"Awe," his mouth purses.  Hale tries not to chuckle at the pout he hears in Izzy's voice.  Head tilting to the side, he reaches up to cup one perfectly soft cheek.  "Poor thing."  There's no blood as far as he can see, no cuts, no damage. Doesn't mean its not there or that it doesn't hurt.  Still, he couldn't just let the request go without doing anything about it.  

The pad of this thumb brushes lightly against her lower lip.  "Be careful.  These are precious."  A small smile grows as his finger continues the caress that helps calm his nerves.  Full lips glisten beneath the light, singing to him like an angel's choir.  Gravity coaxes him down for a gentle brush of lips.  "Better?"

BIO. 

         As one of four children, Mack has always been closest with his twin brother, Alec. Not to say that he wouldn’t do just about anything for all three of them. With their name, their parents have expectations for them to live up to it as well as what seems to be the rest of the town. And while Mack was both smart & athletic, this didn’t stop him from leaning more on the rebellious side. Learning how to take advantage of his parents at a younger age --- testing the limits on what they wouldn’t punish him for, or even notice. Which turned out to be not much so long as his grades were being maintained & he was a star athlete for the high school.

        More recently he’s become captain in the wake of a terrible tragedy. One that turned sweetriver into a town that was anything but sweet. As captain it becomes somewhat his job to keep up the morale of the team while striving to keep the title. Deep down it does lay an emotional weight on the boy which he often vents through parties & hooking up, among other various activities. No one quite knows the troubles that run through his mind, the heart that truly cares despite his jerk demeanor, the brains the can outwit many.

They are on the football team together just as they have done so many things in life together from the moment they were born. The Lightwoods are known for their powerful magic. For years, people have talked about them and their reputation. They were an old family and their magic spanned for generations. But like most old families, the Lightwoods were hiding a secret. They were affiliated with the Beast in the past and have done unspeakable things. Whether they regret it or not is a mystery to Alec, but they made him swear to never reveal their secret to anyone. The Lightwood parents taught their children how to clear his mind, meaning his mind would not be able to be read.

So Alec kept their secret, hating himself for doing so. He made it his personal mission to be the best he possibly could, wanting to restore his family name some honour. Granted, the Lightwoods’ involvement was kept secret but Alec wanted to make a name for himself, wanted to prove himself. He wasn’t like his parents, and he was determined for people to know that.

When he was younger, Alec would often sneak into his parents’ study to read their books. Magic was in his blood and he had to be the best. He wasn’t particularly surprised when he woke up one day at Brakebills University to sit his entrance exams. And he wasn’t surprised when he passed with flying colours either. It was in his blood, after all.

Alec has always worked as hard as he could to be the best. Even when he was younger, he felt an enormous amount of pressure on his shoulders from his parents. He tried as hard as he could to be the perfect son, as well as the perfect older brother to his siblings, Isabelle and Max. He worked to protect them and hoped that they never had to deal with his parents’ betrayal like he did.

Alec can often be found in the library, studying late. Like his parents, Alec’s discipline is natural magic, and he has the ability to manipulate the natural elements with ease. Alec excels in all of his classes, due to his sheer hard work and determination. But despite his hard work during his classes, Alec is well known for his partying ways. He’s openly gay and has no problems with flings, having more of them than he can really count. Alec is sarcastic and quick-witted but fiercely loyal to his friends. He has no problem with casual hook ups and has had a string of lovers while at Brakebills, something he’s gained a reputation for.

People have called him unusual for a Lightwood, but he tries not to let it bother him. After all, Alec has a lot to live up to and he’s prepared to do almost anything to clear his family’s name, restoring it to honour once more.

Isabelle Lightwood: Alec is fiercely protective over Isabelle, and he always has been. There’s only a year between their ages, but Alec still sees her as his baby sister. He wanted to protect her from the family secret, but it didn’t take long for her to learn it. And like Alec, she was sworn to secrecy. The two are incredibly protective over one another, and it shows in the closeness of their bond. (@warfated)

Magnus Bane: Alec met Magnus at a party and clicked instantly. It didn’t take long for the two of them to start hooking up regularly. While Alec does like spending time with Magnus, he isn’t interested in anything more. For now, the two are good friends and Alec doesn’t want to change that. (@highwarlockxbane​)

Raphael Santiago: The two met in their first year at Brakebills and clicked instantly. Raphael found he couldn’t read Alec’s mind due his parents teaching him how to block it. Eliot Waugh: Alec and Eliot have a carefree relationship. The best way to describe them would be ‘friends with benefits’.                    After his dad up and left his mum for another woman thanks to an affair he had, at the age of 15, Damen was left with the weight of being the man of the house on his shoulders. To which he takes very seriously. His mum is what keeps him grounded and he would do absolutely anything for her, to protect her. Thanks to his dad, he has serious trust issues, an obvious lack of belief in love, and an unbreakable bond of loyalty to those that matter to him.

                   In school, he’s somewhat of a voluntary loner. Mostly can be found reading in whatever corner he can. Keeping to himself until someone makes it a point to bother him. Damen is a fighter, so if he wants to put you in your place, he will and without hesitation. He has a quick, silver tongue with harsh words to match. Not afraid of anything or anyone with a hot-headed and short temperament. Jason Blossom is one of the many people who got on his nerve seeing as the two publicly butted heads on multiple occasions. 

                   he does have a healthy appetite for sex, one he satisfies when he feels the need arise. Casual sex his go to. But he has never been on a date, or has had a relationship under personal preference. he does not believe in feelings, emotions, or love and vows he never will. which is why he never flirts, or knows what to do when someone flirts with him.

     She was sure to be boring the Shadowhunter. From what she had learned over the years, they were in a constant state of ready to kill shit even when the shadow world was politely behaving themselves (pfft, they just didn’t get caught). Genevieve was seated cross-legged on the bed of her hotel room as she uploaded some photos to her blog.

     A smile started on her lips hearing Izzy’s cheesy line before she lifted hazel eyes to meet Izzy’s gaze. “Wow that’s kind of lame,” she deadpanned, smile pointing out her teasing. The laptop was closed, SD card ejected and replaced into the camera. She slipped from the bed to hold out her hand. “You may take my hand, but I fear I might faint from that level of naughty.”

Eyes roll.  Fingers curl to tip up Isabelle's chin so he can try inspecting her cheek under the flickering street light.  They'd been following a demon.  Or, maybe something else.  It was hard to tell anymore since one fight blended right into the other.  All he knew was Izzy hadn't been behind him when he stopped to judge his surroundings.  A noise made him turn on his toes and, suddenly, there was a small, small shadowhunter on his heel.  Guilt flushed his cheeks and all thoughts of whatever they were following was long forgotten.

"Let me apologize, though.  Fuck, I'm so sorry.  That was such a rookie mistake."  Hale took a step back and pointed at his chin.  "You get a free shot if you want it.  I'd say pull out the whip but I'd like that."

She liked flirting with Izzy. She liked the stolen kisses in alcoves even more. Morgan knows what’s at risk every time she starts something or lets Izzy draw her in. They’re a far cry from their first meeting; the Whitelaw had only flirted with her eyes while her mouth spoke of justice and Shadowhunter laws.

A finely manicured hand is curled around the slender black tie around her neck, tormenting and teasing. Morgan’s own rune-covered hands rest on tempting hips, her thumbs stroking at the flash of skin above Izzy’s waistband. While her own taste is firmly in the camp of androgyny and tailored suits, she certainly appreciates the allure Izzy’s fashion choices creates and flashes of skin that tease her. 

She leans back to press against the stone behind her as a slow smirk crawls across her lips. “Lead me somewhere private and soundproofed, and I’ll give you your dessert.” As much as she’s tempted to lower to her knees and make Izzy quiver right here and now, Morgan also has no interest in the repercussions if they were to be caught.

Biography

The thing about being born into a family like the Lightwoods was that you had to be strong. They’d been in Riverdale for years and their family came from old money, meaning everyone in the small town knew them. It wasn’t exactly easy, to be born into such a prestigious family, but Alec tried his best to keep up appearances. He tried as hard as he could to be the perfect son; perfect grades, on the football team, never in trouble with the law.

The problem? Alec has been struggling with his true self for as long as he could remember. All of his life has been spent trying to be the perfect son, the perfect person and someone everyone could rely on. He may have seemed confident on the outside but on the inside, it was like he was fighting a war against himself. Alec can never remember a time where he didn’t know he was gay. But the idea of being out, and on the football team, was too terrifying for Alec to really handle. Not only that, but he had no idea what his parents would think of his sexuality. So he made the decision to keep it to himself until he graduates high school and is able to leave Riverdale for good. All he wanted was somewhere he could finally be himself.

So for years, Alec kept his sexuality a secret. No one suspected a thing, not even his own family. He flirted with girls, even went on a few dates. Nothing ever came of it, of course, and it never progressed into anything more serious. All Alec wants to do is keep up his appearance and leave Riverdale as soon as he can.
