If summer is meant to follow on the heels of spring, then today she is taking a sabbatical, skipping stones and counting petals under the shadow of spring’s withdrawal. Today, she lives slowly, holding sheaths of grain as she naps in the arms of oaken shade, oblivious to the demands of the buzzing bees and the unflowered meadows.

not me in the summer just being ready for it to be over. like girl can you hurry up already? i’m so fed up with summer, where i lived previously thats all they had, with rain sprinkled here and there. i miss all the other seasons, as i was able to experience them before moving there. autumn especially, as its always been my favourite one.
