I was wondering if you can do jeonghan 75 drabble. I would really really appreciate it. thank you and love you mwah
Tumblr media
off the record
pairing: jeonghan x reader | wc: 1.3k prompt: "guess who's going to be a father!" au: f1 au | warnings: mentions of pregnancy a/n: hello hello nari your asks always make me smile <3 // this is a continuation of [on the record] bc ferrari!jeonghan lives in my head rent free (highly recommend you read on the record first for some context)
The atmosphere at the Australian Grand Prix was electric, the roar of the crowd still echoing as the last of the race cars pulled into the pit lane. Jeonghan had just secured yet another win, and the sea of Ferrari red flooded every corner of the paddock. The team was in chaos—cheers and hugs, champagne spraying everywhere, mechanics shaking with excitement—but Jeonghan’s gaze was fixed on something else.
You stood just outside the frenzy, leaning casually against the barrier, your camera poised as you snapped a few final shots. You’d been here before, a part of this circus. But today, you had a story of your own to deal with, one that Jeonghan was certain would find its way to his attention.
Jeonghan peeled off his helmet and flashed a grin at the crew as they crowded around him. But his eyes were still searching for you.
A few weeks ago, you'd written something that had the entire paddock talking.
"Guess Who’s Going to be a Father!"
Yoon Jeonghan, Ferrari’s golden boy, had been linked to a famous model, Sienna Hartley, the stunning up-and-coming fashion icon known for her work with luxury brands. A few months ago, the paparazzi had caught the two of them together at a private event. The photos were casual enough—Jeonghan with his arm around her waist, a smile that seemed too comfortable—but it was the following week’s headlines that sent the media into a frenzy.
The shots of Sienna taken at an upscale café, her baby bump unmistakable under a form-fitting dress, had people running wild with speculation. Was Jeonghan going to be a father? Had he been keeping a secret relationship? The rumors only grew when neither Jeonghan nor Sienna commented on the speculation, leaving fans and gossip columns to fill in the blanks.
The rumblings were only growing louder, and of course, you had jumped into the fray, teasing the possibility of Jeonghan becoming a father. The headline had been coy but suggested a connection between the two, leaving just enough room for interpretation. And now, here he was, stepping out of the car, knowing exactly who was responsible for the chaos.
As he walked toward you, the crowd parted around him, but his eyes stayed locked on yours. He could practically feel the mischievous energy radiating from you, even from a distance. The subtle smirk tugging at your lips was all the warning he needed.
Jeonghan approached with slow, deliberate steps, his face a mixture of amusement and challenge. "So we write fake articles now, do we, sweetheart?" he called, his voice carrying across the pit lane.
You didn’t even flinch. With a calm, collected posture, you raised an eyebrow, offering him a half-smile as you lowered your camera. "Just reporting what people are saying," you replied smoothly, voice teasing. "You know, about you possibly becoming a father this year."
"People are saying that?" Jeonghan asked, a slight chuckle escaping his lips. He stepped closer, clearly enjoying the tension building between you two. "Maybe you’ve been spending too much time with the gossip columnists, huh? Could’ve sworn the last time I checked, we were talking about race wins, not baby bumps."
You shrugged, not missing a beat. "Well, Jeonghan, it’s not my fault your personal life keeps getting more interesting than your driving. You really should be more careful with who you’re seen with."
His eyes darkened playfully. "Careful? You think I care about rumors?" he quipped, leaning in just a little bit closer, his voice dropping to a lower, more flirtatious tone. "But if you wanted to get my attention, sweetheart, there are far better ways than a headline about some fake baby."
You tilted your head, smiling in that way that always left him unsure whether you were teasing or challenging him. "Who says I want your attention?" you replied with a hint of challenge, crossing your arms as if daring him to press further.
Jeonghan’s smile only widened. "You’ve got my attention now, don't you?" he teased, his fingers brushing against the barrier you were leaning on, his proximity making it hard to ignore the way the air between you two shifted.
You glanced up at him, keeping your expression casual, but the spark in your eyes was undeniable. "Oh, I don’t know," you said nonchalantly, "maybe I’m just here to enjoy the view of a guy in red doing what he does best – reckless maneuvers that still somehow let him win, y’know?" You paused, letting that sink in. "Though if you really wanted to shut down those rumors, maybe you should take a different approach."
Jeonghan raised an eyebrow, clearly intrigued. "What’s that supposed to mean?"
You gave him a sly smile. "I don’t know. Maybe just come out and say you’re not the father. Or, you know, get more specific about who you’re spending time with. The fans love a good love story, after all."
The way his expression shifted made it clear that he wasn’t quite ready for this conversation to take that turn. His jaw clenched, a hint of frustration appearing under the surface, but it was quickly replaced with his signature smirk. "Sweetheart, you sure talk a big game for someone who's so quiet when it counts."
You leaned in just a little, enough for your words to linger in the air between you. "I could say the same about you," you shot back, eyes glinting with mischief.
Jeonghan paused, clearly enjoying the back-and-forth, but you had him on edge in a way that he didn’t expect. "Listen," he said, his tone dipping lower, his voice now laced with more than just flirtation. "There's only one girl in the paddock I have eyes for, and it sure as hell isn’t Sienna Hartley."
The tension between you two was palpable, a spark igniting in your chest at his words. You met his gaze head-on, not backing down. "And who says I’m interested in your attention, Jeonghan?" you shot back, smirking. "Maybe I just like watching you squirm under pressure."
He leaned in a little more, his breath coming out a little sharper. "You really think you can get under my skin with a headline like that?" he murmured, his lips dangerously close to your ear. "I’m not the one with something to prove, sweetheart."
You could feel his breath on your skin, but instead of feeling intimidated, a thrill ran through you. "Then why do you look like you’re about to lose that smug grin?" you teased, lifting your chin just slightly, making sure the challenge was clear in your words.
Jeonghan grinned, his teeth flashing. "Oh, I’m not losing anything," he said, the playful tone returning. "But if you really want to get my attention, there are better ways than headlines."
You smirked, standing your ground. "Oh? Well, if you want to do something better with your mouth than argue with me, you know where to find me." You shot him a quick wink and began to turn away.
Jeonghan's eyes widened for a moment as he processed your words, and for the briefest second, he was completely thrown off. His confident swagger faltered, and it was then that you realized: you’d left him flustered.
You glanced back over your shoulder with a smug grin. "But I’ll be honest, Jeonghan," you called out, "I’d much rather see you focus on keeping your title than keeping up with rumors."
And with that, you turned and walked off, leaving Jeonghan standing there, still processing your bold departure. His pulse was racing, but not because of the race. This time, it was because of you—your words, your attitude, and the way you had him on edge in a way no one else could.
"Dammit," he muttered under his breath, but the smile on his face betrayed how much he appreciated the challenge. “I should’ve asked her to dinner.”
But knowing you, this was far from over. And next time? He might just have something to say about it.

đŸ„ž Pancakes đŸ„ž
Movie! Shadow x Platonic! Reader
Genre: Fluff, Cozy, Silly
Word Count: 1,503 words
⚠ Warning: None, except little embarrassment
Summary: Hi guys! I got excited about my last Shadow fic so I wrote another one! The songs I used are this one & this one btw, but this fic is more casual than the previous one so it’s much shorter too. Inspired by when my Mom recently caught me dancing (lol).
Tumblr media
I want to spend my life
With a girl like you!
Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba,
Faint words filtered through Shadow’s ears as his eyelids fluttered open. It took him a while to fully realize he was awake, but thankfully he didn’t feel too heavy. He rested for a minute before sitting up and scooting over to the bedside.
It wasn’t very bright, surprisingly. He saw the blinds had been left open and the dark gray sky filtered over the room. Raindrops scattered across glass, making a rhythmic noise, but it felt nice.
Till that time has come,
That we might live as one!
Can I dance with you?
Perking up at the cool words, he shuffled his way towards the door and into the hallway. The sound grew louder before Shadow realized it was music playing, and a buttery smell accompanied it.
Most of the lights were off since it wasn’t exactly dark out, but only one or two yellow lights shone above the kitchen stove. With you moving and swaying there in a very strange manner. Shadow would hardly call it dancing: you were just bobbing up and down, tossing your head and holding a spatula to your face. If he didn’t know you prior he would’ve thought you looked foolish. But you were his friend now, he wasn’t about to judge.
Girl, why should it be
That you don't notice me?
“Can I dance with you?— OhmygoshShadow!!"
You yelped loudly as you quickly jolted back, surprised— and embarrassed— to find Shadow standing behind you. Your spatula knocked into a bowl of pancake batter, sending a blob of beige-white goo down to the floor.
“Ohshoot-sorry! I didn’t see you there bud!”
“No, I should’ve said something.”
You rushed to grab a paper towel and swipe the batter off your tiles, but Shadow beat you to it.
“Nah, it’s all good! I should’ve been paying attention.” You chuckled and grabbed another one, soaking it under the sink then cleaned any excess mush.
“Is that The Troggs playing?” Shadow asked, tossing the mess into the trash can.
You quickly lowered the stove temperature and nodded, “Yup! They’re awesome huh! I love their songs.”
You were about to scoop up some more batter, then paused for a minute.
“Wait—You know The Troggs?!” You exclaimed, swinging your face back around.
“Mmhmm,” Shadow nodded. “I’ve heard only one song, until now.”
You gave a mental “huh” before going back to your pancakes. Even hedgehogs had good taste in music. Who knew?
It had been a full month now since Shadow started living with you, and even without teleportation, he still had ways of surprising you.
You were home all day since it was the weekend, but Shadow had spent most of his time in his room. He usually did; if you weren’t up and about neither was he. In a way, he was like your own little shadow. You never pressed what he did alone, but judging by his expression, he had just woken up from a nap.
“What are you doing?” Shadow peered over the counter, quills twitching with curiosity.
“Just makin’ some pancakes. They’re a little crispy though.”
You slid a slightly burnt piece onto a plate. The pretty golden circles stood in a short stack and gave off an amazing smell. You could see Shadow lean closer as his red eyes grew bigger.
“They’re
pancakes?” He stated his words as if asking a question, but to himself. Which made you curious.
“Yep! I know it’s weird having breakfast for lunch, but I wanted to make something different this time.”
“Uh huh.” He drawled. “They smell nice.”
His brows scrunched up and down, spreading more confusion across his face as Shadow watched the pan sizzle. Pancakes seemed like such an alien concept to him, ironically.
“Shadow?” You asked. “Have you ever had a pancake before?”
He paused again, but shook his head. “No. Are they any good?”
“Uh–yes!! They’re delicious!”
To say you were surprised was an understatement: how could he not know about pancakes?
Until the realization hit you that he probably hasn’t even seen pancakes before. You didn’t know where Shadow came from, and have avoided mentioning it in the past. Even after you became friends. In all that time spent together, you hardly knew a thing about him. And he still seemed reluctant to share.
Movement shook you from your daze as Shadow picked up your spatula, poking the goo in the bowl like a little kid. His story would have to wait for another day. Your top priority: showing him the best brunch ever.
Life could be a dream! Life could be a dream!
Do do do do, SH-Boom!
Your phone quickly changed its tune as The Chords started playing. It couldn’t have picked a more perfect song.
“Why don’t you give this a try Shadow!” You scooted the pan closer to him, turning off the heat and switching it to the other side.
“Me?” He fumbled with the spatula.
“Yea, why not! Don’t worry I’ll help you.” You gave a cheeky grin, “Besides, it’ll be fun to learn. Right?”
Shadow opened his mouth to reply, but shut it quickly. You had always made meals for him, or either helped him make them. Even when you were gone there’d always be something from the previous night, or wrapped up in plastic.
But you had a point, he couldn’t rely on you for everything. Especially now. If he was going to stay, he’d have to start pulling his weight around.
“Alright,” He tugged back his gloves and set himself behind the stove. “I’m ready.”
You poured a cup of batter into the pan. For such a serious character, he looked so adorable.
You two waited for a few minutes before you set your hand on his arm, helping him flip the pancake to the other side. It shifted a little, making tiny splatters, but the color was perfect. For the second one you let him do it himself, and it looked far better than the first.
Life could be a dream! SH-Boom!
If I could take you to a paradise up above,
SH-Boom! And tell me darling,
“I’m the only one that you love!” You shimmied back and forth to the music as Shadow continued to pour and flip the batter.
For a first timer he was doing incredibly well! Fast even; his pancakes came out looking far better than yours! To which Shadow claimed could only come natural to him. You shot a surprised look, but you were happy seeing him loosen up. After a little while, Shadow even joined in your silly dance moves. His shoes tapped along to the beat, and you could see his body bouncing as he mouthed the lyrics. You tried giving him a little bump of encouragement, til he stopped and looked at you strangely.
“Wow!” You coughed, “You’re really getting the hang of this bud.”
Shadow rolled his eyes but he kept smiling. “Thanks. This is..easier than I expected.”
After a short while, you two had a full stack of pancakes. You quickly shut off the stove and tossed the bowl into the sink. Maneuvering the food to the countertop, you pulled out two little plates. You were about to grab the butter, but Shadow beat you once again.
“Can I do it?” The container looked so small in his big hands.
You nodded and found a plastic knife in the drawers. Leaving Shadow to butter the pancakes while you looked for the syrup.
You came back from the pantry with a tall bottle in your hands, and to say Shadow was amazed was a clear understatement. The light in his eyes when the dark syrup trickled down the edible tower was enough to brighten any room.
You two settled at the table, plates in hand. Meals were typically had together nowadays, but each time it felt different somehow. Shadow had come a long way, going from a worrisome little thing to a happy hedgehog! And you couldn’t be prouder.
“‘Kay bud, dig in!” You pushed your fork into the food and Shadow did the same, cutting it into bite sized pieces.
Everything seemed normal, until after a few bites Shadow stopped. He just sat there, chewing, but his expression quickly changed. It wasn't confusion, more like—a blank expression?
“Shadow?” You said through your food. “You doin’ okay there?”
Oh how you hoped he didn’t grab the burnt one.
In an instant, Shadow took a larger piece and shoved it in his mouth. He only half chewed before doing the same thing. He did this three more times and it took him about a minute to finish half the plate.
Syrup coated his mouth, and he swallowed hard before speaking. “You were right. Pancakes are the superior choice.”
That was all he said before stuffing his face again.
“Yea-I-erm—yea! Well, I’m glad you like them!”
You rushed over to sink and grabbed a cup of water. Thinking next time, you should just make eggs instead.

That one scenario where C and MC have a kid has my heart completely 😭 Can we get a follow up for that? How are things going on in the joint household? I'm also very curious to see what C would name their kid đŸ€
the hershey’s kisses glinted in the late afternoon sun, crinkled foil catching the golden light that streamed in through the window. aster sat cross-legged on the sofa, a small island of contentment in the messy sprawl of school bags and discarded socks she’d left in her wake.
she was humming under her breath as she unwrapped another piece of chocolate, oblivious to the way her shoes lay in two opposite corners of the room and how her lunchbox sat precariously balanced on the edge of the coffee table.
you leaned against the kitchen counter, sipping coffee and watching her with the detached amusement of a parent who knows they’ll have to clean up the mess but hasn’t yet summoned the energy to do so.
C was in the armchair, one foot propped on the edge of the ottoman, clicking through their macbook with half an eye on aster. it was domesticity in its sweetest form, the kind you don’t think about when you’re young and idealistic, imagining love and family like perfect polaroids on a wall.
“did you give her those?” C asked suddenly, their voice louder than the hum of the dishwasher in the kitchen.
you blinked and set your coffee down, moving closer to inspect the crumpled foil wrappers littered around aster.
“nope,” you said after a beat. “not exactly either of our flavor. that’s
what is that, cherry? we don’t have those in the house.”
C arched a brow, and without missing a beat, turned their full attention to your daughter.
“aster,” they said, voice soft but with a worried edge, “where did you get the chocolates?”
aster’s head snapped up, her chalcedony green eyes lighting up with excitement.
“felix gave them to me!” she said, her grin wide enough to show the little gap where her front tooth had fallen out last week.
C froze, their hand tightening slightly on the edge of their macbook. you, on the other hand, were far more amused.
“felix, huh?” you said, crouching slightly to meet aster’s eye level. “and who’s felix again?”
her grin grew impossibly wider as she happily declared: “my boyfriend!”
you chuckled, leaning against the arm of the sofa. “oh, really? you have a boyfriend now, kleine ster? when did this happen?”
“this morning actually!” aster exclaimed, bouncing a little on the cushions. “he gave me the chocolates at recess and said he liked me, and i said i liked him too, and now we’re boyfriend and girlfriend!”
C’s eye twitched, a muscle jumping just beneath the surface. they sat up straighter, their attention now fully honed on your seven-year-old’s revelation.
“did he now?” they said, their voice tight. “and what else did this... felix boy say?”
aster frowned, confused by the sudden shift in tone. “uh
he said i could have the last red crayon in art class.”
“generous of him,” they muttered darkly, looking distinctly unimpressed.
“C,” you said warningly, but they ignored you, leaning forward with the intense focus of someone about to conduct an interrogation.
“and does this felix
hold your hand?” they asked, their tone too casual to be actually genuine.
“sometimes,” aster admitted, her brows knitting together.
C’s mouth tightened into a thin line. “does he share his lunch with you?”
“yeah, today he gave me his oreos!”
C’s jaw twitched. you pinched the bridge of your nose.
“C,” you said again, a little louder this time. “let it go, darling. they’re just kids.”
but they were too far gone now, leaning forward as though proximity might grant them any sort of control over the situation.
“aster,” they said with all the solemnity of someone at a funeral, “you can’t have a boyfriend. you’re too young. your brain isn’t fully developed. you’ll... you’ll explode! you’ll leave your parents all alone then and it’ll make us very sad.”
aster blinked at them, unwrapping another hershey’s kiss with deliberate slowness.
“i will explode?” she asked, clearly confused by this turn of events.
you rolled your eyes. “no, you wo—”
“yes, you will,” C insisted, cutting you off. “and anyway, you’re not allowed to date anyone until you’re like 30 and paying taxes. it’s a rule.”
“that’s not a rule,” aster said with the stubborn certainty of someone who knew she was right. she really was her parents’ daughter. “and felix is a good boy.”
“‘good,’” C muttered under their breath, glaring at the imaginary felix as though he was lurking in the shadows, waiting to hand their precious little star another chocolate. “i’m going to fight this seven-year-old.”
“C!” you snapped, stepping between them and placing a hand on C’s shoulder. “calm down, my love. it’s harmless.”
C leaned back reluctantly, their gaze flicking between you and aster, who was now watching them like they’d sprouted a second head.
“fine,” they grumbled, crossing their arms over their chest.
***
after dinner, aster sat cross-legged in the middle of the living room, her brow furrowed in concentration as she examined a tiny instruction manual for building LEGOs with the intensity of someone decoding the human genome. her fingers, small but deft, picked up pieces and slotted them into place, her movements sure and deliberate.
C sat beside her, their long legs folded awkwardly beneath them, one hand bracing their bad knee. their fingers worked slower than hers, more hesitantly. the gap between them—her bright enthusiasm, their cautious quiet—was almost laughable. but C didn’t laugh.
they watched her instead.
aster had inherited their stubbornness, the precision of their thoughts, the way they spoke with certainty even when they were wrong, the hard-headed refusal to back down in the face of a challenge. but she’d also inherited your warmth, your easy charisma, the way people seemed to orbit around you like you were some kind of gravitational force.
she was both of you, but neither of you. something wholly her own. and she shone so brilliantly.
“non,” aster said suddenly, shaking her head. she spoke in a tone that was equal parts exasperated and amused, the way one might speak to a child who couldn’t quite grasp a simple concept. “that piece goes here. look.” she leaned over, plucking a flat blue brick from the pile and snapping it into place on the half-constructed spaceship.
“ah,” C said, their lips quirking into a faint smile. “of course, petite Ă©toile. how foolish of me.”
she beamed proudly, her confidence growing with each small victory.
“it’s okay. you’re still learning,” she said magnanimously, patting their arm. honestly, it amused C greatly to see her reflect you back when you both argued everyday like your life depended on it.
C snorted, shaking their head. “merci, mademoiselle.”
“pas de problùme,” she replied breezily, her accent and pronunciation impeccably like a parisian native.
C felt a pang of pride so sharp it was almost painful. french had been one of their gifts to her, a piece of their heritage they had handed down like an heirloom. and she had taken to it effortlessly, as if it had always been hers.
she slipped between languages with a grace that left C in awe, her young mind absorbing everything like a sponge.
“wat is dit?” she asked suddenly, holding up a strange piece they hadn’t encountered yet.
“hmm,” you said from where you were sprawled on the couch, your legs stretched out and a book resting on your chest. you barely looked up as you answered her in dutch, explaining what the piece was and where it might fit.
aster nodded thoughtfully, her small fingers turning the piece over as she considered its possibilities. C watched her, their heart swelling with a mixture of love and disbelief.
how could someone so small hold so much brilliance? how could she be so much more than they had ever dared to imagine for themself?
“do you think felix likes LEGOs?” aster asked suddenly, breaking their reverie. she was staring at them now, her eyes—C’s eyes, pale green and perceptive—narrowed in thought.
C felt their jaw tighten at the mention of the boy, the ghost of their earlier irritation flickering to life.
“i have no idea,” they said evenly, focusing on the spaceship.
aster tilted her head, clearly unconvinced by their tone.
“he’s nice,” she said firmly, as though this simple fact should erase all of C’s doubts.
“i’m sure he is,” C said, their tone carefully neutral.
you glanced up from your book, smirking slightly as you watched the exchange. let it go, your eyes seemed to say.
but it wasn’t that simple.
it wasn’t about this felix boy, not really. it was about aster, about the inexorable passage of time, about the impossibility of holding on to something as fragile and fleeting as childhood. she was growing up, and there was nothing C could do to stop it.
C reached for another LEGO brick, their fingers brushing against aster’s. she looked up at them, her eyes bright with curiosity.
“tu vas bien?” she asked, her voice soft and earnest.
the question caught them off guard. for a moment, they didn’t know how to respond. how could they explain the tangled mess of emotions that had been simmering inside them all day? how could they tell her that the thought of her growing up terrified them in a way they couldn’t quite articulate?
“i’m fine, petite Ă©toile,” they said eventually, forcing a smile. “just tired.”
she seemed to accept this, turning her attention back to the spaceship. but C couldn’t help noticing the small furrow in her brow, the way her hands moved more slowly now, as if she was trying to puzzle something out.
they watched her in silence, their heart aching with a strange, bittersweet kind of love.
***
later, when the spaceship was complete and aster had been tucked into bed, C found themself sitting on the edge of your shared bed, their head in their hands.
“okay,” you said, sitting beside them. “do you want to talk about what exactly is bothering you, my love?”
they sighed, looking up at you now.
“it’s just
strange,” they said, their voice low and tired. “she’s growing up so fast. too fast. i feel like i blinked, and suddenly she’s not my little girl anymore.”
you stayed quiet, letting them find the words.
“i still remember holding her in my arms for the first time,” they continued, their voice thick with emotion. “i remember her first steps, her first word, the first time she looked at me and called out for me. and now
now she’s talking about boyfriends and whatnot.”
they let out a bitter laugh, running a hand through their hair. “i didn’t have this. a proper childhood. a father who cared. i don’t know what i’m doing half the time. i just
i look at her, and i love her so much it terrifies me. so much so that i still don’t understand how my father could—”
“hey,” you interrupted gently, placing a hand on their arm. “you’re nothing like him. you’re such a wonderful parent, C. she loves you so much. you can see it every time she looks at you. and yeah, it’s hard watching her grow up. but that’s the deal. you love them, and you let them go, little by little, so they can become who they’re meant to be.”
C nodded slowly, their eyes softening as they looked at you. “i know you’re right.”
you leaned in, pressing a kiss to their temple. “of course i’m right, i always am.”
they rolled their eyes, but a small, tired smile tugged at the corners of their mouth.
“do you think
” they hesitated, the tips of their ears turning adorably red. “do you think we should have another one?”
“another what?” you teased, raising an eyebrow.
they scowled, burying their face in your neck.
“you know what i mean,” they mumbled, their voice muffled. “don’t make me say it out loud.”
you laughed, stroking their hair. “we’ll talk about it in the morning.”
but you already knew the answer.

hey, I just saw your SKZ “Types of Cuddlers” thing and I was wondering if you could maybe do one of the members reacting to their S/O secretly being an AMAZING singer
(Preferably in the car while listening to the radio)
OFC OFC
Here is....
Stray Kids reacting to their S/O being a good singer secretly
Tumblr media
Bang Chan
Chan is always humming along to the radio, so when you casually start singing along, he doesn't think much of it—until you really get into it. His head snaps toward you, eyes widening as he forgets about the road for a second. "Wait—EXCUSE ME? Since when could you sing like that?!" He’s immediately hyping you up, turning down the music just to hear you better. By the time you finish, he’s already planning a whole studio session. "We’re recording this when we get home. No, this isn't up for debate. I need this on a track—please, baby."
Lee Know
Minho’s driving with one hand on the wheel, casually vibing, when you start singing. At first, he side-eyes you, but when you hit a high note flawlessly, he nearly swerves. "What the hell was that?" He plays it cool but turns the music down ever so slightly, just to hear more. When you stop, he just raises a brow. "Why are you acting like you didn’t just sing better than half the idols out there? Explain." He might act nonchalant, but trust me, he’ll be begging you to sing for him again when you least expect it.
Changbin
Changbin’s rapping along to the song, fully in the moment, when suddenly, your vocals steal the show. He stops mid-bar, his jaw dropping as he turns to stare at you like you just grew wings. "HUH?! Babe, what was that?! Why do you sound like a literal OST singer??" He’s shook, and now he refuses to let you stop. He even starts replaying the song so you can sing it again, hyping you up like a proud fan. "You better sing every song from now on. This is our thing now."
Hyunjin
Hyunjin is just enjoying the ride, scrolling on his phone while you sing along absentmindedly. Then, your voice hits, and his head snaps up so fast it might give him whiplash. "Wait. WAIT. Since when could you sing like that?!" He’s dramatically clutching his chest like he just fell in love all over again. "I need you to sing to me every day from now on. No exceptions." Would 100% start recording you on his phone while fake crying.
Han
Han’s all about music, so when you start belting out a song like a pro, he goes through all five stages of shock in two seconds. First, his jaw drops, then his hands are in his hair, and then he’s physically shaking you. "BABE—HOW DID I NOT KNOW THIS?!" He immediately starts harmonizing with you, but let’s be real—he’s mostly hyping you up. By the end, he’s convinced you must have been a singer in a past life. "We’re doing karaoke as soon as we get home. I don’t care what plans we had—this is more important."
Felix
Felix is driving peacefully, just enjoying the moment, when you casually start singing. At first, he smiles—then he really listens. His eyes go wide, and he suddenly pulls over. "I need a moment. WHAT was that?!" He’s staring at you like you just unlocked a hidden talent he never knew about. Immediately starts asking questions: "Why haven’t you told me? Can you do that again? Wait, are you secretly an idol?!" He’s so soft about it, though. From now on, he’ll beg you to sing him to sleep.
Seungmin
Seungmin is one of those people who wouldn’t react right away. He’d just stare at you while driving, trying to process the fact that his S/O has a golden voice. "Huh. So you’ve just been hiding this from me?" But the moment you’re done, his teasing starts. "You think you’re better than me now? Should we battle? Should I call JYP?" He’s acting unserious, but deep down, he’s genuinely impressed. Expect him to request random songs just to hear you sing again.
I.N
Jeongin’s jamming out, not expecting much, until you casually body the vocals. He gasps so dramatically you think something’s wrong. "YOU CAN SING?!" His hands are gripping the wheel like he’s shook. He immediately starts grinning, turning down the volume just to hear you better. "No, no, keep going! You sound so good!" He’s so excited about it that he’ll probably keep bringing it up for days, telling the rest of the members like he just discovered a secret treasure. "Guys, my S/O has been hiding their vocal skills from me. I feel betrayed but also so blessed."

taken in by the sullys (7) / sully family x human!daughter/sister!reader
synopsis, you catch up on some home videos of you and jake while he was human, much to the delight and fascination of the younger sullys
thank you to @ashton-trashton for the idea!
+ can't wait to write the rest of your requests! enjoy this while i continue writing death in the family! <3
(1) / . . . / (6*) / (7- ur here! ☆)
+ chapters with an * beside it means that it’s following atwow plot line as opposed to disconnected scenarios
2165 (you were 14 years old)
as you grew older, you had more questions about the past
jake wasn't too happy with that, especially when you started showing interest in the memory of your birth mother
he was never misleading with you, though, and answered any question you had enthusiastically
he always knew you would be curious eventually, but to experience it just meant you were growing up... and possibly away from him
he's jealous
he just loves you so much and gets sad thinking about the future, one where you might not be as close to him as you were as a child
"why do you always get that look on your face when talking about her?" you swung your legs back and forth on the stubby rocky ledge near the river.
the quiet hum of the passing water didn't reflect the whirlpool of confusion within you. you would solidify your identity in your adolescence, a task that would prove difficult among your kind on earth, much less on pandora.
jake rested his arm beside you, leaning as he watched the younger ones play in the water. "what look?"
you scrunched your face, mimicking the way he cringed whenever you brought her up. jake chuckled softly at your impression.
"you've always been my baby. it's hard for me to think of you as someone else's." jake explained, picking a leaf from your hair and tossing it to the side.
you pondered on that idea. his statement would have irked you a while ago. you weren't his biological daughter, a fact that startled you when you were old enough to understand the weight of it. equating it with being an orphan, a burden to jake and neytiri, you stewed in turmoil for years until they loved the doubt out of your mind.
"that makes sense, i guess." your voice tapered off, responding to show him that you were listening more than to contribute to the conversation.
jake huffed a short chuckle, pulling you into his side and nuzzling into your head affectionately. "don't worry too much about it. you're ours, since the beginning and 'til the end."
while you understood, it didn't stop you from searching for remnants of the past, a task that was easy since the sully kids were allowed to pass in and out of the avatar grounds freely
when kiri was a bit older, they started connecting her to grace via the video logs
on one occasion kiri spotted you in the background, your scandalous laughter followed jake’s playful voice
"look!" kiri's finger jammed into the LED computer screen, tapping furiously as if she wanted to direct your attention to the every pixel that contributed to your image. "tsmuke, tsal's nga!" (sister, it's you!)
you squinted, looking past grace in the foreground and spotting yourself and jake rolling around. a smile snaked its way onto your face as you heard the background chatter, vaguely remembering moments like these. "huh. that is me."
"we need to look for more." kiri said, her golden eyes set with determination. she grabbed your wrist and pulled it towards the keyboard, silently urging you to search the video log collection.
you chuckled, amused. "okay, okay! i'm looking." you relented, scouring the files for familiar dates or settings.
so many. you didn't even realize the extent of these video logs. each member of grace's team did one, often multiple times a day, and you were always there in some shape or form. it hit you that the first 3 and a half years of your life were largely documented on camera and you didn't know about it.
you started to go through them methodically, starting from the very beginning. most of them starred grace complaining about the higher ups for lacking the competence to allocate resources better, now that she's stuck with a child. but within minutes, she was speaking about incorporating you into her routine with a warmth and softness.
you cringed when you witnessed how maladjusted you were to the mountain lab. you were cranky all the time, aggressive with your caretakers, and above all, lonely and sad. grace and her team had duties to do, and for the most part 'took care of you' by making sure you had stuff to eat and giving you a book to read.
you didn't hold it against them. they did what they could to look after you.
you were parked in front of the computer for hours on end.
"uh, y/n..." norm peeked around the corner, a towel slung around his shoulders. "your dad's calling. wants you home."
"uh-huh." you drone, shaking the mouse to life and catching a glimpse of the time left for the log. you fought the urge to grit your teeth upon seeing the number. "i got two minutes left, i'll head out after that."
"okay, be safe. night night."
"night." you hummed, wishing the progress bar would fall off screen to prevent norm from catching that there was actually about half an hour left for the video. what he doesn't know won't hurt him.
time ticked by and it was as if there were a gentle hand easing your head towards the desk, weighing you down and down until you had the sense to shoot back up again. you rubbed your eyes roughly, blinking wide to force yourself awake.
it wasn't much help. you finally settled down against the desk—gravity must be stronger, since you couldn't find the strength to get up...
it'd be a death sentence to trek back home now. jake appeared shortly after as if he knew.
"y/n..." he sang softly, circling around you cautiously. any annoyance he had at the late hour vanished when he saw your exhausted face. he poked your shoulder.
"hm?" you sprung up, eyes still half-closed. drowsiness gnawed on your brain, and for a moment you forgot where you were.
jake chuckled, squatting beside you and supporting you from falling off your chair. you fell onto his shoulder, mumbling a half-hearted apology for not coming home on time. his eyes flickered to the screen as he took a breath from his gas mask.
"huh." his head tilted a bit when he saw his human self on the screen. it had been so long, he was starting to forget what he looked like; the pale skin, buzzcut, wheelchair... he didn't feel any regret leaving that jake sully behind at all. "why're you watchin' this, baby?"
you smacked your lips, your senses returning to you momentarily. "why, is it bad?"
"no, no. it's not bad, just..." he struggled to find the words. "we were dealing with some pretty heavy stuff, kiddo. fighting and all that."
you frowned, shrugging. "but you won, so it's all okay. besides, you looked pretty cool, dad." you hummed, directing his attention to his tattoos on screen. "can i have one of these?"
"absolutely not." jake scoffed, playfully swatting your hand away from the screen. "hurts like a bitch." he swore, then froze up. "uh... don't repeat that. it's a bad word."
"you've said bitch on camera, like, a hundred times already." you deadpanned. "and some other ones, like—"
"we don't gotta repeat 'em, baby." jake's mind reeled hearing you swear for the first time, the urge to scold you or laugh at you battling in his mind. the confidence and ease with which you cursed made him think it was not your first time swearing at all.
jake's amusement was far greater, so he laughed and pulled you into a tight embrace. "especially not around your mother, got it?"
his hug was like a warm bath on an early school morning, just a few seconds in comfort was enough to knock you out. you dropped like lead.
"got it?" he repeated, peeking at you in his arms and resisting the urge to squeeze you affectionately when he heard your soft breathing. he leaned back on his haunches, preparing to get up.
but the bright blue light of the video logs snared his attention once again. his own curiosity got the better of him. with a drawn out sigh, he fastened his mask around his face just in case he dozed off, and pressed play.
needless to say, jake was not successful in bringing you back home
leaving the lab was a challenge since you didn't want to leave without seeing the rest
jake asked norm to make a copy the log vault, for both you and kiri to watch
ever since then, you were addicted to it and pulled many all-nighters (much to jake's dismay)
it was even worse when the other kids gathered around, equally interested
"awww," lo'ak giggled. "y/n was so tiny!"
neteyam and kiri snickered alongside him. all you could do was roll your eyes playfully. seeing a human baby was a novelty for them, especially since they were the size of a toddler from birth.
"you mean is so tiny" kiri grinned, clinging to your back as she peered at the screen. "not much has changed."
"ha ha." you deadpanned, giving them a teasing glare, turning your attention back to the video.
"no, no, y/n. don't put that in your mouth." jake glanced off camera, his eyes anticipating your next movement.
you slurred some vowels together off camera, snapping back at him in your own way. he gave you a look. "i mean it, kid. drop it."
there was some shuffling off camera and jake sighed, his hand darting out to grab the pen from you, tossing it to the side. "you're interrupting my log here, you know." he huffed a laugh.
you walked towards him, bumping the camera off center, the view now askew. it caught jake's grin, his arms opening up to catch you and set you on his leg. "now, if you're gonna sit here, you're need to be quiet. grace will kill me if i don't get this thing done. okay?"
you nod, your eyes already trailing over all the new papers and equipment on the desk.
"okay." jake grunted, straightening the camera before sitting back in his wheelchair. his hand was firmly around your stomach, holding you in place before you had the mind to wander off and fall somewhere out of reach.
a smile tugged on your lips watching the scene before you. your dynamic with jake hadn't changed much; in fact, he was even more of a sucker that he often let you do as you please. you, like his other daughters, had him wrapped around your finger.
"it is... june 15th, 2154." he sighed, wracking his brain for what he learned and accomplished during his drive. "i went hunting with neytiri again—"
"he's talking about mom!" lo'ak gasped in realization, even more eager to pay attention.
"—she's been teaching me everything. how to move, to listen, to feel... it's humbling. even more humbling now that neytiri has chosen to take the 'learn fast or die' approach. the more my training is pushed deeper and deeper into the forest, the more i hear that i'm like a baby. every time i do something good she somehow misses it. but every time i stumble, she's looking right at me as if i'm hopeless."
jake ponders for a moment, his features set with a soft kind of... affection. "neytiri moves like the whole world bends to her will. she's... incredible." he clears his throat suddenly, startling you in his lap. you give him a weird look.
the sully kids exchanged uncomfortable looks as they watched their father pine after their mother in real time.
"ew." kiri said simply, her nose scrunching. neteyam and lo'ak nodded in agreement.
"incredibly terrifying." jake revised his previous statement, his gaze flickering to you. "you know she calls me a moron? skxawng." he laughed to himself, running his free hand over his face. "i hear that word so much, i'm starting to think it's my new name."
the camera caught you rolling your eyes.
"yeah, see?" lo'ak jerked a thumb at the screen, accompanied by a soft snicker. "even baby y/n knows dad's on some bull—"
"dad's what?" jake entered the marui, raising an eyebrow.
lo'ak scrambled behind you, kiri shoving him away from her place of refuge behind your back as neteyam rolled his eyes.
jake sat beside you all, grabbing lo'ak's arm and pulling him into a playful headlock. "you making fun of me, son?"
lo'ak burst with laughter, using all his strength to try and squirm out of jake's arms. "dad, let go!" he complained between giggles.
"we're just listening to how you fumbled with mom." kiri explained.
"fumble?" jake pursed his lips. with him distracted, lo'ak popped out of his headlock and climbed on his father's back. "i did not fumble your mom. half of you wouldn't be here otherwise."
"sure, it worked out..." you gave your siblings a conspiratorial look. "but dad, i'm sorry, you were such a loser."
jake gawked at you, blocking out the gasps and giggles from the rest of the children momentarily.
you laughed nervously before pulling up your proof. you scrubbed through the video. "here's where you start taking about mom," you fast forwarded 15 minutes. "look, you're still rambling about her." you skipped through the rest. "actually, you never stop going on about her."
"so? she was the only part of my day that i looked forward to, obviously i'm going to have a lot to say." jake retorted, rolling his eyes.
"for someone who doesn't tolerate idiots, she picked a big one to mate with." you said lowly, earning a grin from neteyam beside you.
"hey, i heard that!"
"are they bullying you, majake?" neytiri gracefully ducked under the entrance of the marui, baby tuk in her arms.
"mom, mom, you've gotta see this." kiri beckoned neytiri over. she shook your shoulders. "put it back so she can see."
you happily rewinded the clip as the whole family gathered around the computer.
jake bounced you on his leg to calm you. he was nearing an hour on video, and you were growing restless. and yet, he couldn't stop talking.
"she's terrifying in the way you'd wanna sit up straighter when she's around. which i do. a lot. she'd scold me otherwise. she scolds me a lot, actually. for the most part, it seems like i can't do anything right around her."
he shook his head, cringing with embarrassment. "i even tried to make her laugh today. worst decision ever. flew right over her head."
lo'ak snickered. "dad has no game."
"dad has lots of game." jake corrected, huffing. "your mother is just very difficult to impress."
neytiri smiled, cupping jake's face warmly. "don't listen to them, jake. you are my favorite loser."
the marui erupted with giggles as jake dropped his head down, shaking it in defeat.
every time you feel outcast or shunned, you returned to the video logs.
you knew jake had no regret for his human body. he thought it was broken and useless. he had always felt more alive in his na'vi body.
but for you, the images of the past were a great comfort.
present day
jake must have forgotten the log was running, because eventually he didn't acknowledge the camera or speak about pandora.
you were upset again. upset you were stuck in this narrow tin can they called a lab. you never bothered them—you learned it rarely got you the response you wanted. they were busy, working adults. they tried their best.
you were always a priority for jake, though. even if he did leave for hours on end, never once did he try to busy you with something while he did his tasks. more often than not, you were on his leg or in his arms while he was doing his logs.
he pulled you to his chest, patting your back as he hugged you tightly. "yeah, this place isn't exactly a dream for me either. i get it."
he sighed, chugging a canned energy drink before settling back down in his chair. "i know it sucks being on your own. but don't i always come back?"
he held you up in the air, smiling up at you. "don't cry, kid." he chuckled, wiping your cheeks. "you're making me sad, too."
you calmed down a bit, enough for jake to lull you to sleep.
he leaned back in his chair, shifting as he got comfortable to doze off with you. he yawned loudly. "it's you and me against the world, kid. promise."
the video froze as the log finished. you caught your dead eyes in the reflection of the dark screen, staring back at you. you shut the computer off as you hugged your knees to your chest.
the dried saline of your tears hadn't left your skin for hours. the only word bouncing around in your head was liar as you fought the urge to turn back on your promise to return for dinner. you didn't want to go back. you didn't think jake deserved a chance to fix your feelings so soon.
you weren't sure why you pulled up the logs in the first place. you were aware it would only grow your irritation. beneath it all, you were longing for the peace and comfort from your childhood. you found yourself back where you started all those years ago, alone and left behind.
. . .

Mermaids - Jasper Hale (smut)
Requested by @jannesyjane for my birthday bash celebration. The lyrics are from Florence + The Machine song “Mermaids”. Please like and reblog if you enjoyed reading this, your comments keep us writers motivated! Enjoy my loves. Xxx
Summary: Jasper once heard about mermaids which the reader is quite interested in, pwp
Warnings: 18+, smut, oral(m), piv
Pairing: Jasper Hale x fem!reader (800 words)
Tumblr media
“What are you reading?” Jasper’s voice ripped her out of her thoughts, eyes flickering from the book to meet his golden eyes. He was leaning against the doorframe, arms crossed in front of his chest.
“A book I got from Carlisle, it’s about mythical creatures.” A soft chuckle left her boyfriend, body moving closer to plop down on the mattress next to her. His arm found its way around her shoulders, pulling her into his side before snatching the book from her grasp. His eyes wandered over the page she was reading, seemingly deep in thought while she pressed herself even closer. “Emmett and I met a woman once in England, she said something about mermaids, something about the mermaids, they come once a year, they climb the struts of Brighton Pier, they come to drink, they come to dance, to sacrifice a human heart.”
“Did you believe her?” Their eyes met, holding contact as the book fell from his grasp to let his arms find their way back around her middle. Jasper pulled (y/n) on top of him, smirking up at his girlfriend with something darkening stretching through his body, something that managed to elicit a similar sensation inside of her.
“Of course we did, it’d be foolish not to believe a woman talking about mermaids.” Her lips met his before another word could leave him, successfully shutting him up. Jasper instantly chased the kiss, tongue running along her warm lower lip before meeting hers. (Y/n)’s mind was racing, high on his cold touch, on the way her beating heart was calling out to his dead one, how her hips began to roll against his middle without needing any further guidance.
“Careful there, darlin’, didn’t you tell me to slow down last night?” Heat shot up to her face, remembering how sore she had been, desperate for a small break. A break she had clearly let go of the second their lips had met just now, aching for his touch once again. (Y/n) kept quiet, rolling her hips again to communicate what she wanted from him. “Go ahead, take what you need.”
Her hands undid his trousers with clumsy movements, freeing his half-hard cock from its confines. Their eyes met as she spat down on his tip, letting her saliva spread on his cold skin before she began to move her hands for a second or two. Even though she wanted to take her time, (y/n) grew more impatient, needing to feel him buried inside of her.
“Look at you, darlin’, such a desperate little thing, huh?” She snarled at him, tightening her grip on his cock while adding more speed to her movements. A groan left Jasper, filling her bedroom like a song she knew all too well, knowing when to pause before reaching her favourite part.
Jasper kept his arms crossed behind his head but she could tell that he was aching to touch her, to feel her warm skin press against his. Without breaking eye contact she pushed back down on thighs before pushing her damp panties aside to align his cock with her heat. Slowly, (y/n) sank down on him, head rolling back to relish in the all too familiar stretch.
“God, Jas’, you feel so good.” He only let go of a raspy groan, eyes staring up at her to watch (y/n) fuck herself on his cock. At first she moved slowly, trying to ignore the slight burn she couldn’t get rid of, still not fully used to his insatiable need for her - but with every passing moment her movements grew faster while her walls fluttered around his cock.
“You’re my favourite sight, darlin’, fuck.” Their eyes met again, silently communicating to allow Jasper to flip them around. He hovered over her while fucking her into the mattress, set on pushing them both over the edge for the first time that evening, very well knowing that this wouldn’t be the last orgasm of the night.
Curses left (y/n), she had her legs wrapped around his waist, keeping him close while her orgasm finally flushed through her. She sobbed his name, fingernails trying to scratch his skin to try and desperately hold on as he followed her down the edge.
“If I had known that talking about mermaids leads to this I’d have brought it up sooner.”

Summary | a vacation in the mountains with Luigi ends in a kissing session on fresh mountain grass
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
AT THE SUMMIT, luigi m.
(english is not my first language)
It was mid-April, as it always was when you headed to the mountains this time of year. It was a moment of calm before the hellish exam prep began.
Usually, you went alone or with a friend or two, but this time, it was a guy from your university, Luigi Mangione.
He was the handsome and quiet type. You two had met at a university party, in your friend’s kitchen after nearly three-quarters of the guests had left. You were both drunk, along with some of your friends, but later you bumped into each other at the library, and your friendship grew.
You were lying on a blanket spread over the grass, with a few water bottles and cinnamon biscuit packets scattered next to you.
Luigi was in front of you, propped up on his right elbow, with a few cushions tucked under his back.
“You know, I think this is the happiest I’ve felt in a long time.”
He turned his gaze away from the view to look at you.
“Yeah? What about this moment is so special?”
You smiled softly. “Everything. The mountains, the air, the way the sun feels like it’s hugging the earth right now.”
The brunette chuckled lightly. “That’s
 very poetic.”
You playfully tapped his shin with your foot.
“Oh, come on, Mr. Ambition. You don’t always have to analyze things. Just feel it.”
He kept smiling, his dimples deeper than ever.
“I am feeling it. Just
 maybe in a quieter way.”
You sat up slowly. “You’re always so careful. Always making sure everything’s balanced, everyone’s happy. Don’t you ever just let go?” You spread your arms as you said the last two words.
Luigi looked amused. “Let go, huh? Like what, roll down the hill and hope for the best?”
“Exactly! Or, I don’t know, stop thinking about what’s next for once.”
He considered this.
“I guess I don’t really know how to do that.”
Your voice softened. “I can show you.”
“Oh, yeah? What’s your plan?” He raised an eyebrow.
“Close your eyes.”
The breeze brushed against your face and hair as he hesitated.
“What are you—”
You cut him off. “Just do it! Trust me.”
He sighed before closing his eyes. Your knees brushed against the blanket as you scooted closer to him.
“Now
stop overthinking. Stop worrying about what you should be doing. Just
 feel this moment.”
Luigi, still with his eyes closed, had a small smile on his lips.
“Okay, but—”
Before he could finish, you pressed your lips against his. He froze for a second before smiling and leaning in closer.
You pulled back, and Luigi opened his eyes, looking stunned but happy.
“That’s
definitely one way to make me stop thinking.”
“See? Told you I could teach you something.”
He bit his lip as he continued to look at you. “You’re impossible, you know that?”
“And yet, here you are.”
You both laughed, and Luigi tucked a strand of your hair behind your ear. The sun dipped lower, the light casting a golden glow around you.
“You make everything seem so easy,” he murmured.
“Life doesn’t have to be as complicated as we make it. Sometimes you just have to
 take a leap.”
“I think I just did.” He smiled, leaning in to claim another kiss.

fishy go buh-bye! | buddy & monkey: double the trouble
summary: our favourite little one, buddy turned 4-years-old and all she wanted for her birthday was a goldfish—until monkey helped feed him a little too much.
double the trouble masterlist
Tumblr media
“Mummy! I wan’ fishy! Ou’ don’ understand!” You stomped your foot hard, crossing your arms tightly.
This was serious.
You needed a fish.
You had already used your best puppy-dog eyes, the ones that usually made Leah say yes, but this time, she was being very difficult.
“Bubba,” Leah sighed, rubbing her face, “Surely there’s something else you want for your birthday.”
“No!” You huffed, bouncing on your toes, “I wan’ fishy.”
“I know you do, but there has to be something else you’d like instead
” Leah trailed off, hoping that she could persuade you differently, “A fish can be a lot of work sometimes. How about some new toys instead?”
“No!” You said again, louder this time, “I need a fishy, Mummy!”
Leah raised an eyebrow, crossing her arms to, like she was copying you, “You need one, do you?”
“Uh huh!” You nodded so hard in agreement, “Monks’ got Tat’-Tot. I wan’ a fishy!”
Leah groaned in exasperation.
Beside you, Beth smirked, “Come on, Le. Buy her a fish. What’s the harm?”
That did it. Finally!
After days and days of asking–maybe even a whole year, because waiting was hard–Leah sighed and said the magic words, “Fine, Bubba. You can have a fish.”
You felt like it was the best day ever!
Tumblr media
The pet shop was so big, with rows and rows of tanks full of fish swimming ‘round and ‘round. You pressed your face against the glass, eyes wide.
“Remind me again why she wants a fish?” Jordan, who had joined in the trip to the pet shop, leaned over and whispered to Leah, confused about where the sudden need for a fish came from, “Out of all animals she could want, and she lands on
 a fish.”
“I’m not sure. Maybe she watched Finding Nemo with Monkey?” Leah was clueless just the same as Jordan, watching you as you stared in awe at all the different types of fish, “Bubba, have you seen any that you like?”
“No, dat one too stripey,” You scrunched your little face up in disagreement, “An’ dat one is too big!”
“There’s plenty to choose from, little ‘un,” Jordan chuckled, crouching down the glass a few inches away from where you stood, “Hey, Buddy. What about this one?”
You were curious and toddled over to look at the one. You let out a gasp, “Wow. He perfect, Mama!” You exclaimed, and you were set on the tiny, shiny, golden fish that looked the happiest fish in the whole wide world, “I wan’ dat one!”
“Looks like we have a winner,” Leah said, making her way over to speak to one of the staff members to retrieve the fish.
Leah had already brought the tank and stuff that was needed, set up ready to go at home, all you had to do now was bring home your bestest fish.
You were so excited when you got home, you just watched him swim and swim. His name was Fishy. He was perfect.
But as you found out, your perfect fishy didn’t do much. No amazing tricks. Nothing. He just
 swam around his tank.
“He don’ do much, Mummy. He’ borin’ now,” It had been less than a day before you grew tired of watching your new friend swim around in his tank.
“Well, Bubba
That’s just what fish do,” Leah explained gently.
Your fish swam ‘round and ‘round in his tank. Until one day, just a few sleeps later, Fishy stopped swimming.
He wasn’t moving at all.
You blinked at him, tilting your head, “Mummy? Fishy ‘topped swimming!”
Leah came over and took one look at the tank. Then she sighed real big and rubbed her face, “Oh, Monkey
”
You were confused. What did Monkey do?
Meanwhile, your favourite person, who was curled up on the sofa in Leah’s big hoodie that she had stolen, suddenly let out a gasp just like she’d figured something out, “I didn’t mean to kill it!”
Your mouth dropped open, you crossed your arms super tight while shaking your head in pure disappointment,  “Monks’, ou’ a murderer!"
“I know!” Monkey wailed, pulling the hoodie over her face, “I was just tryin’ to be nice. I thought he was hungry!”
Leah groaned, rubbing her temples like she had a headache, “Monkey
”
“I didn’t mean it!” Monkey sniffled, flopping back against the sofa like her whole world was over, “I’m so sorry. I swear I didn’t mean it!”
You shook your head, beyond disappointed. Fishy was gone because Monkey gave him too much food? He wasn’t a piggy! He was a fishy! Everybody knew that fishies didn’t eat that much.
“There only one thing dat we hatfa do,” You announced, turning to Leah with your hands on your hips. It was scarily how identical you looked to her right now.
Leah sighed again, already looking tired, “What’s that, Bubba?”
“We hafta ‘ave a fun’ral,” You insisted, keeping your hands resting on your hips.
“Bubba
” Leah tried to speak and make you see reasoning, but you weren’t having any of it.
“It hafta happen, Mummy! We gots to say buh-bye properly!” You insisted, not backing down on your thoughts.
Leah huffed, pinching the bridge of her nose, “... Fine, we can have a funeral for your fish,” The sentence sounded so ludicrous, but she would do whatever she could to make you happy.
Even if that means hosting a funeral
 for a fish.
“We hafta invite everyone, Mummy!” You declared promptly, already undergoing the plans of the funeral, “We hafta to invite Mama and Ez, and Nana, G’anddad, Uncle J, Gan’ma Berny, Auntie Wally, Auntie Kimmy, Auntie Beff, Auntie Vivi, Roo, Auntie Katie, Auntie Caitlin, Auntie Stephy, Auntie Jen, RaRa and Lessi!”
“Anyone else?” Elle joked, most amused by the situation.
“Bubba, we don’t need to invite everyone around. I think they might be busy,” Leah tried to gently explain, bracing herself for an impending meltdown from yours truly.
“Nooo!” You whined, continuing to scowl at her, “Dey hafta to come! Fishy was a good fishy. He need all da people!”
Monkey sniffled dramatically, “She’s right.”
“Oh for goodness' sakes,” Leah groaned, pulling out her phone, “Fine. I’ll drop everyone a text.”
To their credit, every single one of them came.
Well, apart from Jen, who was stuck in America since it was a bit of a short-notice moment to fly over to just attend a funeral
even if it was just for your fish.
Tumblr media
“Hi, little one,” Lia crouched down to envelope you in a warm hug, “I’m very sorry to hear about your fish.”
Your bottom lip wobbled, “I miss him, Auntie Wally.”
“I know you do,” Lia sympathsised with you, “They're in a good place now.”
“Interesting, I’ve never been to a fish funeral before,” Beth cracked a joke, walking through the hallway of Leah’s house with Viv and Roo, the joke earning her a nudge from her partner, who had come to London to visit her girlfriend and daughter and instead, ended up being roped into attending a funeral
 for your fish.
“We’re never getting Roo a fish,” Viv stated, firmly.
“This is all your fault,” Leah playfully glared at the blonde, pointing her finger accusingly at you, “Get a fish–you said. What’s the harm–you said. Now see what’s happened
This is why I was avoiding it.”
Beth held her hands up in mock surrender, “Did you put a good spread on at least?”
“Fish fingers sound good to me,” Kyra teased, walking through the front door with Steph, who rolled her eyes, “Too soon?”
“The poor kid is distraught right now, pest,” Steph told her.
“I thought it was quite funny,” Kyra grinned, pleased with herself, before wandering off to find Monkey, who was curled up on the sofa, feeling sorry for herself.
“Hey, munchkin,” Jacob was the next to come through the door, crouching down to your level and pulling you into his arms.
“Uncle J, Monks’ murdered fishy!” You put the blame straight on your least favourite person right now, “She a Coco Pop killer!”
Jacob stifled his laughter and kept his face straight, “Oh
I’m sure she didn’t mean it though, did she?”
“I didn’t!” Monkey wailed in the background, “I really didn’t mean it. I thought
I thought he was just a bit hungry!”
“See? She really didn’t mean it,” Jacob offered to try and solve the problem.
You weren’t so easily fooled, “Monks’ a murderer!”
Jordan and Erin were the next to come through the front door.
“Mama!” You instinctively ran straight to Jordan and threw your small arms around her.
“Oh, little ‘un,” Jordan cooed, kneeling down to catch you as you let out a heavy sob, “Hey, hey, it’s okay. I’m sorry about Fishy.”
“He was da bestest fishy, Mama,” You cried into her shoulder.
Jordan bit her bottom lip to stop the smile appearing on her face from the bizarreness of the situation, “I know, Buddy. He was very lucky to have you, wasn’t he?”
Tumblr media
The backyard had never seen such a serious event. The sky was cloudy, like even the weather knew that something sad was happening today.
You stood at the front, dressed in your bestest black dress—which was actually navy, but you weren’t hearing any of that.
Your hands were clasped in front of you, standing before a shoebox-turned-coffin, which had been decorated with stickers—because Fishy would have wanted it to look nice.
Leah, Jordan, Erin, Elle, Monkey and you all sat nearby, along with the rest of the family, all gathered in a semi-circle. Leah had her arms crossed, watching with barely concealed amusement, while Jordan rested her hand gently on your shoulder, giving you the serious support you needed right now.
Monkey, still wrapped up in Leah’s hoodie like it was her own security blanket, sniffled dramatically beside you, “I
I didn’t mean to kill him,” She whispered, staring down at the shoebox.
“We know, Monks’,” You said gravely, patting her knee like she was the one who needed to be comforted, “It okay. He in da big pond now in da sky.”
“It’s a tragic loss. He was a good fish,” Steph nodded solemnly, arms crossed.
“Bestest fishy,” You corrected.
“Yeah, I’m sorry little ‘un,” Katie added, surprising everyone by sounding genuinely sad about the whole thing.
“Am I actually seeing this right now?” Beth choked back a laugh, whispering to Viv, “Is Katie actually getting emotional right now?”
“Apparently,” Viv whispered back, smirking, “I believe she has a soft spot for her nieces and their fish, I guess.”
You ignored them. This was serious business.
“We gathered ‘ere today,” You announced in your most-grown up voice, “To say buh-bye to Fishy.”
Monkey wiped at her eyes, “He was a good fish.”
“He was da bestest fish,” You peered up to look at her, correcting her again.
“Amazing fish,” Jordan agreed, nodding along.
“He was brave,” Erin added, playing along.
“A real fighter,” Kyra couldn’t miss the opportunity to pipe in, still grinning.
“Until Monks’ murdered him!” You grumbled, shaking your head in disappointment.
Monkey gasped, looking properly horrified, “I didn’t mean it!”
“Ou’ did!” You huffed, scowling at her with your hands resting on your hips, “Ou’ not meant to feed him so much!”
“Girls,” Leah groaned, pinching the bridge of her nose, “Can we have just one day when you two aren’t fighting with one another? Bubba, Monks’ didn’t mean to do it on purpose.”
You weren’t so easily convinced in her words, as you continued to stand there, glaring at your big sister, “Ou’ a fishy killer, Monks’!”
“Buddy,” Leah tried again, shaking her head, “I know you’re upset, but your big sister is very sorry for killing your fish, aren’t you, Monkey?”
“Yes,” Monkey murmured, continuing to sniffle, “I really didn’t mean it.”
“I don’ believe ‘ou,” You were truly upset about your fishy, and you were going to be so easily forgiving about it either.
“Bloomin’ hell this is like an episode of Eastenders,” Beth joked, earning a few laughs from a few people.
“Sweetheart, why don’t you say a few words about your Fishy?” Amanda stepped forward to suggest, before an argument could break out, “What was your favourite thing about him?”
You tapped your chin, thinking real hard, "He was gold."
"That’s
a good quality," Lia said, pressing her lips together to keep from laughing.
"An’ he was little,” You added.
"Also true," Kim nodded.
"And he swimmed lots," You finished proudly.
"Yeah, up until he didn’t," Kyra muttered, earning a sharp elbow from Steph.
You shot Kyra a glare but chose to move on, "I hope ou’ like da big pond in da sky, Fishy," You bowed your head, squeezing your eyes shut for a long, dramatic pause.
Monkey sniffled loudly, “I’m sorry, Buddy. Please forgive me
”
Leah clapped her hands together, “Alright, that’s enough grief for one day—”
“Wait!” You halted dramatically, sticking your hand up in the air, “We hafta put him in da ground now, Mummy!”
Leah blinked in disbelief, “Bubba, we’re not burying him in my garden.”
“But–” You tried to protest.
"We can flush him," Jordan offered gently.
You gasped in horror, “Mama! Dat so dis’pectful!"
"Buddy, fish like water. It’s like
sending him home,” Jordan explained to you in a way that you could understand.
You thought about this very hard before slowly nodding, "Okay. But I hafta do it."
And so, the whole family—every single one of them—gathered in the bathroom, packed in as tight as sardines while you stood on the step stool, holding Fishy in a tissue with the biggest pout ever.
"I’m sorry, Fishy,” Monkey sniffled dramatically,
You nodded solemnly, "Buh-bye, Fishy."
Then, with one final plop, you let him go and pressed the flush.
The whole room was silent for a moment.
And then Monkey wailed like her whole world had ended, “HE’S GONE!"
Jordan sighed but reached down, scooping you up in her arms, “You okay, little ‘un?”
You wrapped your arms around her neck, burying your face in her shoulder, “No mo’ Fishy.”
Jordan rubbed your back, “I know, sweetheart. He was a very special fish.”
Leah groaned, rubbing her face, “Buddy, we are not getting another fish.”
You gasped just as loud as Monkey, “But Mummy!”
“No, Bubba. No more fish.”
You crossed your arms, huffing, as Leah walked away. Fine. Fine.

Maybe next time, you could ask for a puppy.

───  ïœĄïŸŸâ˜†: *.☜ .* :☆. ───
"Where are we going?" You laughed, blindly following Percy as he helped you over a fallen log.
"Oh, just somewhere you'll love," He said, and winked. "At least I hope you do. Anyways, c'mon!"
The pair of you marched through the woods of the camp, laughing, talking, teasing, and enjoying moments of silence. The sun blinked lazily between branches of giant pine trees as if Apollo was comfortably stretching out on his throne.
"Here, stop here." Percy turned to you and gave you that smile that made you fall in love a little more every time you saw it. If that was even possible. "There's a pathway over here, be careful 'cause there's a lotta rocks over here."
You followed him once again, down a narrow sloping hill and arrived on a shoreline. A small oasis even. It looked like it hadn't been touched in years, moss grew over everything, the grass was bright and stood tall as if no one's footsteps had ever crushed them down yet. Waves gently lapped the rocks and few shells scattered across the ground.
"Wow," You breathed, almost as if your normal volume would disturb this angelic peace. "When did you find this, Perce?"
Percy, who was flattening the weeds to sit on, looked up. "Huh? Oh, two days ago. During capture the flag. Then I came back yesterday to make sure some monster didn't live here and now I'm showing it to you," He finished setting up his bed that would make any Demeter kid cringe. "C'mere," Percy motioned for you to lay next to him.
You smiled and made your way over to him, easing yourself down on his patch of grass. The two of you were on your stomachs, watching the water swirl into memorizing, glittering, patterns. A sweet silence filled the air.
But the water wasn't what Percy was interested in. He just kept his eyes on you, admiring the way your face lit up when you heard your favorite bird call. The way your eyes seemed to shine in the golden god's light. The smooth curve of your lips that twitched when you smiled.
You met his eyes, the sea-green hue a painting of where the sky and the sea meet.
"Do I have something on my face?" You asked, lightly teasing him to pretend you weren't about to do the same staring as he was doing now.
Percy's eyes glinted and the wisps of his hair caught the sunlight perfectly. "No, you're just the prettiest girl I've ever seen. Art's gotta be appreciated right?"
"I guess but shouldn't I be asking you that?"
"Aw hey, quit stealing my line!" He said, poking your stomach. A giggle escaped you, one Percy knew he would fight any number of monsters to hear again.
"It's not your line! Where's your copyright claim?"
Instead of answering right away, Percy wrapped his arm around your waist and pulled you close. He tucked a fly-away strand of hair out of your face and pressed his lips gently to yours. It felt like the first breath of spring, when the flowers peek from their earthly shield and remind the world that only precious things take time.
"It's right here."
And he kisses you again.

or maybe it’s love?
pairing: conrad fisher x fem!reader
warnings: angst, fluff, SMUT towards the end but it’s not much, fem receiving, conrad being cocky and hot duh CHARACTERS ARE 18
wc: 1.8k
susannah is not sick in this fic! hope y’all enjoy :)
Tumblr media
Ever since you were kids, you and conrad have had competitions every summer. It’s something that was never forgotten and the person who won got bragging rights the whole year until it was summer again. The tradition started when you were 10 and conrad was 11. It started sweet when your families visited the boardwalk but soon enough conrad was the competitive side to you, and he knew he needed to beat you in any game or challenge.
You both were now 18 and 19. You were starting your first year of college and conrad was going into his second year. He bragged in your face for getting into your dream college Brown last year and now this year, you get to brag and tell him you got into pre-med early for Brown during early admissions back in november but couldn’t tell him so you had to wait to see his reaction at dinner.
Everyone saw it but you and conrad. The whole family could see the tension between the two of you guys and your competition. It was declared that conrad had a crush on you the second year you visited cousins, laurel was the first to point it out to susannah, and then the whole family knew by the end of the summer but you and conrad didn’t believe any of it. But you wouldn’t lie, you had a crush on him and were just hoping to hate him to get rid of the schoolgirl crush.
“so y/n,” susannah began “what was the big news you wanted to share with everyone?”
“oh yes.” and put your fork down “i got into Brown pre-med.” you smiled and conrad’s fork froze with his mouth open and all you did was smirk at him “actually susannah, i got in early admissions in november. i’ve just been saving the news up for this very moment.” you gave conrad a tight-lipped smile
“that’s amazing news!” she cheered “we should celebrate with a late movie tonight!”
“a-actually we were gonna head to the country club, they are playing all the avengers movies in order,” jeremiah spoke up stopping his mom from getting too excited
“of course! we can do something tomorrow night.” she gasped “oh gosh connie, that means y/n will be going to school with you!”
“yep.” he moved some food around on his plate not looking up
“don’t sound too excited connie.” you mocked and he rolled his eyes without looking up at you
“yippee, what do you want? a golden star?” he huffed and pushed out his chair before leaving the table
“y/n it’s the first night, lay low.” laurel said from her spot at the table
“you know whoever gets the first point basically wins the summer, it’s guaranteed.”
“you and you’re little competition,” she muttered
After dinner, it was time to head to the country club for the movie. It was only a few people who got invited to the place so you all fit into the movie room. You brought a blanket with you because you know it gets cold there. You all filed into the room once cam arrived and sat down. You went for the top to have some space for yourself. But before you could do that conrad plopped his body in the chair next to you.
“no, absolutely not.” you groaned
“there’s nowhere else for me to sit.” you glanced down and there was a seat next to taylor and steven
“literally right there!” you gestured to the spot
“and watch them make out all night, no thanks.” he reclined the chair back and put the middle console up so there was more room for y’all
“why would you put that up?”
“because it’s a waste of space and my elbow runs into it.” you huffed and fell back into your seat “so, Brown huh?” why was he being nice?
“yeah, so what?” you looked at him but he was looking at cam who was trying to use the remote to get the movie started
“nothing, just congrats. i know you have been wanting to get in your whole life.”
“thanks,” you whispered not used to getting compliments from him
“i’ll still beat your ass at everything there though.” and he was back
“yeah right dumbass.” he flicked your forehead “ow!”
“you’re the dumbass when i get a higher gpa than you.”
“like that’s even possible! you know i’m already ahead of you.”
“you can’t process any information in that pretty little head of yours!”
“you can’t because you’re too busy drinking all the damn time!” you yelled back
“at least i can relax-“
“guys!” jeremiah yelled throughout the whole room “shut the fuck up for once! y’all have to come help with snacks.” you both sighed and got out of your seats. you passed by steven and he winked which you flipped him off
“that was your fault,” you muttered walking past him as he held the door for you—so kind—
“oh yeah, sure drama queen.”
You both followed jere to the kitchen and he opened one of the doors for all of the snacks in a closet before waving at you both and closing the door.
“five minutes to work out whatever is happening and then i’m coming back so we can start the movie!” he yelled locking the door
“fuck you jere!” conrad let out but his brother was long gone “this is all your fault.” he walked around the room. the only light was the upper one that was slowly running out of juice
“oh yeah sure it's all my fault!” you sassed back
“if you would just shut up about always being the better one then we would never be here.”
“oh and you’re so great conrad?” stopped about 10 feet away from you on the other side of the closet
“i mean i won our little contest 5 years in a row so i should get a nice pat on the back.” he shrugged
“you’re so full of yourself.” you laughed
“thank you. i appreciate that.”
“it wasn’t a compliment asshole.” you went and tried opening the door but it was in fact locked
“do you not want to be trapped in a room with me y/n?”
“no, you should have an illness that could spread to me through the air.” you turned to look at him “why can you just let me win, for one time in my life i want to have something to be proud of conrad!” he was taken back by your statement “i never get anything! i have to watch it all get ripped from me and compared to something better! i can never win anything! and you and your rude comebacks don’t help!” you ran your fingers through your hair “belly gets volleyball captain and a new fancy boyfriend, steven get taylor, jeremiah gets into a frat and has a girlfriend! i got pre-med, which is amazing but it’s nothing compared to yo-“ you mouth was shut. no, you didn’t just stop talking. there were hands on either side of your face and lips pressed against yours that were definitely not your lips but conrad’s he kissed you hard and you let your eyes close and fall into the kiss as you kissed him back softly and when he pulled back he looked into your eyes
“shut up.” he breathed out “you are amazing, okay? i’m sorry for the fucking competitions. it was the only way i got to spend time with you.” you were starstruck maybe this was a dream “you’re too good for me, you’re too smart, too beautiful, overall i feel like i should never be seen with you because you’re too good for me.”
“kiss me.” he blinked at you “kiss me again conrad.” he smiled before kissing you again backing you up into a shelf and holding your face tight. you brought one hand to run through his hair and the second one slowly lifted his shirt so you could slip your hand under and feel his skin and he shuttered under you “sorry, are my hands cold?” you didn’t stop feeling around his stomach and chest area which made him breathe out a long breath
“no it feels nice, different.” he moved back down to your lips and your hand slowly went around his body but you two were cut off my knocking on the door
“times up shitheads!” you moved away from each other and conrad fixed his shirt and hair before stepping out of the room and you followed. you made it back into your seats and cam started the movie switching the lights off. conrad’s cheeks were flushed in the darkness as he took some of your blanket from you to cover him and you
The movie went on and everyone was in their own place. Conrad slowly moved his hand to rust on your thigh and you froze as his hand moved towards the waistband of your pants. You looked at him but he was just looking at the screen. His fingers messed with the waistband before going past your shorts and underwear. You slowly moved closer to him and his hand was extremely close to your clit. Before you could say anything he took one of his fingers to rub it softly and you gasped, but no one looked back thinking you were doing it at the movie.
“you have to be quiet,” he muttered into your ear before continuing his movements over your clit faster this time making you open your legs for him
“con,” you laid your head on his shoulder not trusting your head to stay up and he moved slowly to your entrance sliding a finger up feeling the effect he has on you
“i’ve always wanted to do this.” he then slid one finger into you and his thumb rested on your clit adding pressure to the pleasure
“fuck.” he moved his finger in and out feeling the breathing from you on his neck and he was slowly getting hard under the blanket hoping no one could see “another.” you sighed digging your fingernails into his arm and he slid a second finger in moving faster in and out rubbing your clit and he also used another finger to pinch it causing you to jump
“careful.” he moved his hand faster now wanting you to finish, just from him and him alone. “come on baby.” he kissed your head “give it to me” he rubbed your clit harder and his fingers moved faster you could definitely hear the wet sounds if the movie was not at an intense moment
“cumming.” you bit down on his neck cumming on his fingers as he slid them in and out to let you go through your high before pulling them out and slowly bringing his fingers to suck on them “my gosh.” you looked up at him
“if it isn’t clear now, i’m done playing games with you.” he leaned toward you almost enough to kiss
“me too, no more games.”

mirrors II Jenni Hermoso x Reader
Tumblr media
masterlist I word count: 938
a/n: hi, the inspiration came from the request here. We'd love to hear your thoughts on this one. <3
It was October. And everyone, football players and fans alike, knew what that meant.
The best of the best were about to be honoured at the Ballon d’Or Award ceremony.
Even as a sports journalist, this was a very special night and you felt honoured to be invited amongst all those big names in the audience.
There was just one face that you could have done without seeing. And of course you were seated right next to each other.
You let your gaze wander across the room, trying not be intimidated by the amount of men in suits surrounding you. Majorly to ignore her.
Someone on stage was about to hold an acceptance speech and you hoped that it would shut her up but no, of course not.
“Come on, you know we’d look cute together.“
You didn’t even have to look at her, the smirk basically vibrated in her voice. You sighed. Apparently she couldn’t behave anywhere. Every time you met, she tried to flirt with you.
Slowly you turned towards her and whispered: “Jennifer. We’re at an award ceremony.“
“Yes, and you look gorgeous in that suit. It goes well with my dress.“, she replied quietly and casually slipped her hand onto your thigh.
For a second you cursed yourself for choosing your dark green suit. The colour was too similar to Jennis floor-length gown and made it look like you intentionally matched.
You slapped her hand away and glared at the football player: “Shh, I’m trying to listen here.“
Turning back towards the stage, you tried to follow what the laureate had to say while jotting down notes for yore next article into a small notebook on your lap.
You shivered as you felt Jennis warm breath against your ear.
“As if they had anything important to say anyway.“, she complained, rolling her eyes.
You gave up on listening and instead considered Jenni. “Men love to talk. But so do you.“
She shrugged: “At least I have something useful to say.“
“You’re flirting.“, you stated, unimpressed by her attempts at maintaining a conversation.
“And?“
“And I really need to write that article.“, you replied, your voice rising with slight anger.
When she leaned over to snatch the notebook from your lap, you had to stop yourself from yelling at her. Instead you hissed at her: “Excuse me?!“
Jenni waved the book around nonchalantly and pouted: “Now you’re just making excuses to ignore me.“
“I’m not.”, you disagreed heavily while simultaneously trying to get your working utensils back.
Maybe it was time for you to abandon your scribbling on paper in exchange for only writing things down on your smartphone or laptop you thought to yourself as the forward wasn’t showing any sign to hand the notebook back to you.
“What do you want?”, you sighed tired of her childish behaviour.
“For you to finally acknowledge that we look hot together.”, she revealed with a devilish grin on her lips.
“You don’t give up easily, huh?”, you replied, your voice couldn’t hide the growing frustration you felt towards her.
“I never give up actually.”, Jenni admitted in a serious tone.
Abruptly you stood up from the chair. The intensity of her green eyes looking at you was getting too much to handle.
“I’m going to the bathroom.”, you announced.
Much to your own surprise the Spaniard decided to follow you. “Coming.”, she responded giddily.
“Fine.”, you muttered.
“Go.”, Jenni said, while brushing your back with her hand. Normally you would say this was purely an accident, but the Spanish footballer certainly did that purposeful.
Once you reached the bathroom you let out an impressed whistle.
“This is really fancy here.”
Your gaze wandered around the interior: the mirrors were large, and everything looked like marble with golden highlights. It screamed expensive. Something you were still not used to as you grew up under rather poor circumstances.
“It’s a bathroom.”, Jenni chuckled amused.
“Still. Besides I don’t remember inviting you inside with me.”, you remarked.
“It’s a public bathroom. I’m allowed to be here.”, she reminded you smiling smugly.
“You’re lucky you’re hot. Although your big mouth.”, you begun.
“This mouth can do even more.”, the forward claimed, closing the gap between the two of you confidently while swaying her hips in a suggestive manner.
“Yes, I’ve heard about it, you’ve got quite a reputation.”, you answered cooly.
“I do?”, Jenni raised an eyebrow, pretending to be scandalized.
“Yes.”, you affirmed.
“Want to find out if it’s true what they say?”, she gave you a challenging look impatiently waiting for your response.
“I always want to know the true story behind a rumour.”, you confessed playfully, her glances almost left you breathless.
“Then don’t move.”, the forward demanded.
“I won’t.”, you assured her.
“Good.”, Jenni nodded satisfied while brushing her lips first against your cheek before wandering down to your lips until she finally kissed you.
There was an intensity and hunger to the kiss which almost knocked off your feet if you haven’t been sitting next to the luxurious water taps.
The older woman knew what she was doing, the rumours turned out to be an understatement in your opinion.
For a second you caught the reflection of the two of you kissing in the big mirror. You both were breathtaking as a couple.
“Maybe you’re right.”, you mumbled against her mouth.
“I told you we looked good together.”, Jenni smirked triumphantly.
In this case the mirrors didn’t lie it reflected the desire you both had for each other. While the men held their speeches and felt very important you had found something much more meaningful.

In the Golden Cheese Kingdom, there’s the coliseum where the Brave Gang have to fight their way out while cookies watch for entertainment. Could I request a scenario where Y/N Cookie is traveling with the Brave Gang (Black Raisin, Gingerbrave, Wizard, Strawberry) and Y/N is absolutely stoked to fight in the coliseum being extremely overconfident and excited for any challenge from the coliseum. I’d like to see the reactions from Mozzarella, Smoked Cheese, and Cheesenbird as well to the peculiar joy of Y/N
Tumblr media
The crowd roared with their cheering and shouts of excitement, ready to see the monsters duke it out amongst each other within the colosseum.
You, Gingerbrave, Wizard, Strawberry, and Black Raisin had made your way there for the Monster Games, determined to see if Golden Cheese would make her appearance.
Tumblr media
“There’s so many Cookies that gathered to watch the monster fight, huh Y/N Cookie?”
You were too busy having your eyes dart around the various monsters, growling and thrashing at their caged cells. Mouths adorned with sharp teeth that want nothing more then to tear into whatever they get a grip on.
Afraid? Nervous? Head out the way you came?
No.
You. Were. Excited

Tumblr media
“Instead of trembling in fear, these Cookies reverse the invaders’ aggression on each other! Pretty smart, in my book!”
Tumblr media
“I-Is Y/N Cookie okay? They look to be twitching a lot
”
“Y/N Cookie? Where are you going?!”
You dashed towards the center of the colosseum as you brandished your golden blade, the colosseum lights making it shine.
You called out to whoever was in charge and listening that you wanted to face the monstrous horde! You’ve handle every caliber of creature Earthbread had thrown at you and these monsters will join them in the dirt!
“Y/N Cookie! What’s the plan here?!”
Tumblr media
“Hang on, Y/N Cookie might be onto something here. By fighting the monsters, we’re creating chaos in the arena. Doing that has to bring Golden Cheese Cookie out to see what’s going on.”
Black Raisin runs to the center and goes to Y/N Cookie’s side, holding their hand as she hyped up their appearance in the colosseum.
“EVERYONE, OVER HERE! WE’VE COME FROM THE OUTSIDE TOO! ALLOW US TO FIGHT THE MONSTERS! TONIGHT, VICTORY WILL BE OURS!”
Tumblr media
“Oh? It looks like we have new unexpected contenders! Especially that joyful one with the sword, hehe~ How overconfident and so sure of themself, yet so brave and intriguing~ I’ll place all my coins on them~”
Tumblr media
“Too overconfident
especially from a cookie that came from the outside. An outlander
I’d like to come down there and wipe the smile off their face myself
”
“They don’t seem to be overselling themself to me, maybe they really are that strong. Or is that just an excuse to get up close and personal with them~? I wouldn’t blame you~”
“That’s NOT what I meant
”
The two would then glance at you, still boasting about your strength and determination to tear through the groups of monsters in waiting. Mozzarella’s smile only grew wider as Smoked Cheese’s glare got harsher
but couldn’t help giving a small smirk himself.
Tumblr media
“And if they do get bruised, I shall give them lotz of healingz! Chirp! Chirp!”
Black Raisin turned to you as she gripped your hand tighter, nodding to you as you did the same to her.
“Time to wreak havoc!”
———————————————————————
Adventurer Cookie was startled when Olive Cookie suddenly tear the text in her hands, Olive herself was taken aback by what she did.
Tumblr media
“Woah! What happened?!”
Tumblr media
“I-I don’t know! I think the olive oil made my hand slip!”

Shitty days at work were unfortunately common for you. The insurance company you worked for was understaffed, and the few staff members you had weren’t exactly the brightest. As the department head, you had a lot of decisions to make, lots of responsibility. You often went home with weighted shoulders and headaches that even the strongest dose of medicine couldn’t seem to get rid of. Sometimes you wouldn’t get home until it was dark out, pulling overtime.
It was a Thursday night, and you had (once again) come home hours late. Your wonderful wife had already ate the dinner she prepared and saved your share in the refrigerator after you had sent her a text saying you wouldn’t be home in time to enjoy it. You trudged through the house, feeling absolutely drained. Your bedroom door opened to reveal the soft, golden glow of your wife’s bedside lamp. She sat on her side of the bed, already bathed and dressed down in her pajamas. When she heard the door, her head tilted up and she greeted you with a smile that made the weight on your back feel a little lighter.
“Hi, love. How was work?” Jihyo asked you, sitting up straighter.
“Terrible as always, but I’m home now,” you shrugged with a smile, already peeling off your coat. You let it drop to the floor carelessly while your wife’s smile faltered. She turned the TV volume down, wanting to focus on her conversation with you. She listened to you go on and on about work and how annoying it was. How much stress you were under every day, and how you were tired of it all. Her eyes followed you as you went to the bathroom, and she watched you pull your hair down from the clip you held it in all day. You cleaned off your face and rubbed in your favorite moisturizer. You stripped down to your undergarments and walked around the room, still venting about work as you picked out what pajama set you would wear after your bath.
And as you paused to gather your thoughts, you stopped at the side of your bed to put your phone on its charger. Jihyo smiled gently at you, admiring how cute you looked when you were mad. The crease forming between your brows and the subtle pout to your lips was adorable.
“I’m sorry, honey. Remember, the holidays are coming up. And after you get your bonus, you can look for a new job!” Your wife was always one to see the positives in everything. The one to remind you that the grass is greener on the other side of any tough situation you faced. You were beyond grateful for her.
“I know, love. It’s just- I have to get through the now before the holidays,” you laughed softly, shaking your head as you sighed heavily. When you met your wife’s eyes again, there was a new expression in them.
“Maybe we can take your mind off of work for a little while?”
The question was innocent, but the events that took place after were not so innocent. Jihyo had mastered the art of being a wonderful wife, and one of the things she was best at was caring for you—in every sense of the word. She knew how to make you feel better in any way she could. And right now, she decided love making was the best way to clear your mind.
So she laid you down on the bed, parting your legs for herself to slot between them. And once her pelvis was seated over yours, she began rocking her hips. Your folds grew slick under her own, the skin rubbing against each other.
“How does that feel, baby? Is it just what you needed?” she asked you, using her free hand to push her hair out of her face as she looked down at you. Your eyes were shut so you could focus on the pleasurable high you were chasing, but you nodded.
“Uh huh,” you choked out, hands gripping desperately at her thigh. She smiled at your eagerness, hurrying her pace as she started to feel her own release building up. She loved scissoring with you, and she especially loved being on top. Though there were no specific roles in your relationship, she did secretly enjoy being the “leader”. She liked having someone to rely on her. She liked being the one to make decisions. She liked taking the weight off your shoulders and helping you whenever and however she could. It made her feel powerful and needed.
“Are you gonna let go and cum for mommy?” she asked you, grinding her weeping cunt against yours. She groaned as your clits touched over and over, sending electricity throughout your bodies.
“Yes. Yes. Yes, oh-,” your words were cut off as you were overwhelmed with pleasure. Jihyo’s pussy slid against yours, sending you reeling as she stared down at you with the most wicked glint in her eye. Like she knew she was doing everything right, and she loved watching you snap.
Your hands reached up, pawing at her voluptuous breasts until she mercifully leaned down to kiss your neck. This gave you easier access to knead and play with her boobs, your palms squishing her sensitive nipples. The little moans and whines she let out by your ear only made you wetter, and she could feel it. She was doing it on purpose.
“That’s my girl,” she cooed, kissing your jaw, “Cumming for mommy when you’re told. So proud of you.”
You smiled into the kiss she graced your lips with, melting underneath her. Every ounce of worry and any stressful thought in your mind was gone. She knew her job was done, and successfully so.

a lesson in betrayal.
Tumblr media
There had been a new person residing around the village for a while, and Kabukimono had come to learn his name was Escher. He was a mechanic from Fontaine, and apparently, he had come to Tatarasuna to do something with the Mikage Furnace. It seemed that he was helping to make it better and more efficient. The puppet wasn’t too sure of the exact details.
For some reason though, you didn’t like Escher, something he didn’t understand. Kabukimono had even overheard you whispering to Niwa about the mechanic. He wasn’t sure why, the man seemed like a nice guy! The Fontainian would always somehow spot him from afar and try to strike up a conversation. But you would always snatch him away before he could get near. You didn’t like the way he smiled, you said. Although Kabukimono couldn’t quite understand fully, he
did at the same time. Escher had some kind of
eerie aura to him. The puppet couldn’t quite put his finger on it.
Regardless, Kabukimono didn’t care too much anyway. The mechanic wasn’t someone he was interested in, and he wanted to respect your wishes. If someone as intelligent as you said to avoid him, then he probably should. So, he didn’t think about Escher for a long time, much more content with enjoying life with you.
But recently, things hadn’t been as nice lately. The furnace was not working as it should be. It was spreading harmful, fatal gas to the area and even killing people. Kabukimono was scared. Seeing his fellow friends and villagers die hurt his sensitive heart terribly, and he didn’t know what to do. You and Niwa were also struggling with the situation. When he asked about any updates, you always forced a smile and held him close to your chest, combing your fingers through his hair and not responding.
Kabukimono knew he had to do something. For Tatarasuna, for his friends, for Niwa, for you.
“I’m going to Inazuma City,” Kabukimono said one day, all of a sudden, surprising you greatly.
“Huh? What do you mean?”
“I’m going to go to the city,” he repeated, “and talk to my mo-, the Shogun with my golden feather. Maybe she can help us.”
You remained silent for a moment. You knew of the complicated relationship your lover held with the Electro Archon. But you could not bring yourself to stop him. Kabukimono had that look of resolution in his eye, and this was his decision. As his devoted lover, you were in no place to refute him.
“Alright, Kabukimono. Come here then,” the puppet tilted his head curiously before following you to your shared bedroom. You made him sit at the dresser in front of the mirror before taking out the special comb and working through any knots in his hair. He seemed to be confused, but he relaxed at the sensation of your skilled fingers stroking his long hair.
“If you’re going to meet the Shogun, you should prepare. So, practice with me, love. What are you going to say?”
“I’m going to say
please help the people of Tatarasuna. We need your help otherwise the situation will get worse and everyone will
” his voice trailed off. “And I have so many people I care about here, and I don’t want to see anyone else get hurt. So please help.” You patted his head comfortingly.
“Good. You’re doing amazing, love. You can do this,” you whispered, moving your hands up and down his shoulders. You redid his red eyeliner and gave him the cleanest pair of clothing you had just washed, not a single speck of dust to be seen on his white outfit. It was time for him to leave, but you could not help but be reluctant to your lover’s departure. Kabukimono, ever growing more aware of human emotions, noticed and attempted to comfort you by intertwining his fingers with yours.
“Don’t worry about me, [Name]. I’m going to be back soon, and I’ll bring help with me. Everything will be okay,” he clumsily reassured you and squeezed your hands. A slight smile grew on your face as you squeezed back.
“Kabukimono,” you pecked his forehead. “I love you more than anything.” Despite the situation, the puppet could not help but go a bit soft.
“I love you more, [Name],” he responded without hesitation before kissing you on the lips. The kiss felt melancholic somehow, even though you two knew you would see each other again. This was just a few days of separation. You had hope, and so did he. You placed one last kiss on his cheek before you sent him on his way, waving him goodbye.
Little did he know that would be the last time he saw you ever again.
—
When you heard a knock at your door, you jumped up to your feet and nearly sprinted to the door. It had been a few days since your beloved Kabukimono had left for Inazuma City, and you were growing antsy waiting for his return.
What you were not expecting was the Fontainian mechanic to be standing at your doorstep with a smile. Your heart dropped immediately but you forced an uncomfortable smile on your face.
“Escher,” you greeted, trying not to let your emotions show on your face. “What do you need?”
“No pleasantries [Name]? How cruel of you,” he chuckled and you could only fake laugh in response. To be honest, you wanted to keep this conversation as short as possible, for you and Niwa had great suspicions regarding the Fontainian. In fact, you thought he wasn’t from Fontaine at all. But you didn’t want to let him know that now. You were relying on Niwa to deal with that kind of stuff.
“Oh
my apologies. You know, I’ve just been on edge for a few days, with the furnace situation and all.” Escher appeared to smile in
 agreement with your statement.
“Ah, I know exactly what you mean. Dreadful situation, really,” he nodded. You felt like he wasn’t being sincere in the slightest. “I’ve come to ask, is it true that puppet has gone to Inazuma City?” You raised an eyebrow at his question.
“Kabukimono,” you repeated his name, “has indeed gone there. He’s trying to seek an audience with the Shogunate to get help for us.” Escher hummed in acknowledgment.
“I see. Niwa said the same thing,” you perked up at the mention of your friend’s name.
“Niwa? You’ve seen him? He’s actually supposed to be meeting me here soon, but I haven’t received any word from him.”
“Oh, you’ll be meeting Niwa shortly. He’s on his way,” Escher replied. Although that seemed like a normal statement, it felt very ominous to you.
“Um
alright. Thanks,” you mumbled hesitantly. “If that’s all
”
“Say, if I may be so intrusive, what do you find interesting about the Shogun’s puppet?” The question caught you off guard.
“Excuse me?”
“Please, do indulge my curiosity. The puppet lacks the ability to understand humans and the world around him, and he does not possess a heart, nor does he have any exceptional qualities. As a researcher, I simply find the relationship intriguing.” You furrowed your eyebrows at his words and resisted the urge to slap him.
“Kabukimono has plenty of wonderful qualities,” you rebuked. “He’s selflessly kind, caring, and helpful to all, even to those who don’t need to deserve it. He may not understand humans to the fullest extent, but he can laugh, smile, and cry with them. He’s trying to be better every day. That’s something most people can’t say.” You don’t know why you were trying so hard to defend Kabukimono and yourself against someone who probably wouldn’t understand a fraction of what you were saying, but you felt the need to do so anyway.
“And for the record, Kabukimono does possess a heart. It may not be physical, but it surely exists. I’ve seen it with my own two eyes,” you declared resolutely. You’ve always believed Kabukimono did not need to fret over not having a heart in his chest. The heart he owned was something far more beautiful, portrayed by his kindness and care for others. But, your seriousness was met with a bout of laughter from Escher. He seemed positively amused, and you instinctively shrunk back since he seemed completely mad.
His laughter suddenly made your body shiver with a horrible feeling, so you quickly tried to slam the door in his face when Escher suddenly moved faster than your eyes and brain could see or comprehend. An overwhelming pain coursed through your body, and when you looked down there was a rapidly growing bloody stain seeping through your clothes, dripping on the floor. Your eyes widened as you stumbled back, falling from the floor as you clutched your severe injury with pain.
“You
 damn you
Niwa was right about you,” you struggled to breathe and forced the words out. “What are you
planning?” The smile on “Escher’s” face never seemed to leave as he brushed you off.
“What an interesting response. I found your little love game quite amusing. Really, the idea of a human loving a puppet was entertaining to watch.”
“Wha
what? How dare you?” You seethed despite being on the verge of blacking out from your injuries. “Our love was real. It doesn’t matter if he was human or not. Those things don’t matter when it comes to love. And not everyone wants to use other people, unlike you. Some people,” you scowled and coughed out some blood, “actually care about others regardless of any other factors. And I cared for him, no matter what.” The mechanic’s smile only grew as he chuckled at your response.
“What a beautiful way to see this world. It almost makes me feel a little bit bad
but do not worry. You will be joining Niwa shortly
and your beloved puppet will be left in good hands.”
The last thing your eyes saw was the malicious grin of Escher, but the last thing you saw as your eyes fluttered shut was the beautiful smile of your Kabukimono. In your last moments, you prayed and hoped to whatever would be willing to take pity on you, that Kabukimono would not believe the lies of this man. That he would see that your love for him was always true and that you would never betray him under any circumstances.
Your last wish was left unfulfilled.
—
Meanwhile, Kabukimono came to the conclusion that the Shogunate had turned their backs on Tatarasuna and its people. The feeling was nothing new to the puppet, having been betrayed by his own mother, but it still served as a painful reminder of reality for him. So, the trip was a complete waste of time that only served to cause him more despair, and he had left you alone for no reason. But now, he was back in Tatarasuna. He wondered if you and Niwa had come up with a solution by now.
However, upon his arrival, Kabukimono was greeted by Escher instead. The mechanic, ever smiling, gave him a device that would help him absorb the Tatarigami and save Tatarasuna. The puppet only heard “save Tatarasuna.” If Tatarasuna was safe, then you would be safe and happy. Niwa too. Everyone would be okay, and everything would go back to normal eventually. It would take some time, but the peaceful, slow days he loved to spend with you would soon return. So, with his love for you as his motivation, Kabukimono took the device and headed into the hazardous furnace with hopes of a better future in mind.
—
The process of absorbing the Tatarigami was exhausting for Kabukimono, but he had done it. He felt as if he could barely walk straight after the arduous process. As he stumbled out of the furnace, Escher was waiting for him, who quickly concealed his sick grin at the sight of the puppet.
“It seems as though you have succeeded. How wonderful,” the mechanic seemingly congratulated him. Kabukimono didn’t need his words right now. All he wanted was to go back home to you. You were surely so worried about him right now. He was worried about you too, having been apart from you for a while. But something gnawed at Kabukimono’s curiosity. The device Escher had given him made him feel strange. It had protected him from the dangers of the furnace, yet it was just
odd. The puppet had to question the mechanic as to what was in it before he returned to you.
“This device
what is in it? I think it protected me,” Kabukimono mumbled, fatigue slurring his words. Kabukimono missed the mechanic’s slight psychotic grin at his question, already having his schemes and lies planned out.
“Your dear [Name] volunteered themselves for this. Were it not for them, the purification device would not have worked,” Escher shook with head with faux sadness. Kabukimono instantly froze and ran cold. All the heavy exhaustion and aches that plagued Kabukimono’s body dissipated into nothingness at those few words, replaced by sheer adrenaline fueled by fear.
“What? What do you mean by that?” Kabukimono shot up straight, panic and confusion seeping through him. Escher cracked open the device, and it was then Kabukimono’s body was assaulted with dread. There lay a withered heart. Bile crept up to the puppet’s throat as he staggered back at the horrific sight. Escher continued on as if this was nothing special.
“Indeed, the poor thing,” Kabukimono was too shocked to pick up on the mechanic’s mocking tone, “The device could have worked without the heart, but you would not be able to survive. And so they sacrificed themselves which Niwa and the others agreed to before fleeing. It’s their last gift to you,” Escher lied effortlessly, weaving a false tale for the sake of manipulating the once-innocent puppet further. He knew that the puppet would be too hurt and confused by your death to question him about the validity of his statements. It was his fate to be betrayed, to be used, the disguised Harbinger wanted to drill into him.
Kabukimono opened his mouth and then closed it, and then tried to speak again but no words could come out. Your heart did not even resemble a heart anymore, now black and discolored and no longer beating. Kabukimono could not bring himself to think that was your heart, because your heart would be a beautiful one, a pure one from how wonderful a person you were. And your heart would be in your chest, so he could listen to your heartbeat to fall asleep at night. Surely, something like that could not belong to you? Because that would mean you are
 you are
the one word he cannot bring himself to even think of.
“You’re
you’re lying,” the words that leave the puppet’s mouth take a great amount of energy, energy that he wouldn’t have had normally but his concern for you was far deeper than his bodily needs. “You’re lying!” Kabukimono slowly grew more animated from his initial horror. “[Name] is waiting for me. They’re waiting for me at home!” The eccentric could only repeat his words over and over again, for his poor mind could not compose anything else at this moment.
“Oh? If you don’t believe me, you’re free to-” Before Escher could finish his sentence, Kabukimono turned and took off in the opposite direction with speed even he could not have expected. To think that he could work up that much stamina after absorbing all of the filth in the furnace. He was truly a God’s creation.
“Oh my. Perhaps I should have left the body there for him to see too,” the mechanic smiled to himself as he shifted back to his regular form. “The face of what should have been an emotionless puppet after losing everything he holds dear
 an interesting experiment indeed.”
—
Kabukimono’s speed rivaled the time he ran when you were hurt. He ran as fast as his puppet joints would take him, ignoring the stinging of his knees from tripping and falling, ignoring all the pain he had just endured from the furnace, and immediately launching himself back up to continue sprinting. He wouldn’t believe it. He couldn’t believe it, no, he can’t, for if you are gone, what was the point of this world? You are his light, his everything, his whole world, and perhaps even part of his will to live after his betrayal and trauma. So no, you simply cannot be dead. You still had to be here.
He reassures himself through haggard pants due to overexertion. He’s going to reach your house soon. When he arrives, the view will be beautiful. First, he’ll see you waiting there patiently for him, and then you’ll jump up and wave to him excitedly. He will see the Lavender Melon tree bearing juicy fruits, but you’ll be there to swat his hand away playfully and tell him they’re still not ready yet. He’ll see you take his hand and lead him into the kitchen. The two of you will eat some home-cooked food together, and you’ll kiss his forehead and praise him for how hard-working he was today. Since he was so tired, you’ll take a long, lovely, bath with him, washing away all the fatigue he’s built up in his body. Of course, he’ll do the same for you. Lastly, you two will be cuddling together and tickling each other under the blankets playfully, giggles filling the room, since the situation has been resolved. It will be simply wonderful, Kabukimono thinks. It will be okay. It will be okay. It will be okay.
Finally, the puppet makes it to the familiar path leading to your house. His senses do not notice the sight or scent of the smoke yet, far too disconnected from reality at the moment, his thoughts only occupied with you. Again, he thinks it will be okay. Everything will be alright. Then, Kabukimono came to a screeching halt in a matter of seconds.
Your house and everything around it was on fire.
Kabukimono paused to look at it, hues of orange, red, and yellow dancing and engraving themselves into his memories. He stood there, mouth slightly agape. He wanted so badly for this all to be a dream, a hallucination. He didn’t want this to be real. Yet with how badly his senses were assaulted, Kabukimono knew deep down that this was reality. Another blink, and he scrambled from his spot and into the inside of the burning house, completely ignoring the possibility of injury. Ignoring the fact that you were most likely no longer alive.
Everything was up in flames. He noticed everything you had was virtually gone, burnt to crisps. The rooms of the house had become unrecognizable, nothing more than burnt pieces of wood and its decorations now disfigured. Soot began to cover his once pure white clothing, but he paid no mind. Kabukimono rushed into every room of his home anyway, ignoring the licking of flames against his body, trying to distinguish anything that wasn’t ruined. Trying to find you, because he still refused to believe any of this was real. Refusing to believe that the kitchen table was now a pile of scorched wood. Refusing to believe the once soft and fluffy rugs and blankets were now burnt wool. Refusing to believe that the futon was reduced to nothing more than holes. Refusing to believe that now you were nothing more than a
 corpse.
Desperation had overtaken the puppet’s incoherent mind. He dug through the piles of burnt furniture and items and wood with his bare hands, ignoring the stinging and burning it did to his fair skin, in hopes that for some reason he would find you there. He trashed the remains even more than they had been damaged by the fire, fueled by sheer anguish and desolation until nothing had been left untouched. He found nothing.
You were
 not here
 you were
gone. The realization made his knees buckle as he crumpled to the floor in agony. You were truly
dead. Death meant he would never be able to see you again. Death meant none of your smiles, your laughs, your hugs and kisses, and reassurance. Death meant your love was gone. And all of these memories too were nothing but ashes now. Kabukimono’s skin felt like it was on fire. Yet inside, the puppet felt cold. Very cold. A coldness he hadn’t felt since his first betrayal

This wasn’t just a house. It was his home. He had finally found a home. A home with you. Somewhere he was accepted. Loved. A place where he thought he had a heart. But you

You betrayed him too, the puppet thought, as he bawled his eyes out, screaming and crying and wailing long after his throat went hoarse, ignoring the raging fires and smoke around him. But you promised him. You promised him so many things. To celebrate many birthdays with him, to teach him new recipes, lots of words, and new traditions and holidays. To marry him. How dare you, how dare you break your promise to him
? Was this all a hoax, a lie? Why?
Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why? Why?
For what seemed like ages, that word was the only thing that ran through Kabukimono’s thoughts, staring blankly into space. The tears still fell and stained his cheeks, but the puppet had quelled his sobbing. As he stared mindlessly, images of you flashed through his mind, yet they began to fade away into nothingness. Your laughter faintly rang in his ears, but it soon turned to silence.
Kabukimono could not keep track of how long he sat in the fire. Eventually, he got up and stumbled out of the burning stack of wood, almost like a newborn baby who was learning how to walk. Lost and unsure, needing guiding support from a loved one. Only that you were no longer there to provide that for him.
It was then that Kabukimono realized the truth of this world, leaving behind his “heart” in the ashy remains of his old home.
Love? Love meant nothing but an eternity of deception. It was a lie, he seethed internally. Such worldly filth was what caused his chest to ache so terribly now, and those disgusting and weak tears to fall from his eyes, his throat to be choked up and clogged. Opening himself up to love was the same as opening himself up to torment and betrayal. And therefore, the puppet vowed that day to remove every human emotion from his being. If he did, then maybe one day he could forget about the endless pain your death caused him. With one swift motion, his long hair was no more, instead lying in clumps around his feet.
Kabukimono died with you that day, never to be seen again.

for fictober could I request from the 50 autumnal prompts ‘when he wears THAT flannel’ with Eddie please?
we were so robbed of Eddie all boyfriend in soft cosy clothes. R wouldn’t be able to keep their hands off of him and he’d love it come autumn when it’s all he wears.
ugh imagine him in like thick baggy sweaters and when he reaches up it just exposes a bit of tummy 😍 I’m like a Victorian seeing ankles
love you xoxo
hi angel! idk how i managed to make this angsty, but alas! hope you like it :D
summary: you and eddie try to get used to life post-vecna but it's not nearly as easy as you thought it'd be (post st4, established relationship, wee bit of angst tw for mentions of death and scars, 1.2k)
fictober (㇏(â€ąÌ€á”„á”„â€ąÌ)ノ)
Eddie’s pretty much recovered by mid-fall.
Not totally. But mostly.
You think getting away from Hawkins helped the most — moving out of the city and settling further in the green. Even though everyone back home eventually understood that Eddie wasn’t the psycho-killing freak they made him out to be, things had changed far too much to ever go back to normal again.
Something’s break beyond repair. Something’s just can’t be fixed.
Not your Eddie, though. Eddie’s perfect. Damn near it, anyway, considering the circumstances.
He’s still got the nightmares and the phantom pains — even though he tells you he doesn’t. But he’s graduated now and helping Wayne at the car shop whenever he can. He’s taking the newfound normalcy in stride, spending early autumn with you and making you hot chocolate like nothing ever happened.
“You like marshmallows in your cocoa, right?” he calls from the kitchen, though he sounds like he’s talking mostly to himself.
You hear him, but you forget to answer. Your brain all but short circuits at how pretty he looks.
You eye him from the couch while he bustles in the kitchen, and gutwrenching existentialism knocks the wind from your lungs like a fist to the stomach.
You weren’t supposed to have Eddie again. You weren’t supposed to share a home like you always dreamed about, and he wasn’t supposed to make you hot cocoa or keep you warm when autumn got too bitter.
A season or more ago, you were saying your goodbyes while he bled out in an alternate dimension.
You haven’t yet forgotten how pale his skin had gotten or how glassy his chocolate eyes grew as the life spilled from the weeping bites on his stomach. The feeling of his blood, slimy on your hands and drenching your clothes, hasn’t yet left you. The red-hot blood in the unnatural navy blue cold still lives in your head.
But it’s only there. In your head.
And Eddie’s right in front of you — wild hair, baggy pajama pants, and all. You can smell the musk of his cologne and the floral of his shampoo. He’s real enough to touch.
He’s real.
The realization hits you every day, all the time. It wells from your chest up into your throat and makes you feel like crying. Most people don’t get to say goodbye to their soulmate and eat Wednesday morning breakfast with them months later.
You’ve got so much gratitude inside you, bursting like golden rays of sunshine, that you don’t know what to do with it all.
“Babe?” he calls again when you don’t answer. “Did you hear me?”
He pokes his head in the doorway, and your eyes go wide. “Huh? What?” you stammer, shaking your head to jerk yourself out of your stupor.
Eddie laughs, high and boyish. It sounds like heaven, and it pierces your heart. Six months ago, you never thought you’d hear it again. “I asked if you wanted marshmallows, weirdo.”
You nod rapidly and ramble an answer. “Oh, yeah. Sure. Thank you.”
“O-kay,” Eddie lilts, though his voice wavers with confusion. His grin widens and his eyes narrow, but he doesn’t ask why you’re acting so suddenly strange.
You wonder if he’s used to it by now. You wonder if he knows when you go quiet that you’re remembering that a part of you nearly died.
He returns to the kitchen and reaches for the upper cupboard. A sliver of his milky white tummy peeks from beneath his flannel. You can see the bites from here. They’re scarred over now, dark red and light pink and thunder-strike purple. It almost jars you how healed they look. The wounds are still fresh and weeping whenever you close your eyes.
Eddie comes in from the living room, balancing two mugs in his hands rather carefully because he’s filled them to the brim. He’s got his usual ceramic Campbell’s Tomato Soup cup in one hand and your sleeping Snoopy in the other. The innate domesticity makes your stomach whirl.
“You okay?” the boy wonders with pinched brows when he hands you your cocoa.
You nod with glittering eyes, mustering a faint smile up at him. The mug warms your chilled, trembling hands.
“Mm-hmm
Why?” you question, though you’re more than aware of why.
Eddie’s got a knack for knowing how you’re feeling before you’ve even hinted at it. You think he might’ve got mind-reading powers when you were in the Upside Down.
“I don’t know. You just looked a little
 far away, I guess.”
“Just missed you,” you confess with a bright, innocent gaze.
Eddie snorts as he rounds the couch to sit next to you. “While I was in the kitchen ten feet away?”
“Yeah. ’S way too far.”
“Well, remind me to carry you with me wherever I go, then.”
You know he’s joking, but you beam anyway. You don’t want to be anywhere that he isn’t. You don’t want him to go where you can’t follow.
Eddie takes a sip and smiles at your smiling. His grin is crooked and rosy and lined with whipped cream. He leans in to kiss you with it.
You pull back from him, just far enough to wipe the melted sugar off with the pad of your thumb. You give him a smacking peck a second later.
With a kissed grin, the boy leans back against the couch with his arm sprawled along the back of it. You curl into his side like his own personal puzzle piece, nestling your mug between your bodies with one hand and settling your free one on his stomach.
Your fingers seem to gravitate beneath his fuzzy flannel without you having to think twice about it.
Eddie doesn’t seem to mind, either. His attention is consumed by the television — a Scooby Doo re-run he’s probably seen a thousand times. His chuckle rumbles against your cheek. You laugh along with him, made content by the sound of his boyish delight.
Your fingers dance through the fuzz of his happy trail, then settle on something softer.
The marred skin of his warm tummy feels like silk. Before you realize what you’re touching, the boy beneath you jolts.
You nearly spill your cooling cocoa when you freeze alongside him. You part from Eddie with a gaping gaze, wide eyes darting over every inch of his face. You’re frightened that you’ve hurt him, but his pink grin only widens.
“Oh, shit. Are you okay?” you blurt. “I wasn’t— I wasn’t thinking. I didn’t hurt you, did I?”
Eddie turns to you, then. His features are blurry with sleep, and they twist with confusion at your misplaced concern.
“No,” he answers with the shake of his head. The softened ends of his chocolate curls brush your cheek. A laugh sputters from his mouth. “It just tickled, babe. It’s fine.”
You let out a breath you didn’t know you were holding. It wavers on the way out, but you manage a trembling smile anyway. “Oh. Okay,” you hum, breathless.
“Yeah. ’S okay,” Eddie murmurs softly back, wrapping his pale arm around your shoulder to pull you closer. He presses a kiss to the crown of your head and lingers there. “I’m okay,” he whispers into your hair.

part 1, part 2
Year: 1478
“Fill me up, Margot!” The bearded man slammed his jug on the counter.
With a gentleness in her voice and a calm smile, she filled his jug. “Sure thing.”
The bar was rather lively on a night like this, which gave Margot a little anxiety, being that she was a bit introverted and shy.
But she needed this job, she needed the money.
“Blood rained from the sky and the Devil warned us!” A man shouted drunkenly.
She often heard stories of Dracula, his son, Alucard, a sorceress and a Belmont from many locals. Dracula almost committed genocide starting right here in Wallachia, after the church murdered his beloved wife, then celebrated it.
How cruel.
Sighing deeply at the horrible thought, Margot wiped the bar table. With each movement, she couldn’t help but feel as if she was being studied.
Looking around the crowded bar, she noticed someone in a black cloak, looking in her direction.
Eyes of amber, almost golden, were locked on her.
She knew all the regulars and she’s never seen this cloaked man before.
Quickly tearing her eyes away in fear, she continued wiping tables.
“What do you think, Margot?” Robin, another barmaid asked.
Margot turned. “H-huh?”
“About what Dracula did, would you have supported him during that time?” A hand on her hip.
“I-I rather not s-say.” She stuttered, avoiding conversation.
With a smirk, Robin shouted, getting the attention of the entire bar. “Margot supports Dracula!”
Margot’s eyes almost flew out of their sockets at the sudden claim. Judgmental eyes piercing through her, waiting for an explanation.
“Th-that’s not what I said!” She’s never raised her voice this high before. Her heart raced, trying to defend herself. “I-I just think Dracula had every right to be heartbroken
from the lo-loss of his true love..who was pro-proven to be innocent of any forms of-of witchcraft..after she was executed.”
She scanned the bar, faces contorting into understanding, but she locked eyes with those golden orbs again, that she couldn’t seem to read. Nervously she continued, averting her gaze. “I think..a-anyone would do something a little..crazy for the on-ones they love, but Dracula was wrong for harming innocent people.”
The crowd cheered at her words, causing her to breathe out in relief, she hated being put on the spot like that.
Robin rolled her eyes, forcing a drink in Margot’s hands. “Cloak guy wants a drink.”
Hesitantly look in the direction, she nodded with a dry reply. “O-okay.”
Making her way to him was as nerve wracking as being right in front of him. Resting the large jug of beer on the table, with a trembling hand, Margot avoided eye contact with the stranger. “Here’s your drink, sir.”
“Thank you.” His voice was soft, smooth like a new born lamb and very curt.
With a small bow, she turned on her heel to escape the scary stranger.
“Have you ever been to Dracula’s castle?” This question was quite odd.
“N–”
“Look at me, young lady.” His voice remained soft, but his command was strong.
Lifting her head submissively, her eyes fell upon his golden ones, but most of his face was still hidden beneath the dark cloak he sported with a black mask that covered his nose to his mouth. But yet still he held a beauty. Lush lashes
and blonde like those of a gorgeous maiden.
“No sir, I-I haven’t.”
“Why not?”
Margot grew weak at all these questions. “Um..it’s just something I haven’t thought of..doing. B-besides
.Lord Alucard, Son of Dracula is the- the Guardian of the castle now, I don’t think he we-welcomes visitors.”
“Fair enough.” He kept his words short. “I like how you defend yourself and others honor, it’s..brave.”
If it weren’t for her dark complexion, he would’ve seen the warm tint of pink across her cheeks.
“Th-thank you, sir.” She quickly glanced between his eyes and the wooden bar floor.
He never once tore his eyes from Margot. Eyes studied her like a book he was interested in. “Adrian. Call me..Adrian.”
“Margot.”
“Margot. Pearl.” He muttered. “ A pearl of beauty.”
Her lips parted at his words, stunned. “I–”
Gently cutting her off. “I’m not much of a drinker, do you have..other options..?”
“Y-yes, freshly squeezed lemonade.”
“I’ll take that.”
Finally nodding, she picked up his beer and swiftly moved.
“What are you doing with that beer, Margot?” Peter, the owner of the bar asked.
“The gentleman wearing a cloak wanted a lemonade instead.” She replied in her soft voice, pouring the lemonade.
“In a cloak? I don’t see anyone.”
Turning around with the glass, her brows furrowed.
The cloaked gentleman..was gone.
