💪🏼💪🏿💪🏾 Be Strong. Feel Strong. Remember that you are Strong! Dear heart, do you know how strong you are? Let me remind you that you’re still standing. That takes a hella lot of strength after the last few years. This new session we’re focusing on the word Strong. What does it mean to you? Close your eyes and breathe. Say the word out loud to yourself. Over and over. Keep saying it till is sounds funny on your tongue. Breathe. What it means to you today and what it will mean to you in 2 or 4 weeks will shift and change. Enjoy the process of discovery today. I made some fun changes. I’m offering fewer classes because i know that you’re busy. I know that it’s family vacation time and back to school time. However, we’re going back to 75 minute classes for our evening classes. These are also our hybrid classes. You’ll enjoy more space and time in poses. AND you’ll get strong with more core work, more movement for strong and mobile joints and you’ll build more muscle with movement in our poses. Movement in poses? What does that mean? It means you’ll bring your arms to your ears in trikonasana (triangle) on the exhale and open them wide again on the inhale. You’ll play around with Warrior 3 (first pic (virabhadrasana )) lifting the leg higher or lower, playing with those square hips and moving into standing splits. You’ll practice Ardha Chandrasana (half moon pose (second pic)) against the wall to feel that yummy aligned pose and then move to the middle of the room to recreate the feeling. Getting strong is fun and you’ll do it without even realizing you’re working on it. Except that I’ll keep cheering you on and reminding you how strong you are! I hope that you’ll join us for this fun and transformative session.
