Hey love I absolutely love your fics 🥰 I was wondering if you could write a dark toxic romance for Lando or Charles or even Logan where she’s the girl next door??? I love you keep it up ❤️
Crazy For You || LN4
Warnings: 18+ only, nsfw, implied smut, gaslighting, dub/con, dark themes WC: 4k Part one || part two || part three || part four
It had been two months since you moved into your apartment in Monaco and you still hadn’t managed to introduce yourself to your neighbour. He kept strange hours and seemed to be away more than he was there. From what you had glimpsed, you had been delighted to see he was probably around your age and quite handsome in an innocent way. Mr Riley on the other hand was a stoic old man who only spoke to you when your cat climbed over the balcony and into his space.
Known for its year-round beauty and calm climate, Monaco had welcomed you with a comfortable breeze and enough sun to warrant leaving the house without a jacket, even at dusk on a winter's night. If you had checked the weather reports you would have seen that a storm was quickly blowing in from the coast - arriving by the time you had finished having a few cocktails with your new friends.
Christmas lights twinkled around the shop fronts as you exited the bar and nutcrackers stood proud in doorways. You always loved Christmas and seeing the smiles it put on children’s faces but there were no children out this late.
“Are you sure you don’t want a ride?” Luke asked as he twirled his keys around his finger. “It’s about to start raining.”
“She’s good,” someone answered for you and you looked over to see your elusive neighbour at your side, his hand coming to rest in the small of your back. “I can take her home.”
“You didn’t tell us Lando was picking you up.”
Your mouth was dry and you didn’t know what to say as the liquor, or his presence, left you confused. Lando, you stored that piece of information away and tried to figure out why it sounded so familiar.
“I was just out doing some Christmas shopping and about to head home,” he said with a smile. “Ready?”
“Uh, yeah,” you mumbled as you let him guide you away from your friends.
“Are you sure?” Luke asked with a frown. “You don’t look comfortable. Do you even know him?”
“Kind of, I’m just surprised,” you assured him. “Lando is my neighbour.”
“Okay, well, text me when you get home.”
You gave Luke a nod and waved to the others before going your separate ways.
“Are you cold?” Lando asked, already slipping his arms out of the jacket he wore over a dark hoodie.
The alcohol had made you numb to the temperature but you let him drape it over your shoulders anyway, wrapping you in the decadent scent that came along with it.
“Thanks.”
“Any time, it’s what neighbours do.”
“I don’t think Mr Riley would,” you teased.
“The grumpy old guy in 4C? We just call him Carl, like the movie Up.”
You smiled awkwardly and toyed with the zip on the jacked. “I’ve never seen it.”
“What?” He pulled you to a stop and grabbed your shoulders with a serious look on his face. “This just won’t do. I cannot be seen with someone who hasn’t watched Up!”
“Oh,” you mumbled as you started to take off his jacket and hand it back.
“What are you doing, you muppet?” He grabbed the jacket and put it back on your shoulders before opening the door to a very expensive looking car.
“I thought you meant…”
“It’s fine, I have tinted windows,” he teased. “As soon as we get home though, we’re watching the movie.”
Lando followed you inside without an invitation but you could hardly turn him away with his boyish smile and mop of curly hair that sprung out of his hoodie when he pushed it back. “This makes sense,” he chuckled as he stuck his head in the bedroom, pointing to the wall that your bed was pushed against. “Our apartments are mirrored. I thought I woke up to a voice a few times. Do you watch Friends?”
Your head tilted at the odd question. “Why do you ask?”
“You sing ‘smelly cat’ a lot.”
Mortification hit you and you felt your face burn as you turned to the culprit walking through your house with a loud purr. “That’s Eddie. Do you have any pets?”
“No, I’m always travelling for work and I’m not very good at looking after myself let alone another living thing. Do you actually know how to use those things?”
You looked at the kitchen where he was pointing to the appliances. You had planned to make some Christmas cookies over the weekend and had the stand mixer ready on the benchtop. You thought he was joking but he was genuinely intrigued by the inquisitive look of wonder on his face. “Cooking relaxes me,” you said with a shrug. “You probably have plans already but if you want to come over and-”
“Absolutely, say no more, I’m in.” He crossed the living room and dropped into the middle cushion of the three seater sofa and patted the space beside him with one hand, the other reaching for the remote. “You do have Disney+, right?”
“You really do like to make yourself comfortable, don’t you,” you joked as you took a seat beside him.
“I’ve been told I can be a bit much,” he said with a small frown, placing the remote down. “Should I go?”
“No, no, I appreciate the company,” you said as you caught his arm to stop him from going. “Being alone in a new country is a little isolating, it’s nice having someone here.”
He settled back into the seat and sent you a grin as he searched for the movie. “Anytime you need someone to talk to, you can just knock three times.”
The weeks before Christmas were a madhouse. Work kept you busy as well as the many requests to go home for the holidays, but it just wasn’t going to be feasible to take leave so soon after starting. You knew your parents were going to be disappointed but you promised them you weren’t going to be alone for Christmas.
You had eventually found out why Lando’s name was so familiar when Luke explained who he was and why he was away so often. But since the race season was over he had plenty of time to spend at home, yours and his.
Just like every other evening, you knocked three times on the living room wall knowing Lando would be able to hear it despite the special Christmas Eve stream he was on. It was the last one of the year and he wished everyone a Merry Christmas before the live feed of him playing Counter Strike came to an end.
“Ouch, Eddie, fuck,” Lando swore a few minutes later as he knocked at your door. “Stop it.”
You opened the door to the frequent occurrence and took the hissing Eddie from his outstretched arms before he could get clawed again. Your ginger cat seemed to hate Lando for some reason, or maybe it was because he was always bringing the escapee back home to you.
“I think you should just move in with me,” Lando joked as he followed the mouthwatering scent into your kitchen. He came to your house for dinner most nights after finding Eddie on his balcony and usually stayed for a movie. That routine had changed slightly when the movie he chose one night was Friends With Benefits. There had been a moment after a sex scene when you both looked across at each other and the idea had passed between your eyes.
He cleared his throat and you realised you had been staring at him for too long. “Eddie likes my place better.”
It clicked, he wasn’t actually asking you to move in with him. But for a moment you had considered it.
“Right, Eddie,” you laughed at your idiocracy. “I really don’t know how he keeps getting out. I must be going crazy because I’m sure I locked the window this morning.”
You both looked at the window that opened onto the balcony, the skies dark with another storm. “Maybe your cat is a genius and learned how to open it?”
You rolled your eyes but managed a laugh at his attempt to make you feel better while you readied two plates and took them to the table where he sat. “Maybe I should change his name to Houdini.”
“Better than Ed the Ginger.” Lando grinned as he pulled you onto his lap and scooped up a dollop of creamy mash potato with his forefinger, holding it up to your mouth. You sealed your lips around his finger and swirled your tongue around the tip, watching the blue of his eyes be swallowed by his pupils. “Naughty girl, you’ll be getting coal this year.”
Your head fell back with a laugh.“Who are you? Santa Claus?”
“Well, you are sitting on my lap, aren’t you?” He winked and his tongue rolled across his bottom lip. “Wanna see my North Pole?”
“Oh my god, eat your dinner,” you giggled. “We still have to watch A Christmas Carol and Nightmare Before Christmas!”
You had both written a list of all the Christmas movies you wanted to watch and they were the last two left. It was just in time as midnight was going to come all too soon and you wanted to be tucked up warm in bed when the storm hit.
A loud crash had you jolting awake and you blindly reached across the bed in search of Lando to find it empty. Panic gripped you as you wondered if you were being broken into and a scream almost erupted when your light flipped on and Lando rushed in soaking wet.
“Holy shit, you’ll never believe what just happened!”
You stumbled into the living room where Lando threw an arm out to save you from stepping on the glass that covered the floor. The doors that opened out onto your balcony had been completely shattered during the storm and you shivered as the cold wind and rain blew straight into your home. A huge puddle was quickly spreading across the carpet and it was making its way to the Christmas tree in the far corner while you were still in shock.
“The presents!”
Lando twisted away from the pot plant that had been on your balcony wall, now it lay on the floor with the dirt turning to mud. Seeing the urge you had to cut across the glass, he shook his head and pointed to the kitchen where you would remain safe. “I’ll get them.”
Lando carefully navigated his way to the tree, turning off the power to the glittering lights, and bundled the gifts up before hopping his way back with a wince. The wrapping paper on some of the presents were splattered with rain drops but most seemed in perfect condition when he placed them on the kitchen bench.
“You’re bleeding,” you gasped as he balanced on one foot and you wrapped an arm around his waist to help him. “There’s a first aid kit in my bathroom. Can you make it there?”
He nodded and limped with your help away from the mess. “I think you should come and stay at my place until the doors can be fixed.”
“Are you sure?” you asked as you carefully used a pair of tweezers to pull out the small sliver of glass in his foot. “I can just get a hotel.”
“Ouch,” he groaned as it came free and blood welled at the site. “Not on Christmas Day, everywhere will be fully booked. I really don’t mind. It would save you from having to pack a bag.”
“If you’re sure…”
He smiled at the silly Spider-Man bandaid you placed over the wound before running the back of his knuckles across your cheekbone. “I am.”
You shivered at his cold touch and remembered how wet he was when you woke up. “What were you doing up anyway?”
He bit his lip and looked away sheepishly. “I was putting a present under the tree when a flower pot blew through the door.”
“Oh, wow, that wind must be insane. I hope all the boats are safe out there,” you mused, knowing some people lived on the mariner. “Wait, you got me another present? Lando, there’s already too many.”
“I wanted to spoil you,” he said with an unapologetic shrug. “You have single handedly kept me fed for weeks. You may have put a few restaurants out of business too.”
“You weren’t that bad were you?”
“You have no idea,” he chuckled. After testing his foot he took your hand and led you back to the presents to find a thin box that hadn’t been under the tree when you went to bed. “It’s after midnight, you know, you could open it.”
You took the box, surprised by the weight it had, and untied the pretty bow on top. The delicate silver writing drew a gasp and you looked at Lando with wide eyes. “Tiffany? I can’t open this, it’s too much.”
“Go on,” he urged as he placed your hand on top of the lid and gave it a squeeze. “Please, for me.”
Your fingers slipped twice as you tried to open the hinge and Lando’s hand enveloped yours, lifting it open to reveal the beautiful necklace within. The teardrop gemstone was the same shade as his eyes and it hung from a white gold chain that was polished to shine impossibly bright, even in the dim light.
“Lando, it’s beautiful,” you whispered in awe as he lifted it up and stepped behind you to drape it around your neck. The weight of the stone settled in the centre of your chest and you turned to face him with a sincere, “Thank you.”
“So..?” He bit his lip as he showed you the empty box, a question written in the silk lining. “Will you be my girlfriend?”
It wasn’t until the week after New Years that a glazier would be able to fix your doors. The holidays had left a backlog of people needing repairs but supply chains had been delayed too. Once the doors were finally fixed you realised the carpet was beyond repair and that took another week to have done.
It was strange to go back home after nearly three weeks of living in Lando’s apartment. It was too quiet.
“Babe, have you seen my hairbrush?” You had looked through the bathroom drawers he had cleared out for you to use but there was nothing left. You went back to your apartment and did another search but it wasn’t there either. It wasn’t the first thing you had lost going back and forth and you were beginning to worry.
“I’m sure it will turn up somewhere, love,” Lando said as he paused his game and turned to his friend in the simulator behind him. “Max probably used it.”
“Did not,” his friend replied with an indignant splutter. “Didn’t I see you singing into a hairbrush?”
“You’ve been experimenting with drugs again,” Lando snorted. With a resigned sigh, you decided your hair was decent enough to get away with at work and Lando tipped his head back so you could give him a kiss goodbye. “I’ll order dinner tonight. Chinese?”
“Sounds good,” you said as you gave Max a wave on the way to the door. “Try not to let him sit there all day, you know how his back gets.”
“Yes, yes, Lando has an old man’s back. I’ll make sure he moves his ass at some point,” Max joked. “Have fun at work.”
You screwed up your face at the sarcasm and their laughs followed you out of the apartment. You weren’t sure they had actually moved all day as they were still in the same spots when you got home. You had crossed paths with the delivery man in the lobby and your arms were laden with the takeaway Lando had ordered.
“How many spring rolls did you order?” you murmured as you kept unpacking more and more of the small styrofoam boxes with the treat.
“He’s going for a record,” Max said with a roll of his eyes. Ten minutes later Lando groaned, holding his stomach tightly. “I told you to stop.”
You had quickly showered and changed into some comfortable clothes and found most of the boxes empty when you joined them at the table. “How many has he had?”
“18, and he’s got no chance,” Max bet, reaching over to steal a spring roll for himself and swiping it through the sweet chilli sauce. “You’ll thank me later. Ah, fuck.” Max looked down at the red blotch on his white Quadrant shirt before sauntering off down the hall. “Mate, do you have any more stain remover? This one’s empty.”
“Yeah, under the sink there should be another bottle,” Lando yelled back, dropping his fork onto his plate in defeat. “I think I’m gonna be sick.”
“Why the hell do you have cat food?” Max appeared in the living room with the same brand of pet food you bought for your cat.
“That’s not mine, obviously.”
You looked at Lando, who was rubbing his full stomach and as reclined back as much as the chair would allow. “It’s not mine.”
“You brought it over during the storm, remember?”
“No I didn’t.” You hadn’t wanted to disrupt Eddie’s routine and fed him at home each morning before work.
“Yes, you did.” He laughed as he tapped your temple gently. “You have a terrible memory, love. You can’t even remember where you left your hairbrush.”
You didn’t have an argument for that, since you still hadn’t found it. You were sure you hadn’t brought any cat food over, but maybe he was right. You did seem to be a little confused lately.
“I think I need an early night,” you admitted as you cleaned up the dishes. “I’ll see you tomorrow.”
“You’re not staying?” Lando asked with a pout as he joined you at the sink, wrapping his arms around your waist and peppered your neck with soft kisses. “Who am I going to cuddle with?”
“I’m sure Max wouldn’t mind a snuggle,” you teased him as you turned in his arms. “I have an early start tomorrow but I can stay tomorrow night.”
He groaned at the thought of sleeping alone and held you tighter so he could have you in his arms a little longer. “Fine,” he huffed, relinquishing his hold on you and filling the kettle. “I’ll make you a chamomile tea so you sleep better.”
You smiled at his sweetness and savoured a few more minutes of kisses before the water boiled and he scooped out a few spoons of some boutique tea leaf mix he swore was the best sleep tea money could buy. Given how rich he was, you believed him.
Placing the hot mug in your hand, he bit his swollen lip and nodded to the front door. “Go before I tie you to my bed and never let you leave.”
“You wouldn’t,” you laughed, rolling your eyes as he winked. “Goodnight, baby.”
“Goodnight, love, sweet dreams.”
Something disturbed your sleep and you rubbed your eyes as you woke up well before your alarm. You reached for the lamp beside your bed and accidently knocked into the cup of tea you hadn’t finished before falling asleep, the cold liquid sloshing over the side before you caught it and froze.
Your bedroom door creaked open but it was too dark to see who it was. Your heart hammered in your chest as you tried to think of what to do before the shadow reached the edge of your bed. Your throat was so clogged with fear you couldn’t even scream, your hands trembled and closed them into fists before banging on the wall behind you, begging Lando would wake up at the sound.
Bang, bang, bang.
The figure lunged onto the bed, pinning you down with their weight and slamming your fists into the mattress. “Shh, love, it’s me.”
You relaxed as Lando’s voice soothed you, but the fear soon crept back up your spine with an icy shiver. “How did you get in here?”
“You forgot to lock your door,” he whispered as your wrists began to ache from the hold he had. “I was coming to check in on you.”
“No, I didn’t,” you said as you tried to shake him off. “I know I locked it. I know…I…I’m not crazy. Get off me, get off me right now.”
“You were meant to be asleep, love,” he groaned as his hands tightened to the point a pained cry escaped your gritted teeth.
“Why are you doing this?” you whimpered as he kissed your neck, but you couldn’t feel anything but repulsion.
“You should have just moved in with me, we are meant to be together.”
“You’re crazy,” you spat as you tried to buck your hips and throw him off but he was too strong. “Help! Somebody, help!”
His hand clamped over your mouth and you bit him as hard as you could before kicking and climbing away.
“I’m not the crazy one, that’s you, love,” he laughed. “You’re my girlfriend, you’re sick, but I’m going to take care of you, okay?”
“You are fucking insane!”
“No, no, sweetheart, I’m trying to help you, remember?”
You froze in the doorway as you saw a cutout of your key on the kitchen bench, along with your hairbrush, phone, a negligee and dressing gown. All things you had been convinced you had lost in the last few weeks.
“Why are you doing this?” you repeated as you backed away from your boyfriend. He was someone you had trusted, someone you thought had fit perfectly into your new life - but he had been messing with you this whole time. Max and the cat food came to mind. “Eddie…he used to go to Mr Riley’s house.”
“Couldn’t have that,” Lando tutted with a shake of his head as he took a step closer, “not when he was going to help me get close to you.”
“Don’t! Don’t come any closer to me!”
“Baby, don’t be like that, let’s just go back to bed. You’re under a lot of stress, let me make you a chamomile tea.”
You swiped your phone up as you bolted but he was quicker and blocked the front door, holding his hand out. “Give that to me, you don’t want to do that.”
“Oh, I’m pretty sure I do,” you hissed as you started to dial the emergency number.
“It’s you they will take away,” he said with a blase shrug that made you pause. “Everyone knows how unstable you have become.”
“Me?” you shrieked.
“You’re barely holding it together now. They aren’t going to believe anything you say.” He opened his arms as if to say, I’m famous and you are no one. Unfortunately, he was right. “Come on, love, let’s go back to bed.”
He took the phone from your limp hand and locked it before slipping it into his pocket. You were so confused that you had no idea what to do when he guided you back to the bed, turning the sheets down before tucking you in gently. “I love you,” he whispered as he kissed your forehead and handed you the cold mug. “Drink up, baby, this is all just a bad dream.”

Hey, since I’ve seen more people on my dash talking about The Muppets in general lately, here’s some links to older muppet media I’ve had trouble looking for in the past and even though they don’t seem as hard to find now, a lot of people might not have heard about them if they aren’t into muppets, so if you’re interested or want to watch something different or just kill some time here ya go
(All or most of these are uploaded by the same user and while their account has tons of muppet media it’s a little scattered so I wanted to put these specific ones together for ease)
Here’s Hey Cinderella!, a muppet production of Cinderella. I love the stepsisters and this has one of the few muppet monsters that have ever made me feel uneasy
Here’s the Muppets Musicians of Bremen, which features no human actors,
Here’s The Frog Prince, featuring the first appearances of dear Robin and Sweetums
Here’s The Great Santa Claus Switch, this upload has multiple sections of video because it contains everything featured in the dvd, the third one is the start of the movie itself
Here’s the lovely, heartwarming Emmet Otters Jugband Christmas
And here’s the two original pilots, The Muppets Valentines Show plays first and is then followed by The Muppets: Sex and Violence. They stick a little bit they’ll play through just fine.
I hope people enjoy and if there’s any interest I’d be more than happy to make another group post with links to other older muppet specials, just let me know!!! I watched all these and others while I was pretty sick last week
#Muppets#The Muppets#Old Media#Videos#a lot of these are on YouTube but I wanted to link these archive ones#they have no ads and they aren’t in sections aside from some dvd uploads#but those are uploaded in sections according to the dvd not like every seven minutes#I might delete this post I’m worried it might be risky???

Top 5 movie comedies?
Almost all of my comedy-watching is TV, so I don't have great answers for this. (Especially because I'm suddenly blanking on what I'd consider comedy instead of a romantic comedy or a movie-with-jokes). But here are some that come to mind, in no particular order.
The Princess Diaries. Kind of a rom-com, but more of a coming-of-age comedy, and one of my most-watched films.
The Princess Bride: Immensely quotable, very funny.
The Muppets: Any and all Muppet movies fit into this category (Great Muppet Caper is the best, except for the weird synchronized swimming bit), but The Muppets has the Jack Black joke, which has been on my dash a lot lately and might be my favorite Muppet joke.
Monster's Inc. Great buddy comedy, cornerstone of my childhood.
Shrek: Maybe more overtly funny than the above, but not as central a memory.

What did you think of Bugsy Malone? I've never seen it and have been on the fence about watching it... that is, until I learned Paul Williams wrote the music
It was an interesting movie!
I came across it on TCM the other night and decided to just stick with it (like in the old days, lol). And it was definitely a fun watch!
Every actor in the movie is a child, but they are all playing adult characters to varying degrees of success. Some of the kids you could tell have probably not acted a lot (or at least didn't understand the adult humor that they were parodying) and some were fantastic. Jodie Foster was great, of course...and I was really impressed by Martin Lev, who played Dandy Dan, the film's main antagonist. Both of them really brought the subtlety when so many of their costars are hamming it up. And Jodie Foster always had that wise beyond her years feel as a kid, which works for playing the gangster's moll.
I think the main thing to remember is that this movie is a parody...this isn't a straight drama, where the main characters just happen to be kids. I mean, the guns shoot whipped cream.
And to top it all off, it's a musical!
With music written by a pre-Muppets Paul Williams!
And all the kids are dubbed by adult singers (with Paul Williams dubbing Scott Baio).
I can see why some people don't like it, but I can also see why some people absolutely love it. I think if you go in knowing it's going to be kinda bonkers, it makes it an enjoyable ride.
Also, I was really impressed by the late 1920's costumes and hair! I don't think I saw a single girl wearing fringe!
#bugsy malone#i'd say it's bonkers in the way catch 22 is#though catch 22 is a better movie#but it's just kind of...out there...and if you're not in the right mood to watch a send up you're not going to have any fun#but it's a movie i'd ultimately recommend!

Middleman's Love Ep 2 Stray Thoughts
Last week, we left the serious tone of Bed Friend behind for the too cartoonish energy of Middleman's Love. Yim's comedy will prove divisive, and it seems that book readers are not happy about these developments at all. Jade, Uea, and King all have interns at the office, which seems so much more normal and quieter now that we're not in Uea's headspace. Everyone is beautiful, and Uea and King are thriving. Jade is convinced that his intern is in a budding relationship with Uea's intern, and Jade has decided it is his fudanshi duty to hook them up. However, Mai is clearly interested in Jade.
Oh right. We left at this confrontation.
Oh my. Mai is making up stories in his head that are so dramatic. At least we're developing his personality. I hope there is more here than Beautiful and Attracted to Jade.
Yes, Jett, make them have a sleepover. We don't have a lot of episodes.
I'm okay with the BL boys missing their nephews lately. First Sailom, and now Jade. I miss my godson!! I showed him the classic Muppet Movie and he made fun of it!
I understand that people really don't like the bobble heads.
What the hell is going on with this notebook?
Mai is clearly staying in a hotel room. Are we treating this like a normal apartment? Also, are we supposed to take the chess board as indicative of his personality or the way he's been acting up to this point?
Okay, I am so mad that the episode cuts are on Gaga. This is so tacky. I hate this more than I can properly articulate.
Why is Mandee relying on biometrics to secure their office? Is it that serious??? This is an obvious COVID vector.
I hope we unpack Mai's shyness later.
It's time for JUICE!!!
Oh lord, Jade is making up stories in his head too.
Jade is NOSY.
The boss just said to go home. What deadline are we up against that we're still here?
Interesting. Jade and Uea have a fear of the dark.
Of course we got a pratfall kiss out of it.
Pursuing someone who you know doesn't like you because it's a challenge is Not a Slay.
Look at Jade being too involved in other people's problems only to deflect about his own.
Gus really took that shot in front of everyone.
It's like they knew we were getting bored and brought out Uea and King.
I'm glad Mai's crush on Jade is transparent to everyone else.
Uea wants to ask about Mai's shoes? That's a classic Bourbon street scam. Don't fall for it, Mai! Get the fuck out of there!!
I wish Mai's reasons for liking Jade were more revelatory about his own personality.
Is Tutor really as tall as James?? I got a bit distracted by how beautiful both of them are.
Why is the Cutie Pie theme playing like it's coming from another room?? Oh my god.
Looks like King wins. Was this part of his and Uea's plan?
Oh....Cheewin, my dude. I have loved you for a long time, but can we not have a swoon moment when someone is about to fucking vomit?
Okay, this is a good low-stakes watch for me, but I do admit to being a bit disappointed that Mai seems kinda empty so far. I had hoped Tutor would get to do more than just be beautiful after his first pairing with Yim in Cutie Pie, but I'll just take this as a candy watch.

My top ten favorite Christmas movies
Rise of the Guardians. Technically not set at Christmas but Santa is a character in it.
An American Tail - Actually set during Hanukkah so it's technically a Hanukkah movie.
10. Nearly all versions of A Christmas Carol. They may all tell variations of the same story but I have a soft spot for them. The animated one with Tim Curry, the Kelsey Grammar musical, the Jim Carey motion capture version, the 80s Scrooged version with Bill Murray.
In fact the ONLY version of A Christmas Carol I don't like is that awful 2019 BBC mini-series version that adds child molestation, sexual assault, urinating on a grave, non-Forgiveness and all together just a mean, cynical version... That version missed the point of the story entirely and taints all other versions by simply existing. That's how much I hate that 2019 version.
But I stand by that I love nearly all versions of A Christmas Carol. There are several adaptations and only one bothers me.
Specific favorite version of a Christmas Carol is The Muppet Christmas Carol - Despite being done with muppets this is one of the most faithful adaptations of a Christmas Carol while also having some great muppet humor.
9. ALL the Rankin Bass Holiday specials, stop motion and cell animation. I love all of them. And they're mostly a shared universe like Universal's Monster movies or the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Only some of these are movie length. My favorites change based on my mood whether Twas the Night before Christmas, Nester the long eared Christmas Donkey, or Rudolph and Frosty's Christmas in July.
Currently my favorite is probably The Life and adventures of Santa Claus, based on the novel by L. Frank. Baum. It's technically set in the same universe as The Wizard of Oz books but you'd have to read the original novel to know that. There's also a cell animated adaptation but I prefer the 80s stop motion version.
In this story Santa was raised by faeries in an enchanted forest and the story is actually these immortal beings determining if he's worthy to be made into an immortal too because if he isn't made immortal he's destined to die that night. Needless to say, they grant him immortality.
Again, my favorite is subject to change based on my mood.
8. Legend of Hell House - I'm only putting this on the list out of technicality. The movie ends on Christmas day and that's when the ghost is defeated. I first saw this movie late at night with my friend Lorie. We decided to watch it because Roddy McDowall was in it. And we were so sure he would die. He was the sort of character that dies in those sort of movies. He had been in the house before. He was meek, timid, and kind. He was nerdy. It was a cliche that someone like him would die. It was a relief and surprise when he turned out to be the hero of the story.
7. Jim Carey's The Grinch. I have a soft spot for this once since my mother loved it so much.
6. Marvel Superhero Adventures: Frost Fright! Most people don't even know this exists but it's a Marvel superheroes Christmas special / movie. It even taught me the old Nordic version of Santa (may even be a persona of Odin). Jolnir (Yule-near). However in this version Jollnir is a light elf.
5. The Addams Family Christmas. Technically not a movie but an episode of the 60s Addams Family, it's just very sweet. The kids are told Santa isn't real so all the adult Addams decide to prove to them that Santa is real by dressing up and giving them gifts. Meanwhile while they're distracted, the real Santa shows up.
4. Ghostbusters 2 - I know this sounds weird but it's set right after Christmas and ends on New Years day and there's a lot of Holiday feel to it. Also I kind of like Ghostbusters 2 more than the first one. I'm weird. I also loved the Real Ghostbsuters animated series episode where the Ghostbusters accidentally bust the ghosts that haunt Scrooge and then they had to rescue them and save Christmas.
3. Edward Scissorhands - I love this movie and somehow often forget that it's a Christmas story even though it's a bitter-sweet fable about the origin of Christmas snow. And it has such a beautiful, Haunting score by Danny Elfman. The score is gorgeous. And Nostalgia Critic points out that much of the atmosphere comes from Danny Elfman's haunting score. When Kim is dancing under the block of ice without the music the scene is weird and awkward. The music makes it.
One time my mother and I were at the mall and I saw this nice anniversary edition DVD of Edward Scissorhands in a steel case. My mother and I went to McDonalds and while at McDonalds she handed me the money and said "Go back and get that Edward Scissorhands." That was my favorite Christmas gift that year.
2. Over the Garden Wall - This is a TV mini-series but when spliced together it makes a movie length story. And all the visuals are inspired by vintage New England Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas cards. Bonus mention: I forgot to mention the TV mini-series adaptation of Hogfather. It's a bit like Nightmare before Christmas. Set in Terry Ptatchett's fantasy Discworld, Death (The Grim Reaper) has to play the part of The Hogfather (Their world's version of Santa) one year. And it's actually very sweet. There's a scene where he saves a little match girl that chokes me up each time. And I love the moral that we need to believe in intangible / impossible things like love and justice in order to make them real.
1. Nightmare before Christmas - This has been my favorite movie since I was eleven-years-old. Not just favorite Christmas / Halloween, or Tim Burton film. Just favorite film, period.
I saw this with my Birthday money, it came out right before I turned twelve. I paid for my mother, brother, cousins and I to go see it. As soon as "This is Halloween" started I knew I was hooked.

Pride Month Triple Feature: Monthly Muppets Madness: Muppet Babies 2018: Gonzorella
Happy pride! Usually pride is a pretty big to do on this blog, with my first pride here being also my first pride publicly as a bisexual man. But with my move pretty much every review I had planned for this month got thrown around. So to make up for it i'm condensing my pride plans into one day. Two shorter reviews and one longer review that i've been trying to do since the first pride, and seems the most timely given everything going on. So with that it's time for Monthly Muppet Madnesss yayyyy. The plan here was changed as with a lot of longer reviews originally planned.. I just wasn't up to doing Return to Labyrinth quite yet. I still plan to, in or outside of pride, but I realized it didn't really FIT the season the way the original movie did. So instead we're going to daycare for this one as we look at the muppet babies reboot. I finally watched some with my young nephew a month or two back while watching him, and honestly.. it's a delight. I can't say how it compares to the original as I watched maybe two episdoes as a kid as it was before my time, though i'm sure i'll be covering some of it eventually, but the reboot is a lovely preschool show. Admitely like most preschool shows it has to be simple: our heroes have some sort of dillema young kids can learn from, they work through it, usually with the help of Nanny(this time played by the incomprable and wonderous Jenny Slate), and we all have a laugh or two. It's not bad, it's just not clearly meant for a 31 year old man, and that's fine. My 2 year old nephew, whose in the target age range, loved it. Not every cartoon has to aim for both adults and kids, and there's still a ncie nod here or there for the adults who do watch. As for this episode in paticular, this one I found while trying to see if the Muppets had done anything related to the Transgender community, as I felt i'd neglected them in previous prides and it was time to rectify that. They hadn't as far as I could tell.. but they did do this episode, in which Gonzo wants to wear a dress, and said episode is not only wholesome and heartwarming.. but also brings up a larger issue kids have been facing lately. As most of you reading this defintely know the right's faviorite new weapon is accusing trans and gender non conforming folks, as well as non binary, gender fluid, and genderqueer persons, of "grooming" children. Which is a fancy and douchey way of saying
While the right has naturally captalized on this as their new boogieman. It's why gender affirming care has been banned several places and why the world truly and clearly sucks right now. So naturally a muppet preschool show just casually saying "it's fine to wear a dress if your a boy" without slapping a label on what Baby Gonzo is just yet... got a lot of the same bollocks. And it's just.. depressing honestly. Disgusting, horrible and hard to stomach, also yes, but mostly depressing that they can't just.. accept that gender has ALWAYS been complicated, it's just now many a person, many who likely always felt lost, know what to call themselves. This isn't some RADICAL NEW CONCEPT, it's just society finally acknowledging that gender isn't binary or assigned at birth. It's why i'm GLAD that more and more kids content like this is making it clear to kids whose parents may not be accepting for very stupid reasons.. that no, your normal.
So as for the episode itself like most Muppet Babies 2018 episodes the premise is a pretty simple dillema of the week: Piggy and Summer are having a princess party based on an old book that says just how it should go. For those less familiar with this version of the series, Summer is an original character, a purple pengy. She fits right in though and i'd honestly love to see her grown up self join the rest of the muppets someday. I mean Skeeter eventually got there via the comics. We also get Rizzo, who lives in the walls of the daycare and shows up ocasoinally to hang out giving us the story of cinderella.
This naturally comes into play given the title: the book says boys dress up at knights and girls as princesses, but Gonzo wants to wear a frilly dress. Gonzo also feels like the perfect charater to do this: he's always been the outsider of the group, someone who on the outside is full of confidence but on the inside is full of self doubt. So having him WANT to simply wear a dress but be too scared of loosing his friends to is a good narrative for him. We know they probably woudln't care or if anyone did the rest would stand up for him, but for a tiny child wanting to wear a dress when boys have typically not done that, it could be scary, not helped again by the many grown people telling them their brainwashed and they don't know what they know. Just as I relate to the adult gonzo, a small child can relate to Gonzo's fears of not being accepted. Hell when I came out as bisexual, i was terrified my family wouldn't accept even though I had zero reason to think they'd be assholes about this and they've been nothing but loving and accepting. It can be hard to be who you are for an adult who knows that most people in their life will accept them, I can't imagine what it'd be like for a small kid.
Rizzo becomes his fairy god rat, and helps him become gonzorella, but tells him the spare wears off at cake o clock, because tha't when they have cake and my brain will just accept that because i'm stretched for time.
The episode goes pretty stock from here: Piggy and Summer try to stick to the book, Gonzo does something Gonzo like make a chicken themed crown or bust a move on the dance floor during a boring ballroom dance, it makes it better, they see "hey being diffrent isn't so bad". It's as subtle as brick to the head.. but it's also for kids around 2-6, ones whose own parents may tell them nto to be so "different", so I can see why subtley isn't really needed and the show still treats kids smartly enough to not feel like it's talking down to them, which is something I feel is necessary in a kids show of any audience. It just tells a story with a moral and while the moral is obvious, it's one kids need to hear and MANY adults need to hear. Naturally gonzo has to run out, his neighbor has been kidnapped... and also the spell is running out. But I like the nice twist: instead of our heroes seeking out our cindy stan din, Gonzo realized he dosen't LIKE having to hide and Rizzo enrouages him that since they liked the other diffrent stuff.. they might like this after all, and Gonzo reveals he likes wearing dresses... and everyone accepts it. Most touchingly Piggy fully apologizes, realizing she made him feel bad and deciding
We get a dance party ending and ew're out
So yeah this episode is good. I didn't have much to say because i'ts both short and not exactly something I need to deeply dive into to understand, but still VERY good for kids, and for muppets fans alike. Thanks for reading

Sleepy Kisses
Lil' 1.2k sleepy pondering about Kieran idk what else to tell you lot
As far as new relationships go dating someone who had a schedule just as busy as yours had been hard to say the least. It was almost like the two of you were just two ships in the night most of the time, having to settle for mostly FaceTime calls and texts. That had not kept you from falling head over heals for Kieran in just a few months. His accent didn’t help much when it came to not seeing heart eyes. The two of you had finally found a night where you were both free and in London. You had been dying to have a proper date night, but the thought of paparazzi’s and prying eyes had instantly put both of you off the thought of going out in public. You wanted to savour the intimacy of the honeymoon period without speculation about what this was even before either of you had the answer that question for yourselves.
So when Kieran had offered a movie night at his apartment you had jumped at the opportunity. On paper it was the perfect date idea for both of you. However what you did not account for was that both you and Kieran were exhausted from traveling, games, training and work. So when one movie had turned into a mini marathon both of you had fallen asleep on the couch, tangled together into a mess of limbs.
You both woke up in the middle of the night looking at each other grinning at each other. Originally the plan had been for you to drive home after the movie but now was too late for that. Kieran had suggested you just sleep at here, he even offered to take the couch while you enjoyed the comfort of his big bed. You had called him a muppet for even thinking that you didn’t want to spend the night tucked safely in his arms, breathing in his scent, wearing one of his old t-shirts,
——————————————————————————————————
When you woke up the early morning sun filled the room with a pale light, making everything seem quiet and peaceful. You opened your eyes letting them adjust to the light. The room around you was quiet, filled only with the hum of distant traffic mixed with the slow and steady breaths of the sleeping man next to you.
You watched as his sculpted chest rose rhythmically, his lips slightly ajar. You could lay here and watch him sleep forever, you thought. You wanted to spend eternity studying the way his rosy cheeks faded into the pale skin of his cheekbones. Your hand twitched at the urge to run your fingertips along the porcelain like skin draped over his boyish features. You bit your lip, holding your breath, when his eyes fluttered under his closed lids for a second, worried he would wake up and catch you staring, but much to your delight he did not stir awake instead letting out a content hum. A sigh of bliss escaped your lips at the chance to spend just a little while longer admiring your sleeping boyfriend. You wanted to savour each inch of his body, meticulously filing away each inch of Kieran in your memory. You wanted to be able to recall each freckle and every mole that covered his body even when the two of you were apart. To trace them like consolations in your mind whenever you couldn’t manage to fall asleep and counting sheep seemed redundant. You wanted to map out the way his slender fingers fell on to the blanket, how his arms bled into those strong shoulders, how the muscles that shaped his chest moved with each breath.
You allowed yourself the luxury to get lost in the way his hair was a mess atop his head, loose strands falling against his forehead, framing his brow perfectly. He would probably say he needed a haircut, but all you thought he needed in this moment was your fingers tangled in his locks.
He looked like a statue that may belong in the Louvre or Vatican museum. Perfectly still and breathtakingly beautiful, most certainly crafted by the hands of the most talented artist on the globe. The only thing indicating he was not cut from marble, shaped specially for you was the boyish pink of his cheeks and lips. His lips. They looked much like a juicy peach would, sweet and delectable on a hot summer day.
All you wanted in this moment was to hold his perfect statuesque face and taste those lips. To kiss him till you were both breathless, for the only sound filling the room to be both of you gasping for breath, grinning like idiots. However you did not want to wake him, to disturb the beautiful sight of his serene state. To intrude on something as celestial and pure as this moment, seeing him illuminated by the morning sun, much like if he was some mystical being sent to walk amongst the living.
You shifted closer to him, trying your best to not disturb him, wanting to soak up the warmth his beauty was emitting, your faces inches apart. His breath hitting your body, creating the familiar tingle of goosebumps appearing wherever it hit your skin. You would only need to move a millimetre to connect your lips. To taste him, let him fill you with a sense of life and belonging. But instead your eyes scanned the way his lashes curled, the way his nose curved, the way his perfect lips curved.
“I swear if you don’t do it I will” Kieran’s scratchy morning voice sapped you out of your trance making your cheeks burn with embarrassment. His eyes were still closed as a lazy smile danced on his lips.
You didn’t reply, not trusting your brain to form a sentence in your embarrassed state.
“Well?” He asked opening his eyes, rising an eyebrow.
The moment your eyes met his you could swear you were a goner. You felt like you had died and gone straight to heaven. You were usually weak in the knees for his glance, but something about the way he looked at the moment, innocent and pure, the softness of sleep still evident in his hazel eyes, made you lose any ability to think. Maybe it had something to do with the way he looked at you like you were the only person in the world, like you had hung the stars in the sky. You wanted to wake up to this every single day for the rest of your life.
You opened your mouth but no words came out, making Kieran chuckle. He leaned forward connecting your lips. Your hands instantly cupped his jaw as you felt a grin spread against your lips. You felt like the world around the two of you disappeared and this moment of pure bliss would never end. The way his lips lazily moved against yours, with no rush making your heart skip a beat. And at that moment, in the privacy of Kieran’s bedroom you knew there was no way back. You had fallen in love and there was nothing in the world that could change that.

thank you for the tag @albonoooo <333
star sign: leo (attention whore signs 4 the win)
favourite holiday: my neighborhood does neighbor day every year and that’s a solid percentage of my favorite childhood memories. my neighborhood is very very close (very much so an “it takes a village” mentality) so i grew up with essentially twenty aunts and uncles. and also like ten dogs and thirteen vaguely cousin-esque figures on my block. anyways it’s like a massive potluck barbecue thing, it goes from like noon to whenever the last person heads in (which can be quite late). think like. potluck barbecue to casual day drinking to big bonfire w smores as the day goes by. as a kid i spent the whole day roaming the neighborhood and coming back every so often to grab food from the tables before heading off again. as an adult i got to get drunk on seltzers with a bunch of 50 somethings and it was incredible
last meal: omg it was my last ohio meal… i got it from this really special like local version of sonic’s (like a drive up food place). they make their burgers w a little bit of brown sugar and mashed banana (they’re the best burgers i’ve ever had). so i had a double hamburger w fries and a mint shake w brownie spindled in. if you’re ever driving through ohio PLEASE hit me up to get this place’s name it’s GLORIOUS. 1980s pricing (admittedly 80s portions too lol). neon signs everywhere. what i will miss the most
current favourite musician: i tend to just hit play on my liked songs so whatever i liked most recently gets played wayyyy more. a lot of the backseat lovers rn
last music listened to: mama’s gun by glass animals (BANGER OF A SONG!!!)
last movie watched: the muppet christmas carol i think . yeah according to letterboxd that lmfao
last tv show watched: i just binged monarch: legacy of monsters w my parents (amazing godzilla tv show but godzilla’s only in it for like. 10 minutes total lol. gay people <3) and then we started lockwood & co tonight on a whim
last book/fic finished: the invisible library by genevieve cogman !!! so good. librarian spy thieves…
last book/fic abandoned: oh gosh. i am such a completionist that i don’t think i ever leave books unfinished. technically i won’t be able to finish the masked city (the sequel to the invisible library) bc it belongs to the library and i am moving. but i will be picking it back up as soon as i have a library card in my new area so? does that even count? yeah i don’t really dnf things
currently reading: the masked city by genevieve cogman technically. lol. i’m trying to read at least a page a day in january. some days that means literally reading a page other days it’s reading 300. since i started the masked city like four days ago ive only made it through 30 pages bc moving is a nightmare so.
last thing researched for writing/art/hyperfixation: hm. technically for the last thing i like posted that would be the drug testing guidelines for f1 (tldr fun fact party drugs are fine out of competition). i read like. 60 pages of legalese. and a bunch of medical stuff and then several wikipedia pages and guides for athletes. the last wikipedia article i opened was for NATO and i have no idea why LOL
favourite online fandom memory: i have the memory of a goldfish… i’m also pretty sure f1 is the first time i’ve been involved w a fandom like. as it’s happening. i’m usually a latecomer . i did enjoy whatever the fuck went down w supernatural and putin that was fun second hand (literally thru a groupchat bc i was in my significantly less terminally online era aka i was in college)
favourite old fandom you wish would drag you back in/have a resurgence: newsies (1992) my beloved… i plotted out a fic that would stretch over like. 40 years. i went INSANE on historical accuracy research. and then i got depressed… someday my magnum opus (slice of life polyamory through turn of the century nyc) will come to fruition
favourite thing you enjoy that never had an active or big fandom, but you wish it did: i feel like there’s been a million times i’ve walked out of a movie (or finished a book, or a tv show) and gone to ao3 and then it has like. 4 works. the rivers of london series by ben aaronovitch only has like . 1k fics on ao3. and not a lot of ppl posting on tumblr. so maybe that?
tempting project you're trying to rein in/don't have time for: all of them tbh… runners au really (it’s spawned into like three different fics of plot lines Plus an epistolary type companion…). i literally constantly come up w ideas (usually hyper specific aus) all the time ask dees it’s a PROBLEM for me. bc i have no time for any of them…
no pressure tags if u wld like <3 @userkritaaay @leclercenjoyer @drivestraight @oscarpiastriwdc @eyes-likepilotlights (i have not paid a ton of attention to who has done this/been tagged sorry)

9 People I'd Like To Know Better
Tagged by: @iron-sparrow and @dragonsongmakhali
Tagging: The few people active in my orbit have seemingly all been tagged already...so do it if you want to and haven't, yet!
Last song: While it should be some classic crooner Christmas song...it's actually Doja's Paint the Town Red, because I finally have an ounce of inspiration and a moment's respite from being ill, and I'm working on something neat with XIV animation replacements and video editing. I've...had to hear this song on loop a lot, though, while figuring things out - and while I love it, it's about time to hop on that Spotify Christmas music playlist...
Favorite color: Technically, neon green (most shades of green tbh - I enjoy a nice, calming forest green, as well). But black and red are also favorites.
Last movie/TV show: Muppet Christmas Carol, because it's that time of year. (Next up is the movie that shaped my own preference for Christmas decorating: Rankin/Bass' Rudolph.)
Sweet/Savory/Spicy: No favorites, I like them all depending on my mood! I have a sweet tooth, but I also really like sweet + salty (catch me dipping salty fries into a frosty from Wendy's). I LIVE for spicy food...but beware...as you get older, your body hates spicy food and it will destroy parts of your insides you didn't know existed, so I've been suffering and learning the hard way lately how much spicy I can still have. Meaty/umami flavors are probably my least favorite - I actually dislike the texture/taste of red meat so much in general, I had to get iron supplements, lol.
Relationship status: Complicated to explain! I guess the best way to describe it is: I live with my queer platonic partner, whom I used to date/be romantic with. But...I'm the queer one, so...idk, I guess the term still applies!
Last thing I googled: I have no idea, most of my searches lately have been within various modding Discords. But my last online search was probably also in that same vein - looking for various XIV mods/animation mods, now that I've discovered those.
Current obsession: I've been far too ill of late to engage with much...uh, I got a bit obsessed with Adventure Time after finally watching all of it, and Fionna and Cake; I went hard on the Marceline merch. But I guess I'm also kinda obsessed with trying to find new hobbies, since there's been 0 interest in RP with my characters in a couple years now, and RP was my one big hobby for like...the last decade or more. Filling the time I would be RPing with is tough, when I don't know anyone local (and love tabletop and have a campaign world already made for Pathfinder...), and my health has bounced around, so I've gotten back into cross stitch (and I'm...trying needle-felting. It's...something.)
#mun things#literally every one of these I read had all the people I know tagged already#so I won't be a nuisance and tag again#every time I do this '9 things' thing I feel like not much changes xD

Have you ever listened to a musical before? O: Do you have any favorite? I for one love one called Six and Beetlejuice! (If the answer to the first is no, do you have any favorite disney song? <.<)
((If the answer to even that one is none, maybe any childhood nursery rhymes you like? xD))
All these backup questions, thank you xDD
I listen to musical songs from time to time and if it's available, I watch recordings of musicals as well. I haven't seen many of the popular musicals though, like Wicked.
During my late teens, I was obsessed with the Cats musical and watched it often (the new one can rot in a ditch somewhere). For my birthday during my early twenties, my mom took me to see the Lion King musical because I used to be a Lion King nerd. I thought the Shrek musical and Avenue Q were hilarious. Hamilton made me cry. The Disney Cruise and Park musicals are... something x'D.
And if I haven't seen the "Broadway" version of a musical (recorded or live), I may have seen it in movie form like Beetlejuice, Little Shop of Horrors and Moulin Rouge, Sweeney Todd, Rocky's Horror Picture Show, Les Miserables, Sound of Music, Grease, La La Land, Mama Mia, Hairspray, along with all the animated Disney movies and some live action ones, some Muppets stuff, other animated musicals and so on.
Do I have any favorites? I can't say I do but I do/did enjoy a lot of them.

41. How do you take your coffee?
If hot coffee or regular iced coffee, I take whole milk and a dash of half and half, I used to do a lot of iced lattes but lately at the coffee shop I’ve been doing cold brew with oat milk and lots of raw sugar
44. My free pass to uh encourage someone to walk toward the light: I mean it’s gotta be Bibi, right? I’d also absolutely love to show Joe Arpaio the exit
46. Favorite holiday film: I like to watch 1776 the musical on the 4th of July. But my favorite Christmas movie is the Muppets Christmas Carol

👁️🌊⚠️🌧️💭⚡️ for Sloane, Mark, and if you want, Everett
👁️ - How do other people perceive this oc? How close do their first assumptions come to the truth?
Sloane: She's tall and beefy and has a naturally scowling resting face, so people tend to be really intimidated by her at first. She IS kinda scary and extremely direct when she's in Business Mode, but when she relaxes, she's got a sharp-eyed, witty charm about her.
Mark: He seems to give off trustworthy vibes, which is technically true, he's not going to rob or attack anyone, but the flip side to that is he has trouble trusting anyone else, including himself.
Everett: if it looks like a con man, quacks like a con man...
🌊 - Does this oc have a secret or repressed desire?
Sloane: She's actually deeply in love with Diane Fishwoman (they are also business partners and friends with benefits), but neither of them are physically capable of admitting any sort of emotional vulnerability.
Mark: oh, well, he's had the ability to express desire mostly beaten out of him, so all of them are secret. 🤷
⚠️ - If this oc came with a warning sign, what would it be?
Sloane: DOES NOT HAPPILY OBEY TRAFFIC LAWS
Mark: FRAGILE
Everett: THIS MAN IS A PROFESSIONAL TWITCH STREAMER AND LITERAL DEMON FROM HELL
🌨️ - If this oc had a day free from all their responsibilities, how would they spend it?
Sloane: She'd spend a good chunk of it still dealing with things pertaining to her responsibilities, like cleaning her gun and maintaining her car and restocking her emergency supplies, but the rest of it would be spent sitting on the back stoop of her building, staring off into space with a pack of cigarettes and a cold drink.
Mark: Ideally: At the house of a close friend, just... hanging out. Sitting on their couch while the friend plays video games or watches a movie, helping them with housework, chopping vegetables for dinner, staying up way too late just existing. Realistically though, since he doesn't really have any close friends anymore, he'd enjoy a nice hike through a state park or a nature preserve or something like that.
💭 - How is their mental health? Do they struggle with guilt or shame?
Sloane: She says she's fine (who even is, though??) but she has some ptsd from her history of being paid to put herself in harm's way that she self-medicates.
Mark: lol. Lmao. (Somebody PLEASE get this man a therapist and some very strong medication)
⚡ - Does this oc have any unusual or “irrational” fears?
Sloane: Not a lot gets to her, but mold and mildew really does. She also can't eat peaches because the fuzzy texture reminds her too much of mold
Mark: Pushing aside his long list of traumatic fears that seem irrational on the surface if you don't know the context, he's got, at the bottom of the list, a deep fear of mascot characters. Mall santas, barney the dinosaur, disneyworld walkaround characters... Hates them with a burning passion. Which is a shame because he would be ADORED at furry cons!!! Mark you don't understand what you're missing!!!
