what do you think each of the evan’s wear to bed?
(i was trying to imagine what JPM would wear to bed and was stumped lmao)
⋆𐙚 ₊ the evans… sleepwear .ᐟ
ft. tate langdon ‧ kit walker ‧ kyle spencer ‧ jimmy darling ‧ james patrick march‧ kai anderson ‧ rory monahan ‧ peter maximoff ‧ colin zabel
a/n: ty for the req !! so fun to write tbh
⟢ 𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐄 𝐋𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐃𝐎𝐍.
tate’s sleepwear is very 90s boy-next-door. half the time, he’s in those vintage-looking striped tees—horizontal stripes in muted colors, the kind that might seem kinda baby-ish now but somehow work on him. baby boy. the rest of the time, it’s a band tee, nirvana or the smashing pumpkins. for bottoms, he’ll either grab his track & field shorts (you know, the short ones that look kinda fruity) or a pair of boxers. if it’s hot, he’ll ditch the shirt completely. on colder days, he’s in one of those sweaters paired with green checkered pyjama pants.
⟢ 𝐊𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐋𝐊𝐄𝐑.
kit’s all about practicality. hot weather? briefs. nothing else. he’s not into anything restrictive or fancy when he’s sleeping. when it’s colder, he might throw on some soft flannel pajama pants and a white undershirt, but only if it’s freezing.
⟢ pre death .ᐟ 𝐊𝐘𝐋𝐄 𝐒𝐏𝐄𝐍𝐂𝐄𝐑.
kyle’s sleepwear usually includes an old college club tee—something from a campus event or charity run—or a nerdy sci-fi shirt with marvel, star wars, or star trek designs. for bottoms, it’s always something cozy, like well-worn sweatpants or flannel pyjama bottoms, usually in neutral or plaid patterns. his clothes always smell nice because he’s that guy who uses fabric softener religiously and actually knows how to do laundry properly.
⟢ 𝐉𝐈𝐌𝐌𝐘 𝐃𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆.
wife-beater and boxers, no questions asked. he’s the type to sleep in just his boxers most of the year because he doesn’t see the point in layering up unless it’s absolutely freezing. when the weather does turn colder, he’ll trade the tank for a plain button-down.
⟢ 𝐉𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐒 𝐏𝐀𝐓𝐑𝐈𝐂𝐊 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐂𝐇.
james wouldn’t dare wear anything less than a matching set of black silk pajamas, tailored to fit him perfectly. the initials “J.P.M.” are embroidered in silver thread on the pocket because, of course, he’s that extra. to complete the look, he has a matching silk robe—also black, with a silver trim. probably has a nightcap too.
⟢ 𝐑𝐎𝐑𝐘 𝐌𝐎𝐍𝐀𝐇𝐀𝐍.
“actor off-duty” typa fit. his go-to is a plain, perfectly-fitted t-shirt (you’d think it’s basic, but it’s actually some high-end brand like james perse) paired with plain sweatpants. if it’s getting chilly, he’d swap the tee for a well-worn hoodie, but even that’s designer, probably with a well-hidden logo no one notices unless they know fashion. cashmere socks because his feet get cold in winter. rory’s all about comfort, but it’s the kind of comfort only a celeb with a fat paycheck can pull off.
⟢ cult leader .ᐟ 𝐊𝐀𝐈 𝐀𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐎𝐍.
kai would 100% sleep shirtless, wearing those loose, low-slung grey sweatpants that sit dangerously low on his hips, showing off that delicious v-line because. he a whore. when it’s cold, though, he’s layering up with a sweater or plain hoodie—the kind a tech bro would wear without a second thought. or black thermal shirt paired with fleece joggers.
⟢ 𝐀𝐔𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐍 𝐒𝐎𝐌𝐌𝐄𝐑𝐒.
austin’s sleepwear is all about luxury. he’d wear a high-end silk robe, probably from something like tom ford or balenciaga, in sleek b & w pinstripes or a classy paisley print. It’s the kind of robe that looks expensive without being flashy—tasteful, refined, and just a little bit sexy. he’d leave it slightly open at the chest, showing off just a sliver of his pale skin (scandalous! what a slut!). he’s also got matching slippers, and an eye mask for when he needs to block out sunlight.
⟢ 𝐏𝐄𝐓𝐄𝐑 𝐌𝐀𝐗𝐈𝐌𝐎𝐅𝐅.
he’s got a collection of band tees that double as sleepwear, (pink floyd or rush). then, of course, there are those absurdly dorky graphic tees that are so bad they’re good—like the “nacho average guy” with a cartoon taco or a random graphic of a turtle. peter’s pyjama bottoms are often cartoony and childish. think patterns like cartoon superheroes, or those old-school looney tunes characters. they’re soft and comfy, of course.
⟢ 𝐂𝐎𝐋𝐈𝐍 𝐙𝐀𝐁𝐄𝐋.
simple and comfy. he’d throw on a plain cotton shirt and wear boxers. when it’s warmer, he’s in boxers, but when the temperature drops, he’s switching to a long-sleeve thermal shirt to stay warm. his pajama bottoms are a staple—those brown, white, and black checkered plaid ones, they’re slightly worn in from frequent use, but he looooves that soft, lived-in feeling.

Carmen
“My boots are from the Dior fall 2005 collection. I am wearing a dress with no label from the flea market. I layered three different tops to keep warm: a thermal, a Free People mock lace long sleeve, which was a hand me down from my older sister, and a cable knit cashmere sweater that my old roommate gifted me. The pink suede Bebe jacket is from Made This For You. The vintage fur hat is from The Melrose Trading Post and my bag is from Italy. Most of these clothes I bought used and I usually alter and restore pieces to keep them alive and circulating in my wardrobe.”

Winter
Tony Stark, the genius billionaire with a penchant for snark, stood in the cozy warmth of his lab at the Avengers Tower, effortlessly tinkering with some new gadget. His soulmate, Yn, however, was bundled up as if she were about to trek through the Arctic. She wore a thick, woolen coat, gloves, and a scarf tightly wrapped around her neck, topped with a fuzzy hat that barely allowed her to see.
"You know, Yn," Tony began, his tone dripping with amusement, "for someone so stylish, you sure know how to make a fashion statement. Are you planning to climb Everest after this, or just trying to impersonate a very fashionable snowman?"
Yn shot him a playful glare, her breath puffing out in visible clouds despite the insulated confines of the tower. "Not everyone has a miniature arc reactor keeping them warm, Tony. Some of us have to rely on good old-fashioned layers."
Tony grinned, his eyes twinkling with mischief as he put down the tool he was working with. He sauntered over to her, a small smirk tugging at the corners of his lips. "You know, I could always build you a personal heating system. Something sleek, stylish, maybe even a little bit... Stark-branded. That way, you wouldn't have to look like you're preparing for a snowstorm every time the temperature drops a degree or two."
Yn huffed, though the corners of her mouth twitched in a smile. "Or, you could just turn up the thermostat."
Tony pretended to consider it for a moment, then shook his head. "Nah, where's the fun in that? Besides, I think it's cute. All bundled up, you look like a little marshmallow. My little marshmallow."
She rolled her eyes, unable to suppress a grin. "You're impossible, you know that?"
"And yet, you still love me," he quipped, leaning in to press a kiss on her cold cheek. His lips lingered for a second longer, and when he pulled back, his expression softened. "But seriously, if you're cold, just say the word. I'll build something for you, no problem."
Yn smiled warmly, the chill in her bones momentarily forgotten. "Thanks, Tony. But I think I'll stick with my layers for now. It gives you something to tease me about."
"You're right," Tony agreed, his eyes gleaming with affection. "And we both know how much I enjoy that."
He wrapped an arm around her, pulling her close. Despite his teasing, the warmth of his embrace was all she really needed. In that moment, it didn’t matter how cold it was outside—or inside. As long as Tony was there, Yn knew she’d always feel warm enough.
It was a particularly chilly day in New York, and despite the advanced heating systems in the Avengers Tower, Yn found herself struggling with the cold. She had piled on layers upon layers—starting with a thick thermal shirt, followed by a cashmere sweater, and topped off with a bulky winter coat. But even then, the biting cold seemed to seep through, leaving her feeling frozen to the core. Eventually, Yn resigned herself to the warmth of her favorite plush blanket, wrapping herself up until she resembled a giant furball with only a small part of her face visible.
Tony, as always, was unfazed by the weather. He was in his lab, casually dressed in his usual T-shirt, sleeves rolled up as he worked on his latest project. When he glanced over and saw Yn buried in her blanket cocoon, he couldn’t help but smile—a soft, genuine smile that rarely graced his features. The sight of his soulmate, huddled up and so thoroughly bundled, made something warm and protective stir in his chest.
"Sweetheart," Tony called out, his tone a mixture of amusement and affection, "are you planning on hibernating until spring?"
Yn shifted slightly, just enough to peek out from her blanket fortress. Her eyes were wide with disbelief as she stared at Tony, who looked completely unaffected by the cold. "How are you not freezing?" she asked, her voice muffled slightly by the layers around her. "You’re wearing a T-shirt, Tony! I can barely feel my toes, and I’m practically drowning in clothes and blankets."
Tony chuckled, setting down the tool he had been working with. He sauntered over to her, the sight of her nestled so deeply into the blankets only making his grin widen. "Well, I’ve got this nifty little device in my chest that keeps me nice and toasty," he said, tapping the arc reactor with a smirk. "Perks of being Iron Man."
Yn gave him a mock glare, her expression more pouty than angry. "I could use some of that toasty right now," she muttered, burrowing even deeper into her blankets until only her eyes were visible.
Tony knelt down beside the couch where she was cocooned, his gaze softening as he looked at her. He found it incredibly endearing—his usually composed and strong soulmate now reduced to a big, adorable furball of blankets, trying her best to fend off the cold. He reached out, gently brushing a stray lock of hair away from her face, his fingers grazing her chilled skin.
“You know,” he began, his voice lowering to a tender murmur, “you’re the cutest furball I’ve ever seen. It’s kind of unfair, really. Here I am, trying to work, and all I can think about is how adorable you look all bundled up.”
Yn’s eyes crinkled at the corners, a clear sign she was smiling beneath the layers. “I’m glad one of us is enjoying this,” she replied, her voice still muffled but warm with affection. “I don’t even want to get up, Tony. I’m too cold to move.”
Tony’s heart swelled with a mix of emotions—amusement, adoration, and a protective urge to make sure she was comfortable. He leaned in closer, pressing a kiss to her forehead, letting his lips linger against her cold skin. The contrast between his warmth and her chill sent a shiver through her, and he noticed, pulling back with a concerned look.
“You’re freezing, Yn,” he said, his teasing tone giving way to something more serious. “Let me warm you up.”
Before she could protest, Tony slipped his arms around her, carefully maneuvering his way into the blanket cocoon she had created. He settled in beside her, pulling her close against him, his body heat instantly seeping through the layers.
“Tony,” Yn began, a little surprised by his sudden closeness, “you don’t have to—”
“I know,” Tony interrupted softly, his breath warm against her ear. “But I want to. Besides, it’s not every day I get to cuddle with a human burrito. You’re stuck with me now.”
Yn sighed, the warmth of his body and the comforting weight of his arms around her easing some of the chill that had settled in her bones. She snuggled closer, resting her head against his chest, right where she could hear the faint hum of the arc reactor. It was oddly soothing, a reminder of the man who loved her enough to drop everything just to make sure she wasn’t cold.
“Feeling better?” Tony asked after a few moments, his voice laced with affection.
“A little,” Yn admitted, her voice softer now, more relaxed. “You’re like a personal heater.”
“Just one of the many services I offer,” Tony quipped, his hand gently rubbing circles on her back through the blanket. “But seriously, Yn, if you’re cold, just say the word. I’ll crank up the heat in here, or we can take a trip to somewhere warm. How about Hawaii?”
Yn chuckled, the sound muffled by the layers. “As tempting as that sounds, I think I’m good right here. As long as you’re with me.”
Tony smiled, a genuine, content smile that reached his eyes. “Good answer,” he said, pressing another kiss to her forehead. “Now, why don’t we just stay like this for a while? I’m not going anywhere.”
And for the first time that day, Yn felt completely warm. Not just from Tony’s body heat, but from the love and care he so openly showed her. Wrapped up in her blankets, with Tony by her side, the cold didn’t seem so bad after all.
As Tony held Yn close, he noticed that the usual soft murmurs of their conversation had fallen silent. The only sounds left in the room were the quiet hum of the arc reactor in his chest and the faint rustling of blankets as he adjusted his hold on her. Curiosity piqued, he tilted his head slightly and looked down at her, expecting to see those warm, deep eyes gazing up at him. But instead, what he saw made his heart swell with an emotion so profound it nearly took his breath away.
Yn had fallen asleep in his arms, her face relaxed and peaceful, framed by the layers of blankets she had wrapped herself in. Her breath was soft and even, a gentle rise and fall that spoke of utter comfort and trust. Her lips were slightly parted, and a stray lock of hair had fallen over her forehead. Tony couldn’t help but smile, his heart filling with a tender warmth that he hadn’t felt in what seemed like forever.
For a long moment, Tony just stared at her, memorizing the details of this serene scene. She looked so small, so delicate in his arms, yet there was something immensely powerful about the trust she placed in him. To fall asleep so deeply, so completely without worry—she felt safe with him. That realization filled Tony with a deep sense of contentment, something he hadn’t experienced in years, if ever.
As he held her, Tony’s thoughts began to drift back to the time before Yn had entered his life. He remembered the endless nights spent alone in his penthouse, the hollow feeling that had settled in his chest despite the luxury and success that surrounded him. He had everything a man could want—money, power, fame—but the one thing that had always eluded him was the connection he craved on a deeper, more personal level.
There were days when Tony had wondered if he would ever find his soulmate, the person who was supposed to complete him. The doubts had gnawed at him, especially in the quiet moments when the world around him seemed to stand still, leaving him alone with his thoughts. He had tried to distract himself—throwing himself into his work, creating suits, saving the world—but nothing ever filled the void that lingered in his heart.
But now, all of that seemed like a distant memory. Because here she was, Yn, snuggled up and sleeping in his arms without a care in the world. She had filled that void with her presence, with her warmth and love, in a way Tony hadn’t even realized he needed. And as he gazed down at her, Tony couldn’t help but marvel at the sheer luck—no, the fate—that had brought them together.
Tony’s arms tightened around Yn slightly, as if to ensure that she was real, that she wasn’t just another dream. The weight of her in his embrace, the warmth of her breath against his chest, all confirmed that she was indeed here with him. His heart ached with a fierce protectiveness, an overwhelming desire to keep her safe and happy, to make sure she never felt the loneliness he had once endured.
He pressed a gentle kiss to the top of her head, his lips lingering there as he closed his eyes. The scent of her hair, a mixture of vanilla and something uniquely Yn, filled his senses, grounding him in this perfect moment. He knew he would do anything to keep her in his life, to make sure she always felt as loved and cherished as she made him feel.
"Thank you," Tony whispered against her hair, his voice barely audible. "Thank you for being here, for finding me."
As Yn slept on, unaware of the depth of his thoughts, Tony continued to hold her, content to simply watch over her as she rested. In that quiet moment, with his soulmate in his arms, Tony Stark realized that he had finally found what he had been searching for all his life. And he knew, without a doubt, that he would never take it for granted.
For the first time in a long while, Tony Stark felt truly at peace. The cold, the loneliness, the doubts—they all seemed to fade away, leaving only the warmth of Yn’s presence in his arms and the steady beat of his heart against hers. And as he sat there, watching her sleep, Tony knew that this—right here, right now—was everything he had ever wanted. Everything he would ever need.
Tony carefully shifted his position, mindful not to disturb Yn as she slept peacefully in his arms. He knew he needed to get back to his work—there were always projects demanding his attention—but the thought of waking her up made him pause. She looked so content, so utterly at ease in her blanket cocoon, that Tony found himself hesitating, reluctant to break the spell of this quiet, intimate moment.
With the utmost care, Tony slowly began to ease Yn out of his embrace, sliding his arms out from beneath her while supporting her head and back. She murmured softly in her sleep, her face nuzzling briefly against his chest as if seeking out the warmth she had grown accustomed to. Tony’s heart gave a small, involuntary tug, but he continued, moving with a gentle precision that only years of working with delicate machinery could have trained him for.
Finally, he managed to lay her down on the couch, making sure she was still wrapped snugly in the blankets that had become her makeshift cocoon. He took a moment to adjust the layers, ensuring they were tucked around her just right, leaving no gaps for the cold air to sneak in. He even added an extra throw from the back of the couch, draping it over her for good measure. Satisfied that she was warm and comfortable, Tony stood up slowly, careful not to make any sudden movements that might rouse her.
But before he could step away, he remembered the one variable that could potentially ruin this peaceful scene: JARVIS. Tony’s AI assistant was incredibly efficient, but sometimes efficiency came with the drawback of unintended noise—like a sudden alert, a notification chime, or even just the sound of the AI’s voice responding to a query. The last thing Tony wanted was for Yn to be jolted awake by something as mundane as an update notification.
Leaning in closer to the nearest interface, Tony’s voice dropped to a low, almost conspiratorial whisper. “JARVIS,” he began, his tone firm but quiet, “listen to me very carefully. I don’t want to hear a single sound from you. No alerts, no updates, nothing. If you wake her up, I will dismantle you, piece by piece, and use your parts to build a toaster. Do I make myself clear?”
JARVIS, always attuned to Tony’s moods and whims, responded with a tone that could almost be described as amused, if such a thing were possible for an AI. “Crystal clear, sir. I shall remain silent until further notice.”
“Good,” Tony whispered back, casting one last glance at Yn’s peaceful form before straightening up and heading back to his workbench.
As Tony returned to his workstation, he felt a smile tugging at the corners of his mouth, a smile that refused to leave no matter how hard he tried to focus on the task at hand. He had experienced countless moments of joy and satisfaction in his life—from building the first Iron Man suit in that cave to saving the world time and time again—but this was different. This was something softer, something more intimate, and it filled him with a warmth that had nothing to do with the arc reactor in his chest.
Sitting down at his workbench, Tony picked up the tools he had set aside earlier, his hands moving with practiced ease as he resumed his work. The lab was quiet, save for the occasional soft clink of metal against metal and the faint whirring of machinery in the background. But even in this silence, there was a new energy in the room, a kind of contentment that had settled over Tony like a comforting blanket.
Every so often, Tony would glance over at the couch, his eyes softening as he took in the sight of Yn, still curled up and fast asleep. The sight filled him with a sense of pride—pride that he could make her feel so safe, so loved, that she could fall asleep without a single worry in the world. It was a far cry from the man he had been before her, the man who had hidden his vulnerabilities behind sarcasm and bravado, unsure if he would ever find someone who could love him for who he truly was.
Now, as he worked, that old loneliness seemed like a distant memory. Yn had brought light into his life, a light that had banished the shadows he had once grown so accustomed to. And as he continued to tinker with the machinery in front of him, Tony found that the smile on his face was not just a product of the moment—it was a reflection of the profound happiness she had brought into his life.
Time passed, and Tony became absorbed in his work, but that smile remained, a constant reminder of the sleeping figure just a few feet away. For once, he didn’t feel the usual pressure to hurry, to finish the project as quickly as possible. There was a calmness in him, a patience that came from knowing that, when he was done, Yn would still be there, wrapped up in her blankets, waiting for him.
Tony allowed himself to bask in this quiet joy, to savor the rare sense of contentment that filled his heart. He knew that life would always be chaotic, that the world would continue to throw challenges his way, but he also knew that, with Yn by his side, he could face anything. She was his anchor, his constant, the one who had turned his house into a home.
And as he worked through the night, that smile—born of love, of gratitude, of a deep and abiding connection—never left his face.
Tony Stark had faced countless challenges in his life—building an empire, becoming Iron Man, and shouldering the responsibility of protecting the world. Yet, nothing had quite prepared him for the emotional whirlwind of discovering that his soulmate, Yn, was a beloved children's book author. The contrast between their worlds was so stark that it often left him in a state of disbelief, struggling to reconcile how someone as sweet and gentle as Yn could be fated to be with someone like him.
Yn's world was filled with whimsy and innocence. Her books were cherished by children and parents alike, brimming with stories of talking animals, magical forests, and adventures that always ended with a comforting moral. She had a gift for seeing the world through a lens of kindness and imagination, and it was this very gift that made her so beloved by millions. Her words had the power to soothe, to inspire, and to create a sense of wonder that seemed to touch everyone who read her stories. Yn was, in every sense, a beacon of light in a world that often felt too dark and complicated.
Tony, on the other hand, had spent most of his life immersed in a very different kind of world—one dominated by technology, power, and often, destruction. Stark Industries had been synonymous with cutting-edge weaponry long before he ever donned the Iron Man suit. His legacy was built on machines of war, tools designed to protect but also to destroy when necessary. Even after shifting the company’s focus to clean energy and humanitarian projects, the shadows of his past lingered, casting doubts and insecurities that he rarely allowed anyone to see.
It was these shadows that made it difficult for Tony to fully accept that someone as sweet and pure as Yn could truly be his soulmate. He often found himself questioning the cosmic forces that had brought them together, wondering if there hadn’t been some kind of mistake. How could he, a man who had built his fortune on weapons and whose very identity was tied to the armor he wore, be the other half of a woman who crafted worlds of innocence and wonder for children?
This contrast between them was something that Tony couldn’t ignore. He would often watch Yn at her desk, writing or sketching out ideas for her next book, her brow furrowed in concentration as she lost herself in her work. There was a gentleness to her that seemed almost otherworldly to him—a quality that felt so foreign compared to the harsh realities he was used to. He admired her ability to create beauty in the world, to offer something pure and untainted, even as he grappled with the knowledge of his own darker contributions to society.
There were moments when Tony felt a deep sense of unworthiness, as if he didn’t deserve the love and light that Yn brought into his life. He had seen and done things that he wasn’t proud of, made decisions that had cost lives, and even though he had tried to make amends, the weight of those choices still bore down on him. Yn, with her boundless kindness and her talent for creating joy, seemed too good for him, too pure for the complexities of his world. It was hard for Tony to imagine how someone like her could ever fully understand or accept the darker parts of his life.
Yet, despite these doubts, Tony couldn’t help but be drawn to Yn, as if she were a balm for his wounded soul. She had a way of making him feel lighter, of helping him see the good that still existed within him, even when he struggled to see it himself. Yn never shied away from who Tony was; she accepted him, flaws and all, and somehow managed to find beauty in the contrasts that defined their relationship.
Yn often spoke about how every story needed balance—how even the sweetest tales had moments of conflict or sadness that made the happy endings all the more meaningful. She would tell Tony that their relationship was just like one of her stories: it was the balance between their worlds that made their connection so special. To her, Tony wasn’t just a man of war and armor; he was someone who had fought for change, someone who had turned his life around to make the world a better place. She saw the hero in him, not just the weapons manufacturer or the man in the iron suit.
Tony found himself clinging to these reassurances, even as he continued to struggle with his doubts. He admired Yn’s ability to find light in the darkness, to see the potential for good in even the most flawed of characters. It was this perspective that slowly began to change the way Tony saw himself, helping him to accept that maybe, just maybe, he was worthy of the love she offered.
There were still days when Tony would sit in his workshop, staring at the array of weaponry he had created, and feel a pang of guilt. But now, those moments were tempered by the knowledge that Yn was waiting for him upstairs, ready to share her latest story idea or simply to cuddle up on the couch and watch a movie. Her presence in his life was a reminder that he didn’t have to be defined by his past, that he could be more than just the sum of his mistakes.
Yn’s influence on Tony was profound. She had a way of softening his rough edges, of bringing out the parts of him that he had long buried under layers of cynicism and self-reliance. With her, he could let his guard down, allow himself to be vulnerable in a way that he had never been able to before. She taught him that it was okay to embrace the sweeter, softer aspects of life, that it didn’t make him any less of a man or a hero.
In time, Tony began to see their relationship not as a contradiction, but as a beautiful paradox—a testament to the idea that even in the most unexpected pairings, there could be harmony. Yn’s sweetness wasn’t a contrast to his strength; it was a complement to it. Together, they created a balance that made them both stronger, both more complete.
And so, Tony learned to accept, and even to cherish, the fact that his soulmate was a woman who wrote stories for children, who believed in the power of imagination and kindness. It was this very sweetness, this light that Yn brought into his life, that made Tony believe in the possibility of redemption, of becoming the man she saw when she looked at him with those loving, understanding eyes.
In the end, it wasn’t about whether or not they were an obvious match. It was about the fact that they had found each other, that despite their differences, they had created something beautiful together. Yn’s world of wonder and Tony’s world of technology had merged in a way that neither of them had expected, but both had come to treasure. It was a love story as unique and unexpected as the two of them, and Tony wouldn’t have had it any other way.

Scarf (Javi Gutierrez x gn!Reader)
A Merry Fic-Mas - December 4
Part of A Merry Fic-Mas: A Holiday Fic Calendar - click for masterlist. FYI: I'm having so much trouble with taglists at the moment that I'm not going to use them for now - if you want to keep updated, follow @ladameecrit and turn on notifications.
Pairing: Javi Gutierrez x gn!reader
Rating: Teen
Word count: 658
Warnings: Reader can knit (try it, it’s fun!); reader gives Javi a Christmas gift but consider this a secular Christmas; no use of Y/N, no use of gendered pronouns, no physical descriptions of reader; mild angst.
Summary: Once upon a time, your first Christmas gift to Javi was a perfectly imperfect handmade scarf.
He always ended up gazing at your hands while you knitted.
It was hypnotic, almost: the repetitive little gestures with your clever fingers, the yarn over, yarn under, turn the work; the way you would furrow your brow just so and purse your lips as you counted the stitches.
The way he always had to suppress a giggle when you swore at whatever you were making, sighing in exasperation.
Javi could never quite grasp how you managed it without looking. He asked about that, once, when you were cosied up beside him on his long couch, blanket over your knees, knitting away while your eyes were trained on Paddington 2 playing on the TV.
“It’s muscle memory by now,” you’d explained. “I learn the pattern, I memorise what I need to, and then I can tell by touch what the next stitch is and should be. It’s just a matter of practice - anyone could do it.”
Javi shook his head, still transfixed by your hands working busily away. “It’s not practice, mi amor. It’s your magic.”
For your first Christmas gift to him, you’d made him a scarf. Soft merino yarn, a relatively simple pattern, in a beautiful shade of cornflower blue that you knew would look perfect against his beautiful olive skin and dark hair.
You knew there were a few mistakes in it - a repeated purl stitch when it should have been a knit, a dropped stitch here and there that you’d had to patch in a little clumsily. But every stitch was invested with care and meaning, a manifestation of your desire to keep him warm, safe, and know that he was loved.
You had even found a little woven label that you hand-stitched onto the back of the scarf, stating simply: Made With Love.
When he opened the gift box, Javi’s eyes twinkled as he took out the scarf and ran his fingers carefully over the knitted fabric, taking in every detail.
“It’s not perfect, Javi, and it’s a far cry from your cashmere scarves, but it will keep you warm when it’s cold, and I thought the colour would -”
He stopped you by cradling your face in his hands and kissing you over and over as he murmured his thanks. He picked up the scarf and draped it around his elegant throat, closing his eyes happily as he felt its warmth and softness on his skin.
“It is the most beautiful thing in the world. Apart from you, that is.”
Javi is greeted with the spectre of freezing, early morning London fog when he pulls back the curtains in his hotel room. He shivers reflexively, and goes to the wardrobe to find his warmest clothes for that day’s round of meetings. A grey turtleneck, a thermal undershirt, a charcoal suit, and his perfectly-cut houndstooth woollen overcoat. Perfect.
The sight of the scarf nestled alongside his socks in one of the hotel room drawers stops him in his tracks for a moment. He reaches down and runs his hand over its careful stitching, like he did the day you gave it to him.
So long ago, now, and so hard to understand what had transpired in the time since.
Some winters he cannot look at it, let alone wear it. But there is something inviting in its sturdy warmth today, something that whispers to him of comfort and joy.
Javi turns to the full length mirror and takes in his reflection.
He is well put-together, but incomplete.
He drapes the scarf around his neck, fingering the little tag as he appraises himself again.
Made With Love.
For a moment, he feels whole again.

Cute, cozy ways to survive winter
- buy a winter-ish tea to warm you up in the morning and the evening. You can also make your own mix (I love cranberry and elderberry)
- take vitamin D3 to boost your mood and prevent seasonal depression
- take beta carotin to have a glowy, tanned skin even without the sunlight
- get a good quality jacket from a material like wool or hemp (eco), and yes, it will cost a lot, but it's worth it. It keeps your warmer than any cheaper jacket and will last longer. A tip from a broke girl: I started to save up money in June. Also I search only in second-hand stores. I also recommend a faux fur. You can already find nice finds for 90€
- few times a week, make yourself a little bath for your feet. After a cold day, pour hot water into a bowl and put some nice bathing salts or etheric oils, I usually do smth that smells like pine trees. Super relaxing and warms your feet ^^
- read winter-ish books. They help to romanticize the cold time and make the season much more special
- get yourself a nice thick pair of socks that you will enjoy wearing during the winter
- dress warm. I have a special thermal set that I always put under my clothes. Avoid wearing jeans, for they will only make you freeze. Wear thick sweaters (I love cashmere, I bought one cheap in a second hand store), or long warm skirts or dresses (they make me feel girly and special during the cold time) remember, when you buy expensive, good quality clothes keep them in natural colors so they're universal and timeless. Remember: the time of cute outfits is over, now we're in the survival mode
- you can add yourself some color with pretty gloves and hats. I love wearing slavic scarves during the winter to honor my heritage
- when buying a shower gel, perfume, shampoo or body lotion peak smells that remind you of winter. I go for mandarine/ orange scents 😊🍊
- drink vitamin c in the morning!!!
- choose a thicker cream for your face, nothing water-based. Your skin needs special care and protection during the winter. I have an acne prone, oily skin, and I still choose thicker creams, so don't be afraid to do the same. My go-to for winter is a levera cream for sensitive skin and a black cumin seed oil. I also like products from PinusVital.
- uv still exists during winter so don't forget a sunscreen!
- decorate your apartment, room or house with winter decor. I'd defiently focus more on winter related things since they will last until March. Christmas things tend to be thrown away much quicker after Christmas. There's so many cute ideas!
- get yourself a sun clock. It's a lamp you put by your bed, which imitates the sunshine. It's especially useful in early mornings since we humans aren't programmed to be waking up in full darkness. It helps to wake up your body :)
- get yourself a bunch of candles and light them in the evening. Element of fire has always been crucial for our ancestors during these trying times
- every single week plan to do something new. It can be finding a new song or new album, going to a restaurant or a coffee shop you've never been to before, learning something new, visiting a place you haven't seen yet, trying out a new recipe, even taking a different rode back from work/school, write a new poem, start a new book, watch a new movie, keep yourself entertained by little things
- out of the same principle, try to redecorate or change placement of furniture from time to time. Our brains get easily bored and especially during winter it can be very depressing. Brains need the change to stay healthy and fit
- especially during cold times, a community is really important. Even if you're an introverted person, it doesn't mean you should stay alone all the time. Humans are social beings, and we need contacts to one another. During winter months and long evenings, loneliness can be very hard. Try looking for a local book club or knitting club or any other club you'd enjoy. Download Bumble BFF it's an app that helps you to find friends! Volunteer at your local senior house or even your local dog shelter. Being constantly alone has literally never done anyone any good.
- burn incenses to boost energies in your household (any time it's needed, of course if you believe in stuff like this :) ) I recommend orange incense (brings luck and happiness)
- spend time outside. During the week I barely have time but every weekend I try to go on a walk possibly out in the nature. Your mental state regulates this way. Just 15 minutes of walk outside each day can boost your mood. Believe me, it comes from a person who struggled a lot with depressions.
- don't forget to eat well. You burn more calories during the winter because your body uses lots of energy to keep itself warm. Eat regular, well-balanced food portions. I love vegetarian food magazines that offer amazing seasonal recipes, so you cook with vegetables and fruits that actually grow during the winter. I think it adds more magic and meaning to the season to cook with seasonal food.
- wake up early. And early can be different for every person, but sleeping in every day is not proven to be healthy. Sleeping in causes chronic diseases, slows down your metabolism, and can cause social problems. Of course, there's nothing wrong with having one slower day, but having a crazy sleeping schedule can get you in sleep debt that will not result in anything productive.
- pick projects you want to accomplish during winter like for example my projects are: learn about local birds and mammals, make a little house in my local forest, learn how to diy fairy houses, learn how to knit :)
❄️Remember that winter time is the time to slow down and relax. Look around at nature and see how everything is seemingly dead and waiting for the spring. Don't worry if you're not being great all the time or constantly achieving new milestones because it's totally fine to calm down after many months of work. I know that the capitalism convinced us that we should always work, no matter what, but I just want you to remember that nature intended otherwise and of you're more tired and sleepy during these months that's totally normal. Just be kind to yourself.❄️

"Cozy Yet Chic: Winter Blouse Trends to Keep You Warm and Stylis
Winter is the perfect season to experiment with fashion, blending practicality with style. When it comes to winter blouses, the ideal choices not only keep you warm but also add a touch of sophistication to your wardrobe. From luxurious fabrics to modern silhouettes, this season’s blouse trends are designed to help you look effortlessly chic while staying cozy. Let’s explore some of the must-have styles and how to incorporate them into your winter outfits.
1. Velvet Elegance
Velvet is a quintessential winter fabric, exuding warmth and luxury. Velvet blouses are trending this season with rich jewel tones like emerald green, deep burgundy, and sapphire blue. Opt for designs with puffed sleeves or high necklines to keep the cold at bay while adding a dramatic flair to your look. Pair a velvet blouse with tailored trousers or an A-line skirt for a sophisticated outfit perfect for dinners or holiday parties.
2. Oversized and Layerable
Oversized blouses are not only comfortable but also incredibly versatile for layering. Choose styles with turtlenecks or button-up collars that can be worn under cozy sweaters or jackets. For a modern twist, try an oversized plaid blouse paired with skinny jeans and knee-high boots. The relaxed fit ensures comfort, while the layering adds dimension to your outfit, making it perfect for casual outings.
3. Knit Blouses for Extra Warmth
Knit blouses are the ultimate blend of warmth and chic. These blouses, often made from soft wool or cashmere blends, feature stylish details like ribbed textures, balloon sleeves, or asymmetrical hems. Pair a fitted knit blouse with high-waisted pants for a polished look, or opt for a cropped style to wear with a maxi skirt. Knit blouses are versatile enough to take you from a cozy day at home to a stylish evening out.
4. Embellished Blouses for Festive Flair
Winter is the season of celebrations, and embellished blouses are perfect for adding a festive touch to your wardrobe. Look for styles adorned with sequins, beads, or metallic threads to make a statement. Pair an embellished blouse with faux leather leggings and ankle boots for an edgy yet glam look. These blouses are also great for layering under blazers or cardigans, allowing you to stay warm without sacrificing style.
5. Flannel and Checks for Casual Cool
Flannel blouses in classic checks or tartan patterns are a winter staple. These blouses are perfect for a laid-back yet chic vibe. Layer a flannel blouse over a turtleneck and finish the look with straight-leg jeans and combat boots. For added warmth, accessorize with a wool scarf and a beanie. This style is ideal for coffee dates, weekend outings, or cozy nights by the fireplace.
6. Sheer Sleeves with a Twist
If you’re looking for a blouse that balances warmth with elegance, opt for one with sheer or mesh sleeves. These styles add a delicate touch while keeping the body lined for insulation. Choose a blouse with embroidery or lace details to elevate the look. Pair it with a midi skirt and heeled boots for a chic winter ensemble.
Styling Tips for Winter Blouses
Layer strategically: Pair blouses with thermal undergarments or turtlenecks for added warmth without bulk.
Choose rich fabrics: Velvet, wool, and heavy silks work best for winter while offering a luxe appearance.
Accessorize wisely: Scarves, statement earrings, and belts can enhance your winter blouse outfits.
Experiment with textures: Mix soft fabrics like knit with structured materials like leather for a balanced look.
This winter, stay cozy yet chic by embracing these stylish blouse trends. Whether you’re heading to a holiday gathering or enjoying a casual day out, the right blouse can transform your outfit and keep you feeling warm and fabulous all season long. So, layer up, experiment with textures, and make a statement with your winter wardrobe!

planning what to bring when i go home for three/maybe four weeks… does this look insane? reasonings under the cut <- This is procrastination i dont want to do coursework
two pairs of jeans which i can layer the thermal leggings under for going out on really cold days, one pair practical one pair more fun/dressy. joggers for sleeping in/period (she is coming)
a mini skirt, fun graphic shorts and a long skirt. classic needed combo. again i can layer stuff under the long skirt and the mini skirt & shorts are a really cute dressier option for nights in/warmer days out. plus i can wear the shorts around the house on chill days
two long really thick knit jumpers one simple one more statement (they both go with absolutely everything) good for wrapping up or around the house. the polka dot is thinner but cashmere so such a cute formal option and still warm
black cardigan & longsleeves are essential layering options i wear them literally every day. i can only bring one jacket and my brown leather jacket is my signature (and warmest) works formal or casual
two tshirts one fitted one oversized, and the axes femme blouse is like a drapy cutesy beige shirt with ribbons, perfect for going out in the day
i was so conservative just choosing three dresses it was SO hard bc i love dresses i might end up bringing more 😭 the knit one is THE perfect christmas dress, so warm and cutesy and statement without being too much, can wear it out or on lazy days!! the other star one is a gamble bc its literally a strappy sequin mini dress not very warm but im planning on wearing it for nye which is usually indoor and we tend to host so no need to wrap up for it. the other is warm long sleeved and i can wear it as a top or skirt so i think its a worthy third choice. accessories wise im only bringing ONE scarf (a light cream one) and then a practical belt and a thick statement one. for shoes im gonna have to just bring my practical stomper boots 😔 so sad
This seems like a lot considering i have clothes at home but i am trying to cover all the bases and im super super super into fashion atm like the most i have ever been and it is also my antidote to seasonal depression 😭 style wise im really into gossip girl 2010s preppy grunge (YES those are opposites. i contain multitudes). also i can pair alll these things with the clothes im getting for xmas Which i am sick with excitement for. getting lots of tops then which is why i was more conservative top wise than i would usually be… so excited to go home but also ill miss some of my clothing babies so much (fur vest black leather jacket denim & red plaid mini skirts brown suede skirt all my dresses. to make a few) FUCK I LOVE CLOTHES AND FASHION AND STYLING OH MY GOD

Hello Femme, I love your content! I wanted to ask a fashion question if you answer those: What kind of top layer could you pair with a black puffer jacket, a long grey skirt or a long denim skirt in winter when it's really cold?
Have a great day!
Hi love! Thank you so much <3
I would wear a thin thermal turtleneck (the Uniqlo Heattech ones are great for the price) with a cashmere turtleneck sweater (Naadam/Everlane are great for the price), tucked in at the front with a belt at the top of the skirt to "hide" the line of the tucked-in sweater.
Hope this helps xx

Winter Office Wear for Women: Chic and Cozy Looks to Stay Stylish at Work
When the winter chill sets in, dressing for the office becomes all about striking the perfect balance between style, professionalism, and warmth. With the right wardrobe staples and layering techniques, you can create office-appropriate outfits that keep you cozy and fashionable. Here are some tips and ideas for mastering winter office wear for women in 2025.
1. Start with Chic Layers
Layering is the secret weapon of winter fashion. Start with a lightweight thermal or a fitted turtleneck as your base layer. Opt for neutral tones like beige, black, or white to ensure versatility with other pieces. Layer a tailored blazer or structured cardigan on top for a polished office look. For an extra touch of warmth, choose a wool or cashmere blazer.
2. Invest in Stylish Knitwear
Sweaters are a winter essential, but not all are office-friendly. Stick to sleek, fitted knits in solid colors or subtle patterns. A high-quality cashmere or merino wool sweater paired with tailored trousers or a pencil skirt creates a professional and cozy outfit. Turtleneck sweaters are a versatile option, exuding sophistication when tucked into high-waisted pants or skirts.
3. Add Tailored Outerwear
A tailored coat is a must-have for winter office wear. Classic options like a camel coat, a double-breasted wool coat, or a longline trench will elevate any outfit. Choose coats with clean lines and neutral colors that complement your work wardrobe. For extra warmth, look for coats with thermal lining or layer a chic scarf.
4. Bottoms That Work in the Cold
Swap out lightweight skirts and trousers for heavier fabrics like wool, tweed, or corduroy. Wide-leg trousers in winter-friendly materials paired with ankle boots create a polished look while keeping you warm. If you love skirts or dresses, layer them with fleece-lined tights or leggings for added insulation.
5. Footwear Matters
Winter footwear for the office should strike a balance between style and practicality. Leather ankle boots with block heels are a popular choice, offering both sophistication and stability on icy days. Knee-high boots are another chic option, especially when paired with midi skirts or dresses. Choose neutral colors like black, brown, or tan to ensure they pair well with your outfits.
6. Accessorize for Warmth and Style
Accessories can make or break a winter office look. Add a statement scarf, structured handbag, or sleek gloves to your ensemble. Wool or cashmere scarves not only keep you warm but also add a touch of elegance to your outfit. Avoid chunky knit scarves for office settings and stick to refined styles.
7. Professional Dresses for Winter
A long-sleeve midi dress in wool or jersey is a great winter office staple. Pair it with tights and a belt to define your waist. Neutral colors like gray, navy, or burgundy are ideal for creating a sophisticated and seasonally appropriate look.
8. Embrace Neutral and Dark Tones
Winter fashion tends to lean toward neutral and dark tones like black, navy, gray, and camel. These colors are not only timeless but also easy to mix and match. Add pops of color through your accessories or a statement piece like a bold blazer.
Final Touch: Confidence
No matter how well you dress, your confidence is what will truly make your winter office outfit shine. Choose pieces that make you feel comfortable and empowered, allowing you to focus on your work while looking effortlessly chic.
Stay warm and stylish this winter, and remember that a well-thought-out outfit can boost your productivity and mood at work!

Happy Wednesday, Ladies. As the chill sets in, there’s no better time to refresh your wardrobe with cozy, stylish, and functional pieces that will keep you warm no matter how low the temperature drops. Whether you’re layering up for a brisk walk in the city or bundling up for a winter getaway, there are a few cold-weather essentials you can’t go without. In today’s post, we’re diving into the best pieces of cold-weather clothing, from luxurious knitwear to the must-have overcoat that’ll elevate any outfit. Let’s make sure we stay warm while looking chic! Knitwear: The Ultimate Winter Layer When the temperatures drop, the first thing I reach for is a cozy knit sweater. Knitwear is the ultimate cold-weather essential because it’s so versatile. Whether you’re lounging at home or running errands, a well-chosen knit can elevate your look while keeping you comfortable in cold weather. Talbots has a great selection of sweaters, and our new favorite brand, Quince, has luxe cashmere options at affordable prices. Here’s why I love knitwear for winter: Soft and breathable: Cashmere, merino wool, and chunky knits provide warmth without feeling heavy or stuffy. Layering potential: A sweater is the perfect middle layer. Throw it under a coat for warmth or pair it with your favorite scarf for a stylish look. Variety of styles: From oversized, chunky sweaters to more tailored, fitted designs, there’s a knit for every occasion. I love turtlenecks for their extra warmth around the neck. High Rise Corduroy Vintage Slim Pants | Green Turtleneck | Green Driving Mocs | Gold Belt | Stack Bracelets | Gold Hoops Recreate the Outfit The Perfect Overcoat: Warmth with Style Let’s talk about overcoats—another key piece of cold-weather clothing. An overcoat not only keeps you warm but is also a fashion statement. It’s the outerwear piece that will tie your entire winter outfit together. I have been really impressed with the overcoats at Quince, they have all three of the styles I feature today. Here are a few overcoat styles to consider: Kate Spade Single Breasted Stand Collar Coat | Ann Taylor Sophia Pant | Ann Taylor Cashmere Ribbed Turtleneck Sweater | Marc Fisher Yale Chelsea Boots | Plaid Cozy Scarf Shop the Outfit When choosing an overcoat, remember to think about length. A mid-length coat is ideal for everyday wear, while a full-length coat offers extra warmth and can give off a more polished, refined vibe. Scarves and Accessories: Layering for Extra Warmth Cold-weather clothing isn’t just about outerwear and knitwear—it’s also about the accessories that can make or break an outfit. A cozy scarf is essential for keeping your neck warm while adding a pop of color or texture to your look. I love the versatility of scarves, especially during winter, because they can be styled in so many ways. Here are my favorite scarf options: • Chunky Knit Scarves: These are perfect for wrapping around your neck multiple times for maximum warmth. • Silk Scarves: For those crisp, chilly days when you want something lighter but still stylish, a silk scarf adds a luxurious touch to any outfit. Shop Scarves Other accessories, like gloves and hats, are key to completing the winter ensemble. I can’t recommend wool gloves enough—they provide warmth and durability while still looking chic. And don’t forget about hats—whether you opt for a classic beanie or a wool fedora, a good hat adds an extra layer of warmth and a touch of personality. Faux Shearling Jacket | Brixton Victoria Wool Felt Fedora | L.L.Bean Cotton Ribbed Turtleneck | Mango Cropped Skinny Trousers | Kelsi Dagger Brooklyn Loafers | Lee Radziwill Double Bag Recreate the Outfit Layering Pieces: Building a Winter Wardrobe One of the keys to surviving the cold in style is layering. Building your winter wardrobe with versatile layers allows you to add and remove pieces as needed while still looking polished. Check out Lands’ End for a great selection of layering tees. Here are some layering essentials: • Thermal Tops and Bottoms: Start with a lightweight base layer like a thermal shirt or leggings. These work wonders at keeping you warm without adding bulk. • Button-Down Shirts: Layering a button-down shirt under your sweater or overcoat adds a polished touch to your outfit while giving you the flexibility to adjust if things get too toasty indoors. • Vests: A down vest is a fantastic layering piece for the colder months. You can wear it under a coat or over a sweater for extra insulation without restricting your movement. Classic Fit Cashmere Sweater | White Button Up | Stovepipe Jeans | Quilted Puffer Vest | Leopard Print Flats Recreate the Outfit Let’s not forget about winter footwear. The right pair of boots will not only keep your feet warm but also ensure you’re able to walk safely on icy sidewalks. My favorite winter boots are those that have a sturdy, non-slip sole and a stylish design. Nordstrom is a great one-stop shop for cold-weather boots. • Chelsea Boots: For a sleek, minimalist look, leather Chelsea boots are a great choice. They work with everything from skinny jeans to dresses. • Knee-High Boots: If you’re in need of extra warmth, knee-high boots are perfect. Opt for a waterproof material to keep your feet dry on snowy or rainy days. • Faux Fur-Lined Boots: For those super cold days, faux fur-lined boots are not only functional but also super stylish. Closing Thoughts Winter doesn’t have to mean sacrificing style for warmth. With the right mix of knitwear, overcoats, scarves, and accessories, you can build a cold-weather wardrobe that’s as fashionable as it is functional. I always encourage experimenting with layers and textures, because that’s the secret to looking stylish while staying toasty. So, whether you’re strolling through the city, heading to a winter getaway, or simply running errands, I hope this guide helps you navigate the colder months in comfort and style.
