Sadly, it’s the name of the game. As to your last point, given that he’s not actually dating them, they’re using each other for whatever mutual gains. The fact that TR (and OD if that turns into something) are less famous than he is, actually is so helpful to him. They’re much less likely to get dredged up in people’s memories (unlike H*ylor that seems like it will never die) and he’s more likely to have control of the situation (unlike with the Holivia nightmare).

Closeting in the entertainment world is an open secret, if anon looks back over the decades even as far as Rock Hudson - everyone in the ‘industry’ knew he was gay, but it was hidden from the public because he was a product. Harry, actors and singers have carefully crafted images and are products.

Naya Rivera wrote about it in her book, which was mostly about Glee but had info about show business in general. I’m paraphrasing here but she said something like ‘whenever we’d go out we’d see the PR couples get papped going into the club then they’d leave through the back with the person they’re really dating’.

I’ve read from several sources that the vast majority of the PR couples we see in People magazine etc are fake. It’s not a coincidence that ‘single’ leads have relationships during filming then break up. It’s all PR, all of it, and everyone in the industry knows it.

Yes, there are more PR relationships than real relationships being fronted in tabloids and gossip magazines. They're everywhere. And everyone in the industry knows everyone's business. Larry isn't a secret at all. Closeting is incredibly common, and being queer is one of the main reasons celebrities are motivated into taking part in PR relationships.

But also, every celebrity that enters into PR relationships has a PR team vetting the possible candidates. So even if the celebrity don't know if X or Y is gay, their PR does. It's their job to know. So if OW didn’t know, her PR told her before she signed the stunting contract.

The break up article will come out before his rescheduled LA dates in January. It has been heavily rumoured and implied that season three of Ted Lasso that comes out soon will be the last season. They might not be doing a season four but I guess we’ll have to wait for official confirmation but that is what a lot of the writers and Jason himself he said. If season three is the last season that means they are done filming but also Olivia has no reason to be in the UK next year. She has no reason to be in Europe. The only reason why she was able to follow him around Europe all of last year was because of the fact that she was already in the UK and it is very easy to travel within Europe. Harry’s going on to her again in February to New Zealand and Australia and Lord knows she’s not gonna go all the way there with him nor can she. And if he’s on tour in Europe next year she won’t be able to follow him not to mention he has an Asia dates that he’s going to be announcing. She’s It’s going to be in America because of the fact that that’s where her kids and Jason will be and she won’t be able to follow him halfway across the world. It’s going to be very difficult for her to go to Europe, Asia, Australia every other week because that is more travel time and it’s gonna be a lot harder for her to do so. The stunt will be over by the beginning of next year. The fact that they haven’t been seen together in LA Says a lot and the fact that she has a photo shopped pictures to make it seem like they’re together also says a lot to me. She can go to all the conscious that she want to but if he refuses to be seen with her in public then she’s fucked. She can release all of the unseen photos that Bab’s takes of her and Harry when they go on pap walks in the UK but it doesn’t matter. As the stunt goes on and as the movie has come and gone Harry gets over it and doesn’t really care to put in much effort. She knows it’s coming to an end and so does Harry and his team are annoyed with her

May I ask about this opinion? Not to argue, just wondering what you mean? For me he´s still very much closeted so every woman he stunts with is also a beard. But I get all women including the current one make this stunt deal to boost their career so he´s basically giving them the platform, right? I´m just wondering what you meant with massage certain other aspects of his image? Maybe when he moved from models to actresses is him trying to break through in the movie industry?

Oh, I absolutely agree that he still closeted. I just meant that in the earlier years, when he was still in the band, the main thing they seemed to be trying to do was say he’s straight, and he dates models. It raised his profile a bit and it made him look “cool and sexy to people who think that way about men who date models. Swiftie and Kendall were mainly to raise his profile as they were more famous in America when he dated them.

These days, his PR relationships seem to have a different focus. Obviously, they still make it look like he dates women. But, Camille was to give him a story to tie his album to, and she was his first “long-term girlfriend“ so that seemed to be a step towards changing the story that he was a womanizer. Olivia was, I think, originally supposed to be a step towards connecting him to the film industry (dating a Director/actress), and was also to show that he could play the PR game when it came to advertising whatever movies he might be cast in. And maybe, too, it was originally going to be another woman to tie an album to (although he clearly side-stepped that. Thank god). The whole thing was a disaster, but I think those were the original intentions. TR I haven’t quite made my mind up about. The relationship does seem to be fixing some of the issues with his image: holivia was an obvious PR stunt and literally everyone hated her. Harry’s fans who like seeing him with women love Hussell and see it as a return to the “low key” nature of Hamille which was the relationship many fans look to as being “real”. It also ticks off the box of soothing those who complain he only dates skinny, blonde, white women. And she’s a “serious” actress, so it still keeps one foot in that world.

So, yeah. In a way, they’re all beards. But I don’t think that’s the main focus these days.

Harry has a tendency to wear the same clothes over and over and over in general, but particular ones when he's stunting. He also *loves* looking as ridiculous as possible when he's next to stunts, and wears some funky weird pieces (like that towel/bandana on top of his head in the latest Hussell pic that makes him look like he's sunbathing with a pointy beanie on 💀).

You can see some of the clothes he re-wore during Holivia here. And the 'stunt jacket' aka playdium jacket is one he wore a lot in the last year-ish I'd say. I don't have it tagged I don't think, but you'll see it in several pics over and over if you go thru my holivia tag.

Stunt clothing is a staple strategy for stunts. They've been doing it since 1D, and it's used in the industry at large (either sharing certain clothes or always wearing a key piece so they're easily linked and recognized).

On Tumblr everyone easily talks about a stunt, reviews and analyzes it and talks about all the details, I don't know if this makes a stunt official or not and if a stunt is going to happen It happens and it doesn't matter what we say. But on Twitter, there was finally a tweet of a few words like Harry with her or something like that. And many on twitter don't even say anything about it and tweet their favorite content. Which is better, leave the stunt and ignore it or analyze and talk about it

No idea, nonnie. When I don’t want to talk about it I don’t. And sometimes I do. It’s up to each and everyone’s comfort level and what helps them best to make their fandom experience enjoyable.

In terms of “writing a stunt into existence” when it isn’t yet, or “ignoring a stunt in full swing”, I don’t think that has any effects on the outcome. Holivia was the worst PR and fandom dumpster fire, and it didn’t stop them from going on.

In reference to this I am not really blaming Harry but looking at the past PR stunts I don't really think that Harry wants to totally cut ties with Olivia publicly. As I said I am not blaming Harry but I think as usual we will see a push of Holivia narrative in his next album and he will be asked about how many songs are about olivia on his album. There will be stunt songs, there will be clear references in his songs and there will be a heart broken Harry narrative push by his team. This was Harry's longest relationship publicly and they will clearly milk this as much as they can.

I know Olivia is an asshole and she will never no stone unturned to get the best out of this shit, but Harry's PR team is no better either. Even they went headlines.

While I see your point, I have to challenge it. There’s a difference between PR and closeting, and though I’m fully aware that they co-exist and that Harry participated in both, their objectives are different.

Usually, for Harry, the main purpose of stunts is to maintain his closet and serve as a reasonable backstory for any of his lyrics that would raise questions. It can, and usually does, have the added bonus of being tabloid/gossip fodder, which keeps him top of mind when he’s doing promo for an album/movie.

But to say that Harry’s PR is “no better” is really simplistic. It may not be entirely pure, and may sit in a very morally gray area, and we may not always like it, but that’s the reality of the industry; it’s what a homophobic industry requires in order for Harry to keep putting out music/art he loves at the level he’s at, because, as I’ve said before, Harry’s only protection and leverage is how lucrative he remains (MFASR music video, anyone?).

As far as I’ve seen, the only reason Olivia’s PR exists is to force her way into the A-list, at the expense of her work, the work of those around her, and other people’s professional and personal reputations. Nothing that she has done has uplifted anyone or anything, and has actually done damage to other people (Harry, Florence, the rest of the cast, her family).

So, while Harry’s PR may be morally gray, and you may disagree with how they leverage the shitstorm that was the past two years to his personal advantage in the future, I really don’t consider the objectives comparable, and I’d caution anyone against simply equating maintaining a closet in a well-known harshly homophobic industry to “wanting headlines”, even if they can happen concurrently. 😉

I just woke up and a BUA hit me. Announced at the very right time. Between the end of the tour in US and the next Pleasing drop, when both movies are on streaming services, HAHAHA shit is realised. I don't know if there could have been a better time.
