whats the issue as long as rox is trans? well the issue is that theres context to that move. jade’s body being seen as a joke is a fuckin HUGE one. callie another trans girl comes out as nonbinary? which is? ?? its explained as callie felt like they were forced to identify as a girl to be the opposite of calliborn. calliope the humanity and troll culture weeb. its hard to feel like this was anything but a “theyre an alien thus they must be nonbinary”.

My library got copies of Teen Titans: Robin by Kami Garcia and Gabriel Picolo so I borrowed it. WHERE IS JASON AND TIM? I literally only read this volume, so I’m filling in all the empty spaces for myself.

I’m guessing Dick is about 18-19 in this continuity. He’s been fighting with Bruce about not going to college and staying Robin and what that could mean for his future. Bruce wants him to pursue a civilian life and Bruce is kind of traditional to believe education is super important. They’ve fought enough to compromise on a deferred year for now, but Dick already knows college isn’t for him. He’s just in limbo to keep the peace with Bruce when Damian shows up as the newest member of the family.

Jason is in college on the west coast studying English Literature and considering doing law if only to troll as many rich assholes in the name of the poor and oppressed when he’s a grown up. The Joker thing didn’t necessarily have to happen, maybe he has vitiligo or even just general blunt force trauma to give him that grey streak in his hair. The aggression came to a natural end as he graduated high school (a huge achievement he’s super proud of!) and got ready to go to college. He worked under the code name Robin at the same time as Dick, they’re minors they have to share! He’s not too worried about not being Robin for a few years. He’s on a path that’s a direct foil to Dick’s and there’s some resentment and rivalry there due to it.

Tim is with Young Justice on the West Coast whenever he can be (being friends with Kid Flash is awesome). He finds high school super boring (he’s a junior) and he spends a lot of time getting deep into forensics, coding, and photography on his own. If Dick is the golden boy jock, Jason is the outcast bookworm, then Tim is the weeb skater. He’s kept longer hair, it’s down to his shoulders now and occasionally styled with Amazonian braids (thanks Cassie), ever since he was removed from his parents’ custody a few years ago. He has a huge and heavy backpack, anime t-shirts, and his custom Pokémon skateboard with him (team Instinct).

Dick and Damian had a draw for most of the things they competed in but Tim would’ve crushed both Damian and Dick with hacking. He already coded a whole program that does it in seconds. Jason would’ve also beat both in target shooting cause he does that with Roy all the time.
