I wanna say, that I greatly enjoy your warframe stuff. Your Gyre build had just the right Oomph I needed for my Rhino. I was a big fat tank and now Wrathful Advance has made my Fragor dream shine so very brightly. I can't wait for my Charger to finish which I will name Cashews (Since my Helminth is named Peanuts and cashews are a bit toxic as I found out when I ate entirely too many and lightly poisoned myself). I can't wait to see what other fun nonsense you get up to.

i honestly didn't think to reveal the other half of this story. after putting wrathful advance on gyre i proceeded to put on most of my warframe arsenal because, well, as a melee focused player? it just makes the game more playable?

it is a universal solution to making your sword arrive in an enemy's skull as quickly as a bullet would.

as a reformed musou game enjoyer i just came to understand warframe can fill that void so admirably if i just never take my guns out.

The closest I can get to "canon" looks for my three frame OCs in the game: Alden, Lanius, and Higgins

Though technically both Alden and Lanius use a mix of elements from their regular prime looks, deluxe skins (electrolyst and phryke respectively), and my own additions, and I have no clue yet how exactly I'm gonna draw Higgins. But it's nice to have an appearance slot each that makes me go "you! It's you! Hi!"

Utawarerumono: ZAN coming to PC in 2025 - Gematsu

Publishers DMM Games and Shiravune, and developer Aquaplus will release Utawarerumono: ZAN for PC via Steam in 2025, the companies announced. It will support English, Japanese, and Traditional Chinese language options.

Utawarerumono: ZAN first launched for PlayStation 4 on September 27, 2018 in Japan, followed by September 10, 2019 in North America and September 13, 2019 in Europe. The PC version will feature a number of PC-specific optimizations and enhancements.

A Legendary Hero of wind from the digital world of magic known as "Witchelny". During the ancient times of Witchelny when the world was still immature and not developed enough in magic and unable to defend itself from invaders, it was Medieval Gallantmon that defended the world

In it's arsenal it wields armor made of sorcery and a magical lance named "Dynas" which conceals the power of the wyvren

In the "Digital World" it takes on the form shown off in general media where he just looks like a Gallantmon in fancier armor. As of now we've never seen what it's true form actually looks like

Of all the ancient digimon, using it's magic to transcend time, Medieval Gallantmon may in fact still be around

in the manga Digmon Dreamers it shown that a Wizardmon from Witchelny had the potential to digivolve into Medieval Gallantmon

*Just my opinion This may imply that Medieval Gallantmon may in fact also be related to Dynasmon along with being a subspecies of Gallantmon Both are knightly Megas for Wizardmon which involve having the powers of the wyverns

The Corufell Comparison?

Are gunblades the proper measuring stick to use when discussing the Corufell?

In my opinion, its playstyle is more aligned to warfans than gunblades. Gunblades fire constantly on normal attacks and for some, that can disrupt the perceived flow that most melee weapons have. Warfans [Edit: Arum Spinosa and Quassus] allow you to control when you want projectile use; like the Corufell.

Just a thought.

Alden i've already established as the Xoris User. Otherwise he prefers to use his own electricity. For guns I might just end up assigning him the Basmu bc it's not something i bring to high level stuff but it's Fun and i also don't bring Alden to high level stuff. I know the Fulmin would be more fitting for being electric and nice looking and all but i don't Like the Fulmin

Lanius is also very melee-heavy. Warfan enjoyer, so Quassus. They also like dual swords tho. If gun then Felarx: cool and pointy and hits like a truck

Higgins on the other hand does Not like melee (in contrast to the fact that most of the times i've died as Lavos have been bc i went rabid on an acolyte and forgot that i am not, in fact, immortal). If he has to, he likes hefty things like the Gram Prime. Hell, he prefers hefty weapons in general. Shotgun user. Cedo, Kuva Hek

Kodiak Would Like To Not Fight, Please. If he has to wield a weapon, he prefers slightly insane shit like gunblades or the gaze kitgun (laser beam go bzzzz), or snipers to keep everything away from himself, tho his aim is shaky. If push comes to shove he can always smack someone with his cane, but he Likes his cane, so he'd prefer to avoid breaking it

Kohlrabi and Keiko both have their amps and don't typically fight melee but jic, North has taught them both how to wield a knife. They eventually brought the two of them down to Cetus and let each of them pick out a knife of their own, which they both now carry. I'm sure they will come in handy someday

North has their weapons they had during TNW - Sirocco, Rumblejack, Nataruk. They technically share the Nataruk with Higgins bc he's also okay with using it. The Sirocco runs on void energy now tho and Higgins makes fun of the Rumblejack for being a buttering knife, so those are exclusive to North. (Despite finding them impractical due to size, they also have some interest in staves/polearms, bc they Look Cool To Use. They mentioned this to Hako randomly Once, to which Hako said that he does actually fight with a Bo! And then North was too intimidated to bring it up again for a Month bc they didn't know if Hako was excited to share or if he wanted to be The One Stick Guy in the group)

For Inktober daily prompt: 7. Fan Exotic weapons are always fun - as long as they're remotely practical, I like them. And I call myself a pacifist. I learned there are different types of Japanese war-fans, gunsen, tessen, and gunbai, and I decided this would be a gunsen pair (although with this level abstraction, indistinguishable from tessen).

Voruna musings (Warframe)

After kitting around with the wolf maiden, it turns out that I'm not a fan. The only passive that interests me is her status immunity (ie damage reduction against status DoTs).

Shroud of Dynar, on it's own, is fairly solid but the invisibility portion seems superfluous. I do like the increased crit damage, guaranteed status proccing and forced bleeds on any equipped melee weapon (do they stack with forced bleeds from stances). I also like that the buff extension from melee kills is baked in to the ability; unlike Valkyr's Eternal War (maybe they could look at doing this as part of any Valkyr rework?)

For me, Fangs of Rakesh seems to slow things down just a bit. It is a great lead in to Voruna's t1...

...and this is part of why I consider her a Condition Overload frame.

You'll have to decide what's more efficient for you, using this as a primer or your go to secondary.

Lycath's Hunt is the other reason I consider this a Condition Overload frame. When I first heard all the CCs discussing this ability, I thought how great this could be on other frames; Synth/Equilibrium builds... warfan/gunblade builds. But there's a catch... the target has to have five status effects on it for the drops to trigger and again you have to decide what's the most efficient method of priming for your playstyle.

Ulfrun's Descent also benefits from status primed enemies. You could say her whole kit revolves around Fangs. Descent feels like a show off power; you never really need to use it but it's there for shiz and giggles.

So with a good primer or a status thick melee, I would almost exclusively be using her t1; adding in her t3 for survivability for self and team play..

Haven't done any helminth stuff with it yet but her four is definitely getting the axe.
