I know it isn't part of the main canon but that scene in rvb zero when Tucker is babbling about his sword and Wash laughs fondly and goes "man I missed you" IS EVERYTHING TO ME????
Like especially with Tucker flatlining, Wash was probably terrified thinking he'd never get Tucker's smart ass remarks, hear him going on tangents, his complaining, his voice, see his smile again, hear his laugh, and the fact that it reminds me of Tucker losing his mind everytime something happens to Wash as well I JUST,,,,THEY'RE EVERYTHING TO ME?????

Back when the team in Washington actually won games, went to the Super Bowl and had a fan base that gave a damn about things.

2/16/1960: On this day in Professional Football History: The Washington Redskins announced that their starting quarterback, Eddie LeBaron announced his retirement from the National Football League. “It wasn’t an easy decision, but I’ve been with the Redskins for 10 years and figured the time had come to make the break,” LeBaron said.
LeBaron had been named to the NFL pro bowl three times (1955, 1957 & 1958). He was the NFL’s top-rated passer during the 1958 NFL season. The Redskins drafted LeBaron in the 10th round of the 1950 NFL draft and was with the team from 1950-1953 & 1955-1959. He played with the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League in 1954.
“It’s time I got started in the profession I’ve chosen. My family wanted me to quit and so did my parents. I realize I owe the Redskins a certain obligation, but I’ve given this every consideration in reaching my decision,” LeBaron said. He had recently passed the California Bar exam and was joining a law firm out of Midland, Texas.
“They (Redskins) offered me a very fine contract. But I’m thirty years old, I’ve taken a pretty good physical beating, and it’s time I gave my wife and children some permanent roots and a more normal home life,” LeBaron said. He would be staying close to football however, as he signed a three-year contract with the Redskins as a scout covering the Southwestern colleges.
