How to Choose the Right Garment Finishing Services for Your Business?
Garment finishing is essential to fashion manufacturing, determining a clothing line’s overall quality and success. Garment finishing services involve the final stages of production, such as pressing, hemming, and alterations, that can enhance the appearance and durability of garments. As a fashion designer or manufacturer, choosing the right garment finishing services is crucial for the success of your business. With so many service providers available, it can be overwhelming to determine which one is the best fit for your needs.
When choosing a fashion warehousing and distribution service, there are several key factors to consider, including the quality of work, cost, turnaround time, expertise, range of services, reputation, and customer service. By carefully considering these factors, you can select a service provider that can deliver high-quality finishing while meeting your budget and deadlines.
This blog post will explore these factors in detail, providing insights and tips to help you choose the right garment-finishing services for your business.
1. Quality of Work
The quality of work is the most crucial factor when choosing garment finishing services. You want to ensure that your chosen company can deliver high-quality finishing that meets your standards. The best way to assess the quality of work is to ask for samples of their previous projects. Look at the finishing of the garments, such as the stitching, hems, and pressing. Check if the garments meet your quality expectations and whether the company has the expertise to deliver the desired finishing.
2. Cost
The cost of garment finishing services is another essential factor to consider. You want to ensure you can afford the services while maintaining a profitable business. When comparing costs, it is essential to look beyond the price and consider the value you are getting. For example, a company that charges more may provide better quality finishing, translating into higher sales and customer satisfaction. Be sure to compare prices from multiple companies, and feel free to negotiate to get the best deal.
3. Turnaround Time
The turnaround time is when it takes for the garment finishing company to complete the project. It is essential to choose a company that can meet your production deadlines. Late deliveries can cause delays in your production schedule and result in dissatisfied customers. Ask the company about its turnaround times and ability to handle rush orders. Getting a written agreement outlining the delivery times and any penalties for late deliveries is also a good idea.
4. Expertise
Garment finishing is a specialised skill, and you want to ensure that your chosen company has the expertise to deliver the desired finishing. Look for an experienced company working with fabrics and garments similar to yours. Ask about their experience, training, and certifications in garment finishing. An experienced company can offer valuable insights into the best finishing techniques for your garments and help you achieve the desired results.
5. Range of Services
The range of services a garment finishing service offers is another essential factor. Look for a company that offers a wide range of finishing services, such as hemming, pressing, alterations, and repairs. A one-stop shop for all your finishing needs can save you time and money. It also ensures that all the finishing is consistent across all your garments, giving your brand a professional look.
6. Reputation
The reputation of a garment finishing company is an essential factor to consider when choosing a service provider. Check online reviews, ask for references, and speak to other fashion designers or manufacturers to get recommendations. A company with a good reputation is more likely to deliver high-quality finishing and provide excellent customer service.
7. Customer Service
The level of customer service offered by fashion warehousing and distribution service is another critical factor to consider. Look for a responsive company that communicates well and provides excellent customer service. You want to ensure the company can promptly and professionally address any concerns or issues. A company that values its customers and provides excellent service can help build a long-term relationship that can benefit your business.
Connect with Efficient Group for The Best Garment Finishing Services
In conclusion, garment finishing is a crucial aspect of the fashion manufacturing process that can significantly impact the success of your clothing line. Choosing the right garment finishing services provider requires careful consideration of several factors, including the quality of work, cost, turnaround time, expertise, range of services, reputation, and customer service.
By assessing these factors and evaluating potential service providers, you can select a company that can meet your needs and delivers high-quality finishing within your budget and timeframe. A reliable garment finishing service provider can enhance the appearance and durability of your garments, improve customer satisfaction, and help build your brand reputation.
Remember, don’t just settle for the first or cheapest option you find. Take the time to research and compare different garment finishing service providers and ask for references and samples of their work.

Unexpected Delivery
There had been many changes when their father returned home. Some were new, some were the old status quo reasserting itself.
As Jeff had taken over the daily running of Tracy Industries and the paperwork associated with International Rescue, Scott had managed to take back some of his old duties on the Island.
One of those was unpacking the supplies Virgil regularly brought back from the mainland.
First was the perishables: foods, some of Brains’ more exotic experimental materials, whatever-the-hell it was that Gordon was ordering in to assist in rehabilitating their surrounding sea-scape. Personal deliveries came second, portioning out the mail orders; of which a not-insignificant portion was personal food stocks – Grandma still couldn’t be dissuaded from cooking, even though everyone now had more time to contribute to kitchen duties. Third was domestic consumables: toilet paper, light bulbs, cleaning supplies, and personal grooming and hygiene products – including so much deodorant. And then maintenance supplies; raw materials for production of the custom parts necessary for the maintenance of the Thunderbirds, parts for maintenance for the Villa and auxiliary buildings.
It was a comfortable routine, and one that Scott enjoyed, especially dealing with the maintenance supplies. Checking the packing slip against their internal register of projected deliveries, using the pallet-bot to deposit the large crates and bins at the appropriate areas, before unpacking the individual crates, confirming the itemised stock within, and storing them in the appropriate locations, as he updated the warehousing inventory.
It was a simple – and satisfying – job.
Today there was an extra crate. A large roughly square crate, one and one half to two metres in every dimension and solidly built. Scott frowned at it. There was no sender’s ident, and the anonymous holographic label implanted in the rough-hewn, tightly-spaced wooden slats simply read ‘International Rescue’.
Nothing was unaccounted for on the projected deliveries. There was nothing left over from previous runs, nothing on back order.
Scott checked Virgil’s collection register. This package had been collected from their mail facility at Tracy Industries Headquarters, the security assessment on this crate was attached. Nothing untoward. No radiation, no explosive compounds, no biological matter …
Thunderbird Two’s pod sensors hadn’t detected a threat, either.
“What is it?”
Scott started, jumping as the Mechanic materialised beside him, looking between Scott and the crate curiously.
A slight hesitation – he still hadn’t fully overcome his distrust of the other man, nor had the Mechanic suddenly taken a liking to him – and he explained the situation.
“Only one way to find out. If all the scans are clear.”
Scott waved his tablet at the man, who, after a second, took it, and considered the record trail. He handed the tablet back, and summoned two of his ‘scorpion’ mechas to the crate.
“Better blow them up, than us, if your scans are wrong,” was the response to Scott’s raised eyebrow.
Scott agreed without hesitation. The crate was in a secure section of the hangars, there was no danger to any of their equipment – they had learnt that the hard way, soon after Jeff had … gone on sabbatical. The two men backed off a respectful distance, and watched as the two machines surged forward, powerful pinchers forcing themselves under the lid and prising it up, before skittering around the crate to settle either side of it, like guardians.
The back of the lid was hinged, and a holographic sign projected against the rough and splintery wood. ‘A gift. From a friend.’
The two men approached cautiously. And stared in shock at what lay on the straw at the bottom of the crate.
The Hood, bound hand and foot – hands behind his back – lay half curled with in the space. His naked body bruised and bloody, the slight rise and fall of his chest the only sign the man was alive.
Scott Tracy – Commander of International Rescue, First Responder, Qualified Paramedic, and Survivor of a POW Camp – swallowed his bile as he took in the sight of the bloody and weeping bandage around the man’s head that ineffectively protected what he knew would be the bloody and empty socket where the cybernetic eye had been.
Mutely Scott and the Mechanic stared at each other, both searching for answers the other didn’t have.
How were they ever going to explain this?

Febuwhump Day 21 “Unresponsive”.
Whoops. I totally missed posting this one on the date. Other important dates I have missed include my mothers, and my niece's birthdays. Oh well, off to the dog house!
The standard disclaimers, I do not own Thunderbirds, either the Original Series, the Movies (both Supermarionation and Live Action), or the Thunderbirds Are Go Series. (Although I do own copies on DVD.)
I do not do this for money, but for my own (in)sanity and entertainment.

Starting an e-commerce business can be an exciting venture with immense potential. However, with the opportunities come challenges and uncertainties. Before diving into the world of online retail, it’s crucial to plan carefully and set a solid foundation. Here are some essential tips to consider before launching your e-commerce business:
1. Conduct Market Research
Understanding the market is fundamental to any successful business. Start by identifying your target audience and analyzing competitors. Research trends, customer preferences, and potential gaps in the market. Tools like Google Trends, social media analytics, and industry reports can provide valuable insights. This research will help you tailor your products or services to meet market demands and differentiate yourself from competitors.
2. Define Your Business Model
E-commerce offers various business models, such as B2C (Business to Consumer), B2B (Business to Business), C2C (Consumer to Consumer), and subscription-based models. Determine which model aligns with your goals and resources. Each model has its own set of challenges and requirements, so choose one that best fits your product or service and target market.
3. Create a Solid Business Plan
A comprehensive business plan serves as a roadmap for your e-commerce venture. Outline your business goals, strategies, target audience, marketing plan, financial projections, and operational plan. This document will not only guide your efforts but also help secure funding if needed. A clear plan can keep you focused and organized as you navigate the complexities of launching and running an e-commerce business.
4. Choose the Right E-Commerce Platform
Selecting the right e-commerce platform is crucial for the success of your online store. Popular platforms like Shopify, WooCommerce, Magento, and BigCommerce each offer unique features and capabilities. Consider factors such as ease of use, scalability, customization options, payment gateways, and integration with other tools. The platform should align with your business needs and provide a user-friendly experience for both you and your customers.
5. Develop a User-Friendly Website
Your website is the face of your e-commerce business. Ensure it’s designed to be user-friendly, visually appealing, and optimized for mobile devices. A clean, intuitive layout with easy navigation will enhance the shopping experience and reduce cart abandonment rates. Focus on high-quality images, detailed product descriptions, and a seamless checkout process. Additionally, implement search engine optimization (SEO) strategies to improve your site’s visibility in search engines.
6. Implement Secure Payment Processing
Security is a top priority in e-commerce. Customers need to trust that their payment information is safe. Choose a reputable payment gateway and ensure your website uses SSL certificates to encrypt data. Additionally, offer multiple payment options, including credit/debit cards, digital wallets, and other payment methods that are popular with your target audience.
7. Plan Your Logistics and Supply Chain
Efficient logistics and supply chain management are vital for e-commerce success. Develop a strategy for inventory management, warehousing, and shipping. Decide whether you’ll handle fulfillment in-house or partner with third-party logistics providers. Consider shipping options, delivery times, and costs. A smooth and reliable fulfillment process can significantly impact customer satisfaction and repeat business.
8. Craft a Marketing Strategy
Effective marketing is essential to drive traffic and sales to your e-commerce store. Develop a multi-channel marketing strategy that includes social media, email marketing, content marketing, and paid advertising. Create engaging content, run promotions, and leverage social media platforms to build brand awareness and attract customers. Monitor and analyze the performance of your marketing efforts to refine your strategies over time.
9. Focus on Customer Service
Exceptional customer service can set your e-commerce business apart from competitors. Provide multiple channels for customer support, such as live chat, email, and phone. Ensure timely responses to inquiries and resolve issues promptly. Building strong customer relationships and encouraging feedback can enhance customer loyalty and drive positive reviews.
10. Monitor and Adapt
The e-commerce landscape is constantly evolving. Regularly review your business performance, track key metrics, and gather customer feedback. Stay informed about industry trends and technological advancements. Be prepared to adapt your strategies and operations based on insights and changes in the market.

Figure collecting: Cyno from Genshin Impact by GHS
So straight up, I know nothing about the character or the game, but I'm an absolute sucker for Anubis imagery (thanks Yu-Gi-Oh!) so we'll just pretend he's an original character and call it a day : )
He's gorgeous for sure. I love the twisting pose, the little cropped shrug, and the tanned skin (they had a pale skin option too... but he'd look weird pale, no?) against the silvery blond hair.
This is my second lewd male GHS resin, and they've certainly improved their packaging and overall product quality. The foam packaging was velcro strapped together and everything stayed in the box properly until opened. All the parts (arms, head, weapon, tailio) slotted together easily. Plus as a bonus he came with a total of 4 man bits to choose from - currently I have him in a thong with a peekaboo from the other side, but there's even a soft silicone option, which I might end up swapping in.
And yes there's a bit of damage at the base but it's a clean break so a bit of glue will fix it - and I'll take a broken base over a broken figure any day.
That should be it as far as figures this year! I have items warehoused but nothing else slated for delivery at this time...

CATALYST JOURNAL
While the uptick in strike activity in 2021 is heartening, its influence should not be exaggerated. The number and extent of job actions was noticeable but still very small by historical standards, and union density continued to decline. A significant labor upsurge might be in the works, but it is not in evidence yet.
In the early days of the coronavirus pandemic, Pope Francis spoke movingly of the workers keeping the world turning in dark times:
People who do not appear in newspaper and magazine headlines or on the latest television show, yet in these very days are surely shaping the decisive events of our history. Doctors, nurses, storekeepers and supermarket workers, cleaning personnel, caregivers, transport workers, men and women working to provide essential services and public safety, volunteers, priests, men and women religious, and so very many others. They understood that no one is saved alone.1
These workers have done everything we’ve asked of them and more. They have been through hell, particularly those who have risked their health and well-being to care for the sick, educate the young, feed the hungry, and deliver the things the rest of us need to get through this period of grinding uncertainty. Employers, politicians, and talking heads have lauded them as essential workers, but the stark gap between the praise and the grim realities of working life in the United States — which was already miserable for millions before the pandemic — have pushed many to the breaking point. Indeed, record numbers of American workers have quit their jobs in what the media has dubbed the Great Resignation. According to the US Labor Department, 4.5 million workers voluntarily left their jobs in November 2021. The number of monthly quits has exceeded three million since August 2020, and the trend shows no sign of slowing down.2 Job switchers span the employment ladder, but turnover has been largely concentrated in the low-wage service sector, where workers are taking advantage of the very tight labor market to get a better deal for themselves. According to data from the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta, workers with high school diplomas are currently enjoying a faster rate of wage growth than workers with bachelor’s degrees, a remarkable situation that has not occurred in decades.3
Worker discontent is not only finding expression in the form of quitting and job switching. In 2021, we witnessed a modest increase in the frequency and visibility of collective action in the workplace. Tens of thousands of workers, union and nonunion alike, challenged employers through protests and strikes across sectors and in many different geographical regions. Workers in health care and social assistance, education, and transportation and warehousing led the way, but they were joined by workers in hotels and food services, manufacturing, and other industries. Protests and strikes tended to be concentrated in states where labor is relatively stronger, namely California, New York, and Illinois, but some states with low union density, like North Carolina, saw an uptick in labor action, too. Pay increases were easily the most common demand, but health and safety, staffing, and COVID-19 protocols were high on the agenda as well.
The year 2021 was less a strike wave than a strike ripple, and it has not yet resulted in any appreciable increase in unionization. A few trends stand out. The first is that labor protest and strike action were heavily concentrated among unionized groups of workers. Unionized groups of workers accounted for nearly 95% of all estimated participants in labor protests and more than 98% of all estimated participants in strikes. The second is that protests and strikes were concentrated by industry — namely health care and education, which together accounted for roughly 60% of all labor actions. Finally, protests and strikes were heavily concentrated geographically. Just three states with relatively high levels of union density — California, New York, and Illinois — accounted for more than half the total estimated participants in protests and strikes. In short, collective workplace action is by and large taking place where organized labor still retains residual sources of strength. In this context, spreading protest and strike action beyond its current industrial and regional confines depends on unionization in new places.
Conditions conducive to labor action — rising inflation, pandemic-related pressures, and a tight labor market — are likely to persist into 2022, and the Biden administration’s National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) has been meaningfully supportive of worker organizing. US labor is probably not on the verge of a historic breakthrough, but in this context, workers may have an opportunity to make modest material and organizational gains.
Making new organizational gains is critical to the fortunes of the labor movement and the reviving US left. The vast majority of the workers involved in strikes and labor protests last year were already members of unions, not unorganized workers looking to unionize. This is why it is so concerning that last year’s uptick in labor action occurred amid a further decline in union density in 2021. The overall rate of union membership stands at 10.3% of the total labor force, while the total number of union members, just over fourteen million in 2021, continues its long decline.4 While some have argued that treating union density as the key measure of labor’s strength is a mistake, it seems clear that, at least in the US context, where union density and union coverage almost entirely overlap, it does provide an effective measurement of working-class power.5
Boosting the level of union density should therefore be among the leading priorities of progressives and socialists in the United States. As the power resources school of welfare state scholars has long argued, the relative strength of the labor movement and its affiliated political parties has been the single most important factor shaping welfare state development over time and across countries. Here in the United States, where we have never had a nationwide social democratic party aligned with a strong labor movement, the weakness of working-class organization is clearly reflected in the fragmentation and stinginess of our welfare state. The state-level wave of attacks on organized labor that began in 2010 have made it that much harder for unions to defend working-class interests and reduce inequality. But the fact that they were able to meaningfully mitigate the growth of inequality, even during the period of neoliberal retrenchment, shows that rebuilding the labor movement needs to be a chief priority of any progressive political agenda.6 The Biden administration’s pro-union stance suggests it understands this. But if it’s unable to act decisively to boost union membership, all the pro-union rhetoric it can muster will ultimately amount to little.
TRACKING LABOR ACTION
Researchers at the Cornell University School of Industrial and Labor Relations (ILR) began documenting strikes and labor protests in late 2020. Their ILR Labor Action Tracker provides a database of workplace conflict across the United States, based on information collected from government sources, news reports, organizational press releases, and social media. It counts both strikes and labor protests as “events” but distinguishes between the two. The major distinction between strikes and labor protests, according to this methodology, is whether the workers involved in the event stopped work. If they did, the event is defined as a strike; if they did not, it is defined as a labor protest. The Labor Action Tracker also collects data on a number of additional variables, including employer, labor organization (if applicable), local labor organization (if applicable), industry, approximate number of participants, worker demands, and more.7
ACTION TYPES
In 2021, there were 786 events with 257,086 estimated participants.8 Over 60% of the events were labor protests, while less than 40% were strikes (there was one recorded lockout). Roughly one-third of the estimated number of workers participated in labor protests, while roughly two-thirds participated in strikes. Further, the average number of estimated workers per labor protest (188) was significantly smaller than the average number of estimated workers per strike (553, see Table 1 for details).
DURATION
Neither labor protests nor strikes tended to last very long, which tracks with the generally sharp decline in strike duration in recent decades.9 Labor protests in particular were very short affairs. Of the labor protests with a start and end date, 96% lasted for just one day or less. Strikes also tended to have a short duration, but they typically did not end as quickly as protests. Of the strikes with a start and end date, one-third lasted for one day or less. Roughly two-thirds of strikes (68%) ended within a week, and over 90% ended within thirty days. One strike stands out for its unusually long duration: a 701-day strike by United Auto Workers (UAW) members against a metallurgical company in Pennsylvania, which began in September 2019 and ended in August 2021.
INDUSTRIES
An informed observer will not be surprised by which industries saw the largest number of labor action events (Table 2). The leading two industries by far were health care and social assistance and education, which are both highly unionized and have been subjected to enormous pressures during the pandemic. Together, they accounted for nearly 40% of the total labor protests and strikes. These industries also comprised over 60% of the overall number of estimated labor action participants — health care with 41.5% of the estimated participants, education with 18.8%. The overrepresentation of health care and education workers becomes even starker when we compare this to their employment shares in the overall labor force. In 2020, these two industries accounted for 16.3% of total nonfarm employment — health care with a 13.8% share and education with 2.3%.10 Put another way, the share of health care workers in 2021 labor actions was roughly three times larger than their share in the nonfarm labor force, while the share of education workers was more than eight times as large.
These two pace-setting industries were followed by a second tier of industries including transportation and warehousing, accommodation and food services, and manufacturing. It is not surprising to see these listed among the most turbulent industries, as they contain a mix of highly unionized employers and nonunion employers that have become a major focus of labor organizing activity, namely Amazon — the most frequently targeted employer, with twelve total labor actions — which was the target of twice as many labor actions as McDonald’s, the second-most targeted employer.
The industrial distribution of labor protests generally follows the overall distribution of labor action, with the notable exception of manufacturing, which saw far more strikes than protests. While the health care industry did not experience the largest number of strikes, it accounts for more than half of estimated strike participants (53%). Workers in education (12.4%) and manufacturing (16%) also accounted for outsize shares of the estimated number of participants.

Hour Of Joy Death Toll
Someone has finally counted all the dead bodies shown during the Hour of Joy Tape; In total, there are 264 confirmed deaths during the HOJ. While that's already insanely high and raises tons of questions (and further supports some theories), I fully believe the true death toll is even more.
The tape only shows a handful of locations, cutting all around and jumping forward to fit the list of the full hour into a 2 minute segment; Lobby, Game Station, a Train tunnel (there are multiple), two different backroom/tunnels/hallways, Playcare overview (only one specific angle), School, Make a Toy, the Walkways to Poppy's room. Furthermore, we only see people dressed as either scientists and researchers, suited business people, and a few hard hats.
We never see any of the actual production lines, never see any of the warehousing areas, never see any of the loading docks or shipping areas that we know exist (both because of the Huggy escape attempt tape and basic logic). Not only that, think about all the backrooms and hallways and tunnels you go through in just the first three chapters; Most of them still have blood splattered around, think how many got partially cleaned up when they moved to bodies (we know they cleaned up some due to how many bloody bodies in the HOJ tape are seen in areas that are fairly clean when we go to them).
Combine that with the fact that Playtime Co is basically the combination Hasbro and Disney in their universe, and the view of the factory we get during the news segment about the CatNap recall shows it as a enormous building stretching on beyond sight, with hundreds of smoke plumes. There's got to be at least multiple factories worth of production lines and work floors in there. It's gotta be at least as big as that nearly hundred Acre big Boeing plant; And that's just the above ground levels! Even with the automation (which we don't know for certain how much there is as make a friend looks to be a one off gimmick for the tours) we're talking thousands of factory line workers alone!
Factor in all the crazy sprawl going on, all the nooks and crannies, and the limitations on the locations and sheer number of cameras such a place would realistically have before saying "screw it, no on is robbing hallway #28-c without going through a dozen cams before that so no need for another useless angle".
Everyone, bar the player who wasn't there, died. And, remember the tour groups because the factory tours never stopped. And, all the people going there to try and adopt a kid at Playcare like the parents Stella talks too (they aren't factory employees, they're too surprised by everything). AND ALL THE KIDS! Because, even if the theory that the Prototype took them down with him to the depths is true, there's no way they all survived, no way none died during the Hour of Joy.
And I don't believe that he spared or "saved" any of the kids, Poppy was too broken up about how not even the innocent were spared and the Project Playtime has what's obviously the Prototype tell the monsters to spare literally no one 1. To feed the other experiments and 2. Because otherwise they'll make more experiments (ie, turn more kids into them. Since it's already alluded to that the Prototype had some way of taking over the minds of the other experiments to at least coordinate the HOJ, and he is a Cult leader level manipulator, it's within reason he'd convince the others that there's no way to save the kids or let them go and that they could only be "saved" by being killed before getting turned). Home Sweet Home has literally hundreds of beds, not including the Cradle rooms! And it's heavily implied they were packed to the point no one noticed when kids disappeared unless it was an actual adoption (probably rare but common enough not to draw too much suspicion) or one of the fake adoption/chosen going away ceremonies.
So, the population of at least a small town, including a full-fledged orphanage town, all disappeared one day, and no one looked in the building? Not one person got past the main entrance or through any loading docks to see anything?
I fully believe that Playtime had big financial backers behind the Bigger Bodies Initiative; Ones with even more desire for the BBI results than just the faint desire for immortality and resurrecting the dead that the original Poppy experiments started out as. Those experiments almost drove the company into financial ruin, and that was just drowning and reviving rats. Think about the experiments we see; Think about the BBI's justification anyway! Would it really make sense to put a bunch of Huggy's on a factory line when you got automated toy makers already? And why would literally any of them need fangs or the ability to crush heads with a single punch!?!
My bet is, once the original experiments started working enough for someone like Laith to notice and think it's not crazy enough to not try and get investors interested in funding immortality and resurrection experiments, they started going further until even that well started to run dry. Hence, Bigger Bodies, but not for the reasons we're lead to believe; I doubt the toy workforce idea was ever serious, frankly I doubt even Dr. Sawyer thought it was (though it would be funny and be in character for him to not realize he's working on a weapon and genuinely thinking he's making toy slaves). The only reason to go the way BBI went, to create such dangerous experiments, is if you want to end up with weapons and killing machines; Ones that are very stealthy.
If they had funding from someone who had the money to bail them out and fund a living toy weapons program, said person would definitely have the resources to at least lockdown the factory to keep their secrets.

Jacket
A/N: I kinda want to write a few oneshots for this au, don't know how it'll go.
Inverted AU:au where Kevin and Ben are cousins on a road trip, Kevin gets the watch , Ben is the anodite and Gwen is the emo girl they meet in an arcade I.e the osmosian
---------------------------------------------------------
" Hey so I tracked down the forever nights to the warehou....... uh Gwen?" Ben asked asked as he slid into the passenger seat, pointing his thumb backward.
" what?" she asked nonchalantly as she revved up the engine, the sound roaring through his neighborhood.
The brunet had expressed his neighbors complains that came to him about the noise whenever she was in the community, which was a lot since they began working together, but she couldn't care less. For some reason , it just brought a smile to her face knowing it hurt the rich uptight ears.
" kevin? why is he in a straight jacket?" Ben eyed his cousin who sat in the backseat quietly with a scowl on his face.
" oh that? yeah he's not allowed in my car otherwise. I'm sick of cleaning up his chili fry stains on the seats and the windows. So he either wears that thing in the car or he's walking"
"hmm, makes sense" Ben replied as he turned to face the window and Gwen sped off.
" I cannot believe you guys, especially you, my own cousin. My blood, my frie..." kevin yelled.
Gwen took a sharp turn at the corner, causing the omnitrix bearer to fall sideways, cutting off his little rant.
" Hey! you did that on purpose Levin!" he shrieked.
She smirked as she watched him squirm on the seat trying to get up again. She might be in a truce with the cousins for now, but that didn't mean she was completely over them ditching her in the null void as a kid.
" why do you even have a straight jacket anyway? " the dark haired boy asked as he struggled.
"they said the white really brings out the red in my hair" she shrugged her lips turning up into a sassy smile. It was from the time she at the solitary confinement for a bit in the null void, punishment for not mining in the mines and instead causing a ruckus with the other criminals. She wondered if the Tennysons knew about what their precious plumbers were up to in the null void. It was unlikely, because even though she wasn't their biggest fan, she knew they wouldn't truly stand for treating prisoners that way. Atleast that what she hoped for anyway.
" hey Gwen , um.. as much as I'm enjoying this, I don't think it's a good idea to have Kevin in something he can't reach for the watch in case of an emergency." Ben interrupted slowly.
" and I don't like the idea of a messy car"
" how about I put some gloves on him, and I'll make sure he washes his hands before getting in?" He tried to reason. She was their only mode of transport and was the only one who could get enough inside tips to help them figure out what happened to their grandpa. They couldn't risk upsetting her.
She sighed. " fine , but if I see one little stain, ONE, I'm putting you in one of those jackets too."
Ben smiled, " deal"
It took a while , but Kevin did eventually manage to sit up again. Unfortunately for him, it was the same time the osmosian decided to hit the brakes at a red light, causing him to tumble back down again.

Kitting Services and Warehousing
Kitting and warehousing & distribution are both important components of supply chain management, and they are closely linked.
Kitting services refer to the assembling of individual items or components into a single kit or package. This can be done for a variety of reasons, such as simplifying inventory management, improving efficiency, or meeting specific customer needs. Kitting can be done at various stages of the supply chain, including at the manufacturing facility, at a distribution center, or even at the retail store level.
Warehousing & distribution, on the other hand, refer to the storage and management of goods and materials. Warehouses are used to store raw materials, finished goods, and everything in between, and they are essential for maintaining a smooth and efficient supply chain. Warehousing & distribution can also be used for kitting, as they provide a centralized location for assembling and storing kits before they are shipped out to customers.
Kitting and warehousing are linked in that warehouses are often used for kitting, and kitting is an important component of supply chain management that can help improve efficiency and customer satisfaction.
Why Go for Kitting Services?
Kitting services are used in supply chain management where individual items or components are bundled together as a single kit or package.
Some of the reasons for kitting include:
Improved Efficiency: Kitting can help to streamline the production and assembly processes by reducing the number of individual items that need to be handled and assembled separately. This helps save time and labor costs exorbitantly.
Better Inventory Management: Kitting can help to simplify inventory management by reducing the number of SKUs that need to be tracked. Instead of tracking individual components, the entire kit can be tracked as a single SKU, which can simplify the inventory process.
Customisation: Kitting can also be used to create customized products or packages that meet specific customer needs. By bundling together different components, companies can offer unique products and services that stand out from competitors.
Cost Savings: Kitting can help to reduce transportation costs by consolidating multiple items into a single package. This can also reduce packaging costs and storage costs.
Improved Quality Control: Kitting can help to improve quality control by reducing the risk of errors and ensuring that all components are present and accounted for.
Types of Kitting Services
There are several types of kitting, including:
Assembly kitting: This involves assembling different parts and components into a final product. For example, a company might assemble electronic components into a kit for a specific type of circuit board.
Maintenance kitting: This involves creating kits of spare parts and materials for maintenance tasks, such as repairing equipment or fixing machinery.
Retail kitting: This involves creating kits for sale to consumers, such as a makeup kit or a DIY home repair kit.
Shipping kitting: This involves creating kits for shipping purposes, such as packing boxes with all the necessary items for a particular order or project.
Production kitting: This involves creating kits for use in the manufacturing process, such as providing workers with all the necessary tools and components for a particular stage of production.
Custom kitting: This involves creating unique kits for specific projects or customers, tailored to their individual needs and requirements.
Kitting Services Make Sense for Which Products?
Kitting services can make sense for a wide range of items, including:
Electronic products: Kitting can be used to bundle electronic products such as computer components, routers, and smartphones, as well as accessories like chargers, cables, and cases.
Automotive products: Kitting can be used to bundle automotive products such as brake pads, oil filters, and spark plugs, as well as kits for vehicle maintenance or repair.
Medical products: Kitting can be used to bundle medical products such as surgical instruments, diagnostic equipment, and medical devices.
Manufacturing products: Kitting can be used to bundle manufacturing products such as bolts, nuts, washers, and other fasteners.
Food and beverage products: Kitting can be used to bundle food and beverage products such as meal kits, cocktail kits, or snack packs.
Kitting services can be used for a wide range of products and industries, depending on the specific needs of the company and its customers.
Criteria to be Met by the Products to be Put Together as a Kit
Several criteria need to be considered when determining which items can be put together as a kit to create a cohesive and successful kit that meets customer needs and business objectives.
These include:
Compatibility: The items being put together should be compatible with each other and should not damage or interfere with each other's functionality.
Size and weight: The items being put together in a kit should be of similar size and weight to ensure that they can be packaged together efficiently and without causing any damage.
Demand: The items to be put together should have a similar level of demand to ensure that the kit can be produced and sold cost-effectively.
Availability: The items in the kit should be readily available and accessible to ensure that the kit can be assembled and shipped out promptly.
Packaging: The items should be able to be packaged efficiently and safely to ensure that the kit arrives intact and undamaged.
What to Look for in a Warehouse While Opting for Kitting?
When it comes to kitting, the following are some things to look for in a warehouse:
Space: The warehouse should have adequate space to accommodate the kitting process, including space for assembly, storage, and packaging.
Equipment: The equipment in the warehouse must necessarily support the kitting process, such as assembly tables, packaging machines, and conveyor belts.
Inventory management: The warehouse should have a robust inventory management system to ensure that all components are accounted for and tracked throughout the kitting process.
Quality control: There must be a quality control process in place in the warehouse to ensure that all kits meet the required standards and specifications.
Security: The warehouse must have adequate security measures in place to protect the components and the finished kits from theft or damage.
Staffing: The warehouse should boast a well-trained and knowledgeable staff to handle the kitting process, including assembly, packaging, and shipping.
Location: The warehouse should be located in a convenient and accessible location to ensure that the kits can be shipped out to customers quickly and efficiently
Experience: The warehouse must have many years of experience with kitting services. An experienced warehouse knows what exactly is needed and how quickly & efficiently.
Software & Integration: The warehouse must have advanced technology to monitor sales and ensure that fulfillment occurs instantly. All the special instructions have to be met. Also, the warehouse must have powerful software to easily and efficiently transfer the data.
