2. The Chamber for sleeping together

The bed is the center of a couple’s life together: the place where they lie together, talk, make love, sleep, sleep late. But beds are not often made in ways which intensify their meaning, and these experiences cannot take hold.

This chamber however is infused with intense personal experiences. Imagine how you are enclosed by it after you come home after your first urban experiences of the day. You are not cold; but there is that hot steam, which is terrible, and which ruins your eyes. The watervapour would frighten the guests but that is fine because this chamber is not for them.

Your soft bodies accent the hard stone as [your] hands are squeezing blood out of the rock. [] Chest and stomach, legs and genitals, stay parallel to the wall, [] back and muscles are engaging themselves [] in a relation of apparent struggle and real seduction, so that the stone, to the touch, loses its hardness so as to gain an astonishing softness.

It is little past midnight, I see the lights, at the castle, the old glassworks, the churches and the synagogues. They remind me of the Middle Ages, renaissance, communism and I don´t like it. All those glorious failed success stories. Success. Mistake, nobody seems to care about. Just as the sun is rising, I have decided to leave. Turning around, the first rays of sunshine blind two of my eyes, looking into the future. The other two now clearly discern other stranger´s eyes and the future those eyes saw during the night, still resonating, becomes the past. Confusedly, I close all my four eyes. 

Open my two ears.
