I haven’t fully figured out what Elka is up to in my future au but I do know she does the Intern Program to become a psychonaut ( possibly due to fear of her ending up a villain due to my previous post abt the whole doom family cycle ) Cassie is her mentor

I feel like she ends up specializing in Mental Projection and Clairovoyance

She and Nils are still in a relationship but It’s extremely messy ( like constantly breaking up and getting back together every other week messy ) eventually they get engaged and Elka starts to throw herself into wedding preparations as a way to distract herself ( from the fact she knows the her and Nils won’t last , her prophetic visions starting to worsen and overwhelm her and the fact she is slowly starting to realize she doesn’t even like men and has been struggling with comphet for years )

( Nils is also going through it but this isn’t abt him /lh )

On the day of the wedding both she and Nils both get cold feet and pretty much lock themselves in their dressing rooms

This Prompts the groomsmen ( ie Raz and probably like uh Quentin or JT? ) to go check on Nils and the Bridesmaids ( I’m thinking Franke, Kitty and maybe Phoebe or Crystal? Not exactly sure ) to check on Elka and mental world shenanigans insue

[EN] The groom is dancing with his aunt. Or maybe his godmother. Or someone else entirely. Honestly, I don’t know who he’s dancing with. It’s a wedding, and everyone’s having fun. Well, except for those who are working. They might not be having as much fun. Maybe none at all?

Because while the DJ or photographer might get some enjoyment from being part of the event, there are also waitresses, cooks, and maybe even a security guard. Not sure who else. It seems like exhaustion might start to take over for them after a while. Not that anyone feels refreshed after 10–12 hours with a camera, mind you. ;)

But the music plays, and people circle the dance floor. :)

Bo o ile DJ czy fotograf mogą w jakimś stopniu odczuwać przyjemność z uczestnictwa w imprezie. O tyle są jeszcze kelnerki, kucharze, może jakiś ochroniarz. Nie wiem kto jeszcze. Wydaje mi się, że u nich zmęczenie może po jakimś czasie dominować. Nie, żeby po 10 - 12 godzinach z aparatem ktoś czuł się wypoczęty. ;)

I'm going to my friends' wedding in a couple of days, it's gonna be a smallish one in the town I'm from, just behind the house I grew up in by the old harbour and I'm so excited!! They have picked the date of an Ostrobothnian holiday (the best one), which traditionally marks the end of the summer house season and is celebrated with big bonfires and fireworks. I'm fucking stoked, I grew up right in that area and my lovely friends will be there and the bride and groom are fantastic people that I love dearly! I met the groom through my brother a handful of years ago and we quickly became good friends, he's a marine biologist and has a huge heart and strong conscience. The bride I've known forever, we were neighbours and friends as kids but we didn't talk for years and years until I started hanging out with her soon-to-be husband. She's super funny and congenial, always down to listen to your complaining and sharing in shit-talking. They are sincerely so sweet together, in a way that's not beyond lovingly making fun of each other. They usually host boardgame nights among our circle of friends and their house always feels so welcoming and warm. Just hanging out with them feels like home.

I've only been to one other wedding as an adult so far, and I'm really looking forward to this one as well!
