only one of those didnt come out this year, and it wasnt in my top ten at all until its 1 year anniversary happened and i listened to it a bunch of times, like over and over and over lol. the numbers of times ive listened to each of these arent that important, lastfm only scrobbles (records?) when i listen on spotify or youtube (i have a chrome extension that links it with youtube) on desktop, not on mobile, and ive listened to a lot of these a lot of times on mobile lol. also i didnt make a lastfm account until like a week before scream came out in mid february, so ‘so what’ should actually be higher since i listened to that a lot in the period juuuust before i made the account. i dont think anything i listened to in january would be in the top ten lol. i guess picky picky would be higher but... yeah. lol. 
i mean look at how fucking far ahead scream is, jesus christ lol... but that’s accurate, i mean, yeah, i’ve listened to this song a lot, to put it mildly. dazzle dazzle has been number 2 basically since it came out but i actually dont listen to it that often these days, that’s why endless night’s about to pass it, and i think it’ll drop further as the year goes on too. i like it, but it’s just not my favorite weki meki song i guess.

Chaeyoung smiled wide as she watched Sana enter the cafe, bright-eyed as always. She allowed herself a few seconds to simply stare before snapping out of it, waving, and getting back to the order she was currently working.
After she finished with it, she quickly wrote down Sana’s order, knowing it would be the same as always. Trying hard to get through the next couple of orders fast, she started on Sana’s before the girl even got to the counter. 
When she did, she greeted the younger with a wide smile. Chaeyoung couldn’t help but admire how her cheeks plumped up, causing her eyes to turn into crescents with her honey orbs slightly shining through. “Good morning, Chaengie!” 
“Morning, Sana! The usual?” 
“Of course.” The older woman pulled out her wallet. Chaeyoung quickly grabbed the order, already having it prepared for her. 
“One iced matcha latte with almond milk in place of coconut milk and a dash of pineapple juice and a cinnamon scone, warm but not hot.”
“You know me well!” 
“It’s not like it’s what you order every weekday or anything.” 
“Yeah, but how many customers do you get a day? Because from where I’m standing, it looks like a lot.”
“True, but none of them are quite like you.” Sana giggled in response.
“If I didn’t know better, I’d think you’re flirting,” the older said. Chaeyoung bit her tongue, choosing her next words carefully. 
“Maybe you don’t know better, then.” She studied Sana’s expression for any signs of discomfort or distaste.
“Well, if that’s the case,” she grabbed a napkin and reached over to steal a pen out of Chaeyoung’s apron, scribbling numbers on the napkin. “Here.” Sana grabbed her order after putting some cash down. “I have to get going, early meeting. Use the number whenever and put the change in the tip jar. Bye, Chaengie!” 
Chaeyoung was frozen as she watched Sana walk away with a bounce in her step, stiffly waving with her mouth agape. Someone clearing their throat behind her was the only thing to snap her out of it.
“Are you gonna stand there like a statue all day or actually do your job? I hired Chaeyoung, not David.” Chaeyoung turned around quickly, bowing apologetically.
“Sorry, Jeongyeon. I was just a little shocked.” Chaeyoung carefully slipped the napkin into her pocket and got back to what she was doing. It was still early, but she could already tell the day would be long.

Working from open until close is always exhausting, but luckily it pays time and a half. Jeongyeon is a lenient boss, despite wanting things done right. Despite this fact, twelve hours in a cafe full of wannabe hipsters and picky, middle-aged women was not how she would choose to spend her day if she had a choice.
As she unlocked the door to her apartment, she already felt ready to collapse, making it to the couch before doing so. She switched on the television and went to the fridge to grab some leftovers for dinner. 
After eating, she was about to shower when she felt something in her pocket. She pulled it out and found the napkin with Sana’s number on it. She fumbled to grab her phone, quickly punching in the numbers. 
She stood in her bathroom for nearly ten minutes, simply pondering what she wanted to send her. Biting her tongue, she typed out a short, bland message, trying not to scare away her longtime crush in a matter of one text.
‘Hey, it’s Chaeyoung!’ 
She sighed and got in the shower, making it a quick one. Once out, she checked her phone, finding no response. Sighing again, she got dressed and went to lay down. The day had been long and hard and she wanted to relax. 
She remembered a site Dahyun had told her about and opened her laptop. She carefully typed in the URL and a bright pink title popped up at the top of the screen: CandyCams. Cheesy, to say the least. The whole layout was pink and a little immature for her taste.
Pushing those thoughts to the back of her mind, she looked through the tabs: “Home; Channels; Videos; Photos; Live Cams; Community”. Chaeyoung couldn’t believe she was doing this. She clicked the ‘Live Cams’ tab and began looking for an interesting thumbnail.
Most of them seemed to have specific aesthetics. She saw some with dark, sexy vibes and others with bright and bubbly ones. She just wanted something normal. At least, that’s what she told herself.
One particular thumbnail caught her eye. The girl’s head wasn’t visible, but her body was, and boy was it perfect. She was slim, but not too much so, and she was clad in a sheer, lavender-colored babydoll lingerie set. 
Debating with herself, she bit her lip before hesitantly clicking on the link. When the cam loaded, the girl was on her bed, cutely sitting on her knees as she assumably read chat. She began speaking, her tone soft yet excitable. It was endearing how she greeted and addressed her viewers, having his sort of innocence to it.
When she listened a little more carefully, the voice became more familiar. Chaeyoung just couldn’t put her finger on it. That was until she heard her greet someone in a particular way. It clicked. Sana.
It couldn’t be her though. She doesn’t seem like the type to do this sort of thing. Then again, Chaeyoung only knew a bit about Sana from their short conversations and her coffee order. Deciding to test the theory, she pulled out her phone, typing out another text.
‘Sorry for texting you so late, I’ll see you tomorrow morning.’ She hit send and listened in carefully. A half a minute later, she heard a notification tone on the other end. Eyes widening, that basically confirmed it.
Panicked, Chaeyoung quickly closed the tab and shut her laptop. She laid down and tried to fall asleep, but her mind was much too preoccupied.
