Episode CEO stands for Cutting Everyone Off: Noctis Lucis Calum, sole heir to a huge multi million dollar media empire that is currently at risk of a hostile takeover with lawsuits up the wazoo… Our valiant only son is cut off and tasked to prove his mettle… starting with his little technology pipe dream: ARMIGER. (Current description being... a very powerful multipurpose app driven by smoke and mirrors and flying by the seat of one’s pants.) In denial of his family’s dire situation and dwindling coffers, dear Noctis seeks “inspiration” by “investing” in technology i.e. every single console and game and… a boat... a really really nice boat… (you can write it off as entertainment costs right? Right?)  Lucky for him, friendship is magic, but there ain’t no “Up, Up, Down, Down, Left, Right, Left, Right, B, A, Start” to this.
