First look at We Could Be Heroes

A new trailer has been released for We Could Be Heroes. No release date was specified.

We Could Be Heroes is a retro style, action packed beat ‘em up in the style of classic 90s arcade titles. Featuring stunning pixel art, a huge array of attacks and destructible environments. Become a hero and fight bad guys while stopping crimes and rescuing innocent civilians along the way.

So like, I reactivated my long dead tumblr account just so I could message you and tell you how much I lost my shit over your Sh. fic so far. Like, how absolutely fucking GORGEOUS is your writing? Let me tell you. I am working on the next two chapters of Sh. right now (I want to make sure that the tension of the story is working out okay before I post something and can’t change it) and Namjoon’s scene is... sooner than any of us might expect. Let’s just say there’s something about him he’s been holding back for a little bit longer than expected. There is an unexpected boom... in unexpected...places 😂

Where Eagles Fly

So I’m watching this episode of 60 minutes

about a chick who’s 31 and eagle-hunting

on the Steppes of Mongolia, and she got a

Ph.D. in that—that’s right, training golden

eagles how to hunt foxes so that humans can

harvest the pelts, giving the raptors the meat,

a symbiotic relationship that’s been going on

for thousands of years, while I’m over here

worrying about my cable bill going up by

ten bucks because I subscribed to HBO to

watch the last season of Game of Thrones,

a saga about completely fictitious peoples,

which makes my life even more derivative

in that I’m living voyeuristically through

the lives of characters that don’t even exist.

Who the fuck is this chick? I’m thinking to

myself, and why am I not her? And who are

these people who get to do beautiful things

get doctorates for it, and make a living doing

it while I’m worried if I can afford to put a

new roof on my house. She is on the other

side of the earth, on the widest contiguous,

undeveloped grasslands on earth with endless

sky as her roof, riding with the horse nomads,

messing with eagles the way I walk my dog.

I want to find a way that this puts everything

in perspective, but I still don’t know what it is

other than the fact that I am fascinated, jealous,

inspired, and vaguely angry at the same time,

and I haven’t done anything to change that.

We Could Be Heroes hy Mike Chen was a #BOTM science fiction pick. “Jamie wakes up in an empty apartment with no memory wondering who he is. He discovers he has the ability to read and erase other people’s memories - and decides to use that power to hold up banks. Zoe Wong also has memory loss and uses her abilities of speed and strength to deliver fast food and beat up the occasional bad guy. Together they discover a threat to the city and must work together to fight it” This book is okay. I really wanted to love this story. It just falls a little short. The overused super power trope doesn’t help. The characters are okay, but it never grabs you. WE COULD BE HEROES: ⭐️.... : (Spoiler free) Wow, this movie was rubbish, but I’ll begin with it’s good qualities...the kids really liked it. But my goodness, the quality was not even that of a made for TV movie, the sets, the way it was shoot and the cgi were just so cheap and tacky. This was a surprise considering it had several famous actors and it’s directed by Robert Rodriguez. The story weak and superpowers uninspired. Worst of all it wasn’t funny but was very cringey at times. I’m not against child actors or the genre; Sky High was an excellent movie of a similar nature. So let your kids watch it but don’t commit yourself to sitting through it with them as it’s painful. Have you seen it? We Could Be Heroes

This world does not need more clerks

to flounder in rooms and file things;

there’s no more room for jeering jerks

and all the pain their sneering brings.

There’s too many middle-managers now

that try to warrant each step they take;

and bootlickers thrice that modestly bow

like minions for each little penny to make.

Thus, day after day, routines are repeated,

for if you rebel, they belittle and chafe;

there is something cozy in staying seated,

in following rubrics, and playing it safe.

Now is the time for heroes to rise

to show us all what audacity brings,

but when they fail, they’re fools in our eyes;
