IVE’s Jang Wonyoung x M!Reader
Note: I have resorted to the sacred prompt list by Anon again….this helped me so much frrr. Hope you will post your first ever fic here so I can tagged you!!
This concludes the unofficial (or official ig) IZ*ONE marathon. @hyeyulenjoyer hope this was a fun ride for you. And thank you everyone for enjoying these fics as well! Also appreciate IVE for paying respect to the recent tragedy. All the dumb haters who find ways to hate them again....just touch grass pls.

(this was the perfect picture for this fic lol)
The tickets sit on your desk, undisturbed, their glossy surface catching the dim glow of your bedside lamp. You don’t even need to read the text printed on them anymore. The details are already burned into your brain.
A fan sign.
It was supposed to be special. The kind of thing you looked forward to for weeks, marked on your calendar with a little star. You were supposed to show up, tease her about messing up choreography, make her laugh in the middle of a serious performance, see that look in her eyes that was just for you.
Now, the tickets feel like a joke.
Your phone is face-down beside them, dark screen hiding the messages you haven't opened yet—the well-meaning texts from friends, the casual work notifications. All messages except from her.
Wonyoung.
You close your eyes, but it doesn't help. The memory of your last call with her is still fresh, the words playing over and over like a song stuck on repeat.
"I just don’t have time for this anymore."
"For us, you mean?"
"Mhm."
The way she said it—calm, measured, like it was just another item to tick off on her to-do list—had made something inside you crack. There had been no anger in her voice. No hesitation.
That…hurt more than anything.
You had wanted to say something, anything to make her stop. To remind her of the nights spent whispering over the phone until she fell asleep, of the rare moments when she let herself be vulnerable with you, of the way she would light up the second she saw you waiting for her backstage to take her to eat a whole cow together.
But you couldn't mutter a voice.
You had just sat there, phone pressed to your ear, fingers gripping the fabric of your hoodie so tightly it threatened to tear.
And then, just like that, she was gone.
It was three days ago.
Three days of checking your phone too often. Three days of convincing yourself you were fine. Three days of staring at these damn tickets on the desk and trying to figure out why you hadn’t just thrown them away. You should sell them. Give them to someone who’d actually enjoy them.
But something stops you.
Maybe it’s pride. Maybe it’s stubbornness. Maybe it’s the stupid, lingering part of you that refuses to admit that she’s really gone. Whatever the reason, you find yourself gripping them tighter instead of throwing them away.
You decided that you will go.
Not for her. Not to see her.
Just so you don’t have to sit in this room, drowning in thoughts of what used to be.
That’s what you tell yourself, anyway.
-
The venue is packed.
Fans shuffle forward in line, their chatter buzzing in the air like static. Excited whispers, rustling light sticks, the occasional squeal when a favourite member’s name is mentioned.
Your fingers tighten around the album in your hands. (Ironically you still hold onto her album)
This is normal for them. For the fans around you, this is just another fan sign. A chance to meet their idols, to share fleeting moments, to walk away with a signature and a memory they’ll cherish for years.
You should feel the same. Instead, you’re just… tired. Who could blame you, you’re about to come face-to-face with your ex-girlfriend.
And she has no idea you’re here.
Your grip on the album tightens as the line inches forward. The first few members greet you with polite smiles, their voices light and bubbly. You do your best to respond normally, but your mind is elsewhere, trapped in the inevitable moment that keeps creeping closer and closer.
You don’t need to look up to know she’s at the end of the table. You can feel her presence.
And then, suddenly, there’s no more time left.
Your album slides across the table. Long, slender fingers stop it in place.
There’s a small pause—so brief that no one else seems to notice—but you do. You feel it in the slight delay before she looks up, in the way her fingers tighten just a fraction around the album’s edge.
And then her eyes meet yours.
She looks the same. Flawless, as always. Every strand of hair perfectly in place, makeup soft and ethereal under the bright overhead lights. And those sparkly eyes that you often got lost in.
But…she’s not yours anymore. Not at all.
There was a flicker of something—recognition, surprise, something deeper—crosses her face. But it’s gone in an instant, replaced by a carefully neutral expression.
Her lips part slightly, but no words come out at first. Then…
“Hey.”
It’s awkward. Too awkward. You can feel the tension hanging between you, thick and suffocating.
You swallow, trying to ignore the way your chest tightens. “Hey.”
For a split second, she looks like she wants to say something else. Like she wants to break the script, ignore the rehearsed greetings and practiced smiles.
But then—
She doesn’t.
Instead, she picks up her pen, the mask slipping back into place. Her expression evens out, and in a voice so perfectly professional it almost stings, she says,
“Thanks for coming.”
Just like she would to any other fan. That made your stomach twists.
You should’ve known. Of course, she wouldn't acknowledge it. Not here. Not in front of all these people.
Still, it doesn’t make it hurt any less.
You swallow the lump in your throat. “Yeah. Would’ve been a waste of money if I didn’t.”
Something flickers across her face, but it’s gone before you can catch it. She presses her lips together, nodding slightly. “Right. Can’t have that.”
She signs her name, her handwriting as neat and practiced as always. But there’s a hesitance in the way she moves, a slight delay before she lifts the pen from the page.
When she finally pushes the album back toward you, her fingers linger just a second longer than necessary.
Then, in a voice so quiet that only you can hear…
“Take care, okay?”
She’s looking at you now. Really looking at you.
And for a moment, just one fleeting moment, she’s not the Jang Wonyoung, the IT girl, the global superstar.
She’s just…Wonyoung.
The girl who used to call you late at night just to hear your voice.
The girl who used to lace her fingers through yours under the table when no one was looking.
The girl who told you she didn’t have time for you anymore.
You stare at her.
The words stick to your throat. You genuinely don’t trust yourself to say anything.
So you just…don’t.
You just take the album, stand up, and walk away. And even as you disappear into the crowd, you can still feel her eyes on you.
-
You’ve been doing fine.
Or at least, that’s what you keep telling yourself.
It’s been a few days since the fan sign, and you’ve buried yourself in anything that keeps your mind occupied—work, games, mindless scrolling through your phone. Anything to keep yourself from replaying the look on Wonyoung’s face at the fansign. From remembering the way she hesitated before handing your album back. From thinking about the way her gaze kept flickering toward you as you walk away, as if she was looking for something.
Or someone.
But that’s not your problem anymore. You told yourself that the moment you left the venue.
Which is why, when your phone starts ringing at an ungodly hour, you almost don’t check the caller ID. Almost.
The second you see her name flashing on the screen, your stomach twists.
Jang Wonyoung.
The ringing continues, each second stretching unbearably. You should let it go. Turn off your phone. Pretend you never saw it.
But you don’t. Because deep down, you know you still want to hear her voice. So you answer.
“...Hello?”
There’s silence on the other end for a moment, followed by a soft giggle—breathy and drawn out, the kind that used to slip past her lips whenever she was feeling particularly affectionate.
"Dummmyy!" she hums, stretching your nickname like it’s some sweet, familiar melody.
“Wonyo. Are you drunk?” You sigh, ignoring the way your nickname for her easily rolled out of your tongue.
She giggles again, the sound loose and unguarded. "Mmm… maybe."
"Goddamn it." You rub your temples. "Where are you?"
A rustling noise filters through the receiver, followed by the distant hum of traffic. "Somewhere," she mumbles. "Some bar, I think. The girls took me out."
Figures.
You shift in bed, propping yourself up against the headboard. “It’s late.”
“I know,” she says, not sounding the least bit apologetic. “But I wanted to call you.”
You close your eyes, exhaling through your nose. “Why?”
She doesn’t answer immediately. Instead, there’s a soft exhale, the kind she lets out when she’s gathering her thoughts. Then, quieter…
“Because I miss you.”
Your fingers tighten around the phone.
"Don’t do that," you say quietly.
"Do what?"
"Say things you don’t mean."
Another pause. When she speaks again, her voice is steadier. "But I do mean it. I do miss you."
You swallow, trying to keep your voice steady. "Well, that’s not my problem anymore, is it?"
She goes quiet.
For a moment, all you hear is the faint sound of music in the background, the distant chatter of people. She’s probably in the back of some high-end bar or a private lounge that someone of her status often went. You can picture it too easily—her long hair falling over her shoulders, her lips painted red, the glow of the city lights reflecting in her eyes.
Your heart beat rapidly at the image.
"You came to the fansign," she says suddenly, cutting into your thoughts.
You rub at your temple. "Mhm."
"Why?"
"You already know why."
"Say it anyway."
You sigh. "Because I had the tickets. It would’ve been a waste."
She lets out a humourless laugh. "Right. Can’t have that."
Something about the way she repeats your words from that day makes your stomach twist.
There’s another long pause. Then, almost hesitantly.
"Did you feel anything?"
Your eyes widened. "Feel what?"
"When you saw me again." Her voice is quieter now. "Did you feel anything?"
Your jaw clenches. You want to lie. Want to say no, not at all. That it didn’t matter. That she doesn’t matter. But you can’t.
Because the truth is, you felt everything.
The way your heart clenched when she looked at you. The way your stomach twisted when her fingers hesitated over your name. The way your mind screamed at you to move on, to stop letting her affect you, to stop caring.
But you don’t tell her any of that.
Instead, you settle for, "Who cares anyway."
"Why not?"
"Because we’re done, Jang Wonyoung."
She sucks in a sharp breath, and for a second, you wonder if she’s about to cry.
"You-" She stops, swallows. When she speaks again, her voice is unsteady. "You didn’t even try to fight for me."
Your grip tightens around the phone, knuckles turning white. "You were the one who ended things. On the phone, may I remind you."
"I know," she whispers. "And I thought it was the right choice. But now I just—" She breaks off, voice cracking slightly. "I don’t know anymore."
You shut your eyes.
It would be so easy to give in. To tell her that you don’t know either, that you still think about her, that you still wonder if maybe—just maybe—this wasn’t supposed to end like this.
But what’s the point?
She made her choice.
And you’re tired of being the one left picking up the pieces.
"You’re drunk, Jang Wonyoung," you say, voice carefully even. "Go home and go to sleep."
"Wait—"
"Goodnight."
And then, before she can say another word, you hang up.
The silence that follows is deafening.
And yet, for the first time in days, you finally let yourself breathe.
-
Or at least, it should be.
You did the right thing, you tell yourself—cut it off before it could spiral any further. Before you let yourself believe, even for a second, that anything has changed.
But still, the weight in your chest lingers.
The room feels too quiet now, the kind of silence that presses in from all sides, making it impossible to ignore the thoughts creeping into your head. You lie back down, throwing an arm over your eyes, willing yourself to sleep.
You don’t know how much time passes before you hear it.
A knock.
You freeze.
At first, you think you’re imagining it. Sleep-deprived, emotionally drained, and still reeling from that damn phone call, your brain must be conjuring things that aren’t real. But then, the knocking got more insistent. Erratic, yet insistent.
Your brows furrow. You sit up, straining your ears.
"Who the hell…?"
It’s almost 3 AM. No one in their right mind would be visiting you at this hour. Then again, you just got a call from a drunk girl not in their right mind.
Knock, knock, knock.
It’s louder this time, clumsy and uncoordinated, like whoever’s on the other side can barely keep their balance. A sinking feeling settles in your stomach.
You begrudingly throw off your blankets and push yourself up, padding toward the door. Your hand hovers over the handle for a second before you sigh and pull it open.
And there she is.
Wonyoung.
She’s standing there in the dim, flickering hallway light, wrapped in a thin coat that does nothing to protect her from the cold. Her long hair is slightly tousled, the glossy perfection from the concert gone, strands falling loosely over her shoulders. She sways just the slightest, a delicate wobble on unsteady feet. Her lips are slightly parted, eyes glassy—not just from the alcohol but from something else. Something unreadable.
You blink.
She blinks back, like she’s just now processing that you’re standing in front of her.
Then, with absolutely no warning, she wobbles forward, collapsing against your chest.
You barely manage to catch her. “Jesus—Wonyo.” You gently hold her arms, steadying her. “What the hell are you doing here?”
"Surprise," she breathes, half-laughing, half-sniffling.
You let out a sharp breath. “Surprise? You’re seriously—” You stop yourself, jaw clenching. “How did you even get here?”
"I took a taxi," she announces, like that explains anything. Like that justifies her showing up at your door past midnight after breaking up with you.
You stare at her. “Alone?”
“Mmhmm.”
Your stomach twists. “Wonyoung, do you have any idea how dangerous that is?”
She just hums, leaning more of her weight onto you. Her forehead presses against your shoulder, and you can feel the slight tremble in her body.
You sigh, tightening your grip. “You’re freezing.”
“I was walking.”
“Walking where?”
She doesn’t answer. Instead, she tilts her head back to look at you properly. Her lips part slightly, like she’s about to say something—something serious, something she’s probably been holding in for too long. But then, she hiccups.
You close your eyes, exhaling sharply through your nose. “You’re unbelievable.”
She smiles lazily, like she didn’t just show up at your door dead drunk in the middle of the night after breaking up with you.
"You hung up on me," she murmurs.
You pull back slightly, just enough to see her properly. “Yeah. I did.”
"That was mean," she says, pouting. "I was talking."
"You were drunk."
"Still talking."
You shake your head, adjusting your grip on her. “Come on. You need water. And sleep.”
She hums, letting you guide her inside. “Only if you let me stay.”
You pause.
For a brief second, something in her voice sounds painfully sober.
But then she giggles again, burying her face in your chest, and you decide that you’ll deal with that in the morning.
For now, you just hold her close.
You sigh, pressing your lips into a thin line as you shift your grip on her. She’s barely standing at this point, practically melting into you like she has no bones in her body.
"Alright, come on," you mutter, wrapping an arm around her waist and leading her inside.
She stumbles slightly, her fingers gripping at your shirt as she giggles under her breath. "You smell nice," she mumbles.
You ignore that.
You close the door behind you with your foot, guiding her toward the couch. She flops onto it with zero resistance, her coat slipping off her shoulders. The moment she’s down, she tilts her head back, blinking up at you like she’s expecting something.
She doesn’t hesitate. Stumble inside like she belongs here.
And maybe that’s the problem. She did belong here.
And now? Now you don’t know.
Her eyes lazily drift across the apartment, lingering on the things she still remembers—the half-empty cup of coffee on your desk, the hoodie she used to steal draped over the chair, the faint indent in the couch where she used to curl up next to you.
Then she noticed your desk, the same desk where the fansign ticket sat just days ago. The same one she saw in your hands at the fansign days ago.
"You really came," she murmurs, not looking at you. "I didn’t think you actually would."
You shrug. "Like I said. Would’ve been a waste."
She flinches. Just the tiniest bit. But you catch it.
She exhales slowly, arms wrapping around herself. "It was weird."
"What was?"
"Seeing you there. But not... There, you know?" She fully looks at you now, and there's something raw in her expression. Something you’re not sure you’re ready to face. "You didn’t smile. You didn’t tease me like you usually do. You barely even looked at me."
"What did you expect?" you ask quietly. "You dumped me, Wonyoung. You can’t just expect me to act like nothing happened."
She presses her lips together, fingers gripping the hem of her sleeve. "I know."
You wait. Give her the space to say what she came here to say.
But she doesn’t. Not right away.
She defeatedly sighed, tucking her knees under her chin, looking smaller than she ever has before. She stares at her hands for a long moment before mumbling, "I don’t know why I came here."
You scoff. "Really? Because from where I’m standing, it looks like you drunk-called your ex, then showed up at his apartment in the middle of the night without a plan."
She frowns. "I do have a plan."
You raise an eyebrow. "Yeah?"
She huffs. "Step one: get inside. Step two..." She falters, looking away. "...I didn’t think that far."
You shake your head. "Unbelievable."
Silence stretches between you, heavy and unspoken.
Then, barely above a whisper, "Do you hate me?"
You freeze.
Your first instinct is to say no. Because of course you don’t hate her. You never could.
But that’s not the right answer, is it?
So instead, you tell the truth.
"I don’t know," you admit. "I want to. But I can't."
She looks up at you then, eyes searching. Hopeful and afraid all at once. "I messed up, didn’t I?"
You let out a hollow laugh. "Yea. Big time."
She swallows. Lowers her gaze again. "I thought breaking up would make things easier. For you…for both of us."
"Did it?"
She shakes her head. "No."
You run a hand through your hair, exhaling. "Then why did you do it?"
"I was scared," she says, and her voice is so small, so unlike the confident idol the world knows, that it almost hurts to hear. "I thought I was being selfish, holding onto you when I barely had time to see you. I thought you deserved more than stolen moments and rushed phone calls."
Your jaw clenches. "You didn’t even ask me what I wanted."
"I know," she whispers. "I thought I was making the right choice."
You sit down across from her, legs spread, elbows on your knees. "And now?"
She meets your gaze, vulnerability laid bare. "Now... I just miss you."
Your heart leaped a mile. This was the Wonyoung you always see. Not the glamorous and model-esque Jang Wonyoung everyone always see on TV. Not the well-spoken and powerful public figure everyone knows. Just…a gentle yet bubbly girl who snuggled up next to you on the couch at the end of the day.
But your brain should tell her to leave. To sleep it off, to sober up and think about this when her mind is clearer.
Then she reaches out—just the slightest, her fingers brushing against yours on the couch. And you don’t pull away.
"You’re drunk," you remind her, though your voice lacks conviction.
She smiles faintly. "Thanks…Mr. Obvious."
Silence. Then, tentatively, "Can I sleep here tonight?"
Another hesitation.
But just like before, you already know your answer.
You sigh. Your hand intertwined with hers.
"Go get a blanket. Wonyo."
She doesn’t move right away. Just watches you, like she’s memorizing you all over again.
Then, with a small, almost relieved nod, she gets up and stumbled into your bedroom as she dragged you along—the same bedroom she used to slip into after long schedules, the same one she used to call hers.
And just like that, the distance you tried so hard to create crumbles.
Again.

pairing: charles leclerc x f!reader ; tw: rough sex, lots of degrading
sugardaddy!charles leclerc just sent you a whopping check of 5 grand. he doesn't really say much to you during the day, but during the night he always demands that you call him right before you go to bed. he wants to hear your sweet voice. if he's having a good day, he'll ask you how your day went, what exciting things you did. his french accent's sounds like honey in your ears, and his little chuckle gets you all tipsy right before you sleep. if he's having a bad day, though? prepare to spend the entire night with your fingers in your cunt, and he's on FaceTime, making sure you don't cum without his permission. he wants to see you beg for him, to have him be your sole attention. your mind should only be on him and nothing else. who gave a fuck about your class tomorrow? for fuck's sake, he's paying your tuition to even attend those classes!
on one particular day when you're leaving class, he surprisingly texts you and asks if he can drop by your university. it's been a few weeks since he's last seen you. he has some gifts for you and he's planned to take you to some fancy restaurant.
your foolish self leaves him on read because your friends offered to finally take you to this concert, their brothers were also tagging along. and who doesn't love to ogle at their friend's hot brother? so not only did you leave him on read and ignore all his plans, you also forgot to call him right before you went to bed... which was at around 5 am in the morning after your friends and you partied the whole night. you might've also gave one of the boys a very sloppy blowjob in secret, but you were drunk and having fun, it didn't matter!
when you wake up the next morning, you realize what happened and in absolute fear of incurring his wrath, you don't call or text charles at all for the entire week. you didn't want to deal with him at the moment, you cared for him a lot of course you did! but you figured he'd let it slide in a week. he likes to text you a simple "sweet dreams mon ange" right before bed no matter what mood he was in; surely he'd get over it, right?
but then, this semester's housing hasn't been paid yet. charles was always on top of his game, he'd never wait until the deadline to pay. you figure that he must've forgot, so you call him but he's sent you straight to voicemail. with a frown, you hop into your car (a porsche 718 boxster that charles generously bought for you one night) and drive over to where he lives. you haven't seen your sugar daddy for a whole month now! you skip over to his front door, knocking eagerly because you desperately wanted to know why he didn't pay your housing.
you barely have time to speak because as soon as he opens that door, he's grabbing your arm and throwing you onto a sofa in the living room.
"oh i should've known you would be running to me as soon as i didn't pay one thing, pute" he snarls, and you're frowning at him. oh you made such a big mistake ignoring him for what? a month now?
"i go out of my way to buy you that car, to buy you expensive clothes... i pay for your tuition and housing, i pay for everything and yet you don't bother to notice me? i'm done, get out of my sight!" he yells, and you're scrambling to latch onto his feet,
"wait, wait, no, please! charles!" you notice his eyebrow raise at you in a condescending manner and you gulp, "mr. leclerc, i mean. please, please, i was just worried you'd get mad the first day when I ignored your text! i didn't mean for it to get out of hand!"
charles isn't convinced one bit, he's staring at you in frustration as a hand runs over his face. he snaps his fingers, gesturing for you to get up on your feet, "i don't think i can accept your words, you've destroyed my-"
"i'll suck your cock!" you blurt out, getting on your knees immediately. and he's chuckling darkly at your words, his hand rubbing the back of his neck as his other hand cups your chin to look up at him, his thumb running across your bottom lip,
"i could spend fortunes on your education, and the only thing you'd know is to please my cock, isn't that right ma chérie?" there's still an edge in his tone, but he sighs out loud, "i don't want your mouth, no i want your pussy, get up and head to my bedroom."
and you do so because you have your own selfish reasons, to be honest. you need him to pay for housing, you didn't want to end up living on the streets!
but as he's fucking you, his pace brutal and unforgiving, he never once mentions his deal to pay. he has your hair in a tight makeshift ponytail, watching your ass bounce with each thrust as his other hand is rubbing on your clit. you're cumming for the umpteenth time, bedsheets soaked with your sweat and juice. he has no signs of stopping, no he's going to have his fill after a month of not seeing you. your ass is red from all the spanking, you can hardly lay on your back because it's so bruised! your voice is hoarse from all your screaming, but he did offer you his cum to soothe the pain in your throat!
your hands are grabbing the sheets below you, sobbing uncontrollably as he's relentless. he's saying the vilest things above you as his hand now wraps around your throat,
"you're such a slut. maybe i should stop calling you mon ange, no you are far from angel. far from it. i bet you'd spread your legs for anyone you see, hm?"
you're shaking your head, telling him that he's the only man you ever think about the only man you ever wanted!
"don't fucking lie to me, i know what you did with those boys at the concert," and now you're confused as to how he even knew about that! he's shaking his head with a laugh as he watches you glance over your shoulder to look at him, "i should punish you harder for even thinking about sinking that mouth of yours onto another man - no - boy's cock, you whore. you just can't live without someone's cock inside you, can't you?"
"here's what's going to happen, you're going to talk to your housing and talk about cancelling for the term," his thrusts become harsher, and you're silently screaming at how good he feels, "i'm not paying for housing anymore. no, you're staying with me from now on. i can't trust you anymore, you'll throw yourself onto any man you see. you'll stay with me and every night before you go to bed, you're going to take my cock like the good little slut that you are, understood?"
you nod your head, milking his cock once more as he's filling you up with ropes of his cum. he groans out loud, head dipping to see your spent body. after he cleans you up, he has you sleep with him for the night, one arm around your waist as he pulls you closer to his frame. he inhales your smell, nuzzling into your neck; he could surely get used to do this now.

jealous and possessive fratboy!chris after he finds out shy!reader's male friend is back into town?
chris is.... yeah. dipping more into mean chris with this one, especially towards the friend. you've been warned, please do not read if you're uncomfortable.
tw. mentions of drugs [cocaine].
note. also i chose a random guys name for shy!readers friend, so if there is an influencer or anyone you know that shares the same name.. its not them lol.
you haven't stepped foot in the frat house in nearly a week, completely caught up in the excitement of reconnecting with a childhood friend who had come back to your hometown for his break; the two of you spending your days hanging out and catching up on stories — which meant you unintentionally ditched chris.
honestly, chris didn't really notice your absence at first.
he was too preoccupied with his own life — planning for parties, selling his drugs and counting cash, spending time with his frat brothers, and his classes. but as the friday approached, the day the house is filled to the brim with students from the university, the realisation startled settling in.
now, he's sitting on the worn-out couch surrounded by the chaos, staring down at his phone, scrolling through the countless unread texts he'd sent you, each one more frustrated that the last. his eyebrows knit together in irritation, and he presses his tongue against his cheek, waiting for the delivered sign to change to read.
he swipes out of your conversation, rubbing at his jaw in frustration as he opens the instagram app. he goes to search for your account to check if you've posted anything on your story, but instead, he freezes, staring at a collection of recent pictures you just posted.
a scoff escapes he lips as he begins to swipe through each new one, his jaw clenching with every image. there you fucking are, beaming with joy, capturing the moments of you and the stranger beside you visiting cafes, shopping at your favourite stores and taking walks. chris grits his teeth as the last image, the sight of you both in your bedroom, watching childhood movies.
chris feels a bubble of anger rising within him, his leg bouncing restlessly as he fixates on the photo of the guy pressed against your side, his arm wrapped around you shoulder and playfully squeezing your cheeks while grinning widely.
chris' nostrils flare, and he tightens the grip on his phone. in one swift movement, he locks the screen and tosses the device carelessly onto the table, shaking his head in disbelief as he rubs the bridge of his nose. he fishes a baggy of white powder from his pocket, pouring a line onto the coffee table and shaping it up with his credit card.
just as he leans down to lose himself in the haze, his eyes dart up to see you walk in, the guy still by your side, both of you wearing smiles on your faces as if everything is perfectly normal. chris sits up slowly, a mix of anger and confusion swirling within him as he watches you scan around the room, and when your gaze finally lands on him, your face lights up instantly, and you tug on the guy's arm, pulling him over to chris.
he can't help but stare at the way you cling to him, rolling his tongue across is teeth in irritation, his gaze drifting up your arm to your face as you near closer, but that gentle smile of yours only deepens his frustration.
"hi," you greet him with such a soft tone that it makes chris want to scoff, watching as you drop down beside him, pulling the guy down with you. "chris, this is lucas."
chris doesn't even spare a glance at lucas, his attention solely on your as you continue to smile prettily at him. it only tightens his jaw.
"right... the guy you uh, you've been ditchin' me for," he says, his voice laced with sarcasm. "s'nice, kid."
you, still buzzing from the day, take his comment as a joke. "we were friends growing up! he came to visit me," you explain, glancing at lucas returning your gaze to chris. "he's only here for a week.. but you should join us—"
chris cuts you off with a scoff, a harsh laugh escaping his lips. "yeah... 'cos i'd love to be the third fuckin' wheel in your cute lil' reunion, kid. don't piss me off."
you look momentarily taken aback by his attitude and tone, and your smile falters in in an instant. even lucas looks taken aback by the shift in his tone, but chris couldn't care less about lucas' feelings; his focus remains locked on you.
"hey, man.." lucas attempts to speak up, clearly trying to defuse the tension, but chris waves him off dismissively.
"don't uh, don't wanna hear you — at all, actually. yeah. couldn't give a fuck about you." chris murmurs as he leans down towards the coffee table, plugging one nostril and inhaling a line of coke, grunting as he slumps back into the cushions, running his fingers through his curls.
chris' head rolls to the side, finally glancing past you to lock eyes with lucas. he notices the uneasy look on his face shift into something more confrontational, a flicker of anger sparking in his eyes. a grin slowly spreads across chris' lips, adrenaline surging through him.
"what? why y'lookin' at me like that?" chris presses. "you... y'mad at me or somethin'?"
"chris." you warn softly, pushing gently at his arm. you can feel the tension thickening in the air, and you don't want him to start something could spiral out of control, something that might lead to someone getting hurt — to lucas getting hurt.
but chris leans forward, looming over you to get closer to lucas, a glint in his eyes. "c'mon.. if y'got somethin' to say to me, say it."
you feel a knot tightening in your stomach, anxiety creeping in as you shake his arm more insistently. "chris, please," you plead, your voice urgent. "just let it go. it.. it's not worth it, please."
chris' eyes flick to you, noticing the worried look on your face and he huffs, before pulling away to slump back into his spot, sniffing and rubbing his nose.
he feels your arm loop around his, and he turns his head slightly to see you rest you chin on his shoulder, a small gesture meaning to ground him. and for a fleeting moment, chris considers yanking his arm out of your grip, the urge to push you away battling against the subtle comfort your touch brings him.
but then his gaze drifts back to lucas, who is watching you both, and chris' expression shifts once more, sliding his hand down between your thighs, gripping possessively and holding on tight.

the prompt: running into your main lads man (boyfriend) while you're out with your second favorite lads man (as a friend) and how they would react.
This is open for all by the way, I'll be linking the invitation and the fic.
"Is this how it's supposed to look like?" I asked Xavier who was also looking at the coffee table we are assembling.
"It looks like it." He said and I slowly turned my head at him and sighed. "Let's test this table now. Put a water bottle on the it."
He did what I asked and I only blinked for a second before the whole thing went collapsing. We both groaned in annoyance.
"We spent the whole morning doing this. Dang it. I'm hungry." Xavier nodded and grabbed his wallet along with my hand.
"Yeah, we should definitely eat something now. What time is it anyway." Xavier said as he checked the time and he looked at me sheepishly. "It's already past 12."
We were walking to a bakery near our apartment while we are talking about our work at the hunter's association.
"That wanderer was really tricky but my team managed to take it down so woohoo." I laughed a little and Xavier opened the door for me like a gentleman he is.
There wasn't a lot of people inside the bakery. So ordering for our food was really quick. Xavier's arms is wrapped around my shoulders while we choose some croissants, macarons, garlic bread and iced coffee.
The bell on the bakery rang and I smiled at the attendant taking our order. I turned around to find Xavier and I's seat but I was shocked to see Zayne behind me.
"Doctor Zayne." I exclaimed in shock.
"It is nice to see you here, Yesha." I can almost hear the cold edge teetering in his voice. Is he... mad? Zayne cleared his throat before speaking again.
"Why don't you introduce me to your companion?" Zayne asked.
"Ahh, yes of course. I don't think I have introduced him to you yet. Doctor Zayne this Xavier, my coworker and my friend. Xav, this is my primary care physician, Zayne." I saw Zayne's eyes twitch a little before returning back into his stern face.
"Nice to meet you, Xavier. She's talked about you a lot. I'm glad to finally meet you in flesh." They both shaked hands.
"Well, how about we all share a table. Are you dining here, Zayne?" I asked and he nodded once. "Yes, I'm on my lunch break right now."
"Great. Xavier and I will find a seat."
It did not take us long before we found a seat near the window. The sun isn't as blaring as it would be and it feels so nice on the skin.
Zayne came to the table with our orders and he sat on the opposite of mine and Xavier's seat.
The time passed by like a blur and we talked about anything under the sun. Well—Xavier and I, of course—I tried to make Zayne engage with us but his response was precise and he just nods. Our lunch was finished in less than an hour.
"Well, it's nice to meet you, Doctor Zayne. I've heard lots about you and I'm glad to finally meet you. I don't want to be rude, but I need to go now." Xavier said and he stood up, grabbing all his stuff.
"What? Why? What happened? Is there an emergency? A wandere?" I asked already preparing myself to fight.
"Okay, darling. Calm down. Jeremiah just needs my help on Philo. I'll be back before midnight." I nodded and I shooed him away. "Oh? Is that so? Then what are you waiting for? Get the heck out of here." Xavier laughed softly as he went out of the café.
Once Zayne and I are the only ones left in the table, I fiddled with my hands before looking at him. "Sooooo, uhm, let's go?"
Zayne nodded once again before pulling my hands gently yet his hold on me is firm. He dragged me to his car parked on the other side of the street and hugged me really tightly.
"Your friend was rather clingy." I felt him stroke my hair. "It's just how he is." I replied softly.
"He called you darling. And you haven't been answering my texts since morning." I gently pulled away and I looked at my phone.
"Oh, Zaynie. I'm so sorry. We were so busy fixing that wretched coffee table I didn't know." I bit my lips guiltily.
"And you introduced me to him as your physician. Not even a childhood friend." I pressed my lips together after he said that. I could feel the accusing undertone he laced his words with.
"Well, I mean... You are technically my primary care physician..." Zayne gave me a glare before sighing. "Okay, I'm sorry. I just didn't want people to able to spread lies about you."
Zayne massaged the bridge of his nose and patted my forehead. "I already missed years without you by my side because of my solitude. I do not want to lose you now, Yesha. Other people are the least of my concern at this moment."
I looked up at him with my teary eyes and I gave him a tight hug. "I'm sorry for denying you, Zayne." Zayne chuckled and he cupped my face before wiping the traitorous tears on my face.
"Maybe I'm just jealous but could you please refrain from being handsy with your friend, Xavier? It makes me want to encapsulate him in an ice block. And that's so rude." I laughed before kissing his cheeks. "Yes, Zaynie"
Author's note: This is my first fic that I posted here and I hoped I did well. I also think this is kind of ooc because it's a self insert but I hope it's still good. I just let my hands do whatever my brain wants and here it is. Thank you for reading this and thank you for the invitation, nikaaaaa.

THE GOOD WITCH

featuring . . . ! patrick zweig, art donaldson, remus lupin, rafe cameron, steve harrington, spencer reid, aaron hotchner, tasm!peter parker, dodge mason, dave lizewski
─── hello hello how are we ??? i’ve been a huge maisie peters fan for a few years now, and since she’s been teasing her next album i thought i’d do something fun to kind of commemorate the good witch before we move on to MP3. i’ve also been experiencing some major writers block :/// so! to combat that, here are some fics that are VERY VERY loosely inspired by some of the songs from the album <333 i hope you enjoy !!

TRACK ONE : THE GOOD WITCH [patrick zweig x reader]
when all i do is think about the past, create a universe that you can live in
you’ve done a lot of growing in the 4 years you and patrick have been broken up. you’re hoping he has as well because you’re still desperately in love with him.

TRACK TWO : COMING OF AGE [dave lizewski x reader]
baby i am the iliad, of course you couldn’t read me. so i’ll leave you behind but that don’t mean it’s easy
dave’s had a crush on you since he could remember, but he’d driven you away with his superhero duties. you’re the TA of his class and he’s determined to get it right this time.

TRACK THREE : WATCH [spencer reid x reader]
nobody actually happy and healthy has ever felt so desperate to prove it
you’re trying to show the team that you’re fine after spencer’s return from prison. if you were coping well, you probably wouldn’t have to try so hard.

TRACK FOUR : BODY BETTER [art donaldson x reader]
i can’t help thinking has she got a better body? has she got a body better than mine?
your boyfriend patrick is convinced that you have a thing for tennis players. you say the same about him. it doesn’t help that you’re both sleeping with one.

TRACK FIVE : WANT YOU BACK [remus lupin x reader]
and what was cheap to you, to me was all i had. the issue is i know all of this and i still want you back
remus was punishing you for something that wasn’t your fault. you should hate him. unfortunately, you can’t bring yourself to.

TRACK SIX : THE BAND AND I [dodge mason x reader]
told her you were just a friend, told her i was homesick. i hadn’t thought of home twice
after moving across the country to go live with your aunt and participate in panic, you’re wary of the boy who works at the diner she owns. he’s wary of you too.

TRACK SEVEN : YOU’RE JUST A BOY (AIKTM) [aaron hotchner x reader]
don't you see what i'm giving up and you can't even text? don't be surprised now i'm giving up, god, what did you expect?
aaron isn't a bad boyfriend, he just tends to get caught up in his job. you wouldn't mind his constant abandonment so much if he didn't always forget to tell you.

TRACK EIGHT : LOST THE BREAKUP [tasm!peter parker x reader]
so, i'm feeling and i'm dealing with the heart you broke, while you do press-ups and repress us and take off her clothes.
for peter parker, you're it: the one that got away, the best thing that ever happened to him. now that you're broken up, he expects that you hate him. he could be right; you can hate someone and still need them to save your life.

TRACK NINE : WENDY [rafe cameron x reader]
then you're evasive on the phone until you're sorry on the floor. so i'm throwing you a bone cause you want me and you're sure. if i'm not careful i'll wake up and we'll be married and i'll still flinch at the sound of a door.
it's been unspoken and set in stone for as long as you'd known each other: you and rafe were in it for the long haul. you've loved rafe since you were young. now that you've grown up, your feelings haven't changed, you're just waiting for him to grow up as well.

TRACK TEN : BSC [steve harrington x reader]
i'm gonna throw you down the river, your mom can watch it over dinner, golden boy you've dropped the ball. i am annie fucking hall. if you don't love me, what was april?
steve thought breaking up with you after his experience with the upside down would be his best bet of keeping you safe. unfortunately for him, you don't know how to keep your nose out of his business.

these will come out every so often depending on how well they do lmao i hope u like them ik this is different than the stuff i’ve done so far :]]] ty to @robinsgrl and @xxepherr for letting me yap abt these as much as i like :]

birthday cake -quinn hughes-

summary: quinn believes everyone forgot his birthday in favor of thanksgiving. but that's simply not the case
word count: 2k
pairing: quinn hughes x reader
notes: in honor of the love of my life's birthday, i decided to cook up this little gem. hope everyone enjoys it. (should've been posted on his birthday but i got super busy because of thanksgiving & other projects i'm working on)
"hey quinn. do you have any plans for monday?"
"actually, yes." quinn looked up from his phone as brock entered the room. "why?"
"my sister wanted to invite you over to her place for thanksgiving. she said she gave you an invitation the other day but you just shoved it in your bag and that you haven't said anything to her since then."
"that's what that was? i thought she was just handing me some mail that was put in the wrong box."
"have you not seen her since tuesday? you live across the hall from each other."
"i know but our schedules haven't given us the time to chat. she's working when i'm home, and vice versa."
"you should text her and tell her you're going to be busy on monday. i think it would be best coming from you. maybe she won't be upset."
"i'll text her after practice." quinn set his phone in his bag and finished lacing up his skates.
during practice, everyone was talking about y/n's thanksgiving dinner. quinn was the only one who wouldn't be attending. and while he felt bad about it, seeing as she was one of his good friends, he also started to feel bad for himself.
monday was also his 25th birthday but it seemed like no one remembered.
practice went well. so when quinn walked to his car, he sent a text to y/n to let her know he wouldn't be able to show up to her dinner. he made up a lie and said he wouldn't be home.
his plan was to just stay home and watch game highlights while cooking his own meal.
when monday rolled around, y/n and brock were finishing up the food preparations when a thought occurred to y/n.
"oh my freaking god. it's the 14th today. how could i be so stupid?"
"i would love to object, or even agree, depending on what it's about." brock looked at his sister with a curious expression. he couldn't quite read her like he normally could. "care to let me know what you're talking about?"
"october 14th. quinn's birthday! how could i forget? i bake him a cake every year." y/n set her oven mitts back on the rack. "i am a terrible friend."
"i'm sure it's fine. quinn probably forgot about the cake anyway. pretty sure you're in the clear, y/n."
"brock, i've made the cake every single year since we've been friends. he loves it. you should see the way his face lights up when i deliver it to him."
"are you sure it's the cake he likes to see every year?" brock raised his eyebrow, earning a slap to the shoulder from his younger sister.
"brock, no."
"look, just bake him a cake today and give it to him tomorrow. i'm sure he won't mind."
"i don't have the time or oven space to bake a whole new cake." y/n shook her head. "i'm gonna run to the store and buy him one instead.
"people are going to be here any moment. i'm afraid it's gonna have to wait."
"can you please keep them company? i'll be back in 20 minutes."
"you're lucky you're my sister and i love you." brock smiled. "now go fix your friendship with your neighbor."
"love you, brocky." y/n kissed his forehead and went out to her car. she hated the idea of buying a cake from the store. it didn't have the personal touch that her homemade cake did and she knew it wouldn't live up to it either. but she was desperate.
when she got back to her apartment, brock was the only one there.
"nobody's here yet?"
"not yet. mom and steve are almost here. been getting location updates from steve."
"did he let mom drive?"
"yeah. that's probably why they're not here yet." brock chuckled and grabbed the cake from her hands. "this looks amazing. are you gonna try to pass it off as your own?"
"no. i could never lie to quinn." y/n smiled and took it back, setting it down in the fridge. "i'm just going to tell him the truth."
"that's new for you. are you that honest with everyone?"
"i don't think so. there's something different about quinn. he makes me want to be honest."
"have you ever lied to me?"
"no. of course not."
"okay. good." he looked at his sister. "i want you to answer a question then. i'm only gonna ask it once."
"alright. shoot."
"is there something going on between you quinn?"
"no, brock. that would be ridiculous."
"okay. i'm gonna ask it twice. is there something going on between you and quinn?"
"no. you told me he was off limits for dating, as well as the rest of your teammates. but i would be lying to you if i said i didn't think he was really good looking."
"you really think so?" brock's eyes widened at his sisters confession.
"mhm. i do. like, super insanely good looking."
"okay. well, thanks for the honesty." brock couldn't help but chuckle.
before y/n could respond, there was a knock at the door, followed by a few voices.
"sounds like your guests are here. i'll let them in." brock went to the door and opened it, letting their parents inside, along with a few other guests.
y/n spent the first half hour finishing up the meal before brock served it to everyone.
conversation flowed easily around the table, but y/n was stuck thinking about quinn. all his friends were with her and he was most likely alone.
when she stood up abruptly, it caught everyone's attention.
"are you okay?" brock asked.
"yeah. i just have something i really need to do." y/n walked over to the fridge and grabbed the cake. she left her apartment without another word and knocked on quinn's door.
"hey. what are you doing here?" quinn smiled when he answered the door.
"happy birthday." y/n handed him the cake and walked back towards her apartment.
quinn was left standing in his own doorway, staring at the cake. he was used to getting a cake from y/n every year. it was always homemade & this time, it was store bought. but he didn't care. someone actually remembered his birthday.
y/n walked back into her apartment and sat back down at the table. she ignored the looks everyone was giving her and continued eating. everyone went back to eating and talking with each other, quickly forgetting that y/n disappeared for a moment.
a few hours later, everyone was heading out. brock stayed behind to help y/n clean up.
"what did quinn say when you gave him the cake?"
"how did you know that's what i did?"
"you were beating yourself up over missing his birthday. and you left right after i told mom about quinn's goal the other night."
"i wasn't even paying attention to the conversations around me. all i could think about was how quinn's friends were here and nobody mentioned his birthday. i felt bad so i took the cake to him."
"and what did he say?"
"i have no idea. i came right back over here." y/n finished washing the last dish and handed it to brock so he could dry it.
"maybe you should go see him right now. i'm sure he would appreciate some company for the last little bit of his birthday. Oh, and take him some leftovers. dinner was delicious and i guarantee he'll love it." brock grabbed a plate and put all the food he could fit onto it. when he handed it to his sister, she hesitated. "take it to him, y/n. you can't keep beating yourself up over forgetting his birthday."
"you're right." she took the plate and walked to the door. "i'll be back."
"i'll be here." brock chuckled and started putting away the rest of the leftovers.
y/n knocked on quinn's door and waited patiently. when he opened it, she handed him the plate. he looked at her and smiled.
"what's this for?"
"thought you might like some leftovers from today."
"oh. well thank you. smells delicious." he set the plate on the table by the door. "would you like to come in? or do you still have company over there?"
"just brock." y/n smiled and walked into his apartment. "so, how was your birthday?"
"it was good. i got to have breakfast with my parents and then i went to the gym for a bit. then i got a cake delivered to me. it was amazing, by the way."
"really?" y/n smiled. "i'm sorry it wasn't homemade this year. i'm ashamed to admit that i briefly forgot about your birthday and i didn't have enough time to bake you a cake. but i can make up for it if you want."
"look, it doesn't matter to me whether it was homemade or store bought. all i care about is the company that comes with it each year." quinn smiled. "also, thank you for stopping by today. i thought everyone forgot my birthday."
"but quinn, i did forget."
"you remembered eventually. that's all that matters to me. things like that stand out and i appreciate it. more than you think." he sighed. "other than my parents, you're the only one who remembered. so, thank you."
"you're welcome. and i promise i'll make up for almost missing your 25th birthday."
"you don't have to. you're here now. and honestly, your company is the only thing i wanted this year."
"wait, really?"
"yeah. it's the one thing i look forward to for every birthday, no matter how brief it is."
"are you serious?"
"yes. very serious." quinn hesitantly reached for y/n's hand and when she didn't yank it away, he slowly intertwined his fingers with hers. "i'm not sure if you can tell but i like you. i've liked you since the first second i saw you move in across the hall. but unfortunately, i can't do anything about this."
"and why not?" y/n was confused. she liked quinn and it was becoming evident he liked her too. but she didn't understand why nothing could happen.
"you're brock's little sister. it wouldn't be right. it just-"
quinn was unable to finish his sentence. he was pulled forward and y/n's lips were placed on his, softly.
"what was that for?" he asked when y/n pulled away from the kiss.
"your birthday present, dummy." y/n smiled. "and because i like you, quinn."
"you....you do?"
"yes. i don't bake a cake for anyone else's birthday, you know."
"but what about brock?" quinn looked all over her face.
"i'm 24 years old, quinn. brock can't tell me who i can and can't have feelings for." y/n smiled and leaned closer. "besides, i think he actually wants us to be together."
"what makes you say that?"
"he kept encouraging me to come over here to see you. even gave me the plate so i'd have a reason to come over here." she glanced at quinn. "not that i didn't already have a really good reason to come and see you tonight anyway."
"i'm really glad you came over tonight. and kissed me." quinn smirked. "god, i sound like a freaking teenager when he gets his very first girlfriend."
"it's cute." y/n smiled and looked at where her leg touched his. "i think i know the answer to this, but are you enjoying your birthday?"
"i really am." he couldn't help the smile that came upon his face. "i'm still trying to get over the initial shock of you liking me back."
"it's the same for me. guess we can figure it out together, huh?"
"yeah. i guess we can." quinn held her hand and looked at her fingers. "is every part of you just perfect?"
"yes. i do believe every part of me is perfect. perfect in my own special way."
quinn chuckled at the girl he oh so admired. "would it be alright if i kissed you?"
"quinn, you know you don't have to ask." y/n smiled and gave quinn what he wanted. really, what they both wanted.

Old friends, older lovers
Bucky Barnes x reader
John Walker reunites with an old friend of his while hunting down Zemo in Riga. He is very confused when he learns who she's visiting.
Learning that John was given the mantle of Captain America came as a shock to you, sitting besides Bucky who was seething with rage. After having been at Steve's side for decades you both didn't feel like a new Cap should be chosen so quickly after Sam had donated the shield.
It was barely a day later that the two of you found Sam who was in the middle of a job along with his new partner. You watched as Sam and Bucky bickered and fell into an argument, something about wizards and aliens or something. Luckily it settled and you were updated on their plans, staying sidelined while they went out in the field but meeting back up with them afterwards, wherever they may find themselves.
You learned they were going after a group called the Flag Smashers. You ended up staying back with Joaquin, who, eventually also had to leave for field research and you were left alone.
That was, until your phone dinged on the second day of being alone and a message from Bucky popped up. It started with a phone number and a name along with a brief update of their mission plans. You had barely saved the number to your phone when a notification popped up coming from said number.
[Hello, This is Helmut Zemo. James gave me your number so we could arrange your travels to my safehouse.] After the initial text a bunch of photos with tickets, reservations and flight details popped up.
It seemed everything was ready for you to grab a bag and leave, but you did feel the need to double check everything with Bucky, giving him a call and praying he wasn't too busy.
'Hey Peach, I guess Zemo sent you all your info?'
You nodded against the phone at your ear. "Yeah he did, I just wanted to check with you before I hopped on a plane to a random country in Europe." You gave him the details from the photos and heard him hum along from the other end of the call.
'Yeah that's all matching up. I know it's quick but I can't wait to see you there.' In thr distance you could hear Sam's voice yelling at Bucky to hurry up and you quickly said your goodbyes before he hung up.
It didn't take long before you were in the destination town and opted to walk instead of take a cab to the location you had been sent. It wasn't too far and you only had one bag with you which had wheels so dragging it along wasn't a concern either. Besides, you loved sightseeing and the town was absolutely gorgeous.
Your decision to walk proved to a good one when you rounded a corner and ran straight into the back of none other than Captain America himself.
"Oh my god I'm sorry!" You quickly apologised before looking up and seeing the familiar face of John Walker.
"Hey! What brings you here?" John was all smiles, a hand on your shoulder to keep your balance. "We were about to grab something to eat, wanna join? Feels like we haven't seen each other in ages."
You happily agreed with food and a chat, joining John and Lemar down the street to a kind vendor who excitedly shared his love for Captain America and how he felt honored to make his food.
"So, what brings you here, so far from home?" You, John and Lemar sat around a small table near the food truck, enjoying simple but fantastic meat sandwiches.
You swallowed your bite before explaining your reason for visit. "I'm here to visit my boyfriend! Decided to do some sightseeing on thr way to his place and, well," you gestured at the two men sitting with you. "now I'm here, seeing my old friends that recsntly went from regular heroes to superheroes."
Lemar quickly humbled John and himself. "Hey now, we're still those same two human soldiers you met all those years ago." John nodded along with a mouthful of food. "We just have different official titles now."
John kept up the nodding as he finished another bite, but he couldn't let his curiosity slide. "So, tell me about that boyfriend. He live closeby?"
"Oh, no he lives in the states. We're staying at a coworker's place I guess." You guessed indeed, unsure who Zemo was in relation to Bucky. "He's here for work and wanted me to visit during their downtime. I'm lucky they're in such a pretty town, there's history around every corner."
With your food all finished you kindly returned the serving tray to the vendor and left him a generous tip as you thanked him for the delicious food once more.
"Where are you heading?" John's ever enthusiastic voice sounded behind you after you grabbed your bag, ready to move out.
Turns out you were heading into the same direction and decided to walk together until either of you had to take a different turn. Except that turn didn't happen all too soon, so when your paths split it was only because Lemar got an important phonecall the boys had to answer and stayed behind as you went on.
It only took a few more turns for you to arrive at the address and walk through the large double doors at the top of the steps.
The building was old. Thst much was clear from the outside already, but the inside was on a whole different level with its intricate tilework and colored windows. You were so lost in all the beautiful detaila from the painted tile floor to the pillars reaching up to the ceiling with an equal amount of painted details that you hadn't noticed the man on the couch.
"Ah, you must be James' partner." The sudden voice had you spin around so fast you were surprised you didn't give yourself whiplash. Clutching your chest you stared at the man, wide eyes oposite kind brown ones. "My apologies, I did not mean to scare you."
You followed the man as he stood and strode towards the bar at the other end of the room. "I take it you like my humble vacation home? Please, let me get you a drink, dear."
You were sat at the bar with a fruity drink in hand as you laughed with who you quickly learned was Helmut Zemo, the one who had arranged and paid for your travels. You learned a lot in the short time you talked. Zemo loved his drinks, and sweets. He had stashes all around the place.
Your glas was almost empty when behind you the large door opened and the sound of men arguing filled the once peacefull room.
"You are so out of line, Walker."
"We made it clear he's gonna be handed over to the Wakandans the second we're done here. You knew this!"
"No, you broke a criminal out of prison. Zemo is coming back with us. Now."
Sam, Bucky and John stomped into the place with Lemar trailing behind, not even trying to get a word in on the discussion at hand.
"Wait." The soft thud of your glass hitting the bar top rung through the room. "Criminal? Zemo? What?" Your eyes darted between the man behind the counter to the men still near the entrance, paused in their steps at the sight of you.
Zemo, for once, stayed quiet. Much to everyone else's annoyance, so Sam spoke up and stepped forward.
"Long story short, your boyfriend broke Zemo out of prison because he knows everything there is about the old Winter Soldier sfuff and has crazy connections."
"Sorry for not telling you the whole truth, sweetheart." Bucky finally stepped past Sam to meet you at the bar, his hands snaking around your waist and pressing a soft kiss to your temple. "You're not mad, right?" He stepped back to look you in the eyes. Relief washing over him when you only smiled and shook your head.
All the while you and Bucky talked, on the other end of the room stood John, frozen in place with only his eyes ever so slightly moving to look between you and Bucky.
"Hello? Earth to Walker. John?" Sam waved a hand in front of the current Cap's face who only then blinked and found himself back on earth.
"Bucky? You said you were here to visit your boyfriend. At his friend's place." He had his shielded arm raised and pointing. "That," Pointing at Bucky beside you. "is a century old ex-assassin. And that," moving his hand towards Zemo behind the bar. "is not his friend." John was all
Exaggerated motions and exclaimations as he tried to wrap his head around it all.
"How long, since when? This guy was an assassin, then disappeared to god knows where in nowhere-Europe and immediately after that got shipped off to Wakanda. He's been back in the states for, what? A few months and those have been packed with court meetings and therapy." Your old friend's impatient nature showed with how he could barely finish one sentence before starting another already, desperate for answers.
"Since our.. early twenties, if I remember correctly." You looked towards Bucky for confirmation and you could see him dig for the details of said times. "Yeah, I believe you just turned twenty at the time. Promised you a gift so we went out to that book thing with Stevie." There was fondness in Bucky's recollection of the memory of your lives before the two of you were forced to take a break from your relationship.
The gears turning in John's head were amusing Sam to the point of laughing out loud and needed to sit down before he fell over.
"And you're still gorgeous, peachy lady! Best looking one-hundred and five year-old woman I've ever met." Sam's ever so supportive self decided to make an appearance, knowing it always left you in a weird headspace when your real age was mentioned. It was rhe sole reason John and Lemar didn't already know, seeing they were your friends during the times you couldn't spend with Bucky.
"So when we-- you were, what? Ninety-something years old?" While John kept his shocked expression, Lemar had quickly formulated a list of things that suddenly made sense in his head.
"You know, it suddenly makes sense why your cooking reminded me of staying at my grandparents' place." His nods were of approval and understanding and you made sure to give him a thankful nod in return.
Bucky's brows raised at John's text. "When you.. what, exactly? How do you know eachother, peach?"
"Oh god, Bucky! No. No absolutely not. We met because we had mutual friends and we'd hang out when they weren't out on missions." His look was still skeptical.
"For fuck's sake, Bucky. I faked being married to you for years, remember?"
"Oh yeah," John finally regained the ability to speak once more. "She made it very clear thst she was taken, to thr point of everyone dying to meet the guy who conveniently never had time when she hung out with the group. I now see why."
Zemo was the one to really continue the conversation from that point on, having all kinds of questions about certain points in time everyone knew through news and history books, but it was all cut short when the Dora Milaje stormed in, demanding to take Zemo away, which was quickly interrupted by John's ego and turned into a fight.
A gentle hand on your shoulder and a sign to be quiet later you were slowly led into the bathroom of Zemo's home and down a sewer cover down into safety.
With a quick text to let Bucky know where you were waiting for him you sat down at the small coffee place teo blocks down and ordered a pastry and a drink.
This was going to be one interesting vacation..

yard work - chapter 15 (regina george x reader)
fandom: Mean Girls (all media)
pairing: Regina George x OFC/Reader
summary: You'd been in the same class as Regina George since kindergarten. You'd lived on the same street even longer. Once upon a time, when life was sandbox disputes and who got the swing first arguments, you'd even been friends. Now, in junior year of high school, you doubted she even remembered you. The same couldn't be said about you. You definitely remembered her.
chapter 1 / chapter 2 / chapter 3 / chapter 4 / chapter 5 / chapter 6 / chapter 7 / chapter 8 / chapter 9 / chapter 10 / chapter 11 / chapter 12 / chapter 13 / chapter 14 / chapter 16
Shivering in the cold, hiding beneath the bleachers, you held your cigarette between trembling fingers. Crouched on your feet so you wouldn't have to sit in the snow, your legs were already going numb.
Taking a drag, you held back tears. She'd tried, she picked you, and you didn't want it. No, you did want it, but didn't believe it.
Your phone beeped. It'd been ringing and pinging since you left. Kylie and Mrs George were worried about you. You'd text them back soon enough, let them know you felt under the weather, and that you were home.
"You're so predictable, y'know," You startled so badly that you toppled into the snow.
"Fuck!" The burning bit of your cigarette fell onto your hand. "Ouch! Fuck!"
"Should be flattered or offended?" Regina—fuck, Regina—stood over you, hands on her hips. She was still in just the camp tee. You spied the hairs on her arms were prickling.
"What do you want?" You grouched, flicking your barren cigarette away.
"What did you think of the song?" She cocked out a hip and crossed her arms.
You got up, not wanting to crane your neck as you had this conversation. You brushed off the snow clinging to your clothes.
"Real pretty. I..." You could pay her a compliment. Casually. "I do like your singing voice."
"I know. You've told me. I also know you're not intellectually challenged, so..." She trailed off, eyebrows quirking and eyes scanning your face.
"Yeah," You sighed. "A song isn't gonna do it."
"Just wanted to make sure you got the message." She straightened her spine and uncrossed her arms, instead intertwining her fingers in front of her. She took a deep breath and spoke:
"I'm sorry. I don't know if... I'm sorry for back then. When I left you in middle school. I don't know if explaining why would help, because," She glanced up at you. "I don't want to make excuses. You were my friend, my best friend, and I should've done better. Done right by you."
You didn't know quite what to say.
"I'm also sorry for Thanksgiving. I'm sorry I freaked out like that. I felt..." She fiddled with her fingers. "Rejected, I guess, and I didn't know how to handle it. I should've handled it better, that's for sure."
You stood there, waiting to feel some relief or happiness or even anger. Anything.
"I know apologies aren't gonna be enough. I tried to prove to you with that song that..." She swallowed. "That you're more important to me than status. I don't need to wow everybody if I had you. I've changed."
She looked up at you, also waiting. Still nothing.
"Do you think you'd already be hugging me if whatever happened today hadn't happened?" She bit her lip. "I'll make them pay, y'know."
"I thought you'd changed." You parrotted her words back at her. Brain whirring to action, you digested that it hadn't been her. Or maybe she was bluffing.
"Not that much. Not enough to not do anything when somebody hurts you."
"I..." You examined her, brow furrowing. "I haven't told many people. Only you and Mrs George. Janis, too."
"You told Janis?" Indignant, Regina's voice rose and arms spread. She was getting cold you could tell, because she shivering intensely, teeth chattering if not for the clench of her jaw.
"It came up some time ago." Back when I was still defending you. "Solidarity, y'know."
"Okay, fine, but why do you assume they had to know? There's been buzz about your sexuality before, unprompted." Her eyes narrowed. "I would know. I took care of them."
You blinked. "What?"
"Obviously. You..." She looked away as if looking for a way to convey what she meant without speaking it. "I just didn't want that. For you."
Was she lying to you? Trying to manipulate you? What was her goal? You didn't trust yourself to believe this was all sincerity and the lack of foundation, the instability of your own conclusions, made you feel crazy.
You circled back, refusing to process Regina supposedly protecting you all this time. What did it mean? No, not now.
"Yeah, but why now? Isn't the timing a little too convenient?" You accused, looking at Regina closely for signs of guilt. "You had every reason, all the power, to fuck me over, Regina. I think it was you."
"What? No. Why would I do that? I just dedicated a song to you!" She sounded frantic. "I've kept you safe!"
"I don't know! Why would Gretchen shout that I was lesbian in the middle of their performance? How would she know unless somebody told her?" You ran your hands through your hair and turned away from her. "Maybe you wanted me to run back into your arms so you could pick up the broken pieces. The pieces you broke."
"I did not tell Gretchen. I don't know why she did that and I don't know why I expected a fucking Britney Spears song to change anything, but I fucking tried!" She took a step back, pausing for a moment. "I don't want to shout. Let's not shout."
"I- are you fucking kidding me? Are you actually fucking kidding? Things didn't go your way, I didn't respond like you wanted, and you don't want to shout. You don't control me, Regina, I have my own life, my own things, I don't need you!"
You inhaled the cold air until it burned in your lungs.
"Okay. Feel better now?"
You felt the blood rush to your head, painting you red and exploding out in a shout.
"Shut up! No! No, I don't feel better. I would've felt better if you ever fucking listened to me or talked to me. It doesn't even matter what happened back then, because, yeah, it hurt, but we were kids. I know why you did what you did and no, it wasn't right, but I get it. Now, though?" Your chest bubbled with hysterical laughter. "We're nearly adults, Regina. Why- why..." Why couldn't you treat me better? That, just less pathetic. "Why did you have to be such a bitch?"
"I get it, okay. You don't have to forgive me. We can just move on." Her voice trembled, from the cold and something else.
You clenched your fists so hard your hands shook, squeezed your eyes shut so tight you felt the tension in your forehead, and so badly wanted to throw a tantrum on the ground like a toddler. Your hands found your hair and tugged.
"I don't know! I don't know!" Your voice was beginning to sound more and more like a wail. "I want to move on, I've had enough of feeling like this but I don't- I love you but what am I supposed to do with that? I should- should just hate you- I don't know what to think."
You pulled, tugged, and felt some rip out of your scalp. The world was spinning around you, leaving you behind in the impossible pressure of space. Your skull was full to bursting, bees buzzing between your ears.
"Who was it?" You hiccuped and resented the hot tears painting streaks on your cheeks. "Why would they do that to me?" You were angry but so, so tired.
"Hey, J, stop that." Regina pulled at your hands, still knotted in your hair. You let her move you, all tuckered out from shouting. Your body shook.
"I'm tired... I wanna go home." Your eyes closed. Regina was still touching you. She had you by your forearms.
"Okay. I'll drive you." She whispered. You couldn't look at her. Shame was crawling down your spine, settling deeper with every passing second.
"With what? Didn't Mrs George drive you?" You slumped against the back of the bleachers. Regina followed, stayed close with her hands on your arms.
"I'll drive your car." She spoke softly. A part of you bristled, not standing to be patronized, but you didn't have the energy anymore.
For a moment, not a word was said. With tentative movements, Regina's hands trailed from your arms to your torso, slipping into your coat and around your back. Her head came to rest on your shoulder as she held you close. Your skin crawled at the contact, but reluctantly, as if your body was used to her, you sunk into her.
Your arms hung limply at your sides.
"Notice me," Your eyes fluttered open when she uttered the melody. "Take my hand,"
Her hands petted at your back, scratching lightly with her long nails.
"Why are we, strangers when, our love is strong?"
In the darkness of a wintery night, breath-creating wisps in the air, she sang and held you. It was impossible to ignore the poetic setting, the sappiness of the moment. Even so, you could appreciate it. A little.
"Why carry on without me?"
It was nowhere as good as she'd been on stage. The acoustics outside in the snow, below the bleachers were even worse than in the gym. But it was just for you, this time around.
You tried to hold your breath, tried to keep it in. Not now, not here. Not for her. Again.
"And every time I try to fly I fall without my wings," She lifted her head and you looked at her. She paused there. "You're the wings." With a little smile, she continued singing. All the while looking at you.
Your head felt too big, like somebody had blown it full of air. You'd float away if she wasn't holding you down.
"I feel so small. I guess I need you, baby," The backs of your eyes heated up, the tear ducts stinging, and you bowed your head. Your arms came around her and wound tight around her neck.
"And every time I see you in my dreams, I see your face. It's haunting me. I guess I need you, baby,"
You sobbed. You sobbed and sobbed, interrupting her song, and wept into her collar. You missed her. You wanted to be with her so badly. You didn't want any of this to happen. You wanted things to be easy. Why did this have to be so hard? This was all unfair.
You cried at the injustice, cried for the hurt she'd made you feel, for the pain you'd made her feel and the names you'd called her. You wept because there was little else you could do.
"I'm sorry. I- I don't know what to do." You tried to breathe in, but your breath kept wooshing out of you. Every single orifice in your face flowed with fluid and you felt thoroughly disgusting. You couldn't stop it.
"We'll figure it out." Regina's voice was soft and her face even softer through your blurry vision. All hazy, gentle shapes.
"I'm- I'm scared." You whimpered, holding onto her shoulders.
"I know." Her arms tightened, holding secure around your waist. "I know, baby, it's gonna be okay."
"I'm still angry with- with you."
"That's okay."
"I dunno if we can... Y'know."
"I don't care. I just want you."
"Woah," You laughed, still sounding a tad bit hysterical. "Deep."
"Shut up." You could tell from her voice that she was rolling her eyes. "I preferred it when you were shouting at me."
Your laughter mixed with a hiccup.
"I don't believe that." Your voice wobbled since you still weren't quite done crying, apparently. Mortifying.
"You shouldn't." She amended, burrowing deeper into your coat.
With her hands rubbing your back, your fronts pressed so close together, you calmed down pretty fast. Your eyes stung and your nose was blocked. You felt dried out, like all moisture had been sucked out of you.
You knew this already. Every time, you'd go back. Every time, she'd wriggle under your skin and find solace in your heart and you couldn't even resist. Not really, anyhow, not effectively.
You wanted to believe she'd be there to stay, this time around.
"Can we go soon?" She asked, noticing your weeping had mostly concluded.
"Ugh," You groaned, head falling to rest on hers. "You think the crowd's been let out yet?"
"No, there's a sock puppet play that lasts ages. I think it was Hamlet or something."
"Sock puppet Hamlet? Reg, I think we need to go back in."
"No, nope, not if I have your keys!" She felt around in your back pockets. You did usually keep them there, but they'd been digging into your ass when you were sitting in the gym. They were in your coat pockets instead.
"Woah, take me to dinner first, jeez," Just like that, her hands detached like your butt was stove-hot.
"Sorry," She muttered. The mood shifted, the lighthearted and familiar air turning awkward.
"It's all good." Was it? It didn't feel weird, there was nothing sexual about what she'd done, but you weren't sure how you could say that. You yourself weren't sure what your boundaries were. You weren't even sure if you wanted to be vulnerable like that now.
She looked up at you with a contemplative look on her face. You looked back, waiting for her to ask something. When she didn't you shrugged.
"Let's go to yours." She said and then waited for you to... Do something again. You nodded. "I'll order, uh... What do you feel like eating?"
"I can cook-"
"I want take out, Jorts, so we're getting take out, 'kay?"
You tried not to smile at that.
"Whatever you say." You patted her on the back. She hummed, satisfied.
"Let's do Chinese. Sound good?" You nodded along, eyes closing. "We sleep. In the morning, we'll go for a walk. We'll talk about serious stuff during or after the walk?"
"Do we gotta go for a walk?" You asked petulantly.
"Yes." She said and did not elaborate.
"Fine, I guess."
Notes: A confrontation! At last! I couldn't keep the readers hanging for long, that would've just been cruel. I do have a nasty tendency to finish chapters with cliffhangers. Am I the drama? Noooo...
Btw, being transparent here, I named this fic "yard work" back when I was still thinking it was gonna be a one-shot, so (at least IMO) it doesn't really fit the series as a whole at this point. If I were to change it to, let's say, "everytime" would that be confusing or what? If the change were to happen it'd only be after this was completed, so no worries there. Just let me know y'all's thoughts!
Taglist will be posted separately! If you wish to be added on there, comment on that post :)

They had met in the most rom-com of ways…. she was moving in and he heard a commotion in the hallway.
He looked through the peephole and saw a very attractive woman carrying one too many boxes up the stairs and into the adjacent apartment.
The commotion was her spewing every curse word as she carried the boxes up the stairs. He chuckled a bit and opened the door, silently hoping that she didn't recognize him.
“Hey, do you need help? Is anyone else helping you out?” He said, catching her off guard, causing the top box to fall down. Thankfully, his reflexes were quick and he caught the box, she smiled.
“Thank you, cute guy.” She grins, “I know I should lie and say yes someone's helping me so I don't end up on the news later tonight, but this is my third trip up here and there's still a million things in the truck downstairs… so, yes I need help.” She sighed, placing the boxes on the floor inside her apartment.
He chuckled and awkwardly stood at the door, not wanting to intrude on… the empty apartment???
“Come in, cute guy… and sorry for calling you cute guy, don't know what else to call you.” She shrugged, watching him place the box next to the others, her eyes never leaving his frame.
He laughed and went to shake her hand, “I'm Timothée, and no worries, I wouldn't have come out here to help you if I also didn't think you were cute.” He replied, making her laugh.
He found himself thinking that he wouldn't mind making her laugh on a daily basis.
Hold up- what?
“Would've pretended that no one was home, huh?” She chuckled, walking past him to go back to her haul. He caught a whiff of her perfume and loved it, he followed behind her.
“Ahahaha, yeah exactly.” He replied, she turned and smiled at him as they walked down the steps. “So, what was your name again? I didn't catch it.”
“That's cause I didn't say it.” She shrugged, sending him a smirk as she walked out to the truck.
“Ah, well I would say it's only fair that you tell me, you know- since you know mine now.” He replied, stepping into the truck and gathering a couple of boxes together.
“It's Y/n.” She said, sending him a shy smile.
“Y/n.” He says, smiling as she nods and walks past him with her boxes. “Y/n.” He repeats, liking the way it rolls off his tongue.
“Don't wear it out, now.” She jokes.
He thought it was the most beautiful name he'd ever heard. A name for this absolute goddess that will now be living right across from him.
He had spent the rest of the day helping her carry everything in, asking her questions about herself and just getting to know her. She was awesome, everything he learned about her only made him like her more.
She offered to buy him dinner, which he accepted with a blush, “You can wait for it in here and watch me unpack my kitchen boxes to find some plates and cups if you want.” She said, making him laugh.
“Sure, that sounds like a plan.”
After that, he found himself wanting to be with her more and more. She was so cute and witty, she didn't seem to know who he was, which was fine. She knew he was an actor, she just didn't know how big he really was. She knows him for him. And he loves that.
When he was home and would hear her leaving or coming back, he would open his door just to talk to her.
“Y’know you can just text me, right Timmy?” She laughed one day, “Or come over. I haven't had a friend over in a while.”
Friend.
He laughed, “Or you can come over to mine.” He offered, shrugging his shoulders.
“Ugh, it's just such a long journey.” She joked, smirking at him and resting her head on the doorframe.
He laughed, “You're cute.” He looked down at his feet as he said that, missing her blush. “Seriously, do you wanna come over? I'll cook something for you.”
She's quiet for a moment before she nods, “Yeah, lemme just get changed-”
He cuts her off, “No please! I'm in my pj's so… all good.” He chuckles, she smirks and quickly changes out of her gym shoes into her house slippers.
They're cute, they're unique, they're blue and really big, “Those look like space shoes.” He comments as she walks over, she quirks an eyebrow at his words.
“Don't diss my slippers, Timmy.” She teases.
“In a- in a good way!” He tries, she giggles and he widens the door to let her in. “Make yourself at home, I'll start cooking.” He smiles, watching as she subtly looks around.
She had been in his place before, just not recently, “You rearranged some stuff since last time, huh?”
“Ahahaha yeah, thought it was time to change it up.” He said, grabbing the TV remote and handing it to her. “Put on whatever you like.”
“Thanks.” She smiles, sitting on his couch, “It looks nice though, love the changes.”
He smiles and gets her a glass of water, “So what's new? We haven't seen each other in a while.” He asks, handing her the glass.
“You mean like a week?” She laughs, watching as he gathers some ingredients in his kitchen. He moved with ease but in reality he was nervous, this girl that he really likes is in his home, teasing him and making herself comfortable on his couch.
It's never awkward when they do this, with other people there's usually that awkward moment when they first come in, where you're not really sure what to do, but with them it was never like that.
Maybe it's because their first meeting was literally him helping her move into her apartment, but he likes to think it's because they like each other so much and are just immediately comfortable anywhere with each other.
Timothée laughs, “Yeah, it feels longer! It's like dog years.”
She snorts, “You're stupid.” his cheeks redden as she continues looking for a movie to play. She sighs and looks over at him, “You need help?”
He shakes his head, “No, I'm okay! Just find a movie for us.”
She smirks and goes onto hbo, humming as she sees the banner pop up. “The fuuuuck?”
He hums and looks over at the TV, “Uhhhhh.”
“Bitch, is that you!?!?!!???” She exclaims, “With Oscar Isaac!??!?!?!?!!!”
That makes him laugh, “Um.. y-yeah.”
“How don't I know this about you?!! You’re a whole, real actor, what the fuck.” She says in disbelief.
“Well y’know you were in school until-”
“But stillll! Oh my god I'm so uncultured.” She groans, rubbing her face, “That's so embarrassing, Timmy. I had no idea you were in these big, sci-fi films.” She says, her voice muffled from her hands.
He chuckles and walks over to her, sitting down next to her and wrapping an arm around her, rubbing her shoulder, “It's alright, I mean- I never mentioned it so…”
She looks up at him, “Yeah, why didn't you actually?”
He shrugs, “I dunno… I didn't want it to… to change anything. I just wanted to be the same old Timothée to you.”
She chuckles, “Nothing could change any of this. You're still the same little cute guy that helped me when I moved in.”
He laughs and brings his hand up to lightly pinch her cheek, “You're still the same beautiful girl with the prettiest name I've ever heard.”
“Well, I would hope so cause you didn't just find out that I'm a fucking celebrity.” She joked, her cheeks reddening at his words.
He smiled and kept his eyes locked on hers, “You're the funniest person i've ever known.” He said softly, his heart racing as he watched her smile, “Can I kiss you?” he asked, so low he didn't even hear himself say it, but she nodded.
“Yes please.” She says, his lips on hers milliseconds later.
She kisses him back, her hands going into his hair, softly tugging on it which elicits a whine from Timothée.
His hands caress her face as his soft lips meld with hers, his tongue slipping into her mouth. She hums and finds herself shifting to sit on his lap, which he welcomes. Her pussy gushes as his hands move down her body, passing her breasts, her stomach and landing on her thighs. He squeezes them and she giggles into their makeout.
“What's so funny?” He mumbles, a string of their saliva connecting them as he disconnects their lips ever so slightly.
Y/n shakes her head, looking around his apartment, his head subconsciously following hers, waiting either for a response or for her to kiss him again.
“It's just so- I can't believe this is happening, Timmy. I've liked you for so long.”
“Me too.” He replies, tucking her hair behind her ear. “I'm still praying that this isn't a dream.”
She laughs, “It feels pretty real to me, but no way of knowing.” She shrugs, running her thumb across his face. He laughs and plants another kiss on her lips.
“I've wanted this forever, Y/n/n. I've wanted all of you for months. Will you let me?” He wonders, his hands now on the waistband of her joggers.
She feels her panties dampen at his words and she nods, “Yes.” She whispers, kissing him again.
He slides a hand into her pants and runs his fingers along her panties, “Fuckkkk, you're so wet, baby.” She moans at the nickname and grinds her hips against his hand. He grins and presses a soft, wet kiss to her neck.
He takes his hand out and licks his fingers before turning her over so she's sitting on the couch and he's kneeling in front of her. She whines and he slowly pulls her joggers down her legs, delicately taking them off and placing them next to her.
“You're so cute.” She says softly, he looks up at her and smiles.
“You're beautiful.” He says, leaning forward and kissing just below her bellybutton, he peppers kisses all the way down to her thighs and moves back up to press a kiss right on her clit through her underwear.
She whines, her hips involuntarily moving up for more friction. “Please Timothée! Touch me.”
He smirks and his fingers pinch the waistband of her underwear, slowly moving them down, “It's like I'm unwrapping a present. This might be the best gift I've ever received.” He says, his eyes meeting hers, she giggles and teasingly shakes her head.
“Might?”
“Yeah I dunno, my Xbox was a pretty good one.”
She laughs and closes her legs together, stopping his agonizingly slow movements, “Fuck off.” She giggles.
He grins and spreads them open with his free hand, finally getting her panties off, “Fucking hell, baby. Your pussy is fucking heavenly.” He sighs, her pretty folds glistening already, he licks one of his fingers and runs it along them, spreading her slick around. Finally, the tip of his finger traces around her hole.
She moans at the touch, “Please, baby boy.”
His cock stiffens at both her noises and the sight of her pussy, he can't hold back any longer. He shoves his whole finger inside, slowly moving it in and out as she moans softly.
“Fuck, Timothée.” She whimpers and he adds another finger, leaning in to lick along her folds, his tongue flicking up to suck on her clit. Her hips rotate against his face at that. “Fuck! Please don't stop, baby! Mmmm fuck.” She moans, loud enough that he's sure the neighbors heard it.
He hums against her pussy, curling his fingers, massaging her walls and finding that perfect spot inside of her.
She doesn't stop moaning, they leave her mouth every few seconds, echoing across the apartment.
He pulls his fingers all the way out, gathering his saliva in his mouth before letting it fall onto her pussy. She moans at the warm sensation.
“Kiss me, Timmy.” She whines, he wastes no time in standing up and leaning over her to press his lips to hers.
“You taste so fucking good.” He mumbles against her lips, deepening the kiss, rubbing his hard on against her through his joggers.
She moans and her mouth parts against his lips, and he takes the opportunity to let some of his saliva fall into her mouth, coating her tongue before she closes her lips and swallows it.
“You're a goddess.” He praises, moving back down to her pussy. He licks at her hole, his thumb rubbing slow circles on her clit.
“Oh fuck! Mmmm yeah, mhmmmm baby, fuck.” Loud moans now emit from her endlessly, and he never wants that to stop.
He returns his two fingers inside of her, curling and easily finding her g-spot again. He licks her folds and his thumb quickens on her clit, her walls clench around his fingers and he speeds up his fingers.
Her moans hit his ears like music, mixed with the squelching noise coming from his fingers in her pussy, oh he was in heaven.
He pulls his head away to look at her, admiring the way the pleasure is etched onto her face.
“I'm so fucking close!” She moans, her eyes shut and one of her hands playing with her nipple.
He groans, wishing he could replace her hand with his own, or even with his mouth. But, in due time.
“You gonna cum for me, baby?” His hands speed up to a tireless pace, her walls constantly clenching around him.
“Uh huh.” She nods, her pitch higher than usual.
“Fuck I've thought about this so much. What you'd feel like, what you'd look like, what you'd sound like. It's all so perfect, better than what I fantasized. You're so fucking beautiful, y/n.” He moans, feeling her thighs begin to shake.
“Mmmm fuck me.” She whines, he returns his mouth to her pussy, his tongue running all along her folds, kissing them as she rubs her hips against his face. “I'm gonna cum- fuck!”
Her walls clench tightly around his fingers as her thighs shake beside his head. His eyes move up to see her face as she cums and he almost cums himself at the sight alone.
He slows his thumb down on her clit as she comes down, his fingers still inside her. “You look so beautiful when you cum for me.” He praises her.
She blushes and moves her arm to cover her face, “You're fucking incredible.” She compliments, he laughs and kisses the inside of her thigh, pulling out his fingers and licking her arousal off of them.
She sighs as the cool air hits her pussy, “I haven't cum like that in so long.”
“You wanna do it again?” He smirks, standing up completely and leaning over her, softly and quickly kissing her lips.
“Fuck yeah.” He laughs at that and offers her his hand, which she takes. He pulls her up and guides them into his room, laying her on his bed.
“I want you so bad.” He mumbles, kissing from her cheek down to her neck. She moans and wraps her arms around his neck as he sucks a hickey onto her neck, “I've wanted to mark you forever.”
She hums, her pussy gushing at his words. She reaches down to the hem of his shirt and pulls it up over his head, exposing his torso, she wolf whistles which makes him blush.
“You're so beautiful.” She says softly, running her hands across his chest.
Goosebumps rise on his skin at her touch and she smirks, he presses their lips together again, his tongue clashing with hers now.
He's needy and desperate for her now, he pulls up her shirt over her breasts and kneads one of them in his hands. She moans at that, her hips rising and rubbing against his, “Fuck.” He groans at the friction on his cock, he pulls her shirt off and places it next to them on the bed, making her smile again.
“Get these off now.” She says, sitting up a bit and reaching for his pants. She pulls on the strings to untie them and he lets her. He watches as his pants loosen up and she tugs them down, “You're hard already?” She asks, blushing at his dick poking through his boxes.
He hums, “Mmm hmmm, been for a while.” He admits, caressing her face in one of his hands.
“Fuck, Timmy that's so fucking hot.” She moans, pulling his boxers down now and leaning forward to put his dick in her mouth. His head throws back at her warm mouth almost completely taking him in.
He moans as she sucks and licks his cock, one of her hands softly stroking him, “God damn, baby, I can't- fuck- I want to be inside you already please.” He moans and she stops her movements. He takes his pants and boxers off completely and lightly pushes her onto her back, “Can I, baby? Can I be inside you?” He hums, peppering kisses on her chest, she softly moans and nods.
“Yes, please Timo.” She furiously nods, touching his face and kissing his lips.
He groans and reaches down, grabbing hold of his dick and slowly rubbing it against her folds, she loudly whines as he rubs her arousal and his precum around her pussy. Before he pushes into her, he suddenly looks at her and then to his nightstand, “Um… fuck.”
“What?” She pants, her hand gently tracing along his torso, prompting goosebumps to rise on his skin again. He sighs and meets her eyes, before he even opens his mouth she realizes. “I’m on the pill, soooo…” She drags, making him chuckle, “If you don’t have a condom, it’s okay.”
“You sure?” He asks, he desperately wants to be inside her, but if she’s worried, he’ll stop. They can always have fun in other ways tonight.
She nods, “Yes, I trust you.” She caresses his cheek and he leans into it, kissing her palm.
“I’ll pull out.”
“Okay.” She smirks, and he smiles and kisses her lips, enjoying the softness of them as he gently pushes into her. They moan into each other's mouths, their hot breaths hitting the other's lips.
“Ughhh fuck. You’re so fucking tight babygirl, god damn-” He groans, slowly thrusting in and out of her. He rests his forehead against hers, heavy breaths leaving his lips.
“You fill me up so good, baby.” She moans lightly, kissing him desperately, her tongue messily clashing with his.
He speeds up a bit, one of his hands moving down to play with her clit, her hips move up against his at the feeling.
His fingers circle on her clit and he slams into her, “OH! Mmmm fuck.” She moans, moving her head to bite his shoulder as she attempts to quiet her moans down.
“Let me hear you. I want to hear you, forever and always.” He moans, slamming into her again. She clenches around his dick at that.
Her noises get louder and louder with every thrust which only gets him more and more eager.
“You’re all mine now, right baby? I want you forever, please be mine, Y/n.” He moans, staying deep inside of her and not moving his hips.
“Really?” She asks, playing with his hair and wrapping her legs around him, pulling him even deeper inside of her if possible. She hums at the feeling as he nods.
“Yes. I like you so much and still can’t believe this is happening.” He pants as he starts thrusting again, watching her breasts bounce with each one.
He moves his head down and licks at her nipple before continuing, “You're so fucking gorgeous, funny, intelligent and your laugh is the prettiest sound I've ever heard. I'm so lucky to be inside you right now.”
Her eyes roll back at his words and her pussy squeezes around his cock as a constant stream of moans leave her mouth.
“Well… maybe the second prettiest sound.” He chuckles, kissing her cheek as she giggles.
“I like you so much, Timmy. I'll do anything with you.” She whispers, leaning up and sucking a hickey on his neck. “Can I even give you hickeys? What with your job and everything.”
He laughs and nods, “Even if you weren't supposed to I'd still fucking let you. They can just fucking deal with it.” He says and speeds his hips up, playing with one of her breasts as he makes out with her.
“Mmmm fuck Timmy-” She gasps against his lips, reaching down to play with her clit, but he redirects her hand to his back and moves his hand down to massage her clit. “Oooo fuck, fuck me.” She moans, running her hands across his back and sides.
“I'm trying.” He grunts, making her giggle. “You're perfect. You feel so good around me. I've never had a pussy this fucking good. You're so perfect." He moans, slamming into her harder as he feels his high approaching. "Never wanna leave your tight little pussy. Feels like heaven." He sighs into her neck.
She whines at his words and his fingers on her clit speed up, “Mmmmm!” Her hips once again grind up against his, “N- no one's ever fucked me this good, baby. I'm so close- god fucking- damn I'm so close!” She exclaims, pulling his head down to kiss him, trying to suppress her moans.
“You're such a good fucking girl.” He pants against her lips before licking into her mouth.
She clenches around him again and he groans, “You like hearing that? That you're a good girl?” He hums, nudging his nose against hers and she quickly nods, “That's exactly what you are, baby. A good.” He slams his cock into her, “Fucking.” He slams into her again, “Girl.” He kisses her as he nears the edge, his fingers tirelessly rubbing her clit as her moans reach a volume that will definitely get him a complaint, but he couldn't care less. “Cum for me, my pretty girl.”
Her whole body shakes as she cums around him, her moans music to his ears as he thrusts through her orgasm. He kisses along her neck, and when she comes down he pulls his dick out which earns a whine from her.
He strokes himself several more times and groans loudly as his cum spurts all over her pussy and lower stomach, “Fuck you look so pretty like this.” He sighs, leaning down and kissing her again.
“With your cum on me?” She laughs, tracing her finger along his face.
He nods, shrugging, “Mmm yeah.” He chuckles, turning over and laying down next to her. His eyes lock on the side of her face, trying to memorize every detail.
She blushes and feels herself gushing again at his words, “Hmmm, who would've thought the cute guy across from me would be the best sex of my life?”
“So far. We've gotta beat this session, and then the next one… and the next one, and then the next-”
“Okay okay, I got it.” She laughs, leaning up on her elbows to see the mess he made on her. “Fuck Timothée, you came a lot.”
“Only for you.” He sighs, watching as she drags a finger through the cum on her tummy and then places it on her tongue, making eye contact with him as she licks it off. His eyes don't blink as she hums around her finger, “Holy fuck.” He moans, wrapping an arm around her and pulling her on top of him, she giggles and places kisses all over his face.
They lay there silently for a while, resting their eyes and listening to the sound of the others breathing.
He finally speaks up, “Y’know, I was just thinking… I have to leave at the end of the month, I gotta film a new movie. I'll be gone for a couple months.”
She frowns and looks up at him, “Oh yeah?”
He nods and tangles his fingers in her hair, “Yeah. How'd you like to come with me?” He nervously asks, his heart racing as he awaits an answer.
She quirks an eyebrow, “Really?” he nods instead of saying something, “I would love to Timmy, but- what about my job? What do I do when you're on set? I don't know the first thing about your-”
He sits up and holds her face in his hands, locking his eyes on hers, “You can work from there! And- and if there's something important that you gotta come back here for, you can always fly out. And you can join me on set! You'll make friends so easily, watch. You can hang in my trailer whenever you want, or go explore the city! Though, I'd want to do that with you, too.” He chuckles, rubbing her cheekbone, she giggles and anxiously looks down.
“Ohhh I dunno, Timmy. Don't you have paparazzi? I-”
“Oh, fuck them! We'll lay low if you want, but I don't care either way. I just got you… I don't want to be without you for three whole months.” He says, resting his forehead against hers.
She kisses him and shrugs, “Okay. I'm down!”
His eyes widen at her words and he grins, “Yeah?!” He exclaims, she nods and he pulls her into an all encompassing hug, kissing all over her head and neck, “Fuck yeah! This is going to be so fun, baby. You'll see.” He grins, she laughs and kisses his cheek.
“You know what's not fun, though?” She says, suddenly serious.
“What?”
“The fact that my boyfriend promised he'd cook for me, but here I am, famished, starving, hungry as fuck.” She teases, pretending to faint back onto his bed.
Boyfriend.
Hell yeah.
He laughs and his eyes scan over her naked body. Her smooth skin, her breasts sitting so perfectly on her chest, his cum still on her pussy and tummy.
He reaches forward and runs his hand over her waist, “Let's save that for tomorrow, yeah? I make a good ass omelet, you'll see. I'll order something for us tonight.”
She opens her eyes and smiles, “Nah I think I'll just go home.” She teases.
“No way, I'm not letting you walk home alone this late.” He jokes, she giggles and sits back up, wrapping her arms around his neck.
“Ahhh.” She sighs as she rests her head on his chest, “Soooo what movie are you filming next month?”
“It's a Willy Wonka prequel.” He says, his fingers tracing her sides.
Her head jumps up, “No way!” She grins, “That's so cool.”
He nods and kisses her head, “It is pretty cool, huh?”
“I gotta catch up on your stuff, babe.”
He laughs and sighs. He finally has the girl of his dreams.

More than words
Pairing: Lee Know x fem!reader
Summary: your best friends are getting married and you're their maid of honor. They just forgot to mention that the best man and your partner in the wedding is the guy who broke you heart.
Word count: 6,394
Warnings: mentions of alcohol, drunk people, just fluffy and a tiny bit if angst, also there's a screenshot/fake text close to the end.
>> Masterlist <<
A/N: so, this was supposed to be a bday post for Lee Know but I couldn't finish it on time :( turns out I can't write under pressure and I still don't think this is good enough but I don't think I can do better this time lmao I'm sure he can feel my love even if it's a bit late(I wish) so happy late bday for my bias the most sassy and sexy man on earth!!!!

You look at the invitation in your hands and sigh. You were really looking forward to your best friend's wedding. You were overjoyed when she told you Jeonghan had finally proposed and that she had chosen you as her maid of honor. You were excited to go out shopping to choose her wedding dress and enjoyed helping plan all the little details.
The thing is, Seojin forgot to let you know that the best man is going to be her best friend, your long-term crush and the guy who rejected you. Lee Minho, your wildest dream and worst nightmare embodied.
You, Seojin, Jeonghan and Minho had met in college and you fell in love at first sight. Yeah, kinda cheesy, right? You always had been a logical person so love at first sight sounded like bullshit to you, until it actually happened.
It was the strongest, most nerve wracking emotion you ever felt in your life. The way every move he made, every word he said, every smile he gave you, just made your entire world turn upside down.
You never really put a lot of effort into hiding that you liked him, seizing every opportunity to hit on him but he never really gave you the time of day, brushing it off as a joke.
A year ago, you decided to confess to him. You told him about your feelings for but it was no surprise when he turned you down.
You already guessed he didn't feel the same way as you did, you just thought it best to regret what you have done rather than what you haven't. And you did regret doing it in the end. Your heart was broken and you felt empty, you haven't spoken to him since that day. So to know you'll have to spend a whole weekend in his presence is not something you're looking forward to.
>>>
You came to the airport right after you clocked out of work. It's not a long trip, so you try to make yourself comfortable while you're in the plane.
As the maid of honor, you have to help the guests during the weekend, this is your job so Seojin can relax before her wedding.
So when you feel someone sitting by your side, you put your best smile on, ready to introduce yourself.
Your smile disappears when you see Minho there, he has his usual smug smile on his lips and an eyebrow raised, staring at you and waiting for you to continue.
"Oh, it's you", you say, feeling your cheeks warm, turning around to look out of the window.
"I expected a more heartwarming greeting", he jokes, "we are partners for the weekend after all"
'Don't even get me started on that', you think, sighing.
You should be nice to him, at least while you're on wedding duties, he didn't do anything wrong after all. But you're embarrassed, the last time you talked to each other was when he rejected you.
"How have you been?" He asks when you don't say anything.
"Fine", you give him a forced smile, "and you?"
"As usual", he answers, shifting in his seat, uncomfortable.
"Dating someone?" You ask and his head snaps at you, he didn't think you'd want to know something like that. You sure are having the same reaction, cursing yourself with every name you know, you really can't help yourself, you're an idiot.
"Not really", he clears his throat, he thought you'd have forgotten all about him after so much time but he feels strange knowing you still want to know about that, "you?"
You shake your head, no. You're not dating anyone since you didn't get over him yet. It's pathetic really, a whole year went by and you're still hung up on him.
You don't talk much for the rest of the trip, you just make small talk about his plans with Jeonghan for the weekend. Minho missed you, more than he could have expected, so it's nice having time with you again.
You have always known Jeonghan is rich, but to book a room for every one of their guests at a five star hotel it's a whole other level of wealthy. You're already dreaming about the long bath you're going to take on the hydromassage in your room, after that you're going to lay in the comfortable hotel bed and relax for the rest of the night, maybe check again your plans for tomorrow.
"Mr. Lee", the receptionist says to Minho, giving him the keycard. She looks at you, waiting for you to get closer to the counter, "What can I do for you, Miss…?"
"Oh, it's Y/N L/N", you say, stepping closer. The woman taps something and frowns.
"You're in room 143", she says and you smile politely, waiting for your keycard, "together with Mr. Lee", she points to Minho, who's looking at his keycard and showing it to you.
You take a deep breath.
"There must be a mistake, we are not together, we have to be in different rooms"
"I'm sorry, there must have been a mistake in the booking", she smiles apologetically, "we can give you a full refund"
"There's no need, I can just stay in another room"
The woman presses her lips in a thin line, looking at the other receptionist by her side.
"I'm sorry, but we are fully booked"
You take a moment to understand what she's saying. So there's no room for you? That's great.
"I'll just go to another hotel", you sigh, stepping away.
"I'm afraid it will be hard for you to find another hotel miss, it's the weekend and there are a lot of weddings happening at this time of the year"
"What am I supposed to do, then?", you ask, trying not to freak out.
You can't stay with Seojin since she's the bride and the other bridesmaids magically found a partner to bring to the ceremony so there's nowhere for you to sleep.
"Just stay with me", Minho sighs, running his hands through his hair. "It's your room too anyway"
You stare at him for a whole minute, trying to think of a way to get out of this, but you can't. You have to stay close to Seojin for the wedding plans and you really want to stay in this hotel.
"Do you have a better idea?" He asks, seeing the frown in your face.
You sigh, shaking your head, there's nothing much you can do. You follow Minho to the elevator, pressing the bottom and waiting for the doors to open. A crowd starts to form around you, pushing you together into the confined space. Minho is crushed against the wall and you're being pressed against him, as if things aren't already bad.
"We should have waited to catch the next one", you whisper and he sighs.
"Is not like we had a choice"
You want to fight him, you want to blame him for all this situation. If he didn't reject you, you would be together now and you wouldn't mind being pressed against him. You wouldn't mind the warmth growing in your lower stomach just by the touch of his skin on yours.
The moment people get out on the second floor, you step away from him, trying to hide your red face. You walk together in the corridor, your mind is so full you forget the situation you are in, but when you enter the room you see the bed. There's only one bed. You completely forgot this is a room for a couple, as if it's not enough that you have to sleep in the same room with Minho, you'll have to share the same bed too? If there's a god, he must be laughing at your face right now.
"Do you want to shower first?" Minho's voice takes you out of your thoughts and you turn around to look at him.
"Yeah, thanks"
You grab your bag and go into the bathroom. It's okay, you don't have to freak out, you are in a five star hotel, in a really nice suite, you can manage to survive the weekend.
When you packed your things, you were planning on sleeping alone so you are lucky you actually brought pajamas even though you always sleep in your underwear. This pajama is not the most decent one but it's what you have at the moment.
The hot bath does wonders to relieve your stress, you use the expensive shampoo and hair conditioner and massages your body with some nice body lotion, ready to have a good night of sleep.
Minho's seated by the bed when you get out of the bathroom, his clothes are folded by his side and he's scrolling on his phone. He lifts his eyes towards you, freezing instantly. What the hell are you wearing? He feels the warmth going up his neck, cheeks and his ears.
"A-are you done?" He stutters for the first time since you've known him.
"Yeah, the hair conditioner is really nice, look how soft my hair is now", you step closer to him, tilting your head so he can touch your hair.
"I'll try it myself", he walks past you. You must have taken a lot of time in there for him to be in such a hurry.
When Minho gets out of the bathroom you're already sleeping, you're laying down on your stomach with your round ass bursting out of your shorts or whatever is that thing you're wearing, he's sure he'll go crazy in the next two days if you keep this up.
>>>
When you go into the restaurant and see Seojin, you want to commit a murder. You know that face she's making, it's the face she has when she did something mischievous and is trying to hide it.
"So it was YOU", you slap her arm, sitting in front of her at the table. The other girls didn't seem to have arrived yet.
"I don't know what you're talking about", she smiles looking at you with doe eyes.
"You know exactly what I'm talking about, really, you put us in the same room?"
She sighs in defeat. Seojin knows better than to keep pretending, you know her too well to believe in any excuse she'll come up with.
"I just want my two best friends to make up", she smiles, "it's my wedding after all"
"I get that, but you could have thought about a better way", you sigh, calling for the waiter and asking for a bottle of wine. "I won't ruin your weekend", you smile, grabbing her hand to squeeze it, "but you're done for when we go back"
She shivers, you're really scary when you get mad. But it's worth the risk, she knows you're not over Minho and she wants to help you get together.
"Leave the whole bottle", you ask the waiter that just came back to your table bringing the wine and two glasses, "and keep bringing more when you see I'm out of it", you ignore his look of pity.
You're going to have lunch with Seojin and the bridesmaids, then you're going to pick your dress up and bring it to the hotel for you to wear tomorrow.
Soon enough the bridesmaids arrive, there are only three, Seojin's cousins and Jeonghan's sister. They won't shut up about their partners, that aren't even official or anything. You can't believe they brought just about anyone to your best friend's wedding and you absolutely are not being petty because you were forced to stay in the same room as Minho because they all had partners.
After setting the date for your meeting later in the night, you go to pick up your dress. You had to make some last minute changes and were lucky they were available to assist you immediately.
The first thing you do when you get to your room is to try on the dress, making sure it's perfect for the next day. You struggle a bit to put it on, since it has a zipper in the back, but you manage it.
You stare at your reflection in the mirror, you look nice. The green really enhances the color of your eyes and it's going to look perfect with your makeup and hair done.
You feel a sudden tug in your hair, a few strands got stuck in the zipper somehow. Perfect. You pull it a couple of times but with no success until you pull it so hard the zipper actually breaks.
"Oh no no", you whine looking at the big problem you have in your hands.
The door opens behind you and Minho enters, staring at you for a moment, you look beautiful. He would have admired you for a whole hour if it wasn't for the desperate look in your face, that's when he sees that your dress is open in the back with some of your hair stuck in the zipper.
"Are you alright?" He asks, you look at him trying to calm yourself down. What are you going to do? The wedding is tomorrow.
"I messed up", you tell him, tears brimming in your eyes, "I ruined my dress, how am I supposed to go to the ceremony?"
There's no way you can get it fixed, there's a lot of weddings happening this weekend and it's Saturday afternoon, there's not going to be a tailor available.
Minho can see the gears turning in your head, you're overthinking. He gets closer to you, grabbing you by the shoulders, making you look at him.
"Hey!" He says, loudly enough to catch your attention, "calm down! We can find a way to fix it!"
He's looking deeply into your eyes, telling you to take deep breaths and you do just that, calming down a bit in a few minutes.
>>>
Minho had his fair share of broken hearts, sometimes he was the one crying over the end of a relationship and sometimes someone else was in that position. He liked you more than as a friend, he knew that since the beginning of your friendship but he never opened up enough to form another type of relationship with you. So when you confessed to him, he felt so many things at the same time.
He was happy that you felt the same way as him, mad he didn't know about it sooner but mostly, he felt scared, your friendship was so important to him that he didn't want to ruin it by dating you. What if you two broke up later? How could you still be friends?
That fear made him turn you down, he regretted it the moment you walked out of the cafe you were meeting up and in a certain way, he did ruin your friendship, since you didn't speak to him after that day and he couldn't bring himself to contact you too.
He knew Seojin was the one who pulled this stunt of putting you together in the same room, she always loved to play cupid. He just didn't expect he would like the situation so much, he missed you a lot, more than you could ever imagine.
Seojin was waiting for him at the lobby, she wanted to go for a walk and talk, to settle some little things about his role in the wedding.
"Finally, you're here!" She smiles, squeezing him in a hug and he does the same.
"Did you wait long?" He asks.
"Nope, I just had lunch with Y/N", she answers, eyeing Minho and waiting for his reaction to the mention of your name, he chuckles.
"So, did you have to put us in the same room?" He asks, raising an eyebrow and crossing his arms. Seojin smiles, giving him puppy eyes.
"If I didn't you wouldn't speak to each other, I'm sure of it", she huffs.
"I would try talking to her, you know that"
"Yeah, but she'd probably run every time, that's why I had to go to this extent", Seojin starts walking and Minho follows her.
"I guess you're right", he says, tucking his hands in his pockets.
"Didn't you regret turning her down? I know you like her too"
"It doesn't matter if I regret it or not, she hates my guts now"
They walk for about five minutes before Seojin takes a deep breath and starts talking again.
"I know I shouldn't meddle into this but you're both my best friends so I feel like I have the right to intervene when you're just being dumb", Minho glares at her, "I'm sure she still likes you, Min"
Do you, though? You can't even look him in the eyes. You don't want to talk to him. He wants to believe in what Seojin is saying but he's afraid he lost his chance with you.
When he sees you almost bawling your eyes out because of the dress, he knows he has to do something, anything for you.
"So, I called someone I know that lives here in the island with her family and her grandma is a former tailor, she wants to check the dress and see what can be done", Minho says, looking at you sitted by the bed, your hands gripping the ruined dress.
You get up in a jump, wrapping your arms around his neck and squeezing him.
"Thank you so much, Min, I don't even know how to repay you", you realize too late how close you two are from each other. Stepping aside, you give him a sheepish smile, mumbling a "sorry"
He clears his throat, turning around and walking to the door, trying to hide the blush in his face.
>>>
Seojin held the position of the most beautiful woman you've ever seen… until now. You're seeing Minho's friend but she doesn't look real, she's so gorgeous that for a moment it looks like she's walking in slow motion.
What takes you out of your haze is the awkward interaction between them. Minho said she is someone he knows but are acquaintances close enough to ask for favors? And the way they are interacting tells you they're not friends either.
She's smiling at Minho and he's just there, nodding, there's not a single glance of affection in his behavior. He's not like this, sometimes he may seem cold and a bit mean, but he's the sweetest with the ones he likes, you know that because you used to be one of them.
"So, I'm Mina", she looks at you with a big smile and you greet her, telling your name. "Is this the dress?" She asks, looking at your garment bag.
"Yes, thank you so much for accepting to help", you say and she chuckles.
"Anything for Minho", she looks at him with a smile and you feel your chest ache even though he keeps a straight face.
She leads you into the house, it's a beautiful traditional construction. Her grandma is waiting in the living room and she asks Mina to make some tea while she looks at the dress.
"Can you help me bring the things?" She asks Minho and he nods.
The old lady is very nice, she tells you about her years of experience as a tailor and how she had to fix absolute disasters in her days, so your case will be easy peasy, she just has to replace the zipper with a new one.
"Give me half an hour", she reassures you with a smile and then looks around, "can you go see why my granddaughter is taking so long?" She asks and you nod, getting up and following a path you think leads to the kitchen.
"Does she know about us?" You hear Mina's voice and stop in your tracks, you shouldn't eavesdrop, right? Then why can't you move? Your heart starts beating so loudly you're not sure you'll be able to hear his answer.
"Let's not talk about that while she's here", Minho asks, sighing. "I'll meet you when you come to Seoul and we can talk"
You can't breathe. So they are not just friends, you feel dumb. Of course Minho would like a supermodel like her, even though you are beautiful you can't really compete with that.
You go back to the living room. You can't look at their faces after what you heard, is it immature? Yes, but it's not a secret that you're not over Minho and listening to him, thinking about him meeting with another woman just makes your heart break again, even though you thought the pain you were feeling would end after he rejected you last year.
"Are you alright?" He asks when he sits by your side, smiling slightly at you and you nod awkwardly.
Would you have gotten over him already if he just had said you are not his type? He just said he couldn't be more than friends with you, was he trying to be nice?
The old lady refuses to get paid for fixing your dress, she says it was so easy it shouldn't even count as a service, in return she asks you to come by again when you're in Jeju because she liked you. You thank her again, saying your goodbyes and walking to the car while she asks Minho for something only a man can do, since her son is not home yet.
You put the dress in the backseat of the car, finally breathing relieved.
"So you're the one I should thank", you're startled by Mina's voice behind you.
"Oh, for what?" You ask, turning around with a hand on your chest.
"For bringing Minho here", she smiles sadly and you frown. "I guess he didn't tell you", she says.
"I know that you're a thing or something like that", you say, is she trying to rub it in your face? Is she feeling threatened?
"Oh", she laughs, "no, we are not a thing"
"I don't understand, then", you say, trying to not smile, feeling a weight being lifted out of your chest.
"We dated a few years ago, but I did something terrible to him, I know he hated me after that", she sighs, "I've been trying to meet him for so long to apologize but he never gave me the time of day, so imagine my surprise when he willingly called me to ask for a favor", she smiles, "I guess you must mean a lot to him"
You feel your heart sink, did he really do that for you? You don't know what she did, but you know Minho doesn't forgive someone easily and he surely doesn't like to owe a favor to someone that did something bad to him.
"Anyways", she says awkwardly after you stare at her without saying a thing, "thank you, I hope you make him happy", she smiles, nodding to you and heading back.
Make him happy? Does she think you two are together? Did she notice you were jealous?
So many questions and no answer at all. You snap out of your thoughts when the gate to the house is closed with a loud noise. Minho walks to you, opening the door.
"Are you not getting in?"
You don't speak much on your trip back to the hotel, your head is just so full of thoughts you don't think you'll be able to form a sentence if you try to speak. Besides that, it's almost time for your outing with Seojin and the other bridesmaids, Minho's also in a hurry so you guess he has something planned with Jeonghan and the groomsman as well, so you both run to your room to get ready.
You're the first to shower since you'll take longer to dress up. You don't take too long, letting Minho go in while you do your hair and makeup in the wall mirror in the bedside.
You put on a tight navy blue dress, it's long enough to cover your ass but not enough to make it proper.
Minho comes out of the bathroom already dressed, he's wearing a white button down that looks heavenly as if it was made just for him and jeans that just embrace his toned thighs.
"You can take a picture if you want", the smirk on his lips makes you scoff, taking you out of your state of haze.
"Well, it's no secret that you're handsome", you point out, "I did fall in love with you after all"
Minho stops in his tracks, he did not expect you to bring that up. Do people that still have feelings for the other joke about it? He wants to believe he still has a chance, but the way you act, so nonchalantly, makes him insecure.
"You're pretty too", he says, ignoring your remark.
"Not as much as Mina", your voice sounds more bitter than you meant it to be, "she's really gorgeous"
You turn around, picking up your purse, you don't want him to see your face full of contempt and jealousy. You walk out of the room, not waiting for his answer, cursing yourself till you get to the lobby to find your friends.
There's nothing like a girl's night out to take all your worry away. You drink, flirt with strangers, play games, take a tour around Jeju eating delicious foods, go to karaoke and walk by the beach.
Around midnight the bridesmaids take a taxi back to the hotel but you and Seojin want to drink more and have more fun since it's her last day as an unmarried woman.
The fresh air of the beach sobers you up, you're still a bit dizzy, but not as wasted as before. Your friend is worse than you, she's stumbling and laughing at nothing.
"I love you so much", she says, grabbing your face and cupping your cheeks, "you know that, right?"
You chuckle, putting your hands over hers.
"Of course I know, and I love you too", she smiles, stumbling and falling down on the floor.
"My butt", she whines, caressing her sides.
It seems like she's too wasted now, it's time to go back. You call Jeonghan, asking him if he can come pick you two up by the beach and as the gentleman he is, he didn't drink because he knew his fiancee would get too drunk to even walk and need someone to pick her up. You laugh at his answer and wait for him, it's good to know Seojin will have someone to take care of her like that.
You all were friends in college and you love Jeonghan, but you were always closest to Seojin. She came up to you and asked to be your friend on the first day of school when you were all alone since you didn't know anyone in the city, much less in that university.
You stare at the waves in the ocean, it's really calming to feel the breeze and the sound of the sea.
"My love", Seojin screams, looking behind you. She gets up and runs before you can help her. You turn around to find Jeonghan and Minho coming in your direction. Seojin jumps into her fiance's arms, giggling and kissing his face.
"Are you alright?" Jeonghan asks her and she nods frantically, mumbling 'better now' while resting her head on his shoulder. He looks at you with a brow lifted, questioning and you chuckle, nodding.
"What about you?" Minho asks and you roll your eyes, walking in a straight line to prove you're fine but your body betrays you and you trip on your own feet. You don't fall since Minho wraps his arms around your waist holding you. Why do his hands feel so good on you, when he's holding you? Why must you still feel this way after being rejected? Don't you have any pride left? Those ungodly reflexes he has are annoying sometimes, you'd rather he'd let you fall face first on the sand.
"Are you sure?" He asks, a judging look in his face.
"Yes, I'm sure", you say, stepping away from him.
Maybe you're still a little bit tipsier than you thought.
He glances at Jeonghan and he shrugs, they take you and Seojin to the car, securing you two on your seatbelts. The trip back is noisy, unfortunately Seojin is not a sleepy drunk, she gets even more energetic in her intoxicated state. So she tells Jeonghan and Minho about everything you did during your outing, every detail, even that three guys tried to take you home after you drunk flirted with them.
You give your goodbyes in the lobby, since they are staying in another wing of the hotel. You and Minho go to the elevator and you notice he's drunk too, he tries to hide it, but he keeps stumbling and has to lean on the elevator's wall to keep standing.
"I think you're much prettier than Mina", he blurts out of nowhere and your head snaps at him, a frown in your face. "You didn't let me finish earlier, I was going to say that you're the prettiest girl in the world for me"
The doors to the elevator open and he walks away, like what he just said didn't leave you completely lost. You feel your heart beat faster, following him to your room and leaning on the door after you close it, staring at him while he walks around the room.
Your mind is full of thoughts, why is he always so nice to you? You suddenly have the preposterous urge to tell him again you're in love with him, it must be the alcohol, but maybe you need him to tell you he doesn't like you in that way, maybe if you're humiliated one more time you'll be able to let him go.
"You shouldn't be nice to me", he looks at you, brows furrowed in confusion, "if you do I'll cross the line you drew last year", you stumble a bit, trying to get to him and he holds you. "I'll kiss you if you don't stop me", you say, noticing how close you're from each other.
Minho doesn't say anything, his head is spinning a bit and he's sure you're bluffing. He's so wrong, though. He realizes that only when your lips come crashing on his, he doesn't even have time to process what's happening before you push him away, stepping aside.
"I-I'm sorry", you say, 'of course he won't reciprocate', you think.
However, contrary to your expectations, he wraps his arms around your waist, pressing his hand on the small of your back and pulling you back to his embrace, kissing you. His lips are soft and his movements are rushed like he's been waiting to do that for a long time.
Maybe you're just dreaming while awake, it's impossible for him to be kissing you, right?
You wake up feeling your head hurting like crazy, your mouth is dry and you feel sick. Suddenly what happened comes crushing in, did you actually kiss Minho? And the most important part, did he reciprocate? You can't remember, the last thing that you recall is kissing him but everything after that is just a blur.
You look around the room, trying to find him and when you realize he's nowhere to be seen, you can only draw one conclusion. It seems you've been rejected once more.
It's okay, now you feel like you can get over this crush, you two didn't have a future anyway. You want to cry, you really do, but you can't show up to your friend's wedding with puff eyes and you don't want to stay in this room for long, you don't want to meet him again until the wedding. So you grab your dress and the things you'll need and take it to the bridal suite.
Minho is happy, you still like him after all. After you two kissed you fell asleep, he tucked you in bed and watched you. You were always a sleepy drunk, when he's more like Seojin. He feels energetic until the exhaustion hits him.
He wakes up early, to grab some coffee and hangover medicine for you two, but when he comes back waiting to find you awake, you're nowhere, your things are not there either. Did you regret kissing him? Maybe you just wanted to feel something familiar with him. No, he's not going to let these intrusive thoughts make him assume things, he needs to talk to you.
And he would, if you answered his calls or his texts. He freaks out even more when his phone buzzes with a bunch of texts.
>>>
You're trying to distract yourself, telling stories about your college times with Seojin to the other bridesmaids and helping the bride relax before her big moment. You don't want to tell her about the whole thing with Minho, you don't want to turn her big day into a drama about yourself.
She keeps frowning while looking at the phone, the ceremony is going to start in less than thirty minutes so it's understandable that she's nervous.
She looks at you with desperate eyes.
"The wedding planner just texted me saying there is something wrong with the menu, can you check it for me?"
"Of course, I'll be back as soon as possible", you smile reassuring her. It's weird though, you went through all the details with the staff before meeting with Seojin.
You walk to the kitchen, looking for the wedding planner and finally finds her talking to the waiters.
"Hey, what's wrong with the menu?" You ask the older woman and she looks at you, confused.
"What do you mean?" She asks, "there's nothing wrong"
You frown, looking around. Seojin clearly told you the wedding planner was the one to report the issue, so it's impossible for her to not know about it.
"Hm, Seojin told me there was a problem?!"
"She must be confused, honey, brides get really stressed, maybe she read some of my texts wrong", she tries to reassure you and you nod, not really buying it. Seojin is a perfectionist, she wouldn't make this kind of mistake. But if the wedding planner is telling you there's nothing wrong then there's nothing you can do about it.
You walk back to the bridal suite, twenty minutes till the ceremony. When you open the door there's no one else there, where did they go? You look around trying to find someone but they're not even in the dressroom. The door opens behind you and you turn around ready to ask where's everyone, when you see Minho closing the door.
He stares at you for a few seconds, waiting for your reaction.
"Did you regret kissing me?" He asks, taking a few steps towards you.
"What are you talking about?" You say, trying to sound nonchalantly even though you want to cry just by looking at his face.
"You kissed me, you should take responsibility", he gets closer.
You feel your throat dry, taking a step back.
"You're the one who left me by myself", you mumble.
"I just went out to buy meds for us, why did you assume things?"
"Of course I'd assume things, you rejected me once, why wouldn't you do it again?" You point out, feeling angry and your answer feels like daggers being shot at him.
He takes a deep breath, grabbing both your hands and holding it close to his chest.
"There's not a day I don't regret turning you down that time", he sighs, "the truth is that I liked you since the first time I saw you but I couldn't ruin our friendship and I was so scared that I wouldn't be enough for you, like I wasn't enough for her"
You know about who he's talking about and want to kick him for even thinking you're anything like Mina, but most you want to punch her in the face, she broke his heart and left him in crumbles.
"I would never do anything to hurt you", you whisper, he's so close to you know, you can feel his breathing hitting your face.
"I know, I was scared that time and I'm still scared", he lifts your hand to his lips, "but if you give me one more chance I promise I'll be better, no one's gonna love you more than me and I'll always be there for you"
You waited for this for so long you're not even sure if it's happening.
"Can you pinch me?" You ask and he smirks.
"I can bite", he slides his hands to your waist, getting closer and giving a peek to your lips, biting your lower lip, making you shiver.
"Now I know it's real", you say, staring into his dark eyes.
"Should I take this as a yes?" He asks and you nod.
"I have been yours ever since I met you, there's not another answer but yes when it comes to you"
He smiles, the brightest smile you ever seen on him, then he kisses you, and he wants you to remember this one for the rest of your life.
Walking down the aisle with the other bridesmaids and groomsmen, arms linked with Minho's while exchanging knowing smiles, you can't help but imagine if one day it's going to be you two there. Minho on the other side is already planning how he's going to propose, because he's absolutely sure next time it's going to be you in a wedding dress and him waiting patiently for your hand.

pairing: modern!aemond × fem!reader (fake dating)

word count: 8.4k
previous part • next part • series masterlist

hello!
even i'm surprised that i updated and it didn't take me two or almost three weeks, but here it is!
i'm so happy for the recognition the story is getting, truly, thank you so much beautiful people, i hope you like this chapter a lot too. i'm looking forward to your comments!

After what happened… there was a total change of behavior between you and Aemond.
Even that same day after he didn't drop you off at your house because you told him that Alysanne would be the one to drive you, that night he texted you that there was a party at one of his friend's house.
You didn't reply right away, you just watched the message appear on the top of your screen silently and did nothing.
And after a few minutes he texted you again telling you that if you didn't want to go with him, he was fine with it. And you just texted him back a short; have fun!
But still, you couldn't help but feel completely different, with this strange feeling and a knot in your stomach at having this distance with him.
But he didn't text you again for anything else.
Even also on that same day you saw Helaena, who told you again how sorry she and her mother were still. You also saw Aegon, but he just kept walking, acting completely unconcerned and as if the dinner had never happened.
And now, with things weird and distant with Aemond, today is the trip to Dragonstone.
You assume that you and Aemond will continue to pretend, since there was never a definitive statement where both he and you said you would no longer pretend. But since that night he told you about the party, he and you haven't spoken again.
There's really no plan for the trip. You don't even know if he and you will do this together, as a couple. You just don't know anything.
But you recognize that the two of you made a contract that includes the Dragonstone trip and also ending the fake relationship until graduation. So you prepare yourself despite the circumstances.
Besides you won't be alone, as Alysanne has also signed up for the trip, who just now is keeping you updated on all the things going on in her life as you both drag your respective suitcases along.
"But I don't know if I should say yes to him yet."
You let out a sigh, already feeling tired as you feel the weight of everything in your suitcase. But you can't really blame yourself because it's an all-weekend trip to the beach, so you should have brought everything you needed.
"To who?" you ask with the breath you're gathering, as you tighten your grip on your suitcase.
"Didn't you hear everything I said?" she inquires, "To Cregan."
"Ah… and why don't you know?"
"Well, you know…" she gives you a knowing look, "I don't know, he seems too perfect to me and there must be something wrong with him," she raises her index finger at you, "And he's too popular for my liking."
You frown, still walking as she does, heading toward the buses in the school parking lot that will take you all to Kings Landing port.
"Wait," you say confused, "So he already asked you out?" you look at her slightly surprised, struggling to keep up.
"Yeah," she says casually, "But I don't know."
"Oh come on," you look at her serious, "He's very nice, handsome, funny and a gentleman."
But she grimaces, showing her skepticism.
"Not exactly my type."
You roll your eyes, amused.
Then you both stop behind a line of people waiting to board one of the buses while one of the teachers notes on a list the students' attendance by asking for first and last name, so you have to wait.
"I think you should go out with him," you say, turning to look at her.
"Uhh…" she stares into the void, thoughtfully and doubtfully, "I don't know, bestie."
"He's a good match," you try to convince her, encouraged, "Besides he's already completely crazy about you."
"That's the problem," she sentences, "I'm not looking for a serious relationship right now. It seems better to me that we both just go out, have fun together and nothing else, no strings attached."
"He probably won't refuse the idea," you shrug, "But tell him and don't leave him waiting with his hopes high."
She snorts, gesturing with her hand.
"He's a man. I'm sure he can handle me never giving him an answer."
You let out a laugh.
"Don't be mean, Alysanne."
"What?" she looks at you innocently.
"Come on, you can do better than that."
"No, I don't think so."
You both let out a laugh now and are about to say something else to him, when a third voice interrupts you in conversation.
"Y/N?"
The two turn their heads and walking towards you, it's Aemond, with a somewhat unsure and nervous posture, which is totally unusual for him, but he's still watching you completely attentively.
He's wearing a white t-shirt and a black jacket over it, which makes him look ridiculously good for a common outfit. But what also catches your attention is how he has a silver chain sticking out from around his neck.
And God… why are you suddenly so nervous about being in front of him?
"Do you have a minute?"
You look uncertainly at him and then at Alysanne, having no idea what to say, further increasing your nerves.
"Hum—
"Go," Alysanne says to you, "I'll wait in line for both of us."
"Oh… all right."
You reply, smiling a little in her direction, only to walk over to Aemond and both of you step back a little so you can talk more privately.
And it's at that moment that your heart starts beating like crazy and you bite your lips, crossing your arms over your chest, nervous and a little… embarrassed.
"Listen," he starts to say, in a low and soft voice, "I just want to say that I'm really sorry for the way I reacted the other day," he tells you sincerely, "I'm sure I made you feel uncomfortable and to some extent trapped but believe me that was never my intention. Nor was it my intention for things to get weird between us."
"Yeah, yeah, I understand, don't worry," you nod, trying to hide your nerves and trying to look unconcerned, you too wanting to put this behind you, "I'm sorry too for trying to end it all that way."
"No, it's not okay," he assures you, "I just didn't understand anything and got frustrated," he admits to you gently, "And that wasn't right of me. Now I know how overwhelmed you must have felt with everything that happened."
"I-I guess I got scared and that was the easiest way I could think of to end it all when that wasn't right on my part either. After all… we have a contract—
"The contract thing doesn't matter," he interrupts you with a nonchalant gesture, placing a comforting hand on your shoulder, "The important thing is that we're both okay and that we don't distance ourselves from each other."
You nod in agreement, feeling a sense of relief at hearing his words.
"Yeah, you're right."
"So… everything good?" he asks you completely attentively.
"Yes, all good," you assure, wanting to put any misunderstandings behind you.
He is about to say something when one of his friends calls out to him from the line to board the bus.
"Aemond!"
You both turn your heads and his friend along with the teacher in charge watch him intently from the bus doors.
"I need to see your signed permission form, son," the teacher tells him.
He nods and goes back to watching you.
"I'll see you inside," he says before walking away towards his friend and you nod.
You walk back with Alysanne to the line and watch Aemond just a few feet in front of you, talking to the professor, and then he and his friend carry their bags up to the bottom compartments of the bus, eventually moving up the line.
And God… this is the sense of relief you so desperately needed to finally feel. Knowing that you're going to do this with Aemond, all about Dragonstone, relieves and excites you.
However, you should have assumed that even then things would get weird, because the feeling doesn't last long when you see Floris approach Aemond and the two of them start talking.
At first you don't think anything of it, but then, you see the way Floris approaches and behaves towards him.
A tingle of jealousy begins to bubble deep in your stomach as you watch the two of them talk. You also watch as some students watch the two of them and then you, standing apart, with curious and mischievous looks, surely waiting for the drama.
It's as if everyone knows what Aemond and Floris once were, only to then watch you, the new girlfriend, fade into the background after Floris has returned to school.
And Aemond's behavior towards you comes back to your mind.
He himself told you that he did not expect to see her again, so on another plane and in other circumstances, if Floris had not left the school, you are absolutely sure that Aemond would have required her help, totally.
And this between him and you would never have happened.
And maybe… Aemond is still interested in Floris, just as she seems to be still interested in him. But he can't do anything about it because he already has an agreement with you, he's stuck with you.
This relationship is fake, remember?
Your mind tells you, since for Aemond it's not real, but rather pure convenience, just an act, but for you… it's getting harder and harder to ignore the feelings that arise inside you.
Is it possible that your feelings are more real than you have allowed yourself to believe?
You watch as Aemond seems to want to subtly pull away from her to have his own space, but Floris moves closer again, as if they both share something that only the two of them know and that's why she has the confidence, even though he has a girlfriend, to act that way with him.
Which only makes you more annoyed and jealous.
But finally the line starts to move forward and you decide you won't give it any more thought. What's the point of worrying about something that, in theory, isn't real?
You board the bus behind Alysanne, where everything inside is full of excitement and energy, with students talking and laughing as they settle into their seats.
Then your gaze almost instantly meets Aemond's as you look at the seats, sitting in one of the first seats with the seat next to him empty, watching you intently and with a small smile on his lips, clearly waiting for you.
The temptation to go sit next to him is strong, but you decide to ignore it and keep walking behind Alysanne, passing him. And that instantly makes him react.
"Hey, hey," he quickly stands up and gently takes you by the arm, watching you with his soft gaze reflecting bewilderment, "Where are you going?"
Your nerves dissipate and you try to come up with a good excuse.
"Hum… you know, to sit with Alysanne," you point to your friend.
He follows your gaze but frowns, confused.
"But don't you think we should sit together?"
You stay silent for a few seconds, watching him intently and nervous, trying to come up with a better excuse. But he speaks again, trying to convince you.
"I packed snacks for both of us on the way and thought maybe we could watch a movie or something."
"Maybe on the way back," you say with an apologetic look, feeling the weight of his gaze on you.
And he frowns slightly, his gaze reflecting a mixture of disappointment and confusion as he tries to understand your behavior.
The two of you a few moments ago spoke, the two of you apologized to each other and you especially said that everything was okay or not? That's what keeps him confused, not understanding why the two of you are suddenly continuing this distancing, noticing your efforts to pull away from him.
"Come on," he insists, "Let Cregan sit with her."
"I'm sorry, Aemond," you say, "But I promised her I'd sit with her."
He seems to want to argue back, but you waste no more time and finally walk past him, moving away from him straight toward Alysanne in one of the seats almost at the back.
Aemond with a serious look sighs resignedly, feeling the disappointment inside, confused and with disillusion, not really understanding anything.
And when you arrive together with Alysanne, just as you take your seat, you look back to where Aemond is with a worried look and at that moment Floris appears, stopping in front of him with a small sweet smile on her lips.
"Will someone sit here?" she asks politely even though she already knows the answer, her tone with a familiarity that makes you stir in your seat.
Aemond turns his gaze back to you with a mixed expression of seriousness and disappointment before answering Floris.
"No," he replies with some annoyance, dropping back into his seat with a droopy attitude.
Floris complacently takes a seat next to him and you watch everything from afar, telling yourself that this is all a bad idea, with a swirl of emotions all over you.
So all the way to King's Landing port begins, where you distract yourself listening to music and avoid looking towards the seats where Aemond is with Floris.
At all times you feel this uncertainty and this unpleasant feeling that does not leave you in peace, even makes you feel sad, but Alysanne by your side manages to distract you in some moments.
Until you finally arrive at the port and in organized groups, the teachers make sure that all the students board the ferry that goes directly to Dragonstone.
Everyone around you starts taking pictures and videos of the wonderful view the ferry offers of Blackwater Bay, excited to get to Dragonstone.
And you start looking for Aemond with your eyes, finding him leaning on the ferry's railing with one of his friends next to him, both talking, but he has a more thoughtful expression as he gazes out at the ocean.
Despite being surrounded by people and his friends especially, he is distant. And you know he's like this because of you.
For one reason he asked to talk to you and clear up what happened between the two of you. You assured him that everything was fine and then pushed him away.
But can you really blame yourself?
You're fucking scared.
And for a reason Floris acts that way with him, because whatever there once was between the two of them, it's not over yet, you can feel it. And you have no right to reproach him for that because this is not real.
Still… it's better for you to start slowly pulling away from him and put on a show when it's really necessary. But how will you be able to do this together when things are like this?
That's why the uncomfortable feeling on the bus persists and Alysanne tries to distract you by taking pictures of the view, a selfie of the two of you together or by herself.
But despite these efforts, you can't stop thinking about Aemond and watching him from time to time.
Until the ferry finally docks at Dragonstone Island and the students begin to walk ashore with their suitcases in hand, full of excitement and high expectations for what awaits them this year on site.
And since you have never visited Dragonstone before, you watch in complete awe and amazement as the majestic and imposing modern castle stands before you almost on the water's edge.
It looks like a living museum, offering the relics of Old Valyria and its history, paying homage to the ancient house Valyria, a royal family that once ruled Westeros with the legend of having tamed dragons in their Reign.
The entire castle is made of stone, as well as its surroundings and all it has to offer.
And once inside, everything is majestically structured and spacious, with architecture of royalty, preserving that touch and the one that many decades ago a royal and powerful family lived here.
With a male guide, who is also chaperon of this 'excursion', he welcomes all the students and begins to guide them through the main corridors of the castle.
You are amazed to see the numerous display cases with ancient swords that had forged the history of the Valyrian house, as well as other possessions, be they wardrobes or jewelry of gold, silver and other precious stones.
There are also portraits of the ancient Kings and Queens who had ruled, as well as portraits of princes and princesses with the name, date of birth and date of death.
Being your first time in this place, it is obvious that you are excited compared to other students who have come here before and just want to have fun.
But you sense how the atmosphere is steeped in history and mystery. So you can't wait to learn more about this history that was in an ancient and legendary world.
"For those who don't already know, there are various activities you can do during your stay on the island," says the guide man, "You can enjoy the beach and swim in our crystal clear waters, but you can also dive with professional instructors to explore the coral reefs and marine life, as well as we also offer surfing lessons for beginners."
"I want to try surfing," Alysanne says next to you, without both of them letting up, and you watch her in surprise.
"Really?"
"I don't plan to dive, I feel like I'll go crazy with claustrophobia with so much suit and gear on me, not to mention you can't talk," she tells you with a grimace, "And swimming is so boring. I want something more exciting."
"And you can handle that?"
"Please, I can handle anything," she says with a certain superiority, making you laugh, "And what do you plan to do? Obviously not surf but then what?"
"Hum…" you think about it for a moment, "I don't know, maybe I'll visit the huge library and learn more about the history of this place and the whole Valyrian family."
Alysanne looks at you completely expectantly and showing you how much your answers have bored her.
"Are you serious?"
"We also offer a tour of our small aquarium located in the depths of the castle, where you can see a variety of fish and sea creatures," he man goes on to mention, "And lastly, we offer rides on our yachts and scooters along the coast, there are also paddle boarding lessons along our peaceful canals that meander through the island."
You look back at Alysanne beside you.
"Or maybe I'll join the paddling classes," you say with a shrug.
But that only makes Alysanne look at you like you're a hopeless case, sigh, and continue moving on, not telling you any more about your plans or she's afraid it will make you feel bad.
And you let out a little laugh, since of course you also want to enjoy the beach and also want a yacht ride.
And as all the students continue to move forward and you along with them, you still feel the tension between you and Aemond, who is moving a few meters ahead of you with his friends.
Despite the beauty and excitement of Dragonstone, still this uneasiness continues to weigh on your being.

First night at Dragonstone and you've already been left alone.
Alysanne stated that she wanted to enjoy the luxurious bathtub in the room to immerse herself in a relaxing spa experience, so that's what she's doing now before starting the rough activities tomorrow.
And meanwhile you're stealing snacks from the huge kitchen since you've prepared one night of movies for yourself, which isn't a bad plan.
So with your pajamas on, you go back to the room, thankful that you didn't have any awkward encounters with anyone. In fact you were hoping to run into him, but that hasn't happened and you have no idea where he must be.
So with your snacks in hand and in the huge hallway where your room is located, you struggle a bit to open your door with your hands full, when someone enters the same hallway where you are.
"Hey Y/N."
You turn your head and meet Cregan, causing you to place a smile on your face in his direction.
"Hey Cregan."
He watches you with a small amused smile.
"Do you need help?"
"Well, I-I…" you try one more time, but everything is about to fall out of your hands, "Yeah," you finally agree.
He helps you with your snacks and also opens the door for you, then watches you curiously.
"Are you preparing one night of snacks and probably watching movies with Alysanne?"
"No," you reply laughing softly, "No, I—
"Ah, so you're going with Aemond to the hot tub," he interrupts you in a casual tone, assuming.
Confused by that revelation, you try to process the information, but before you can even pretend and react, which you really don't and remain silent like a fool, he notices and looks at you slightly confused.
"Oh, well... on my way here saw him alone in the hot tub and thought you were going with him."
And just then it happens.
Something snaps inside you.
An overwhelming sense of need overwhelms you from head to toe, you can't help it and you can't take it anymore.
You need to talk to someone about the truth and release everything you've been accumulating these past few days. But you know that if you do that, you would be breaking a contract rule.
But the thought of still holding all this in and not being able to talk to anyone about what's really going on is unbearable.
Alysanne would freak out and you have no one else to talk to. It's not like you have a lot of friends. So thinking hard, you quickly map out a plan in your mind and decide to confide in Cregan.
"Do you have a moment?" you ask with a lump in your throat.
Cregan gets confused and looks hesitant.
"Well, I—
"Alysanne is relaxing in the tub, she won't be out of there for a while and I really need to talk to someone about this," you plead.
And that's enough for Cregan to walk into the room behind you as he sees your face like you're about to explode and you tell him everything.
And God, it's a complete relief to be able to speak freely, without the pressure of keeping up the farce.
And you start by explaining to him why you decided to fake a relationship, and then tell him these feelings that you can't ignore anymore, as well as explaining everything you're feeling about Floris and how things are between you and Aemond.
And by this point, Cregan is very comfortable sitting on your bed, eating from your snacks while you wander around your room talking freely about everything that comes to your mind and he listens attentively.
"I'm completely crazy, aren't I?"
You watch him completely frustrated and looking for support, as the ideas and thoughts keep coming uncontrollably into your mind.
"I mean, this is fake," you clarify, waving your hands as you speak, "This wasn't supposed to happen, he just asked me for help and I asked for something in return to accept. And he clearly doesn't feel the same way I do."
You look at him in exasperation, worried.
"And I know I acted wrong with him this morning on the bus but—" you sigh, "You should have seen how he reacted when he saw Floris at school again. This whole thing with Aemond probably wouldn't have happened if Floris hadn't left school, it's obvious there's still something between the two of them and that makes me feel… so upset and so jealous when I shouldn't!" you exclaim frustrated, "And I find it best to just stay away from him so I can stop feeling all this and my big mouth won't even think of telling him how I really feel."
"Y/N—
"I'm right, right?" you don't let him speak, watching him completely intently and worriedly, "I'm crazy."
Cregan smiles softly in your direction in an attempt to comfort you and shakes his head, as he takes another bite of a chocolate bread.
"No, not at all," he replies sincerely, "You're just being honest with yourself and me."
You stop in front of him, fiddling nervously with the fingers of your hands.
"I had to blurt it out," you say dejectedly, "I'm so confused. And you have to promise not to tell anyone," you tell him instantly.
"I promise," he tells you instantly too, nodding.
"So what do you think?"
He lets out a long breath before answering, watching you calmly and quietly, preparing in his mind what he will tell you next, while you wait desperately and anxiously.
"Listen, I think it doesn't matter that the two of you have been pretending all this time, but Aemond likes you, a lot."
He assures you and your heart leaps, parting your lips and watching him completely intently.
"I've seen the way he stares at you—
"Have you already forgotten that all this time we've been pretending?" you interrupt him in exasperation.
"And you think you can fake a look of love if he's not really in love?" he asks you, expectantly.
You let out a sigh, bringing a hand to your forehead, massaging your temples.
"That doesn't matter, I feel he still has feelings for Floris and I'm just another fool who fell in love with Aemond Targaryen," you look at him hopelessly, "And if you think about it, it's embarrassing."
"Okay, let's analyze the facts," he says confidently, incorporating himself better on the bed, "The fake relationship was his idea, you set most of the important rules and you're the one who wants to end the relationship, but you're here locked in your room preparing a movie night for yourself alone while he's waiting for you in the hot tub," he tells you condescendingly while pointing at the door with his thumb.
You watch him completely attentively, almost hesitant and unsure, thinking about it.
"And if you think about it precisely, yes, Aemond and Floris had something but it was nothing serious, he later went back to Alys and now that he erased Alys from his life, there is you and no one else," he explains to you, "Floris' return means nothing because he could have told you that it was better to end the fake relationship when he saw her again, but he didn't tell you anything, it was you," he assures you, "And yes, maybe you fell in love first, but eventually he also fell in love with you and harder."
Cregan's every word hits you like a wave of revelation, making you rethink your perceptions and doubts.
Maybe, in the midst of all this confusion, conflict and your doubts, Cregan is right.
Maybe Aemond really is in love with you, despite the fake relationship, Alys and Floris… maybe he is and the thought is as overwhelming as it is comforting.
If so… then what will happen?
You don't know but wanting to find out excites and scares you at the same time.
"Do you think he's waiting for me in the hot tub?" is the only question you can utter out of the thousands in your mind, watching him hopefully.
"Of course," he gives you an obvious look.
So you waste no time.
You leave on your pajamas of silk shorts with a tank top of the same fabric and throw a coat on over them. It's not really cold but the air here on the island is frosty enough for you.
And as you step outside a part of the castle where the hot tub is located, with your heartbeat echoing in your ears, you are greeted by a cool, salty breeze that caresses your skin.
The hot tub area is illuminated by a series of lights hanging from the ends of the trees, creating a calm and relaxing atmosphere. But what stands out the most is the blue light of the hot tub.
And there you see him.
You focus on the lone figure of Aemond as you move forward, who has his back to you, gazing off into the horizon, thoughtful while also distracted by the bubbles the hot tub is making around him.
You pause for a moment, watching him from a distance, feeling a strange mixture of excitement and nervousness fluttering in your chest.
The silver chain around his neck shines with a soft glow from the blue light, adding a touch of mystery to his profile, just as his white skin glows slightly from the glint of water on his skin.
The sound of the hot tub echoes in place, as well as the ocean waves outside and with nerves blocking your mind, you finally approach him, with quiet determination.
"Mind if I join you?"
You say to him with some insecurity and in a soft tone, hugging yourself, nervous and attentive.
Aemond turns his head towards you and his eye meets yours.
And if his gaze reflected surprise, he quickly turns back to an unexpressive face and without saying absolutely nothing to you, where you also tried to smile a little at him, he turns his gaze back to the front.
And you don't let it get to you, at least not yet.
"What? Now you're going to ignore me?"
And thankfully that's enough to make him talk to you. At least a little bit.
"Oh now I'm the one ignoring you?" he retorts bitterly, without even looking at you, "That's funny."
And he continues to turn his back on you, without saying anything else, to which you let out a long breath and without giving up yet, thinking about what Cregan told you and also considering your feelings, you approach him.
With hesitant steps, you climb the steps leading to the entrance of the hot tub and approach the edge, feeling the warmth of the water and the gentle steam rising in the air.
Feeling Aemond's gaze on you, you take a seat on the edge and dip your feet into the water as you return his gaze, which makes your heart pound in your chest again.
He is completely beautiful.
And the words don't come out of your mouth as you are hypnotized for a moment watching the flashes of light on his serene face with his flawless skin and those features that make him look so handsome.
But you finally focus.
"Well, I'm sorry this is my first trip here and I have no idea how to do the activities when you didn't even offer to guide me," you foolishly try to justify yourself.
"Oh and now I'm supposed to guide you after you ignored me on the bus?" he inquires.
You feel the blood rise to your cheeks and look away for a moment, embarrassed.
"Well, I thought I should do you a favor," you admit sheepishly, not really knowing what to say.
And you just had to say that?
Your mind reproaches you.
"Favor?" he repeats in confusion, "What favor?"
"It's obvious Floris is still interested in you," you explain, "And you and she had a thing in the past so was it better for her to sit down with you or not?"
Fucking fool.
Your mind keeps reproaching you, but you don't know why you had to say that either!
And you know it was really bad as Aemond makes a gesture of exasperation on his face and shakes his head as he averts his gaze from you and stretches out both arms to the edge of the hot tub.
"You know?" he starts to say in a frustration-laden tone of voice, watching you "For being such a good student… you can be really dumb sometimes."
You frown, bewildered by his words.
"What?"
"I wanted to sit with you, Y/N," he tells you in exasperation, wanting to make you understand, "Not with Floris or anyone else, just you," he says, his tone softening as he looks at you intently.
Oh.
Yes, oh.
Now you feel stupid and of course you should feel exactly that way.
And as Aemond's words echo in your mind, you feel a mixture of emotions inside you.
On the one hand, a sense of relief and joy finds its way into your chest as you hear his sincere words and know that he wanted to be with you. But you are also overcome with a slight embarrassment at your initial lack of understanding.
And because of the same nerves and how stupid you still feel, a soft laugh escapes your lips at his confession.
"So, Floris…
You let the words float in the air, as you watch him with that insecurity in your gaze.
"Floris was just a one time thing in the past. She doesn't interest me anymore," he assures you gently and firmly, completely honest.
You both remain silent for a moment, only hearing the bubbling of the hot tub, where you mostly admire how the blue light reflects all over his body and face, looking so fucking good.
Not to mention he has no shirt on.
You can feel the electricity in the air as he watches you with his face softer compared to a few moments ago, there's also almost adoration and hope, all just the same way you're watching him.
Then you break the silence.
"I'm sorry I didn't sit with you on the bus," you say sincerely.
And he makes a nonchalant gesture with his hand.
"It's all right."
And once again, silence envelops you as you both sink into the intimate and complicit atmosphere that surrounds you.
Then once everything has been 'cleared up' somehow, you sit up and take off your coat, to begin soaking in the hot tub along with him, causing him to watch you attentively and in confusion.
"You're going in your sleeping clothes?" he asks in a doubtful tone.
"I didn't bring a swimsuit," you reply, stopping in front of him and allowing yourself to enjoy the shared quiet and intimacy along with the warmth of the water.
You watch as his gaze sweeps over your body, mostly focused on watching the way the water envelops you in just the same way he does and you don't stop, as you position yourself right in front of him, your face inches from his.
And already starting to feel a little embarrassed by his burning gaze on you, you say the first thing that comes to mind.
"You know, I've never seen you without that chain," you say, feeling your knees bump against his thighs.
He smiles slowly, showing off his perfect aligned white teeth, marking each cheek with his beautiful dimples, having a knowing glint in his eye that is reflected as he inspects your face.
"It's part of me," he replies, in a soft, deep, husky voice than usual that sends shivers down your spine, "But I think I might make an exception tonight."
And before you can fully comprehend his words, you feel Aemond's hand on your thigh from under the water, sending a surge of electricity through your body.
Surprised, he makes you sit on his lap, while his other hand rests on your waist, drawing you to him gently but with remarkable determination, surprising you and making you feel instantly nervous.
You place your hands on his shoulders, seeking stability, as you watch him with your parted lips, seeing that the space between the two of you no longer exists.
The intensity of his gaze and the softness of his face take your breath away for an instant, reminding you why you are drawn to him in the first place. And a mix of emotions overwhelm you as you realize how much you've been longing for this moment.
Then you both shorten the little distance that separates you and finally you feel the sweet contact.
With no one around, no one else's eyes on you, just the two of you alone here, you kiss.
A slow and deep kiss, where you feel Aemond's lips soft and warm against yours, making you let yourself go and move closer to him if possible, taking one of your hands to caress his cheek.
And his body responds to your caresses, pulling you closer towards him as if he can't get enough, settling better into his lap and tilting his head to the side, deepening the kiss, where his hands run down your back, causing his touch to cause electric currents through your body.
Then you both pull away a little with a wet sound from their lips and you watch him directly into his eye, unable to believe this is actually happening, where Aemond breathes through his mouth and brings one of his hands up to your cheek, watching you intently and with that lazy smile.
"What?
With a small smile on your lips, you shake your head.
"Nothing," you reply in a soft tone and that makes him smile a little more, starting to trace your cheek with his fingers and your face with his gaze.
"You don't know what you're doing to me, love," he murmurs against your lips, his voice hoarse, "The way you make me feel… it's indescribable."
His words wash over you like a comforting warm wave, spreading throughout your chest and causing a sensation to settle in your lower abdomen.
His hand on your thigh slides all over your skin, producing shivers as he pulls you even closer and your whole body trembles slightly from the intensity in his desire as he shortens the distance again and his lips seek yours with a hunger that matches what you are feeling.
And in that moment there is no doubt or hesitation, only the overwhelming certainty of the connection that exists between the two of you. And just like him, you let your actions speak for you and everything you are feeling right now.
You deepen the kiss, as you lose yourself in the intoxicating rhythm of his kisses and your fingers gently glide over the skin of his face and run along the contours of his jaw.
"This wasn't in the contract," you murmur against his lips, agitated.
"No, it wasn't," he tells you just as agitated as you are, catching your lips with his again.
Then your other hand comes down on his bare chest, tracing his muscles and feeling the heat of his skin against yours, sending an electric shock that ignites a burning, fierce fire throughout his body.
Aemond moans against your lips and brings one of his hands to the back of your neck, tilting his head and holding you exactly where he wants you, while his other hand travels between the skin of your thighs and your lower back.
Then you decide to move on top of him and his breath hitches as he feels your movement and you too feel a tingle in your crotch.
Both he and you can feel the tension grow between the two of you and suddenly it is as if the world has vanished, existing only him and you with this moment of pure connection and desire.
And with each caress, you feel yourself falling more and more under the spell, lost in the intoxicating, indulgent pleasure you begin to experience. And with his heart beginning to pound, his caresses become more daring and urgent.
You too move with more purpose on top of him, beginning to feel a bulge grow just below your nerve center that caresses him and makes you feel so good.
"Do you want me to stop?" he asks against your lips.
"Please don't," you sentence, kissing him again.
You gasp against his lips and you both begin to gasp, feeling Aemond's chest rise and fall every instant, just like yours. And with the warm, comforting water enveloping you both it only makes it feel better.
You run your hands through his hair, pulling it away from his forehead to lean into him and continue kissing him as you continue to roll your hips on top of him, when he pulls away from you and begins to leave a trail of wet kisses from your cheek and down to your neck.
All your skin bristles and you let your head fall back, giving him more accessibility.
"Fuck," he murmurs hoarsely into the side of your neck.
And you lean into him again, kissing him, wanting to feel the caress of his lips on top of yours.
But then when the need and desire begins to build to a pace where Aemond thinks he won't be able to stop afterward, he decides to stop right there, pulling away from your lips and making you stop moving.
"Wait," he says to you in a low, husky tone, breathing through his mouth.
You look at him slightly confused, just as agitated as he is.
"What's wrong?" you say with your heart pounding in your chest as you take a deep breath.
He tries to catch his breath, closing his eye and resting his forehead against yours, still holding you above him.
"We can't," he says with some frustration.
You force yourself to take a deep breath, beginning to feel confusion and uncertainty invade you, watching him intently.
"Why not?" you ask in a whisper, still leaning into him.
He lets out a long breath through his nostrils, clearly fighting against the hardness beneath his shorts and keeping you on top of him in a way where you don't touch him or he'll go completely insane.
But his silence only makes you worry and think things that really aren't.
"Or is it that you don't want to do it with me?" you ask fearfully and with embarrassment starting to creep up on you.
"What?" he quickly looks at you, "No, no, that's not what I mean, of course I want to do it with you," he answers you quickly and completely honest, "But we can't do it here."
He points his gaze around you, to again look only at you with that intensity, revealing a mixture of his desires and his inner conflicts.
Oh.
A sense of relief washes over you as you realize it's not rejection, but concern for the circumstances.
"Ah… right," you say with a mixture of embarrassment and relief, also briefly glancing around you, "Sorry, I hadn't thought of that."
Aemond looks at you tenderly, his gaze softening with a mixture of desire, vulnerability, and what you think is love reflecting in its depths, then pulling your face towards him again.
"It's okay, we'll find another time," he assures you, his tone comforting.
You smile softly as you place your hands on both of his cheeks and he kisses you deeply again, causing you to melt into his arms and let yourself be completely carried away.
You feel embarrassed by your misunderstanding, but also grateful for his concern and consideration.
And you don't know exactly how long you both lasted inside the hot tub, just kissing and nothing more, occasionally playing with the bubbles, sharing an intimate and special moment together.
"I missed you," he murmurs against your lips, leaving a soft kiss that makes you smile.
"Me too," you confess, kissing him again.
And though desire still burns between the two of you, you both know it's best to wait and save that moment for a more private and suitable place.

You still don't know what the fuck happened.
But what you do know is that you went to sleep with a silly smile on your lips and at dawn, you put the same silly smile back on your lips as you remembered everything that happened.
However, surprise and fear also flooded you after remembering exactly everything you and Aemond did.
The two of you were going to have sex.
You were going to have sex with him in a hot tub.
You didn't even care about anything, the fact that they were out in the open, the fact that you weren't physically or mentally ready or even the fact that you and he weren't even real boyfriend and girlfriend.
But you wanted to do it, God, you wanted it and badly.
He was even the one who had to stop everything when on another plane, you probably would have done it, but no. You weren't thinking, you were completely drunk with pleasure and now shame is the only thing you feel all over your body.
You can't even tell Alysanne because of the shame and because you know she won't stop laughing at you. You even plan not to leave the room to avoid running into him. But Alysanne makes you go with her to her first surfing lesson.
And ready for the day as you walk with her down the stairs to the main lobby, you think about how if things with Aemond were already weird and awkward before that moment, now the two of you won't even be able to see each other's eyes.
But to your surprise, that's not what happens.
There are several students and teachers already in the lobby when you see his characteristic silver hair, but before you can react and even think, Aemond walks towards you with a small smile as soon as he sees you and kisses you, surprising you since you definitely didn't expect that.
And of course you noticed the look Cregan gave you both, but more to you specifically, but you just told him with your look that you will talk to him about everything later.
And so you start your activities in Dragonstone, with Aemond.
Of course you first keep Alysanne company in her surfing lessons and after she is totally focused on that, you and Aemond spend time together.
Under the golden sun, painting the horizon with warm hues and golden sparkles on the ocean waves, you both enjoy a walk along the shore of the beach, enjoying the salty air and the sea breeze that envelops you.
You talk about everything and about almost nothing at the same time, him being the first one to dare to hold your hand while you enjoy your little walk, making the blood rise to your cheeks and you enjoy like every teenage girl in love these little moments.
Then you both play a game of volleyball, where you both laugh and have fun as you immerse yourselves in the game.
And clearly from running around so much in the intense sun and getting almost sweaty, you get the idea that you both should swim a bit and surprisingly Aemond doesn't refuse the idea, even though he doesn't know how to swim, but you offer to teach him.
In a gray two-piece bikini, you lead him out into the waves, explaining how to move in the water and breathe properly, causing him to begin to gain confidence and enjoy the sensation of being carried by the waves.
But of course after that would come the laughter and playfulness, both laughing and talking while enjoying the sun and the salt water.
And in that moment, the fun turned into an intimate moment as Aemond holds you by the waist, pulling you closer to him. There is a silent intention in his gaze as he touches your skin with his burning hand and you don't pull away, on the contrary, you lean towards him.
You wrap your legs around his torso and his lips press against yours in a deep kiss, losing themselves to each other in the middle of the sea.
And when you both separate, you look at each other with a mixture of shyness and affection, while Aemond places a damp lock behind your ear, feeling a pleasant sensation that he can't quite describe envelop him, especially at the moment when you again leave a soft, tender kiss on his lips.
And with beaming smiles on your faces, you both get out of the water and go upstairs to your rooms to bathe and change your clothes.
But then the two of you meet again and he accompanies you to explore the castle together, marveling at the ancient relics and all the history that surrounds the place.
He also accompanies you to the library to take some photos and to the roof terraces where you get magnificent views of the whole island.
And in the castle's aquarium, you both find yourselves surrounded by fascinating sea creatures, sharing tender moments together as you watch the fish swim around.
The sea creatures seem to dance in the water, their bright colors and movements mesmerizing you as you walk among the tanks.
And as you both move through the exhibits, Aemond more than anything couldn't resist hugging and kissing you, expressing his affection in every gesture and you of course didn't mind.
"You are beautiful," he murmurs against your lips, watching you with that bright glint in his eye as he watches the reflection of the sun and water on your face, creating an aura of serenity and beauty around him.
The blood rushes up to your cheeks and you smile shyly, feeling so silly.
"You are beautiful too, Aemond Targaryen."
You lean towards him and leave another soft kiss on his lips that he reciprocates instantly, taking you by the waist and bringing you completely closer to him, wanting to keep touching and kissing you.
But you both continue the little tour holding hands, where you also take pictures together and of everything you see around you, wanting to capture these moments.
And even though he and you haven't really talked about anything, this doesn't feel like you're both pretending. This feels real and you like the way it feels when you are with him, being completely honest and genuine with your feelings.
Then the day goes on as normal and as expected, after doing all the educational activities in a certain way, it's time for the party.
"There will be my friends, Cregan, my sister and well, Alysanne if she wants to come too," Aemond tells you as you both head towards your rooms.
"I'll convince her to go," you assure him.
"Okay, I'll see you in fifteen minutes then."
"All right," you smile at him.
He leaves down a different hallway from the one you're heading down since each of your rooms are separate and you're focused on getting ready for this party.
You don't know how, but he and his friends have arranged to take a yacht for the night. Obviously they are not going to ride around in it with the night sky, but apparently they have everything ready for everyone to drink and enjoy a while.
Fortunately you convince Alysanne and the three of you soon arrive at the yacht that is stranded in the west harbor of the island, where Aemond's friends are already there, getting everything ready.
Then the music plays, the LED lights turn on and the drinks begin to be served.
Sitting on Aemond's lap, you didn't think you'd have as good a time as you're having now, laughing and talking to everyone, occasionally hugging and kissing him.
And fortunately nothing unfortunate or unpleasant happens, there is only the company of your friends and you enjoy Aemond's presence, clinging to him at every opportunity, hugging him and singing some songs with him like everyone else, having a good time.
And fortunately in the following days there is no activity you don't do with Aemond, even now if you go for a yacht ride, where you can perfectly see some students and also Alysanne practicing surfing.
You also cheer up with the scooter ride, just like him, completely enjoying the moment and the experience.
And you honestly don't want any of it to end.
You want everything to continue to be perfect.

cross posted on ao3 / part one
cw/tw: angst, hurt/comfort, Noah Sebastian Is Bad At Feelings But A Good Friend, reader is going through it, anxiety, hints/mentions of depression, noah is just a good guy and cares about reader a lot ( more than he realizes ), friends to lovers pining lol, 18+ minors do not interact
It's when Jolly asks Noah in-between takes if he'd heard from you recently that the anxiety finally settles in.
Because he doesn't know the last time he's heard from you. Which isn't normal.
He's a bad texter, notorious for looking at messages and making a note to reply to them later or replying in his mind, but he always makes sure to reply to you whenever the two of you aren't together. It's just always been a thing, to always have some form of communication with you when he wasn't over at yours or if you weren't at his, so it panics him when he can't remember the last time he'd spoken to you.
He goes through your messages and finds that it wasn't him this time who didn't respond, but instead it was you. Relief washes over him briefly, the guilt of forgetting to respond to his best friend vanishing, but then that anxiety comes back full force.
You didn't respond.
You always responded.
He sends off a quick message to you, apologizing for being in studio mode and not leaving the house and asks if you're alright. He waits. They go through another take, he somehow doesn't fuck it up even though his mind isn't all the way there. You still haven't responded by the fifth take and that's when he starts to feel sick, stomach twisting with the worry of what could be wrong.
He tries to think back to if you've ever gone this long without speaking and he can't think of a time when that has happened.
"Earth to Noah." Jolly's voice pulls him away from his thoughts.
"Oh. Uh, sorry."
"All good, man." His bandmate eyes him for a second before his eyes flicker towards his phone. "She respond?"
"Um. No." His brows furrowed as he stared at his phone, the black screen mocking him. "Kind of worried."
"Yeah... I am, too." Jolly murmurs. He clicks around on the screen a few times before twisting his chair around to fully face Noah, arms crossing over his chest. "You should go over there. Check and make sure she's alright."
Noah raises a brow at him. "We're in the middle of recording?"
"And?" Jolly shrugs, waving him off. "We got a lot done today, we can wrap it up. Something's obviously wrong and she might need you. That's more important than some song."
He blinks at his friend, letting his words settle in. Jolly's right, he thinks. You are more important than whatever song they're working on. That confirmation makes him feel funny, something tightening beneath his chest but he ignores it, nodding slowly.
"Okay. You wanna come?"
Jolly shakes his head. "Nah. The both of us might be overwhelming. If you do need me then call, if not..." He shrugs again before lifting himself up out of his chair, groaning softly to himself, "...might be best for just you to go. She'd probably feel better if it's just you, anyways. You know how she is."
Noah isn't quite sure what he means, but nods along anyways. He checks his phone again and still no text, but he notices that you read the message. He should feel relieved at the sign of life but it only makes his anxiety worse, stomach twisting violently.
"Okay. I'll text you when I get there."
He's practically running out of the studio after that, the only thing on his mind was you. He needed to make sure you were okay. Deep down he knew that if this was him, you would've already been here, and he feels guilty all over again. He should've paid more attention, shouldn't have let this slip his mind so easily. He thinks back to your last messages together and how you were talking about your work day, overwhelmed and quite frankly, upset about it all. He should've paid closer attention.
He makes it to yours in record time, legs moving him to the door before he can even think about it. He sends up a quiet prayer to the universe that you had given him an extra key months ago and uses it to unlock the door, slowly pushing it open.
He calls out your name, but no answer.
His eyes sweep over your apartment as he enters, scanning the open space. Your kitchen looked untouched, minus the few dirty dishes that were in your sink. A few boxes of Chinese take-out and some bottles of water. He feels almost relieved. You'd been eating and as far as he can tell you'd been keeping yourself somewhat hydrated, so that was a plus. He knows how bad you can be when you get into this headspace - brain fog, forgetting to do basic things like eating and drinking water. But this... this is a step in the right direction.
His eyes move towards the living room and it's just about the same. A pile of blankets lay together at one end of the couch, pillows scattered along the length of the cushions. You'd been there quite a bit, he can tell, but other than that nothing was too bad.
Noah feels like he can breathe for just a second, eyes going straight to the cracked open door to your bedroom. He hears the faint hum of your television and hears the muffled voice of your favorite characters in your favorite comfort show. His chest tightens. You only ever watch it when things get bad inside your head, when things start to become too overwhelming and you need to cling onto something that you know. Something that won't throw any surprises at you and make things worse.
He makes his way towards your room, ready to call out your name again as he pushes open your door but stops halfway. You're curled up in your bed, covered in a pile of blankets. He steps closer to get a better look at you and he doesn't think he's ever seen you look so peaceful. Lashes against the tops of your cheeks, lips parted. The crease between your brows is relaxed, which never happens.
Noah takes a deep breath.
You're alright. He can see that you're safe and sound, at least for now, and that's enough for him. He shuts your door behind him and makes his way back into the main room, taking his shoes off by the door. He takes another deep breath to center himself as he looks around your space, hand finding its way to his hair.
He decides he'll clean up your kitchen and living room. It isn't too bad, and it won't take him too long. He also just... doesn't want to leave yet. He'll wait until you wake up. Make you talk to him, ask what’s up. Probably make you eat something. Then he'll head home.
Sounds like a good plan to him.
Even though your door is shut he still tries to be quiet, making sure to carefully wash and put away your dishes without making too much of a fuss. After the dishes, he throws away all the take-out boxes and water bottles. He even makes a note to take the trash out for you when he's all done, because he knows you would've done it for him.
The constant reminder of you and knowing that you'd do something like this for him, and have, is the motivation he needs to continue. It makes him feel warm all over and he thinks how lucky he is to have someone like you as his best friend.
And he definitely ignores the bitter taste in his mouth at the word best friend.
It's maybe an hour after he's finished, curled up on your couch that now has its pillows in place, and the pile of blankets are neatly folded and put away, that you finally emerge from your room. You rub the sleep out of your eyes, not noticing him on the couch at first, but when you do you make a noise of surprise that has Noah laughing.
"Hey."
He notices the slight flush of your cheeks but ignores it. "Hi?"
"I uh," He scratches the back of his neck, sending you a sheepish smile. "Hadn't talked to you in a few days. Got worried. So did Jolly. Told me to come over. Check on you. You were sleeping so I just," He throws his arms around, gesturing to the space around him, "cleaned up a little? Figured you would appreciate a clean house when you woke up so..."
He's talking too much, he knows it, but he can't seem to stop the word vomit from coming out. Noah knows you wouldn't mind, but he was nervous, especially because all you do is stare at him without saying a word. Stare and stare and stare until you sniff, brows furrowing.
"...Thanks."
You're unusually quiet and it makes his stomach turn again. You sniff again and Noah swears you look like you're on the verge of tears, and he sits up on the couch. He watches you closely as you wring your hands together in front of you, mouth opening and closing as if you want to say something. You don't, and Noah catches the exact moment when your bottom lip trembles, and he's moving before he can even think about it.
"Hey. It's okay. You’re okay."
He tries to keep his voice soft and free of any panic, but his heart is beating so rapidly against his chest he swears you can hear it. You sniff again, head shaking as your lip continues to tremble and he does the only thing he can think of. He pulls you into his arms and presses you into his chest. You don't move for a second, but eventually your arms circle around his waist. You squeeze, tight, but he doesn't mind. He just squeezes you back.
Your body begins to shake as the cries start to rack through you, the sound muffled by the fabric of his shirt. Noah swallows down the lump that was beginning to form, cheek resting on the top of your head. He's always hated when you cry. He himself wasn’t one for much display of emotions, but when it came to the people he cared about, he hated seeing them anything but happy.
Especially you.
He's seen you cry a few times. Well, more than a few times. Sometimes it was over nothing, and then sometimes it was over an incredibly cute dog you'd seen scrolling on Twitter. He didn't mind those, but when it was over something serious, he fucking hated that. He never wanted you to be anything but happy, and whenever you weren’t, it’s like a piece of him breaks.
“What’s wrong?” He whispers into your hair, trying to pull you even closer to him.
“Everything.” You eventually mumble against his chest, sucking in a deep breath as you try to control your tears. “Fucking everything is wrong.”
He fucking hates the way that answer makes him feel. His chest feels like it's on fire, and he swears his heart just fucking broke at how sad you sounded, voice muffled by his shirt. He squeezes you to his chest again.
"Do you wanna talk about it?"
He wants you to talk about it, to tell him what's wrong so he can make it better. Noah knows it'll probably be damn near impossible to even do that, but god, he'd try absolutely anything to make your tears stop. You take a long moment to respond, trying to control your breathing, before you eventually shake your head against his chest.
"Not right now."
"Okay.” He mumbles, raising a hand to smooth down your hair. “That's okay, we don't have to."
"Thank you."
You stay like that for a moment, in the middle of your living room. Noah doesn't plan on letting go any time soon, thinking for a split second that he wished he could keep you in his arms forever. If you were there, he'd always know if you were okay. The thought fades before he could think too hard about it when you finally pull away from him, and Noah catches sight of your slight red and blotchy face. He frowns.
He doesn't remember the last time he's ever seen you so sad. So defeated. Whatever was going on really pained you, and he wishes you'd just tell him so he can fix it. Another passing, fleeting thought, but he thinks he'd do just about anything right now to see you smile again.
"Have you eaten?" He breaks the silence between the two of you, not waiting to hear whatever you were planning on saying.
You blink up at him. "Um... no. Not since this morning. Had some fruit and coffee."
"I figured." He guides you towards the couch, practically pushing you onto it. You snort when he grabs a throw blanket and dumps it onto you. "Pick something to watch."
It's not a question, but more of a command, and Noah ignores the way his chest flutters at the small smile you give him. He turned away from you, pushing whatever feeling was brewing inside of him so far down and got his brain to focus. Food. You need food. To be honest, so does he. He’d been so worried about you for the last few hours that he didn’t even think of getting something to eat.
It takes him a few minutes of rummaging around your kitchen to settle on making something easy - instant ramen. He’s surprised you hadn't eaten it all in the week you’ve been off-grid, but thankful nonetheless. Noah's way too impatient to wait any longer to actually cook something, especially knowing you hadn't eaten anything since this morning. Every so often he looked over his shoulder to watch you, wishing you'd say something, but would find you either staring blankly at the television or your phone.
A bitter taste settles in the back of his throat every time he turns back around to the stove. He hated this, and he fucking hated that he couldn't do a goddamn thing about it.
He brings your bowl to you once he's finished, already making a mental note to clean up the mess he had made while cooking. You blink up at him and reach for it, giving him a quiet, "Thank you."
Noah doesn't verbally say anything, just hums out a response as he ventures back into the kitchen to grab you something to drink. When he comes back he notices you had slowly begun to eat, and he feels his shoulders finally relax. Just knowing you ate something eases him, the tension in his body leaving him completely. You're already reaching out for the glass of water in his hand that he happily hands off to you, giving you a gentle smile.
"Need anything else?"
You shake your head, peering up at him. "No. Just want you to come sit with me."
That same fluttery feeling beneath his chest returns and he wishes he could ignore it again, but it doesn't go away. No, it stays perched underneath his chest, as if it's decided that it's making a home there and never leaving. He doesn't say anything, just nods at your request before grabbing his own bowl and a Pepsi you had in the fridge before making his way back to you.
You wait until he's settled on the couch to scoot closer to him, legs pressed flushed together. You're already halfway through your ramen and for a split second he forgets that weird feeling in his chest, instead focusing on the intense pride filling him. He was able to get you to eat, he was able to help out in some way. Knowing you were alright for the most part and it was from his doing made him feel good.
The both of you eat in silence as whatever show you decided to put on plays in the background. He’s just now realized it was The Office, and he huffs out a small laugh at something Michael Scott said. Another one of your comfort shows, something easy.
It isn't until you both are finished with your food and Noah's back in the kitchen cleaning up that you finally speak. He doesn't hear you come up behind him, focused on washing the dishes and making sure everything's clean and good to go, so he can't help but jump when he feels your arms slip around his waist and squeeze.
"Shit." He swears, followed by a breathy chuckle. "You scared me."
You don't say anything to that, just squeeze him harder and he feels you press your face against his back. Then ever so softly, he picks up the faintest, "Thank you," muffled against his back. His face flushes, eyes casting down to the soapy water his hands were currently submerged in. He's glad you can't see the blush on his cheeks, and he fucking hopes you can't hear the way his heart is pounding beneath his chest. Can probably feel it, though, and that makes his face burn even more.
"For what?" He manages to mumble out, resuming his efforts. Your arms squeeze his waist again.
"For being here." You sound so small. "You don't have to be, but you are, and I can't thank you enough for that."
"You'd do it for me." His response comes easily, voice nonchalant because it's true. He knows you'd do the same for him, and the thought has his stomach flipping every which way. "And have done it for me. It's the least I can do."
You're silent after that but don't part from him, and Noah can't help the smile that spreads across his lips at the feeling of you rubbing your face against him. It makes him feel warm all over, and that damned fluttery feeling in his chest is back yet again. You stay like that until he's finished with the dishes, moving with him as he shuffles to the side to dry them off. You don't pick your head up even when he manages to turn in your arms, finally facing you.
Noah's arms wrap around you, pulling you closer to him and now you can rub your face against his chest. He laughs softly, pressing his cheek against the top of your head.
"Still don't wanna talk about it?" He knows he's pressing but he can't help it, a part of him still needs to know what's wrong and how he can fix this for you.
You shake your head. "Not yet. Tomorrow, okay? I just... don't wanna think about it tonight."
"Okay." He thinks he can handle that.
"Thank you." You say again and finally lift your head up from his chest, blinking up at him. There's still a sadness there, roaming around behind your eyes, but not as prevalent as it was earlier. He’s at least done something right. "I'm really fucking lucky to have you, you know that, right?"
The way you're looking up at him is overwhelming, Noah's throat tightening at the softness surrounding your tired eyes. You smile at him and this time it reaches your gaze, not faked but real, and his heart slams against his chest. A thought passes his mind again, something he hasn't thought of in years, and he pushes it back with a hard swallow.
"You're just saying that because you didn't have to do the dishes."
You roll your eyes but that smile never drops from your lips, and Noah thinks he'd like to keep you smiling like that for the rest of his life.
"Shut up. I'm being serious." You're giggling now, eyes crinkling and he catches a glimpse of the real you for the first time in hours - probably days, weeks even.
"So am I." Noah yelps when you pinch his side, your laughter growing louder. "Hey!"
"I'm trying to be nice here, asshole. You can at least try, too."
He softens at that, eyes meeting yours. He's well aware his face is on fire right now, cheeks pink.
"You already know I'm lucky to have you. Didn't realize I had to say it."
Even if he doesn't say it often, he is very lucky. So incredibly lucky to have you in his life, for sticking by him and for understanding him. For always being patient with him. Jolly reminds him occasionally how lucky he is to have you, how all of them are lucky to have someone like you in their lives. He doesn't know what the fuck he or anyone did to be so deserving of you, but dammit, he's fucking thankful for it everyday.
You don't say anything, just continue to beam up at him and Noah can't seem to stop himself, tilting his head down to brush his lips against your forehead. He feels you press further into his chest, if it was even possible, and practically melt in his arms.
He wishes he could keep you here forever, tucked away in his arms. He thinks there isn't much he wouldn't do to keep you safe, to make sure you were okay, and that thought alone scares him. He'd never admit it, at least not out loud, and he tucks that thought away for another time. Or to possibly be never thought of again, he doesn't know. He doesn't really care.
No, all he cares about right now is that you're okay, at least for now, and that you're nestled against his chest like it's the only place you want to be.
And that's enough for him.

JUSTICE LEAGUE AS FRAT BOYS.
characters written about in this piece : bruce wayne, clark kent, barry allen, oliver queen, hal jordan
note : sexual content mentioned but by no means smut, and definitely some swearing,, it's just kind of cracky and humorous because rhat's all what we're here for, thanks for requesting ! and hope you enjoy
requested !
BRUCE WAYNE.
probably the most restrained out of everyone, and it has you wondering how he even got in the freaking fraternity. oh you'd be surprised. on the outside he's this calm, sorta brooding, quiet type,, like seeing him with the rest of these guys he totally doesn't fit in. BUT!!!! that IS THE ENTIRE RUSE !!!! it's all an act to get clunge. like you could never admit it, but he purposely goes to the campus library, waits around the romance section and then when he spots a cute girl he goes up with all these lines. "hey, sorry, do you think you could help me locate wuthering heights ?? i haven't been able to find it no matter where i look !!" and then the girl finds it and he's like oh will you go out with me for some coffee and then we all know what really happens. but he's gripping definitely, can get your attention as soon as he walks into a room, so the girl he was plotting on was probably already plotting on him. also unfortunately the type to go after girls all nice when they've just had a breakup,, "i'm so sorry, the guy who did this should die in a hole, want to come by mine tonight and we could watch some movies with takeout ?"
CLARK KENT.
everybody meets clark and can't imagine him being as bad as his frat brothers, and he's not, except he also is worse?? he's your token meathead, brain non existent frat boy, but gets it done just as effectively, if not better than everybody else. when he spends most of the 24 hours in his day at the gym, you'd wonder where he even gets the time to pick up girls, but then you're walking through thr frat house and it sounds like a pig is getting wrangled with those noises,, and then you're walking through the dorms and find one doorhandle with a pair of hot pink lace undies hanging off and you're like ahhh okay it's clark— hang on. because no one's ever actually seen him in action,, chatting up a girl i mean. say everyone's gone out to a club or a sports bar or something, he's with the guys the whole time but somehow by the time they get back to the frat he's rawdogging someone upstairs ??? (i think it's the muscles, they're a magnet) and he's definitely a member of the football team, got there on scholarship because he's a small town baby, and the quarterback or linebacker title is definitely something he flashes from time to time to attract the huzz
BARRY ALLEN.
okay just because i said it just now for clark's one it made me think,,, barry would SO use huzz unironically. like he's texting the gc "k abt 2 go back 2 frat w huzz i found in victoria secret" and yes he also does type like that. want to know what he's doing in victoria's secret ?? oh that's a secret i'll never tell xoxo gossip girl (he hangs out in the mall to locate fine shyt and then discreetly follows them into the stores until he talks to them, and because he's so charming they go back to the frat with him). but it's true, he does have some sort of effortless air about him, more of a boyish charm than the rest, but his tactic is more so blunt flattery than anything else. big a girl's ego nice, by saying how pretty she is — are you sure you're not wearing makeup ? you're so gorgeous i thought you must be born with eyelashes like that — and then let her take you back to her dorm so she can return the favour if you know what i'm getting at 💀
overall actually i think he's quite a nice guy, and not as overly exploitative as the others, but yk still likes to have a go because he wouldn't be in this fraternity for nothing. by no means is he the type to stop his friends from the way they behave, because, like i said, he's not here for nothing, but sometimes might make a comment if he thinks they've taken it too far with a girl (but then he'll just go and cheer her up after wink wink)
OLIVER QUEEN.
more likely to date someone than the rest of the guys, but that doesn't make him any better by far. he might be the worst of them actually, because he makes all these girls think they have a proper chance with this really cool charismatic guy (rizz lol) and then dumps them with that whole "it's not you it's me" after like two months of dating, and just goes on through his college life like that the cunt. he finds cute girls EVERYWHERE like literally everywhere. there was one time he brought a girl home after the first date, and then he went to go make them coffee in the communal kitchen, so everyone was asking where they met, and he deadass says ohh she was doing community service and she ditched it for this dick lol what can i say. if he had normal friends they might say what the fuck ollie, but then everyone asked where it was she was doing it so they can find some of her peers because she "was taking it nice" like lord... but then even she didn't last long, and it was actually her fault not his just getting bored. after a week she accused him of checking out another girl and pulled a hammer to his head, so obviously that was a situation he wanted to leave asap. most of the time ollie just chooses some really strange girls to date (even tho half the point is to just have sex but actually have a label to it), so he considers a lot just having simple one night stands never to see them again, or doing what hal does, but he can't seem to bring himself to have something completely temporary. even though all his relationships are.
HAL JORDAN.
literally THEE fucking fuck boy frat boy literally THEE worst nightmare you could ever think of. it's like hal has been in the game since the womb, like his calling in life was to be a frat boy and nothing more. he's such a cunt, like he knows exactly what to say to any girl to get in their pants you know it all the whole bizz. and he'll say anything. literally pretended for a whole semester to be gay once just to score. but his favourite past time has to be bar crawls on a friday night, except the goal isn't drinks at each bar, it's girls at each bar. literally carries an entire strip of condoms in his jeans pocket to rip one off in a time of need, which could be any time obviously for him. frat boy hal is definitely a fan of public stuff, likes the rush of the possibility of being caught (and oh noooo nooo pls don't find out how good i am in bed, well... in the back of an alley but you get what i meeeeaaaan). i think he's kind of like joey tribbiani, where it's like instead of how you doin he goes up like hey you alright ? to any living breathing thing with boobies, and somehow it always works, because he's got a collection of bras or panties in his drawers, which are like trophies for every body he scores.

KWON SOONYOUNG.
Junhui sent you his number after he dropped you off at your apartment. Apparently, Soonyoung was one of his good friends, who also happened to have a side gig where he gave out driving lessons at a discounted price. Of course, the downside was that Soonyoung wasn’t exactly certified to teach people how to drive, but he was allegedly a good driver.
His lessons were normally for high schoolers, and he charged their parents around a hundred. For adults over the age of 21, though, he had a special offer that you couldn’t resist.
You texted him to ask if he had any open spots for you. He took a few days to reply, but you eventually got a two-hour slot for the next week. You weren’t sure how effective his lessons would be, but you figured you would give it a shot since he was your age and giving out classes for cheap.
When the day of your lessons rolled around, you were slightly anxious while you were waiting for him to arrive. You needed Junhui to reassure you for hours last night, promising that no, Soonyoung was not going to kidnap and murder you. He was a student at your university, actually, and he was a public health major who never had a murderous thought in his life.
soonyoung (driving instructor): i’m outside your house
Okay, if he wasn’t a murderer, then the least he could do was not text you like one.
After replying with an omw that autocorrected to On my way! and left you feeling very distressed that your communication sounded overly-enthusiastic, you worked up the courage to walk outside to his Honda Accord.
“Hi,” you greeted shyly when you opened the door. “You’re Soonyoung, right?”
Honestly, you didn’t care if he was Soonyoung or not. The man sitting in the driver’s seat was probably one of the most attractive people you had ever laid eyes on. Even if he wasn’t Kwon Soonyoung, you would happily let him kidnap you. Maybe you’d even blush a little because he picked you of all people to kidnap.
He turned to look at you, seeming a little surprised that you opened the door but smiling nevertheless. “Yeah, that’s me. You’re Y/N?”
When you nodded, he got out of the driver’s seat and motioned for you to take it. You skirted around the car to sit inside while Soonyoung took the passenger’s seat.
You also got a glance of his off-brand, beige Fear of God Essentials sweater that read M.I.L.F. Hunter instead. Classy.
“So, you came to me because you didn’t wanna give up your semester’s worth of college tuition for driving lessons,” Soonyoung said with an overwhelming air of confidence.
“Yeah, pretty much.” You huffed. “Here, I heard this was your payment.”
You handed him a paper bag, not bothering to take out the receipt from the dispensary. Inside was the King Louis XIII STIIZY pod. One gram.
“Ah, good. You know your stuff.”
Soonyoung hummed as he examined the box, and you were just wondering when he would get to business and start showing you the controls in his car. You were slightly overwhelmed by his impressively relaxed demeanor. Maybe it would have been better if you settled for an uptight woman in her sixties. Pretty boys were always trouble.
“You made the right choice coming to me. I’m a much better driver than those hags from the driving schools around here,” he continued. It was like he could read your mind; it was almost terrifying. “Plus, way less likely that I’ll get a heart attack in the passenger’s seat.”
He was a total weirdo, but he was hot, so you supposed it canceled out in some obscure, mathematical sense.
"That’s… good to hear, I think,” you replied. “So, are you, like, good at this?”
“Are you kidding? I’m basically the Lebron of driving.”
“I see.” You nodded along, unsure. “I don’t watch football, so…”
“He plays basketball, but close enough.”

“confessions”
𓂃 ౨𓎟𓎟 ♡⠀ 𓎟𓎟ৎ 𓂃
bestfriend!ellie x reader
note: this fanfic is pretty small and based on experience👅

Ellie has been your friend since middle school. Now that you are in college studying medicine and Ellie wants to study astronomy, you don't see her as often because you attend different colleges.
However, she sometimes stays at your apartment.
A few weeks have passed, and you've felt different around Ellie, but it wasn't because of something she did. Maybe you were falling for her? you kept telling yourself. It was a weird feeling at first, but you tried to ignored it.
A few weeks have passed, and you've felt different around Ellie, but it wasn't because of something she did. Maybe you were falling for her? you kept telling yourself. It was a weird feeling at first, but you definitely liked her. You haven't seen Ellie in a while. Even though you texted her every day, you missed her touch, her warm hugs, and especially her gorgeous smile that makes her eyes glow.
One night, after you arrived at your apartment, you heard a knock on the door.
You opened it to find Ellie standing there, smiling as always. "What are you doing here?" you chuckled. "Just came by to see you," she replied. You noticed the guitar in her hands. Ellie was always passionate about playing her guitar, and you loved that about her. "Well then, come in. I can make dinner for us," you said as Ellie entered. "Let's get started then," she said, putting her things down to help you cook.
She wasn't the best cook, but she still loved to help you.
You cooked Alfredo pasta, which you both loved. As you served the pasta and started eating, you asked, "So, why'd you come by?" You asked "I just missed you." You felt your face slowly turn red when Ellie said that. "I missed you too, Els." you smiled. After a few minutes, you both finished your pasta. "You are actually the best cook," Ellie teased. "If you say so," you teased back.
A while later, you and Ellie were talking while lying on the carpet in your room. "So, do you have a crush on anyone right now?" Ellie inquired. You avoided meeting her gaze. Should I confess? you pondered silently. "So?" she asked again, waiting for an answer. "I do like someone," you said in a lower tone. "Can you at least describe them?" Ellie persisted. She wanted to know, so you decided to give in. She wouldn't know who it was if you just described the person you liked, right?
"Fine, well.." you looked at Ellie; she was staring at the ceiling while waiting for you to say something. "Well, she has freckles all over her face. She also has a beautiful smile that makes her eyes squint a little, and she's always wearing a bracelet." You couldn't help but chuckle while saying this; she was just so gorgeous that words couldn't fully capture it.
Ellie looked at you and whispered, “Why do I feel like you're describing someone I know?" She laughed. "Maybe because I'm describing you, idiot," you blurted out.
"Wait... do you like me?" Ellie sat up, looking you straight in the eye. You knew you couldn't lie, not when she was looking at you like that. "Well... shit, yes, I like you, Els." You looked away, unable to face her after that confession. "You can't just look away after saying that."
Ellie was a little surprised, but the signs had been rather obvious. "I'm sorry, I'm just... scared that you probably don't feel the same way, and I don't want to ruin things between us." You still didn't look at Ellie; you were just too nervous. "And who said I didn't feel the same way?" she said in a soft tone. "What?" Your gaze met Ellie's. "You... feel the same way?" The room felt tense, but that wasn't always bad. "I've been wanting to tell you, but I guess you did it for me." Ellie chuckled in a teasing manner. "I suppose I did," you laughed.
You and Ellie had been making eye contact for a few minutes, your faces getting closer until you sensed her lips meeting yours. Her touch felt warm and comforting, and you could feel your face flush. Ellie looked at you, half-smiling.
"You're blushing," she teased. "Oh, shut up!" you laughed.
