So my post about how you should draw (YOU SHOULD DRAW!) blew up beyond any precedent since my return to tumblr and someone in the FRANKLY KIND OF TERRIFYING NUMBER OF REBLOGS mentioned downloading a free DAW to make music and that got me thinking,
HOBBY SOFTWARE MEGAPOST GO
All of the below software is free to use, and most of it is Open Source (which is its own thing I recommend learning about, its entire existence and success gives me hope for humanity) so GO GET SOME TOOLS! Make things like nobody's watching and then SHOW IT TO THEM ANYWAY! Or don't! Even if you hide your work from the world (lord knows I do!!!) you will have created something! And it feels amazing to create something!
VISUAL ARTS:
Inkscape: Adobe Illustrator replacement, pretty solid if a bit quirky.
Krita: Painting software, if anything slightly overpowered and sometimes more complicated than you want, but can do bloody anything including advanced color management. A wonderful tool.
Blender: You have probably heard it is super hard to use. This is CONDITIONALLY true. Because the developers are working day and night to improve everything about it it's always getting better and now like, 80% of the hardness is just because 3D is hard. Aside: Blender Grease Pencil - A subsystem in Blender is concerned with 2D animation and it is. Surprisingly good. Some annoying conventions but totally possible to literally make professional traditional 2D animation.
MUSIC:
LMMS: A free and open source DAW that can do a lot, except use most modern VST plugins. The practical upshot of this is that if you are just starting out with music it is totally serviceable but over time you might start to long for something with the ability to load hella plugins. (I'm currently trying out Reaper which has a long free trial and is technically nagware after that point...)
PlugData: You GOTTA TRY THIS, it's not mentally for everyone (not HARD exactly, just WEIRD) but if your brain works well with this kind of flow graph stuff it's a magical playground of music. (If you have heard of PureData, PlugData is based on it but has a lot of nice graphical upgrades and can work as a VST if you have a proper DAW)
Surge XT: A big ol' synthesizer plugin that also can run standalone and take midi input so you can technically use it to make music even if you don't have a DAW. If planning notes ahead of time sounds intimidating, but you can get your hands on a midi piano controller, this might actually be a great way to start out playing with music on your computer!
Bespoke Synth: Another open source DAW, but this one is... sort of exploded? Like PlugData you patch things together with cables but it has a wild electrified aesthetic and it can do piano rolls. Fun though!
GAME DEV:
Yeah that's right, game dev. You ABSOLUTELY can make video games with no experience or ability to code. I actually recommend video games as a way to learn how to code because the dopamine hits from making a character bumble around on a screen are enormously bigger than like. Calculating pi or something boring like that. ANYWAY:
Twine: Twine is what I might describe as sort of a zero-barrier game dev tool because you're literally writing a story except you can make it branch. It has programming features but you can sort of pick them up as you go. Lowest possible barrier to entry, especially if you write!
Godot: I use this engine all the time! It's got great tutorials all over the internet and is 100% FREE AND ALWAYS WILL BE. Technically there are more Unity tutorials out there, but Godot has plenty enough to learn how to do things. It's also SUPER LIGHTWEIGHT so you won't spend your precious hobby time waiting for the engine to load. There are absolutely successful games made with this but I think the best thing about it is that the shallow end of the learning curve is PRETTY OK ACTUALLY.

Street Fighter 6 Training Journal Part 1
Jun 17th
Well I installed the game, booted it up and spent the next like couple minutes fighting with the Capcom ID thing. Got that sorted out only to find that the online wasn't working so I went into World Tour, it's alright unfortunately I can't enjoy it that much due to graphic limits. Also, after completing the first chapter of the World Tour, I'm even more of a fan of Luke. Sure, he's kind of a dude bro but he cares and is trying. What a great way to have players get to know your new character that previously has been despised by the fanbase. ah the joys of being so bad, I forgot what it was like to sit on the grid for hours doing the same motions over and over again praying for them to connect because I have no idea why they do or don't or how they do.
Jun 18th
Decided to try out the character trials for the characters I’m interested in(Jamie, Luke, Chun, Guile). Could only get to 9 on Jamie Could only get to 7 on Luke Could only get to like 5 or something with Guile where I had to do a standing flashkick could only get to 4 or 5 with Chun. decided to back out of the trials and learn a bit more about Jamie in training mode after watching his character tutorial. Figured out that his game play is pretty simple. Learned my pokes and anti air as well as basic baby combos. Gonna play randoms or friends tomorrow online. Also decided to curb the drive rush mechanic till I get a better handle on my character, will probably bite me in the ass but I think it'll make learning the game less daunting for me.
Jun 19th
Finally got some time to play, played the arcade mode for Jamie and got the basic 2mk > 236 mp > 6K > 6K rekka drink down pretty consistently, well on player 1 side. Next is player 2 side. Just gotta keep reminding myself, Rome wasn't built in a day and I really want to get better at Street Fighter. I also learned that my rig can't handle ryu's stage. My frame rate tanks through the whole match, sucks cause his is one of my favorites, but can't do anything about it till I get a new pc.
Jun 27th
Jeez, it's been a while since I could play sf6. So in my short 2 hour lab session I learned: Jamie's dp has to hit pretty low cause if the first kick doesn't land he doesn't launch I can anti air with 2KK If I air to air with any button, I can dp after for extra damage. 2lp 2lp 2mp is harder than I thought and not reliable for me 5hp has to be canceled early The only way I've found to combo into H236 is 2hp(without any punish or crush factors that is) I'm comfortable doing my bnb on p2 side now.
Jun 29th
After watching Sajam's latest video on spacing/whiff punishing I hopped into the lab to practice whiff punishing and after seeing what Sajam showed with Jamie for a second or two I wanted to see what I could get off 5HK. Turns out I can get 236HP off 5HK, which can lead to bnb. After that, I started practicing jump ins. And learned that j.mk>2mk won't combo into 236HP, but j.mk>5mk will. Eventually, I started practicing punish combos thanks to the built-in templates in training mode. I believe it was around this time that dno showed up and called me crazy for practicing on p2 side to start. Anyway, I was practicing the punish combo starting with 5HK trying to see if I could get 2 drinks, I couldn't. Started tossing supers into the idea. 5hk>6Hk>super. After doing this with Jamie's breakin' super, I tried his lvl3. Learned the timing for when to input after lvl 3 to continue combo. -realization- This is just trial 9 that I'm stuck on with Jamie. Goes into trials to confirm Yup Tries to complete trial Can't link shit Wtf lol. Also, I can hear you thinking, "Danny, this is an awful lot of training mode. Why not go online?" Well, because a lot of the stages completely devour my frames, and I don't like looking at the grid any more than I have to... So once I get my new PC imma be fighting!
Jul 5th
After upgrading and installing again I played online and did my placements. They went about as well as expected honestly but that's okay.
Jul 6th
After reflecting a bunch on the matches I played last night, as painful as it was, I realized a few things. 1. I need to not worry about everyone else. My toxic trait is constantly, and I mean constantly, comparing myself to others. Friends, family, other players, etc. 2. I realized that I was accidentally getting OD moves for punishes instead of supers cause I was hitting 2 punches or 2 kicks. 3. I'm pretty good at recognizing when I can take a sip with Jamie in neutral. (Though this is mostly because players my rank aren't as aggressive) 4. I can get full stacks with Jamie fairly often(again, cause of the rank), but don't do anything really with it except switch up my rekka combo. 5. I probably rely on Jamie's 5mk, 2mk, and sweep target combo too much.
Jul 10th
So yesterday, I played more online. Made it to Iron 3, and had a great time. The only characters I had trouble with were Lilly and Gief(modern). I don't think I won a match against any of them I came across. However, that was because of me messing up, and I recognized where I did. All the top tier chars I played, I was able to hold my own against cause they weren't being as oppressive as I see higher elo. Also, they always 1 and done me every Ken, dj, and juri once they one the first match, gone to the aether lol. The matches I played to completion were fantastic. I practiced my anti airs and recognized when to use them more. I punished with supers more. I was getting better at pushing my advantage when I had it. Two final thoughts 1. I started actually using Jamie's divekick and it's been working out pretty well for me. I’ve been using it like I did Saberwulf's more for mobility, reaching the ground faster for punishes and side swapping. 2. Capcom really does send Manon's after you if you get a win streak lmao

Game Blondes Crystal Clear Nuzlocke Part 2: A Shining Chance!
“Hey I’m blonde!”
“…I’m also blonde.”
“AND WE’RE THE GAME BLONDES!!”
(Game Blondes Logo by @game-overture)
“Welcome back! So last time on Game Blondes we started our freeroam Crystal Clear Nuzlocke, our rat died in our first battle but we got a lot of other pokemon to replace it, fought a dude with a Shiny Ponyta and made our way halfway across Johto to fuck around. Now we’re gonna go check out Goldenrod since the dude with the Ponyta mentioned it and see if we can start nailing down some badges.”
“Okay so just a note about this game, seems like the trainer battles scale to your badges but the wild pokemon stay around the level they would be… considering the Hoothoot and Psyduck you caught last episode were in the early teens and you still have zero badges.” Cynthia pondered.
“So technically I could just run into a field way down the line and catch something super powerful and ram through the whole game?”
“Well theoretically, as long as you could manage to catch it and manage to live with yourself for cheesing the game that represents my life’s work and career.”
“…fine, fine. Spoilsport…” Samus huffed. “Anyway, I’m making my way down from Ecruteak to Goldenrod, getting a few levels on Danny that Gastly from this guy with four Voltorbs that can’t even touch him. Gonna see if we can find that restaurant the DOOM guy mentioned and if not I’ll see if I can get a gym badge or something. Got a few levels on everyone from all the trainers on this route and got the TM for Rollout, that’s a fun move.”
“You won’t think so later…” Cynthia snickered.
“Well we’re in Goldenrod… shit this is Whitney’s town!?”
“Yup, welcome to Rolloutville, population you.”
“Should we save this gym for last for the memes? I mean that’d be an epic final battle.”
“I’m game, anything to put off going against that crazy cow lady…” Samus grumbled as she searched the town. “Well the train’s here so I can get to Saffron and Kanto, it’d be funny if I got Sabrina for my first badge, bet it’d piss her off to get beaten by a level 10 Gastly.” She chuckled.
“I wouldn’t tease Sabrina too much, she can beat you up without touching you…”
“I’ll hold off on it for now if only because I already have a lot to explore that I’m skipping over and Saffron is ridiculously big. At least I got a bike to travel it a bit faster. Oh and an Eevee sitting on a table, lemme take that…”
“Hang on, lemme see that Eevee real quick…” Cynthia took the controls with a grin.
-10 Minutes Later-
“HOLY SHIT IT’S SHINY! How’d you do that!?” Samus gasped.
“Weren’t you paying attention to the tutorial? Shockslayer said Gift pokemon have a higher shiny rate and the game saves before you pick them up for soft resetting, so if you get a good rhymn down you can reset a lot real quick and get a shiny.”
“That is so cool! I love you Cynthia! I got a White Eevee!”
“This counts as part of your birthday present, I’m not helping you any further.”
“Fine fine.” Samus grinned, absolutely giddy with the white fluffball. “I’m gonna name you… Norman. Cause you’re Normal-type and a smart little white fluffball and we’ve been watching The Promised Neverland lately.”
“Hopefully that’s not an omen for this Nuzlocke…”
“Ah shit is this accidentally in bad taste?” Samus winced. “Well time to go Underground and explore some more of the shops and punch some of these trainers in the throat.”
“…no wonder the Pokemon League denied your application to become a trainer.”
“Well I got a coin case and it looks like this guy is blocking the path to the other hallway so I’ll leave him alone for now, I’ve been warned that some of these guys have huge teams that can wipe me out…”
“Yeah, I read there’s a level 100 Magikarp somewhere in Kanto’s early game, so be on the lookout for steamrollers…”
“Well since I got the Coin Case might as well check out the game corner…”
“Holy crap you can just buy a Master Ball if you have enough coins! And a Lucky Egg too! I definitely don’t have enough time for that but that’s really cool!”
“And you can get some pretty cool pokemon too… too bad you already have Eevee so you can’t get any more pokemon for this town…”
“That’s fine, I’m very content with my Shiny Eevee, lemme get some coins though…”
(Mun Note: Due to Standards and Practices we are not allowed to show Samus gambling in case you’re in a country that hates it)
-One Gambling Montage Later-
“Well I doubled my coins and officially hate gambling, so let’s go check out the Department store, I’m sure there’s some cool stuff there, only got that, the Radio Tower and the gym left so almost time to be on our way.”
“Yay! Shopping spree!”
“Oh sweet, here’s the Tradeback NPC, he can evolve my guys, I’ll have to keep that in mind when I get an Upgrade for Porygon.”
“Well there it is, you just need more money…”
“Well I’ll save up and come back, I’ll let Polly stay as she is for now, can’t have my baby growing up too fast. We don’t even have a single badge yet.”
“Damn that’s right, we’ve just been derping around for an episode and a half…”
“Well we found a bunch of TMs at the shop here, keep those in mind, damn I really am broke… Just gonna stock up on balls, check the radio tower and get out of here before Whitney crushes me for dawdling in her town…”
“Oh wow, an Event Move Tutor, you can learn all those weird moves they give out at events, give it a try and get your pokemon some broken moves~” Cynthia giggled.
“Well Polly learned Barrier, Norman learned Growth and Hooters learned Night Shade, so that’s all cool.” Samus grinned. “Got me some custom pokemon~ Making my way up the tower got a point for the Password radio game thing, got a Sunny Day TM and a Pink Bow, that’s perfect for Polly, now she can feel even more like a girl and power up her Normal-type moves.”
“Your Trans Porygon is really cute.”
“Give the Amulet Coin Polly was holding to Norman now and at the top of the tower is this CHAOS guy who says he’s the new director of the station and wants to battle… here goes nothing I guess.”
“He… just has a level four Delibird… that’s not very intimidating for a custom trainer for this mod.”
“You have literally no badges and have been picking up pokemon left and right, feel like you’re a bit OP for this early in the game…” Cynthia sighed.
“Well he has a Cleffa too and I got some good money from it, guess that was worth it. And I got a Nugget, so guess that was just a money pitstop. Well that’s it for Goldenrod, couldn’t find the restaurant but time to go to the next route and catch a new pokemon…”
-A bunch of pokemon Samus has already caught later-
“Oh wow a Ditto! And right next to the Daycare too! Guess I know what this guy was there for…” Cynthia chuckled.
“FUCK it took like all my balls but I got it… why did I want this thing again?”
“Breeding?”
“Breeding!? This is a children’s game I’m not gonna make my monsters have sex, what kind of sick fucks are you trainers?”
“Well you have it now so that’s good.”
“I’ll name it “Brothel” …for obvious reasons. I really need to get some badges so these trainers stop having level like six pokemon.”
“Then pick a gym already.”
“Fine, next town we go to I’ll fight the gym there. Just getting through this forest and catching this Oddish (nicknamed Oddball). Got the Headbutt TM so I can punch trees like this is Minecraft.”
“Ahhh a Dark Souls reference last time and Minecraft now, soon we’ll be a regular mainstream Let’s Play streamer.”
“Awww man, Bulbasaur pops up here! We could’ve caught the mun if they showed up first!”
(Sad Bulbamun noises)
“This girl says Kurt knows about the Forest Guardian, so better head into town to see what that’s about… oh neat, I don’t have to wait to get Apricorn balls, this guy in Kurt’s house sells them for money.”
“And Kurt passed you off onto Professor Oak about the Forest Guardian thing… sounds like a fetch quest to me…” Cynthia sighed.
“Might as well squash some bugs for my first gym, I mean Bugs seem like a fitting start to me.”
“I mean Bug-types aren’t the most powerful but Bugsy does the best with what he can…”
“Alright Hooters, you’re a bird, you’re in charge of the bug squishing duty.”
“Well he’s got a Scyther at least, that’s cool, but he’s still no match for Hooters!”
“Wow that was quick, you and your boob-themed owl are unstoppable.”
“Well he did poison Hooters and get her down a bit, so if I’m not careful she could faint on the way back to the gym, but I did get my first badge so hopefully stuff gets more challenging from here~ One badge down, seven to go.”
“Fifteen.”
“…what?”
“Crystal Clear has both Kanto and Johto gyms in it, there are sixteen badges, you have fifteen left.”
“…well shit, I better get cracking…”
“Looks like you got a call from the Pokemon League too, they say if you’re in Johto to visit Sprout Tower to get something cool, a “FLASHy” reward… subtle and to go pay your respects in Ilex Forest, that’s probably to do with the sidequest we stumbled on earlier.”
“Well I’m starting to move up in the world, they gotta start recognizing me! Well might as well go down to this Slowpoke Well and catch something. Ooooh there’s breakable rocks here, I’ll teach Dudette Rock Smash and break one to see if I find something cool~
“OH FUCKLE, A SHUCKLE!”
“CRAP! I killed it, it gave me an Encore so I couldn’t get out of the loop… ugh, oh well, guess there’s no use crying over spilled Shuckle. Guess that’s all I can do in the Well without Strength for now… Might as well work my way back up to Violet Town and go to Sprout Tower like the League said, even if I don’t want to go in order, getting that reward would probably be good and get me some more pokemon along the way.”
“Well you killed that Zubat too, so no new pokemon on this route either.”
“WHY DOES EVERYTHING I TOUCH DIE!?”
“At least you caught that Whooper (named Whoop) in Union Cave.”
“Well Whoop de doo. A few battles later and I’m back in Violet City. I didn’t wanna do these gyms in order but I guess doing Flying-types second would be fine since I’m here anyway and have the pokemon for it…I need to get more badges to increase trainer levels so I’m not too OP right away.”
“Dudette, you’re in charge, kill these birds with one stone.”
“Well you’re the same level so I guess you’re not too overleveled, you just have a serious type advantage.” Cynthia sighed.
“Well took down his Pidgey but damn, wasn’t expecting Pidgeotto to have Mud Slap, Dudette’s in the red and her accuracy has gone to shit, better switch out. Do your best Poly! Alright! Two Psybeams and Pidgeotto is down~”
“Another badge and another call from the Pokemon League.”
“This time a warning about not watering wiggling trees, so you can probably get the watering can from that girl we saw in Goldenrod, plus a message about getting Cut from the Charcoal guy in Azalea Town and a note that Professor Elm is very generous so we should probably go back to him too.”
“Okay so we’re doing pretty good for this little neck of Johto, lemme make a list real quick of our goals.
1. Go up Sprout Tower and get the reward
2. Go back to Professor Elm and get a reward
3. Get Cut from the Charcoal dude
4. Squirt Trees
5. Talk to Professor Oak about Ilex Forest shit
6. ???
7. Profit
“Sounds about right to me, looks like we have a lot to do… NEXT TIME ON GAME BLONDES!”

KH Catch-Up: BBS FM Ventus
VEN STORY START
"Xehanort fuckin' used darkness in plain sight! I didn't notice that!"
"And that's when Xehanort was like 'ooh that's gonna be my new vessel'."
"I just realized- that's Haley Joel Osment? That's on purpose, that's on purpose isn't it. Why do you sound like Sora?"
"How did you get in my room?"
"This is really bitter sweet now."
"Why were we allowed to just leave?"
"We have a skateboard? Oh heck yeah we do."
"Wait it was Xehanort that refused Terra's Mastery?"
DWARF WOODLANDS
"Let's go follow those little peo- I mean wait no, little people's the correct term."
You're not here for our diamonds? "No I'm not playing Minecraft."
"Obviously no one can be that tall, god."
"I'm sad." "Why are you sad?" "You know whats not there?" "What?" "Cure..." "Yeah." "BUT YOU KNOW WHO HAS CURE?" -proceeds to D-Link with Aqua-
"Are we seriously playing Hide & Seek?"
"This is a wide open area and you're telling me no Unversed are here?"
"Ven, get with the program, we gotta rhyme in this world."
"Now all the Unversed are gonna show up."
"UHHHHH... that's a big boy."
CASTLE OF DREAMS
"What the fuck? Yeah you almost look like a person! What?!"
"Mhmm. Yup Terra. About that dream. Nothing bad's gonna happen."
"I wasn't expecting to be shrunk down to the size of a mouse, and then saved by a giant- oh this is pathetic."
"Now we're breaking into her room! This is someone's fetish."
"Has no one noticed I look like a human yet? I guess with talking mice a tiny human is not the weirdest thing Cinderella has seen."
He immediately buys Cure the first chance he gets.
-sees fork- "Ooh, I know what to do here."
"What does the cheese do..."
"I get to beat up a cat."
"I've done this boss fight a hundred times."
ENCHANTED DOMINION
Can you tell me why she's sleeping? "Because it's night Ven."
"Damn invisible walls, I want to be king."
"You missed a bird." "I'll get him when I'm done with these." "See?" -completely WHIFFS the finisher- "Flawless."
-walks into room with magic circles, pans camera around- "Nope. Nope not dealing with that."
"Aww no this is the Rainbow Rocket bullshit."
"I hate this. Oh look it's the end I'm not gonna get any chests but fuck it whatever."
"I'm just waiting for Maleficent to dragon me."
He got hit out of Cure after being Doom Stunned.
"OH NO. OH GOD. OH NO I NEED LEAF BRACER."
-sees spiral of doom- "Wtf is this?"
"NO, NO YOU DON'T GET TO SLEEP ME."
"Aqua! =D"
"Can we just talk about the fact that Ven took the presence of a nightmare being in his room very well?"
"Welp time to go to the Keyblade Graveyard. I know what this is now, it's not just Land Before Time meets Chernobog to me."
KEYBLADE GRAVEYARD
-Vanitas summons keyblade- "Oh good..."
"Jesus-wait did he just actually kill me? Oh no it's an I had to lose fight."
"Hi Mickey?!"
"Now we fight for real!" "Yeah with that one inch of HP you took off his health bar." "Shut up."
"I miss Leaf Bracer so much."
He died. So he made Cura, and then went to go get it and Second Chance.
"It is weird hearing Haley Joel Osment being all edgey and shit."
"I almost said I didn't need Cura this entire time, but I didn't, because I would have died."
"Oh my god, Mickey is like a little baby right now."
"Oh, no Radiant Garden yet?" "That's LITERALLY RIGHT THERE." "Oh. I'm an idiot."
RADIANT GARDEN
"Are we gonna meet Ansem?"
"Who is that?" "Well put an X with Even and what do you get?" "Uh... Vexen?" "Yeah." "That's not--that IS Vexen!"
-gets Disney Town passes- "That's a credit card!"
"Ven is like 'Mom Dad stop fighting!'"
"Who is that? Is that Siax?" "No, but his real name is Ienzo." "OH THAT'S ZEXION?" "Yeah he little!"
"There are so many people with grey hair and blue eyes."
-gets Reversal- "-GASP- YAAAAY!"
"Poor Ven! Poor Ven... I'm sad now." "Well get ready for a flashback and a callback."
"Is that? IT IS! And theres-" "I told you."
"Oh my god you dork."
"AAAAAAH. This is why Axel is so attatched to Roxas! Right?" "It might help."
"I LOVE HIM."
"Oh my god, Isa laughed, what."
"I love Lea. AHH I GOT A KEYBLADE FROM HIM!"
OLYMPUS COLISEUM
"Hi Zack."
"Oh it's this again."
He won the mini game by two points and had no right to win that.
"Why is Phil a jerk in this one?"
"Well yeah your only friend in the world that isn't Aqua is about to get Norted so I mean..."
-sees the onslaught of Unversed- "Time Splicer is gonna be so good in this..."
"Aww Zack..."
DISNEY TOWN
"Is this Pete's new scheme?"
-unlocks Master Mode for It's a Small World- "Excuse me...?"
I wish I had someone lookin' out for me. "Yes Ven and they all told you to go home."
DEEP SPACE
"I feel like a security system that can be defeated by spitting is a very bad security system."
-Gantu shoots Stitch's wayfinder- "How DARE you!"
Gantu is now a dick for what he did.
"Did you read what the tutorial thing said?" "No, not at all. I assume I have to stop the ship from taking too much damage?" "Well yeah. The strategy is to yeet Stitch at the boss." "Ohhhhoho... or I could just do that!" "What did you do?" "I Time Splicer'd it took out half it's health!"
"Did we just get tossed into space? Aw we just got Mass Effect 2'd... alright when are we gonna wake up dead on a spaceship..."
NEVERLAND
-sees Vanitas- "Oh my god..."
"WINGBLADE???" "You gots an upgrade."
"Why is there no Moogle here?" "Moogle probably went on Union Break."
"Or I could just beat you up with a giant key..."
"I like how he told the Unversed to scram."
"I feel like I've seen this (Wingblade) before..."
"Hello old grinding spot, I missed you."
"I know where I've seen that animation before! Noctis!"
"WE HAVEN'T GOTTEN TO THE ANAKIN PART YET."
"You could say he's caught between a croc... and a hard place." "....." "Now excuse me while I beat up this middle aged man."
Then there was a lot of grinding for a lot of rare commands to meld them into.
KEYBLADE GRAVEYARD
"Sorry I'm late I had to grind!"
"Oh hello bad man."
"Oh good we got our memories back. This was the perfect time for this to happen."
"Oh that's why he puts the x in everyone's name..."
"I'm not falling for it and neither is Terra!"
"Oh, are we getting sent to the Anakin part?"
LAND OF DEPARTURE
"Shit, I feel WAY less bad about the Anakin thing now."
"Honestly this is on Eraqus."
DESTINY ISLANDS
"Oh heck... I forgot they go to Destiny Islands. I forgot Terra sent Riku on the path to super villainy."
"Oh you bitch..."
"Those are Heartless, those are straight up Heartless."
"Very intentionally hiding Vanitas' face."
KEYBLADE GRAVEYARD AGAIN
-uses Faith for the first time- "OH... well that's a thing."
"Some of these are stretching the definition of key. Some of them are just straight up swords."
"Oh hey Vanitas."
"The only one who actually takes off his helmet is Terra. God dammit Terra."
"Yeah yeah Kingdom Hearts is fuckin' here I don't know why."
"Oh hey Braig. He's been Norted!"
"Ven is VERY angry..."
"Oh no I know how this works, we never attack first, we always dodge."
"Oh right we weren't supposed to do that, shit."
"OKAY WHAT THE FUCK WHAT- WHY DOES HE LOOK LIKE SORA?"
"Oh hello asshole. Oh. Hello broken X-Blade."
If Time Splicer had IFrames, it could one shot bosses. Thats what we are learning.
"That was the COOLEST SHIT. BEST ending fight in this series so far."
"That's right bitch, don't got your sword now do ya?"
I had to go find the one cutscene to watch because I was mad it didn't show up.
"So that's Ven arriving in Sora's heart?"
"This is really cute."
"Awwwww..."
VEN STORY END
So we will be doing Aqua’s as the last KH Catch-Up post, only because of time constraints. KH3 will be streamed on Twitch and I will post about that, and then eventually KH3D because even though he watched all the cutscenes, I refuse to not let him play it.

(( Thanks to @theeverbloomingdarkness for this idea. My own bs kh3 theory story nonsense:
-Opening cutscene is of Radiant Garden where we see Lea trying to get into the castle. Ienzo greets him but he looks tired and worn. The two rush back up to where Aeleus is standing protectively over Dilan’s unconscious form but Even is missing.
-Second opening if is young eraqus and young xehanort playing chess. They allude to the ending.
-Tutorial mode is with them actually. We learn that xehanort isn’t his actual name, but rather a nickname a friend of his had given him. That friend being eraqus.
-We start with Sora, Donald, and Goofy appearing in Olympus. They get word that Herc and Co were seen near the mountain since the Colosseum is closed. They make their way over to the mountain and Hades watches from afar. Mal and Pete show up looking for a box. (cutscene stuff here) Hades doesn’t know anything about it. Mal and Pete go to the next world to look for it.
-S, D, and G make their way to the mountain but oh no there are the titans going at it. They don’t know why but they just start fighting because big bad dudes = gotta fight. They make their way up the mountain where Herc and Zeus are doing cool stuff and fighting.
-Someone mentions Old Master Nort at some point.
-S, D, and G head out to a familiar world because Heartless showed up again and they don’t know why.
-Cut to a scene of Lea and Kairi training. Kairi is tried and worn out from the session because she’s not used to it. But she doesn’t give up because she’s delightfully stubborn like that.
-Cut to Riku and Mickey in Realm of Darkness. We now play as Riku in search of something in the Realm.
-They show up at the beach and fight a swarm of Heartless. The battle cuts short and Aqua shows up. She’s slowly turning into a Darkling (from khux) and they snap her out of it via a fight with a final combo with Mickey.
-Aqua has darkness released from her and she’s knocked out for a bit finally getting a chance to SLEEP for a moment.
-Sora and co arrive at Radiant Garden only to have Ienzo there because Lea is gone training on a different world. Sora is disappointed because he wanted to see Kairi. Ienzo gives him the phone and tells him it’s how to communicate with people. We get a glimpse of a group of dark hooded figures again. Ienzo warns Sora about the org and recounts the kidnapping of Even and how they were defenseless and that’s why Lea had to come back.
-Sora actually uses the power to go into Dilan’s sleeping form and reawakens him.
-We get some new spell upgrade or get the dream eater summon here.
-Lea and Kairi cutscene on the hill top where Kairi reveals new outfit. The two actually end up talking about Roxas and Namine. Lea has some memories of another girl but can’t place who or when it was. But he knows there was another girl at some point. Kairi offers her hand to him and some magic something or another happens and the MEMORIES come back to him of Xion and he cries.
-Or they keep talking about Roxas and Lea feels bad at what a jerk he was to him. He cries either way.
-We cut back to Sora who has found a new world of probably Arendel because we need Larxene to show up and explain the new princess of heart things. We do the story line of that world. What we end up learning is of the new princesses of heart things. We are confused as to WHY and WHO but we are going with it anyways. We get a new ride to summon out of this one.
-Cutscene of Lea and Kairi working hard again. Kairi is now kicking Lea’s ass.
-Switch back to Riku and Mickey with Aqua now waking up finally. She’s confused and dazed but she recognizes Mickey and nearly breaks out in tears seeing him again. She and Riku have a quiet moment of her remembering who he is and we get a flash back to when she met him and Sora as kids. Mickey and Riku explains what is happening out in the real world and the three agree to go back.
-Back to Sora who goes through several other worlds looking for these new princesses but can’t seem to determine if any of the girls he finds will work with whatever is needed.
-Marluxia is met in Tangled World
-Vanitas is met in Monster’s Inc World
-Young Nort is met in Toy Story World
-Luxord is met in Pirates World
-Xigbar is met in Big Hero 6 World ALTHOUGH Xaldin could be the alternate here. He’s with that Riku we saw in the trailer with the golden eyes. If it’s supposed to be Data Riku it make sense for him to be there. BUT if it’s Repliku from Castle Oblivion it ALSO makes sense for him to be there because science.
-I actually have a theory on this Riku tho. I don’t believe it is either Riku mentioned above but rather Xion implanted with one or both Riku memories in her. It is exceptionally similar to how she had Sora’s memories in her which made her look like Sora/Ven but now she has the Rikus that make her look like him. The reason she HAS Riku this time around is because they found Vexen’s notes on her and with him back as a Nort he just picked up where he left off and boom Xion is back. And they put Riku in her this time because he’s a master and junk BUT he was the closest to becoming a Nort in KH1. Thus the better choice.
-After about three worlds being explored and completed we will get a cut scene of Ienzo trying to get in contact with Sora but Sora’s out of range or some shit like that. Ienzo feels alone with Aeleus watching over Dilan and he can’t figure out the computer system to get it working again.
-Ansem the Wise shows up again, it’s more of a memory than him ACTUALLY being there. But as soon as Ienzo realizes this the ghost of his touch still lingers as does the words that he spoke to him resonates in his head. He figures out the password to get the computers working again.
-Sora explores more worlds. Meets more people. We get to see some sort of reference to Marvel or Star Wars BUT NO ACTUAL WORLD. We gain more summons and magic as per world per usual.
-The grinding world is still Olympus but now you fight against teams of Heartless that the other gods put together for shits and giggles. It’s actually a lot of fun because you get fun items that will eventually make the ultimate keyblade.
-Random cutscenes of Riku, Mickey, and Aqua making it back to Yen Sid’s tower and Aqua getting some DESERVED rest.
-Another cutscene of Lea and Kairi having another friend moment. But Lea now remembers Xion. Saix actually crashes one of their lessons just for intimidation purposes. He’s accompanied by Xemnas or Xigbar. They don’t attack, just talk. They leave when Lea attempts to attack in a rage but comes up too short to do anything. They both train harder.
-A sprinkling of cutscenes of known Norts showing them talking to other Norts in cryptic messages about the overall plan. Lots of sass for Lar and Mar.
-One cutscene of TerraNort fighting his own armor is actually from the past. It’s a flashback of when they had first clashed about two years prior to the current events happening. It’s there to confuse everyone on the timeline. We see it because someone is talking to some one else and that is the memory that is brought up.
-Jumping back to Mal and Pete, they actually are seen in about a quarter of the worlds Sora and co are in. She is stopping to talk to the big bads and seeing if they know where the box has been. She makes enemies and allies all the while but none take her too seriously. She’s probably the main reason one of the worlds is in the game because Sora follows her and Pete to that one.
-The world they end up in the box is there. Luxord shows up also looking for said box. There is a three way fight over the box. The contents still aren’t revealed.
-The fight is over but a cut scene happens where Mal looks like she’s about to get away but is struck down once and for all by a hooded black cloaked figure. This figure ends up be Luxu who is working with Luxord. The two of them gather the box and disappear into a portal before Sora can stop them. Pete is sent running for his own life.
-Sora will eventually make his way over to Twilight Town because Ienzo made some sort of connection to the mansion. We meet up with Hayner, Pence, and Olette which makes Sora think about Roxas again. We will get a heartwarming moment of Roxas and Sora talking inside of Sora when he focuses on him.
-They go into the mansion and Sora gets into a pod for “testing purposes”
-THIS ACTUALLY TRIGGERS SOMETHING because since he was in that pod before it shocks him into remember CO and Roxas is LAUNCHED into the driver seat of Sora’s body. THUS making it easier to access Ven.
-With Sora deep deep deep down into his consciousness now, he’s able to reach Ven but he doesn’t know it’s Ven. We are now going into a mirror-esque world of Sora and Ven’s heart inside of Sora as Sora in the pod is actually Roxas getting a chance to have a body once more. But Roxas is just sort of using this time to just have some him quiet time and figure out how to get his own body.
-Sorry, back to Sora and Ven. Sora starts chasing after this blond haired kid who he keeps calling Roxas over and over again to get him to stop running away but when he thinks he’s about to get close there is an invisible wall in his way. This gives us timed missions to get things or some sort mini mission led by Chirithy. When these missions are done this wakes up Ven inside of him.
-With Ven awake this triggers Ven’s memories of what happened of when he was a dandelion. Seeing Chirithy is what makes it happen. However it only comes back in bits and pieces. There are holes in Ven’s memory where he can’t seem to form a full memory of what happened so far back in his past. But he does remember Aqua and Terra.
-Ven does remember the unions and how there were five masters. He does remember their names and that there were five others before them. This is in the form of broken flashbacks of KHUX cutscenes now in hd beauty.
-Cue a very confused Sora.
-Sora wakes up and can control his own body again. He explains what happened but is still confused. Now he can hear Roxas and Ven in his head. At all times. It weirds him out.
-It turns out that Ansem Seeker of Darkness and Xemnas were waiting on something like this to happen to attack. They had been needing the use of the pods but because of DiZ they couldn’t get into the mansion. With the power going back to the pods, they can finally use them again. They disappear.
-This sends Sora back onto his mission. He goes out to one more world that actually has a lot of plot important points and reveals the final xehanort or something like that. This sends him towards the Keyblade Graveyard.
-We actually get a cutscene where everyone else is told to go to the Keyblade Graveyard.
-When S, D, and G arrive so do the others. Before they can even get intros out or meet up in the same place, the massive attack happens. Ven sees Aqua through Sora’s eyes and he is drawn to go to her but Sora keeps fighting. Roxas sees Lea through Sora’s eyes and he’s drawn to him but Sora keeps fighting. The two inside of him get frustrated enough to BREAK FREE and we get a strange bright flash of light that now has the three of them in separate bodies ready to fight.
-Once the fight is done there are short reunions that will break the viewer’s heart. It’s short because Old Coot Nort is now in full power with all of his Darknesses at the ready. As it turns out they didn’t need the new princesses of light. It was just to get Sora to get the other two out of his body, but they needed more time.
-Old Nort Coot is in full power BECAUSE OF THE BOX. The box had the Master of Master’s body or heart or SOMETHING related to him which is why Luxu was so shocked. Now when Sora and the others first get to the KG, we see Luxu in the distance talking to MX in the distance. We don’t know what they are saying but we can see the box is with them and they both open it. Before we can see what is actually in the box, the twelve other Org members block our view and we fight.
-A giant epic battle happens.
-Xehanort is finally, FINALLY, defeated. He goes into Kingdom Hearts. All of his Norts fade with him. Some random few stay behind, their bodies reverting back to what they were before the Nort had taken them over. They have another chance of life.
-Terra is finally released. We get our wayfinder trio reunion.
-Happiness doesn’t last. Since Terra had been stuck in the dark for so long he actually starts to fade on his own. The armor that is still waiting for him, comes for him. His soul is finally reunited. He can rest now. As he is about to fade we see Eraqus standing in the glow of Kingdom Hearts’ rays. He’s smiling. He welcomes Terra to him with open arms. Terra falls to his knees in forgiveness and Eraqus pulls him into a hug. Ven and Aqua join in on this. The light fades and Ven and Aqua are hugging each other now.
-Braig is there with Isa. Both still scarred and unconscious. Riku and Sora have the option to go in and help them. But only one. They choose Isa. Going into the Realm of Dreams, they awaken the sleeping heart of a child Isa and return him to Lea.
-Seeing the reunion with Isa and Lea, Roxas doesn’t know what to do. Namine and Xion project themselves next to him and gives him and each other a smile. Roxas can’t see them, but senses two people next to him and he feels good.
-Mickey, Donald, and Goofy hug it out. Happy to be back with one another.
-Sora, Riku, and Kairi finally have a proper reunion. The three have a group hug which leads to compliments to Kairi on her technique and how great she was. Riku teases that she will surpass Sora in becoming a master sooner.
-With Xehanort finally defeated, the groups return to their own homes with promises to keep in touch.
-Sora finally goes home and has dinner with his mother.
ROLL CREDITS
BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE
During the credits we see:
-Sora, Riku, and Kairi training on Destiny Islands together
-Braig and Even being brought back to Radiant Garden and being laid up in bed while he appears to be sleeping.
-Radiant Garden itself looking beautiful and more complete with fountains.
-The Restoration Committee congratulating itself.
-Various worlds with their happy ever afters.
-Ven and Aqua returning to the Land of Departure to its original state.
-We see Mickey and Minnie reuniting. Daisy and Donald holding hands. Goofy chuckling on the side as he pulls out a picture of Max at college.
-Chip and Dale keep doing their thing. They actually end up opening up a transportation special for Sora and the gang for the other worlds.
-Pete is seen running around lost somewhere between the worlds in a gummi ship of his own, only to have Chip and Dale pull up next to him like cops. He is brought back to disney castle where he works as a janitor.
-Aeleus, Ienzo, and Dilan finally finished cleaning the castle and opening it up to the rest of the town. They’ve also made a memorial for Even.
-The other recompleted Norts (Lux, Mar, Lar...) all returning to their own worlds, confused and dazed. Or their own timelines......
-Braig and Even waking up in RG, very confused and very weak.
-Sora and Ienzo on the phone with one another with plans on what seems to be another body extraction notes with Namine written on one of the pages.
-Lea, Roxas, and Isa all sitting and eating ice cream together. Lea in the middle.
-One last final cut scene of young Eraqus and young Xehanort playing chess in their time line. The keyblade on the wall disappears.
RANDOM OTHER HEADCANONS
-Kairi refuses to eat and sea salt ice cream with Lea until waaaaaaaaaay later in their training because she doesn’t trust him. She does mention wanting to share some with her boys.
-Xigbar is actually seen in like half of the worlds talking to the other Norts. He just sort of floats around from each world checking on each Nort that is there because he can. The others either find it annoying or actually enjoy having him stop by.
-We will get the other Somebody names in a journal entry.
-Pinocchio comes back for some reason.
-If the Data Riku/.Repliku/Xion Nort doesn’t work out, it ends up being Xaldin. Because that’s the only way I will personally accept that Riku looking Nort to be there. And Xaldin ends up being the final Nort because of another kidnapping that they do at RG. It’s after the second one that Ienzo feels alone and gets that screen time with Ansem the Wise.
-I’m really hoping it ends up being Xaldin.
-The Radiant Garden Restoration Committee is still important, but they are just working on the town more than anything in this game. We will see more of the town being built up and being restored to what it looked like in BBS.
-Sephiroth is still a boss fight somewhere in the game. But he’ll be in another world like Twilight Town for no reason.
-In the Keyblade Graveyard you the player have to fight all of the Norts at some point. They might cut the battle short with another Keyblader coming in and picking up the fight where you left off, but it will be close to that cliffside fight with the FF characters in KH2.
-Kairi will yell at Larxene and Marluxia at some point “This is for Namine!”
-Kairi and Namine actually talk a lot to each other but we will never see it on screen, it only gets alluded to.
-Sora seems like he’s going to fade into the darkness at least three times throughout the game. But it’s all just to be able to pull Roxas and/or Ven out from inside of him.
-I’m slightly weighing on the idea that Luxu and Luxord might be the same person. But I’m not convinced on the idea myself. Therefore they have separate endings.
-Cid and Merlin still argue about magic vs technology is in there somewhere I’m sure. It’s gotta happen at least once.
-The Winnie the Pooh world is meant for minigames. However you will need to reach a certain score with it in order to get the secret ending that shows something in relation to Sora, Riku, and Kairi all sharing a paopu fruit at the same time.
-I really want the secret ending to be the three of them sitting on their island with a paopu fruit in Sora’s hand. He’s sitting between the two of them and he breaks it into three parts and hands off pieces to the two of them. They all smile at each other and eat it at the same time.
-Worlds I can confirm to be in the game: Olympus, Twilight Town, Radiant Garden, BH6, Tangled, Frozen, Pirates, Keyblade Graveyard, Toy Story, Monsters Inc, Dream Realm....
-Other possible worlds that they could put in that would tie in with the theme that is searching for something/someone and fighting an inner darkness: Treasure Planet, Brave, Lion King 2, Princess and the Frog, Lilo and Stitch, Robin Hood, Pocahontas, Moana, Elena.... If we want something on time travel we’d end up with Cinderella 3.
-If there is a Star Wars world it would be with the Clone Wars TV show that they have. And if there is a Marvel world it would be in association with Thor or Captain America.
-Riku will just constantly be teasing Sora and Kairi about their fighting styles every time they are together.
NOW I’m done. I’m pretty sure I’m missing SOMETHING important that I can’t remember...... but that’s my headcanon and how I think kh3 is going to go. ))
#ooc#khtheory#headcanon#dear lort i did this in three hours#got to over 3500+ words#it's a lot of random shit and i don't anticipate most of this being right#but here's a good start#pretty sure i missed something..... like really sure....#theeverbloomingdarkness#sorry to anyone on mobile that this screws over#long post#also sorry for the shitty tagging system that is going to put this in a lot of unnecessary tags

Would you like to develop software for Mac OS X or iOS? While it’s easy to develop apps for Linux and Windows on any platform, developing software for Mac requires a toolset called XCode, designed and built by Apple specifically for Mac OS X.
XCode is an incredibly powerful piece of software. Not only is it a complete toolset for developing Mac apps; it’s also an interface builder, testing application, and asset management toolkit.
In this simple guide, you’ll learn how to use XCode on Windows – something that’s normally impossible. All you’ll need is a Windows PC, a copy of Mac OS X, an Apple account, and an Internet connection.
Is this your first time using XCode? Learn how to program software for Mac and iOS with our 1 Hour XCode Introduction.
Installing a virtual PC application with Mac OS X
Since XCode only runs on Mac OS X, you’ll need to be able to simulate an installation of Mac OS X on Windows. This is surprisingly easy to do with virtualization software like VMWare or open source alternative VirtualBox.
For the purpose of this guide, we’ll be using VirtualBox. If you use a different virtual computer application, the process is much the same. Since VirtualBox is open source and free to use, it’s worth downloading it if you don’t already have a copy installed.
Here, I'm running a 32-bit app that won't run in Catalina itself.10. Ignore the warning. 64 bit scanner app for mac. Upgrade the OSNow you can upgrade to Catalina. When the upgrade is complete, start Parallels Desktop and your virtual Mojave machine. (In this screenshot, Mojave is running at night, so it's showing the nighttime desktop image, but it's the same virtual machine shown in earlier screens.
Have you never used VirtualBox before? Learn how to use this powerful virtual PC application by enrolling in our course, QuickStart! – Virtual Box. In addition to Mac OS X, VirtualBox can also be used to run Linux and other operating systems.
Running a virtual computer is quite a demanding process, and you’ll need to have a fairly powerful PC for it to operate successfully. You’ll also need a PC with hardware similar to that of a standard, Apple-constructed iMac, MacBook, or Mac Pro.
To successfully emulate a Mac using a Windows PC, you’ll need the following:
A Dual Core Intel processor
At least 2GB of RAM (4GB+ recommended)
Hardware Virtualization
Is your PC too weak to emulate a Mac properly? Learn how to build a powerful PC for gaming, app development, and more with our Learn How to Build a Computer course.
You’ll also need an installation disc for Mac OS X. You can purchase this online from the Apple Store or, if you already own a MacBook, iMac, or Mac Pro, you can use the install disc you received with your computer.
Once you’ve installed VirtualBox, open the application and choose to install Mac OS X Server 64 Bit. Provide the virtual computer with at least 2GB of RAM (if you have more than 8GB of RAM, choose 4GB+) and more than 30GB of hard disk space.
VirtualBox will automatically configure the operating system, but you’ll still need to make a few changes manually. Open the Settings menu and carry out the following changes:
On the System tab, uncheck Enable EFI
On the Processor tab, select at least two CPUs
On the Display tab, increase the video memory to at least 128MB
Installing Mac OS X and booting your virtual machine
Install Xcode For Mac Mojave
Finally, you’ll need to download a Hackboot boot loader to install OS X. You can find a Hackboot install file by searching Google – in this case, you’ll need Hackboot 1 and Hackboot 2, as well as your OS X disc, to complete the installation.
Select your Hackboot 1 disc image, and then start the virtual machine. Your virtual machine will boot, and you’ll see an OS X screen. Using the menu at the bottom of the screen, launch the disc drive that contains your OS X installation disc.
Amadeus Pro 1.x will run on Mac OS X 10.4 and is still available here. Amadeus Pro supports a variety of Plug-Ins. It is compatible with the popular VST format, as well as with Apple’s Audio Units. Amadeus Pro is an audio editing tool for the Mac that works quickly and easily to record, split, edit, and export audio tracks. While not as feature rich as a tool like GarageBand, it runs a lot. Amadeus for mac. Amadeus Pro enables you to quickly edit multiple audio tracks via simple, intuitive drag and drop actions, in a clean and organized environment. The application enables you to analyze the tracks.
From here, you’ll need to follow the installation instructions for Mac OS X. It takes several minutes to install the operating system. Once the process is finished, you’ll need to switch off your virtual machine and change your boot disc.
Reopen VirtualBox and, leaving all of your other settings the same, switch your boot disc from Hackboot 1 to Hackboot 2. You’ll boot into a screen with two icons. Select Mac OS X and press Enter to initiate the Mac OS X boot sequence.
During the Mac OS X configuration sequence, you’ll need to enter your Apple ID. This is necessary for downloading the XCode toolset later, so make sure you enter a valid Apple account when you configure your operating system.
Installing XCode on your Mac OS X virtual machine
Once you’ve configured your Mac OS X virtual machine, installing XCode is relatively easy. Before you install XCode, you’ll want to configure your virtual machine to your preferred resolution and settings using the System Preferences menu.
Is this your first time using Mac OS X? If you’re a PC user, finding your way around in the new interface can be a challenge. Enroll in Using Mac OS X for Windows Users to learn the basics of the OS X interface, from the Dock to features like Spotlight.
From here, installing XCode is simple. Open the App Store application from the dock and type XCode into the search bar. You might need to reenter your account details, or enter them for the first time if you didn’t do so during Mac OS X configuration.
Navigate to the XCode app and click Install Now to download it. If you don’t have an Apple account, you’ll need to create one in order to download the XCode toolset for your virtual machine.
XCode is quite a large application, and downloading it could take anywhere from a minute to several hours, depending on your Internet connection speed. Once your download is finished, open Applications and click XCode to launch the installer.
Install Xcode For Mac Catalina
Once the installation process is complete, you’ll be able to use XCode within your virtual machine to program apps for Mac OS or iOS. You can also download other Mac apps to use on your virtual machine, although they may not run smoothly.
Update Xcode On Mac
Developing iOS Apps and more using XCode
XCode is an incredibly powerful toolkit for app development. It’s also refreshingly easy to use, especially for developers accustomed to cumbersome and complicated programming software for PC.

The Best Spider-Man
I took the liberty of kind of joining this prompt with this one. I tried my best to get a balanced feel of both of these prompts to make one cohesive story. Hope you like it, sweeties!
Words: 2,722
Another lab report due by the end of the week. Jesus, this was the third week in a row his teacher did that to the class. And that means a whole lot of staying up late typing the damn thing. Peter Parker knew he’d be getting straight A’s anyway. It was just another thing piled up on his week’s worth of science, math, language, english, and technical homework.
You can do it, Peter. You’re Spider-Man. You can do anything.
Oh right, Spider-Man. Yet another load onto Peter’s full plate. He wanted to be Spider-Man full-time! But unfortunately, it wasn’t up to him. It was up to Tony Stark.
Speaking of the man, Tony had been paying Peter more visits. Whether it was to scold him or congratulate him on something, Tony was acting more and more like some father figure to the kid. Except when he wasn’t.
Tony had become semi-obsessed with teaching Peter everything he knew. How to be the most spidery Spider-Man ever. The training added another weight to Peter’s young shoulders. He could’ve easily said no and that he was too busy, but what would Mr. Stark think of him then? That he wasn’t strong enough to bear the burden of being Spider-Man? Hell no. He couldn’t have that.
So Peter was stuck dealing with schoolwork, his social life, being a superhero, and making time for Iron Man’s teaching. Wow, he was so screwed.
A weekend arrived. Finally! Some relaxation at last, right? His cell phone ringing and the voice of Tony being the caller told Peter that he was wrong to assume he’d ever get a break.
The phone call went something like:
“Hey, kiddo. You free today?” “Me? Oh um, yeah I think so, Mr. Stark. Why?” “I was gonna ask Happy to pick you up and take you to the Towers. I have a new upgrade for your suit I think you’ll like.” “That’s... that’s real nice of you, Mr. Stark. Sure. I’ll come over.” “Great. See you soon.”
Peter sighed after he hung up and flopped down onto his bed, shutting his eyes. He needed sleep. If not sleep, he needed at least an hour with no worries and no responsibilities.
But within half an hour, Peter was showered and dressed and Happy was downstairs ready to pick him up. He was too tired to even annoy Happy today.
Upon his arrival, Happy took Peter to the gym inside the upstate Avengers facility where Tony was waiting for him.
“There he is. Spiderboy,” Tony teased gently, welcoming Peter with a smile.
“Hi,” Peter mustered up his own smile and he waved to Tony.
“C’mere, let me show you what I have so far. Then I want your comments.”
Tony showed Peter a new power grid for his suit as well as a new program that improves Peter’s agility within it. That and a few other tweaks were what Tony started off with.
Peter listened attentively, offering minor quips about the technology Tony was developing for those programs. Tony took in each one with humbled pride.
“Alright, now that that’s out of the way, why don’t we take the suit for a test run? You and me? Sparring?”
Peter almost threw up at the word, not imagining he could handle a full on fight after a night of no sleep. His tired look of disgust transformed into an appreciative smile just for Tony.
“Yeah, let’s do it.”
Peter got changed into his Spidey suit and met Tony in a large sparring arena.
“Now, I’m an old man so go easy on me,” Tony joked, hoping to get a crack of a smile or a laugh from the kid. Nothing. Tony sensed early on that something was on Peter’s mind, but he figured maybe not bringing it up was his best bet.
Tony was trying to teach Peter all the new moves and specialty powers he could unlock from his suit. Tony was very aware how much this sounded like a video game tutorial.
Peter would try. Most of the moves he’d get right, and a specialty web would shoot out of his wrist. But there was always one or two he stumbled on.
“It’s alright, Pete. Why don’t we move on to the next one?”
Peter was panting, that one move taking a lot out of his sleep-deprived body.
“T-There’s more?”
“Only another five or so,” Tony shrugged, “Then I want you to actually use them. Against me.”
Peter wanted to groan out loud. He choked it back in his throat and continued on with the moves.
Once it was the final new move, Peter found he didn’t have the stamina to do it. He tried and tried, over and over again. Each time the jumps and kicks taking more and more out of him.
Tony couldn’t sense the fatigue so much and just continued watching, thinking Peter just had to find his groove.
He was proved wrong when Peter tore off his mask and screamed, “I can’t do it!”
Tony stood still, shocked at the sudden outburst, “Peter...”
“I can’t do it! I-I know you want me to, Mr. Stark, but... there’s just so much going on right now. So damn much,” Peter threw his mask on the ground as tears welled up in his eyes, “I’m not the superhero you want me to be. B-But I’m trying! I’m doing my homework, studying for my tests, going out at night and stopping the bad guys and--” he sniffled, “It’s so much... You believe in me, I know. You put so much faith in me and here I am, unable to manage every little thing I should be able to. I’m not cut out for this, Tony,” a tear slipped down Peter’s cheek. Not waiting for Tony to give him any answers, Peter ran out of the sparring gym.
Tony rocked back and forth on his heels. He then took a few steps forward and picked up Peter’s discarded mask. With calm, even steps, he went in search for Peter. After asking the Tower’s supercomputer where he was of course.
Peter ran through the Towers, going up a flight of stairs and turning a corner. He continued running until he found an open door. It seemed to be an unoccupied sleeping quarters. Probably unused and brand new, judging by the pristine-ness of it all and the smell. He ducked inside there and shut the door behind him.
Peter took one look at himself in the mirror there and he got even more enraged. He screamed with anger and anxiety all mixed into one tearful shout. He ripped the suit off his body and kicked it after throwing it to the ground. Then he curled up on the pearly white bedsheets, sobbing quietly. Weak. That’s what he was. He couldn’t handle even the least bit of pressure. And he just exploded like that in front of Tony Stark. He was done being Spider-Man. That was the end, he was sure of it.
Now only clad in boxers, Peter sniffled into the pillows, holding one close to his chest.
Minutes past and Peter was still upset and crying. He couldn’t stop his tears once the stress took over. This had happened before.
Half an hour. Peter shut his eyes and was no longer crying. He cleared his mind and just sat in silence. He rolled onto his back and stared at the ceiling. By now, all expression on his face was nonexistent. A blank stare accompanied with red eyes from his fit of crying.
A sudden knock on his door made Peter cringe and he rolled onto his side, back facing the door. He did not want to interact.
Tony stepped in after waiting thirty seconds post-knock. He saw the forgotten suit on the ground first and then the curled up pale blob that was Peter. Tony sat down on the edge of the bed, fiddling with something in his hands.
“When I was a little younger than you, and I’d be upset or stressed about something, you know what my dad would do? He’d stand in my room and tell me, ‘You’ve got to be better.’ Hmm,” Tony stared in front of him absently as he reminisced, “And I’d always think, gee... that was some shitty pep talking. I mean, he didn’t even say ‘You’re better than this,’ or ‘It’s okay, things will get better.’ I got none of that. And it’s funny because... every time I speak to you, the one thought always running through my mind is don’t be him. So I have to be better to you than my dad ever was to me. I’m failing,” Tony smiled sadly, “Clearly. I can’t read the signs that you’re tired. That you need a break. I mean, you’re just a kid. I’m starting to realize... I’m exactly like Howard.”
“No.”
Tony turned his head, surprised to hear the second voice pipe up. Peter was now sitting up, half his body still turned away from Tony.
“You aren’t like that, Mr. Stark. You’re doing everything right, it’s me that’s the problem.”
“If you are still believing that you’re the problem, there’s something going on. Right?” Tony lifted half his leg onto the bed to look at Peter fully, “Pete, you’re an amazing kid. And I don’t say that to every Spiderboy I know.”
A glimmer of amusement shown in Peter’s eye.
“I picked you for a reason. Took you under my wing, gave you the suit, given you all the support I can give. I see the strength in you. I see what you’ve been through. And frankly, I see myself.”
Peter’s cheeks tinted with blush.
“You get easily distressed, easily anxious, and pressure isn’t the thing you handle best. But I wouldn’t take my Spider-Man any other way. We both gotta just keep,” Tony gently socked Peter’s shoulder, “Rolling with the punches. I’ll be a better mentor. I’ll recognize the signs easier. I promise. I’ll work on that. And we’ll make you the best superhero you can be. Okay?”
Peter took in all of what Tony said and he nodded. Tony tossed the thing he’d been holding in his hands this whole time at Peter. The teen caught it and he sighed, now looking at his mask.
“New York needs Spider-Man,” Tony concluded, shrugging his shoulders, giving Peter a knowing look.
Peter nodded again and he was about to speak but another article of clothing got chucked into his face. Oh, how sentimental, Tony.
“No big speeches, that’s my job. And especially not when you’re half naked.”
Peter huffed and he grinned, seeing that Tony threw his change of clothes at him.
“Thank you, Mr. Stark,” Peter slipped on his shirt.
Peter knew Tony was doing all the right things. He had all the right instincts. Tony knew to give him some time to cool down, and when he confronted him, he wasn’t all about yelling at him to get him to come to his senses. He wasn’t lovey dovey with hugs or anything and that was nice, too.
“So, what can I do to make it up to you?”
“Nothing. You don’t owe me anything.”
“I can take you out for ice cream. Isn’t that what dads do? Hell, you don’t know either so why am I even asking?”
Peter grinned again, “It sounds like something a dad would do. Especially taking his son to get the biggest soft serve cone out there.”
Tony reciprocated the grin, “Oh boy, it sounds like Peter’s being sassy.”
Peter stood up to pull his jeans on properly and he smiled at Tony, “I think I know who I got that from.”
Tony chuckled now, the joke still carrying on, “Wanna sit on dad’s lap and tell him all your woes? Girl troubles? Friend drama? Sexual escapades?”
Peter let out a laugh and he grabbed a pillow, pushing it into Tony’s back, “Stop! You’re soho creepy!”
Tony smirked and while Peter was pushing the pillow into him, he turned and was able to nab one of Peter’s arms and wrench him forward. So now Peter was on his back beside Tony.
“What’s the big deal? I’m just trying to get my boy to confess to me,” Tony, while still holding one of Peter’s wrists, used his free hand to spider a set of fingers into the teen’s belly.
The soft, teasing sensation send shocks up Peter’s spine, and he yelped. He could do little to stop it from happening, despite being Spider-Man.
“T-Tony! No wait! Plehease don’t!”
“My dad never did this to me. I gotta be his opposite, Pete, you know that.”
Tony latched onto both of Peter’s skinny yet muscular sides and kneaded them up and down. He heard Peter’s laughter escalate and he knew he was doing something right.
“Thihis isn’t fair! NO! Tony, not thehehere! ACK!”
Peter whined and cackled when Tony’s fingers crawled up to ripple against his ribcage. Peter struggled harder now and was able to wiggle himself away from Tony for a second. But he wound up with his upper half hanging off the side of the bed and Tony held onto him tighter so he wouldn’t move. With Peter’s ribs now sticking out more prominently thanks to his back being stretched, Tony massaged and caressed his way up each and every rib.
Peter’s mouth was open in a wide smile, desperate laughter pouring from his lips. He could barely form words to beg Tony to stop. But did he really even want this to stop? This was a drastic 180 compared to his earlier behavior.
“SHIHIT!” Peter wailed and panted when he got a break. Tony’s fingers stilled on his highest ribs, Peter’s arms clamping protectively to his sides.
“How’re you holding up?” Tony asked with a wicked grin, his face popping over the edge of the bed to look at Peter.
“J-Juhust don’t go any hihigher...” Peter panted, his head hanging back to savor this moment’s rest.
Tony rose a curious brow, “Does the spider have a weak spot under his arms?”
Peter blushed and tried worming away again, “Noho he doesn’t!” the teasing wasn’t helping his predicament at all.
Tony smirked and he slid his hands up under Peter’s protective arms and wiggled his fingers briefly just to test it. Peter shrieked just from those two seconds of tickling, and Tony could feel his arms press harder into his sides.
The billionaire playboy resumed his tickle attack, able to scritch every bit of skin in Peter’s armpits just fine. Peter threw his head back and dislodged himself from Tony’s hold just a little more so now he was hanging upside down from the bed.
“TOHONYYY! STAHAAA!” Peter was done for now. He couldn’t finish words and all that overtook him was his own laughter.
“Isn’t this like the part of you always vulnerable? What with you swinging on webs and climbing buildings? Geez, some warning would’ve been nice before we named you Spider-Man. Better planning should go into future heroes if they’re all as ticklish as you.”
Peter’s face got even redder and he shook his head back and forth, unable to escape Tony’s torturous digits. They wouldn’t stop wiggling and digging into his hollows. It was hell.
Eventually, Peter’s squirming got to be so adamant that he fell off the bed and landed on the floor with a soft thud. Tony chortled and looked down at Peter.
“You good, Pete?”
Peter was still giggling, and he looked right up at Tony, “Behetter.”
Tony’s heart warmed and he got off the bed, helping Peter to his feet. He couldn’t help but ruffle the kid’s hair affectionately. Tony decided to call off the suit repairs and training for the rest of the day. He even offered to help Peter with his schoolwork, but the brainiac declined, as Tony expected.
Before Peter left with Happy, he ran towards Tony and squeezed him in a tight hug.
“See you, Mr. Stark.”
Tony smiled and he patted Peter’s back, “Go show that chemistry teacher who’s boss.”
Peter laughed and nodded before jogging off to meet up with Happy at the car. He spun around and waved to Tony one last time before leaving.
Tony stood there and watched the car drive off. Now that was the Spider-Man he’d come to know and love.

my spoilery thoughts on the last of us part ii
i apologize in advance for this super long post that you have to scroll past because i don’t know how to do the “keep reading” option thing
the only reason i’m writing this out is because i’m literally going insane from not being able to talk about my feelings for this game to anyone since no one i know actually cares lmao so this is mainly just for myself and anyone who wants to read this
the intro:
as i played through this game, i also watched a few playthroughs up until the point where i stopped to take a break. this was a game i couldn’t binge just because it’s so heavy and intense and sometimes you just gotta step away and take a breather
one of the playthroughs i followed along with was jacksepticeye’s and at the end he gave his review of the game like he normally does. i didn’t completely agree with everything he said, but for the most part i thought what he said lined up pretty well with my own opinion.
in particular, one thing that stood out to me was when he said that the introduction to this game shouldn’t have been Joel talking to Tommy about what he did at the end of the first game, but rather the whole flashback of Ellie’s birthday at the museum. then at “one” during the countdown to liftoff, the screen should’ve went black and fast forwarded to four-years-older Ellie opening her eyes in her home in Jackson (idk if i’m explaining this well, but Jack’s editor, Robin, edits this together and really sold it to me. if you wanna see it, go to the last part of Jack’s playthrough and look for it towards the last 30 minutes). i think this would have given us the time i think we all needed with Joel before he died and all the following flashbacks would be more focused on how/why Joel and Ellie’s relationship turned so distant - or hostile on Ellie’s part - and could’ve helped the pacing a bit.
Joel’s death:
potentially an unpopular opinion? but i actually like how Joel died. or uh lemme rephrase, i like the way they wrote his death. in this world of violence, hate, and brutality (actually doesn’t sound too off from our world but ahem moving on), i think the way he died was realistic, especially since he doomed all of humanity by saving Ellie in Part I. it just makes a lot of sense that someone would go after him and hunt him down
from the moment Abby and Owen stood over Jackson from the cliff, i was thinking: well theyre gonna kill Joel and since we’re gonna probably be playing as this girl for some (emphasis on some) of the game, they’re gonna go hard on the grey area of perspective in terms of revenge. which i was super on board with, but we’ll get back to that
when this game was first advertised, i didn’t know how i felt about a revenge story. it’s been told so many times and i’m never as hell-bent on revenge as much as the character is because it never feels warranted enough. that is, until i saw Joel die. watching Ellie pinned to the floor with a perfect view of his body, his face, beat to shit as she screams and begs for Abby to stop? haha that’s fucked Naughty Dog, thanks. but i do appreciate that they were able to make me just as mad as Ellie because of just how brutal his death was and how much i care, cared, about that character. no story has ever made me so incredibly enraged to the point i was with the main character full-stop to just destroy the perpetrator and take revenge. that’s why i think the way Joel dies is perfectly done. the fact that that cutscene is so horrible to watch for so many reasons just proves that it does it’s job.
Ellie’s half:
i actually don’t have too much to say about Ellie’s half of the story. this was what i both expected and wanted from the game, the whole game. while i can’t say i was having “fun”, because this isn’t really a fun game to play, you know what i mean when i say that this part was fun to play and follow.
side note: Naughty Dog’s improvement of your NPC buddy is so good, Dina and Jesse were both actually helpful, still not perfect, but also they’re not supposed to do all the work for you. i think the added layer that they could also get caught/seen and alert the enemy was completely unexpected and such a good addition to the gameplay (ofc this goes for Lev as well).
throughout the whole story, there’s kinda a problem with the pacing, and i know i’m not the first person to say that. however, i think the only big pacing issue i had with Ellie’s perspective was that kinda weird attempt of an open world map that they did with the gates. it felt a little unnecessary since i, and most other people, are playing for the story, not an open world with various side quest-like things. i missed the guitar cutscene with Ellie playing the guitar and singing to Dina (which kinda sucks, but i obviously just watched it after) because i just wanted to get back to the story rather than explore a large area. it was an attempt at something different so i won’t fault the game for that too much, but also stay in your lane lol so that section was a bit of a miss for me personally. i really liked the rest of it though, it had me engaged the whole time
Abby’s half:
ok. i have a lot to say about this half of the game since this is where most the problems occur.
first, let me preface this by saying that i don’t hate Abby. as i said, from the very beginning i knew she was going to have a, not justifiable, but an understandable reason for murdering Joel and that the game was going to be about seeing two sides to the same story. except, at the same time, i came here for Ellie, so why am i playing as this heterosexual? im mostly kidding. but fr i didn’t need the entire half of the game trying to get me to sympathize with Abby. i really didn’t need the message to be so spelt out for me, i got it from the moment i realized she was going to kill a favorite character.
i think my main gripe with the way they told this story is the way they formatted it. this story has all the elements to be amazing, but the execution just lacked the...finesse? idk if that’s the right word.
rather than splitting up the game into two halves, they could/should have integrated Abby’s story into Ellie’s so that when we cut from Abby holding the gun at Ellie in the theater to suddenly Abby as a young girl, it won’t feel so jarring when we have to start all over again with the upgrades and the timeline.
i really liked how we switched between them in the very beginning so why couldn’t that have just continued? in a book with multiple povs, the author often switches back and forth between every or every few chapters. you never see a book that starts with one perspective, then at the climax you have to start all over again from the other. at least, i’ve never seen this in any books i’ve read and i’ve read a lot ngl
maybe they forced us to stick with Abby for so long because if we’re forced to play as her, then we’re forced to get invested into her story. while this makes sense, it also really degraded at my enthusiasm for the game. it took me so long to just give up on the idea that we would be going back to Ellie relatively soon and when i did actually realize that was what was happening i was really disappointed.
instead of separating their stories, i would’ve liked to have Abby maybe one step behind Ellie the whole time so that while we play we’re just anticipating when Abby will finally catch up and it builds to this whole thing. instead, when we actually got to the point where everything was supposed to go down, we’re hit with whiplash and back to the very beginning with tutorials?? like did they just expect us to forget how to play since we switched characters?
i’m thinking, after Ellie and Dina jump over the barbed wire that explodes and Ellie’s knocked out, we could have switched over to Abby waking up in the WLF stadium. after Abby sneaks out of the stadium and you have that interaction with Jordan where he mentions Leah at the tv station, then we go back to Ellie waking up and tied to the table and we see Ellie kill Jordan.
after this i think Abby should have met Lev and Yara way sooner because i barely even remember what happened before Abby was caught by the seraphites it was so boring. so she gets caught by the seraphites AFTER we meet them through Ellie being shot through the shoulder (i still want to get all the first impressions of new stuff with Ellie because then it still makes her feel like the main character) and we meet the siblings and blahblahblah.
as a follow up, after Ellie kills Nora, which by the way, Ellie’s facial expressions are just so good with the red light while she’s just beating Nora to death? wow that entire interaction was so well done. anyway, after Ellie kills Nora, and Ellie gets back to the theater and the scene ends with her and Dina hugging, then we would switch to that whole section with Abby and Lev traveling to the hospital to get the meds and it would be cool if on her way in, Nora helps Abby and then on her way out, we run into a door we have trouble opening so we push and when it opens, Nora’s beaten up body is right there.
you get the gist. Abby’s story was barely intertwined with Ellie’s until the very end where she finds Owen and Mel dead. she doesn’t know that literally everyone else, except Leah, is dead too. i feel like that would’ve made the impact of Abby and Ellie’s fight at the theater more effective. affective? whatever i’m not an english nerd
i also think we should have gotten the flashback with Abby’s dad a little later when we’re expected to understand her character a bit more.
overall, i’m not mad about getting Abby’s side of the story, but i am mad that the way it was told felt so disconnected from Ellie. we could still get that whole arc of Abby going to the island to get Lev, she can still get her own story apart from Ellie, but she needed to have more of a interaction with Ellie’s actions.
Abby vs. Ellie, Abby’s pov:
i absolutely hate this fight. i really hate the way it was written and the way it happened. i get that the game is trying to give us Abby’s perspective and to show that in her point of view, Ellie is the villain in this story.
except, AGAIN, i don’t need this spoon fed to me!!! i KNOW that the world isn’t black and white and that people’s perspectives are different, but also? i don’t really care. both characters have gone through shit and both have done shitty things. neither of them are innocent, no one in this world is innocent (hence why i really dislike Mel, but that’s not really relevant), so it really comes down to which character you value more. in my - and most other people’s - case, it’s Ellie. i know the whole point of this fight is to make the player uncomfortable, but i wasn’t just uncomfortable, it made me legitimately start to dislike this game (spoiler for the end of this stupid-long review: i don’t completely dislike it)
the game really emphasizes that this is Abby’s story as much as it is Ellie’s and i get that, but this fight did not need to happen the way it did and the game didn’t need to be even longer after this. a lot of people say that we played from Abby’s perspective because Ellie would have killed Abby and that would be that (and she did, by the way, i relished watching Ellie get her revenge because while i don’t hate Abby, it was still so satisfying even if that wasn’t how the game wanted me to play). however however however, Abby wouldn’t have showed mercy either. she was absolutely going to kill Ellie if Dina hadn’t intervened then she was going to kill Dina if Lev hadn’t intervened.
here’s how i wouldve wanted it to go: we go back to Ellie’s perspective once Abby has the gun pointed at Ellie in the lobby and during their fight, Ellie would get the upper hand because she has weapons and shit (let’s be honest, Ellie would not win in hand-to-hand combat with fully-healthy Abby, we saw that first hand). Lev would try to jump in, but then Dina would disarm him and prevent him from escaping her grasp. then eventually Ellie would have the barrel of the shotgun pointed at Abby’s face and she would hear Lev tell her to please stop don’t kill her and Ellie would listen because the same exact thing happened to her (we could get a short flashback or something for more emotions, idk). so instead of killing Abby, Ellie would knock her out and her and Dina would leave and Lev would run to Abby’s unconscious body. this would end that cycle of revenge and because Abby has something more important to her than revenge (Lev), they would move on.
the ending:
if the game went how i just imagined, we probably wouldn’t get an ending that’s as depressing and open ended as it is, but i’m sure Neil and his team could figure something out, such as Ellie still has to deal with PTSD and Tommy’s really pissed at them and Ellie still looses her two fingers. so we get that little domestic sequence and the PTSD flashback and Tommy coming with his eye missing and showing the map. he leaves and when Ellie is about to leave in the middle of the night, Dina convinces her this time to stay and the next day Ellie tries to play the guitar one last time before giving up since she doesn’t have her fingers (i still want that last heartbreaking flashback, that one fucked me up i love it) and she goes out to leave it somewhere in the woods with it all ending with her walking away from the guitar that Joel gave her to symbolize her letting him go. idk man something like that, still not that open ended, but i’m just talking out of my ass rn
anyway that’s not how it went so we’ll stick to reality.
an open ending isn’t supposed to be unsatisfying, because that’s what this ending was. Part I does an open ending perfectly as we still get closure even though we don’t know exactly how things go afterwards (until now obviously).
after playing from Abby’s perspective for so goddamn long, it was weird to play as Ellie again, even while it was also a relief, and that makes me really sad. in the end, i did feel bad for Abby when she was literally left to starve and “hang” (but again i didn’t need 15+ hours in order to feel basic sympathy).
from the way they wrote the story, i knew Ellie wasn’t going to let it go and she was going to leave Dina and JJ. it made sense and i don’t think it was out of character for her, but the fact they did that in the first place and that Abby was the one to let go first? Abby got her revenge, she killed Joel, but Ellie never got that closure so of course she was going to go after Abby.
in the very end, Ellie is left with no one and Abby still has Lev and a group of fireflies to run to. Ellie’s biggest fear was being alone as she said in the first game, but that’s exactly what she’s left with. yeah life is unfair and i do like that the consequences feel real in this story, but i don’t think Ellie deserved to be done so damn dirty while Abby is living her best life. sure all of Abby’s friends were murdered because of Ellie and Dina leaving is Ellie’s own fault and i don’t blame Dina, but i mean we have no idea what happens to Ellie after this, where she goes. it at least feels like she’s on the road to eventually being relatively okay, as okay as you can be in this world.
i can’t completely articulate how i feel about this ending, even after three days having finished playing. all i do know is that while it’s realistic how Ellie’s story ended, i would’ve liked for Abby to get the same treatment. for her to not actually find the fireflies through the radio and escape from the Rattlers only to have no where to go so that, just like Ellie, revenge cost her everything and we don’t know where she went after.
maybe because Abby’s story was pretty much wrapped up and Ellie’s wasn’t, they’re planning for a trilogy, but i guess we’ll see.
the tldr;
this game has all the elements it needed to be amazing overall imo, i just wish they were all utilized Better. the reason it’s so hard to figure out how i feel about this game is because it has so much potential that just never came through and i’m really jealous of all the people who were blown away by this story. it’s still a good game though, but a 7/10 seems too high and 6/10 seems to low. ig it’s a 6.5/10 for me.
thanks for reading if you made it this far

Hello!!! I wanna ask question about art... improvent... thing??? I'm not professional like you but I like drawing! I'm re-drawing artist's art these days (I tried your draw your papyton and I failed so hard sob) and I'm thinking to buy graphic tablet. Can you give me some advice and your thoughs about this sitution? You know these kind of things~~
There’s a lot of stuff regarding art that I can cover so being a little more specific really helps. Otherwise, here’s a few tips I can offer up on the fly.
1.) Drawing is a skill. It’s like sport. You have to practice regularly. Your wrists require the proper muscle memory to draw a line with weight and direction. And you have to train your brain and eyes to know what something should look like. I’ve been drawing seriously since I was like, twelve. I’m twenty now, most of this practice has been built up over time.
2.) I feel like I should get the elephant out of the room by saying that in order to improve your art, one of the things you definitely should not be doing is redraws of other people’s art. There are free stock photos and that are available to be used as reference pictures that are specifically suited to help artist with drawing dynamic poses. SenshiStock has some of the best ones that I know of. If you can’t find the photo you’re looking for, grab a mirror and make the pose. It’s cheap, easy, and studying your own anatomy helps a lot, I promise.
^^^THE PROPER WAY TO USE A REFERENCE. It trains your eyes to measure the composition in the frame and you practice body shapes in the process.
Plus, You get a better sense of human body proportions and weight. You want to draw beautiful people, you gotta accept the sub-par people too! We can’t all be skinny flawless anime characters, that’s not how it works. (Side note, studying anime it ok. More than ok even. I have a ton of manga that I keep just so I can study the art. But note that most mangaka studied traditional human anatomy before exaggerating they style, BASICS FIRST!)
(Side-Side note: When I say study, I mean asking yourself “What about this do I like and how do I apply that to my art?”)
3.) If you want to learn stylistic tricks like how someone colors a page or the cartoons vs realistic art, most people will give step by steps and tutorials. @xamag was and still is my primary senpai. I was heckin jealous of her art when I was in high school, but I knew that I did not what my art to be exactly like hers, I just wanted a better grip on color and composition. I watched a lot of her speedpaints and adjusted my brush settings to get closer to what I wanted.
4.) Draw in stages. It’s important to layout where the essential parts are before diving into details. Stick figures with circle marked for the head, ribs, and hips always help. Try using a light brush and go darker with each new layer.
The tablet I use today is over five years old. It’s a tiny wacom intuos that I bought for 75$ from my first real commission. It’s a bit rough around the edges but it works perfectly fine and I can’t afford to upgrade right now. Learning to draw with a tablet takes a bit of an adjustment vs learning to draw on paper.
Also, you’re tablet is only as good as your art program. Most graphic designers use Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. Most illustrators will use stuff like Paint tool Sai, Manga studio or the like. It really just depends.
Final Note: Don’t try to shoot for that renaissance level skill. Just pick something you struggle with and study it for like an hour. (Like HANDS. Draw the hands people, stop hiding the hands!)

2017 Recap Part 1: LTTPs
::UPDATE:: Added DARIUSBURST: Chronicle Saviours!
It’s time we acknowledged there are too damned many games, and too many of them are spectacular. If nuclear war breaks out tomorrow and all video game production ceases permanently, I’ve still got a mountain of unplayed masterpieces high enough to keep me entertained until death, even if I manage to immigrate to an underground survival vault and only die of natural causes many decades later.
Unless that happens, I fear I’ll never even come close to playing ‘em all. I certainly didn’t play all of 2017’s must-plays in 2017. I did, however, catch up on a few greats from years past. Here are my favorite non-2017 games I played in 2017.
The Last Guardian
Despite spending the better part of a decade acting like an absentee father, The Last Guardian so splendidly averted disappointing me—and on the heels of a year whose running theme was disappointment—that it almost mended some deep, long-broken thing inside my soul—the part that is always whispering, “Expect the worst.” My 2016 sure could’ve used TLG at the end of it, but as it stands, it made for a strong start to 2017. I could follow that sentence with a lot of cynical things about how 2017 turned out, but as far as gaming is concerned, 2017 was one of the most triumphant years in recorded history.
I already wrote at length about my experience with The Last Guardian, but I’ll just reiterate the main takeaway: the game made me feel a personal connection with an in-game character. This is something almost all modern games attempt and fail at (for me). In TLG, connecting with Trico is the game. You achieve the connection through doing and experiencing—not through watching conversations unfold or making superficial dialogue selections. In this way, it demonstrates a base understanding of the merits of the video game medium that I feel many modern games miss. Fumito Ueda’s oft-noted influence from Another World is clear to see here; the action is the story, and Trico and the Boy’s evolving relationship is almost a wholesale recreation of that between Another World’s protagonist and alien buddy (Ico of course did this as well, right down to the hanging cage escape). The Last Guardian and Another World should both be required playing for aspiring designers or anyone who wants to better understand the medium.

Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag
Ubisoft, to me, is the headquarters of Western game design. I can’t believe how big and feature-rich and user-friendly their games are. They are less “games,” more comprehensive simulations of specific identity fantasies, like “assassin” or “hacker” or “Italian.” They want to let you do everything.
But also, they want to be the user’s best friend. They will betray their own painstakingly achieved immersion if it means letting the player cram a little more fun into the two hours a week they have to dedicate to gaming between work, parenting, studying, and such.
That is why in Ghost Recon: Wildlands—ostensibly a game about US grunts gittin’ ‘er done and surviving the Bolivian wilderness—still lets you teleport anywhere at will, or change your loadout or upgrade your arsenal at any time, from anywhere, with no explanation. The explanation is understood: “It’s supposed to be fun.” I respect these decisions. Games are fun when they’re fun.
The problem is that many of their games are peppered with shallow activities which employ the cheap but powerful thrill of checklist psychology, and after awhile all their different franchises start to feel like one ongoing subscription to Highlights Magazine. How many Ubi games are going to challenge me to climb a tower that was designed only to be climbed? Is this any more a challenge than connecting a series of numbered dots in the order they’re numbered?
And yet, part of me still loves climbing those damn towers.
Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag is very much a Ubisoft Highlights Magazine game, but it’s also gaming’s quintessential pirate simulator and as such, one of gaming’s most distinct and necessary sandboxes. Pirates, like cowboys and ninjas and sneaker hedgehogs, were just meant to be a video game premise, and just as Red Dead Redemption did for cowboys, Black Flag lets you live out just about any pirate fantasy Hollywood might have planted in your childhood brain. Until Ubi makes a sequel, that makes Black Flag THE pirate game, as well as Assassin’s Creed’s most deviant installment (full disclosure: it’s the only one I’ve spent significant time with, but I am pretty sure I’m right). Your being an assassin feels like merely a convenient side effect of being a bloodthirsty pirate, leaving you free to focus on more thrilling pursuits like sieging island fortresses and rope-swinging onto enemy ships to singlehandedly thin out their crew to the point of surrender. What a joyous fantasy they have created here.

Yakuza 5 (and 4)
I bought Yakuza 5 in Japan in 2014 after hearing part of the game takes place in my beloved Nagoya. (Go Dragons!) Well, I sat on that copy of Yakuza 5 until PlayStation Plus subscribers received both Yakuza 4 and 5 for free, and then I sat on it some more. At the start of 2017, as Yakuza 0 released and the series finally started to get the praise it probably deserved in the West, I suddenly remembered that these games were supposed to be good, and that part of 5 takes place in Nagoya, and finally I vowed to play through 5 before the end of 2017. 2017 is ending now, and I still haven’t done that. If I were a yakuza, I guess I’d have to like, lose a pinky joint or something.
I did try. But I figured I should start with Yakuza 4 to minimize my knowledge gap, and then it turned out that these games are tremendously long. Yakuza 4 was pretty fun sometimes, and also malevolently tedious at others. I found myself annoyed with the things I expected to like and quite taken with the things I expected to find insipid. Though the combat had its charms, it also had lots of annoying shit that made it feel bad. Lots of things knock you down, and getting up takes one thousand real-life years. Grappling is almost completely useless after the first couple hours. Critical elements which shouldn’t be locked behind an upgrade wall, are.
On the other hand, the hostess club minigame, which I fully expected to be an embarrassing blemish on the experience which ensured I would never be able to play the game with my wife in the room, turned out to be weirdly tasteful and compelling. I started the tutorial mission with my eyes rolling, and five minutes later my wife and I were having an earnest, spirited discussion about how we should do so-and-so’s makeup.
Unfortunately, Yakuza 4 suffers from some pretty severe obtuseness. By the time I took control of the third protagonist, I was more interested in pursuing the hostess club subplot than the main storyline (which was surprisingly engaging but simply too long and twisty). But early on in the hostess club questline, a colleague sends you to the streets to hustle for new customers, giving you only the vaguest hints about where to go and what to do. After a full hour of fruitlessly patrolling points A, B, and C in search of anything worthwhile, I just gave up on the whole thing and ended up rushing through the rest of the game. When I finished, I was bewildered to learn that I had only completed “2%” of the game. Two percent?! Welllll fuck it.
Anyway, I did start Yakuza 5 and was delighted at how immediately better it looked and felt than its predecessor. I’m still in the first area with the first protagonist (of freaking FIVE), but the fighting is already more fun, and the dumb side stuff more readily accessible. And above all else, it does something I’ve never seen in a video game: it gives you a car, but demands that you follow the rules of the road. I don’t understand the science or the psychology here--but it’s fun.
Maybe in 2018 I’ll see Nagoya.

Castlevania Chronicles
I distinctly remember this game reviewing kind of poorly in certain publications, for the crimes of being too hard and too old-fashioned. The reviews also mentioned it was a port and a reworking of a remake of the original Castlevania which had first appeared on something called the X68000, and that was all convoluted enough to scare me away for the next sixteen years, despite very good box art.
I finally checked it out this year after grabbing it on a PSN sale for between one and two bucks, and now it seems to me that the “Arrange Mode” version of the game is actually one of the more fair and visually attractive moments in Classic Castlevania. A nice way to fill the ongoing Castlevania void (though I’m pretty sure that void is permanent).

DARIUSBURST: Chronicle Saviours
Shoot-‘em-ups are the jazz of video game genres. Without ‘em, none of the other stuff that followed would’ve happened, but you still sound like a boring old dinosaur when you start name-dropping the old hits, and to be any good at them you have to be some kind of crazed savant with a mechanical brain and clockwork fingers. Or at least that’s the image.
Like jazz, shoot-‘em-ups still occupy a tiny, neglected corner of the party like obligatory chaperones. Most of the time they cost too much to convert anyone who isn’t already a fan of the genre, or even secure a sale from anyone with less than a hardcore personal investment in saving them from extinction. At least jazz has public-funded radio to work with. Shmups come out about once per decade per franchise, but the new ones still slip onto shelves at a full $59.99 price point as though they’re just like any other modern gaming franchise. To borrow a jazz lyric, something’s gotta give something’s gotta give something’s gotta give.
DARIUSBURST first came out on PSP, where I guess it was just a standard Darius, meaning you were a spaceship that shot exclusively at flying robot sea creatures. The Vita/PS4/PC upgrade, Chronicle Saviours, is by far the most justified shmup I’ve played of the last couple generations. It is fun, visually slick, digestible, and brimming with fan service for your shmuploving grampa.
I’ve only bothered with the Chronicle Saviours version of the game, which divides everything into little bite-sized branching missions on a progression tree, and every attempt you make awards points which can be used to buy ships, each of which changes the core gameplay mechanics in some way.
I like that the missions are so tiny and boss-centric. Many of them are just bosses, and although you repeat the same bosses over and over, they are such awesome sights to behold and so challenging to master that I am game for the repetition. The bosses also all seem to have variant types similar to Monster Hunter, and come to think of it, this is sort of the Monster Hunter of shmups. Lots of games are now the Monster Hunter of something.
Chronicle Saviours also introduces the “Burst Counter,” a risk-reward mechanic which challenges you to time a beam shot in sync with the enemy’s beam shot. When you succeed, your reward is a clash of beams that makes you feel like a ninja dueling atop a tightrope.
The thing that first sold me on the game—and I’ve never said this before ever—was the DLC. What Taito has done is just released a bunch of content packs which pay homage to beloved shmups of old, divided by publisher. There’s a Sega pack, a Capcom pack—even a Taito pack. Each one gives you access to old ships inspired by all the games that made me a shmuploving dinosaur in the first place—Layer Section, Space Harrier, Section Z, and on and on. And when I say “inspired,” I mean they use the actual names of the games and ships and stick those other games’ shooting mechanics into DARIUSBURST. It’s an unexpectedly explicit and thorough ode to some decades-old classics. Something about seeing a Layer Section logo in HD in 2017 (though Chronicle Saviours came out in 2015) feels like a triumph over the odds, like hearing your favorite unknown band on the soundtrack to a summer blockbuster or hit TV series.

Earth’s Dawn
In a year in which I failed to play several of the most lauded games which released, including several that I already owned, it is downright silly that I made any time for Earth’s Dawn, which is an indie Japanese niche action title, but on second thought, I’m exactly the person who should’ve made time for Earth’s Dawn. That said, I only played it for a single session. Still, it’s weird and cool enough to deserve mention here, especially since it has been completely invisible since its release to PSN in 2016.
Earth’s Dawn is a 2D action game with bite-sized, quest-based progression and a loot and crafting system, all of which echo games like Monster Hunter. I keep seeing it compared to Metroidvanias, but this is a superficial comparison based solely on its being 2D and having a map. Metroidvanias are about exploration of unknown terrain. Earth’s Dawn is about fighting different enemy types and formations on a series of quickly learnable, compact boards, and getting resources for your trouble. It’s Monster Hunter. More accurately still, it's Mercenary Kings. It's really not Metroid at all.
The combat feels like many of the recent wave of 2D “jugglers” like Odin Sphere or Shank or The Dishwasher. Honestly, I don’t ask for much more than that, but the game also has some pretty slick, colorful art, and a compelling cherry-on-top twist on its familiar structure: a countdown timer sits at the top of your mission and upgrade hub (just a set of menus), clicking down as you attempt to upgrade your character through missions and crafting. Once the timer expires, you must attempt a “Counter-Offensive” mission, which is a little meatier than your standard missions and culminates with a boss fight. So the game becomes a race to strengthen yourself enough to take on the boss before the timer runs out. This is reminiscent of one of my all-time favorites, Valkyrie Profile, and a clever way to give the entire experience a greater sense of importance and purpose, and also help prevent endless grinding.
Earth’s Dawn is just pretty enough, slick enough, and weird enough. Decidedly Lacquerware.

Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae
Two things are true of all my favorite combat-driven action games: 1) they give me an actual, literal adrenaline boost, and 2) they would be just as fun in a blank chamber with no such thing as level design.
MKH tests and supports this claim. It makes me wonder if games like Devil May Cry are actually any better for all their exposition and exploration and platforming. MKH is much like other "stylish action" or "character action" games, but dispenses entirely with the levels. All you do is cut suckas on a flat circle of terrain. But the combat is so fun and satisfying, the minimalism just means a faster track to that adrenaline kick. I played through MKH in one sitting and immediately began another.
2017 was a great comeback year for flashy melee action, but MKH may well have been the only respectable installment in the genre in 2016 (PS4 release). Any fans of the genre would be remiss not to play it.

Lost Planet 2
I’ve been a vocal LP2 fan since shortly after its release in 2010, so I'm technically not late to this party at all, but I need to toot its horn again. It is one of Capcom’s more misunderstood titles and came right at the brink of Capcom’s several-year-long identity crisis, which caused shit like Operation Raccoon City and DmC to happen (for the record: I love DmC). But I maintain an assertion that much of the game’s criticism was the result of misplaced expectations; people thought they were getting a space marine shooter—instead they got Monster Hunter with rad future shit, but in 2010 everybody here still hated Monster Hunter. I suspect the world is a lot more ready for LP2’s wild ride now than they were then, and the about-to-be-massive-success of Monster Hunter: World is all the proof you need.
I replayed LP2 in its entirety this year. Twice. I’m still unlocking new stuff, and most of it is cool: most recently, I got some grenades that let you open portals where you throw them (kind of like the portal gun in Portal), a shotgun that shoots confetti (and does more damage than any other shotgun), and a whole bunch of goofy dance emotes. I could (and eventually will) gush at great length about LP2, but for now I’ll just say that, yet again, it was one of the most enjoyable gaming experiences of the year. The Lost Planet games are the only internally-developed Capcom games of the previous generation that haven’t been rereleased, so, uh, we can probably expect an eventual rerelease. Yay! If I'm right, this time don’t miss it.
Next up: Bests of 2017!

Octane Review Plus Free Profit Method🛑And Custom Bonuses what's up internet marketers is it-- pause and this is my octane review slash tutorial where i'm gonna show you how to profit online with Creative Commons videos that's what this software is based on so you have the option to make make it easy on yourself and get the software or do it yourself and you're gonna see why it's a very tedious process but it is a viable way to profit online people are doing it using podcasts ok not they're not even creating their own podcast there they're using Creative Commons videos which might be about a certain podcast people are using this for for background music with nature videos cashing in with Adsense cashing in with launch jacking cash cashing in by bringing traffic into their funnels and all different types of niches people are profiting on online right now ok by not even not even showing themselves on camera ok they're using other people's videos ok and all they gotta do is edit it put it together and match it up with a nice keyword low competition high high traffic keyword and you know reap the benefits or you can use octane I want to explain everything within this video you're gonna want to watch this to its entirety because I'm gonna go over of course this this free tutorial explaining exactly how to do it why you might want to use octane and I'm gonna go over sales page of custom bonuses on providing ok you also want to check out my page here down below where I have not only my octane review but I also have my complete tutorial ok step-by-step tutorial on how this works and how if you'd like to do you can try it out yourself ok ok so before I get into the into the tutorial I want to talk about this software I want to talk about the the videos within the within the guide ok so let's get down to actually let's get down to the sales page first because I think it's important that we and the sales page to see if it's to see if it's realistic or not okay a lot of times something some marketers might exaggerate even though the products good they might exaggerate what you can expect some realistic expectations are not met sometimes they say all kinds of wild stuff let's see this is a case here octane so powerful should be illegal okay ethically steel content from the internet and turn it into passive income in three clicks okay now yeah you are ethically but you're not stealing because these videos are what are what are called Creative Commons videos they this is a type of public domain license which enables you anyone to take these videos from whatever from wherever they are if they're Creative Commons and edit them to whatever any way you want and repurpose them for whatever you'd like okay so these videos are like ingredients to your own video you think of it that way okay so you're not actually stealing and it is it is ethical so this is correct and yes in three different clicks you can actually that's I think you're referring to this area here the video editor within octane but I want to get to that later so I think they're talking about that so yeah this is definitely true and they're not exaggerating with that okay now people this is a proven model you can go right now on YouTube and for example if you familiar with the Joe Rogan experience a lot of a lot of the videos there are a Creative Commons so people will actually take these videos put an intro an outro or something like that and match them up with it with a low competition keyword and get that traffic and either profit with Adsense profit with like I said affiliate offers or put that traffic into the funnel and you know send off for as little by little okay but I'm getting ahead of myself let's go over these bullet points okay and remember I'm what I'm gonna give you a free tutorial towards the end of this video so you gonna wanna watch this video I don't care how long it takes you're gonna learn a lot in here okay now first bullet point Harper sent newbie friendly yes that's that's the crux of octane or that that's the main benefit is to be friendly right because I'm gonna show you what it takes to make this profitable if you don't use octane okay so if you want to go that route that's that's up to you but you're gonna want to stick around and learn about not only my method but my custom bonus is here the upgrades and all the reasons why octane is really cool okay let's get back so it's a 100 unethical to use yes it is you can like I said use any video under the Creative Commons public domain license and use it any way you want free traffic built-in I don't know I don't understand what they mean by free traffic built in I imagine they're talking about the video will get you traffic right because you put it up there and you match up with a keyword again low competition high volume low competition high traffic high search volume keyword and you should get traffic that word that's the point of this okay so I think that's what they mean when they say free traffic built in these videos again are getting traffic free really important stuff no techy stuff that's really cool and yes yes you're gonna see in a little bit on how this software works instant content this is also true 5 30 minutes per system or poor video I think they're talking about the videos ok so I like the sales page it's not overly high P it's it's grounded in what what what octane actually does good stuff so octane is basically two components not only is it the software but it's also the tutorial guide okay and it's it's you know it's very straightforward you have an overview of how octane works works basically what I mentioned okay I'm gonna give you again don't forget to stay for the video because I'm gonna give you a step-by-step tutorial guy okay if you if you think Octane's not right for you or if you're thinking about it and you want to know what it takes that to actually make this function without octane you don't want to stick around the overview on how we're basically what I talked about how to use octane it's a video showing you how to use octane very simple to use that's the idea it's newbie friendly right then you have the profit training you have three different ways of Prophet with octane the first one here is I believe Jonah talks about using Amazon Associates Program and Clickbank okay the second one here anytime it comes up here the second one here if I can remember one second okay the the first one is Amazon and click back the the third one here is funnels funnels using using a funnel getting getting the traffic into a elite Magnus or into a squeeze page providing a lead magnet and they actually give you 35 proven lead magnet or you can use for yourself and converting that traffic through your funnel okay but the second profit method I'm not mistaken you only need to call is with oh yeah okay yes now remember the second profit method is launched acting right so basically finding a product that's coming this coming real soon and getting getting a Creative Commons piece of video and repurposing it for that for that launch so you can get that traffic arm coming down to your affiliate offer right that's that's what are these three profit methods are then repeat that again just in case you didn't get that the first profit method is using affiliate offers off of Amazon Associates that that can be done in any niche and click back again can be done in any niche now Amazon Associates again it's physical products where Clickbank is digital products profit method number two is how to use octane for launch jacking I forgot I'm sorry and profit method number three is how to use launch Jack gasser how to use octane these repurposed common Creative Commons videos to get traffic in your funnel now out of the three I recommend the third one the advanced one right you want to get traffic you want to control that traffic you want to build a relationship with that traffic but I'm getting ahead of myself that's that's for another time in another time video and then the last video is more features about octane okay the tutorial is very straightforward very easy there's also three bonuses here the first bonus is Joe know John was one of the one of the one of the people behind octane it's his YouTube ranking system okay and the third the second one here is let me see if mom is taking the fuego multiplier it's it's a past course that they created on using retargeted traffic and the third bonus here is launch jacking okay how he does how Jonna does launch jacking you know without other people's videos just like just like if you if you're watching this video now I might be getting traffic from the octane launch as this products being launched you know I'm gathering that traffic here I'm explaining of course you have to provide value have to explain and that's why I'm gonna explain to you why or sorry how this octane system works if you want to try it out for yourself without the software okay so let me get into my custom bonuses first okay so these are my custom bonuses and you could only get these bonuses if you visit this page below okay really important stuff here let's go over my custom boards number one free software that finds low competition keywords tags specifically for YouTube now as you can imagine octane maybe you could say that you're creating content for YouTube now there there are keyword free tools that I'll be talking about soon but I got one that's free okay and it's specifically for YouTube and how to use it you don't want you're gonna want to check that out next one youtube channel art that will increase your subscriber count I have a I got some I got two templates in particular that you're gonna add on to your channel to help you increase your subscribers okay the more subscribers you have the more people get notified about new videos you create the more traffic you get again sorry the more targeted traffic you get and the more potential turn that traffic into leads and sales important stuff next one again again back to subscribers my secure method to get more subscribers to your channel okay there is a kind of a sneaky way I can use to get subscribers you're gonna like that that's custom bonus number three number custom bonus number four the two most important methods to get your videos to rank for longtail keywords this is a case study and profit proof okay so I'm gonna give you both I'm gonna explain well you need to be doing a video that's different from a a blog post that's different from a Pinterest image what you need to be doing a video to get higher rankings okay I'm gonna give you a case study and profit proof with that and bonus number five my custom mother's number five how to get a thousand real subscribers who want your content okay fast I forgot to mention fast but yeah I mean faster than usual I should say so you're gonna want to get this because your first thousand is really important because because then it you have like something of a snowball effect you get more and more and more which is really cool okay plus all the bonuses that come with octane and there are others that I'm not mentioning here that that other marketers are gonna talk about you're gonna get those as well so don't worry okay so you're gonna get my custom bonuses the bonus as I mentioned within octane and the bonuses that send me exclusive bonuses okay so let's get into octane software okay octane software is this right here this is uh this is a dashboard I'm sorry this is what you want to go to first you click that you click for the YouTube videos here and you can search by URL search by key where you want to search by keyword okay let's put in for example keto diet okay okay I'll diet now this is gonna go through all of the Creative Commons videos within okay and you can choose between from all of these different videos okay Creative Commons let's say we choose this one here and then we're gonna edit the video you what you want to do is edit the video really important stuff okay it's gonna take some time well let's go back let's search that again let's see if we can let's see we can get here this time let's choose this one okay now it's working finally good want to pause that okay now it's important it's really important you don't want to get duplicate content on to YouTube it's very very important so you can use these Creative Commons videos but you need to edit them so that you have something unique okay so what this is what octane does for newbies this is really important for movies you can do it easily easily with an octane you don't have to download anything you can trim the video you can add a different title like you know stuff like that so let's put in let's let's trim it down to three seconds just for example sake hello test and trim video so the process may take a few minutes during this time I wanna I want to go and I want to show you what this method is all about step by step tutorial guide ok I'll correct x timing in seconds that's five zero okay I want to make sure this works before I move on to my tutorial for you because I'm gonna give you a step by step guide how to find keywords how to make sure that you have there's a little competition how to find low competition keywords how to match it up with the videos that you're looking for so that you can you can actually get some videos what these correctly please enter the correct times 1.30 I got a select okay I didn't select forgive me so anyways let's go to my tutorial now okay so before I get into the upgrades my tutorial guide here okay the five-step profit method using other people's content first step before you even go looking for videos you need to do some basic keyword research I recommend you use uber suggests for this okay uber suggests go to go to over suggest and use their tool okay really important stuff uber suggests you're gonna what you're going to do is put in a niche okay I'm Nisha's is a subjective them of a market so weight-loss keto diet okay you're gonna put a mission this is a free tool Carol died what you want to do is find a keyword that adds over 500 a longtail keyword keyword that has more than three keywords in it more than 500 searches a month and and a competition score of under 20 okay and you're gonna see this with an uber suggest in any second any day now okay one second you know what I think my streaming might be interfering because kettle because this uber suggestions not working to to the way I wanted to it and neither is octane maybe one second might take a little bit this is the is what you get when you do live streaming things don't work as as its plant well you worked earlier hmm okay okay well both octane an uber suggester are stalling I'm thinking because it's my streaming I'm streaming right now and it's slowing up everything so what I'm going to do is I'm going to explain the method okay because I've done it already I've created it all for it's all down below and you can use it for yourself and check out how it works is octane does work just it's not working now and neither is ubersuggest I'm gonna give up give up on that but again who suggest is a free tool I recommend you try it out for yourself the really good tool anyways I recommend you go to over suggest the free tool like I said type in the niche with a profitable market to find a longtail keyword which has a high search volume okay so in this example I put in kettle diet and I found keto diet grocery list which has a competition score green bar of 15% and a total monthly search volume of 1200 okay so that's easy if you find the green bar with in uber suggests I mean it's easy to rank for second step type in your long tail keyword into YouTube and click the search button let's do that you want to go to youtube type in your keyword yeah this is acting slow too but you don't want to check out the information below it's a really good tutorial let's let's put in keto wow this is acting slow terrible data have a slow computer here and that's the guy that's Joyner that's one of the creators of the octan okay so you can't use this list as is you want to click filter and you you want to click filter and you want to go to creative commons okay now it's gonna filter out all the videos you can't use and give you the ones that you can use the creative common ones okay you're gonna want to match up the videos select the videos that you know deal with your keyword your keto diet grocery list okay so kettle first kettle grocery shopping that's definitely one what's another one my five-day cheap title diet okay so basically five dollars refers to things that he or she is buying so definitely you can match them up and put those together okay so there are the two videos you're gonna be choosing based on our research so far okay after after you choose those keywords as you can see my tutorial down below you can you get that information down below okay after your creative commons IRA's videos are selected you're going to need to edit them so that they're unique important you can put in an outro you need to put some of these features in an outro and intro text background music voiceovers images these are some of the elements you should put in so that you can make it unique you don't want to upload like I said duplicate content on to YouTube they're gonna be angry at you you don't want to do that really important stuff so I use as my video editor I use AVS it's a paid one there's an image of it this is me at a at a dim sum restaurant here in Japan anyways editing if you're not used to it it's gonna take a little bit of time that's why this is another reason why I opted ain't such a beautiful thing like I said forgive me for the technical difficulties neither neither octane or Ruby this is working right now who would suggest you to try it for yourself it's a free tool and octane it does work you have used it before but it's not working right now I think it's because of my streaming my live streaming right now anyways let me turn it off so as for free video editors I think long shot is enough a free video editor free video editor the it's I think I think definitely you can go to google and search for some thing one called long shot is a reputable free video editor but I can't speak on that I use AVS okay so that's a paid one okay so that's part of the toriel after you get the videos you want to edit them to make it unique to you upload them and this is important the fifth step you want to optimize the videos with your long tail keyword make sure to add the long tail keyword to your title description and tags don't forget to - don't forget to even to add even more related keywords to your tags section for more possible views remember your new video is comprised of proven videos that are that already do well within YouTube that's the thing with octane or sorry or creative common videos these videos have already succeeded if you if you found them via search that means they're doing well already so they're like I said here they're comprised of proven videos you wanna you want to work and use those creative common videos and you know attach your new keyword your low comp keyword to it okay and there are many ways a Proctor with this again a funnel with related offers you can send that traffic to a landing page with a related offer you can you can wait a while and get approved for Adsense now again this is where these are where my my custom bonuses come in you have the way I I recommend getting a thousand real subscribers this will lead to this will lead you to get admitted to Adsense much faster adsense is again if you don't know YouTube's and Google's ad platform so that's how you can generate you can monetize videos without doing anything is with ads right and you want to get approved to that as fast as possible then you want to build up that subscriber base quickly okay yeah so that's how you want to do it on your own you know all these steps or what I recommend is you use octane now again it sucks it's not working First Impressions: Breath of the Wild
Well, it’s been about for about 24 hours so I think I can thrust my opinion into the world preliminarily. that’s a word shut up also since this is first impressions everything has a * after it that says “so far”
My experience with 8 hours of Breath of the Wild is a lot of things, and very little of it is disappointment/ frustration.
Gameplay: 10/10
This game is just so fun to play. IF you can imagine it, you can probably do it. I’ve done some hilarious stuff with the many tools they give you, and that’s something I can really grow to like: Instead of staggering out each upgrade throughout the whole game where you start out as a peasant with a stick and end as a god with an arsenal of weapons and magic at your disposal, the game equips you as if you were a traveler with some slight upper hand via technology- you have bad armor, your weapons break, you have to cook and eat food and potions to survive, there are enemy's that WILL kill you if you aren’t careful (just in the 8 hours I’ve played I’ve seen the game over screen more times than in any other Zelda i’ve played). You just go out there, and have fun! I run across random set pieces and bosses and dungeons everywhere. The world is GIGANTIC, and none of it feels like an empty wasteland with nothing to do (so far).
Graphics: For what it’s worth, 10/10
Considering you’re basically playing this on a slightly large phone, the graphics are impressive- the framerate has very few stuttering issues, and the high quality textures and resolution honestly impressed me. This is more of a Switch thing, but still- It honestly feels like I’m playing a full power Wii U game on a small tablet. Of course, on the TV it’s great as well but that’s not really what I’m concerned about with the Switch
Storyline: 8/10 (minor spoilers)
The story is, unfortunately, “Ganon”, but the prospect of ominous ancient technology, a huge open world with hundreds of side quests and areas that have no purpose other than just “Go out there and explore!”, the many races and peoples and personalities throughout the world, and the hilarious dialogue more than makes up for it. The sense of adventure in this game is incredible, something I haven’t experienced since.. probably, Skyrim.
Concerns:
Story is too “Ganon”- sure, without the main characters and names it’s not even a Zelda game anymore (aside from the shrine quests which feel like mini compact dungeons, which, by the way, is amazing and captures how Zelda has been needing to feel for years), but I still wish the story was a little more original than “Ganon came back again! gotta stop him!” Although I’m sure there are plenty of plot twists that will surprise me.
I don’t want things to get repetitive- I’ve seen the same exact monster camp except in a different location twice already just within the first two areas. Also, the tutorial/demo area worries me because of how jam packed with gameplay mechanics it is- I hope it doesn’t stop feeling fresh and exciting when you’re exploring the rest of the world and realized you’ve already done everything you can do in the tutorial area.
Also, the trailer for the game actually holds a LOT OF spoilers if you pay attention and re watch it after the first few hours of gameplay, so don’t do that.
EDIT AFTER ANOTHER LIKE 15 HOURS OF GAMEPLAY:
Things are not repetitive very much actually, there was a legit reason behind the “same enemy camp” thing i mentioned earlier that I had not thought about, and I haven’t seen any dupes besides that.
Also, turns out I was totally wrong about the trailer kind of. I think. It’s hard to explain so just forget I said that it’s still cool
Conclusions:
It’s not even a system exclusive and it’s a system seller.
I highly recommend it- their goal was to revitalize the series by making Zelda something we didn’t expect, and make it feel fresh and new, and by goodness they certainly achieved that, on a GIGANTIC massive scale. It’s pretty freaking amazing so far, I give it a 5/5 as of now.

Leon Tran/ WP Plugin:Get Millions of Free Stock Photos Review By Mike Prevatt
Leon Tran/ WP Plugin:Get Millions of Free Stock Photos Review By Mike Prevatt
Posted on January 18, 2019 by Mike
Welcome back to another great software review! In this installment, we’re going to review WP Plugin: Get Millions of Free Stock Photos. My name is Mike Prevatt.
I’ll be revealing the pros and cons of this new software by Leon Tran in an effort to give you the full story. I actually got it for my own personal use, gave it a nice, close look, and for this reason, I’ve cultivated what I’ll go ahead and say to be a quite a well-formed opinion regarding this software.
Honestly, I’d say that Leon Tran has both its pros and cons. We’ll certainly get to those in just a moment.
But just remember, should you go ahead and order Leon Tran via this linktoday, you’ll get your hands on my awesome bonuses, which were created to help you make the most out of your results with WP Plugin:Get Millions of Free Stock Photos.
Can you dig it? Fantastic!
Okay, let’s continue…
WP Plugin:Get Millions of Free Stock Photos Review: What Is It and What Does It Do?
This is actually a WordPress Plugin which will function for you will work with any system that uses WordPress.
Leon actually designed this Plug In to assist you in getting millions of Royalty Free Images and easily use them inside of your WordPress posts with just 1 click .
Hopefully you can see the power of this functionality.
This may seem a bit vague. If so (text explanations will only convey so much), you’re free to get a visual representation by watching the demo video on the official product page. Things should become pretty clear to you.
But first, let me just tell you a bit more about the Plug In. After all, you want an honest-to-goodness Leon Tran review, and that’s what you’re getting. Let’s hop to it…
WP Plugin:Get Millions of Free Stock Photos: Is It Any Good?
As I’ve already mentioned, my acquisition of this. So just to be honest, I haven’t given this thing my all. With that said, on the offer page, Leon reveals that he made millions of images in only in less then a minute . Not bad, right?
So is it user friendly? Honestly, Leon Tran gets a firm a rating of 10 out of 10. Within 5 minutes , I had a pretty firm grasp of how to use it. You shouldn’t have much trouble there.
What About Training? Are There Any Tutorials?
There certainly are. They’re pretty impressive, too. Combined with my custom bonuses, these should really help you to get started using the Leon Tran Word Press Plugin with a bang!
We’ll talk about my bonuses in just a moment. First, let’s discuss the price of WP Plugin:Get Millions of free Stock Photos, any of the thank-you gifts which are included, and any n’ all upgrades that might be available for purchase right now. After that, we’ll move into the perceived positives and negatives… and at long last, I’ll reveal my unbelievable bonus offer to you.
I hope this sounds good. If so, let’s continue…
Leon Tran- How Much Does It Cost?
At the time of this review, Leon Tran is available for a mere $7 investment.
Leon is very likely to raise this price though. If it’s still this cheap when you’re reading this, now may be the time to act on this one. It’s likely that this is the lowest price it will ever be. Even still, it may be worth it at a higher price, if you’re reading this when the price has, in fact, gone up. But again, should you still be able to get it for the rock-bottom entry-level price I just told you about, I’d pick this software up immediately!
Let’s Talk About Upgrades:
Yes, there are 3 OTO’s. You can get Resale Rights for $37 , GDPR Plugin at $12 , Monster PLR at $10 .
These are “value-added” upsells, since the front-end product should work even better for you when you add these to the mix. But make no mistake, Leon Tran should still work just fine without them.
To say this differently, the main training OUGHTTA work just fine right out of the box. But… is it actually GONNA?
WP Plugin:Get Millions of Free Stock Photos… Will It Really Work?
Time for brass tacks. Is Leon Tran gonna help you build a bigger income with less time and effort? As annoying as this answer always is, I’ve simply gotta say… it really depends on you. I can tell you that, from my own experience testing this software out, it seems seriously legitimate.
WP Plugin:Get Millions of Free Stock Photos Pros:
So simple to use
You get millions of Royalty Free images with just a click of the button
60 day money back guarantee
WP Plugin:Get Millions of Free Stock Photos Cons:
After 1/25/19 price could go up daily
I don’t necessarily think that these negatives are deal breakers. Even still, I’d like to treat you to a few of my exclusive bonuses for picking up Leon Tran through my link today. Here they are…
Listen, I desperately want to know that you’ve given yourself every advantage to succeed here today! That’s the purpose that this bonus offer is intended to serve. I would never try to insult your intelligence by offering you some bogus “$25,000 value” bonus package on a piece of software that sells for only under $8 .
These high-ticket, “too-good-to-be-true” types of bonuses often contains a bunch of rehashed PLR foolishness. More often than not, these aren’t really intended to help you make more money online. Mine, on the other hand, are.
This particular software, in my opinion, seems to be well-worth the money. As such, you are encouraged to get it through my link right away. Keep in mind, the price is rising, so get in while you can.
Hopefully, you’ve found this unbiased WP Plugin:Get Millions of Free Stock Photos review useful. I’m only trying to aid you in making an awesome decision.
A lot of individuals purchase money-making software Plug In programs, but never actually use the stuff. Very few people take a piece of software and use the software to a profitable conclusion. I hope that you’re someone who is actually going to take this thing to the top.
Go ahead and buy Leon Tran right here right away and enjoy the bonuses I’ve prepared for you. You’ll be glad you did.
Thanks again!
