Rick Riordan didn't need to go so hard with the Big Three kids lmao.
Percy? He's the son of Poseidon. He fought the war god and won when he was twelve. He was one of the protagonists of two Great Prophecies. Was named praetor in like a week. He's a skater. He likes Led Zeppelin. He can talk to horses. He confuses everyone by eating blue food. Certified simp.
Nico di Angelo? He's Italian. He's a son of Hades. He was born in like the 1920's or 30's but didn't age for decades. He's like emo. He's a huge nerd. He's even gay.
Or Thalia? She is the daughter of Zeus. She has electric blue eyes and always uses eyeliner. She's goth and punk. She only listens to rock. She's an immortal huntress. Her mom was an actress. She can probably fly but she's scared of heights. Also she was a tree for like six years?
Or Hazel? She's the daughter of Pluto. She was born in New Orleans in the 1920's. She canonically got her mouth washed with soap by nuns for swearing. She died to stop Gaia and came back over seventy years later. She stabbed a giant in the ass. She is a horse girl.
And Jason was like. Raised by wolves and then was accepted into the legion as a 3yo which like. Huh.
Anyway characters of all time.

🚨 Everything we know about Wednesday season 2 (possible spoilers and trigger warnings for violence — don't read this if you don't wanna know anything about season 2. Also, remember that none of this is confirmed yet, everything is from a leaker supposedly working on the set)
1- Xavier left school so his character is completely forgotten
2- Enid is craving affection and attention a lot
3- Enid's scars healed (I'm so sad about that... bye bye our hopes of Wednesday comforting her about it)
4- Enid's hair is a bit shorter, closer to Emma's real haircut. It's still blond. They also talked about giving her a black streak, but they didn't do it. They will possibly add it next season
5- Ajax broke up with Enid because she kept missing their dates and wasn't really involved in their relationship
6- Ajax disappears through the season but is found at the end
7- Enid has a new boyfriend, Maxim (played by Owen Painter)
8- Maxim is predicted to be loved by the fans
9- Maxim is abusive towards Enid (he grabs her a lot and leaves bruises)
10- Wednesday hates Maxim from the start
11- Wednesday is really protective of Enid during this season
12- Enid breaks up with Maxim in episode 4 (I suppose, as it says mid-season) and it doesn't go well (he's really mad and they almost physically fight. Enid uses her claws)
13- After the break up, Maxim becomes very obsessive
14- Wednesday initiates a hug after Enid comes back to the dorm after the break up
15- Enid and Wednesday will investigate together in every episodes except the first one
16- Maxim takes over the Nightshades and kick Bianca out. His father is said to have old views (I guess similar to Crackstone)
17- Bianca will have a lot of scenes. So does Thing
18- Tyler is back and will work with Wednesday. He's not the villain of this season
19- Tyler has a lot of scenes with Bianca's mom
20- Wednesday, Enid, Morticia, Maxim and Barry (Maxim's father and Nevermore's new principal) have the most screentime
21- Enid meets the Addams and Morticia thinks her relationship with Wednesday is stupendous
22- Enid's relationship with her mom changes a lot (good or bad, we don't know)
23- There will be a camping episode taking place at Camp Jericho, where Enid and Wednesday will share a tent
24- There will be a musical number
25- Christopher Lloyd (original movie Uncle Fester) will come back as, apparently, a music teacher
26- Enid will have a major fight against around 5 creatures
27- One of Enid's fight is to protect Wednesday (who is immobilised during the scene)
28- Wenclair share another hug at the end of the season
29- Enid and Wednesday are very close friends at the end of the season. Wenclair is not comfirmed yet for season 3 but they said it's still possible
30- Jenna is producer this season, so everything that happens between Wednesday and Enid has gone through her. She and Emma are most likely the ones to decide if Wenclair will happen or no. Considering they both said in an interview that they would be good together, that the whole cast ships them and that so much fans does too, we are on the right track!
All of this is not officially confirmed. A leaker working on the set posted all this on Reddit in June (from what I understood). Recently, bts pics of Camp Jericho has been shared, confirming what the leaker said about it. So all of this is most likely true, but again, nothing comfirmed.
I really hope it is true, because holy shit, the plot is INSANE. I literally told my best friend I needed a camping scene in season 2 and more drama... well, there we are 🤌🏻 All this informations I have shared are from the leaker (the post has been deleted on Reddit but you can find some screenshots on @zstronz78's Twitter account)
What are you theories and thoughts about it?

PJO Show Ares X Child!Reader (no gender specified)
Word count: 6168 (I realized a bit late that majority is me setting up the scene. If you just wanna see their talk, read after the “~~”)
Summary: You haven’t seen your father since the last time you talked, but of course with your luck he finds you again and you’re forced to make a big decision.
Warnings: Reader is going through it, poor attempt at a fight scene, the lore and timeline is probably fucked up but ignore that, OOC Ares probably and as of typing I’m realizing MAJOR SPOILER FOR THE TITANS CURSE. To avoid this, scroll until you see “I don’t have any friends that come over” or “~” if you wanna be extra careful.
Tumblr media
You’d love to say that not seeing your father after your last talk was some sort of surprise, but it wasn’t. Thankfully (is that selfish to think?) none of the demigods had a real good relationship with their parent. Well, Percy seemed to have a solid relationship with Posideon, but it’s not like he saw him everyday. And as selfish and heartless as it sounded, that offered you a bit of relief and comfort. It’s not like your father was sensitive and loving to you and you screwed it up. Everything was pretty much back to normal.
It was a pretty somber day at camp. Percy, Grover and Thalia had managed to save Annabeth and Artemis, but it didn’t come without casualties. You weren’t necessarily friends with Bianca or Zoë but you still grieved over them. The hardest part though, was watching how sad your friends had gotten, especially Percy. You knew what Percy was like. Percy was extremely loyal but that loyalty led to carrying a lot more weight on his shoulders than what was necessary. If your suspicions were right (and you knew they were), he’d blame himself for Bianca’s death. That made zero sense to you. He told you exactly how she died and to you, it seemed like Bianca made a choice. Percy couldn’t have done anything to stop it. He didn’t see it that way and you weren’t sure why you insisted on telling him over and over again and trying to cheer him up.
“Nico?” Percy raised to his feet when he saw you approaching. You shook your head,
“No sign of him. He’s been missing for a week now Percy. If we were gonna find him, we would’ve found him by now”. Percy looked defeated. You were sure he knew the chances of finding him were slim to none, but you kept combing areas of the woods for him to keep him somewhat at peace. If he thought there was a chance, he wouldn’t be as depressed hopefully.
 “I’m gonna say it again-“
 “Don’t”
“Well what should I say to calm you down?”
Percy thought for a moment but just shrugged and started heading inside his cabin and you followed. Percy collapsed on his own bed and you took it upon yourself to sit on the bed next to his. You didn’t know if it was because you held resentment towards your father, or if you actually liked Cabin 3 but you really wished this was your cabin instead. “Must be nice having a cabin all to yourself. No obnoxious cabin mates, no extra noise, nobody leaving their shit on the floor”.
“I guess” was all he said back to you and you sighed. You didn’t wanna keep repeating yourself but you genuinely didn’t know what to say but not saying anything made you feel like an asshole that was ignoring the situation.
So you tried to change the subject.
“Is it like this at home too? Just you and your mom? No friends over?”.
“I don't have any friends that can come over”
 “None at school?”
 “None”.
That made you frown. You were older than Percy by a few years, so you had time to adjust to how lonely life could be as a half-blood and by now, you didn't return “home” either. Camp was your home now year round. You understood why Percy kept going home though. You heard about his mom and she seemed like a nice woman. You were grateful he at least had that.
But instead of saying something sweet and nice and voicing your thoughts, you made a joke instead. “That's why your little ass keeps getting into trouble. You have no one out there watching out for you”
“My mom watches out for me plenty”
“But she's not keeping schools from being blown up now is she?”. Percy rolled his eyes, but he didn't look as sad as before so you took this as a sign to keep talking “if I was watching you, you'd be alright. At least you'd have help”
“You're tryna live with me now?”
“Sure”, you said with a shrug. “A cool mom, random blue food, stopping you from exposing yourself - it all sounds grand”. You both laughed at your joke because that's what it was. A joke.
At least… it was at first.
Either Percy didn't know what a joke was, or he was pretty fond of having a big sibling when he was home because the next day he told you he sent an Iris message to his mom and she was fine with getting an air mattress for you. You almost told Percy that it was just a joke, but then you thought about how lonely he must be at home and how annoying it can be only having his mom to talk to about this demigod stuff. Plus, it hopefully wouldn't hurt to get a break from camp.
You didn't know why you decided to pray and tell Poseidon about this, but you did. The sun had set and you slipped out of your cabin and snuck into the woods. You made a mini fire and threw two candy bars the Stoll brothers managed to sneak in, which was a real shitty offering but it was all you had. You couldn't do it during the feast. You had too much to say and someone would hear.
“Terrible offering, I know. I hope you're listening anyway” you started. “I'm gonna be following Percy around when he goes home and I'm gonna try and keep him and Sally somewhat safe. I don't know how safe Percy can really be but I'll try anyway. I hope that's not a problem. I'm not tryna step on your toes or anything”.
In all honesty praying and giving offerings felt strange. You were supposed to pray to Ares everyday and give him an offering, but you stopped doing that after your last talk. The first time you threw food in a fire and didn't say his name, you thought you'd combust as a punishment. You didn't though, so you kept doing it. Occasionally you'd give offerings to other gods but it was mainly Athena. Partially because she was like Ares but not really and partially because you hoped it would upset Ares. Was it childish? Yes. But compared to someone as old as Ares, you were a child.
“That's all I really have to say. If you don't want me to go you can drown me in my sleep or maybe send a letter. Whatever works for you”. You looked around, expecting for some paper saying “absolutely not” to land somewhere around you but nothing happened, so you put out the fire and snuck back into your cabin.
~
You don't think you have a huge ego, but you definitely felt you deserved a pat on the back for how good your work was.
You were able to convince your own lousy family to hand over any legal documents to Sally and thankfully Percy's middle school had a highschool right next to it. Although the demigods weren't supposed to use phones, a minor text here and there saying “hey, I think there's monsters here” didn't hurt anyone. There were plenty of times you had to sneak out of your school and into his, and if you weren't so busy fighting for your life, you'd audition to be in some spy or assassin movie.
Thankfully though, you weren't always busy helping Percy. You figured you might as well help Sally out so you got a job at a nearby bookstore inside of a mall and honestly? You'd prefer fighting monsters over dealing with bratty customers. Seriously though, how can you be a bitch at a bookstore?
“I've already told you ma'am” you said in a monotone voice, “we can't give you a refund if you do not have a receipt”.
The black hair woman scoffed and looked at you as if you caused the problem she was having. “A receipt? Do I seem like the type of woman who keeps a receipt?! When I bought Twilight, I expected better and I hate it and now I want a refund and as the customer, I am always right!”.
The entire conversation made you wanna explode in front of her and change the trajectory of her life, but unfortunately it didn't happen. What was with mortals and not understanding basic store rules?
“I would love it if you were right but you're not. No receipt. No refund”. She scoffed again and you wanted to grab her by the throat and stop the noise from ever leaving her mouth again.
“Well what do you expect me to do?!”
“Pick up a different book then get out maybe?”.
You couldn't put a finger on the noise that came out of her next. It was some deep throaty sound with a mix of anger and disgust. “Do you know who I am? I'm Holly Holiday-” you accidentally cracked a smile at her stupid name and that just fueled her rage. She pointed a finger at your name tag and said your name, followed by “you are so done for! I'll have you eaten alive for this!”.
She turned on her heels and left in a huff. Fucking finally.
You looked over at your coworker Harper and pretended your fingers were a gun and shot yourself, getting a laugh out of her. Harper and her twin Hazel shared a few classes with you and by some coincidence they also worked in the mall. Harper was with you while Hazel worked at the costume store downstairs. You couldn't tell them apart and you weren't sure if you'd ever pass the “we talk sometimes” stage but it didn't matter right now.
“I know it's closing time but are you ok if I take a bathroom break really quick? I can help out when I get back”
She waved dismissively, “take your time man. Hazel'll be coming up here too”. You nodded with a small thank you and stepped into the mostly vacant mall. The mall was usually lively but with it being so late at night, the only people around were other people like that annoying customer and workers who had the misfortune of still working this late.
It was eerily quiet. Sure, you thought you were used to how silent it was at this time of night, but you still got the creeps and did not take your time alone in the bathroom.
Maybe you should have though, because once you left the bathroom that same annoying lady was waiting outside, which she definitely should not have been doing.
“I told you I did not like that book”.
Seriously? She was still complaining? She was still here after the store had pretty much closed?
You said something that would've gotten you fired if your boss was around, “yeah? Tough shit lady. No receipt, no refund, it's as simple as that. Don't buy books you haven't read. Now get out the mall and go take care of your kids”.
She snarled. A genuine snarl that made you start to sneakily slip off the bracelet you were wearing. You didn't know if gods could give other kids gifts, and either it had been allowed this whole time or Poseidon didn't care since shortly after your “chat” after hours you received a dagger that could transform into a bracelet. You thought maybe Ares had sent it, but his gifts didn't smell of the ocean and a fresh breeze.
Regardless of who gave it to you, that snarl didn't sound good.
“I don't think you're very good at your job”
“I guess I'm not. Now do us both a favor and just leave”.
She didn't leave. Instead she smirked and that was all the confirmation you needed to know something was wrong. The bracelet slipped off your wrist and while the monster was transforming, you gripped your weapon and brought it up through the bottom of her mouth. You pulled it out, but not through the entry wound. You pulled it towards you, letting it split her face in half.
Just in case, you stabbed her in the heart, twisted the knife then pulled it out of her through the side of her chest. You didn’t have to wait for her to crumble. It was game over. A surprisingly easy win.
You grabbed some nearby napkins so you could wipe your dagger clean then returned it back to your wrist.
“What happened?” Harper asked once you stepped back inside, which was really odd for multiple reasons.
Firstly, you looked like you usually did. Nothing about you was particularly out of place. At least you didn't think so.
Secondly, she didn't sound curious. She didn't sound concerned. She sounded frustrated, like you did something wrong.
“Nothing” you lied. “It's nothing. Let's just clean up, yeah?”.
“I'm sure it's not nothing Child of Ares”.
Your brows knitted together and you hoped you just heard wrong. You turned to look at Harper and that's when it started to click.
 Harper. Hazel. Holly.
 Harpies.
They were too lazy to pick a different initial for the first name and you fell for it like an idiot. Plus the “I’ll have you eaten alive” comment. But in all fairness, who actually takes those comments seriously? If you took every threatening comment seriously, you'd be sent to an asylum.
Harper's short red hair looked like flames now. Her green eyes looked hungry for your flesh and her sharp teeth glistened in the light as feathers grew from her arms. Realistically, you should've been scared. There were two alive harpies in the building, but something about a monster with a gray shirt with mini white books decorated on it really made you wanna laugh. She must've sensed this since she sneered,
 “You think I'm funny?”
“Do you want an honest answer?”
“You won't think I'm so funny soon you spoiled demigod!”. You wanted to make a joke about how calling children with severe abandonment issues “spoiled” was silly, but you decided this wasn't the time. Instead you took the bracelet off.
Harper laughed in your face. “You think that will stop me?”
“Handled your friend pretty well. How about you stop trash talking and come over here so we can see if you're any different”. You don't know which comment got her so angry but she leapt at you.
You sidestepped her and planned on delivering a quick stab to the neck, but she must've seen it coming. She grabbed something and quickly turned to bat you in the face with it, making you stumble back. It took you a quick second to realize she hit you with a book. A Goosebumps book no less.
“You are incredibly childish” you mumbled and you wished you could laugh it off. Maybe you were childish too because you picked up the book and launched it at her face, feeling a tad bit disappointed when she dodged it.
You swung at her but she caught your wrist and squeezed hard enough to make you drop your dagger. You were quick on your feet though and you brought your available elbow down on her inner elbow (you were sure it had a scientific name but honestly who cares?). You heard a crunch and Harper screeched. Her grip loosened enough for you to snatch away while kicking her, her flying and hitting the railing.
You grabbed the dagger and threw it. You meant for it to hit somewhere fatal but she moved and instead it hit her directly in the eye, which made her screech even louder.
You snatched your necklace off and the object quickly took the shape of a double sided sword. It was a gift from your father and although he was probably pissed at you, you figured he probably wasn't watching and wouldn't care.
You charged at her and swung the sword. Although she was screaming in pain and was no doubt in agony, she slid under the blade. As she turned to face you, her hands moved and a sharp gust of wind knocked you off the third floor.
To make matters worse, Hazel decided to make an appearance. She was right below you, cackling, arms outstretched and you knew if you landed in those arms she'd devour you.
You did the only thing you could think of with such short timing. You angled the sword vertically and aimed directly for her mouth. She seemed to understand but it was too late. You came crashing down, your sword along with you and it slid directly in her mouth and down her throat. Because of the sword having a solid middle so you could hold onto something, it didn't go all the way through and you stumbled a bit, but you were better off than her. She stopped all movement and to make sure the job was done, you ripped the sword through her, cutting her in half.
“MY SISTER!”,  Harper screeched and you looked up at her with your messy sword in hand.
“You want more from the Child of Ares?!” You claimed you hated trash talk and you especially hated being called his child but the adrenaline was really getting to you. “I have plenty to give!”.
She flew up higher and started to come down fast towards you. You readied your sword, prepared to end this but suddenly she stopped and started trembling.
 “L-L-Lord Ares. I-”
Before you could ask any questions and she could finish her sentence, you were being launched into the air. The scream you let out was embarrassing but it didn't matter in the end. You both collided and hit the wall and instead of being knocked out or injured like you thought you'd be, you were completely fine. Your sword went straight through her chest and pinned her to the wall behind her and you were hanging above the ground, grasping onto the hilt of your sword and hoping your hands wouldn’t start sweating.
 “L-L-Lord Ares. I-”
No. No way. It couldn’t be. But who else could’ve launched you in the air like that?
You looked down and there he was. You don’t know why, but you expected him to look somewhat different. Maybe a new haircut or a new jacket. Maybe he’d try contacts, but no. He looked exactly the same. You didn’t know if you were comforted or unnerved by it.
You wished you had something cool to say but all you said was “what are you doing here?”.
“Saving your life”. Yeah right. You had everything 100% under control. He chuckled and you started to wonder if he could read your mind. When you screamed internally though, he didn’t flinch so that theory went out the window. Maybe you looked annoyed and didn’t know it.
“Are you gonna catch me?” You asked.
 “What for?”
“Because you threw me all the way to the fifth floor and it’d be nice not to break something”
“You need me to warm up milk up for you too?”.
Fuck it. You’d risk the broken leg.
You tightened your hands around the hilt and planted your feet on the wall then pushed off with all your might. Fortunately, you got the sword out the wall. Unfortunately, you were now falling from five floors up.
You braced for impact, but instead of falling and hitting the floor, you fell into someone’s arms. You looked up, thinking that maybe someone was with your father that you didn’t see before, but no. It was him. He caught you. Something you weren’t expecting but you weren’t against.
You mumbled a thanks and stood on your feet. The year was 2006 when you last talked. It was early in 2008 and while that wasn’t that big of a gap, the talk you had last time made things more awkward.
“I thought you’re not allowed to interfere”
He raised a brow at you as if saying “you care about rules now when you’ve been breaking them?”. Were you breaking them though? Sure you were encouraged to give offerings to your parent but you hadn’t been punished… yet. If it was so bad you wouldn’t be walking right now. And you doubted he paid enough attention to notice. He was probably relieved to have one less kid bothering him.
 Gods, you were a downer.
“Are you gonna tell on me?” He asked.
 “If you hadn’t caught me”
 “And now?”
“My lips are sealed”. You didn’t see his expression. You were too busy looking down at your shoes. A habit you hated you developed. It made you feel small. But you guessed demigods were supposed to be small in comparison to their parent. That’s why you showed them respect but they hardly returned the favor.
A moment of silence passed before he spoke up again.
 “You have money on you?”.
Was he gonna rob you now? “Uh, yeah”.
“You’re paying for dinner. Let’s go”
He started walking away before you could even respond, and like a reflex you grabbed his arm to slow him down. “I can’t”.
“Can’t?” He said so calmly it kinda scared you.
“Yeah. I can’t. My uh…” you decided not to tell him the entire truth about staying with Percy and Sally. “My ride… mom. She’s coming to get me. You don’t want mom knowing you’re in town, right?”.
He looked you up and down and you tried your best to not seem nervous. You weren’t sure he believed you but he let it go for the night.
You wished it stayed that way. That he’d just go back wherever he came from but instead he told you the name of a diner nearby and said to be there by noon tomorrow and that you were paying.
“Great. Thanks dad” you thought. “I always love our talks”.
~~
The good thing about his random plan to go to a diner at noon was that you were allowed to clean yourself and sleep beforehand. The bad thing was that now you were sitting across from him and it was incredibly awkward.
Ares kept laughing at his phone and you debated on asking him what was so funny but he said “started a Twitter war about vaccination. It’s getting good”. You screamed in your head again, but once again he didn’t flinch. Maybe he just had a good poker face.
“I’m happy for you?”. He glanced up at you and instead of going back to his phone, he set it face down on the table. You didn’t know if he seemed to glow because of the little war he started, or if a source of light was hitting him nicely. Maybe it was a god thing.
“You’re probably wondering why I’ve called you here”
Was this an HR meeting? “I’m wondering why I’m paying”
 “Ask me”
“You know I wanna know though so why am I asking?”
He didn’t respond. He just looked at you and you could hear his foot tapping on the floor.
You rubbed your brow, already feeling a migraine coming on. You took a deep breath and let out a sarcastic response (which was not a good idea but your mouth worked faster than your brain).
“Ares, the amazing God of War. The Protector of Mistreated Women. Wearer of biker jackets. I come before you as your humble child, begging thee to tell me what required my summons and why you were at the mall last night. Please please please tell me. I’ll fall over and die if you don’t”.
Sarcastic or not, he accepted it. He motioned towards the platter of burgers and fries, “this is your thank you. This is your offering to me since you haven’t been doing that”.
Well fuck. You didn’t think he’d notice.
You leaned back in your seat and your fingers strummed against your knees and you had to remind yourself that running out probably wouldn’t end well.
 “You noticed?”
“I did” he said simply. It reminded you of how emotionless he was the last time you talked. It reminded you of how frustrated you were that he talked as if nothing was wrong and as if your pain didn’t affect him.
“You demigods think you’re so smart. You have these big egos and think you’re ahead of us. You gave your offerings to Athena and Poseidon of all people ” he spat their names like it left a bitter taste in his mouth to mention them.
“And then you stay with that fish boy and his mom. Yeah. I saw that too. And I save your life and you don’t seem the least bit grateful”.
 Grateful.
Something about that word you hated.
Grateful? What was there to be grateful for? “Yeah dad, I’m super grateful my life consists of monsters trying to eat me and a dad I only see once in a blue moon. Totally grateful”.
 “We can’t interfere”
 “Didn’t stop you last night”
He tsked, “I don’t get you. You complain about my absence then you complain when I’m here when I could be doing anything else!”. His voice rose but the people in the diner were either used to this or didn’t care enough to say anything.
The nervousness and the fear rolled off you the more he spoke. Gratefulness? Doing anything else? You weren’t stopping him.
“Then go do those things. I’m not holding your hand and making you stay”. Your brain told you to shut up and apologize, but your mouth wasn’t having it. “And this isn’t about us and you know it. This is about you. This is about your ego being hurt. You don’t care about my safety. You didn’t go to the mall to protect me. You just love a fight and you were probably disappointed you couldn’t do more”
“That’s what you think?” His eyes burned with something you couldn’t quite place. Anger obviously, but it seemed like something else was there. Or maybe there was literal fire in his eyes. Either way, it was clear he was upset and if you didn’t shut up soon, he’d probably turn you into a random animal.
 But who didn’t love animals?
“That’s what I know. And I didn’t need your help. I was just fine. The only thing you would’ve missed if I somehow died was your little offerings. I don’t matter to you. Just admit it so we can move on”. Ares opened his mouth to say something, but you spoke again “and for your information Percy and Sally are very nice people. They feel more like family than you do”.
That shut up whatever he planned on saying. The last time you two talked you swore you saw an emotion cross his face. This time you were definitely sure you saw something cross his face before it went back to its default expression.
 Was that regret?
No. That was stupid and you’ve had plenty of stupid thoughts.
It went silent. Weirdly, eerily silent.
The diner wasn’t silent obviously but you two were.
You both were just staring at each other like statues. You wished you could read his mind. You hoped you would see thoughts of regret and sorrow and maybe hopefulness about your relationship going forward. You wished he had the same thoughts you had. Another stupid thought. Being hopeful didn’t work with him.
For whatever reason, your mind wandered off to the late night talks you’d have with Sally and for whatever other reason, you started to speak.
“Have you heard the song American Pie? Yes, it’s somewhat important to what I have to say. Yes or no only please”
He looked bored and unamused but he answered anyway. “I don’t know. Maybe? Who cares?”.
“There’s a line in the song that says this’ll be the day that I die. And for whatever reason it made me think about what I’d do if I were dying. If I woke up one day and I knew I was gonna die that day, what would I do? You wanna know what I realized?”
He raised his brows for a second and leaned back in his chair. There was a possibility he was still bored but he seemed somewhat interested. “Shoot”.
You smiled bitterly. Here he was so calm and fine and here you were, speaking slow and hoping your voice didn’t waver or crack. “I realized-” you failed. Your voice wobbled a bit and you cleared your throat a little too loud. “I realized I’d spend every second trying to make you love me”.
You didn’t bother trying to read any expression he had next. You knew you’d always get it wrong and you’d imagine what you wanted to see. “And I uh… I don’t wanna be that way anymore”. You blinked rapidly, trying to prevent any tears from falling out. You didn’t have the rain to cover your face and blend in like you did last time. “And selfishly I hope that scares you”.
 “Gods don’t feel fear”
“Well whatever you wanna call it I hope you feel it. I hope -and I’m gonna keep calling it fear- I hope you feel afraid for what that means for us”
“Allow me to humor you for a bit” you felt as though the comment was supposed to be sarcastic but it didn’t sound sarcastic or aggressive. It was weirdly soft. “Why would you not wanting to spend your last day with me scare me?”
“Because that means I won’t admire you anymore” you answered. “You don’t get it. You don’t get how much you mean to me. You don’t get how much I used to idolize you. Before I was claimed, I was already intrigued by you. Once I was claimed I read every single story that had to do with you. I was honored to be your child and tried to show you how honored I was everyday. I didn’t do all this for me. The training, bettering my Greek, learning everything I could about mythology. I didn’t do that for me. I did that so I would never shame your name and make you look like you raised incompetent idiots. The way I would defend your name and what you represent, you’d think I was being paid”
“Me not admiring you anymore means I won’t care about defending you. It means I won’t care anymore about our family relationship. And I hope the idea of me calling you Ares instead of dad terrifies you. That emptiness or indifference I’ll feel when I hear your name… I know it hasn’t happened yet but thinking about it terrifies me too. Maybe I’m just selfish and don’t wanna be alone”. You used your sleeve to wipe at your wet face, a mix of embarrassment and relief for finally getting this out of you. “I could be right. I doubt it. I’m probably just making all that up but either way I need you to stop doing this. Seeing you at all, it gives me hope. I don’t want an enemy for life. I’m not Percy. But this is just gonna make this harder and if you hate me I am begging you to have mercy and leave me be. No visiting. I won’t come to see you when we do that little field trip either. I’ll stay at camp or I’ll go bother another god. Hermes is really nice. And if I break my end of the deal you can do whatever you want to me. Turn me into an ant, rearrange my fingers, throw me down a flight of stairs at full force, whatever”.
There you went again making up shit. Swearing you saw something worse than sadness on his face; grief. That was impossible. Your eyes were just playing tricks on you like they always did.
You didn’t know what you wanted him to say, but you didn’t expect “you think, but you don’t know anything”.
“Then tell me what I don’t know”. He didn’t say anything. He went silent and you were getting real tired of his silences. You sighed, “Sally’s been waiting outside so…”
“Yeah…”. He let out a breath. Annoyance. Had to be. “You want this?” He asked.
You were honest. “No” you said instantly. “No I don’t but this just seems like the best thing to do”. He didn’t argue with you.
Your hand went to reach inside your pocket for money but then he spoke again “keep it”.
 “It’s no problem-”.
 “Just keep it”.
 You nodded.
You stayed sitting down. Why was it so hard to stand? Why did your legs feel so wobbly and your throat so dry? Why did your chest feel like a huge weight was crushing it? Weren’t you supposed to feel the opposite? Free and lively? Feel like you could float?
Another stupid thing escaped your lips. “Can you do me a favor?”.
“Another one?” He asked lifelessly- no. He was not lifeless. He was happy. You were sure of it. You’d leave and he’d cheer because he wouldn’t have to deal with another kid anymore. You knew it.
“It’s not a favor if you don’t wanna see me either”. Another bit of silence but you weren’t surprised. “Can we do that thing mortals do? You know, when they hug and say they love each other before they go their own way? Or maybe just the ‘I love you’ part”. He looked at you for a bit and you were about to apologize for making it weird and leave but Ares stood up.
 You stood up.
It’s strange how something you’ve never done before can feel so right. Like it was always meant to happen or always supposed to be this way. You weren’t necessarily cold and Ares wasn’t a heater, but the second he wrapped his arms around you and you did the same for him, you felt much warmer. Not a burden type of warmth. The kind of warmth that brings you relief on a freezing cold day. That crushing feeling stayed the same though.
“I love you dad” you said and it fell out so naturally, you’d forgive anyone for thinking this was a normal occurrence. That the fight you had was just a small disagreement but otherwise you two had an amazing relationship.
You didn’t know how the words “I love you too” would sound coming out of his mouth, but it sounded better than you hoped for. It once again sounded natural and genuine even if you knew it wasn’t.
 You thought it wasn’t.
No. You knew it wasn’t. This was no time for brain tricks and delusions.
Pulling apart was probably the hardest thing you had to do and your job was keeping Percy Jackson safe. That sudden coldness fell over you again and the crushing got worse.
It didn’t get any better when you left. You didn’t have the guts to look at him one last time, afraid you’d call off your deal right then and there if you made eye contact with him.
Luckily Sally was an intelligent person. She was smart enough not to ask how it went. Even if she did, it’s not like you could answer with the huge lump in your throat.
“Do you want ice cream dear?”.
You shrugged. There was that word again. Want. You didn’t know what you wanted anymore. You thought you did but it all felt wrong. There was no weight lifted off your shoulders and you didn’t feel light on your feet. You felt cold and hollow. The weight got worse and pushed down on you with so much force, you didn’t know it was even possible.
Then your eyes landed on his bike and it all came out. Your head fell into your hands and you let out sobs that were lodged deep in your chest. Your ears were ringing and you were sure you looked and sounded like the most pathetic person alive but you couldn’t care anymore. Sally, once again being an intelligent woman, took that as a sign it was time to go and pulled off. You assumed Sally would’ve dropped Percy off after you went inside. You assumed he wouldn’t wanna wait out here for you while you talked to one of the people that hated him the most. His hand patted your shoulder, notifying you that he was in the car still. Usually you’d make a joke and tell them that you were fine, but nothing came out but borderline hysterical sobs.
You grew jealous of Percy. He didn’t see Poseidon much but at least he knew deep down that Poseidon cared for him. Sometimes you’d get that feeling but you thought it was all a delusion. Fuck. Why did you keep doing that? You knew it was all a delusion.
That choice had to be the right one. It needed to be the right one.
That didn’t stop this wave of agony from drowning you, and you’d fight a thousand harpies if it meant this feeling would go away.
Omg y’all I did it😭. I mixed two ideas someone suggested with my own ideas and here we are. I hope y’all like it even though a huge portion is me yapping but to be fair I didn’t realize until after I was done and summarizing all of that didn’t seem like it’d sound right, yk? There was definitely a way I could’ve done it but I’m stupid soooo… yeah. Anyway, OOC Ares but this is my angsty fantasy so I’m making him care about his kids. In my head the whole “I hate my own kids” is him trying to convince himself he doesn’t care for them so it’s easier to stay apart from them. Idk, maybe I’ll make a part 3 from his perspective and answer why he said he was saving their life. I make no promises tho. And I know I said it’s show Ares so skipping ahead doesn’t make sense but we know what’s gonna happen Taglist: @kyuupidwrites @chadmeeksmartinswifey @lebguardians @beansficreblogs (one asked to be tagged, one asked for more dad fics, then one commented plus reblogged and one reblogged, so although majority did not ask, imma just assume y’all would wanna see a part 2😀. We’re getting the band back together like this is Phineas and Ferb)

Chapter two
Tw: mention of killing someone, naked body (drawing by Xavier) smut, and horny Xavier
Tw: dirty talk, fingering, blind fold, overstimulation, slapping, degradation?, and mention on slut, whore, and cumdump
Pronouns are she/her
------------------------------------------------------------
It was morning time and you weren't looking forward to it. You keep on thinking about Enid said about her 'crush' on Xavier. "I don't like him....I don't like him..." Y/n kept saying in her head not knowing Wednesday was reading her mind. "Now Y/n is going to be like mother and father" Wednesday whispered to herself. They all get up and go to their classes.
It was now lunch time and Y/n, Wednesday, Enid, Ajax, and Xavier were sitting together. "So...Enid....Will you come to the ReveN with me?" Ajax asked as Enid nodded with a big smile. "Finally she was getting in my nerves about you asking her to the dance" Y/n said as Wednesday nodded in agreement. Xavier was too busy looking at Y/n wondering what she would look like in a wedding dress instead.
"So....You and Tyler" Ajax said looking at Wednesday. "Me and Tyler what?" Wednesday asked. "You guys going to the RaveN with each other I heard" Ajax said while Enid gasp. "How did I not know about this!" Enid asked looking at Wednesday. "He asked me during one of my classes he gave me a note, I accepted and that's it" Wednesday said while Y/n gave her a look.
"Y/n did you know?" Enid asked as Y/n shook her head no. "Was you planning on telling me?" Y/n said looking at Wednesday. "I would if I wanted to buy I didn't say anything. So I wasn't planning on telling you." Wednesday said. Y/n just looked at her sister with a glare if Tyler was at the same table as Y/n she could kill him.
"I know what you're thinking Y/n don't try to kill Tyler" Wednesday said as Y/n just rolled her eyes. "Okay it's almost time to go back to our dorms" Enid said looking at the time. "I'm going back now goodbye." Y/n said as she left. "I'm going too bye guys!" Xavier said as he left. "That's suspicious..... That's weird...." Enid said.
Y/n made it to her dorm that was shared with her sister Wednesday and her 'friend' Enid. Xavier made it back to his but more horny. He made a drawing of Y/n naked body and made it come to life. He then took his c*ck out and started pumping it.
But with Y/n she was sadly talking to Enid about Ajax asking her out. "Like he asked me to the RaveN right in front of y'all! I was surprised that you and Wednesday weren't gagging about that." Enid said to you. "We didn't gag because we weren't even listening to you in the first place" Y/n said. "Oh..." Enid said looking down sad but not letting it show.
"Anyways it's now two more days before that RaveN!" Enid said excited. "Yeah it is" Y/n said rolling her eyes. "Why do you hate the RaveN so much?" Enid asked Y/n. "Because it's just a dance and everyone is so excited about it. Second why does it have to be dancing. And third I'd rather leave then dance" Y/n said as Enid just nods.
"Plus it's just some silly dance that's all" Y/n then said again. "Oh come on! Be a little happy that Xavier is taking you!" Enid said with a smile but Y/n turned at her giving her a death stare. "First I don't like happiness, second I will never be happy, and third I don't care about who is taking me because I didn't want to go" Y/n said.
"Oh come on Y/n! You like Xavier and Xavier likes you! It's not hard to notice that. Even Bianca noticed, not just her everybody notice!" Enid said spilling the tea. "Well they are all wrong Enid" Y/n said. "Oh really?" Enid asked smirking. "Yes! I don't like him!" Y/n yelled getting frustrated. "Okay, okay, calm down" Enid said as Y/n calm down.
"Can you leave me alone about Xavier Enid? Because it's getting on my nerves and you're making me wanna kill you" Y/n said giving Enid a death glare. "Oh! Sure I'll stop" Enid said nervously. As soon as Y/n was about to say something else a knock was heard. Like always Y/n go answer the door and again it Xavier.
"I need to talk to you Y/n" Xavier said as Y/n again just nodded. Xavier then took Y/n to his dorm which Ajax isn't there because Xavier asked him to stay somewhere else for the night. "What do you need?" Y/n asked Xavier as they walked in his dorm and he locked the doors and stuff. Xavier then pushes Y/n on the bed and stands over her.
"Xavier what are you doing?" Y/n asked as he blind folded her. "Something that I always wanted to do" Xavier said as he took off her night clothes. He then saw how wet her pussy was and put a finger in. "ahhh~" Y/n moaned out as Xavier smirk. "Look at you so wet my finger went in easily." Xavier said as he started thrusting his finger in Y/n pussy.
He started to go faster and faster in Y/n pussy as she felt something in her stomach. "O-oh...... I--I--can't..... I--I-- feel something" Y/n said. Xavier just smirk and went faster as Y/n head hit the pillow and cum spilled from her pussy. "It felt good...." Y/n said as Xavier stopped moving his finger after she got done cumming.
Xavier then licks his finger that had Y/n cum on his finger. "You're so wet my cock and just go straight into you with no pain" Xavier said as he slid his cock into Y/n pussy. "Ahhh~!" Y/n moan feeling Xavier cock deep inside of her. Xavier started moving fast and taking Y/n blind fold off. "Yeah you like that slut? You like it fast whore?" Xavier asked while Y/n nodded yes not able to form words.
"Awe I'm fucking you so hard you can't form words huh?" Xavier asked as he went even faster. "Y-yes...." Y/n moans out feeling a tight knot in her stomach. "Yeah have to cum....You gotta cum huh slut?" Xavier asked as Y/n nodded. "Well you're not going to cum until I say so" Xavier said going harder in Y/n pussy. "O-oh pl-pl-ease! Let me cum!" Y/n said as she has to cum so badly.
"No you cum when I tell you to cum and that's not going to happen anytime soon. Your my cumdump and I will cum in you whenever I want" Xavier said back as Y/n kept babbling about wanting to cum.
It's been about 3 hours and Xavier still didn't let Y/n cum at all. Y/n is now in tears and looking like she got fucked so dumb. But with Wednesday and Enid in their mind they are wondering about what Y/n is doing with Xavier. "If he hurts my sister I will kill him" Wednesday throught.
After some while Xavier let Y/n cum as her eyes rolled back, back aching, and toe curdling orgasm. Even after that Y/n was able to make it back to the dorm without no one knowing, nobody seeing her, and not even waking up Enid and Wednesday. Y/n for the first time smiled to herself as she got back in her bed.
"That was the best...." Y/n thought as she finally went to sleep. But with Xavier he couldn't sleep because he was thinking about how vulnerable Y/n was when he was fucking her for like 3-4 hours straight.

I'm fading away, anchor me with your light
----------
Percy Leo Maria Bianca
The names swirled around him, stabbing. A re-opening of wounds. Achlys stood, hunched, watching, a cold smile gracing her twisted, sobbing features. "So much misery- a perfect specimen"
Nico wanted to scream. He couldn't. His throat was closed and tears refused to come. All he could do was thrash at the smoky name-bonds, as they cut and bruised him, over and over.
"And yet- and yet-"
Faster than he thought possible, Achlys was right there, latching onto his chest and pulling back to reveal anther smoke-name
Will
"No."
Nico thrashed harder. He wanted to scream, to cry, to kill Achlys where she stood.
"Another one, hmm? How much longer will he last until he cracks too? How long 'till he realises that your mine, unlovable and perfect in misery? Tell me, my dear, can a heart still break once it's stopped beating?"
Everything went black, but echoes remained and they were stabbing him and there was no-one who loved him and he was being shaken and it was a monster- a monster - and his fingers were digging into flesh - wait. Flesh?
Nico opened his eyes to a mop of blonde hair and a face set in a grimace of pain. He let go of Wills arm and rolled off the bed, avoiding looking at Will. He was still frustrated at the nightmare, and all the dread and worry and anger bottled up directed itself to both himself and Will, the only living things in the Cabin
"Sunshine?"
"I don't want to talk about it." Nico knew he was being sulky, but right now, he couldn't care less
"Sunshine" "What?" "We agreed that we wouldn't do this anymore"
Nico's anger exploded
"Oh, WE don't do this anymore do we? We talk about things, do we? We eat three square meals, we get the proper amount of sleep, we go to training, we don't practice self harm?
No. WE don't, Will, I don't. And I'm SICK of EVERYONE trying to CHANGE me so it just suits THEM better. I'm sick of it! Take me as I am or leave. And DON'T EVER CALL ME SUNSHINE AGAIN!"
Nico ran out, not thinking to grab his jacket or his sword, disregarding all thoughts except for get away.
He found himself at his personal favorite spot. A secluded clearing on a hilltop, surrounded by boulders.
A tree had fallen in the middle of the clearing, providing a hiding spot that Nico took gladly, collapsing behind it, facing toward the inky black forest, curled into himself against the cold air and icy grass, sobs racking his body
Well done Nico. You just lost Will. Just when he was beginning to be your friend. What hope do you have with him?
Nico cried harder, untill all he felt was empty and all his tears were gone, simply laying there, drained of everything except exhaustion and sadness.
Eventually the first streaks of light began to grace the sky Taunting him.
A crunch of footsteps.
A voice
"Sunshine?"
Will climbed over the log. Of course it was Will.
Will crouched and ran a hand over Nico's arm. Nico was too tired to register the flutter of his heart. Too drained to muster anything but exhaustion and vague sadness as Will pulled him up, still curled into a ball and wrapped him in a blanket that he had magically produced from his pocket.
Will sat and pulled Nico into his lap, cradling Nico against his chest.
"Jason said you might be out here. Well. Either here or at - well- you know."
Bianca's grave The words hung unspoken
Nico sniffled and curled deeper into Wills chest, inhaling the warmth that Will constantly emitted.
Wonderful Apollo powers
He was too tired to insult Will right now.
"You wanna talk about it?"
It was a few seconds before Nico spoke, his voice frail and cracked in the cold pre-dawn air
"It's just- everyone I love- leaves me- and- I just- I can't- don't want to lose you too-" Nico felt Wills arms tighten around him, and a ghost-like kiss pressed to his forehead "I'm not going anywhere Sunshine. Promise" "You can't- make that sort of promise-" "Well, the world can change its rules, 'cause I just did"
At that, Nico broke down again, sobbing into Will's jumper, shudders racking his small frame.
"I-I'm s-sor-rry" "Shh, you don't have to apologise, it's okay. Shh" Will continued to whisper reassurances, rocking them back and forth slightly, brushing Nico's hair.
Soon, Nico's sobs had turned back to sniffles and the sun had finally peeked out from the horizon, illuminating the forest below, making the dewdrops shine in the dawn light.
Will finally broke the silence
"We should get back. Before- you know, they start to worry"
Nico nodded. Will scooped him up and began the long trek back to camp.
Nico buried his face in Wills shoulder, closing his eyes. The steady heartbeat in Wills chest and the slight even rocking of Wills steps soon sent the exhausted demigod to sleep.

Blur / Blight : Character Songs
I can't find and edit the character songs post I made awhile back, so here's a new, updated one! Mainly because I want them to be more accurate + also fit with their past lives' themes and arcs!
I'll add N and Colress once I think of ones for them!
Hilbert - Shojo Rei
If we were able to love each other In that transparent world It repeats again; A flashback, the buzzing cicadas And you, who will never come back Our matching keychains Are being torn apart for all eternity The girl with that pale white skin That the summer got rid of I find myself wanting to be possessed by her so much it makes me sad
Cheren - Lower One's Eyes
Peace can dirty like water into wine Baptized and brought to light I'll make them see you're a witch in disguise Innocence has died Wilted by your lies Let's break you from this cage But you never came to set me free
Bianca - RGB
Don’t know where we lost connection within our stories Once again we return to what lies there beyond The things we talk about We wanna speak about The pages will someday fill and then you’ll see So now let’s keep on adding to the story Even the setting red sun will lift up at once And the blue days of youth we have spent together Our memories won’t forget They won’t fade away And like the way the greens will always sprout We can meet again sometime
Hilda - That's Why I Gave Up On Music
I’m suddenly taken back to that time Growing old was the only thing on my mind Knowing that someday I would die was like a stab in the chest, though I never understood why “Hey do you know what you’ll be doing one day?” Passing by the years I knew what I would do one day I’d be doing nothing at all
Nate - The Blessing
It's your life, your story, your way And it's not owned by anybody And it has no answer that is right Up to you to walk the route you point at Now the spell is broken And as we're now about to part with that fiction, defined It's time to fly out to take off right now
Hugh - Outsider
With this body, I take a weight of rocks What's something that only you can do? Don’t stay here I don't need your comfort So that it doesn’t end up becoming a barren wasteland I hid that name and appeared here After searching for, forcing out, and sneering at those who act as they please, I cry
Rosa - Rats Died
Here we reside, the right timeline, The context and content best of their kind Shunning the illness for the outbreak it caused, I stained my hands stealing the doleful folks’ trust That lying prophet was the way that we grew Chewing up junk food just to cover the truth And yes, the voices sure God was dead, They left one day, have paid no visits since then

Conversation
Some more Broken Ballet Incorrect quotes
Hills: CHRIS! Is that a weed!?
Chris: No, this is a crayon-
Hills: I'M CALLING THE POLICE!
*Hills composes 911 on a microwave*
Gioia's voice, as Christian frowns in confusion: 911, what's your emergency?
-
Jona: Be careful, it's really muggy outside today!
Korey: If I go outside and all the mugs are on the front lawn, I'm gonna kill you.
Jona: *sips coffee from bowl*
-
Alek: Brittany is at that very special age where she only has one thing on her mind.
Jill: Boys?
Brittany: Homicide.
-
Yui, to Willy: Oh, I see! I can say 'please' and 'thank you' as many times as I can, and you'll never repeat it. But Dellilah says 'ass-face motherfucker' ONCE-
-
Rosaura to Jona, talking about the Asshole: I just don't think our dad would want his kids to become murderers.
Rosario from the afterlife: Kill the bitch.
-
Sadao: Are ya bearing the weight of the full spectrum of human emotion with no chemical buffer, son?
Jotaro, lying face-down on the floor: Yes, dad.
-
Gioia: I need a four letter word for betrayal.
Christian: Jude.
The entire Viola company:
Gioia: It fits.
-
Jona: OH GOD HE'S LOOSING SO MUCH BLOOD-
Yui: QUICK, WHAT'S YOUR TYPE?
Ronan, looking at Irving: Short, black hair, dark eyes, has a plan for everything-
Korey: YOUR BLOODTYPE, STUPID!
Ronan: Oh. *looks down at wound* Red.
-
Irving: I'm cold.
Ronan: Here, take my jacket.
Jona: I'm cold too.
Alois: 'Well, damn Jona, I can't control the weather.'
-
Chen: You wouldn't know. You haven't been through hell.
Sadao: I'll have you know I worked in a seedy bar overrun by yakuza who kept mistaking me for a twelve years old girl for four years. So not only have I been through hell, I served cocktails here.
-
Korey: You can't go, you'll die.
Ronan: Sometimes to win at chess, you have to sacrifice your king.
Yui: That's exactly how you lose at chess.
-
Nicole to Rosaura: I am way too sleep deprived to deal with your negativity right now.
-
Hills: Love is dead and never existed. All you did was betray me as I lay sick and festering. You are the definition of dread.
Stephane: Are you okay???
Hills: Nicole stole my fucking garlic bread.
-
Rosario, to Gioia: Birth is a curse and existence is a prison.
-
Ronan: What was it like, dating my brother?
Irving: Once, I asked Jona to bring me a glass of water when he was mad at me. He brought me a glass full of ice cube and said 'wait'.
-
Jona: I want you to sign those three little words.
Alois: 'I love you'.
Jona: That's sweet, but try again.
Alois: 'Fine. I will behave.'
-
(AU where there's no BS)
Sadao, to Jotaro: Your aunt's husband passed away about nineteen years ago.
Rosario: Quite telling everyone that I'm dead.
Gioia, completely deadpan: Sometimes, I can still hear his voice.
-
Willy: I made a marshmallow Brittany. Her arms are crossed, because she's mad at the other marshmallows for making fun of Daddy. Do you like it?
Brittany, tearing up: It's fine.
-
Dellilah: Are we sure we should be listening to these guys? I mean, who died and left Aristotle in charge of ethics?
Korey:
Korey: Plato.
-
Stephane: You ever wanna talk about your feelings, Chen?
Chen: No.
Rosaura: I do.
Stephane: I know, Ros.
Rosaura: I'm sad.
Chen: We know, Ros.
-
*police sirens in the distance*
Irving, who has never done a single crime in his entire life: They've found me.
Sadao, who they're actually after: You gotta run, kid.
-
Gioia: It's nothing against you, Ros. It's just that I only said 'I love you' to eight people in my life, all related by blood to me beside your father. And one of them I regret.
Rosaura: Who?
Gioia: My grandmother, who I thought at the time was on her deathbed due to getting hit by a car. She healed, and Hamon means she's not gonna die of old age before at least hitting her 100, so now I look like an idiot.
-
Hills: I don't feel well, I have this headache that comes and go.
Nicole: *enters the room*
Hills: Oh look, here it is again.
-
Ronan: You're mad at me.
Korey: I'm not mad, just disappointed.
Ronan: Oh come on, everyone knows that's worse!
-
*Hills accidentally locks his car keys in his car. Sighing, he calls the police to retrieve them*
Bianca from the window: DOCTOR! Is that a police!? *Hills frowns up at her in confusion* I'M CALLING THE WEED!
*Bianca composes 420 on the microwave*
Rosario's voice coming from Stephane's Degenerations, who's just sitting at the table: 420, what're you're smokin'?

Technicolor (Shalaska) Chapter 4 - Catrina
A/N: Hello! Nothing to say more than thanks for reading the shit I write! This may not be my best chapter, it isn’t masterpiece but I swear to god I tried. Enjoy and pls tell your opinion about it!!
Story summary: The powerful Alaska Thunder knew her life was boring, like a monochromatic painting she was stuck in. So when she meets a charming mess with thick lips called Sharon Needles, Alaska knew she would be the perfect push that her life needed to go into technicolor.
Chapter summary: After a weird yet bad first date, Alaska tries to find out what happened to Sharon.
Chapter four: “A calmer side”
Alaska dropped her purse and ran to the door, kneeling to hold Sharon’s face between her hands.
“Sharon? Can you hear me?” when there was no answer, Alaska looked up to the few people doing a circle around them. “What the fuck are you looking at!? Someone call an ambulance now!”
Bianca gestured to a waitress who pulled a phone almost immediately.
“The ambulance will be here in twenty minutes!” she claimed to a desperate Alaska.
Bianca kneeled and took Sharon’s arm to check her pulse. When her hand reached her wrist, she gasped. “Alaska, she’s not breathing”
“What?” she felt her heart stopped. Twenty minutes was too much. She couldn’t wait that long. “Help me pick her up and take her to my car, I can’t wait twenty minutes”
With Bianca and other guys who Alaska didn’t even bother to ask his name’s help, she could place her motionless body over the back seat and only minutes after that, she found herself driving as fast as she could to the nearest hospital.
“You’re gonna get a fucking cop to follow us if you drive like a maniac!” Bianca, who was scared shitless, grabbing the seat on an attempt to stay safe, yelled. “Watch out!”
But she wasn’t listening. All in her mind was the way to get to the emergency room as fast as possible.
Only minutes ago Alaska stormed the emergency room with Sharon in her arms and Bianca following her very close. Someone took Sharon and carried her inside the terrifying white doors in the background while a nurse gave her a form to fulfill. Alaska apologized saying she couldn’t give more information out of her name and finally, they left her in the waiting room with a simple “she’s gonna be okay” from the nurse, leaving Alaska to take a seat in the middle of an awful despair.
“Hey” a soft voice flooded her ears and a touch met her shoulder. She looked up to greet Bianca, holding an open bottle of water out for her. Alaska didn’t even notice she had gone. “Any news?”
“Nothing” she sipped on the water quickly.
Bianca sat and for a minute both of them were in completely silence, with the sound of two nurses chatting in the other side of the room in the background.
“Are you gonna explain me who she is or are you gonna avoid the topic and expect me to guess?” Bianca finally spoke.
Alaska knew she could trust her. That was why, when she asked, she answered with no hesitation.
“Remember Harry? My dad’s friend who worked on the company?”
“I don’t like where this is going” the brunette hummed suspiciously.
“She’s his daughter” Alaska replied simply. For her surprise, Bianca was completely calm.
“And you’re dating” she guessed.
Alaska shrugged tiredly, not even bothering to tell Bianca the fact she had met Sharon only days before. “You can say that, yeah”
“Nice” her friend commented. “Is your family okay? I really haven’t seen you in ages”
“My parents are in Florida enjoying another honeymoon and Justin is in France opening a new gallery” she sipped on the water again, seeing Bianca nodding in the corner of her eye. “He’s coming back next week, I guess. I’m not too sure”
“You should come to the restaurant and have dinner with me someday” Bianca’s eyes were flying on the emergency room, her attention displayed on the white walls. “We have a lot of things to talk about”
“Sounds good”
“And you can bring Shannon”
“Sharon” the blonde corrected with a smile. For a moment, she stayed in silence, thoughtful. “Yeah. I bet she would like to go”
A short nurse walked to them, holding some papers. “Excuse me, did you come with— this girl, she has black hair and a tattoo over her shoulder?” she stuttered in a little voice, trying to express herself by pointing at her own shoulder.
Alaska looked up hopefully and nodded eagerly. “Yes! How is she? Is she okay?”
“Follow me, please” was the only thing the nurse said. Alaska opened her mouth in confusion, but Bianca pushed her off of the chair.
She gave in and handing Bianca the bottle followed the nurse to the white doors Sharon was taken to. Alaska saw doctors and nurses running from one side to another with bottles and needles and any type of medical tools. The big room was divided in smaller ones by blue curtains. Some of them were open, where Alaska could see kids and people coughing. In other ones the curtains were closed and screaming came from inside.
Alaska swallowed hard but decided to not ask anything as followed the nurse. The short woman grabbed the curtain of one of the last rooms, where Alaska thought Sharon was, and whispered to the blonde:
“We don’t know what happened to her, but whatever it was, it caused a shock really hard” she warned. “She’ll be fine, just needs some rest and vitamins. These kind of things are caused by very intense feelings”
Alaska nodded.
“She asked for you and since she was a little upset I decided to call you” she talked again. “But before you take her home, could you stay a minute for me to talk with you?”
Alaska nodded again (what else could she do?) and with her affirmative move, the nurse opened the curtain to reveal Sharon.
She was sitting in a small stretcher, her eyes locked to the floor and her hair made a mess. When the nurse touched her arm, she jumped.
“I brought your friend” the woman said sweetly.
“Hello” Alaska looked for her gaze, but Sharon refused to look up.
“I’ll let you alone for a minute but I’ll be outside, call me if you need anything” the nurse turned to Alaska, who again, only could nod.
When she left, Sharon sighed and finally looked at Alaska, but she couldn’t recognize her. It wasn’t the beautiful strong girl she had met, she looked broken. “Don’t ask, please. I’m sorry for tonight, this is so embarrassing”
Alaska had questions. A lot. But all of them seemed to disappear at Sharon’s words. If she didn’t wanna talk about it, they won’t.
“It’s fine, don’t worry. Hospitals are amazing for a first date, don’t you think?” she joked instead, sitting on the stretcher by her.
“Only if you like to drink cough syrup instead of wine” she joked back with a weak smile.
“Are you kidding!? I love drinking cough syrup! And taking painkillers as dessert!”
Sharon’s laugh filled the room and Alaska smiled. She was glad she could make her laugh even in the gaunt state she was. But even then, Alaska couldn’t help but wonder what had happened to her.
“Do you wanna go now? This shit isn’t really comfortable” Alaska said with a giggle.
“Sure” Sharon sighed. “Just let me get some money for a cab—”
“What? No way, I’m driving you” she stated. Sharon knew that tone in her, it was the same she used to talk to her employees for them to do as she said without question her.
And for some reason, the fact that Alaska used it with her, made her heart jump in her chest. Any other time Sharon would probably have said no, but everything that came from Alaska was so beautiful she couldn’t resist to the idea of spending even more time with her.
Sharon got up slowly, her figure looking so small and weak from Alaska’s eyes, who only wanted to hold her and protect her from any fall. “Don’t, I can walk” Sharon had said, reading her thoughts.
Alaska let her walk outside the curtain and following her saw in the corner of her eye she could see the nurse, who must have heard their conversation, and remembered she had asked her to stay.
“Look for my friend Bianca outside, she’s the one with the long dress and weird hair. I’ll be there in a second” she told her. Sharon looked back for a moment, maybe thinking how the fuck would se find Bianca but shrugged and walked away.
Alaska turned to the short woman in white uniform. She was already looking at her, with sad eyes filled with curiosity. “Thanks for staying. Would you tell me where your friend was before she passed out?”
“She arrived to a restaurant. We were gonna have dinner there” she simply replied. “Why?”
“And where she was before that?”
“I heard her saying she was at work. Why?” she asked again.
“I found marks on her arms, neck and cheek. I needed to tell you this since if someone attacked her I must call the police”
Alaska blinked. Her mind wasn’t working as she wished it would, so she couldn’t do more. “I don't— someone attacked her?”
“She didn’t say a word about it, but if so I have to call the police. It’s the instruction we have to follow” she repeated to a confused Alaska.
“I’ll ask her later” she promised. “If something is wrong I’ll call the police myself, I swear. She doesn’t wanna talk about it now. Please”
The nurse seemed doubtful, but accepted anyways. Alaska gave her a little smile and a nod before going back to the waiting room.
If Alaska had questions before, she had a lot more now, but she would wait Sharon to be ready and tell her what had happened. Of course she would wait.
Once she got outside, she saw Sharon talking to another nurse and signing some papers as Bianca was at the door. Her friend looked at her, but before Alaska could walk at her a hand made its way to hers.
“Let’s get the fuck out of here” Sharon’s soft voice made her smile and walk a little faster, squeezing her hand between her fingers.
Bianca insisted she was driving and with that statement, Sharon and Alaska got into the back seats with their hands still on each other.
Alaska’s curious eyes couldn’t help but to look down on Sharon’s arms where the street light hit, only to noticing a little mark around her elbow. She sighed. “Sharon”
The tone alarmed something in the other girl, who looked through her lashes completely scared. “Yes?”
But instead of asking or claiming anything, she simply held her hand a little tighter, learning forward to caress her cheek with her nose. “Would you promise me our next date won’t be in a hospital?”
Even when Bianca seemed to be focused on the road, Alaska heard her giggling and Sharon laughed, relief filling her chest. “I promise”
Bianca stopped the car in the parking lot of The Dot and pulled put of the it with a simple “bye”. Alaska raised her head lazily from Sharon’s shoulder. “I’ll go to the other seat to drive you home now”
Just like a blurry memory, minutes ran away and Alaska suddenly found herself in Sharon’s apartment after a long silent trip. Her first idea was to take her home and go to her own place, but she couldn’t resist Sharon’s request for her to stay.
The apartment was in the second floor of a small building and it was everything she could ever think represented Sharon. It was stupid, but she had imagined it all in her mind before, and it was exactly was how she had pictured it; adorably decorated with horror movies posters and pictures hanging in the living wall, black and white being the colors that pre-dominated in all the furniture, a smell Alaska liked but couldn’t identify yet, there was Sharon’s essence all over the place.
“This is pretty” she praised when the cold air stopped hitting her cheeks, checking the place out.
Sharon stepped back from closing the door and gestured for her to the only couch there. “Thanks… I don’t receive visits that often so… do you want something to drink?
“Anything you’re having”
While Sharon approached to the kitchen, Alaska sat on the couch and breathed out trying to relax. For some reason, the nurse’s words kept floating on her mind. The will to ask was in the tip of her tongue, but her common sense just kept pushing it back every time.
To distract herself, she looked at one of the pictures in the wall of Sharon with her father.
What would the poor man think about his boss dating his little daughter? Alaska wanted to punch herself. It’s not the best time to shame, she thought.
“I low key wanted to get something romantic like champagne or some shit like that but it’s over so I got beer” Sharon giggled as she walked back to the little living. Alaska was about to say something when she placed a glass in front of her. “And since you don’t drink beer, I got you lemonade”
“How did you know I don’t drink beer?” Alaska took the glass with a grateful smile.
“You told me days ago, we were talking about gross food and you mentioned beer” she simply replied like if it was the most obvious thing in the world.
Of course Sharon would remember a trivial conversation they had days before. Alaska started thinking she remembered everything.
Sharon sat in the small couch and sipped on her beer shortly. Alaska did the same, at the spontaneous change of atmosphere. Suddenly, everything seemed intimate and calm, as the only lights were in the kitchen, so they were sitting there in almost darkness.
The silence felt just right, words weren’t necessary at all.
The will to ask attacked Alaska again, but this time, her common sense wasn’t able to stop it. Her hand went to Sharon’s arm, nails running on the skin until she got to one of the marks. She felt Sharon tensing up.
“May I ask something?” first of all, she knew she had to be careful, so her voice came out as a whisper.
Sharon knew what was happening, she wasn’t dumb. With a nod she made Alaska know she was ready.
“Did someone hurt you?”
Even when Sharon thought she was ready to answer her questions, it fell on her like cold water. She could feel Alaska’s eyes on her, but she couldn’t look up from her beer.
If was when some lips pressed on her own when she realized she had closed her eyes for a second. She looked at the girl curled by her; at her face, her gaze, her open lips waiting for permission to go back to hers where they belonged.
And then Sharon could see more. She could see beyond her body, she saw her soul and thoughts, and she kissed her again.
Her lips were grateful they could forget the taste of the guy who broke into them hours before to remember Alaska’s softness against them as any pressure in her body seemed to disappear.
Seconds ram as the kiss became more intense, until they both were craving for air. Contact was broken and they looked at each other for a moment with shining eyes.
Sharon sighed and heavily learned backwards as she looked away.
“As a child, kids used to be mean at me all the time” her voice came out shaky and weak and Alaska wanted to ask again but desisted. “They called me horrible names, some of them pulled my hair and pushed me when I was walking. My teachers told me to ignore it”
The security Alaska was used to see in Sharon had stepped aside to let a shy little girl take place over her.
And what could Alaska do? Shut up and listen.
“My parents never knew, I tried to fight it on my own so they didn’t have to worry” Sharon explained. “I tried everything. I changed myself to fit in, I did all they did so they could like me but it didn’t work so what could I do? I decided then, if they weren’t gonna like me, I’ll have to make them to fear me. I went to other school and suddenly I was this mean bitch who only had one friend, Sutan. I insulted people but at least they didn’t step on me, they thought I wasn’t weak as others so I could stay outside that ‘predators and victims’ circle”
“I promised myself I’d never let anybody to take control over me anymore” then she looked down at her arm, tracing the mark with her fingers. “But sometimes you can’t avoid it, I guess…”
“Who was it?” Alaska demanded, angrily pursing her lips.
“His name is Alex, he has been looking forward for me since I started working in the store. At the beginning it was cute, he used to give me gifts and pay lunch for me, but then… it became weird…” she swallowed hard. “It started with the ridiculous jealously. Where were you? What are you doing? Ware you talking with? That kind of shit. It tried to ignore it but today he went insane when I told him I was going on a date”
“Fucking asshole…” Alaska gasped. “What did he do?”
“He hit me and held me down to kiss me with those gross ass lips that tasted like Cheetos” Sharon replied with distaste and sighed.
Alaska squeezed the glass in her hand. “I sweat to god tomorrow I’ll call the best lawyer in Pennsylvania and we’ll bury his ass in jail”
“No, Alaska…” she shook her head tiredly.
“This is not something you can ignore. He has to pay!”
“It’s okay. He won’t touch me again” Sharon assured.
Alaska wanted to believe her. But what if he did? What if Sharon was alone— what if he dared to do more a next time than a few punches?
“No, of course he won’t” she stated. “And I’ll make sure that, but if you don’t want me to call a lawyer we’re gonna do something about it”
Sharon learned forward to a little table next to the couch and took a cigarette from a drawer. Before she could take the lighter that was over the table, she raised a brow. “Do something?” she asked with the cigarette already between her lips.
“Yes!” Alaska nodded.
“And what do you have in mind?” Sharon challenged as she lit the cigarette and Alaska admired the security going back to her almost automatically. The deep moment of weakness she had had ended and Alaska was grateful for that.
She hated the idea of Sharon being sad and not being able to help her, to protect her. But when Alaska saw her blowing the smoke into the air and looking as breathtaking as only she could look, she knew Sharon didn’t need someone to protect her.
Alaska bit her lip. She didn’t expect that question and she had to act fast. “I can’t let you go to that store again knowing he’s there… I know Michelle Visage, I can get you a job with her!”
Sharon looked at her as she almost choked on the smoke. “You know who!?”
“Michelle Visage” Alaska repeated, weird out. “Do you know her?”
“Me and all the fucking America!” Sharon’s mouth was a little O. “She is a badass in the make up world, she has her own cosmetic line!”
“Oh, I didn’t know she was that famous” Alaska admitted. “My company manage the insurances for her house and car so we had to talk a few times, she’s nice”
“Oh my satan, you’re friends with Michelle Visage!”
“I’m getting you a job with her in one of her stores” Alaska smiled.
Sharon shook her head violently. “No, definitely no, I’m not letting you do this. Working with Michelle would be great, I mean, she has been one of my biggest idols since I started doing make up and I would meet important people and go to those big ass parties with celebrities and drink expensive champagne with them but…”
Sharon’s word were cut by Alaska’s lip pressing over hers for a moment. She could be mad for the cut off, but instead, continued the kiss and bit Alaska’s lip softly.
“Why did you do that?” Sharon asked once they had broke contact.
“You won’t shut up” Alaska excused with a smirk.
“You’re a bitch” Sharon breathed a laugh, blowing the smoke of her last drag at her face. She offered the cigarette to Alaska. “You never said anything about smoking”
“I don’t go it since college. Justin and I would go to his apartment out of the city to do it since our parents hated it and we visited them all the weekends” Alaska stopped for two seconds before taking the cigarette. “But my parents aren’t here now”
“Rules are made to break” Sharon smiled as she looked lovingly how the smoke ran out of her mouth. “Aw, now I feel I’m a bad influence for you”
And maybe she was. Alaska ended up finishing the cigarette, but the other girl wasn’t bothered. In fact, Sharon seemed more than happy to watch her in complete silence.
When she finally buried what was left of the cigarette in a the ashtray over the table, she pulled out her phone just to know it was 12:43 a.m.
Time was Alaska’s worst enemy, no doubt about it. It was annoying and used to confuse her to death.
Sharon’s soft breathing and closed eyes made her know she was already asleep. Alaska sighed, she had to go but she couldn’t wake her up, the day had been too tiring for her.
She was about to stand up when a hand held her waist.
“Stay” said a sleepy Sharon.
“I can’t” she shook her head.
“Why? It’s Friday, you don’t have to work tomorrow. Please”
Then she nodded. Ironic, that was the first time she would stay in somebody’s place just to sleep, not to fuck. And she was surprised it actually felt nice.
Really nice.

Don't Stand So Close to Me Chapter 5 (Biadore)- Splatt
Hi people! Been a while, huh? I got distracted by other fics…. Well, here you go! I hope you like it. I’ll have another update tomorrow and the next day to make up for the three months without an update. Love you all! Let me know what you think.
Roy turned on the doc cam and switched the input on his computer. “Okay, I’m going to walk you through an example.” He brought his left hand up into the camera to adjust the paper.
The class started murmuring loudly to each other.
“What? What did I do?” Roy asked, raising a brow.
The talking died down slightly, and one girl in the third row spoke up. “Is that your soul mark?”
Roy glanced backwards at the big screen behind him and turned his wrist out. “Yes. We all have them. Can we get back on topic?”
“Is that lipstick on it?” One of the boys in the back of the room shouted.
Roy flushed and snatched his hand out of view, rubbing at the bright pink that he hoped no one would notice matched the color on Danny’s lips today. “What is this, twenty questions?”
Danny covered his mouth with his hand and muttered a curse.
“Have you met your soulmate? I thought you were gay?” The first girl asked again.
Roy sighed. “Gay people have soulmates too, and men can wear lipstick, you know. We’ve been through the whole drag queen thing. Let’s get back on track, people. You have a test in a few days, and it’s not my fault if you distract yourselves and fail.”
Everyone turned to Danny, who sat avoiding eye contact with everyone and covering his face.
“What’s his name?” another person asked.
“Look, we’re in the middle of a lecture, and if we don’t get to a section you’re still responsible for it on the exam.” Roy went back to writing out a reaction.
“Hey Danny, what’s that lipstick color you’re wearing?” Someone yelled across the room.
Danny froze and shot a panicked look at his professor, who kept his face schooled into a bored expression. Danny reluctantly moved his hands away from his mouth. “It’s called… uhm… candy yum yum.”
A few gasps and chuckles were heard around the room ad people caught on.
“Can we please stop talking about makeup and get back to the lecture?” Roy groaned.
Everyone ignored him. “Danny, what’s your mark?”
He pulled the sleeve of his jacket down farther to make sure it was completely covered and avoided the question.
“So you two are soulmates?”
Roy sighed. “I am so going to get fired.” He sighed.
“Fuck!” Danny exclaimed. “Can’t you all just shut the fuck up and stop asking questions?” He glared at the people around him. “I think I liked it better when no one talked to me.”
“You’re not making things any better.” Roy rolled his eyes at his lover before addressing the class again. “Okay, none of you are going to let me get back to the lecture, and this will probably be my last class before they fire me, so go ahead. Our subject for the rest of the class is soul bonds.”
Everyone excitedly talked for a few seconds before someone in the back yelled out “How long have you two known you’re soulmates?”
Roy sent a sympathetic look at Danny before answering. “Not long. A month, maybe.”
“Can we see both of your marks?”
“You’ve already seen mine. His is exactly the same. That’s how soul marks work.” He said dryly.
In his seat, Danny shrugged off his jacket and took his bracelets off of his left wrist to show the people around him.
“What does it feel like?”
Roy chuckled. “I think it’s different for both of us. I don’t think the bond manifests the same way in each person. From what he’s told me, the basics of what we both feel is that when we’re in a room together, it feels like a physical pull. Like we just always need to be closer. Right? Is that pretty accurate?” He asked.
Danny nodded in agreement. “It gets kind of painful sometimes, like, we’re not even ten feet away from each other right now, and I can feel the pulling towards him, and it hurts to not be next to him. The only time it really goes away is when we’re touching, and then it feels like it explodes and everything is right.”
“Where it differs is that he says that anytime there’s some sort of skin-on-skin contact, there’s a tingling sensation wherever we’re touching. For me, it’s more of an inner feeling of being whole or peaceful, and I didn’t realize before we met that I felt somehow incomplete, but now I can feel it whenever he’s not there. He says it gets worse when I say his name.”
Danny grinned. “Aww, look at you getting all sappy! That’s so cute.”
Roy waved him off. “It’s for science, Daniel. You have to be thorough when reporting your findings.”
“So you can feel that right now? The pulling?”
Roy nodded. “Constantly.” He glanced over at Danny again to see that the younger man had a yearning look on his face as if just talking about the two of them touching was physically too much for him. “Don’t you give me that look! You look like a fucking kicked puppy. I can’t deal with that right now.” Roy chastised his lover.
The girls around Danny all “aww”ed when his face fell and his eyes got even more sad. Roy tried to look away, but couldn’t snap out of it until someone else asked a question.
“Is the first kiss really as powerful as everyone says?”
Roy smiled sincerely at the way Danny perked up at the mention of kissing.
“It’s so much more.” Roy nodded.
“And it’s not just the first. It always feels like that.” Danny put in. “It’s just so different the first time that it kind of feels like… right. It feels right.”
“Not so much fireworks as feeling whole, and like someone found a way to heat up your blood in your veins and start your nerves firing double time. It’s really fascinating.”
The class “aww”ed at the tender words.
Danny smirked. “Plus, the sex is great.” He wiggled his eyebrows.
“Shut the fuck up, queen!” Roy rolled his eyes. “Do you just not have a filter at all?”
“No.” Danny shook his head. “No I do not.”
Roy sighed. “Okay, ignore him. Do you have anymore questions?”
“How did you figure it out? That you’re soulmates?”
Roy frowned. “That’s… Danny?” He looked to the boy for permission.
He hung his head embarrassedly and traced his mark with one finger.
“That’s personal.” He walked over to Danny and put a hand on the boy’s shoulder. “Hey,” he whispered. “We’ve talked about this. It’s okay.”
“Tingly.” Danny leaned his head onto the man’s hand and smiled. “I just wanted you to come over here.”
Roy laughed. “You’re such a fucking bitch. I thought you were actually upset! I swear I’ll come into your dorm at night and cut up all your fucking wigs.”
Danny gasped and grasped at his blue wig. “This shit was expensive. I know where your drag is, too, you know.”
“Can we see a picture of you in drag, Professor Haylock?” The girl behind Danny asked.
“You know what, fuck it. Sure. If I don’t get fired for fraternising with students, I’ll even come to class in full drag.” He walked back over to the desk and pulled out his phone. He found a picture of Bianca and put it under the doc cam for the class to see.
In the picture, Bianca, Adore, and Courtney all stood together on stage laughing. It was after Adore’s first show, and her lipstick was all over her face from making out with random guys in the crowd. Bianca looked as pristine as always, towering over the barefoot queen with one arm around her waist and the other around Courtney’s shoulders.
Danny laughed. “That was a great night. I had really missed performing on stage. Do you have the video? You should show them that.”
Roy rolled his eyes. “No one is going to want to see that.”
“See what?” someone asked.
Roy motioned for Danny to explain.
“Us performing. Well, she emcee’d, so she introduced me and I performed.” Danny grinned.
There were a few murmurs before people started asking to see the video and what a drag show is like.
“See? They want to see it.” Danny winked. “Plug it into the computer and pull it up on the big screen like that. That way the sound comes over the speakers, too.”
“Daniel, I have no clue how to do that.” Roy groaned.
Danny got up and straightened his skirt before strutting up to the podium and set up the video on the computer. He pressed play and turned to watch.
Bianca walked out on stage and pretended to kick Courtney away. “Alright! That was Courtney Act! She’ll be in the alley out back if you wanna give her a different kind of tip. She’s almost as much of a whore as this next bitch. We’ve got a new girl here tonight. I’ve never seen her perform in drag, but she gives a good show in the bedroom. Everyone give it up for my soulmate, Adore Delano from Azusa, California!”
Adore came bouncing out and pulled Bianca in close to her. “Hey baby.”
Bianca wrapped her arms around the girl and kissed her briefly before handing her the mic and going offstage.
Adore grinned at the audience. And the music started.
“Wednesday’s panties on a Friday night. Drive in movie and I’m getting mine.” She sang, dancing around the stage and feeling herself up.
“Down down down duh-duh, I’m DTF Down down duh-duh, I’m down.”
She pulled a twink from the audience onstage and started grinding on him before spinning around and kissing him hard. The rest of the song, she danced with the boy, letting him feel her up and making out with him until the music stopped.
“Thank you so much!” She smiled, her lipstick all over her face. “Now get your ass off my stage.”
The video ended with Bianca coming back out onstage.
No one knew what to say for a few seconds, before Roy fake coughed into his hand, saying “Slut”.
Danny laughed. “I’m a slut and you’re a hateful clown.”
“Danny can sing?” Someone called out.
“Bitch, what, do you think I just lipsync at the clubs like the other girls? I write my own music.” Danny scoffed. “I’m a fucking vocals major!”
Roy looked up and had to crane his neck to look his lover in the face. “I have a question. Why is it that you’re willing to walk around campus all day in 8 inch platform heels, but you perform barefoot?”
“You just don’t like that I’m more than a foot taller than you right now.” Danny patted the professor’s head and leaned down.
“Sit down. We got really off topic. Who has soulmate questions?” Roy motioned for him to go back to his desk, but he plopped down in the teacher’s chair instead.
“Is sex different when it’s your soulmate?” One of the guys in the back asked hesitantly.
Danny leered at his lover, looking him up and down hungrily. He pulled Roy in by the waist and rested his head back on the older man’s stomach.
“What are you doing?” Roy asked.
“Feeling tingly. Answer the question.” Danny closed his eyes and smiled serenely.
Roy lovingly rolled his eyes and put his hands on Danny’s shoulders. “The short answer is yes. It’s different.”
“Did you feel a connection straight away when you met, or did it get stronger or something? Did it feel different once you actually realized you’re soulmates?”
Roy thought for a second. “I really don’t know. When we first met, my eye was drawn to him straight away, but I don’t know if that’s just because I’ve never had another drag queen in one of my classes, let alone one who dresses in full geish every day. Once we… He called a random number in his phone one night when he was having a really hard time with not having friends and dealing with everyone’s reactions to him crossdressing, and it happened to be me. I think that he was subconsciously drawn to my number because he knew somehow what we share the bond. That’s probably why I talked him down and drove out to pick him up instead of calling the police to go get him, and that’s how we figured it out.” He held tighter to Danny’s shoulders when the boy winced at his words.
“Once we actually saw each other’s mark, it was like, ‘oh my god, that’s what this feeling is.” Danny agreed. “Even if he wasn’t my soulmate, he saved my life, and that’s not worth nothing.”
“I guess once we figured it out and could put a name to the feeling, it seemed like it got stronger just because we could recognize it.” Roy shrugged.
Danny reached up to take one of Roy’s hands in his own.
“Is that why Danny came into your office when I was there?” Jason asked.
Roy laughed loudly. “Yes, that’s why Danny came into my office. That was actually only two days after we figured it out. That’s one of the reasons I was so fucking pissed at you and those other two assholes. Nobody can insult Danny except me.”
Danny nodded. “And Shane.”
“Shane doesn’t realize when he’s being rude. He says it’s an Aussie thing, but I’m pretty sure it’s called ‘Being a Douche’.” Roy clarified. “For anyone who has not been to my office hours, Shane is my graduate assistant. He’s the blonde in the video.”
“Courtney Act.” Danny said with an australian accent.
“What does Danny look like out of drag?” One of the girls near the front asked.
Danny cocked a brow and pulled his wig off, shaking out his hair. He found a picture on Roy’s phone of him out of drag and put it up on the screen. “I look like a boy, yay!” He cheered sarcastically.
“He’s cute as a boy.” One of the girls in the front whispered to her friend, and Danny winked at the pair.
Roy held up the wig. “Am I putting this back on you, or are you done with it for the day? Why did you even take it off if you were just going to show them a picture?”
Danny shrugged. “I’m good. I’m a beautiful mermaid from the ocean with or without it.”
“Party.” The older man mocked.
“So it’s probably completely useless to ask this, but how about we not tell everyone about this so that Professor Haylock can keep his job here?” Danny addressed the class. “I promise I’m not getting any extra help or hints or anything. He just laughs at me when I get all bitchy about getting Cs in this class and tells me I should study more.”
Roy chuckled. “That’s because you don’t study, Dan. You don’t study at all.”
Danny motioned to him. “See? I have no unfair advantage, and Shane does all the grading, anyways. I just get fucked by him and perform with him.”
Roy groaned. “Daniel Anthony Noriega, would you please just not mention any kind of sex in front of the class?”
“What? We’re soulmates. If they think we haven’t fucked, then they need to think again. It’s not like I’m getting on my knees in front of everyone.” Danny reasoned.
“Nope. Just stop talking. Class dismissed. We’re done. I probably won’t ever see you again.”
Everyone started to get up and leave when one heckler in the back yelled for the couple to kiss for them.
Roy glared in the general direction of the person’s voice.
“We won’t tell anyone you’re soulmates if you do!” The boy promised. Slowly, the other students started to nod their agreement.
“Why do you want to see us kiss so badly? What are you going to get out of that?” Danny asked. “I mean, I’m down, but why?”
A girl in the front row shrugged. “It’d be cute, and some of us have never met a pair of soulmates before.”
“Fuck it.” Roy threw his hands up and grabbed Danny by the waist, pulling him in and kissing him hard.
Danny moaned loudly and pressed himself flush against his lover. The two were breathless when they broke apart.
“Jesus Christ that was hot…” someone in the middle of the room commented.
Danny looked down at Roy, his pupils blown out and his mouth still hanging slightly open. “What is the closest deserted place to here with a lockable door?”
Roy rolled his eyes and gently pushed Danny back a half step. “You have a class across campus in 20 minutes.”
Danny whimpered at the loss and pouted. “No I don’t. It’s friday. This was my last class of the week.”
Roy eyed the rest of the class. “You got your kiss. The next class needs to get in here.” He reminded them, walking out with Danny close on his heels.
The two made it to his office, and Roy shoved Danny against the door, pinning his arms above his head.
Shane yelped in surprise and looked confusedly between the couple. “What the hell has gotten into you today?”
“The whole class saw our soul marks at the beginning of the period. Roy’s probably going to be fired, and I want to be bent over that desk.” Danny explained in between kisses.
Shane scrambled to gather his papers and left, shouting that they had half an hour before he would be back.
Roy pushed Danny roughly on top of his desk and pulled his skirt up to his waist.

Danny pushed off the desk and sat sideways on Roy’s lap, his breathing evening out slowly.
“I love you.” Danny sighed happily.
Roy grinned and kissed his soulmate tenderly. “I love you, too, Danny.”
The two of them sat silently enjoying each other’s company for a few more minutes until Shane walked back in.
He looked at the two of them and let out a long breath. “Thank god you’re both dressed. The president of the university is headed this way.”
“We didn’t get undressed. I’m wearing a skirt.” Danny cocked a brow.
“Danny, I think you should go to your dorm.” Roy frowned.
Danny shook his head. “I’m not leaving. I’m a part of this as much as you are.”
Roy groaned. “Please don’t be difficult. You don’t need to get in trouble, too. If you’re expelled, you have to go back to Azusa.”
“I’m staying. I’ll be quiet and out of the way, but I’m staying.” He insisted.
“Fine. Go sit over there and don’t say a word.” Roy pointed to a chair in the corner.
