                 ❝       honestly  ,      i’m   not   bothered .      ‘course  ,       technically  ,     i’d’ve   preferred   it   if   i   was   on   the   resolute   and   not   here .      they’ve   got   the   resources  ,      the   plans  ,      spare   beds .      ❞      but   they   were   also   the   people   who   wouldn’t   give   him   the   time   of   day   unless   he    was   using   it   to   patch   up   some   dent   in   the   hull   somewhere .       𝐓𝐇𝐀𝐓   𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐍'𝐓   𝐀   𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐓   𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄  ,     𝐄𝐈𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑 .      ❝     guess   it   could   be   worse .      at   least   that   dhar   guy   isn’t   here .      ❞

Judy smiled softly letting out a chucking. “I suppose you’re right about that. Did you hear Penny kissed his son?” She smirked raising a brow.                “Honestly glad to see she’s still getting to experience those feeling even thought being lost in space is not idea.” She replied.                        Really his reply was pretty much what she expected.                                            She was no good at this.  “Sorry, I’m not the best at asking the heard hitting questions...” She added. “Should we make a T R U C E  to ask anything- with out judgement or any information that doesn’t leave this room..”                                            This will also a given considering the point of the game was to ask the big questions to get the other to drink. Because really-                                             they weren’t doing to much  D R I N K I N G          “On that note- I’m going to go with a T R U T H .”

           the   chortle   that   escapes   him   is   unrestrained  ,    as   he   watches   her   dig   into   the   food   like   some   kind   of   animal .      it   wasn’t   the   hardest   dare   he   could’ve   come   up   with  ,      `&   it   was   HARDLY   the   most   embarrassing   thing   he   had   on   his   mind .       𝐁𝐔𝐓   𝐀𝐓   𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐒𝐓   𝐈𝐓   𝐒𝐄𝐓   𝐀   𝐓𝐎𝐍𝐄   𝐅𝐎𝐑   𝐓𝐇𝐄   𝐍𝐈𝐆𝐇𝐓 .      he   makes   a   small   gesture   to   her   cheek   after   she’s   already   wiped   off   the   crumbs  ;         ❝       you    missed   a   spot .     ❞ 

           he   raises   a   brow   then  ,      in   response   to   the   inquiry   and   lets   yet   another   quiet   hum   of   thought   escape   him .      like   he’s   actually   bothering   to   think   about   it .        ❝       well  ,       since   you   dived   straight   in   on   a   dare  ,      i   guess   i’ll   have   to   change   things   up   and   go   for   truth .     ❞ 

"Truth huh?" Just started.             Judy honestly could think of many things to ask Don. There was a lot of questions she had, about who he was and his life before this trip.                                   Though, as much as this was truth or dare and the stakes are suppose to be high she wanted to leave some what of a respect of privacy. She was never good at the genuine mood of these games not wanting anyone to feel obligated to spill there guts.                 “Okay, I know that you didn’t want to get go up in space with my dad- risking you L I F E and all, thank you again by the way,                      B U T - what is your honest opinion about being lost in space with us and not on the resolute?”                          Judy asked curiously. She also wondered what made him agree so easily to risk his life for them, did he blame her for begging? did he blame himself?

        he   can’t   help   the   way   his   smile   grows  ,      playful   and   dancing   across   his   expression .      truth   or   dare   was   a   classic  ,      `&   if   she   was   brave   enough   to   dive   headlong   into   the   deep - end   he   was   hardly   going   to   tell   her   to   stop .      a   small   hum   of   thought   escapes   him  ,     a   finger   moves   to   brush   against   stubble   as   his   eyes   track   the   room   for   inspiration .        ❝       a   dare  ,     huh     .     .     .     ?      ❞        that’s   when   he   gets   the   idea   ——–   a   childish   idea   ———-    and   moves   to   the   kitchen .

          after   a   second   he’s   emptied   a   dried   food   pack   into   a   small   bowl   and   placed   it   on   the   table    before   her .        ❝       i   dare   you   to   eat   that   without   using   anything   except   your   mouth .     ❞ 

Judy gave the most D I S G U S T I N G look. She will never get used to space food but especially uncooked dry space food. “You’re kidding me?” She looked to Don.                Judy knew she couldn’t back down on that, starting the night off strong she needed to commit.                          Judy took in a deep breath…                                    setting her drink down on the table and leaning down in preparation to eat. “You really are cruel D O N  W E S T.” She looked up to him before closing her eyes and diving her face into the bowl eating ‘nearly’ all of it.            Every bite was W O R S E…                         it was oddly flavourful by has the texture of styrofoam and cardboard. “Okay! I’m done!”       She said raising her hands in surrender as remains of the dried food were still on her face. “That was so gross…” She replied whipping her lips and taking a light sip of her drink to get rid of the dry food taste.                           “Okay- Truth or Dare.”

        amusement   twitches   at   the   corners   of   his   lips   as   he   watched   her   test   the   flavour .      somehow  ,     he   wasn’t   surprised   by   her  resilience   to   it .     any   first   time   drinker   would’ve   found   a   good   scotch   a   little   bit   too   smooth   for   easy   consumption .     𝐂𝐋𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐋𝐘   𝐈𝐓   𝐖𝐀𝐒𝐍'𝐓   𝐇𝐄𝐑   𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓   𝐓𝐈𝐌𝐄 .       he   avoids   mentioning   it   nonetheless  ,     and   reaches   back   for   the   bottle   to   top   up   the   glasses .     he’s   sure   it’d   be   empty   by   the   end   of   the   night  ,     despite   the   time   it   took   to   drink   through   a   $55   bottle   of   whisky .

                   ❝     well  ,      there   is   that .      but   if   that   doesn’t   sound   too   interesting  ,       𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐄'𝐒   𝐏𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐓𝐘   𝐎𝐅   𝐃𝐑𝐈𝐍𝐊𝐈𝐍𝐆   𝐆𝐀𝐌𝐄𝐒 .     most   of   them   are   for   groups   of   people  ,     but   if   you   can   think   of   anything   that   involves   being   drunk   out   of   our   minds   as    a   reward   or   a   punishment   ———————        go   right   ahead .      ❞

“Uhm... Well I be honest I don’t know many drinking games.” She admitted taking a softer sip of the liquor.                                    “What about a good old T R U T H or D A R E?” She asked.         “If you don’t want to answer the question or do the dare you drink and if the you do answer the question or do the dare the other has to drink.” She questions. “That way the stakes will be H I G H E R.” She suggestions.           She was curious how this would turn out.                                  And curious what sort of truths may come out.  “I’ll go first... and I’m going to start it the evening off strong... Dare.” She requested having a smirk curl across her lips.

She tried her best to hide the burning pain and felt like she succeeded.         It wasn’t actually that terrible...                                  Judy hid a smile.      She appreciated Dons company. There was darkness inside her she didn’t quite understand at times, she was very successful at holding pointless feeling in. It make relationships and situation a lot easy- it wasn’t a priority.                                                                            and whether it was a good thing or not-                           Judy felt like Don understood to an extent... there was a lot she didn't know about him, that they don’t know about each other... she was curious about who he R E A L L Y was          “So... what happens now?... we just keep drinking until we get tired..?”
