Last song: The Byrds, Chimes of Freedom! I bought a Byrds greatest hits album today and I love loved it so much I played it once and then flipped it right over and listened to the A side again and then said this is silly go to bed and turn off the music so that's where side A ends. Although I'm most passionate about Mr. Tambourine man <3

Currently Reading: CSNY by Peter Dogget!!! Learning about the boys ahhh!!

Current Obsession: Pretty much the same as the last but you probably could tell. CSNY... especially Neil... I was already very wrapped up in them and then the concerts I went to put me over the edge. I just love them very deeply and find them so so so compelling. Their music and their lives are just so rich with complexity and its maaaagically magnetic.. plus they are my beautiful girlfriends....

2. Album of the year?

All three full albums I listened to last year were unfortunately stabs in the heart </3

4. Movie of the year?

I watched many good movies in 2023... The best for me was probably The Whale or Close. Close is a movie about two children whose story wildly reminds of YouTubers Rhett and Link and it was recommended to me by an Anon. Anon, if you see this, thanks! Your rec made it to my top of the year!

10. Something that made you cry this year?

More like tear up, after an argument with a dear family member. They basically just said something they didn't really mean just to get out of an inconvenient conversation and it was so unfair and untrue that my feelings for them have been shaken a little since. Like, the fact that they didn't mean it made it all worse for me, because I was appalled at the ease with which they said something untrue and hurtful just to make me shut up.

14. Favorite book you read this year?

Unfortunately I did not read as much as I wanted. I enjoyed "24 Hours in Ancient Rome".
