Made a wind spinner using this pattern

I needed to give myself a break and test this as something to make to be able to sell. I still need to add a weight to the bottom and a swivel at the top, but this feels like something I can make more of in order to be able to sell at markets for my gtfo dodge/divorce my spouse fund.

Working on the cardigan today. Finally nailed down the math for buttons and got the button holes made. Only 1 more row after this and the main border is done which will leave cuffs and then that's that.

New Project, who dis?

So I'm starting this pattern

I'm using Lion Brand Mandala in Harmony and am really digging things rn

And it's all done! The only step left is blocking and that's an adventure for a different day. But it's my first hexagon cardigan and I'm so damn proud of it.

First cuff down! I mathed the maths and here we are! Now, we duplicate it on the other side.

My spouse was so kind as to pick me up a cake of Hades so I can finish this cardigan. I am starting to add length so I can make it more full length before I add the edging.

Back on my bullshit with wind spinners as something easy to make to sell. I like the purple and blue together.

So I'm working on adding a border to my cardigan, and I'm stuck bc I don't have a matching set of buttons that I can use to make the right size button holes. This means I need to make a trip to the craft store.

Whelp, now it's time to add the grey edges. I'm kinda excited. This means I'm a step closer to being done and being able to wear to the next mandatory fun event at my job.

Oh and pockets. Gonna need to add pockets and make sure my cuffs have thumb holes.

I'm adding length so it won't be a crop top. I'm aiming for more oversize and cozy.

Progress on my hexagon cardigan. I need another cake of the Mandala in Hades to extend it down to a comfy length, and then I can start on cuffs and things.

First crochet post in a while. Been struggling a lot with my mental illnesses. At my most therapy session, it was suggested that to help me with my incredibly bad habit of apologizing for everything under the sunshine to channel those emotions into crocheting or knitting at least one row of a project. So I'm doing this mandala (https://www.olgapoltava.com/blog/pink-sunset-mandala) in blue and green that I am nicknaming "all apologies"

So the goal is to channel those emotions into my yarncraft instead of taking the weight of the world on my shoulders.

I made a basket today. It's not super great but I dig it.

This is my current desk project. A dragon scale hat for my brother-in-law made out of Knitpicks Wool of the Andes. I really love the bits of silver in the green and can't wait to get some of this colorway for me.
