Reason why I watch it: i could and have written essays on this show and all the reasons i love it, but really what it comes down to is i love shows that deal with fighting the system and making a change and i love a good redemption arc. i also love stories that don't villainize closeted characters for the choices they make while also acknowledging that those choices can be wrong.

Why I started watching it: would you believe it if i wasn't originally gonna watch it??? i was still in the beginning fazes of watching bl and didn't picture myself diving headfirst into it, but then i saw antania posting about it and also learned about p'golf and what she'd been through and decided i had to check it out and i could not be more glad that i did

THE ECLIPSE NOVEL SPOILER!!!

Dude, I don't know how you keep doing it but WatNamo is canon.

EXCUSE ME?!

How do you just drop this anonymously without any supporting evidence (aka snippets from the novel, screenshots, SOMETHING)?! You can't leave me hanging like this! I NEED SOMETHING!

I don't read the novels for these shows because I have learned the screenwriters of these shows are doing the Lord's work pulling anything resembling a plot from most of these novels (*cough* Big Dragon's novel *cough*), so when I read things about the novel the show is based on after I write a 4,000 word post about why Ken is the mole in KinnPorsche when his character didn't even exist in the novel or Mangkorn was resisting Cherry's advances because he considers Yai his someone in Big Dragon, I'm always proud of the show. Clearly, the show is written and depicted well if the audience is picking up the breadcrumbs being left.

However, WatNamo is GramBlack (Not Me) all over again! Apparently GramBlack were together in the novel, but in the show, they weren't. That means that some crumbs were placed in the show from the novel without the fulfilled outcome. GramBlack had that tension that the novel demonstrated but the show's plot changed, so their characters' tension was still present without an actual relationship being the reason for it. I saw that with WatNamo:

Everyone is gay until proven otherwise

They were constantly talking before class

It seemed like Namo was always staring at Wat from the back of the class

They teased each other the entire beach trip

They were partnered in Judo class

Namo sat next to Wat during the notebook discussion

Namo is either seen by Thua or Wat rarely any of the other boys, and we knew Thua and Kan were a pair

Namo knew about Wat's love of film even though he barely even spoke to Akk and Kan about it

When Wat wanted to take pictures, everyone else complained but Namo. He just smiled and posed.

Kan and Akk seemed like great friends with Wat as the outlier.

Wat was open to the idea of his friends being in love with guys, so it seemed this openness came from experience

Wat became head prefect and Namo became a prefect, so come on, that is perfect POWER COUPLE ENGERY!

it's been a day and now I can't stop thinking that we didn't get WatNamo in OurSkyy2 as a pairing but absolutely did as friends and I will be hyperventilating if the fandom writes more about them!

OurSkyy2 THE ECLIPSE GANG is back to filming!! I’m so happy to see all the updates from the filming crew. I know we were promised to be given Akk and Ayan sweet time together because they suffered too much (but I’d honestly love to see them address heavy topics and consequences from Suppalo) and I also wish for all the other gang to appear (will we get WatNamo hints here? or no?
