thank you @kaazunes for the request! this was a tricky one to write because, for some of these guys, i can't imagine what they'd do to make the reader upset lol- so not all of it is them doing something intentionally, but the reader being hurt over the guys' circumstances. i tried not to make the reasons too same-y, lol. hope you enjoy!

jimmy bae / bae jihoon

⋆ He would never mean to make you cry, but Jihoon is a person who usually acts/speaks before he thinks. This would be one of those times

⋆ You can tell he's overwhelmed; whatever was happening with the Union has him anxious, every nervous tick of his on full display. To no avail, you keep prodding him to tell you what was wrong, with him repeatedly pushing you away

⋆ Fed up, he lashes out, telling you to stay out of it and leave him alone. “God, you’re so annoying,” he mumbles. You sink into yourself, salty tears pooling in your eyes

⋆ Once he notices, Jihoon immediately regrets his words. He grabs your hand and dries your tears with another, feeling like a complete dick (granted, he is one). It’s hard for him to apologize, since it does serious damage to his ego, but he pushes one out. He loves you too much to save his pride right now

⋆ “I’m sorry… You care about me, I know,” he assures, listening as you vent about everything that was weighing on you, and how you wished he’d offer you that same honesty. It shifts his perspective, as you often do; it’s what he likes most about you, because you change him in ways he never thought he could

⋆ After some more reassurance, the two of you work it out. You forgive him and cuddle up to watch a movie, not once letting each others’ hands go~

jake ji / ji hakho

⋆ Man, Hakho is such a good boyfriend that it’s almost impossible for him to make you cry. If you do, it’s probably when you're both crying, often over your guys’ favorite anime (one piece *cough cough*)

⋆ But you hadn't seen Hakho in days and were growing more and more worried. All your calls went to voicemail and your messages left on delivered. He'd do this sometimes when he was busy with Union affairs, but you were sick of it. So there you were, standing at his front door

⋆ When he comes out, his expression is defeated and the first words out of Hakho’s mouth are, “Why are you here?” He sounds disappointed to see you and it feels like a punch. Why are you here? Were you not supposed to care about him?!

⋆ You want to explode, until you notice the exhaustion on his face and realize you can’t. Instead, you break down crying, because you hate seeing him this way. You couldn’t understand why wouldn’t leave the Union when it was draining him so much, or why he'd constantly hide from you when things were rough

⋆ Hakho envelops you with his arms, burying your head in his shoulder. “I’m sorry, baby, I just… I can’t leave yet. I love you, but it’s not that easy.” You beg him to explain; he says there’s no point. Honestly, he wants to spare you knowing the more unsavory things he’s done, even if it wouldn’t change your love for him. "Next time I won't run from you."

⋆ Hakho comforts you until the tears subside and promises that he’ll leave soon. You know it’s just him consoling you, right now, but you'll keep hoping none-the-less

wolf keum / keum seongje

⋆ Seongje can be a prick, unintentionally or not. You know this, but his blunt attitude was what interested you in him and, at times, you loved it — until it bit you in the ass

⋆ You’ve dragged him to the mall for a shopping day. There was a family event coming up that you needed nice clothes for, and unfortunately nothing was working. Everything you’ve tried on fit wrong or washed your skin out. Seongje was no help, either, only shrugging or nodding to the outfits you’d showed him

⋆ Growing tired, you ask him to give a real opinion. He looks at you, “If I’m honest, it’s fuckin’ ugly.”

⋆ You frown and slink back into the dressing room, dejected, quickly changing back to your regular clothes. The whole walk home you barely speak, the words still spinning around your mind. Did he really think that of you?

⋆ Unable to take it any longer, your lips begin to quiver, tears brimming your eyes. Seongje notices and pulls you into an alleyway, a bit disoriented as he thought things were going great, and suddenly you’re crying in the middle of the street. He’s never been good with emotions or situations that required a lot of them, but he listens to you and tries to sympathize, wiping away your tears. It stings being confronted with the effect of his words on someone he cares deeply for, and watching you cry is the worst consequence

⋆ “Don’t cry, okay,” he says. “I didn’t realize I’d hurt you, sorry.” It’s easier to forgive when you see his pouty face, even though you want to stay upset. He’s still learning how to be less rough, but it's an honest effort; you'll give him some grace with that

⋆ He kisses your forehead and you kiss him back, giving up on shopping and deciding to visit the arcade instead (which was a lot more fun, anyways-)

⋆ If Sehan makes you cry, he cries too; and if you are crying, it's not typically his fault. Sehan is more normal than fellow Union leaders, so he's mindful of your emotions in a relationship

⋆ You were supposed to go on a date, but hours went by and it seemed like he was going to flake. You were confused as this wasn't like him at all, and it had you worried that something happened. When he didn't pick you up, you instead spent your night sobbing in bed. You'd thought that, though he's a delinquent, he would be different to you. But he stood you up and didn't have the decency to even send a text

⋆ Around 11, Sehan shows up and you promptly pull him inside to confront him. When the light hits his face, you gasp — it's covered in bruises, dried blood caked around his nose and the side of his head. His knuckles are battered, too, and your tears come creeping back in, dribbling down to your chin

⋆ Sehan jumps into boyfriend-mode, holding you tight regardless of how sore his body was. Making you cry hurt worse than all the punches he'd taken, especially when you cried because of him. He felt like shit; all he could do was apologize profusely and rub your back

⋆ "I wanted to come sooner, but... shit happened. I didn't want to ignore you, or have you see me like this," he whispers. "I'm sorry, I should've called." Sehan kisses your head and you melt into him. Even if you wanted to be mad, you couldn't

⋆ Once you've calmed down, you sit him in the bathroom to tend his wounds and plan out your next date, Sehan eager to make everything up to you

⋆ As much as he tries, Baekjin isn't always the most attentive. He's often caught up with overseeing the Union + his business endeavors, not giving him much time to really be there for you

⋆ The moments you get are brief so he tries giving you his full attention, but he gets distracted easily, even when you disapprove. This time you were out to eat, sitting in a restaurant way out of your budget, on one of the few dates you'd have. It was going perfect until he disappeared for 20 minutes to answer a call, leaving you all alone

⋆ You're let down, severely. When he returns, you're sullen, unsure if you should say anything. You don't want to feel this way, so you tell him you want his phone off the rest of the night. Baekjin lets out an annoyed sigh, "I can't, you know this. There's a too much going on with this Cheongang mess and I can't drop it."

⋆ It's a slap in the face. Your eyes sting, appetite wasted; you don't want to cry here, but you hate when he does this and now he's completely brushing it off. You can't fight the tears that come, and Baekjin's heart stops. "So is the Union more important than me?" you ask, his stomach tightening. Were you really this hurt over it? He didn't realize how serious it was to you and now he's regretting it

⋆ Baekjin reaches across the table for your hand, disappointed with himself. "No, it's not," he reassures, powering down his phone and shoving it in his pocket. "You are, so it's just you and me tonight. I love you." He kisses your hand and you soften at his touch

⋆ He spoils you the rest of the dinner, buying you all the dessert you want. He doesn't say it, but Baekjin feels relieved not having to worry about what was going on outside of your little bubble; all he needed was to see a smile on your face

kingsley kwan / kwan seokhyeon

⋆ You love Seokhyeon, truly, but you can get frustrated with him just as easily. If you tell him he's wrong, he'll do his best to change, however he isn't as perfect as he'd like to be

⋆ The one thing that comes between you is his loyalty to Baekjin. Sometimes you think he should date him instead, but that's you being petty. It's not uncommon for your plans to get cancelled because Baekjin needs him. While you try to not complain and see it from his POV, today you just can't

⋆ Seokhyeon is helping you prepare for your exams, as he's a lot smarter than you (and you like the time spent with him), until he gets a call from Baekjin. It seemingly lasts forever and once he hangs up, Seokhyeon tells you he has to leave. You frown; you've told him before not to do this. Not only that, he knew how badly you needed help on your exams, yet he's ditching you again

⋆ Your lips quiver as Seokhyeon packs his things. When he goes to say goodbye, he sees your watery eyes + red face and stops, frantically asking what's wrong. He knew you wanted to spend time together, but he thought you'd understand

⋆ You decide to let it out, how you feel second place to Baekjin and that Seokhyeon's relationship with him seems more important than the one he has with you. He drops his head in shame, knowing what you're saying is true — no matter the intention. Still, it stings to see you hurt over his actions

⋆ "You're right, I should be putting you first. I love you, there's nobody who matters more to me." You struggle to believe it, but he pulls you close and you allow yourself to try and accept it when he says, "I'm sorry."

⋆ Seokhyeon calls Baekjin and asks to see him later, cuddling up to you on the couch after. He kisses your cheek and pulls his textbooks back out, ready to help you pass your exams

weak hero post-canon headcanons: characters and their uni degrees!

been a while weak hero fandom i hope you're still surviving :o) just writing something quick in between studying... i wanted to write about what the main cast would do after graduating high school!

Gray: I feel like after everything, he would take a gap year to figure himself out and what he wants to do. He's a driven person, and intelligent but I feel hasn't found his life path. He would probably travel the world with Stephen and spend some quality time together. In the end I see Gray doing something related to psychology or social sciences.

Ben: CULINARY SCHOOL!!! The big guy loves food, and I head canon to be a great cook because of it. He loves making his friends happy and is there to protect and support them whenever, and food is such a great way to do it.

Alex: Professional dancer! He's got the moves ngl and I think it would be interesting for him to go down this route. I was thinking pro-boxer but I have a feeling Alex would want something more peaceful.

Gerard: Music school :D I want Gerard to pursue his passions and dreams and make it big in the music industry. Maybe start a new band, go solo or go into music production or management.

Teddy: Veterinary medicine. Given his affinity with cats and animals I thought it would make sense. He could intern at Eugene's aunt's clinic! It would be good for him to go from bully to saving animal lives. He's got a good heart at his core.

Rowan: Media studies / Film or acting school. He's got a flair for the dramatics and already runs a youtube channel. I'd see him studying media, content creation, social media or going down a film or acting route. He's got blockbuster potential!

Eugene: Mechanical engineering. This one is a no brainer, we've seen Eugene cook up some amazing light tech! He'd join a robot fighting club. Eugene has big potential to do awesome things and maybe become an inventor.

Weak Hero - Superpower/Magic AU

I wanted to imagine some of the Weak Hero characters with superpowers/magic! My first instinct was actually more like "super strength for Ben, etc" but then I thought to myself, "ok but Ben already has super strength, more or less". So I deliberately picked broader, more fantasy-esque powers, rather than something specific that's based off of what the character can already do. I just think it's really interesting to imagine if these characters had magical abilities in addition to—that complement—their existing fighting styles.

Gray Yeon - Illusion Creation

(insp. Tanizaki Jun'ichirou from Bungou Stray Dogs)

Gray would be an absolute beast with an illusion ability. I think it would play off of his unassuming appearance as well— illusionists are often underestimated in a fight, because they rely on trickery to win. Both the ability to conceal his location, and mentally intimidate his opponent would be at Gray's disposal. He can hide in plain sight, create clones of himself, and conjure terrifying imagery.

Ben Park - Earth Manipulation

(insp. Earthbenders from Avatar)

Ben is already associated with a lot of earthy motifs in the series, I think it would make sense for him to have the ability to pelt people with actual boulders, not just his fists that feel like boulders :). Moreover, he'd be able to defend his own body using rock walls, or upset his opponent(s) footing by shaking the ground beneath their feet. Also, it fits his personality too, he's straightforward/blunt, headstrong, maybe a little dumb as a rock, and he is also someone that other people relies on.

Gerard Jin - Plant Manipulation

(insp. Warrod Sequen from Fairy Tail)

This one is a bit obvious, maybe, but I do think it would be really cool. I think Gerard would be able to grow vines/branches to restrict his opponent's movement, as well as boost his own mobility. Also Gerard strikes me as a bit of a green thumb as well. I think this power would also suit him in the aspect that it's less combat-oriented/aggressive compared to the others. Gerard spends more of his time on his hobbies, than he does getting into fistfights, and the plant theme reflects that, Gerard with a lil' flower garden.

Jake Ji - Electricity Manipulation

(insp. Killua Zoldyck from Hunter x Hunter)

I honestly made this post just so I could share my "Jake with lightning magic" agenda. Particularly, with the added benefit of giving himself superspeed + reflexes, and just generally throwing thunderbolts around? I just think Jake would look really cool with this power, and it would complement his fighting style really well. It's fast and efficient, and maybe a little bit on the flashy side as well, which suits Jake as a person too.

Wolf Keum - Fire Manipulation

(insp. Suoh Mikoto from K-Project)

Initially, I had brainstormed Wolf as an unconventional healer, who uses his magic to heal his own injuries. Then, I thought that's pretty uninteresting, because he already kinda fights as if his injuries don't exist, and I wanted to pick something cool. Pyrokinesis is kinda self explanatory, and there's not much you can do with it in terms of using it creatively (as opposed to say, earth magic for defense, or lightning magic for superspeed). It's literally point, shoot, destroy— which is perfect for Wolf. Also it suits his personality: he's got a short, volatile temper, and a violent streak. Also I really wanted to make that Suoh Mikoto comparison.

Donald Na - Shadow Manipulation

(insp. Pride/Selim from Fullmetal Alchemist)

Donald being able to use darkness as a weapon is absolutely terrifying. I imagine him with tendrils of shadow that just creep out of nowhere and can choke the target, or stab/slice the target, or just be used to restrict an opponent's movement. Darkness manipulation is a super versatile power and I think Donald could make the most out of it. It also works perfectly with Donald being weak to bright light.

➤ gray was supposed to meet you at your house to study at 3, and you watch in agony as the clock ticks to 6. he was never late, and you wouldn’t have worried so much if not for your friend spam-texting you that the union is coming for your school

➤ there’s a knock on your door, but you’re limbs feeling like they’re prickling with sleep. you can’t stand from your spot on the floor no matter how hard you try

➤ thankfully for you, gray knows your lock code

➤ your vision is dotted with black spots, and when gray appears before you, part of you thinks he’s a hallucination

➤ “c-can’t.. breathe…” you manage to choke out, desperation clear in your voice

➤ “okay, sweetheart, it’s okay now. i’m here. you’re going to be okay.” he says in an extremely calm voice, carefully patting your hair down in an attempt to soothe you

➤ it works, and you can feel your pulse calming beneath your skin. you breathe, focusing solely on the feeling of his hand in your hair

➤ “i’ll stay with you tonight, okay? i’m not going anywhere.”

➤ you’d just gotten off the phone with your neighbor, and they told you that the mailman left your gate open, and your dog got loose

➤ you started to panic immediately, knowing your dog was still young and liked to slip out of his collar. sure enough, you found the fabric on the floor when returning home

➤ you searched until it was dark out, and then you searched some more. everyone you asked said they hadn't seen him, and your anxiety was reaching an all-time high

➤ after the failed search, you had enough sense to make your way to donald's apartment, hoping he might be able to help

➤ donald opened his arms for you the minute he saw your shaking self, and tried to soothe you as your tears stained his shirt

➤ “can you take a breath with me? that’s good, darling.”

➤ it took some more time in his arms for you to calm down enough to speak, and when you told him what happened, donald flashed you an assuring smile

➤ "my guys have gotten lazy. i'm sure they'll appreciate a good game of hide and seek."

➤ sure enough, your dog was returned to you, and you nearly cried with joy as donald hugged you again. "don't hesitate to come to my first next time, alright?"

➤ when ben finds you curled up in the school bathroom one evening, hunched in on yourself and struggling to breathe, his mind instantly goes to the worst scenarios

➤ he would cup your face in his hands and force you to keep your eyes on him as he breaths with you

➤ “when you’re ready, i want you to tell me what happened.”

➤ once you managed to catch your breath, you told ben all about how you failed a test and dropped nearly a dozen ranks. it shouldn’t have been a huge deal, but this could cost you your chance at a scholarship

➤ you could tell ben was trying to come up with comforting words, but he didn’t care for school as much as you do, so he wasn’t sure what to say to comfort you

➤ “okay, uh, are there retakes available? extra credit?” “no” “then… i’ll help you study for the next one!”

➤ you found yourself smiling, surprised at how quickly ben managed to cheer you up

➤ “are you sure? i know how much you hate this stuff…”

➤ “yeah, but you need me. we will study until our fingers fall off and you’ll get your perfect score. so please don’t worry, okay? i love you.”

➤ you never liked to appear weak in front of jake. it wasn’t that you were afraid, you just liked being his pillar. you didn’t want him to ever worry about you

➤ but when news broke about the war between the union and eunjang, you couldn't help it

➤ "jake?" you called, afraid to disturb him but very scared at how hard your heart was beating against your ribs. your stomach felt hollow and useless in your body

➤ he didn't look up, and you were about to leave when you accidentally knocked a bowl off of the counter. it shattered against the floor, and you dropped into a panicked crouch

➤ "don't move, are you o—" he saw your trembling hands and stopped. "y/n, are you okay?"

➤ "i'm sorry, i, it's just a bowl, i'm..." you didn't stop stuttering out nonsense until jake carefully took your hands in his before you accidentally hurt yourself

➤ "what's going on, lovely?" and you broke into sobs

➤ you fell forward into jake's chest and he wrapped his arms around you as you told him your concerns for his safety. "this isn't like the other fights, jake. you could get hurt. you could get killed."

➤ "that's not going to happen," he soothed gently, "you know that's not going to happen." but you didn't stop crying or trembling until you were out of the room and completely in your boyfriend's arms

➤ "y/n, listen. you're going to be fine. i'm going to be fine. so please, don't scare me like that again, okay? we're going to be fine."

➤ you’d just been told by your parents that you were moving across the country for your dad’s job

➤ since your bedroom is on the first floor, gerard has a habit of tapping on your window to visit. when you don’t answer your phone, he decides to go over

➤ he sees you sitting on your bed, back turned to him, and doesn’t think much of it until he hears your quiet sobs slipping between your fingers

➤ “y/n?” he called into the quiet, and you felt yourself break. “they’re taking me away from you, from everything! i can’t—i can’t—“

➤ gerard was by your side in seconds, taking you in his arms and pulling you tight against his chest

➤ “didn’t…” you gasped out, fingers digging into his biceps as you try to calm yourself. “didn’t.. wanna leave.. you,”

➤ “i know, honey, i know.” he kissed your head, letting his lips linger against your hair as you forced yourself to slow your sobs. “but i’m not going anywhere. not now, not ever.”

➤ there was no reason for you to panic, so you weren’t sure why you woke with your heart beating a million miles a second, your cheeks sticky with tears

➤ “no, i’m—“ you hit your chest with a flat hand, “panic attack.”

➤ honestly, wolf wasn’t quite sure what to do or how to treat a panic attack

➤ worried you might pass out, he squished your face between his hands to meet your eyes. “slow down.”

Ben would 100% be the type to accidentally confess to his crush. Would not know. Would not realize. His words go in and out of his own ears without a second thought. BUT, he would realize later on and frantically try to play it off.

Imagine big brother Eugene. powfehohgor plz... he'd be like the best older brother (at least in my mind). Need comfort for smth? Check. tried his best to understand you. Spilled smth that stains? Check. He's got you covered, already ran to the nearest drugstore or convenience store -- or maybe whatever what was in the house --and shows you a little hack he's learned one way or another. i think it’s a pretty common headcanon that whenever there is a spider, annabeth freaks the fuck out. which is super weird to most people, because she’s like… the bravest person ever. even if you don’t know she’s a demigod, she’s just a badass. but if there’s a spider, she’s screaming bloody murder and jumping up on tables and counters. and of course, percy always comes and kills it for her. no matter what he’s doing or where he is.

but i think what would be even weirder for people (who don’t know her extremely well) is how seriously percy takes it. i feel like girls being scared of spiders and having their male partners come kill it is such a basic ‘weak white girl’ stereotype. and it usually is funny, even to the one who’s scared. so when annabeth does this and starts screaming for percy, people would start laughing. naturally, right? haha it’s so funny that annabeth chase is so scared of bugs. and after percy runs in and takes care of it, they would expect him to be laughing too and poke fun at her.

except it’s the exact opposite. there’s nothing funny about his expression. his jaw is hard-set and his sea green eyes are full of nothing but concern. he does a thorough examination of the surrounding area, makes absolutely sure there aren’t others and gets rid of any webs, and then goes straight to her. and his first question, every single time, is “you okay?” nothing but concern and support. and if the legendary fearless annabeth chase needs her boyfriend/husband to carry her across the room, because she doesn’t want to step on the rug now, you know dam well he’s gonna carry her across the room without a second thought. and you’d better not laugh at her, or else percy’s gonna give you the most scolding glare you’ve ever received, and it’s gonna make your arm/neck hairs stick straight up and your blood turn to ice.

and it would take people off guard every single time. because he’s not laughing at her. he takes her fear completely seriously. and it’s because he knows about her past. he’s seen her face her worst horrors. he knows what happened with arachne.

he knows exactly why she’s so scared of spiders, and to him, there’s nothing funny about it.

You see it so many times in the books- Leo doesn’t think he’s as important as Jason or Percy because they’re your archetypal “Big Heroes” and Leo’s just the Lowly Mechanic, the Seventh Wheel, the Comedy Sidekick.

Calypso only reinforces that.

The fact that, in the end, when it comes down to Leo or Jason, Leo decides to take the prophecy into his own hands and end his life because ultimately it’s better the Repair Boy dies than someone who actually matters.

Calypso made Leo feel worthless. And Leo’s lack of self-worth (which I believe is his Fatal Flaw) is ultimately what drives his decision to sacrifice himself and save Jason.

he had a thin line in between destroying one thing or everything when it camed to you. if you're fine, then no one has to fear for anything. if you're okay, safe and healthy, no one has to panic.

but if it's the other way, than everyone should pray. even the non-believers. because jason grace can be scary and intimidating when he wants to. and he's so damn good at it.

jason's eyes we're nothing like before. it was like his own eyes had their storms and thunders. one part of you we're amazed, while the other got scared. you knew he wouldn't even touch you if it ever hurt you, but you we're scared for him. not from him. for him doing something he'll regret for the rest of his life in order to protect you.

but, jason seemed to not give a damn.

"you tiny little demigod! you have no chance against me, you don't even have a god next to you to kill me!" he yelled, leaving you dangling in the air again. you wanted to call jason's name, but your voice muffled through the lightning.

"i don't fucking need a god," jason hissed, taking position. "i'll send you tartarus myself."

it all happened quickly. jason was so fast, unlike the big giant trying to capture and kill him. he was like a lightning himself, moving in light speed. there was a blonde thing moving, and you couldn't understand if it was his hair or sword. also there was little lightning sparkles that helped you figure him better.

then, the next thing you knew, jason was on top of the beast's face. he quickly called a lightning before stabbing his sword into the giants eye. it growled, but didn't falled.

"this is what you take for hurting my girl. my loved ones." jason said, his free hand going up in the air. you thought he was gonna make the giant eat some lightning, but it didn't go that way.

"remember my name in tartarus," he flied up again, taking a large air with him. the beast suddenly started to choke, holding it's neck desperately. "and make sure your friends does too."

it was the last thing giant heard before falling down, his oxygen flying in the air and dissapearing. jason immediatly flied towards you, cutting your chainst and holding you by the waist before you fall.

"jason," you breathed out, crying. you couldn't believe what you just have witnesses, but you figured it was the best to not mention. you we're happy that you we're safe now, in his arms.

"baby," he panted, hugging you so tight. you guys slowly landed on the ground, jason still clinging on you. "thank gods you're alive."

"i got scared," you admitted. normally, you would rather die than admit someone you're scare. but it was your jason, who could you tell if you're not gonna tell him? "he was gonna- jason, he was gonna make me one of them."

"shh baby it's okay," he cupped your face, his own tears matching you. but he had a smile, a smile that appeared once you we're in his arms. "i'm here. no one's touching you ever again okay? i'm here." he gently wiped your tears away, kissing you after.

you relaxed the moment your lips met, but it wasn't very long until you both heard footsteps again. jason quickly picked you up in bridal style, flying away from the little crack of the cave.

later that day, you both layed together in his quarters at argo ii. everyone decided that they shouldn't ask questions, like they didn't asked percy and annabeth after they got back from the tartarus.

even coach hedge let you snuggle eachother, because he saw how hurt jason was. he needed you for his own sake, to stay sane.

jason was the child of storm after all, he knew how to be scary when he wanted to. he kept it all inside when you we're near and safe. but if something slightly happened to you, he knew how to show them real power.

After another fight against the Union, Ben walks home very injured. Of course, they had to be on his back about messing up their ‘plans’ when he didn’t even care about them before they hurt his friends.

So here he is, walking home late at night holding his arm to his chest. Ben would like to say he doesn’t regret fighting the Union since he can protect his friends. But he feels bad since it worries you. And you must have been very worried tonight as you waited outside his doorstep.

“(y/n)? What are you doing here?” he approaches you slowly but adverts his gaze as your attention shifts to his arm.

“Wh- are you okay? What happened?” you stand up from his porch and walk towards him. You sigh as you look at the glum expression on his face, “Come, let me clean your arm.”

Sitting him on the toilet seat, you open the first-aid kit in his bathroom. You rinse his wound with water and put an antibiotic cream before wrapping his arm with gauze.

“You do this a lot?” he asks, watching your careful movements.

“My siblings always get hurt.” you finish wrapping his arm and look at him, “What happened?”

He sighs and looks away. You gently cup his face and lift his head to look at you. At times like this, he hates how you can see right through him. He knows he can’t hide things from you so he takes a deep breath before speaking in a meek tone.

“It was the Union again. Really, I’m fine.”

“No, you’re not. This isn’t fine! I’m worried about you,” you glance at the scar on his other bicep. “I don’t want you to get hurt so much.”

He takes a deep breath. He knows you’re worried, if the roles were reversed he would be a lot more panicked than you are right now. Ben admires your ability to stay calm under pressure, but it seems like this is your last straw. He opens and closes his mouth for a moment as if the words got stuck in his throat before he begins to speak. “I know, but what am I supposed to do when these guys keep picking fights? It’s not like I want to get hurt.” He lets out an exasperated sigh.

You hold his hand comfortingly, “I know, Ben. I’m not blaming you. I’m just worried that eventually, it won’t be just a scratch that’s left… I just want you to be careful.” He looks into your eyes and rests his head on your shoulder. It’s as if all his worries disappeared into thin air as he relaxes into your touch.

“Okay, I’ll try.”

“Thank you.” You wrap your arms around his shoulder and hold him close. Sure, the Union is pissing him off to no end, but at least he has you.

Being one of the top students in class and a part of Ben’s gang, it wasn’t odd for you to tutor your friends. So when Gray suggests you study with him, you agree. Usually, he turns down your invitations as he goes to cram school or volunteers at the hospital so you were over the moon when he invited you this time. The only issue was, it had to be at your house.

You took a deep breath and braced for what was coming. You open the door and walk in. Leaving your shoes by the front and take in the eerie silence. “You can sit at the table, just give me one second.”

You walk to your sibling’s room and find your younger brother asleep. Your younger sister is giggling as she throws baby powder on his face and buries him in blankets and toys. “(s/n)! What are you doing?” you pull her away from your brother and sit her in the corner.

“I made an Elsa burrito..” She mumbles, pouting as you pack up the powder. You give her a stern look and she begins to clean up the mess she made. You shake awake your brother.

“(b/n) wake up, let’s clean you.” You carry him and some clothes out of the room and into the bathroom. Gray watches in curiosity as your head peeks out of the bathroom, “Sorry, I just need to wash him. You can start without me.”

Gray nods and opens his notebook. He glances up as the bedroom door opens and your sister tiptoes over to him. “Who are you? Her boyfriend?”

Gray’s eyes widen a bit at the question. “I’m a classmate.”

“Oh. Well, I’m (s/n).” She climbs onto a chair next to him. “If your work is hard you can ask me. I’m good at school.”

Gray has an amused look on his face, “Okay, well I’m Gray. And I need some help on this question right here.” He plays along with your sister’s antics, showing his notebook to her.

He glances at you and goes back to his work. Huh, it seems you’ve gained an admirer.

Gerard was walking in the hair aisle of some store, looking for gel when he heard an ear-piercing scream. He turned and saw a kid crying on the ground. His gaze travelled higher and he saw you standing with your head in your hand, pinching the bridge of your nose. He begins to walk toward you as he hears what the boy is crying over.

“I want the guitar! I wanna play guitar!” You sigh and lift the boy to his feet. Gerard approaches you and smiles at the boy. “Hey (y/n), you okay?”

“Huh? Oh! Yeah, uhm, my brother just really wants a guitar..” You feel embarrassed that Gerard had to see you like this. “He doesn’t even know how to play, so I don’t know where he got the idea from.”

“All my friends have one!” your brother says, cheeks pink and blotchy from his earlier crying.

“You don’t even know how to play!” you shut down his argument right away, not wanting to deal with it any longer. Gerard observes the behaviour and offers a solution.

“Uhm, I play guitar. So, I mean, I can teach him.. if he wants.” He says sheepishly, scratching his cheek.

Your eyes light up at his words, “Really? That would be great!”

“Yeah, then he can see if he likes playing or not.” He replies. Your brother stands up and jumps up and down. “Can I? Can I, can I?”

“…Okay, but only if you promise not to be a bother.” You place a hand on his head to stop him from jumping.

“I’m never a bother!” He glares at you.

“You were a bother a few minutes ago.” You retort, glaring back.

Gerard laughs at your antics and bids farewell. He smiles on his way back, glad he got an excuse to talk to you.

Alex sat on the park bench eating his ice cream. He came with Ben and his friends but they left him to get more food. You held your sister’s hand as she walked you to the park. You sit her on a swing and begin pushing her.

Ben and their friends arrive and they run around the park. He then decides to sit in the kids-sized swing, getting stuck. Alex walks over and tries to get him out but to no avail.

“Hi!” Your younger sister waves to them.

“Hi!” They smile and wave back. “Wait- Help!” The swing flips upside down and Ben is hanging from it.

“Dude! What the fu- uhm.. uh.. hell…” Alex exclaims, correcting himself as he remembers the child next to him.

“Uhm, are you okay?” You ask with concern etched on your features.

“My friend got stuck..” Alex mumbles, embarrassed on Ben’s behalf; because he didn’t care about how dumb he looked.

“Oh, just take his shoes off. I think that’ll help.” You notice his shoes are blocking his feet from coming free. Alex takes his friend's shoes off and Ben slides out of the swing with a thump. Your sister laughs as he hits the sand.

“Why didn’t you think of that before, ya moron!” Ben blames.

“You were the one who got stuck?!” Alex retorts. He blushes a bit as he faces you, “Thank you… uh..” He trails off.

“(y/n), and it’s no problem.” You smile.

Ben whacks his back and runs off, hollering whatever nonsense excuse he can think of. Alex quickly runs after him. Eventually, they make their way back to their homes.

“So… you thought she was cute, huh?” Ben asks, teasingly wriggling his eyebrows; he could read Alex like a book, they have been friends since elementary after all.

weak hero undergrad uni headcanons part 2: union edition

doing this instead of actual uni work lets goooooo! and without further ado...

Jake: medicine/healthcare. i feel like he would become a doctor so he could heal people like his brother. I find it very sweet, like "i'll become a doctor so i can help you get better!" and it would be a nice conclusion to his character arc cos jake struggles with his bloodlust and capacity for violence. turning his energy towards healing would be good for him.

Dean: hotel management. this is because i watched too much hotel del luna and thought it would be funny. dean number 1 hotelier! he's protective over his friends... so being in the hospitality sector isnt too far of a stretch

Timothy: computer science/business analytics. he's really good with data and scouring the internet for info. He could put his skills to good use in the IT sector. alternate path is secret service spy agent...

Eunchan: ngl he'd skip uni and go be a streamer or something but if he HAD to pursue higher education... he'd go to a trade school i think! he seems like a hands-on typa guy.

Jimmy: business. look at him. his inferiority complex ass (affectionate). yeah I think his ambition will take him far with a business degree. jimmy bae ceo of loser inc. (sorry jimmy stans)

Wolf: jewellery design/metalworking. look hear me out on this one... wolfie loves his bling bling, and once he goes to therapy for anger issues, i think he would like working with jewels and gold/silver accessories. he needs a hobby.

Hwangmo: education/ early childhood education/psychology. ok HEAR ME OUT TRUST!!! hwangmo has been dealing with wolf (glorified manchild) for YEARS. and he seems like such a softie once you get past the harsh exterior (bro can befriend anyone). i think it would be really cute if he became a school teacher or therapist since he's good with people and mediating.

Dongha: cosmetology/hairdressing! dude look at those luscious locks tell me he's not gonna save people's haircuts. he'd specialise in high fashion/experimental hairdos, i see him being a stylist for fashion models.

seongmok: honestly... dude would join the military. or if not he'd study communications. which is ironic because he barely speaks.

i was thinking about something recently and man, i was like god i am so dumb because it JUST dawned on me. Sieun doesn't like when anyone touches him. He pulls away from yeong-i when she grabs him, and he pulls away when his dad touches his face. he just doesn't want to be touched. but he willingly grabs suho's hand. he lets suho adjust his clothes, check his hand after the fight. He lets suho touch him so easily. esp when he asked about fighting and suho touches his chin to tilt it down. this is a complete swap to the sieun that we had seen early in the show AND with any one else. so what does this mean? they are boyfriends. thank you for listening.

Everyone knows that Hizashi has to feed his husband. Shouta CAN cook but finds it too much effort, so he prefers the jelly meal replacements. I HC that (similar to Nedzu) Hizashi has a need to make sure that the people he loves get fed because growing up, he had food issues. Muzzled as a kid in foster care, he didn't have easy access to food, and therefore food became a form of love affirmation. It's why he gives Izuku and Hitoshi snacks whenever he sees them in the halls.

What most don't know is that what Hizashi is with food Shouta is with sleep. His husband works three full jobs, volunteers, and has a slue of commissioned design work he does under a pseudonym. The man is busy with a capital B. Often, Shouta has to force the blond to sleep. Which he does with love, because sleep is a form of trust and safety. This is also why Shouta will not wake up a student that falls asleep in his class. He was once a scared foster kid that could only sleep where he felt safe. It's also a bad kept secret that Shouta will stay up to lul students back to sleep after nightmares.
