My favourite manga series is one you have never heard of*

IT HAS EVERYTHING: DRAMA, BLOODSHED, FOUND FAMILY, LOST FAMILY (🥲), RANDOM INVINCIBLE BEINGS, CONFUSION, PAIN, FUN...

So. There is this manga series that has been my absolute #1 favourite since around 2014, I think. I found out about it from a random Youtuber I used to watch, who made those monthly review/recommendation videos for manga he read.

Thinking it did sound very interesting, I just went and bought the first volume and was HOOKED. The manga in question is Vanilla Fiction by Megumi Osuga.

The premise is simple (or uh, as simple as I could water it down): Guy named Sato, who is a best-selling author, is also a huge pessimist and can only write bad endings. Now, he's pressured to write a happy ending. Right at the beginning of the first manga, he stumbled across a murder scene and then somehow ends up adopting a little girl that was there. Or uh, rather she forcefully adopts herself lmao 😭 And then he gets the task of saving the world (aka happy end for humanity?? Real??)

(Also her little angle wings backpack 🥹🥹🥹 It's so cute 🥹 And later on in the story, Sato has a jacket on with angel wings 😭)

As if Sato isn't confused enough, all of a sudden there's this weird guy (who names himsels Ozamu Dazai. Yeah, I know... Another manga character with that name HOW ORIGINAL, but I think this came out just some months before Bungou Stray Dogs so it's a funny coincidence that both of those happened along a similar time 😭) who gives him a lore drop and explains HOW he has to save the world and all that, also it turns out the guy is kinda invincible and is some sort of weird human ragdoll zombie (or something like that). Sato first finds out about that because he accidentally killed him (in his defence: Dazai is ANNOYING AS HELL‼️)...

As for saving the world, Sato has to eat cookies with the little girl or else the world will end (because of chaos theory mome nte). Thing is, other people also want to do that. So some sort of weird battle royale-esque shenanigans ensue. Yippee‼️‼️

And I gotta say this manga has some of my favourite aesthetics, I absolutely ADORE the artstyle and also the characters are so great and (MOST of them...) lovable!!

When the manga was still coming out with new volumes, I'd always read them immediately and then lend them to my friend who I got into the series, so we could both talk about it and it was just always so nice experiencing the hype of a new volume together 😭

And then, in 2016, when the final volume was released... We were both devastated 😭😭😭 Tbf, there was a volume before that which hit just as hard goobey...

Some years later though, I realized... No one ever really talks about this manga. And when I go search for it, all people talking about it are in German. Then I slowly realized HOLY HELL THIS MANGA DIDN'T EVEN GET AN ENGLISH TRANSLATION, NOT EVEN A FAN TRANSLATION ⁉️⁉️

The name Vanilla Fiction tbh is also not making it much better, and the covers are such a huge don't judge a book by its cover moment, because you'd think it was a cute little shoujo manga 💀 But then you open it and there's just a bunch of gore happening right at the start so. Yeah.

Man... I love talking about Vanilla Fiction a lot, but I know they'll never even get to experience it now, so that's kinda sad. It has been my favourite manga series for a decade now and I can't even talk with people about it 🥲

This is one of my favourite like old WWII style songs, I just think it’s beautiful and really great to dance slow to (at some point in my life I will dance with my husband or wife to this song in our little kitchen, and then my life will finally be complete). It’s in Doctor Who (in The Empty Child) and Jack and Rose dance to it in front of Big Ben, like it’s a really great scene in one of the best episodes of Dr Who ever. So good and a great WWII song.

Obviousssss, but this song was such an integral part in me figuring shit out about my life. Like, I was 14 and a massive Troye fan when it came out and (growing up in a working class, strict religious, small town family) the music video was literally my first understanding of the fight for queer rights. I knew about LGBTQ+ identities and identified as a variety of queer labels at the time I was completely unaware of the entire struggle that had come before me and seeing photos and footage of this fight for the first time was O.o Anyway, I'll stop talking about myself and say that I’m incredibly happy with the hc of the Captain trying to learn a bit more about queer history in his journey to accept himself.

besties this got so fucking long but heres a giant ramble about cherri

okay so. there are huge differences betwn cherri as a hyperviolent drac hunter and cherri as a friend of the four and cherri as the girls mentor. with the first one he was 17 and desperate to distance himself from his upbringing so he went all in on Being A Killjoy. he was always one of the first ppl to rush into a fight and he fought hard. he blew up his fuckin hand with that attitude. and all the while he was just racking up more unaddressed trauma and eventually he ran away from that, too. giving himself radiation poisoning was more appealing than facing his problems.

so as a teenager/young adult hes kind of constantly in a panicked state. hes scared the people from his past are going to find him and drag him back with them. so he lashes out and he runs away over and over again.

i said in another post that he has some past life shit goin on which usually would give him a connection to the witch that manifests early in life, but with all the stuff hes gone through he has been Preoccupied. he can become oblivious to almost anything that doesnt apply to whatever hes focused on. not in a hyperfocus way its likeeeeee. when u live on survival mode during prolonged periods of stress. hes immune to magic bullshit bc hes too tired and scared.

anyways around his mid-20s he finally has a little more stability (as much as the average person living in the zones can have, that is) and he finally notices that Weird Stuff happens around him. basically: out of my list of Powers People Connected To The Witch Have he has the prophetic dreams/enhanced intuition as well as a form of sensing ghosts where he can see auras and kind of like, echoes of past events in ppls lives. that look like auras. itz complicated and not of utmost importance so im leaving it at that.

anyways thats what makes him start writing poetry. just 4 funsies he'll describe his weird experiences and embellish them to make em pretty. just as a casual hobby n all that.

he would forget fun ghoul in between the times they ran into each other but its pretty easy to be reminded of who fun ghoul is. the most insane 10 year old cherri has ever met. cherri isnt a brother figure to ghoul. hes just. his friend that happens to be more than twice his age. its whatever lmao

to cherri, ghoul is kinda like a stray animal he keeps seeing. which is hilarious. ghoul actually goes and finds him to introduce him to jet when they start running together, and cherri meets party and kobra (spark and birdie at the time) when he drives the four of them to a party. because he has a truck hell yeah. so now instead of one stray animal he has, like, a feral cat colony that he drives around occasionally. i have no real-life human relationship equivalent to them because irl if some guy that is not related to any of you and isnt even a childhood or family friend and theyre hanging out with you? they are usually not a safe person lmao. but this is my fantasy land and im too stubborn to change anyones birth years even though ghoul being born in 2004 makes everything really hard to make not creepy.

so yeah hes a casual somewhat friend of the fab four. hed probably get more and more concerned as they got famous. the beginnings of any sort of protective feelings, awww :) that sets him up for becoming the girls mentor.

OH FUCK. THE GIRL..... i think if i was in my late 20s and i heard that the gang of 13-17 year olds had adopted a 5 year old kid i would go bananas. what the fuck. it is a LONG while before cherri meets her. but he has the strongest affection for ghoul (if you could even call it that) and ghoul absolutely adores the girl and swings her around under her arms like a cat to show her off to cherri and its very endearing and the girl is sweet and funny so its easy to be around her. and (unfortunately) she is somewhat used to interacting with weird easily agitated people so she kinda gives him space. cherri isnt quite the uncle figure the fandom usually makes him (i luv uncle cherri sm but he simply cannot exist in the universe ive created, f), but hes a little similar.

and then the four had to go and pretend to die. lol.

when the girl was kidnapped, fucking everyone who knew her was ready to storm the city then and there. like regardless of how little you knew her, if you had ever met her you would fucking die for her. she is pure childish charisma and shes precious. i love the girl. so cherris immediately on board with whatever plan the four make to get her back. ive already talked abt how it fucked up the girl tho; there was no way to tell her that the four werent actually dead, she sees the building collapse and she shuts down. and cherri has to fight against his instinct to leave the radio station and never come back when he sees an eight year old girl sitting dissociated on the couch. that fucks everyone up.

i just realized i havent talked about literally anyone else at the radio station. i think cherri started lingering around the station bc it was safe and sheltered while also not being a popular spot. there are less kids there (people pass through but its not a hangout spot). he was kind of just hanging around to get away from the heat and noise and dr d took notice. because that man can see ur soul and no one knows if thats literal or not. so theyd chat a few times a day and show pony was the one 2 get him out of his shell a little and also was the first one he mentioned his poetry hobby to. im making this all up right now as im writing bc i dont know anything about LITERALLY any of the ppl associated w the radio like im not even going 2 try with chimp n newsie i do not have the willpower to tackle all that. justttt. cherri pony n D become bros and live 2gether there.

back 2 the regular timeline. the rescue mission happens in 2019. the girl lives at the station until 2023. during that time she is very much depressed and withdrawn and is only happy when the four come to visit. none of the Adults know how to help her so they just keep her safe and cared for and hope she'll open up to them.

she does not. she takes the weird cat thats been hanging around and she runs away.

cherri does not see her for three years. shes still worse for wear in the mental health department and he can see all kinds of visions of what shes been through since the last time he saw her and he fucking hates the ultra vs bc they remind him of his past. he does not want her going down that path but its obvious that she isnt crazy abt the ultraviolence thing either so thats a relief.

they have a kind of tense relationship throughout the comics. he feels like he failed her and that spirals into feeling like he failed the four for not being a good adult to them and fun ghoul for not helping enough when his commune was bombed and all kinds of shit and that irrational thinking mixed with plain old, yknow, caring about the girl, is what makes him take a bullet (laser. whatever) for her.

i was trying to figure out the timing of each of their ghost experiences, but i want both of them to talk to the witch and im just gonna make it like dreams where a whole buncha stuff happens but irl its been like seconds. so its like barely a second while the girl has her Witch Convo and cherri FINALLY gets a straight answer, yes there is weird shit going on with him having powers. he doesnt have any story-significant past lives because im lazy, hes just an old soul. like really fuckin old. the amount of latent life experience and stuff his soul/energy/whatever has picked up along the way makes him VERY noticeable to gods n stuff. he fuckin lights up all the alarms like what the FUCK is that over there. she wasnt rly able to get to him or even properly notice him while he was a kid and a young adult so shes happy to finally see him again. he has a STRONG sense of familiarity with her. they know each other on a wild ass level that he cant really comprehend.

A/N: This is my first time writing for Damien and the Smosh cast in general so go easy on me ah. But, I do hope you enjoy, this was super fun to write and LOOK OUT for a post in the future with my request guidelines! I’m gonna start taking regular ones for Smosh and maybe some other Youtubers?

“Come one, come all! Welcome back to another try not to laugh! You already know how this goes down!” Courtney happily exclaimed as she shot her fingers at the camera, one eye closing and a smile tracing her lips. Around her sitting on the stool stood Noah, Keith, Olivia, Shayne, Ian, Damien and of course, yourself, a special guest on today’s newest episode of everyone’s favourite series. 

“You wanted more, and you know we can’t deny you guys something so sweet!” Keith finished from beside Noah.

“Someone sits on the hot seat while everyone else attempts to make them laugh, hopefully ending in some spit takes and goofs and gaffs!” Ian flashed a smile as the gang clapped and shouted, some beginning to pump themselves up. Well, one person was pumping themselves up.

“I am SO READY!” Shayne shouted, flexing his muscles before turning to you, standing behind Damien.

“If you don’t know who this is, this is Y/N and its my life goal to make her laugh so hard she pees so this-” he stepped forward and pounded his chest, “is gonna HAPPEN!” 

You laughed loudly and playfully kicked his leg as everyone cheered for you, Shayne giving you crazy eyes before stepping back beside the stool.

“Y/N also happens to be our boy Damien’s lovely lady,” Ian commented making everyone ooo at you two. Damien blushes slightly as he squeezed your body close to him in a tight hug.

“Can’t wait to make water come out of her nose,” Damien smirked as he looked to you, causing you to shake your head and cross your arms. 

“You’re going down, Haas.”

“Um, you’re both going down.” Shayne stopped forward again and squared up to you both. 

“Alright alright let's go!” Courtney shouted as she ran off the stool, patting you on the back as she ran back. 

“I’ll go!” Ian yelled as he flashed everyone a sly smile, grabbing one of the water bottles underneath the stool. You shot Damien one last look as you winked, jogging behind the partition to prepare. Damien shook his head and smiled to himself, his eyes crinkling sweetly as he thought of you. 

You hadn’t been dating for long, but your relationship was beautiful. Shayne was the one who introduced you two one spring afternoon and your life had changed. He was so special, so beautiful, so charming. He had swept you off your feet without much effort, but of course, he put it in any way. Damien was a true gentleman, no man had ever loved and cared for you like Damien had. And the love wasn’t just one-sided. You were everything Damien had needed and wanted in his life and more. The two of you fit together perfectly, and everyone knew it too. That’s why they all wanted you on Smosh, after politely refusing for so long. Courtney basically begged you to get your ass down to the office. Adding in a please and thank you only after she had already bullied you into it. 

After Ian, it was your turn. Shane kept true on his promises so far, making you do an epic and slow-motion worthy spit take. Pretty much everyone made you laugh, especially Damien, But he knew exactly how to do it, knowing as soon as he muttered the words “You’re mother paid for 10 minutes, so its whateeeever you want,” you were done for. That line always worked on you, it was a cheap blow. But he knew that. 

“Ah! I saw a drop!” Courtney yelled at Noah as Olivia stood in front of him with God knows what on her body. Noah shot forward and nodded, more water falling out of his mouth as he laughed. You laughed along as well and clapped, a large grin falling onto your face as Olivia walked back behind the partition, a proud look on her face. 

As Courtney walked out to try and successfully make Noah laugh, something you were proud to say you did, Damien landed a chaste kiss to your forehead, causing you to scrunch your face. 

“Nuh-uh, we’ve got beef, mister,” You stated, your hands flying to your hips. Damien scoffed and matched your same position. 

“Don’t be mad at me just because I’m hilarious, babe.” Now it was your time to scoff at him as you rolled your eyes, smirking up at him. 

“Yeah, Dames, you’re soooo funny.” You deadpanned at him. He shook his head as he took a step closer towards you.

“You think you’re better than me?” You cocked an eyebrow at him and his words and chuckled. Damien smiled and landed a kiss to your nose. 

“Hate to break the sexual tension here, but you’re up Damien,” Courtney said as she placed both her hands on each of your bodies. The cast snickered as you blushed, pushing Damien towards the hot seat. 

“You’ve gotta beat him, Y/N,” Shayne said coming up behind you, placing a hand around your shoulders. You smirked to yourself as you looked to Shayne, flashing him an innocent smile.

“Something’s brewing in that head of yours. You better spill.” Courtney said as Noah and Olivia appeared next to her, listening closely. You nodded to yourself and looked up at everyone. 

“Don’t you worry, I’ve got this.”

“You piece of shit!” Damien shouted as he leaned back, his lap now covered in water from his very sudden burst of laughter due to Shayne, effectively sending the water all over himself. Shayne only laughed loudly, a wide grin spread over his face. Damien shook his head as he sat back up on the stool, clearing his throat and laughing with some of the crew. You stood right next to the partition, nothing with you except your confidence, waiting for Damien to give the signal that he was ready. You squeezed the empty soda can in your hands, smirking devilishly at your boyfriend as he held up a thumbs up and hummed. Shayne slapped you on the back as you walked out, crinkling up the soda can more. 

You stepped out in front of Damien, a stern look on your face as the corners of his mouth began to turn up slightly at the sight of you. Suddenly, you threw the can to the side, opening your arms widely and stepping even closer to him. You eyed him up before letting out a thunderous burp, instantly making him begin to laugh and squirm.

“You think you’re better than me?” The whole cast and crew couldn’t contain their laughter as you remained so composed and serious, your eyes boring into Damiens.

You were going to get him. And you knew this would do it.

“You think you’re better than me?” You repeated, letting out another burp before and after, Damien’s face turning redder as you kept going, his mouth struggling to remain closed.

“You’re not my real dad,” You squinted your eyebrows, tilting your head to the side and forcing out another burp. 

“You’re barely my real mom.”

As soon as those words left your mouth, Damien lost it. His water sprayed out to the right, as he jumped off the stool, laughter and cheers coming from everyone in the room. You dropped your hands and smiled widely, doing a short celebratory dance on the spot you stood. The cast began to come back out, cheering and clapping as you ran to Damien, giving him a big hug. He wiped his mouth and pulled you close, walking you both over towards the rest of the group.

“That was good,” Damien admitted with a tilt of his head, still hugging your body close to his.

“I think the all-star award should go to Y/N, she KILLED it today!” Noah said as he looked to you. You shot him a smile and posed for the camera, taking a small bow.

“I didn’t even know she could burp like that,” Damien admitted, rubbing your back. 

“I’m telling ya, Y/N and Damien are the same person,” Shayne exclaimed to the camera before looking over at you back in Damien’s arms, his arms wrapped around your shoulders, pressing your back close to his chest as he stood behind you. You only shrugged before turning over your shoulder to sneak a look at Damien. He smiled down at you and hugged you a little closer.

“But Dames,” You started, a serious look falling on your face again, slightly confusing him and everyone else. You cocked an eyebrow at him and smirked.

“Do you think you’re better than me?”

When he’d first gotten the diagnosis,Peter wasn’t sure if he was relieved or not. Part of him thought that hey, hefinally had a reason—a state sanctioned, recognizable reason to feel like shitall the time. Literally all the time, but the idea of having to live with this—thisconstant state of fear. Heart-pounding, hands-shaking fear. Panic at the dropof hats and the desire to run, trapped in his knees at all times.

He couldn’t imagine a life likethat.

He couldn’t imagine having towrangle this beast every day for the rest of ever.

Just the thought brought everythingback into the center of his chest again and the weight there made him want tocry. Sob. Scream out at the unfairness of it all.

But then a hand caught his forearmand another one started stroking his hair.

“Honey,” May said, “You aren’talone. I’ve got it, too. I know. It’s scary, I know.”

The knots holding his chesthostage loosened at the sound of her voice. At the realization that hey, Maywas just a normal person. She did normal people things. She went to work, shecame home, cooked an inedible meal, watched shit tv, raised a child, and thenwoke up the next day to do it all again. She’d done that for years, longer thanPeter had been alive.

And she’d made it.

She didn’t have any specialpowers. Just…tenacity. Quiet tenacity.

May wrapped her arms around himand told him that it would be okay and he wanted so bad to believe her.

But really, this is based off of my own experiences with my anxiety and tinnitus (there is absolutely nothing that has fucked me up more than realizing that I constantly hear things that no one else does and nothing I can do will make it stop. It triggered my anxiety BIG TIME and no amount of reading/research/forums helped with that. I only really felt better when my mom called me and revealed to me that she has had the same thing for her whole life and she’d never, ever told me, which to me, was a testament to how I could get used to it and move on with myself. She told me that eventually it would just become my new normal and once I stopped trying to reject it, it actually has. It still scares me sometimes, but it’s bearable and I am learning how to cope.) Obviously this is most likely not the same as your situation and it is a fairly mild/harmless condition for me, so I’m not trying to diminish what you’re going through, but rather I just hope that you get to experience that feeling of relief and of being held up by all the hands that want to hold yours, even when you feel like your palms are vastly empty.

How did you discover the show?

I’d seen a few stray posts about it on my dashboard, but didn’t really know what it was or take any notice. I’m laughing sm because the person who tagged me here had p much the same story, but eventually I stumbled across this video with Bob’s Burgers audio and for some reason it was what finally pushed me to go and find out what the show was. That was a month or so after season 2 had just dropped and here we are!!

Oddly enough, I’d actually binged all of Voltron Force quite a few years back when I was younger, but it wasn’t until a good while after I’d caught up on VLD and started dabbling in the fandom that I remembered that show and made the connection that it was the same franchise.

Was it love at first sight or did it take you a while to get into the show?

It was “Intrigued enough by certain elements that I’m willing to keep watching, but not totally hooked on the story,” at first sight. I really did love the characters from the get-go, and it was that and the humour + snappy dialogue that kept me around to give it a chance. 

As far as the story went and the fact that it was about giant transforming robots, it wasn’t really my thing. It was when it started getting into Pidge’s character arc- Fall of the Castle of Lions, with the flashbacks to her at the Garrison and meeting Lance and Hunk- that I became truly invested. 

Do you have a favorite Paladin?

Keeeeith!!! My son. 

Do you have a favorite Lion? (If it’s different from your fav paladin, why?)

Not really? I guess Blue, because she’s the first one they found and the one that knocked off the entire adventure. Green and Red are pretty cool, too.

Do you have a favorite Villain?

Haggar! Wonderfully creepy and sinister, and the added depth they’ve been giving her in the past few seasons- what with the OG Paladin backstory and her rediscovering her memories of being Honerva etc. etc.- have just made her so much more interesting. I’m excited to see where they take her character!!

Do you have a favorite Alien Race? (recurring and/or minor)

I actually wanna know so much about the Galra, I’m curious! The Balmerans were pretty cool guys, too.

Favorite side / other character(s)- Rebels, General, Blade of Mamora, Garrison, etc?

Kolivan is awesome and I’m sad he wasn’t in s6 and I want to know everything about his past. I also love Shay a lot!! And Matt, of course. Gotta love Matt. 

How/Why did you join the fandom?

I wish I’d known beforehand about the absolute chaos that is the VLD fandom because it’s just an automatic thing for me to seek out fandom content after I decide I like something lol. Still- I’m hyperfixated now so there’s no going back. I’m here already, so I ain’t going anywhere >8)

It’s also pretty much a given that if I’m fixated enough on something and love the characters as much as I do VLD’s, then I’m gonna end up making stuff. Gotta have people to share it with when I do, right?

Care to share a favorite headcanon?

Aro-spec Keith, hell yeah!! Unfortunately for me, his character tends to end up the centre of a lot of shipping content as we all know- so it’s an unpopular hc :(

I also really like bi Keith so I’m just great at picking all the unpopular ones I guess lmao 

What do you think is the best part of the show?

The characters, hands-down. They’re just so charming, they gel together so well. If it weren’t for them, I wouldn’t even be watching this show- it was when Pidge’s character arc came into focus that I became invested, and all of the character-driven moments are the ones I look forward to the most and remember more fondly. 

Also the humour. It’s snappy, witty, and charming when they do it right. A lot of that is once again down to how lovable the characters are and the chemistry they all share.  

Any hopes and wishes for future episodes / seasons?

As much as I’ve enjoyed the past 2 seasons and all that delicious drama/intense battle scenes, I really do miss the more easygoing atmosphere a lot of the first 2 seasons had. The kinds of scenes where the gang can just... stand around and argue over what a laser gun sounds like. I’ve loved what the show has given us, but I need a damn breather now lol. 

I really hope the gang gets a chance to regroup in the next season; just go back to a more casual feel, just for a bit, just a few scenes sprinkled between the plot. A chance for them to relearn how they all fit together, now everyone’s in one place again. A change of pace would be good for the show, I think.

Tying into that, I’ve seen a few people make this point already, but I would really, really love to see them start pushing that “found family” vibe the showrunners keep trying to sell. Things have been hectic with how fast the plot’s been moving, and I’m not at all unhappy with what the show’s given us, but I really do just want to see everyone.... being friends, getting to know each other, growing closer, being the family that they keep claiming they are. Maybe I’m feeling a bit salty because Keith has been left out of the mix for so long- I don’t wanna see him jump back into play, only for them to go back to their old dynamic where it was Keith & Shiro vs Everyone Else. There was always a distance there that I wanna see bridged, now that they’ve all grown a little. 

The massive Keith stan in me also just wants everyone to love and appreciate Keith for the incredible person he is and make it clear to him on no uncertain terms that they all care about him. The massive Allura stan in me just wants her to stop being so hard on herself and take a damn break. 

The part of me that’s falling more and more in love with Shiro is feeling strangely at peace after s6...... but please for the love of god let him dye his grandpa hair back to black dsfjgkhjhkhd

Do you think you’ll stick it out until the end of the show?

Well I’m kinda hyperfixated on it and that’s no easy thing to shake, so yeah. Besides, I love the characters too much to just pack it in halfway. Keith is just too special to me.

Ok so Patrick catches Ben “flirting” with her and he gets pissed and shows him she’s his? Reader finds it funny because Ben is tiny and adorable, the exact opposite from her bf. i’d really like that, thanks!!!

AUTHORS NOTE: i was listening to ‘la ocasíon’ while reading this and it reminded me of how hot owen is so there’s that + i love ben sm so this genuinely hurt to write yikes ??

“Alright, on the count of three, I’m gonna shove you into her, Benny boy.”

“Richie, I don’t think—”

“Three!”

Richie Tozier’s hands pressed against Ben’s overly stuffed backpack and handed him a hard shove in the direction of where Y/N was peacefully heading out of the school’s north entrance. The force was a hair too much on Richie’s part, on purpose, sending both awestricken Ben and his oblivious crush tumbling to the grass laying in front of the school. Ben’s usual dose of panic shot through his veins from the collision into the girl, immediately regretting telling Richie about his little crush, the shock from the impact leaving him laid across the ground even as Y/N had already rushed in getting up.

Pushing herself to her feet with ease, dusting the dirt that found its way to the short skirt she had worn specifically for Patrick’s plans after school, her narrowed eyes fell on the boy planted on the grass who looked up at her like she was a celebrity just striding through the school’s hallways for fun. The glower on her face had morphed into from the shove softened up when she read the obvious lovey-dovey signs that Ben had smeared across his adorable face at the sight of her, a look she wasn’t used to receiving anymore since she linked herself to the infamous Patrick Hockstetter.

“You okay there?” Her soothing, velvety, voice pulled him from his loving thoughts surrounding her; putting a pause on the numerous amounts of poetic verses he was already conjuring up in his brain at the sight of her lovely facial features under the warm April sun.

Outstretching a genuine helping hand down to the shoved boy, the corners of her baby pink lips twitching into a coy half-smile at the thought of finally emitting the same effect Patrick always had on her onto someone else. It gave her a sense of control, making someone be as love stricken like she was with her boyfriend, a feeling that wasn’t familiar with her. Her freshly painted red nails heavily contrasted Ben’s pale skin when she curled her fingers around his palm, pulling him up with ease and nodding down at him in acknowledgement.

“Uh, yeah. I’m so sorry about him, he has this stupid thing where he thinks pushing his friends is hilarious.” Ben hastily apologized, his shy tongue stumbling over his words and his clammy hand rubbing the back of his neck in embarrassment.

The familiar flush of scarlet stretched across his cheeks when the girl didn’t bother breaking her intent gaze on him, feeling as if all the innocent thoughts he had since he first saw her were written all across his skin for her to publicly view. Instead of from disgust at his obvious liking towards her, which is what he had anticipated since he first took notice of her in the halls, Y/N accepted his crush on her with open arms — in desperate need of the ego boost and lacking the bone in her to torment the poor boy like her boyfriend would if given the opportunity.

“Trashmouth Tozier? Yeah, I don’t find that hard to believe.” She softly laughed he situation off, glancing back at where Richie and his friends were watching the spectacle and quickly turned their observing eyes away when they she looked their way. “I’m Y/F/N, by the way and you’re Ben Hanscom, right?” She inquired, cocking an eyebrow at him with friendly interest.

“Yeah, I just moved to Derry a few weeks ago.” Ben explained, even though, he was sure that it was a known fact around the school now.

“So, I’ve heard.” Y/N nodded, not bothering to mention that she had heard that little fact from the group conversation her boyfriend and the gang were having; talk of what to do to put Hanscom in his place being the topic circulated throughout the car. “How’s it going for you, so far?” She asked him, the attention she was throwing his way not something he was used to from people other than the Losers.

“Well, it’s—“

“Here, let’s sit.”

Y/N interrupted what she expect to be a long reply by leading him over to the concrete, now empty, steps of the school and taking a seat at the bottom step. Patting the empty spot beside her, eager to have a normal conversation with someone other than the gang, she looked up at him with expectant eyes that Ben just couldn’t find himself saying no to. Hesitantly seating himself on the step, leaving a safe distance between them, he beamed at the sight of her sweetly grinning at him as she urged him to continue what he was saying.

“So, tell me about your stay here so far.”

Some luck seemed to oddly be on the girl’s side as Patrick stood a few yards away with his back to her, unaware that the person he was waiting for was seated at the school’s entrance with another boy at her side — a sight he would’ve put a stop to immediately if he was present at the scene. Not all luck was on her side, though. The rest of the gang were leaning against the car with their gazes set on their friend’s girlfriend and their ears forced to listen to the explicit details Patrick was given them on his plans for tonight; Y/N, undressed and in his bed, being the focal point of his words.

“Oh, yeah?” Henry rudely interrupted Patrick’s obscene words and pushed himself of the car. He stared down the much taller kid and smirking at him in the way Patrick had seen him do many times when he was ready to tear down a kid’s self-esteem like his father always did to him at home. “How come she’s whoreing it up with the new kid then?” He smirked, nodding over at the school behind him and snickering at Patrick’s bewildered expression, a rare sight that he always treasured.

“The hell are you talking about, Bowers?”

Patrick lecherous leer fell into a frustrated frown at Henry’s words, eyebrows furrowing and narrowed, deadly, eyes landing on Henry’s amused face — daring him to repeat his last statement. When Henry met him with silence, the boyish smirk taunting him to reconsider his words, Patrick turned on the heel of his combat boot and looked back at where Y/N appeared to be having the time of her life. Scoffing under his breath when Y/N swatted Ben’s chest with her melodious laugh filling the minimal space between them, Patrick scowled at the sight of her attentively hanging onto every word the smaller boy was saying, an action that Patrick had only permitted her to use on him.

“I guess it’s time we introduce ourselves to that new kid like you said, huh?”

Patrick sauntered back over to the desolate school, the scowl on his face contouring back into his usual smile that screamed danger. His hands fell to his sides, balling themselves up into fists and the sweet idea of connecting them with Ben Hanscom’s face filling him with each step he took in their direction. The rest of them followed in suit, more so excited to have a fresh body to lay their hands on than to help Patrick, not having met their daily quota of kids to bully. The Losers’ gazes turned wary when they first caught sight of the lanky, looming, figure heading towards the school.

“Shit, Hockstetter’s headed their way.” Richie cursed, pushing his glasses up the bridge of his nose and looking over at the other two for ideas on what to do; knowing the three of them wouldn’t be enough to stop the deadly blows the gang had planned for Ben. “I forgot she was seeing that freak!” He exclaimed, desperately wishing that Beverly and Bill would hurry up whatever they were doing inside the school still.

“Fuck, you think he’ll be okay?” Stan asked, his question hanging in the air when the other boys refused to acknowledge the bitter truth, never leaving his eyes from the lethal storm approaching Ben’s romantic scene.

“No.” Eddie boldly replied, speaking the truth that the other two boys were afraid to voice, knowing that they needed the missing pair to be an effective distraction for Ben.

“Well, what do we have here, guys?” The laughing pair glanced up at the source of the new shadow looming over them, blocking the friendly sunlight they previously had. “New kid trying to get in my girl’s pants? Without my permission?”

Ben felt the blood in his veins turn cold at the sight of the group of boys that had it out for him since day one, his many attempts to steer clear of their path thrown out the window as he was forced to meet their most dangerous one in the eyes. Sadly taking sight of Ben’s frightened body, his once gleeful eyes drenched in fear because of her boyfriend’s mere presence, Y/N hurriedly stood up from her seat and stood in between them to serve as a makeshift barrier.

“Patrick, cut it out.” She weakly tried, crossing her arms over her chest in a defiant manner and forcing herself to stare up at him.

“Cut what out?” Patrick asked, glancing around the faces of his friends to see that they were enjoying this as much as him before jutting a thumb in Ben’s direction. “Putting this tub of lard in his place? Someone’s gotta show him Derry’s ropes, baby”

“That’s not funny.” Rolling her eyes at the usage of a pet name, knowing it was all for show, she grimaced at the sound of the gang snickering from Patrick’s crude comment.

“Did I tell you to tell me if it was funny, Y/N? Like I didn’t tell you that you could be a little slut with other boys.”

“He was just being friendly.” If it had been another scenario, Y/N’s words would have wounded Ben’s fragile ego but in this situation, he would rather want Hockstetter to believe that he was just being a friend.

Y/N coming to another person’s defense irked Patrick even more, the cruel intentions in him growing on the ruthless scale as he looked from his girlfriend to the enemy in his mind.

“That true, faggot?” Patrick’s attention falling on him caused Ben to hastily stand up from his once comfy seat, his pupils darting from threatening face to threatening face before landing back on the worst one. “Were you just being a friendly little shit to my girl or were you thinking of what she would look like under this ittt bitty skirt? Want me to give me you a peek?”

A long arm hooked around her neck, her hands desperately moving to pry it off due to it’s tight hold against her throat threatening her breathing, he pulled her back into the front of his body. Ben helplessly watched from where Vic and Belch were now holding him down as Patrick wrapped his other arm around her squirming waist, fingers curling around the bottom of her skirt and inching it up to reveal more skin than Y/N had intended. The gross whistles coming from the boys at the sight was the pushing point for Y/N to heavily push her elbow against his skinny torso, sending him stumbling back and freeing her from his hold as her hands flattened her skirt back against her thighs.

“Fucking asshole.” Y/N viciously spat at her stupid boyfriend, charging at his grinning figure with an intensity he adored but stopped by Henry Bowers roughly pulling her back in place by her shirt, stopping her mid punch and earning a sneer from her as she tried to swat his hands off of her.

“Look at what you did, now she’s all pissy with me and won’t do me later.” Patrick dramatically exclaimed, letting out an exaggerated huff and crouching down to where they had Ben held down by the soles of their shoes. “Thanks for screwing up my plans.” He lightly slapped his hand against Ben’s cheek in a taunting manner before shooting a look at Henry, the raise of the eyebrows and tongue running over his bottom lip giving Henry the go to take out his knife and let go of his girlfriend.

Pushing the girl off of him, Henry darted over to where the new kid was being held down by the other half, knife glimmering from the once innocent sunlight in his hand. Hopelessly watching as Patrick sauntered back over to her, his large hand cupping her saddened face, enjoying the sight of her pretty eyes glazing over from the threat of tears spilling from frustration.

“I only do it because I don’t want them to think they have a chance with you, I need to teach them a lesson. Don’t think you’re being let off easy, though.”

Patrick’s threat of her own ‘punishment’ were hidden underneath the sweet tone he forced himself to have; though, not fooling her one bit since she knew him all too well. “Head home, I’ll meet you there in thirty.” Softly pushing her away from him in the direction of her path home, Patrick shot her one last boyish smirk before he headed back to where his group of buddies were.

HELLO! it's your boy josh coming to give you some thoughts on the cast. coming into this game, the only person i know of beforehand is.. JACOB who has managed to snake me in both games we've played together so that's cute. i don't really have a choice but to trust him for now bc that's my only outside connection so we'll see how it goes. he's fun to talk to so i don't really mind but my eyes are PEELED for it going south.

my favorites just from the first night are probably aria, kiki, nathan, and saira. for no REAL reasons other than i just feel like i've had the best conversations with them and they were more fun than the rest of the cast. i'm not sure if those will stay the same but that's HOW I FEEL RIGHT NOW!!

i've reached out to everyone and heard back from everyone (other than nash.. dunno what that's about so i'll just let it sit there. i don't REALLY mind bc it's good if i win HOH because it's a good reason to throw someone up there). everyone is cute enough, though i think i've connected LEAST with brianna, dem, joey, and monty? just haven't gotten a lot of energy back from them but i'm hoping that was just FIRST NIGHT jitters of people not putting in their full effort into their social game.

i'm going to spend today just chatting with people so i have a base relationship with them and that way if jev goes the route of asking people who they'd him to nominate -- i'm not someone they name simply for not knowing who i am. trying to be a little SOCIAL QUEEN. fun and funky so let's hope it pays off.

for the twist, i'm not really sure how to play this. i don't think the first round is going to have the BEST power hidden in it but it'd be nice to know that i for sure won't be first boot. (though i'm feeling OKAY enough that jev won't kill me bc we've talked at least). i think i'm going to wait a minute before i ask someone to send me in, or someone just sends me in on their own accord. that way people don't look at me for having a secret power bc it'll be really easy to narrow down who has one and that's just such an unnecessary way to get a target on your back. i like the twist, it's just hard to figure out how to play it and maybe i should just wait until someone does it for me or i'm one of the later people to get it so i get safety when there are less people in the house and it'll be harder to survive.

He's here, he's queer... and oddly enough starting off by not doing a Video DR; however, I think when making an initial first impression/trust list this method seems to go a little smoother... First off, coming right off of Big Brother Pasio and thrown into this game has made my head hurt more than it should. I forgot how annoying and tiresome the initial conversations are with everybody. With that said, I have begun to kinda pick out a path that may be suitable for me this season. In Pasio, my goal was to lay low, not be seen, and form connections. That strategy is going to be partially active this time around as well. I'm a big personality, and while that's fun and cute, I learned by keeping a low profile in the beginning portion while remaining social it does wonders. I don't need to be a Skinny Nick character and be talking in the house call and house chat at every ounce I get. With that being said, this season is full of Pasio players... some in which I had both good and bad experiences with. However, pushing that aside I really have my eyes set and locked on Aria. I have a feeling that the other Pasio alumni may see her for how she played in Pasio and I do as well, but I want to make sure her and I are on as good as terms as possible. She did NOT like me in Pasio, so rekindling that flame is ultra important. Alongside Aria, I get to play with both Monty and Jacob who I've had rocky relationships with in the past, but have grown to become great friends outside this. Working with them is going to be vital, but keeping them too close is suicide. With that being said, here's my initial trust ranking:

okay, well nominations just came out and i can't say i'm too surprised that nash got nominated for eviction considering she hasn't responded to me yet and most everyone else is saying the same. i can't really imagine anyone using the veto on her unless she has a complete social turn around in the next 24 hours but that seems like.. a stretch. just gotta hope she doesn't win! we love an easy first week boot!

i'm a little sad about kiki getting nominated because i've really hit it off with them, but i think it's a good way to secure some trust with them and spark off a relationship. i've been trying to already be like YOU GOT THIS, YOU'RE STAYING! NASH DOESN'T TALK TO ANYONE! and i think they're being receptive. i like that i can joke around with them, so i'm hoping they enjoy me as much as i enjoy them.

i've also had aria and jake come talk to me about noms which means they trust me and that's GOOD. i want to try to secure something with them soon because i think they're both people that would want to work with me and i know that jake doesn't have a lot of connections already so being an early ally of his would be BIG.

just trying to focus on being a cute little social presence so people don't really focus on targeting me early on. i think this is a game full of half social players and some.. not so exciting people so it'll be easy to just slip through by not being the most boring person around. i don't want to promise TOO many people loyalty just yet but i think building a small core for myself will be important to keep me safe and i'm hoping that can come with jake/aria/kiki/jacob(?)

its week one. its week ONE. why is everyone being so cracked i hate it here i absolutely hate it here someone take me out with a sniper rifle im sick of this, but its fine im gonna try to do my best to explain EVERYTHING bc whew is there a lot..

First off lets start with the fact ive been talking with everyone from the moment i woke up and my fingers hurt so much but also now people like me and thats all i need in life so heck yes!! So when it was nash vs kiki i start planting seeds to keep kiki with people and then nash wins veto so thats thrown out the window yayyyy- 

Things start happening after jev renoms Mo. First off i get a call with crack kills (joey bri me) and we discuss the vote a little bit with Joey leaning towards keeping Mo and Me/Bri wanting to keep Kiki, joey leaves and me and bri talk about the alliance we were invited to (jacob josh jake kiki us) and then i notice theres a house vc which i then go and join alone.

It was silent for a bit before they mentioned they were talking about votes and were being kinda secretive about names but i asked directly so Mo tells me that dem told him that there was 5 confirmed votes against Mo (nash Jacob Nick Joshua/Jacob(dont remember which) and Josh c) he said the names really fast so i mightve missed a few and nathan interjects about my notes and like??? shut up nathan???? anyways i act all shook about an alliance and we talk about votes and apparently when mo campaigned to bri she just sent "hugs" and im caCKLIGN FDSGFDSH anyways that confirmed 5 votes is gonna make people nervous and cause people to keep Mo which like, im not totally against but i just want a unan vote please. Also i think dem & emma dont really trust me which is big ughhh idk if one of the pregame girlies (any of the names from that list) win hoh next week ill throw one of them utb easy peasy

today i woke up to a message from josh asking me what i think about being in an alliance with jacob brianna aria and kiki........ and im just like wtf where this come from and he said that jacob is making it and its just his fave ppl??? im like ok like im not one to turn down an alliance but i let him know that i dont rly trust jacob n brianna as much as the others in the alliance. hopefully this makes him feel close to me and not blab his mouth to jacob ab that! 

brianna has yet to speak to me and jacob is just someone im always gonna have a hard time trusting sooo if i have to nominate them down the line i won't hesitate unless this alliance is genuine and helping me in the game.

i really only trust emma so far with aria being my secret spy and big meat shield im gonna need in this game. aria's super well connected and im hoping she'll be able to provide me w the information i need to take bitches down later on.

“Y/N… long time no see.” Jungkook smiled at me and I couldn’t believe my eyes. Indeed, we hadn’t seen each other for a long time. 

“Yes.” I answered shortly and looked away. I had never thought that my childhood best friend, my old neighbour and classmate would grow up to be such a dangerous man.

“You know that girl?” The guy on his right asked.

“Hoseok, do you remember Choi Y/N?”

Hoseok.. How could I forget him?

“Oh… nice to see you again. How small is our world to meet you like this. You got prettier, you look amazing.” Hoseok chuckled. I was flustered hearing his words.

“Um… nice to see you, too.”

“Y/N, he’s Jimin.” Jungkook introduced him. 

“Hi.” I said and Jimin smiled at me in a friendly way.

“Thank you guys. I appreciate your help. I owe you one but I need to go… Bye.” I waved at them and tried to left the scene as fast as I could but I felt someone grabbing my wrist.

“We’ve just met again after years, it’s rude to go leave us here after we saved your ass.” Jungkook scolded me.

“If you weren’t so into the gangdom, probably I would be more than happy to meet you.” I said and I saw how hurt they looked.

“Just a cup of coffee won’t hurt you, you idiot.” He told me and released me. Hoseok and Jimin looked as if they had been amused very well then Jungkook noticed them.

“Fine.” I sighed and the four of us headed to the nearest shop.

The streets were almost empty by 2 am. But everybody knew, the party was about to start for the criminals. Less cops, more calmness. I couldn’t help to hide my disgust when I saw women in bras and mini skirts jumping in cars. Some of them looked like a high schooler, I bet their parents were really proud.

Jungkook stopped in front of a shop and smiled at me.

“Let’s go in. This is our favourite shop,when we have to fight against headaches.” He chuckled and opened the door for me.

“Thank you.” I muttered.

We took a seat next to the window. I sat beside Jungkook and the other two in the other side. An elder woman, who had been in her late 40s approached our table to get our order. She seemed really happy to see us, was sure she disliked the three men. After she left I felt Jungkook’s intense gaze on me.

“So…Y/N. How have you been?” He asked me and I felt his voice contained a mix of different emotions.

“I’m fine, thank you. I’m a university student.” I replied and tried to sit comfortably on the wooden chair.

“What do you study?” Hoseok inquired.

“If everything goes as planned, I will be a nurse someday.” 

I didn’t look at him to knew, Jungkook grinned. That was his charm - his smiles.

He rarely did it, unless he knew and trusted the person.

“What about you guys? You still can’t avoid the chaos, huh?”

“Some things never change.” Hoseok laughed.

Hoseok was totally different from his younger brother. He was always the easy-going and cheerful one. Hoseok was the Sun, while Jungkook was the Moon.

The lady suddenly appeared and took down our cup on the table, without looking at us.

“She can’t stand you guys.” I stated after saw her going back to the kitchen.

“I can understand it. We knew her son.” Jimin sighed.

“Why is the past tense?” I asked.

“Because he died.”He replied in a sadly tone. 

I couldn’t say anything. I still couldn’t believe that those two cute dorks whom I saw every day until they moved to Seoul, became such bad guys. Jimin smiled at me softly and I gave him back mine, he eyed me from head to toe.

“Do you work somewhere?” Jungkook demanded, turning his head to me.

“Yes, in a restaurant after lectures…”

“Does it pay you enough?” 

“Enough for…” I tried to answer his question but interrupted me again.

“I have a better offer.”

My eyes widened.

“Y/N… probably we haven’t met for 5 years. But I know your family has financial issues. You can work for me.”

“For a gang member? Thanks not.”

“He’s the leader, Y/N.” Jimin informed me.

He’s the leader? You gotta be kidding me.

“Great joke. But my answer is still no.” I knew our world had been fucked up but I thought I should get money legally. My mom and my dad taught me that I wanted to follow their ideas and way of thinking in every aspect of my life. 

“Oh come on, you didn’t even hear me out what I was gonna say.” Jungkook as usual he started to lose his patience.

“I’m all ears.” 

“You could be our medical help.” He said and I couldn’t hide my surprise. “We often get into wars and conflicts. None of has nursing skills. I just ask you to take care of us, if something goes wrong.”

“Jungkook. What else do you want?” 

“Of course… you shouldn’t talk about things we do… otherwise…” 

Hoseok punched Jungkook in his arm and laughed.

“Don’t scare her if you want something, stupid.” 

I stared into those dark brown eyes I knew very well. He seemed serious, there wasn’t any sign of joking. I waited a minute but he was looking at me, waiting for my answer.

“How much do you pay?” I grinned.

“How much do you need?” He grinned back.

“You can’t be that rich.”

“Trust me, he earned unbeliveable amount of money lately. I don’t know why didn’t he ask to be your sugardaddy, instead.” Hoseok laughed and I blushed madly. The trio clearly enjoyed teasing me.

I started calculating on my phone and showed him the results.

“Hm… it’s okay.” He said.

I smiled at him.

“I hope it wouldn’t cause any problem, if I helped you…”

“No, trust me. I have a great cover up if something would turn the wrong way.”

“Jungkook. Look how much she pays to her land lady.” Hoseok said in disbelief.

The two of them exchanged a look, all I could see was mischief.

“Do you want us to be neighbours, again?” Jungkook asked.

“Nope.” 

“Great because… I offer you a room in our home.”

My jaw dropped. Seriously?

“Jeon Jungkook! We literally meet after years and you’re asking me to…”

“The less I pay you is the better.” 

“I still love to live in that apartment. I love my roomate and…”

“Geez woman, calm down. As I said it was an offer.” Jungkook sighed.

I rolled my eyes and drank my coffee instead. Jungkook liked my reactions, I could tell.

“Now, I’m gonna pay…”

“It’s our treat, Y/N.” Jimin prevented me to go to the cashier. “Now, let’s walk you home.”

On my way home, I felt strangely. Knowing the three of them had gun hidden in their suit. 

“Y/N… think about my job offer. I really want to help you. You’re family was so always kind to me, helped me and I want to give you something back. So, here’s my number and text me if you accept it.” Jungkook said. “It was nice to see you, I’m glad you are doing fine.

“I’m happy you still alive. It was nice to see you again. Take care. You too, Jimin and Hoseok.” 

They all flashed me a heartwarming smile and left me in front of the apartment’s door.

My roomate was nowhere to seen and after hours of thinking I sent an SMS to Jungkook. I accepted his offer.

Hear me out. I’ve been listening to K-pop for 10 years. I’m actually a HUGE EXO-L and have been following EXO since their debut and have always been supportive of them since they’re my bias group. I don’t dedicate this blog to k-pop, and don’t ever reblog or post anything k-pop related because I’m pretty lowkey about it and wanna avoid any drama and toxicity as much as I can. But after today I just felt like I need to get certain things off my chest, because I’m truly appalled with some of the things that have been said and I don’t think some of you may realize that it actually makes us look bad (and frankly idc if no one agrees and I’m sure as hell ain’t gonna be replying to any negative comment following this post.)

The boys were SO excited for this comeback guys. Sehun and Baekhyun teased us relentlessly, they had it all figured out and chose to be part of the hype while we waited for their comeback (and during too). They do everything to please us and some fans STILL try to find negative things to say. I think that’s disrespectful in itself. 

I understand that most EXO-L’s are upset about Lay not being in the “teaser” but it’s not over yet so just wait it out before spontaneously combusting into flames and act like your whole life is over. I get it, Lay is probably the purest member and he is so important and honestly I’ll be CRUSHED if he’s not in the MV but he may very well make an appearance, and if not, then I respect that, SM first and foremost is a BUSINESS, which means they’ll prioritize making any kind of profit or money any way they can over anything else. Lay loves his members, the band itself and us, the fans. You all know he wouldn’t just disappear. He wouldn’t just leave EXO. So I’m not worried about that. 

As for the hair situation, yeah, okay maybe Sehun, Kai and Baekhyun’s hair isn’t exactly aesthetic or pleasing to look at, but seriously it’s just hair. They’ll change it again and so what if they promote with it? As much as y’all keep arguing and arguing over it, it really is just hair. We should be there for them, for their music, not just their looks, and tbh I hope that those shallow ‘’fans’’ don’t actually call themselves fans because that’d be an outrage lol. I actually saw certain fans say that they weren’t even excited for the comeback anymore because of their hairstyles. Like...Really? It’s okay to have your own preferences and opinions, clearly everyone of us does, as long as you don’t purposely try to hurt, attack, or judge anyone who has theirs, too. Especially the members. 

Now before you all gang up on me, just know that Baekhyun is actually one of my biases (with Chanyeol being my UB in K-Pop) and obviously like I said up there, I have my own preferences when it comes to hair. Personally, I think he looks best with a natural hair color and with his sideburns not shaved and even when Chanyeol cut his hair super short during the Wolf Era I wasn’t completely comfortable with it at first, but kept it to MYSELF. Did I stop liking EXO because of their haircuts? Did I stop supporting them because they did something to stand out and I personally didn’t think it was appealing? (If you’ve been a fan since day 1, you know what I’m talking about, EXO has had their fair share of unusual/unique /and let’s be real cringy ass/ haircuts and hair colors. All of you should know by now that K-pop is all about standing out and about being unique.) Even Jongin had his dreadlocks/corn rows back during the Wolf Era and everyone just got used to it after a while and just accepted it. It’s okay to joke around about their hair, teasing them and laugh about it because let’s face it, we tease the ones we love. I laughed so hard this morning seeing some of y’all’s posts about Kai’s dreads and Baek’s mullet. But actually getting butt mad over it and starting drama and going on their Instagram posts and commenting mean things is not okay. Also about the whole cultural appropriation, it just makes me laugh that the people who SHOULD be “offended” by his hairstyle are not offended at all and the other half of you who are complaining don’t even know what you’re talking about anyway. People look way too far into this and blow things out of proportion. Be pissed if you want, but just keep it to yourself, and eventually just get over yourself and move on.

(And if you want to discuss cultural appropriation, then do it politely, calmly and respectfully. No need to be mean, insult, or attack anybody.) 

Remember the Baekhyun incident with an EXO-L or an anti insulting his hair while they were in Jeju Island? He was really hurt by that. Please don’t turn into her. Don’t turn into that kind of person. Please don’t do what she did with any of the members or anybody for that matter you love. We all have an opinion, and it’s okay, but don’t blame the idols, or make them feel bad about their choices, not everyone that makes a mistake or makes certain decisions that not everybody agrees with is a dick or purposely tries to make people mad. 

On that note, I can’t wait to see the other members’ teasers and the MV (Or MVS plural if there’s more than one.) I don’t know about all of you but I’m staying out of the drama and I’m going to listen to EXO’s discography while waiting for their comeback.

P.S: A friendly reminder that EXO probably reads all of our posts or you guys’ comments so just be careful with the things you say because words can be hurtful sometimes. And I’m not only talking about the boys exclusively, but I’ve seen some fans of other groups or even our own EXO-L family attack others and it shouldn’t be this way. The boys wouldn’t want it to be this way. Be grateful they made an Instagram, Facebook and Twitter to be able to include and interact with fans from all over the world, please don’t make them regret doing it. 

Be respectful and appreciative, spread love and positivity and let’s continue supporting our boys. They work really, really hard for us. ❤✨👽

Day 32 through 35 idk I'm really losing track of days

Times is stressful

Firstly I'm either gonna have to make sure I write every day or get a journal that I'll write in.

The last few days have been tough but I'm trying to keep myself centred. Works been stressy; I haven't felt like myself. It's like I'm lightheaded or always on the verge of passing out but in fairness I haven't been eating much. I'm down to 4 euro 50ish cent so I'm gonna sell a kidney or sum.

I viewed a house in KW today, I got on well with the guy and I really do hope I get it, I also got a call for one in T so that'll give me two opportunities to try and not fuck up🙃

I think frank knows somethings up. I'm really going to miss him when I leave. As much of a little shit he is, he's been my rock this last year and I'm quite anxious about him living alone with Ruth. I hope he doesn't forget me. I'm thinking of leaving Hugo for him but I'm afraid he'll tear him to shreds like everything else.

Two years ago GL told me there was a day hugo had to go, and he was right. Maybe itll be the catalyst to me feeling like I've moved on from what my life was, and onto what my life is / will be.

AR showed me a podcast called Futureproof, I really like it. It's hard for me to stay focused when listening to podcasts without a visual, hence why I like watching them on youtube, but I'm giving it a try.

I haven't been to the gym in a while and I'm guilty about that, I'll go tomorrow morning.

The Hatefull 8 has resparked my interest in movies, wanna watch more QT movies.

After the viewing today, I popped into work while waiting on a bus, just to be told that Tony big balls is coming down hard on our region for going over budget in hours, to which our store alone were accountable for 30% of that. AMG has no choice but to slash hours and I'll reluctantly accept the fact, while GP and JF are kicking up a storm. Gonna put a bad vibe in the work place and GP is potentially gonna jump stores for his last month in Ireland. On the flip side I might go back to A&B, SM is a manager now so I gotta sweet talk my way in🤣

Also got informed that if theres a no deal Brexit, we might be closed by Christmas so yuppa gotta love life rn🐙

@trickytrolls MAX.... we’ve been friends for ages now and we dont talk too much but I can always rely on him to talk to if I’m upset or to help me with cookie run or just to chat about ocs. I think I have more plots with Max than I do with anyone else just cause I don’t,, Have a lot of things with any one person.
