Cartier Necklace

Taylor was first seen wearing a vintage Cartier Necklace on 31 May 2023. The necklace is a $27k USD 1980's necklace. As style bloggers commented at the time Cartier had not been part of her street style before. At the VMAs in late 2022 she commented that she does not buy expensive jewellery, then started wearing this very expensive piece, in what seems to be important occasions. Of 8 wears have been at two weddings, twice in a photo that refers to Harry and twice close to Haylor anniversary's.

8 May 2023 - Coincidentally the day before Taylor was first seen wearing the necklace a photo of Harry outside Cartier was shared. Harry had been wearing the same shirt in a fan photo on 8 May. After which he was MIA on a tour break. Between when this photo was taken and it appeared online both he and Taylor were MIA on a tour break.

Soon in June after a fan commented on a Haylor Tiktok (since deleted and reposted) that her father had driven Harry to Taylors RI house 'recently' which may be false, there were also media reports they were hanging out.

20 May - their anniversary, Taylor played Invisible and Question...? Before question she said: "I have just never been this happy in all my life. I just want to thank you for being part of that. It's not just he tour, I just feel like my life finally makes sense. So I want to play this song that brings back a lot of happy memories."

On the same day, their anniversary, and the anniversary of HH Harry posted "I've never been happier than making this album"

But - Matty Healy? IMHO it was over Maylor/Haylor timeline and the promotion for Waglor had not started.

Perhaps Taylor bought the necklace for herself, it's interesting that she wears it for special occasions and that it appeared after Harry was seen near the store and then near Taylor.

A Valentine Engagement

Premise: Cassie and Ethan's big news makes for front page headlines in the society papers.

I've been wanting to do an engagement photoshoot for Ethan & Cassie for ages (her family insisted). I originally thought I'd commission artwork, but decided to make a manip instead and write a society news story.

The Valentine Clan is expanding by one and it’s a Rhode Island affair.

Newport royalty, Asher and Myra Valentine, announced the engagement of their granddaughter, Dr. Cassandra (Cassie) Elizabeth Valentine (31) — daughter of Robert and Olivia Valentine — to Providence-born Dr. Ethan Jonah Ramsey (39), son of Mr. Alan Ramsey.

The couple met four years ago while working at Boston’s Edenbrook Hospital, where Dr. Valentine is currently Head of Diagnostics and Dr. Ramsey is Chief of Medicine.

By all accounts it was a fairytale romance and now a whirlwind wedding. The couple plans to wed in an intimate ceremony with close family and friends on the grounds of the Valentine Estate on Oceanside in July.

Even though their permanent residence is in Arlington, VA along with The Hudson Group global headquarters, the Valentines have been part of the Newport establishment since the 1800s, owning one of the few legacy homes still in the original family’s care.

When John F. and Jacqueline Kennedy moved in together for the first time as newlyweds, they rented a four-bedroom townhouse in Georgetown, with oak floors, huge windows, and an English-style back garden with a brick walkway and bright flower beds.

Now, for the first time, that house is about to hit the real estate market, having been kept in the owner’s family since it was built in 1942.

The list price is $2 million.

John and Jackie married on 12 September 1953, in Newport, Rhode Island.

It was the high-society event of the season, with more than 700 guests.

After they honeymooned in Mexico, Jackie, 24, stayed with her in-laws in Hyannis Port, Massachusetts, while John, a 36-year-old freshman senator, visited on the weekends.

Jackie wasn’t a huge fan of the arrangement and was “anxious” to get a place of their own, according to Anne Garside in her book “Camelot at Dawn: Jacqueline and John Kennedy in Georgetown, May 1954.”

John’s secretary found the furnished rental at 3321 Dent Pl. NW in December 1953; the couple moved in just after the holidays, in January 1954.

Jackie was no newcomer to the Washington area. She had spent part of her childhood in the tony suburb of McLean, Virginia, and had been working as a photographer for the Washington Times-Herald when she met Kennedy in 1952.

According to Garside, John already had ambitions for the White House and welcomed any press attention, so when a photo agency suggested a spread on Jackie’s homemaking skills in the spring of 1954, he and Jackie readily agreed.

From May 4 to 9, photographer Orlando Suero took more than a thousand photos of the couple in their rented home, many of which ended up in the women’s magazine McCall’s.

In the photos, the house holds the couple like a warm embrace. Here, they lean side by side against a balcony railing; there, John relaxes with a book in the sunny backyard while Jackie tends the garden.

There are photos of Jackie coming down the stairs in a ballgown for a candlelit dinner party.

There are others showing her dressed “casually” in a plaid pencil skirt while talking on the phone in a second-floor bedroom and on the patio petting the dog.

Suero even captured the couple looking through their wedding photos together.

“The sessions reflected the image that the Kennedys themselves wished to project,” Garside wrote: glamorous, rich, young and powerful.

Even so, she wrote, a present-day reflection on all that would befall them makes them appear “strangely vulnerable” in the photos.

The Kennedys damaged a number of items in the home in only six months, leading to a large bill upon moving out — $385.49, or about $4,300 in today’s money.

The listing includes a photo of a letter from Jackie to her landlord Virginia Childs, reading:

After Dent Place, the Kennedys spent a few months at Jackie’s family home in McLean, where they experienced their first great trial as a couple.

John’s chronic back problems became so severe, he required a spinal-fusion operation and nearly died of a resulting infection. They spent time in Florida while he recovered.

When they returned to Washington, the couple moved to Hickory Hill in McLean.

It was there the Kennedys experienced another tragedy: In August 1956, their first child, Arabella, was stillborn.

The couple would later lose another child, Patrick, who died at 2 days old in 1963; months later, Kennedy was assassinated.

“Their stay in the house at Dent Place has received only passing mentions in books about the Kennedys,” Garside wrote. “Yet these few months in their first home were perhaps the only relatively normal time in J[ohn] and Jackie’s married life.”

After Kennedy’s assassination, Jackie moved temporarily to Georgetown again, this time to a sprawling mansion on N Street NW.

Incredibly, that property is also on the market.

At $2 million, the Dent Place home is by far the cheaper of the two. The one on N Street, which has been combined with two adjacent properties, is listed at $26.5 million.

Castle Hill Lighthouse is located on Narragansett Bay in Newport, Rhode Island at the end of the historic Ocean Drive.

 It is an active navigation aid for vessels entering the East Passage, between Conanicut Island and Aquidneck Island. The lighthouse has become a symbol of Newport, and a frequent site for wedding photos, proposals, and tourist photos.

 Although the property is owned by the nearby Castle Hill Inn, the lighthouse is owned by the United States Coast Guard

The lighthouse was completed in 1890 on property formerly belonging to the naturalist, oceanographer, and zoologist Alexander Agassiz of Harvard University. Agassiz sold the land to the United States Government for the lighthouse for $1.

1. What’s your favorite hobby or pastime?

Singing will always be my number one love. Music is still therapy. My favorite hobby now though would have to be doing yoga, but that’s becoming part of my lifestyle. I also really like expressing myself through pole dancing, divination practices, traveling, writing, trying new food, playing with animals, listening to music, reading, hanging out with friends & loved ones.

2. Can you share a childhood memory that has stuck with you?

Getting my lip scar lol, sometimes I don’t listen 😂 I’ll make a Storytime about that on my YouTube soon. Maybe an older one is being 16 and going to Greece with my mom, she won that trip at a raffle and to this day it is one of my favorite travel memories.

3. What’s your favorite book or movie, and why?

No Disrespect by Sista Souljah, but right now I am reading the Water Dancer by Ta-Nehisi Coates.. such a good read. Favorite movie would be Avatar (the blue people).

4. If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

I saw that I manifested going to Bali my last Q&A lol I went last year in August and it was beautiful. Now, top 5 on my list are: Brazil, Morocco, Saint Lucia, Senegal, Copenhagen. All for different reasons lol, stay tuned for the travel diaries to find out why.

Stop listening to what other people define you as, what their dreams for you are. Tap more into who you think you are. Think bigger. You are the author of your story.

8. Career Goals?

I am a multidimensional being who has a lot of interests so tbh I could do a bunch of things lol. But as of rn I would like to be a Professor (Dr.) at the collegiate level. I would like to own an investment property that has a home feel but is where I conduct my business surrounding mindfulness, wellness & cats lol. I would like to be a published author, and traveler — getting paid for all of the above. A multi millionaire who is smart and generous with money. And health conscious.

Currently though, I am happy being an ADV ELA elementary teacher and now also the Lead DEI Coordinator for the Elementary campus. 💕

9. Do you want kids/to get married?

Yes, 2 and yes I would like to be married. Preferably before I have kids. But the wedding is going to be small, chic. Bomb ass photoshoot though best believe. The emphasis will be placed on a luxurious honeymoon trip

i don't know if you guys will post this but did you notice any thing off about olivia c's latest photo dump? it's supposed to be fourth quarter pictures but she hasn't been in rhodey since early october, the trees in the background are green, and the photo of cmac with the coffee was posted before, back in july.

has she just not had much going on?

We think the Rhode Island photo was taken around the same time she was there for that christening (early October as you said). We do concede that we've seen the CMC photo before and one of us remembers it being posted around the wedding? But, we don't know why it ended up in her dump now or if she just ran out of content. She seems to have taken a major step back from posting though, probably to work on their new house and deal with injured CMC
