Even when I’m feeling a little #tired, when the #weatherisgood nice I’ll try and get out with the dog. #Dogwalking is my therapy. #dogwalkingismytherapy It’s wonderful to be outside in the fresh air after experiencing being in hospital for chunks of time in my life. Yes I get tired but is the nice tired knowing that I have walk d with puppy and enjoyed my time in the countryside - I encourage anyone with outside space to get out and make the most of it. You won’t look back when you are old and regret your life enjoying life. This time a year ago I had only recently learned I could go on to the liver transplant waiting list. I had had a worrying few weeks not knowing whether or not I would be able to be put onto the list as I have a #benign #braintumour.my head. They were concerned that under the anaesthetists drugs I might not wake up so they had to do some research. When I finally learned that I could go on to the liver transplant waiting list I was overwhelmed with happiness. I have not always wanted a new liver, as For long time I didn’t feel worthy. I felt that due to shortage of organs that will be more deserving people who should have a liver. But as time passed I realise that I loved life and the opportunity to help others and be with me those that I loved. I hoped and I #prayed that I might be given the opportunity to actually have a #normallife and a second chance. Whether it was God or something else I will never know, but a year later I am feeling incredibly blessed to have a new liver and a complete surprise in the form of brand spanking #newcar for a year. I have come so far in 12 months and it just shows what you can achieve if you have goals, ambition, dreams and drive. And you dare to believe. Never give up. Keep going. Life is what you make of it. Live it - don’t let it pass you by. I am only here now due to the generosity of my #organdonor and their family. They have #savedmylife #changedmylife of me and my family but there is still a #shortageoforgans - #please this #Christmas #changelives - #jointheorgandonorregister and tell you friends and family so they don’t disregard your choices.
