Excellent!!! If I have any power, let it be used to get people to play fallen london and its related games (sunless seas, sunless skies = Survival exploration, mask of the rose = visual novel)

#I know three people at least started bc of my suncrab posting which is continously funny bc. You ain't gonna see suncrab in fl #Except for the fact it's everywhere and everything but also plainly. Ho ho ho, of course!! Lancer is CRIMINALLY underrated I tell you, kid deserves WAY more attention than he currently gets

Glad to see another Lancer fan pop in <3!

#yk bit of a random thought but i think people see Lancer as relatively surface-level character-wise #they see all these other characters like Noelle & Spamton & Ralsei etc #characters who CLEARLY have more to them you would need to be blind to miss it #Noelle is one of the main characters as of Chapter 2 & has obvious struggles #<- notably her father likely passing away later on & her interest in Susie (not a struggle but yk)#Spamton is a secret boss & has a lot of intrigue & mystique to him #<- plus he already has connections to characters like Swatch & the Addisons #Ralsei well yk how it is with him he's literally one of THE main characters #<- & we still don't know much about him & some people likely still think he could be evil as i'm typing this #<- that's how mysterious he is #but Lancer? he rly just seems like the comedic relief yk #<- the goofy sidekick #but no! Lancer is SO MUCH MORE than that! & it sucks that most people don't see it!#Lancer hs SO MUCH potential man i rly RLY hope he has a major role to play later on #<- not just in Chapter 1 #he's canonically part of the Fun Gang too ain't no way Toby Fox has this be canon #<- & completely tosses Lancer aside in later chapters #i have faith in Toby i think he can & will give Lancer justice in later chapters #just my endless tag ramble #maybe i should make this its own post and go more in-depth #yk what fuck it this is getting a deltarune tag on edit #ask #deltarune

I don't think it makes sense for fnaf to have a child protagonist be a conniving, violent and incredibly smart murderer wanting to follow in the footsteps of Mr. Afton JUST because he defended himself in SB, albeit in extreme ways. Lil rant from absorbing the absurd politics on tumblr, featuring Harry Potter discourse

People who are pro-Snape and anti-characters-who-say-anything-negative-about-Snape linger on how he was bullied and overlook (or at least minimise) how he was a Death Eater.

It overlooks the minutiae of being a Death Eater that we don't see - how suffered, yes, but he chose hate, chose to follow and directly support a bigoted terrorist, knowing the plan was to strip people of their rights; how he killed people, tortured people, for that end. Even if he came to regret it later, those are things he did.

I have seen some of these people also say that anybody who voted for Trump is evil. Anybody who didn't vote at all, or voted third party, is responsible for anything bad the government does in the next 4 years. It is your fault, they say, and I will never forgive you.

You can see the cognitive dissonance there, right?

#for reference I find Snape interesting as a character and do not think he is Good or Evil #that redemption is possible #i just also believe that people here are so prone to black and white thinking #and i know how easy it is to hate #but i think we could be more thoughtful in what we want to share and put out into the world #and is it helpful to say to somebody on the other side that they are evil?#what do you want to happen from that?#what do you expect to happen?#might delete later #if this turns out to be an unproductive thing to say lol #these things are complicated #and i haven't articulated this in the best way BUT i had to get the thoughts out to stop myself from doomscrolling #i ain't tagging this shit cause i'm not convinced i want anyone to actually read it #i hate it here

Man, I love Tumblr. I don't know if it's just my fyp and you all are dissolving in chaos around me, but I can get some actual peace here.

Which is weird because this is Tumblr. Aren't we supposed to be the place where chaos is... chaosing? We should all come together and do evil.

So you see, all other social media *cough* twitter *cough* so many other places too*cough cough* just do this confusing thing called drama.

(A translation for us normal people: that basically means everyone and everything is offended and screams at each other through a bunch of pixels. The worst part is that as soon as you even slightly care... you're done for. I mean that in any way you can think about. Did I mention that solid proof, a base necessity in this kind of situations, is incredibly rare and sometimes even faked. I know it is horrid.)

Now, come back from YouTube and my brain is hurting. Boom. Such peacefulness is unmatched. (I mean.. there was that one person in someone's comments who kept pushing their view of religion onto others in an incredibly stupid way.)

#like no rly how did they come up with this character in por and then ruin him in rd #i love him as a villain but then rd rly tried to pull the whole ''sad backstory makes it all better''#when even sephiran didn't get that. he got ''sad backstory doesn't make it all better but makes it understandable''#and he was given another chance when he accepted his mistakes and stopped being gung ho about Ashera wiping out humanity #it's like they tried to make it seem like it was all okay bc zelgius was honorable and stuff #so now all his evils are just okay and erased and it's not so bad that he did a LOT of horrible things #and now mind you it's not like we STARTED with a backstory for him #it's not like they gave us a backstory early on for us to feel bad for him and want the best for him #they gave us a straight up wretched villain for the entire ass game!!!#he even said he'd kill the whole family by the roots when mist wanted revenge!#like if they gave us a backstory much sooner and toned him down that'd be one thing #but they left us with this version of him for an entire game and never indicated anything abt a backstory #mind you tho it didn't stop there bc he still did pretty horrible shit in rd too #that gets swept under the rug entirely if you don't bring tibarn to the tower #and even if you do it gets brought up again and then swept under the rug anyway #he was as bad as ashnard in por so it's like... why suddenly make him seem like a Good Dude #bc all it makes it look like to me is He's A Good Dude Who Just Did A Whole Lot Of Seriously Horrible Things #which like again I could get behind if we'd been given his story early enough and he wasn't as villainous as he is #but he also made the decision on his own to be the way he is. it wasn't a matter of circumstance of any kind #he's doing it all willingly. no amount of ''but I was born a Branded'' makes it any better.
