glenn is incredibly good at hiding and stuffing down his emotions, to a degree that half of the audience of this podcast doesn't even realize he had a character arc, but if you pay attention enough its pretty clear that glenn is hanging on by a single thread and that thread is the pure want for revenge, which makes so much sense with his character in general, and with how erratic and more chaotic he gets post-prison

They thought it would be awkward to keep in touch after breaking things off so they just stayed away ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

He did briefly contact her after he heard of the whole 'sentenced to death' thing to make sure she was ok, and she told him it was all fine now, but that was pretty much the last time they spoke to each other until now.

We found out from Shoko's pov interlude that Satoru had essentially been jealous since way back when, and you know he still has a few hang ups regarding the only person that has ever been called 'Yura's boyfriend' lmao. Expect some possessiveness, but in a very Satoru way (like intruding on her and her ex's conversation, invading her personal space when her ex is around, and just generally being Extra Annoying), and also some eventual pouting and sulking around that's just going to confuse Yura, because she's a little clueless.

Thaumcraft thoughts again but this time I'm thinking gameplay rather than lore. Comparing 4 and 6.

To start off, 6 is obviously unfinished. This alone means in a comparison w/ no addons 4 wins without a doubt.

Still, even without addons there are interesting points to make here based on what we saw in thaumcraft 6 and what we might have seen if azanor didn't fall down a well or whatever.

Fundamentals: The first tab of the 'nomicon is far more straightforward, and much less likely to give a new player an aneurysm as soon as they open the book. The only part of this I dislike is how long it takes to get to golemancy. The research system is explained on this tab, but we'll save that for last.

Auromancy: Auromancy in 6 is far more fleshed out than in 4. Plus, I personally prefer the casting gauntlet to wands. It feels much more thaumcraft, and less fairy tale magic. You're using your gauntlet to force the world to your desires. It's badass. And the modular focus system allows you to accomplish so much more. The excavate focus in 4 is a joke. It's slow, the range isn't great and it doesn't do enchants. It makes you feel sad and wet and pathetic. In 6, you make a plan silk touch excavate lvl 2 focus and you tear out 5x5 blocks of raw stone. You feel like a thaumic god, shaping the world to your desire. Is it balanced? Absolutely not. Having auromancy draw from the chunk-based vis system is hilariously broken. Vis cost doesnt matter because you move 8 blocks over and all your magic is back. But so much in thaumcraft is underpowered for the required time and effort compared to other mods, that it's nice to feel powerful for once. Ofc its limited by the small amount of effects in base tc6, but we're going to discount that for fairness.

Golemancy: The tc6 (and possibly 5? idk I never played that version) version of this mechanic is much more useful and interesting. Making golems is a pain in the ass now but theres so much more depth with the customization system. And not having to make a new golem for each task in your process makes life much easier. Though it must be said with how cheap golems were in 4 you could get a golem-based farm up and running much faster. It suffers in some areas, combat golems being pretty much useless except as bodyguards, in which case they try their best ig.

Artifice: The new arcane bore is slightly less expensive and clunky, but it's still ass. Splitting artifice and infusion was an excellent decision. The vis generator is a great addition, though it feels simultaneously underpowered and overpowered - it's basically free, but the generation is so bad you need a few to get the same power as an IE windmill and you'll burn through the aura eventually.

Infusion: Again, splitting this into it's own category is common sense. There are a few interesting new things in this tab: the verdant charms, especially the feeding one, are excellent QOL. The stabilizers and upgrades are good too, but I dislike having to purposefully destabilize an infusion to unlock the research, especially as its essential for what little endgame there is in base. I think the eldritch and void stone altars are new in this version, but they're unobtainable in base.

Alchemy: Tubes work better now. It's a fun time. The transducers are better tho, and can easily trivialize essentia organisation. Hedge alchemy I think is also new, and it adds some nice utility. Aversio is a nicer name than telum and no one liked Arbor anyway.

The Eldritch: Lol. Lmao.

And finally, Research:

WHAT DO YOU MEAN I HAVE TO STOP RESEARCHING TO GO MAKE A DAYLIGHT SENSOR? OR GET A PHIAL OF AN ASPECT ONLY FOUND IN SHOES? OR WAIT FOR A SPECIFIC PHASE OF THE GODDAMN MOON?? WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH WHAT IM ACTUALLY RESEARCHING?

It's somehow simpler and infinitely more tedious than the tc4 mechanic. At least that was a minigame, albeit a tedious, frustrating game that required multiple thaumonomicon dives (or, yk, an online tool). It also doesn't make sense. Nothing I'm doing here relates to what I'm trying to learn. In 4, the research pattern often had fun nods to what you were actually doing, like having Venenum in a research about poison, or linking all the primals for a late game research. Celestial observations suck. I sleep at night I'm not gonna grab my scribing tools and paper to scribble a drawing of the moon. MC Eternal lets you buy curiosities, which just makes everything so much nicer.

Moving on.

In terms of things I would have liked to not be left behind in 4, firstly I'd like my goddamn outer lands please. Also centivis, but without nodes it really wouldn't make sense. Tbh the whole chunk based aura system is a bit meh, it breaks a lot though it is convenient.

I was going to discuss addons in this post but this is already really long and I'm tired so I'll save that for another day.

Komori - she constantly tries to dress you up in cute clothes that 'match your personality' but it somehow makes you scarier.

Shiozaki - she would honestly be a little intimated at first but once she gets to know you and relizes you were nothing like she thought she would pray for forgiveness lmao

Shishida - he was honestly a tad intimated when he first met you but now that he knows your personality he finds your contradictory looks to be kinda funny

Shoda - poor dude is already shy and a bit scared of interacting with people so he nearly jumped out of his skin when you went up to him to say hi for the first time. Over time he eventually found you to be a very calming presence for him

Pony - like komori, she tries to dress you up to make you look more like your personality and you both get a kick out of it. (Imagine your worst nightmare dressed as a cat maid lmao)

Tsubaraba - he honestly finds it hilarious and he jokes about it a lot (all light hearted jokes obviously)

Tetsutetsu - he finds your 'scary' appearance to be manly and cool asf. He constantly asks you to work out with him because you could look even cooler if you looked like you could beat the shit out of a bear :D - his words not mine

Tokage - when she first met you she almost got whiplash from how different your personality and looks are. She finds you to be cool asf tho (even tho she was a bit intimated at first)

Manga - he draws you two different ways. Way one is almost like the scary (but badass) and ominous villain at the end of a video game, the other way is like all the things nice in the world were blended into that drawing and somehow they are both correct.

Honenuki - he honestly adores it. Theres been once or twice in his life where hes been told he looks scary so he is kinda the same way lol

Bondo - he was scared of you at first, not because of your appearance but because of your personality. Hes one of the more quiet and shy members of the class so hes allways a tad nervous when meeting someone so energetic. (You both eventually became good friends tho)

Monoma - he teases the shit out of you but at the same time hes very wary around you. He doesnt want to piss off someone scary (especially if their in the better class)

Reiko - she thinks you look cool asf and she loves spending time with you. No metter how long she has known you tho, she will be caught off guard by your personality

Rin - he was a bit intimated at first but over time, once he got to know you, the two of you became good friends and he even forgot that he was ever scared of you to begin with

Played the Call of Duty Cold War campaign yesterday. I thought the gameplay was pretty fun, I definitely enjoyed it. The story left a LOT to be desired. Opens with such overt jingoistic American exceptionalism that it is nauseating. "You are Americans! You have rules!" "Rules changed when you took hostages 😎". Yucky! The constant reference to the U.S. and Europe as "the free world" is just cringy to me, but not wrong for the historical context. I also find the fact you can be nonbinary hilarious. Reagan using they/them pronouns?????? Come on.

Spoilers after this. It's a 4 year old CoD tho so I doubt you care.

The game does get some interest and credit from me when it is revealed that the U.S. planted nukes across Europe in case of a Soviet invasion that would kill locals but preserve infrastructure for recapture. So now it's very obvious the U.S. are bad guys, which I appreciate and dampens the rough jingoistic start. But still, it doesn't condemn it enough. Your goal is to prevent a rogue Soviet group from detonating the nukes and blaming it on the U.S., with the primary issue seemingly being that the U.S. will be the ones found guilty. Not the millions of deaths.

Now, of course, it's Black Ops, so surprise, protag is mind controlled. Who could've guessed. Whatever. What bothered me is how they fail to follow up on this. There is a really cool section where you can resist the mind control, but it doesn't lead to anything interesting. After this, you end up at a branching path (though one requires you to find a secret code which I never even knew I needed so I was locked out) where you can continue to help the Americans or you can join the rogue Soviets and nuke Europe. Okay. Well that's stupid. Obviously I don't want to nuke Europe, but I don't want to help these American bastards either, they brainwashed me! Anyway. I choose to help the Americans, hoping that once you stop the nuke, maybe you get to then turn on your allies and have some cool moment where you did the right thing but still stand up for yourself and resist the CIA. But nope. Your leader pulls a gun to kill you, you pull your gun, pretty cool visual, then screen goes black. What?

I wanted an ending where you resist the CIA and fight back, but I at least wanted to see how their duel plays out. If I could die watching the guy who screwed me over dying, it would at least be kinda poetic. Fucking HATE unclear endings with a sudden cut to black. Anyway then Reagan hears that we stopped the rogue soviets and that they were acting without Soviet approval and he's like "wow, maybe we aren't so different as people after all!" Okay.

Anyway. Jingoist garbage, even though it has more nuance than most would assume. It fails to deliver on that nuance. Which is expected. It's fucking CoD. I'm reviewing CoD. Obviously it was stupid and jingoist. It's CoD.

I was /not/ here for the early days of the coma buck theory, I'm curious what bits of foreshadowing people were clocking, or what bts stuff was tipping people off? Also, have they ever before hidden someone being in serious danger right until the episode airs? Like, we saw plenty of clips/stills/bts that told us someone was getting hit by lightning and that it was probably Buck. I assumed they always showed these things in promos and sneak peeks

for the coma theory, I believe its @loveyourownsmiilee who clocked all the clues first and she also did it early on in 6A which is what's really insane about how fast the fandom came up with the coma theory (I remember in one of the post-ep interviews for 6A the interviewer asked kristen what she thought about the fan theory that buck was gonna end up in a coma and she was like "...no comment" which I found beyond hilarious). but yeah coma buck started because juju and the others noticed oliver's absence in bts during filming and then the bts of him wearing the coma dream outfit which looked super out of character and the other bts of him wearing his recovery outfit and being scruffed, which I believe was the main part of it.

as for the if they hide someone being in serious danger I mean I've only been watching live and in the fandom since the post 5B hiatus so my only experience is with karen and then buck but they definitely didn't try to hide it during those times once it came to promoting the episode. I believe I heard we also knew Eddie was gonna be shot but that could be wrong cause I also heard the shooting scene caught almost everybody off-guard. considering the absolute lack of promo for these last couple episodes tho I wouldn't be surprised if we didn't know about someone (cough christopher cough) being in serious danger.

I can't get a rest, not even during Christmas Eve can't I?

First of all, happy holidays! I hope everyone who reads this blog has a merry Christmas!

I'm sorry to be talking about this during the holidays but it is what it is, although I ran out of those a long time ago. But I came to inform you about a situation I got in approximately two days ago, while I was walking around my neighborhood.

I was preparing for a bday party and, in the middle of the street, I found a military stand, I wasn't specifically in a rush so I decided to sneak in and see what could be wandering around that place and oh boy we did find something.

Almost as soon as we got into the system, Herissmon jumped to see what could be there, she has a very hyperactive personality so she started bouncing around the place, I let her do that because Canoweissmon was taking care of her, so she was pretty safe after some time of not finding anything, I decided to get out, however, we got attacked by an old friend, the Tobiumon guy, who at this point doesn't have a Tobiumon anymore, but a Regalecusmon, an Ultimate level, aquatic type, Virus attribute Digimon. He attacked from the back using Regalecusmon's Reactor Discharge, an attack that blows everything away within a mile radius, the blast sent my Digimon flying, so i sent out Regulusmon to help and backed up Herissmon so she wouldn't get hurt, both Regulus and Canoweissmon began attacking, however, Regalecusmon somehow got to avoid the attacks, and then, they started showing their strategy, the Tobiumon guy, who at this point will get the nickname "Ocean Man" (I'm hilarious) deployed his other digimon, Cthyllamon, an ultimate level, fairy type and Virus attribute digimon similar to a MarinAngemon that has fallen into the darkness. Once it came out, it used its special move "Ocean Hell" a move that creates a domain akin to the depths of the sea and stills the fighting spirit of those affected by it, and thus, Canoweissmon and Regulusmon had trouble keeping up with the fight, not only due to the effects of the Ocean Hell, but thanks to the pressure that was being applied to their bodies. When a space like this is created, it simulates the conditions that said would have in the Digital World, considering this, they were basically divers with basic to no protection in the middle of the oceanic depths, Regalecusmon took this chance to use its Briona Strike to attack, Regalecusmon is considered the current apex of the marine food chain of the Digital World, and it was showing us why.

Canoweissmon and Regulusmon are used to fight in the air, not in the middle of the sea, and their bodies were suffering from extreme damage, I didn't have (and still I don't have) any aquatic digimon to cope with the situation, but then I thought about something, maybe overheating the area would help us either get rid of the Ocean Hell or escape, but when I ordered Canoweissmon to start recharging for the Gran Nova, Cthyllamon's mouth tendrils trapped him with the Buccal Rush, so I had only one option, I retrieved Regulusmon, and sent out Herissmon, why you ask? Because she could use her Lighting Fur to shoot her quills to Cthyllamon's tendrils and make it flinch, so Canoweissmon could attack, however, this didn't go as intended.

Even tho Herissmon did some damage to Cthyllamon's tendrils, she's still a Child, so Cthyllamon easily got rid of her by just using another tendril to throw her at Canoweissmon, I gotta be thanked because it wasn't Regalecusmon who at this point was too sure of its win to take care of anything, so I thought of something... Helloogarmon's flames.

It's only presence would boil the whole place down, so I took the risk and sent him out. He was confused at first, but easily got what was going on and ATTENDED MY ORDER to use the Howling Burst, that burnt the Ocean Hell and damaged almost everyone, including himself, once the space was free of any water that could be used against us, Herissmon got on top of Helloogarmon's head, and they both charged against the two marine digimon while I was treating Canoweissmon and with a combination of Helloogarmon's magical flames and Herissmon being used as a basketball to take advantage of its electricity imbued quills, Regalecusmon and Cthyllamon fell unconscious.

The Ocean Man disconnected out of shame and I searched among the files that were inside the military stand, it appears to be a database of Digital weapons, such as the Dramon Killers and the Brave Shield used by Wargreymon or the Móralltach and Beagalltach, the swords wielded by Diarbbitmon.

They were probably stealing these things to equip their Sealsdramon and others with them, they're also probably stolen. Oh, and here's something interesting, Helloogarmon was sniffing through the equipment and found something pretty interesting, a wrench looking mace called the "Vánagandr" he apparently liked it a lot so I let him keep it, from what I got to see, the Vánagandr is a mace used by Soloogarmon, another one of Loogamon's evolutions, during my free time in the holidays, I'll investigate on how to use this to help Helloogarmon Slide Evolve into Soloogarmon, I'll get to what exactly Slide Evolution is once I finish my research, but know that probably the results will be amazing.

Remember the time when some girl catfished colby? I heard that the “catfish” was all the time the real girl that colby stood up for? I know this drama is old, but im still confused to this day💀.. like why did she do that

that whole situation is very weird and messy and we never got the full story of what transpired/the full truth.

so this is what i heard. idk how much of it is completely true, so if others heard differently let me know lol

this became really long so sorry if you don't want to read a novel.

there was this account named brocksbaby and she would post pictures of herself along with edits of snc and the friend group back in 2019. she became really popular, had her own fans (so to speak), and in general was really known in the fandom. she also had another account named alexsdead.

one day, colby commented on her pic saying “you can’t be real 😱” and then later on answered a dm of hers saying something like “please don’t be a catfish. ok? ok."

after this point, they started to dm back and forth, and eventually moved their convos to snapchat. around this time colby made it known to her and the fandom et large that his dms were broken, and that’s why he wanted to move his convo with her over there.

so the thing is… colby claims he had a suspicious feeling that she was a catfish from the get go, hence the comment. and brocksbaby at the time had this one friend, named sam funny enough, that she was sharing all of these dms to. colby said in his video that he wasn’t really talking to her all that much, just every once and a while. and the dms that sam saw and then gave back to colby once the account was deleted kinda show that yeah he wasn’t talking to her all that much, but he was talking to her regardless.

but it never went above a pg convo, so don’t go crazy yall lol

now, there were other fans in the fandom that felt that she was a catfish and really made it be known that she was. hilariously one of them was godcolby - which if you know your snc lore…. she was equally as crazy in her own way. what ended up happening is that bc brocksbaby had more followers, she came out and said how upsetting it was that these ppl were spreading lies about her. so all of her “fans” went after this group of other fans and sent them nasty messages, death threats, the whole nine yards.

how did it all come crashing down?

well somehow, one of the fans that didn’t like brocksbaby happened to randomly find Alex, as in actual Alex, not brocksbaby. they dmed her, asked her if she knew about this account, and Alex said she didn’t, and that apparently ppl had used her pics to catfish before.

so….. i gotta be honest with you, i find that statement very hard to believe. Alex was not an influencer at the time. she was a random girl who had roughly 1k followers on insta. she had a normal job and everything. she sort of became an influencer after this whole thing, but i’m getting ahead of myself.

so Alex reaches out to colby and tells him that that’s not her, and she apologizes for this accounts behalf (…even tho the account didn’t do anything?). all the fan accounts that didn’t like brocksbaby start going crazy, posting how brocksbaby is a catfish, she’s a liar, ect ect.

sam, the friend she had, finds out. and i was relatively friendly with her at the time. she started going live every day after this occurred. she was really heartbroken bc she told brocksbaby all of this stuff about her life, and she thought they were best friends, so of course when she found out she wasn’t who she thought she was, she felt betrayed.

i was watching her live stream when she said “you know, i have all of the ss she sent me of their convos. i’m gonna send them to colby.” and that’s how he was able to make his videos, bc once brocksbaby got backlash, she deleted her account. and sam stepped in and sent him everything she had.

and it was claimed that brocksbaby was actually a 16ish year old girl and not the 21 year old she portrayed.

so… how does all of this get turned on Alex?

colby made his first video and she EXPLODED in followers basically overnight. i’m talking going from 1k to 10k in like 24 hours. it was nuts. also ngl… i don’t get why so many fans followed her since like i mentioned (and like she said in one of his vids) she was just a normal girl and not an influencer.

she ended up doing a bunch of lives during that time, and eventually her and sam talked. and at first their convos were nice, with Alex trying to smooth everything over. but something went awry, and i’m not sure what happened for that to take place, but then all of sudden Alex was being extremely rude to sam. and mind you, sam is 17, maybe 18? and Alex is 21/22. so Alex should have known better not to bad mouth a minor. plus, it was very odd for her to all of sudden go from being really friendly to all the fans to turning on a random one. and this eventually bled into her being really mean and snarky to a lot of fans.

now granted, it's possible that fans were giving her slack and she just... didn't know how to handle that. but it's not like a gun is being held to your head, telling you to interact with fans. you don't have to. if i got an influx of ppl paying attention to me, i probably would remove myself entirely from the situation for a while. but i digress.

at some point during all of this, sam makes the joke "omg what if Alex IS brocksbaby. that would be so funny, but there's no way." bc according to sam, she "saw" what brocksbaby looked like, aka a 16 year old girl.

so..... like i mentioned earlier, brocksbaby had a second account that she surprisingly was still active on (that's what sam said, which is why i'm telling you this). i think the account was private at this point. i remember sam came on her live stream, reeling, saying that she found out that brocksbaby and Alex are the SAME PERSON bc of this account. according to her, or what i remember taking place, someone got alexsdead to click a link that saved their ip address, then did the same to Alex and ALLEDGEDLY it was the same ip address.

ngl, i think this is technically illegal, but you know what? i'm not gonna try to argue about old drama lol

sam tells everyone on her live, i think she might have showed it too but idk at this point in time, and then everyone started going crazy at Alex, calling her a fake, a liar, ect.

Alex tried to defend herself, saying that that wasn't her. she even tried to show her own ip address just to prove it wasn't the same one. but no one cared to listen. and she got pissed that colby wasn't standing up for her against his fans.

idk what she expected from a man that just found out she existed all of two seconds ago but... okay.

i also forgot to mention colby also replied to an email of sam's basically letting her know that he heard what Alex was doing, apologized on her behalf, and told sam to block Alex if she continued to be rude to her.

Alex at the time also gained a following on twitter, and that's where most of her hatefulness went rampant. her fans were fighting with snc fans for a long time, they tried cancelling colby for nonsense shit that just didn't happen. the last time i heard about her, she called snc pervs or something bc they posted that picture of them with jake and corey at the la house with their asses out and said "you guys have such young fans, this is gross", all while promoting her only fans so...... pot meet kettle lol

now, all of this is to say, was Alex actually brocksbaby?

i'm not entirely sure, but i also think she was. think of it this way, even if you take out the whole idea that their ip addresses matched, which to me feels so far fetched anyway, Alex wasn't a known influencer before all of this shit. the likelihood that one of her 1k followers was ALSO a snc fan that felt the need to catfish as her is slim. not to mention, colby talked about in his video how he would ask her to send a video of her waving or giving a thumbs up or whatever, and she would be able to do that sometimes. and that to me is a bit confusing. bc unless this catfish literally had EVERY piece of media Alex ever made saved and ready to repost on snapchat, how the fuck would she be able to, on a dime, send him what he was requesting to see if she was real? either a, this was a person that knew Alex (like a younger sister or cousin) and thus had access to all of her content, b, this was a very high ranking catfish that just... gave up immediately after getting called out OR c, it was Alex pretending to not be this fan for whatever reason.

maybe she was embarrassed when she got caught so she lied. maybe it was a younger relative that just wanted to be notice by colby. idk and tbh at this point, it's such old news i don't think we will ever know the real truth.

Pretty sure this is older, but it’s still fucking hilarious:

Umm.....the movie (which was awful and not even awful enough to be entertaining) received largely negative reviews and yes, initially, did well on Netflix, for 5 seconds. It then completely fell off, to the point of they no longer bother to pimp it (tho they do other, older shit....and Crotchi’s Do Revenge). So, again, what it showed was that PP does have a devoted fanbase, but they’re also verryyyy finite. In fact, every project she’s done has indicated this. 

She has no idea what she’s doing, which is why she keeps picking shitting projects. And even then, has to buy her way on. 

Oh I’ll freely agree she’s as “savvy a businesswoman as she is a talented actor”----because she’s abysmal at both. Umm....dude, it was shit. With an outdated, cliched script, bad acting, bad production values (cuz no $$$), etc. It did nothing for her. 

As we see above? Noooopeee.....cuz, again, her fnabase is finite.....and starting to outgrow her a mite, too. If this were true, she’d have done something over hiatus......other than first play power couple, then whine about being bored on podcasts. 

It gave NONE of those actors “more visibility”, in fact, if you wanna be real, it was a bad move for all of them:

NHD - had a small role in a big theatrical (and will be in a Marvel theatrical), was in a Marvel Universe series

David was THE star of a well received Ryan Murphy limited series (tho, frankly, I found it kinda weak, but still)

Aisha was one of 3 leads in a fairly long running series....that I frankly thought was crap, but still, had a devoted fanbase all by itself.

This did nothing for anyyyyy of them----other than providing a probably small paycheck. David made it clear he despised PP and her sexual harassment. 

It left nobody smiling and nobody wanted to watch it even once. I dropped out because it was so fucking boring....

I think we know exactly who’s nervous......and dude, again, no it wasn’t successful. The hilarious part here is all of you then jumped all over her being an attendee at one film event that wasn’t even about her. And she’ll, again, have nothing coming out for at least the next two years because of this.

okay it took over a year but me and my mom just finished watching the ENTIRETY of Beverly Hills 90210 so here's a giant text dump of my Thoughts

Matt might have been a late addition, but he was my favorite cast member, all his wrong doings are NOTHING in comparison to the rest of the cast, he deserved a better ending smh 😔

also they COULD'VE snuck in Andrea/Brendon in the end, just a little hint, but they DIDN'T and for that they're COWARDS

Kelly was a mean girl that slowly evolved into such a karen, she got so annoying towards the later seasons 😭 girl is SO entitled and spoiled and ALWAYS found faults in others but when SHE did the same no one??? ever called her out????? terrible

David continually annoyed me with his storylines, but he got less annoying thank GOD tho he still had his moments

rip to Noah tho, they did NOT know what to do with him and stuck him with a Carly rip-off a few eps before the finale to keep him busy but I was NOT invested (and also reminded me of how much I miss Carly 😔 she was played by Hilary Swank and was easily the best actor in the cast until they very suddenly kicked her out 😔😔😔) they could've and should've cut his character wayyy earlier but oh well

Valerie was the baddest bitch (positive) and LOVED manipulating people, then got surprised when those same people did not. like her. she was only a victim of bad writing and deserved better smh 😔 (the way she lost her money was SO STUPID the writing was SO DUMB like WHYY DID SHE DO THAT. UGH)

Gina was no replacement for the type of shit that Val got up to, but at least she was interesting - surprised she wasn't at the finale especially bc it would make narrative sense but Apparently she wasn't written out and instead wanted to leave so that's understandable

Donna was a literal nepo baby and you could tell 😭 her acting was NOT on the level near the others, and she had so much screen time............

(also her mom was classist AND racist, and 2 episodes after she told Donna she couldn't date a black character - who was a fun, interesting character! - they uh. never showed him again 😶 wtf)

rip to Nat's wife and kid, we saw them once and then they Never Mentioned Them Again, not even to babysit, not even a throwaway line, and that's on the gang for being bad friends tbh

also rip to the entire Walsh family, the main house became the Sander's house, which good for them, but I missed Cindy and Jim 😔 they were good parents and funny and they KILLED THEM (sent them to Tokyo)

okay but like. Brenda was SUCH a BITCH (negative) I was happy when she left the cast, she got SO annoying. she let everyone know that she thought she was better than them, then wanted All the attention to be on her, I hope she never leaves London, California doesn't need her

I loved Brandon until they committed character assassination and had him cheat on Kelly for absolutely no reason with a weird character that was more annoying than interesting 😔 as previously mentioned, him and Andrea should've been endgame - they both were single at the end of the series, their chemistry was great

Andrea was fun, her self-righteousness butting heads with reality and her morals were always fun to watch, but I'm sad that they didn't know what to do with her after they made her 1)get pregnant 2)immediately marry the father. she should've and WOULD'VE aborted that thang but the writers were cowards. and also bad at their jobs as evidenced by season 10 showing is that they ARE capable of keeping characters relevant/in the others' stories even when they're parents

Dylan was the most consistent character, even if he's a brat (positive). he kept cheating on people, though EVERYONE in the show did which like. writers. are your relationships okay. the soulmate thing with Kelly was dumb, but his commitment to creating problems just by being there was fun. also loved how he kept throwing money at problems, he was always a brat about it too - my favorite was when he did it to Noah, that's what he gets for trying to kick out Nat tbh

also Dylan was the only person in the cast to do CPR correctly, which isn't relevant to anything, except that Donna probably should've started chest compression with her dad........... dunno why she got mad at Gina when she, as the daughter of a cardiologist, can't even do chest compressions.......................

Steve was the 2nd most consistent character - after they started writing him as a jerk with a heart of gold moreso than just a plain jerk, he was pretty entertaining. even if he is THEE definition of white, rich, male privilege 😭 bro shouldn't have even graduated high school, and DEFINITELY not college. his job was literally handed to him by his dad 😭😭 he was silly and goofy though, which counts when David and Noah were being The Worst. was a highlight tbh, which is saying something, bc there wasn't one but TWO transphobic episodes, of which he was part of 😭 Didn't Like That!

oh! Janet was fine. at least her characterization was consistent. her and Steve were cute even if I missed Carly and her son - notably she was the ONLY character of color in the main cast which uh. 😐 this show was so white...........

lots of incidental characters of color, but when they dropped the "The Walsh kids help a random person" format, they stopped happening, which sucked. like, again, what happened with the Black guy who was interested in Donna? what happened to Donna's Black friend who she met during the Rose Parade thing?? why can I count the amount of Mexicans in this show on one hand??????!!?!!?? Beverly Hills and LA are white, but not as white as this show made it seem :/

but, anyway, the show was Fine. not very good, sometimes Bad, but mostly Fine. I can't believe I watched 290-something episodes, ten entire seasons

Brandon was my favorite, Steve was good comedic relief, and now I'll be a Matt defender forever, I guess - if I ever see any of their actors on the street, I'll probably say hi

oh! and angels are canonically real btw. also Santa Claus. and Mrs. Claus. so that's fun

Ok, there was lots of stuff tho, the most memorable one was that apparently she was cast in that Snow White movie with KStew, as Hemsworth’s character’s wife and even filmed some scenes for that character’s flashbacks but ended up being cut out… She also appeared at Beauty & The Beast (the one with Emma W) table read but she wasn’t credited anywhere as being in the movie so people thought she was either playing an extra (a villager) or she was visiting her friend (apparently she was friends with Luke Evans?) and filled in for someone to read. The issue with those two theories is that an extra wouldn’t be at the table read and generally the script is being kept under wraps so it’s unlikely that someone would’ve let her just read it even as a fill in. So once again it’s begging that she was cast but ended up removed from the movie at an early stage (usually table read is held ahead of filming). That’s so hilarious but also so sad because I get the business is tough and people do get cut from things but it’s not the first time? Like one time I get it, but at least 3 (or even more if we take the recent Canada thing)? I’ve been in Seb’s fandom for a decade now and there used to be a running joke in the fandom about Seb being in his movies for 5 minutes of screen time, but dang… at least the man has never been cut from stuff. He had a few scenes removed from a movie which significantly reduced his screen time but at least he remained in the movie lol. Idk it must be the lowest of blows when you get cut dry completely like that. Almost makes me feel sorry for her. I think she’d be better off in English shows, if Hollywood keeps cutting her like that. Oh, and another thing is she ain’t no different from Ale if those accusations thrown at her after her trip to SA is to be believed.
