i use ibis paint for drawing and i use four brushes, two for walksprites/talksprites, one for pesterquest, and three for panel edits:

these are some tips:

use multiple sprites if you don’t know how to draw something like feet, eyes ect.

use the farragofiction doll maker (linked) for oc bases.

this is an oc corvine made in farragofiction that i edited:

another thing is: USE MULTIPLE LAYERS.

the jade harley god tier sprie i made has ten layers, i suggest separating the head and the body on different layers for when you re-color line-art.

Not a request but how do i request hc icons/edits?/gen

essentially, with hc icons/edits, you just kind of.... describe how you hc the character to be, as well as the format of edit you want (with homestuck, for example, pesterquest sprite, talksprite, walksprite or hero mode comic rip) and well do our best to kind of... edit it the character to be how you hc them!

Hey mdudes can I maybe get a walksprite edit for a jade strider? I had hair like jade harley’s except it was cut short, around chin length, and I wore sunglasses like Dave Strider does in canon. I usually wore a red hoodie with my symbol (Bec’s Head with a crack through it) on it in black, and dark pants and shoes that had like stars on them or maybe music notes... I don’t really remember. I also had a bit of a scar on my chin from when I wiped out on the driveway. Sorry this is so complicated.

This has been in the inbox for like? a solid year, and I am. So so sorry about that, Jade! I dunno if you're still following or not, but I got these done! I did one with music note shoes and one with star shoes since you weren't sure which you had!
