Daniel was on his way to surprise you after a long day of work

he smelled the bouquet of pink hydrangeas before knocking on your door

knock knock

(hmm? is that the pizza guy?)

hungry; you skipped to the door to check who it was

all you saw was a bouquet of flowers through the security cam 

you slowly opened the door; hoping that it wasn’t anyone creepy 

Daniel popped out from behind the bouquet

“ta-da~ your prince has arrived~”

you went from a shocked expression to a warm smile

“what are you doing here? I thought you weren’t going to be back until Sunday...”

he hands you the flowers and grabs your face

“I wanted to surprise you~ I’ve missed you so much~”

you were typing away at your assignment

and you barely started on it

when he came to the place, he saw you waiting for him

he placed a soft kiss for a few seconds before telling you how much he missed you and how beautiful you were

once he gets to the table and sees his dad and his sister he starts to tear up

you’d be compared to him a lot as you grew up and at some point you’ll be fed up with trying to beat your brother or even reaching his level

you’re somewhat polite/cold towards him

you even address him as seongwoo-ssi because calling him oppa was out of question

sometimes when you’re feeling a bit too salty at him you’d say “orabeoni” instead which is like an olden/more polite way of saying older brother(?)

your neighbor and childhood friend, Kang Daniel got woken by your alarm

knowing that it will take you more than a text and a call to wake you up

he walks over to his window balcony
