**2. First Quarter (Waxing Moon)**

asking a bunch of cool clangen blogs (yea you) a question cause I’m working on making one right now- How did you find the main plot based on what clangen generated and make it all mysterious and interesting and stuff?

i already had a mild idea for what i wanted (clan is destroyed -> living members of clan have to rebuild it) and then sort of just... continued building up around it. in the beginning i was just having fun. i think a lot of it originally stemmed from me wanting to make my panels more impactful when events occurred, rather than like, "reedpaw died" and then one panel of everyone being sad a lot of other clangen blogs do. when currentpaw died, i had the whole thing about him going out to get herbs for fog and then going missing for two weeks i think it was. i didn't plan that, and it didn't happen in the game, i just knew i wanted it to be really sad. i also enjoy drawing gore, which helped make his body very gruesome. the lore in the beginning with ebonytongue and flaremeadow's revolution against risingclan i also literally just made up. frostpaw being depressed after currentpaw's death? made it up. the game probably mentioned it cause it does have a thing where cats recover from grief though. i don't exactly remember when i had the idea for twistedeyes (she isn't even in the game) but she was a catalyst for a lot of what happened afterward. fog's emotional outbursts (teasing them beforehand, then have them be the reason for frostflash's death), stork's murder. wolfpaw being related to twistedeyes gave me a relationship factor to tie in with his relationship with fogscreech. wolfmoon seeing visions of waxingmoon and hazelskip and then them meeting the clans, revealing a group of cats had split off from risingclan. ...not to tease a little bit ( sticks my toingue out) , but stormdaze had REASON. to attack twistedeyes in moon 54 and then join fallenclan, but in game he was just a cat who joined the clan on a whim. i can't say too much, but there are things which appear in the moons i've drawn already which become deeply important later on. none of this i had planned! fallenclan started as a project for fun. now it's something i've planned out intensively and have much of it tie into itself. truthfully, how i did was just... making stuff up that i thought was interesting in the beginning. then, i added lore to characters, and motive for their actions. i should also mention-- you don't need to follow what the game tells you. in my latter, undrawn moons, i have two cats, die-- one of which is important, however in the story i just completely scrapped that and did something else with them. tied their disappearances from the game into the story, giving reason for them not appearing anymore other than (shrug) they died. tldr: a lot of it is just making stuff up in the beginning because it's interesting, and then tying it into the story later on.

There are Three Moon Phases associated with Waxing Moon: Waxing Crescent, First Quarter, and Waxing Gibbous. Each of them is great for the magic that is related to bringing something into your life. As the moon slowly gains intensity it marks a great time to focus on redefining your goals and taking the first action. It’s better to start small, with tiny steps, and work your way to fruition. The same way that Lady Luna grows each day, you will accomplish your goals by consistent action.

Use your daily affirmations; positive thinking and positive action. Magic for growth, motivation, courage, attraction, power, healing, planning and declaring your intentions are great during this phase.

Beauty Spell

This spell is to be done during the waxing moon.

1. Carve your name and intent into the candle. 

2. Grab a pink candle for beauty (or purple for healing). Dress your candle with olive oil (or another form of anointing oil), sugar, and rose petals. 

3. Cut a piece of paper with your hands toward you. 

4. Using a red pen or sharpie, write your affirmations of anything you wish to have in present tense as if they are currently your reality. 

5. For 7 days-- every day light the candle and read the affirmations out loud while looking at yourself in the mirror. You have to believe you are these things for the spell to work. 

6. On the 7th day put sugar, rose petals, and some strands of your hair on the paper. Fold it toward you to attract the beauty and healing. 

7. Burn the paper to activate the spell while chanting “as beautiful as a rose, as sweet as caramel, I attract beauty with this spell.” 

8. Bury the ashes in your garden or spread them to the wind to carry the spell. 

9. Let the candle burn down.
