Today, we end off the session by wake boarding around and slapping some guys off their tubes.

It's getting harder to get away.

A silent ride, not mad, just tired

or focussed, relaxing to the rush of waves.

Quiet on the roads, they're all out here

beating the sun or taking notes on the architecture.

Hair in the wind, cover photo saved without

I think of family.

Wakeborder to starboard, doing the impossible, falling forward

toward the blue as fast as away.

Cheers erupt, yellow streaks launch from behind.

I think of moments that don't add up.

A few words, dissonant comments on leadership.

Suddenly, a finger points at three majestic black-tipped

ghosts gliding in formation overhead.

Phones drop and are replaced

by real cameras, great black boxes of curiosity,

as at the gentle touch of my right hand

aging american muscle lets out a sleepy growl

and the chase is on.

Creamsicle-coloured streaks paint a mural on the glass,

left, right,

click, click,

lift off

and stop together.

One single expert shutter cuts through the metal creature's heartbeat.

Good enough, says the face behind.
