Illustrated some favorite moments from my friend and I's (Hum) Megastar roleplay (I'm absolutely not holding him hostage for this). I took the burden off his shoulders of playing the role of a crazy old man (because I'm a crazy old man too). So now I stare at him every day, waiting for the continuation of this slowburn romance :]

A short context of each picture in their chronological order in rp

Starscream went into hysterics and Megatron gave him his handkerchief (bro now keeps it as a treasure and didn't even wipe off his mascara)

The old man's blood pressure has risen and he's bleeding, so his assistant wipes his face in a completely heterosexual manner

Megatron is about to do another thing that will most likely kill him and Starscream tries to stop him (unsuccessfully)

Thank God he didn't go to a dangerous place to die

Now they are both in a dangerous place to die (but it's also a homosexual moment)

I think it's good that Shelly hooked up with that professor woman. Shelly's been having sex with a lot of random men, but she's been terrified of her relationship with Bambi. It's the early 1970s and she's realizing she's queer later in life, which is understandably scary.

She also has genuine feelings for Bambi which she doesn't have for this woman or any of the random men she's been hooking up with, but ultimately, I think it's good for Shelly to treat sex with a woman the way she treats sex with men. It'll normalize it for her, and I think it's an important step for her to grow as a person. Once she comes to terms with her queerness and normalizes it, she can address her feelings for Bambi and figure out what she wants from that relationship.

Totally agree with you regarding how Roy and Keeley reunited. I adore the pairing and I am also a huge Roy/Jaime shipper, but see Roy there putting on Keeley's robe actually made my heart sink because I was like, she's talking about not getting back together with an ex and yet there he is. It didn't feel earned, I didn't think Keeley was healed from the trauma of Jack yet, and Roy still has plenty more growing to do, hell, him, Keeley, and Jaime still have growing to do. It's just not sitting right with me

Yes. I think it's largely because the pacing is so completely wonky this season and we've gone from certain arcs being drawn out for wayyy too long in the first half of the season to a rapid pace "okay boys time to wrap things up!" speed-run attempt at growth and resolution for allll the characters in this large ensemble cast in the last four-ish episodes of the whole show, lol.

From the first 3 or so episodes onwards this season I've wished we had a planned fourth season all along, and I'm still mourning it, frankly. An extra season and better pacing and we could have had it all....
