YAY for Wednesday! Can you spot the on looker? 👀👀haha! I honestly am obsessed with Bungonia, however I have been telling you this beautiful spot was on the Red Track HOWEVER it seems we made up on our track and this was half of the White Track and half of the Red Track! Macquarie Pass Cascades Posted by waterfallwandering on May 8, 2017

Monday the 8th May 2017!

Today two friends and I walked the Macquarie Pass Cascade track! The walk starts at the bottom of Macquarie Pass on the right hand side, coming from Wollongong/Albion Park.  You will see a very obvious car park on the right hand side of the road (park here). The track starts at the back right hand corner of the grass, walk across the field until you get to a National Park sign, reading ‘Macquarie Pass Cascades’. I found the track safe and believe it would be suitable for families with children, however, I recommend stoping at the first falls if you have children with you. To get to the falls, follow the well marked track until you reach the first beautiful waterfall, pictured below.

If you wish to continue onto the non-marked track, on the right hand side of the falls you will see big rope like stairs. These stairs will take you further up, to the next set of falls. Once you reach the top of the stairs you will stumble across the beauty pictured below.

If you wish to burn your legs a little more, follow the very faint path up further. If you keep walking up to the very top you will come across the following falls.

The track is pretty simple and the higher you walk, the more you discover! I hope this article helps and that you have found yourself a weekend activity!
