Ever since @lizaisdrawing mentioned Wallace being oblivious to the fact he was attractive for a long while, all I can think about is it's like those scenes in cartoons where a character is like, "I'm not that pretty am I?" then it's a shot like this.

Was this an excuse just so I could draw Wallace with his hair down, looking gorgeous as handsome as always? Teehee, yeah. I've been wanting to draw Wallace again for a bit but I was having one of those moments where I was doubting my art abilities to the point the thought of attempting to draw him gave me anxiety.

I persevered, however. So my self-doubt can go eat a fistful of eggs. Anyways bye I'll be haunting all of you again, later!

he'd mostly think it's endearing, part of Dell's silly charm. sort of like when you see a puppy

sometimes Dell uses it to get Spy' attention, or to make sure he's still with him and Spy sometimes uses it to make sure Dell doesn't impulse buy a set of power drills or a tablesaw

though, no matter how much spy thinks the tail is cute, he knows it was designed out a desperation.

things rarely go without complications when dealing with amputation and prostetics - things like phantom pain or conectivity issues and basically an every day issue Dell will be forever insecure about the fact he can't just engineer it all away, he definitely regrets cutting half his arm off.

so he designed the tail as a way to counter his weakness. but what if Dell doesn't just stop at the tail? what if he tries to mess with his anatomy further? what if he ends up doing something that irreversably destroys his body? sure he's an engineer, but not a medical proffesional.

what if the pain becomes unbearable for Dell though? what if further modifications are necessary for him to live in peace? will Dell know when to stop? Will Spy know when to draw the line? when to put his foot down?

what if Dell loses himself to the idea that he can elliminate all that is wrong with him with mods like this? what if this is just the beginning?

its actually all just because i read a fic (which i will have to try & find so i can link it abdjfjf) that had the hc that Lyf was a Jotun/Jötunn (the ice giants from norse mythology) & i thought that was the most galaxy brained take of all time & immediately went nuts with my own take on what that would look like! (combined with another fic i read where Lyf has a tail, which is also *chefs kiss*)

so basically theyr just another species that lives in midgard!! I realized later that making Loki a Jötunn or half Jötunn too would have been absolutely perfect but id already mostly finished coloring her & i was too committed…

Aaravos said that humans have taught him one lesson and that is the lesson of patience. I take it that in his opinion, Xadians (the Startouch, at least) don't know patience. And thus their impatience is a bad thing.

And then we hear Janai say, "We're going to rebuild, with patience". The Sun seed will take its sweet time to grow as well as it will take time for humans and elves to reconcile and learn to live together. Janai is willing to wait, to be patient. Heh, we can say she has learned the same lesson as Aaravos and it was Amaya (a human) in most part who helped her with it.

Karim... is short-sided and impatient. Which means- he will probably achieve a lot in the short run buuut in the long run he's doomed to fail.

The worst thing is that if the Pharos being Aaravos's puppet theory is correct, then Karim's impatience will only give the sparkly elf one more advantage.

When Tim Drake-Wayne stepped into that portal in the shut down government lab, he never really thought about dying from electricity would be the way he’d go. It had always seemed like it would be a rogue questing for revenge, or his investigations taking him where he shouldn’t be.

On second thought, it really looks like the second one of the list was coming true.

The last thing that crosses his mind as the agonized screaming(that couldn’t possibly be him, right? he doesn’t feel like screaming any more.(he feels like crying)) ends abruptly is that he really wishes he could have finished a few more mysteries with his family.

And then he woke up.

months later, when Tim starts obsessively digging into investigations with more vigor than he’s ever had, ripping through the pitiful attempts at hiding crimes or evidence, and even going as far as to dragging in the suspected perpetrators for extremely brutal ‘questioning’ even when their committing the crime isn’t certain, or the crime isn’t bad enough to warrant this behavior.

The newfound meta powers he uses to pursue whatever goal he’s aiming for are only the cherry on top of a heaping pile of problems. Tim is practically losing himself in his detective work, and nothing the bats do seems to help.

He’s obsessed.

(or- Halfa!Tim doesn’t have a protection Obsession. instead he’s Obsessed with investigating. And with no way of knowing what to do, all he can do is try and fulfill his Obsession. In any way possible.)
