      𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐒𝐎𝐍 𝐎𝐅 𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐄𝐂𝐄’𝐒 𝐃𝐎𝐎𝐌 !          the child  /  the offspring , of a man whom with bare hands tore the pantheon asunder all on his own .     any gods that he had left alive & behind , were merely shells and shadows as their god of gods , king of lightning ‘pon a mountain reaching high into the clouds ,  had been slaughtered by his very own blood .  what atreus didn’t know , was that and that was everything , and everything was vital .          he was the child of a monster .          yet ,   when   the  child   looked   into   the   eyes   of   said   monster   what   he   saw   was   a   father ,        but when he looked into the eyes of a goddess whom had merely lost her all , he saw danger .   he saw home , and he saw foe .

yet despite this gut feeling churning deep inside ,       twisting up his heart beneath a rib cage carved from the mountains of jotunheim ,   his hands delicately trace the feather of one of the arrows she offers him .    his touch soft , barely there , so unlike kratos and more like his mother for   whom   all   her   fire ,   could   be   gentle   as   all   mothers   were .

Deathwatch (2002) When nine British soldiers find themselves lost behind enemy lines in 1917 during WW1, they decide to set up camp and defend the bunker. Little do they know, other forces are at work that are a bigger threat than the first they originally imagined. Deathwatch is a shame, it poses good ideas and is incredibly well acted, it stars future BAFTA award winners and acting legends like Andy Serkis! It just doesn’t really establish itself. To quote my girlfriend ‘you shouldn’t mix horror and war films really.’ I seen some say that the film is a psychological battle of wills, and some say otherwise, the problem here is because it fails to establish itself as one genre, it leaves too much to be desired. If it chose one you could narrow the choices down but it’s too open. It also takes a while to get going and the first half of the film is a tedious affair, offering heavy dialogue and not a lot else. The film does have its positives though, the acting is impressive, and contains some great performances, the soundtrack works well with the scenes, and when the moment comes for a dramatic scene, there’s a couple that really work and draw you in! Deathwatch could have been so much more, unfortunately it underperforms and doesn’t quite manage to explain itself enough, or make anything quite clear so that you know what’s going on, but the idea was there! Overall, Deathwatch is a film that had potential, and contains some great cast members. Swipe for a nasty surprise! The 2017 war-horror movie TRENCH 11 from director-writer Leo Scherman is a spectacular & brutal treat. Rossif Sutherland (another son of Donald) stars as Lieutenant Berton, a shell-shocked soldier working as a tunneller in the later days of World War I who's tasked with digging under a special compound the Germans are hiding a prototype weapon. When Lt. Berton & his platoon get where they're headed they find there are worse things than death, stumbling onto the beginnings of Nazism in its worst forms. Solid war-horror, which is an underused sub-genre, at least in terms of movies that are genuinely good. Sutherland's good in the lead role, plus there are a few supporting actors who do a bang up job. The practical effects are awesome, adding more unease to the already tense & claustrophobic premise of a platoon being underground in those tight tunnels.
