I’ve had this blog (diff url, same blog technically) for almost ten years now. TEN. YEARS. That’s an entire decade!!! I’ve been many things - a superwholock stan, a marvel roleplay nerd, a hetalia fan, etc. I don’t really think any of it is “cringe” tbh. Problematic, sure! I’ve made posts on here that were tone deaf and misinformed and straight up Bad. I loved pieces of media that, looking back… probably weren’t the greatest. But I’m not angry with teenage me for liking what I liked and being loud and obnoxious about it. It was fun. I did GISHWHES. I went to the movie theater in cosplay. I bought a fucking trench coat and red converse. I had fun! I was here for mishapocalypse. I was here for tumblr prom. I was here for photogenic guy, back when we tagged things GPOY, for the scalene triangle, for tumblr university, for human versions of tumblr/deviant art/4chan and our headcanons on who would date who. And there are some people on here who’s URLs I see and still recognize from YEARS ago - I don’t know any of your names, but shout out to anybody who followed me back when I was ✨weinerchesters✨ and whatever Loki url came after it and is still here. This blog isn’t anything special (it’s a fucking tumblr blog for gods sake), and I am fully aware it’s not like people follow Me for Content, but it’s just cool to see urls in the notes you recognize, you know?

Festiveyoda is dead! I am now orcnextdoor.

Why? Bc I got tired of putting fantasy shit in a sideblog mostly. I like this better than Star Wars now. also, because I have always had a million interests, and I don’t feel like categorizing them anymore. they’re all in my head anyway. and also, because all my top posts are non fandom related, and I’m pretty sure the vast majority of my 5k followers are dead blogs from the weinerchesters era. Which is valid!

I’ve done a lot of growing as a person since the years I’ve had this funky thing we call tumblr and anyway I’m just tired of trying to maintain any semblance of uniform content (not that I ever really succeeded in that) so now I’m just gonna do whatever I want ok bye
