Noun: Tissue

Tissue: any of the distinct types of material of which animals or plants are made, consisting of specialized cells and their products; tissue paper; a disposable piece of absorbent paper, used especially as a handkerchief or for cleaning the skin; rich or fine material of a delicate or gauzy texture; an intricate structure or network made from a number of connected items

#another rare instance of me not being absolutely late to posting one of these #despite how tired i am #i did a LOT of dishes (both in our newly cleaned dishwasher and by hand)#and my girlfriend and i did a bit of shopping today (although we didnt buy anything from anywhere other than walmart)#we actually purchased two of the fresh collectors edition doctor who commander decks for magic the gathering #i got the tenth doctor one and my girlfriend got the thirteenth doctor one #and we are gonna share them cos she really likes ten too #and im sure ill love thirteen when i finally watch her episodes (😬)#anyhoo i love this prompt #mainly because of how im interpreting it #even though i know there are numerous other combinations and interpretations #but i interpret this to mean 'tissue' in the human body 'rebelling' in some way #whether it be as natural as an autoimmune condition or disease or as something unnatural #im honestly fascinated by how easily our own bodies can betray us #(perhaps because mine does so regularly and i wish to understand why or how)#this also reminds me of the arctic plague from how high we go in the dark by sequoia nagamatsu #and how it causes organs to start turning into other organs #theres a lot for me to play around with in terms of my idea and im excited about it #thanks for reading #writing #writer #creative writing #writing prompt #writeblr #trying to be a writeblr at least
