sometimes I find myself feeling really baffled by hardcore kpop/mcyt stans, wondering how people can get THAT obsessed with a bunch of random dudes they’ve never met to the point where they basically turn it into a personality trait, drop absurd amounts of money on merch and show tickets, and make sure anyone in their proximity won’t be able to go ten minutes without seeing/hearing something about them. wondering what it must be like being in proximity to such a dedicated, ride-or-die fanbase all the time.

then I remember I live right in the middle of packer fan territory and i’m like “…oh”

#saw the new dankpods video and like. yeah it really is just Like That here #some packer fans are WILD like im not even kidding. they literally have a whole ass diss track for the chicago bears #people who live near the stadium will literally rent their own front yards out to people as overflow parking when the lot gets too full #everyone across the street has like. packer murals on their fences & viewing decks built onto their roofs & shit #and don’t even get me started on all the bonkers-ass ‘‘cheesehead’’ merch you’ll find Literally Everywhere in northeast wisconsin #we have a couple pieces at home & i’m partially convinced it just fucking SPAWNED here bc I don’t remember anyone buying it #ace screams into the void
