Adjective: Burnt

Noun: Desolation

Definitions for those who need/want them:

Burnt: destroyed, damaged, or injured by heat or fire; (of a part of the body) red and painful from exposure to the sun; (of a color, especially orange or red) of a darkish or dusky shade

Desolation: a state of complete emptiness or destruction; anguished misery or loneliness

#so my gf and i got a lot of food for us to cook this week and we are SUPER excited about it #ever since we both started working fulltime jobs that take a lot out of us both emotionally and physically #we havent been able to cook very often (fast food and takeaway is so much quicker and energy-saving than cooking)#which we have been missing cos we love cooking especially together #so we are looking forward to it #we will actually be cooking tonight #and we will be trying some new alcoholic beverages with dinner cos i specifically dont drink very often #so thatll be fun too #anyway this prompt is obviously attached to the magnus archives cos this is doubling down on the desolation #and it feels very 'scorched earth' to me #so i might use that idea a bit too in whatever i write #the magnus archives #tma #the desolation #the desolation tma #thanks for reading #writing #writer #creative writing #writing prompt #writeblr #trying to be a writeblr at least
