My personal experience with ADD/autism/hrt: Anxiety/depression/OCD overlap heavily with ADD/autism. "brain" medications meant for neurotypicals do not work if you have ADD because you need stimulants (try different molecules if you dont like how it feels) I'm on 80mg/week subQ testosterone which improved most of my menstrual issues (I have endometriosis) but they did not disappear until I had a hysterectomy at 10 months on T. I can't speak for the other issues you're dealing with, but your body and emotions are far more interconnected than most people assume, and gender affirming care can be both life changing and life saving. I hesitate to say you have the exact same flavor of ADD+autism as I do because theres a lot of stigma around diagnosis, but understanding my autism specifically has been integral to my ability to survive and heal. I especially encourage you to look into how autism and OCD overlap. Also, I have been following you for years now. I have a deeply genuine and intense admiration for your autistic swag. Your passion and skills are breathtaking. You are one of my favorite artists. The horrors are endless but. we stay silly.

Oh I'm on anxiety, OCD, and ADHD medication all together because for ADHD I use atomoxetine which isn't a stimulant, so I can still take the other medications and they have the intended effect.

But also I know that ADHD symptoms and medication can have a lot of varying effects from person to person, so stimulants may be all that works for some and in that case yeah, the stimulants can screw with other meds unfortunately.

And regarding how much gender affirming care can effect you psychologically: oh man, yeah, that's the wild card and also the most wholly exciting concept for me. The thought maybe some of my constant miasma of anxiety could just go away...life could be dream...

And thanks! But I'm pretty sure I'm not autistic? I've looked into it several times and I just truly don't think I have enough of the symptoms? But you are now the second person to assume I'm autistic... 🤨

There is at least one person in my family who Im preeeetty sure is autistic, POSSIBLY two, so maybe I come off that way just because that perspective is different from mine but still super normal to me & I try to take it into account when I communicate?????? shrug!!!

OKAYY !!! i'm gonna go on a little rant about sam and rudy because i absolutely adore them WAUGHH !!

SO !!

sam and rudy were friends LONG before they met laurie. they've been besties since elementary, so they're practically inseparable. they know each other inside and out, they tell each other their secrets, knowing they'll keep it under wraps, STUFF LIKE THAT !!!

rudy was the first person sam turned to when she figured out she was trans. rudy was super supportive and awesome and promised to keep it a secret. sam wasn't really able to express herself fully until she left her parents' house in idaho to go to college, but rudy made sure she was happy with herself every time he could.

then they meet laurie at the beginning of their freshman year of high-school, when laurie is in the cafeteria DESPERATELY looking around for somewhere to sit and rudy spots her and waves and beckons her to sit with them so that's where their friendship starts !! THEN THEY BECOME MEGA BEST FRIENDS: TRIO VERSION !!!

sam REALLY loves professor what (my gravity falls version of doctor who) and every saturday sam would watch the new episodes with rudy and laurie !! and then every time there'd be a new really important plot point, she'd sit rudy and laurie down and talk about what they know so far, trying to piece everything together

then sam basically DRAGGED laurie and rudy to her house to watch the apollo moon landing because she LOVES space and astrophysics and whatever so she was like: "PLEASEPLEASEPLEASE WE NEED TO WATCH THIS !!" and rudy and laurie were all supper happy for sam bcs it made HER happy and BWUAGGHHH I LOVE THEM YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND !!

and for rudy, he'd buy comics every week or like, whenever a new issue came out, and he would get SO worked up if it ended on a cliffhanger. DUDE COULD NOT WAIT !!! also sometimes he'd read the pages out to sam and laurie and he'd do all different voices and onomatopoeia and whatever. he's just a silly guy !!!

bwaughhh anyways that's all i can think of atm !!! they're such goobers i actually can't handle them

What is your favorite pokemon game?

my first one was RED when I was a little 8 year old rascal, so that one will always have a special place in my heart, AND THEN THERE WERE the two pokemon stadium games for the N64, which I played seemingly never-endingly back then! but I think the game I truly enjoyed most was Y back in 2013??? I simply remember that whole time so intensely, from the first release of the gen 6 mons and the whole cozy autumn of playing it. the story, the new feeding and petting features, the epic and precious designs (I LOVE yveltal, skiddo and talonflame SO MUCH) and the time I spent doodling silly fanarts. (here's an old one) JUST. WAUGHH. simply thinking about the game and that time makes my heart feel cozy and warm and I just love that for it!!!

i thiiink i wanna base it mostly off the first movie, cos to Me that film is the bible, but i haven’t decided yet how to get everyone on isla nublar. maybe they’re just a focus group, maybe they’re connected to it another way, i can’t really make up my mind! the focus group idea is closer to canon, but also questionable scientist benito is a little silly to me so idk!! in any case though, once they Are there, i think mikael is absolutely the reason the systems fail. he doesn’t agree with the work his mom and ingen are doing, so he goes behind her back and sabotages all of it, freeing the animals and Fucking Everyone Over So Hard.

but see, the real truth is, if i am so honest, plot is so so secondary to me with this au. my main priority is just benito being forced to take care of emi in another insane high-stakes survival situation. maybe getting to re-do the tree scene with them. or the other tree scene. or the electric fence scene. and definitely, definitely the final helicopter scene
