Nag punta kami ng mga kiddos sa Waltermart Sucat Parañaque para gamitin na yung Gift Check ko.

We haven't had out breakfast 🥣 Kaya ayun nag decide kami na mag Jollibee na lang for breakfast today.

Grabeh ang pila dito ng Jollibee blockbuster kase nga bungad din sila ng entrance left side kaagad.

So ayun na nga sobrang tagal ng pila bago ko ma reach yung counter nag order na ako pero hindi ko kinaya yung crew na ipatong sa Chicken yung mga rice 🍚 na naka balot pa. And take note huh ilang minuto yung na naka tiwangwang sa rice rack stand nila ng ilang mga minuto.

Kita naman di ba, dahil ba sa dami ng naka pila kaya parang walang kaayusan na din pati pag serve ng pag kain nila dito🙄

May proper training naman talaga ang Food Handling, pero mukhang Absent or di naka attend si crew kaya itambak na lang ang mga rice sa ibabaw ng Chicken and peg nila dito🙄

So sinabihan ko si Crew na hindi tama na ipatong nya sa Chicken na kakainin ko yung rice na may balot pa at matagal na naka tiwangwang sa rice 🍚 rack nila. It's a big NO NO talaga ang ganun...

Well, wala naman syang naisagot sa akin hindi nga sya humingi ng paumanhin din sa akin which is soooo weird lang din.

So after kong magbayad I went to our table and yeah, extra plate na hiningi ko is hindi na hugasan ng maayos. Kita naman na puro kanin kanin pa sya😏 ang sad lang kaya.

So I went back sa counter para sya mapalitan. Well yung ipinalit is wala nang kanin pero basa naman🙄. Ang weird at nagkukulangan lang talaga ako sa maayos na customer service ng mga crew nila dito na tila hindi ganun ka trained sa customer service nila. Ni hindi man lamang pinunasan yung plato na ibinigay sa akin.

I mean di ba, nag re reklamo na nga ako di ba dapat mas aayusin na nila yung ipapalit na plato. Asa ako, pero hindi kase ganun dito and just to avoid any Conflict ako na lang ang nag punas ng plato to cut off any unmet expectations ko😏

Ang sad ng ganito tapos food industry pa noh😔🙁☹️😕

With Walter Mart finally opening its doors in Paniqui, Tarlac, my high school girlfriends and I couldn't resist the urge to explore the place. We spent a fun afternoon browsing the store, picking up snacks for a food trip later. And they were thrilled to spot the infamous Samyang noodles. My friends totally freaked out and were like, "OMG, let's do the challenge!" 🥵🤣

We spent the rest of the evening at May's place and enjoyed each other's company and actually did the challenge while I'm just right there, watching them since I'm not quite a huge fan of spicy foods. lol 🤣🤣🤣

Sundae on Sunday.

It still amazes me when I think about how I got a free vanilla sundae last Sunday. I never thought I'd get a free ice cream by answering a survey (Thanks Jollibee Waltermart BC!). Eating lunch after attending the Sunday service, you could tell, I wasn't expecting anything so it really surprised me when they gave me the free sundae after answering their survey. I'm not gonna lie, it made me so happy that I took a selfie with it. :)

I don't know about you but receiving free stuff makes me happy because it's rare for me to get them. Haha. Also, I remember being so shy and anxious that I'd pray my name wouldn't get drawn on raffles just because I was afraid to go in front and get the prize. But now, I'm slowly having the confidence to participate and take the opportunity that comes my way. :>

This free ice cream is special to me. I really like to believe it's from the Lord. Hihi. To be honest, I didn't think of having lunch at Jollibee that time. I wanted to eat some siomai but my friend suggested Jollibee so I went there with her. I ordered two chocolate sundaes for me and my friend. Yep, I already had a sundae when I got a free one. Looking back, it made me feel kilig thinking that the Lord remembered me. With such simple gesture, the Lord reminded me that He knows everything about me. Vanilla is my favorite ice cream flavor and that's what I got after buying a chocolate one for myself. Hehe.

I don't know if I'm making sense but I guess all I wanted to say is that the Lord knows every single detail about us. He knows our everything—our hopes, dreams, favorites, secrets, fears, worries, failures, losses & hurts. He sees our best and our worst and still chooses to love us. He truly cares for us. He won't let us be sad for a long time. So, if you're having a bad day and you already convinced yourself that you have a bad life, I hope you let the Lord change your belief. There is still so much that awaits us. We just have to keep believing and trusting God. :)

In His perfect time, we'll receive "the best", He's been preparing for just us. So, please, keep the faith. We're gonna make it. :)

Breathe. We'll be fine. :)

Wednesday. Dapat pumasok ako today pero di ako pumasok, kasi feel ko if I tried to do so, any time next week with all the things that's bound to happen and scheduled to happen, my body would give up. Anyways now we are here. As I type this, Burnout by 3D is playing.

Eight years ago, una kong napanood ang Im Drunk I Love You sa now defunct mall, Waltermart Calamba, 2x ko napanood, kasi yung movie ay continuously rolling since digital yung screener and walang pake yung mga nasa tech room. I went on to watch the same movie 3 more times, one is when a friend asked me to join them to watch sagot nila tix, isa ay nung birthday ni Iggy since feb birthday niya, isa ay nung nasa netflix na.

Everytime the movie plays, I found new comfort that Carson definitely loves Dio, but then again Dio never saw her on that light, that Carson wanted.

Seven years, Dio mahal kita seven years na.

how do we measure love when its all you can give, its the air you breathe, and its your whole being? As I type this, the sandalwood incense I just lit up is almost an ash, burnout still playing in the background, and I am still finding the same thoughts to write here about.

Last night, I went to a concert impulsively, its The Script. They always go back here in the Philippines, and I might as well say na the concert was okay since I am not tha much of a fan, but as a gurl na ayaw ma-FOMO, I did what I have to do, impulsively go to araneta, but some supermarked down tix and just sing along to songs they have that reminds me of when I was first reading the hunger games.

But there are songs, which reminded me of Japheth and then the one that I am currently mooning over now. Nothing reminded me of Japheth. All I heard from him was nothing not until this week when I tweeted on my stan account how High Potential, a series on Disney+ is so amazing. After a year of confessing, I still haven't had the chance to talk to him and to receive his reply. And it took me almost three months to accept that no reply, is his reply. Although I doubt in my head that he saw the tweet as is, or identified that it was me, but then again we will never know. He appeared in my dream recently, we are debating why I did what I did and why he did what he did, and I came to conclusion that we just have our own reasons. And just like Burnout, I will always love him as he is, maybe not as big as before, not as overwhelming as before, but as someone, who I have given a piece of myself, and still mirrors it even though I'm no longer visible.

Meanwhile, the feelings I have particularly over some man has plateaued, nothing happens and the relationship remains the same, deep, profound, and sometimes understanding. What I like about this relationship I have with this guy is that, my needs and stories, and myself is his priority. The song that reminded me of him during the concert was For the First Time, because my head wandered during the lyrics of oh these times are hard and they're making us crazy don't give up on me baby. I mean he never gave up on me nor my dream of going abroad, he was always there, reminding me that I could go further, farther and higher. He does not know I want to take him with me, because he reminded me of home, it may not be LB, Diliman, Manila, Cagayan or even Pila Laguna, but its a person that could remind you of what you wanted to achieve.

Sabi nga ni Angge sa that thing called tadhana kasama na rin si JM na sinabi ni Scott Fitzgerald: There are all kinds of love in the world but never the same love twice.

I was meant to be a lover girl, I have loved a lot of men, not because I wanted to, but because I was really meant to, I was meant to get a whole lot of lessons from these men, to give me depth, to give me character and to give me a chance to be better. And I always wonder, paano naman kaya yung feeling na minamahal ko, ano yung feeling na pag ako na yung nagbigay ano yung itsura, maybe right now I want to change or curiously take over the narrative, pero more so gusto ko malaman, paano ang feeling na mahal ko ang isang tao, kasi laging ako yung outwardly loving other people and not reciprocated? I mean nakakapagod, pero gets ba, ask my hs classmates, they could track how many men I fell in love with, I even asked for a pic nung kasal ni bip since complete sila, and now, just looking at it, I feel whole rather than broken, because the men from hs to college to after graduating gave me something more.. something intangible.

Andaming nangyayari sa buhay ko, literally. I just applied for an RA job in my department that I am halfly running for a year now, and I have a high chance of getting into, and I would really love to update this to the man I currently mooning over pero saka na.

I love to update him about my life, I love to talk to him, and I don't want to lose him ever, I can live with this, I can find who's gonna be romantically involved with me soon, oks lang kahit di siya tho, pero grabe, one realization I had the past few days too, ang suwerte ng mga lalaking minahal ko, at ng lalaking mahal ko, or ng lalaking mamahalin ko, kasi ako na to.

I'm here for pining, for yearning, for loving, for everything. I love to love, and I'm not giving up, although I feel like giving up, in reality, I'm just tired, I no longer hope for a romcom written love life, for a happy ending agad, I understand and I acknowledge na I need to write my own, to do it, to be intentional, and to work for it. Because love is a choice, and I'm making it everyday as I wake up.

Ang Anak Kong Mabait

Kahapon, umabsent ako para ipa-check-up ang anak ko sa pedia n'ya. Late na ako nagising sa sobrang sakit ng ulo ko kaya sa oras na makakabyahe kami, yung doctora n'ya nasa ibang ospital na. Kinailangan naming bumyahe ng mas malayo dahil nalate ako ng gising.

Okay lang naman kasi sa totoo lang, masarap isama ang anak ko sa kahit saan. Bukod sa masarap s'yang bihisan para matching kami, madali s'yang makaunawa.

"Anak, sasakay tayo sa Jeep, ha. Hindi tayo sa car sasakay.". Tapos sumagot s'ya ng "We'll ride on the jeep, Mommyyy??" yung sweet nya na boses at tono na pataas pag patanong. Haha! Kasi wala naman kaming kotse. At sa layo nung pupuntahan, hindi kaya ng e-bike. Kaya Jeep lang kami sasakay. Okay lang naman kasi may sakayan na malapit lang sa'min.

Tapos bago kami actually lumabas ng bahay, binibigyan ko na s'ya ng clues kung saan kami pupunta- na pupunta kami sa ospital at magpapacheck-up kami, na dapat stay lang s'ya sa side ni Mommy at kakapit lang sa damit ni Mommy kapag busy si Mommy.

"Are we going to the SM, Mommy?"

"No. We'll go to the hospital first then Tita Doctor will check your breathing. And then, we can go to the yellow mall (Waltermart) after.."

"We'll go with Lola and Kuya James and Tita?"

"No, we'll go together. You'll go with Mommy and then, we can go and visit Kuya James."

"Okay, Mommy. I'm so excited!!!" tapos ngiti n'ya yung sobrang ngiti tapos nakaclose yung arms nya sa katawan n'ya. Tuwing nakikita ko ang anak ko na masaya, masaya din ang puso ko. Punung-puno ako ng pasalamat sa Dios.

Lumabas na nga kami at naghintay ng jeep. Pagkasakay ng jeep, nakatulog agad s'ya. Tapos, pinapaypayan ko s'ya habang nakahiga s'ya sakin. Ang bait ng anak ko. Siguro kung ibang bata 'yun, nagwawala na yun sa init o kaya naman naglilikot na. S'ya, ito tulog buong byahe kahit sobrang init na.

Hanggang sa pababa na kami. Gently ko s'yang ginising. "Are we here, Mommy? Are we going to the hospital?". "Yes, anak. We're here. We'll go down na."

Tumawid kami ng kalsada at pumunta ng ospital. Doon since bagong patient lang ang anak ko, medyo naging mahaba ang proseso. May mga finill-upan pa akong mga forms. At habang binitawan ko ang kamay n'ya. Sabi ko, "Sage, hold my dress, Anak, ha. Don't touch anything." Tapos hinawakan n'ya yung palda ko. Andun lang s'ya, pasayaw sayaw pero hawak ang palda ko. Ang bait ng anak ko.

After n'yang mapacheck-up, kinailangan namin na magpaxray. Excited ang anak ko. Nakapagpa-X-ray na kasi s'ya before. Naaksidente s'ya at tumama yung ulo n'ya sa kanto ng pader habang tumatakbo. Pumutok ung ulo n'ya kaya nung dinala namin s'ya sa ER, kinailangan din ng xray para lang maging sigurado na walang fracture sa ulo n'ya. Nung time na yun, nahirapan kaming ipaxray s'ya kasi nga naman sobrang traumatic nung nangyare sa kanya. Napalibutan s'ya ng maraming nurses at natakot na s'ya sa malalaking equipments. Buti na lang mabait yung nasa Radiology that time at may mga lobo at airplane sa loob ng room kaya nadistract s'ya. Nung nakita na n'ya yung resulta that time, natuwa s'ya. "Mommy look! It's my XRAY!"

Kaya ngayon, excited na s'ya sa XRAY! Yey! So, inside the radiology, hawak ko kamay n'ya tinulungan ko s'ya don sa may platform. Ang bait ni Sage, grabe! Sumunod lang s'ya sa sinabi ni kuya. Tapos wala, di s'ya gumagalaw. Naka-stay put lang talaga s'ya. So ako sobrang proud, "Wow! Sage, you should be so happy. You're doing great!". Sabi n'ya "Yeah, Mommy. I like an XRAY." Ugh!

Kung alam lang ng anak ko kung gaano ko s'ya kamahal. Kung alam n'ya lang kung ilang beses n'ya ako nililigtas sa sarili ko dahil lang nageexist s'ya. Ganito na nga siguro ang motherhood. At, katulad ng sinasabi lagi ng Mama ko na "Born to be a Mom" ako. Sobrang sobrang pagmamahal ang meron ako para sa kaniya. Mahal na mahal ko s'ya higit pa sa kaya ng puso ko.

Natapos na nga ang XRAY n'ya at naghintay nalang kami ng stub para malaman kung kailan pwedeng makuha yung resulta. Bumili na kami ng mga gamot n'ya para derecho nalang kaming makakapalibut-libot. Nagpunta na kami ng Yellow Mall at bumili ng donut na paborito ng asawa ko. Binigyan ko na s'ya ng cookies para kahit na matagalan yung pagkain na oorderin namin, makakapaghintay pa s'ya kahit paano. Umorder na kami ng food at nagpahinga muna. Nakalimutan ng cashier na ipunch-in yung order kong lasagna pero okay lang naman. marami pa din naman yung food.

After noon, lumabas na kami para sumakay ng jeep. Sobrang bait ng anak ko, kahit mainit hindi s'ya nagrereklamo. Kahit na iba yung lugar hindi s'ya naglilikot. Nakatayo lang s'ya nagtatanung tanong at nakikinig sa sasabihin ko.

Nung nakasakay na kami sa jeep, ang sabi n'ya sleepy na daw s'ya at magsleep daw s'ya saken kaya prinepare ko yung mga gamit ko para di ako manakawan habang may dalang tulog na bata. Nung nakarating na kami ng bahay ng mama ko, tulog pala yung pinsan n'ya kaya nanuod muna s'ya sa phone habang pinalitan ko s'ya ng damit para makatulog din s'ya agad.

Nakapaglaro sila ng pinsan n'ya bago kami pinuntahan ng asawa ko para tulungan kami sa mga dala namin at magpaalam. Umuwi na din kami para makakain na s'ya. Ininom naman n'ya lahat ng mga gamot n'ya kaya proud na proud ako sa kanya.

Ang bait ng anak ko. Hindi ako nahirapang magcommute at magpacheck-up. Marunong s'yang sumunod sa sinasabi ko at marunong din s'yang magtanong about sa sinabi ko. Curious s'ya at interesado sa mga naging activities namin ng araw na yon. Sobrang salamat sa Dios sa anak ko. Binigyan Niya ako ng anak na bukod sa mabait ay matalino at mapagpasalamat.

Ending, isang bag lang ang dala ko. Importante din na may dalang snacks at water tuwing lalabas kasama ang bata para di s'ya mainip kapag naghihintay ng order. Di s'ya agad na magugutom. Kinaugalian ko na sabihing "You should be proud of yourself.", "Are you happy? I'm happy when you're happy.", at "You try so hard!", na natutunan kong sabihin as it takes away the achievement from me and focuses on himself. Hoping na magiging confident s'ya sa sarili n'ya at hindi s'ya magrerely sakin kung magiging masaya s'ya o hindi.

1645 27Apr24: Chapter 118

I want pizza.

So I'm sitting at Waltermart while the wife is getting a pizza. I know... I don't really need it... but it's a comfort food because the wife threw the curveball that she's going to Mariveles for the night with her friend.

So I am thinking that since she's doing so... I should log into Netflix on my laptop and get the fabric out to continue sewing.

I still have a blue waistcoat that needs finished, so that would be where I would apply my priority.

I guess part of me is also looking at the potential of making some suspenders. It would require me to take fabric and cut like a two or two and half inch strip then fold that strip long ways so I can stitch it up the entire length. So I could add some elastic band and some fake leather (vinyl) for the attachment point for the new buttons I'd have to add to the breeches. So... I mean it's a potential plan, I just don't know if it's the plan I really want to utilize.

Samgyup launch today with the wifey, at Samgyup sa Bahay in Waltermart. Like always, we attacked the table like famine victims on the loose.

Then we spent the afternoon sipping tea and watching Baby Reindeer, which is good. I always have a thing for British dark comedy.

3 Body Problem, Ripley and now Baby Reindeer -- I seem to be on the roll when it comes to TV series this month.

Back to the salt mines tomorrow.

When I’m buying groceries, I always come across this cute little coffee stall that’s right next to the supermarket here in our town. I’ve been wanting to buy one of their coffees, but never had the chance coz part of me just wanted to go home. But now, I have finally been able to order one of their bestsellers (Iced White Mocha Latte) and it is actually really good! Also, they’re not time-consuming coz your coffee will be served in less than 10 mins. I’ll make sure to try their other coffee the next time I visit. ♥

Almost my Birthday!

I keep on seeing my 27 things to do before 27 in my facebook memories, too bad I deleted the Tumblr blog I did about that, not sure why I deleted. It would’ve been fun to see the list and how I was able to cross out everything. Here’s what I remember:

1. go to the beach - Puerto Galera

2. Watch a movie alone - zoo something in Waltermart

3. Go to a place I haven’t been - church in Makati

4. Wear jeans and T-shirt at work with no make up

5. Eat things I dont like (milk tea, milk, sushi, frozen yogurt) - With Ate Grace

6. Calorie feast (since I was on a diet for the longest time that time lol) - National Sports grill with ate grace in Greenbelt

7. Do a good deed for someone - cake for kuya na always managing the taxi stand in waltermart Makati

8. Invent a recipe - I made a custard cup eme lol

9. Fly - First time parasailing in Puerto Galera

Thats all I remember, maybe I’ll add more when I see some from the memories. I know I was able to finish it before my birthday.

Anyway, I was thinking, after my 39th birthday maybe I should start making a list of 40 things to do before 40! This will be fun to look forward to and finish in 1 year! The 27 thing was kinda rush so I keep pushing myself and stressing myself to finish it even if it means going to puerto galera after a night shift and basically just slept the whole day in the hotel! So having a whole year to plan and do it would be fun!
