Beberapa hari lalu gue lg buka tiktok, terus muncul satu video. Cewe ini cerita, besok dia ulang tahun tapi dia ngerasa anxious bgt sampe ngurung diri dikamar, ternyata pas dia keluar kamar sama ibunya udh naro kado depan pintu, bukannya seneng dia malah tambah sedih. Mungkin ini yang gue rasain waktu ultah gue ke-22, "birthday blues"

Tahun 2020, tahun pertama pandemi jadi keluarga gue ya ngumpul2 dirumah aja. Hari itu gue beneran rasanya gak mau bangun mau dikasur aja...... Tapi ternyata ummi, mba iya dan mba syifa udh nyiapin beli kue pagi2 (jadi makin real, Im glad about the whole cake and surprise thing tho) (note: keluarga gue bukan tipe yg ngerayain2 gitu jadi hari ultah kaya hari biasa aja, paling didoain aja). Karna hari itu gue gak mau bangun bgt, kayaknya sih jam 10 gue jg msh dikasur selimutan, pdhl gue denger ummi pergi keluar pagi2 (buat beli kue). Dan mrk kaya masuk ke kamar gue buat SURPRISE!!! And tau apa? Gue malah nangissss 🙃 harusnya wah, senang, kaget, tapi aku malah nangis.

Terus hari itu yaudah gue menjalankan hari hari gue seperti biasa. Alhamdulillah nya gue ditahun selanjut2nya berusaha buat "oh hari ini ulang tahun, okedeh", dan makin tua tuh makin yaudah gak sih?

Gue sampe skrg masih suka kaget lha udh 24? I feel stuck in 22 yo jujur. Kadang gue mikir dulu skrg tahun berapa, dan gue lahir tahun brp. Karna diotak gue selalu 22thn.

Dipenghujung 2022 ini, I feel like im ready for next chapter of my life. Tiap hari kalau ada hal baik yang diluar keseharian, gue selalu excited dan bersyukur banget. gue berharap tahun depan tetep diberi kesehatan buat keluarga ini, smg Allah mudahkan gue untuk bisa meluangkan waktu untuk belajar, jadi pribadi yang lebih baik, diberi kemudahan rejeki yg berkah dan banyak bersyukur. (And i think im ready to start my own family, haha) Aamiin. Tapi Allah tau ya yang terbaik, mungkin belum waktu dan saat yang tepat. Kadang gue juga ngerasa, hidup gue skrg, yang baik dan yang buruk mungkin karna doa-doa gue dimasa lalu, atau mungkin gue kurang sungguh2 doanya. Semoga selalu diberi perlindungan dan ampunan dari doa2 gue yang gak sesuai syariat.

Tapi pernah gak sih mikir, kita udah planning A B C D, tapi kalo umurnya gak sampe gimana? YaAllahh takut....

drafting 12/2: the day you can no longer bring yourself to tears

i wrote a lot this year about a guy. i don't normally have journals dedicate to a guy and my feelings and experiences with him, but this was unique.

lots of guys have liked me. that's a privilege, i guess (eh). so i get my pick of the litter when i choose to like someone back. and these people are strategic. i would never invest if i didn't anticipate a significant return.

on february 5, i was perusing the list of zoom participants for my cs x social science class to look for a potential swe lover. i found a cute one. and then proceeded to google him. and find his github, linkedin, etc. fuck me. the very same night, im at the school bar scrolling through tinder. with absolutely no intentions of meeting any of these guys, and honestly using tinder for the sole purpose of locating one of the guys that i fancy in real life, but would never otherwise speak to them. and vice versa. then boom. i see said swe lover boy from zoom. i like him. we do not match. fuck off, in the interim, i will revisit in a few days to ensure you hadn't just not seen me yet. oh fuck. next evening. we matched. "hi you're insanely cute." 300 days ago today exactly.

i hadn't liked a boy like this really ever. at least in a long time. i'd dated a few guys. i'd liked them. but there's two boys that have struck me right in the heart (this is a joke/play on words on something my high school bff and i used to say about one direction) in my life. my first little love-- my high school boyfriend. and now, him. #2. my high school boyfriend and i broke up at 16. i met #2 just weeks before turning 22. six fucking years apart. holy shit.

so maybe that's why it struck me. and it was doomed from the beginning, see previous journal entries if anyone ever reads this. i cried throughout our time together. i'd cry driving home from his place. next to him in bed. at home. i made a playlist dedicated to my sad feelings of him leaving. i was often happy, but so scared, and so sad. i liked him so much, but the sad unfortunately outweighed the happy and led to our demise. wah.

we broke up, officially, on august 15. we spent a week together in july and i loved every moment he was with me. we finally got clarity on where we stood. we fucked, a lot (my personal favorite). we re-had our first kiss at the griffith observatory at night. we had a proper hug on the goodbye. and then we tried long distance. for five weeks exactly.

i know i love this boy still. im still so sad, and devastated. i want to text him a joke, not that i miss him because that's hideous. i am still plotting what our first exchange will be since breaking no contact. im assuming it'd be a birthday message, since we have the same birthday. he probably thinks i don't want to hear from him. and while i dont want to act out or irrationally, i know distance is the only way i'd move on.

forgetting is the only way i could move on. and that comes with time. while i once felt so intense for my #1 first little lover, even years after, i now feel nothing. if i saw him on the street, i wouldn't get a shock pulsating through my body. only time and distance can heal that.

but today, i wanted to cry. i wanted to listen to said sad playlist that i made about him, and cry. i wanted to feel grief.

im past the on-command crying stage now, i guess.

A WEEK HAD PASSED BY after that event where the males volleyball club— or at least for Oikawa Tōru, had known that one of the resident fucklords of the males volleyball club of Aoba Johsai, Matsukawa Issei (also known as the very ridiculous nickname "Mattsun" courtesy by the dumbass named Oikawa Tōru) was dating the student council president, [Last name] [Name].

"Mattsun!!! How does it feel like dating Brickwall-san?!?"

And it seemed like Oikawa Tōru, the oh so perfect male of Aoba Johsai (but resident dumpster trash and alien weirdo for his teammates and friends) was still not over the fact that Issei was dating [Name], or currently known as "Brickwall-san" by the chocolate brown haired male.

Currently, the four third years were in the gym's changing room. The practice for the day was already done and they were in the middle of changing while the rest of the team were already finished since they weren't actually wasting their time. Not like these four, well, three as the black haired ace unfortunately had to keep an eye to the two crackheads and trashy asshole that he call his teammates and friends.

"Are the rumors about him being a good kisser true?!?" Tōru asked without shame whatsoever as the unfortunate best friend of Tōru, Iwaizumi Hajime only let out a tired sigh at the volleyball captain's question.

Hajime was already so done with trying to stop Tōru for asking any more dumb questions as the chocolate brown haired male just couldn't stop. This wasn't his fucking job, goddammit. Iwaizumi Hajime wanted to fucking die right now. What a mood.

Hanamaki Takahiro, who was beside Issei looked at Tōru with a raised brow. The light brown (pink???) haired male mischievous smirked as his eyes shined in a sick sense of amusement. And not far behind him, Issei had that same look of mischievous amusement aswell.

The volleyball team's ace could only let out another tired sigh as he began to rub his temple, feeling the incoming headache already as he muttered curses underneath his breath. This wasn't his fucking job. He wasn't a fucking babysitter goodammit, so why does he have to deal with this bullshit?

"Eh? Why do you want to know?" Takahiro asked as he gave the third year setter a look yet the grin on his lips never leaving nor the amusement in his eyes. "Is Shittykawa interested on Prez?"

"You better not Loserkawa," Issei merely said with a smile, sending the volleyball captain an amused look but his eyes held a small glint of something neither any of the team can pin point what it was. But the volleyball captain felt a shiver down his spine. It was oddly terrifying and Tōru doesn't want to die, thank you very much.

"Wow, someone's territorial," Takahiro quietly snickered as he stopped himself from laughing when his friend had sent him a look and then elbowing him.

It seemed like it took a moment for the third year setter to realized what Takahiro had just said about him liking [Name], and it immediately made Tōru want to gag. The said male let out sputters as Tōru's face bloomed red. Head furiously shaking as he crossed his arms like an "x" formation in his chest.

"H-hah?!? Makki I am not!!!" Tōru screamed. Face horrified as he imagined himself liking the [Hair color] haired male. As if!!! That guy gave him the shivers and not in a cutesy way but the one with creeps!!! "I can't even imagine him even dating anyone!!!"

"Oi, [Last name]-san is literally dating your teammate, Dumbkawa," Hajime had said in annoyance as he punched the chocolate brown haired male on the back of his head. Tōru only cried out in pain as he rubbed his head to ease up the ache he was feeling.

"Wah! Iwa-chan your so mean!"

"Well, Weirdkawa is not wrong," Issei has said as both Tōru and Hajime paused and looked at him, confused while Takahiro laughed at their dumbfounded look aswell as the words coming out of his friend's mouth. "I don't even know how he is dating me," Issei said as he finished buttoning his uniform.

"Mattsun... what?" The chocolate brown haired male managed to said as he looked at the black haired middle blocker with a look of confusion while the said male shrugged his shoulders with a small grin on his lips.

"What? [Name] is still a mystery to me too," Issei had said.

"You both are gay for each other, end of discussion," Takahiro butted in as he then turned to the volleyball captain.

"But Asskawa, why would you ask if he is a good kisser?" Takahiro asked as Issei nodded beside him. Neither of the two didn't mind Tōru crying on the different insulting nickname they used to call him.

"Mattsun, Shittykawa is trying to steal Prez away from you!" The light brown (maybe pink, no one fucking knows) haired male said in very obvious tone of sarcasm yet Tōru didn't seemed to caught on to it that Takahiro was joking. Man, what a dumbass.

"Makki!!! I do not!!!" Tōru cried as he made disgusted faces. Oikawa Tōru seriously doesn't want anything to do with the oh so loved (and also terrifying for most of the Aoba Johsai population) student council president that was [Name].

"You can have him all to yourself Mattsun!!!" Tōru cried as he then yelped in pain when the black haired ace punched the back of his head hard.

"Can you shut up already, Shittykawa?!?" Hajime asked in annoyance as he began to beat the volleyball captain while both Takahiro and Issei snickered as they watched the ace pummel their captain. Still sadistic assholes, the two were.

"Um, senpais?" The four stopped and looked at the entrance of the changing room to see Kindaichi Yūtarō who looked a bit nervous.

"Oh, Kindaichi!" Tōru happily said. The volleyball captain was rather happy to see his junior as Yūtarō's appearance managed to make Hajime's brutal beating to a hold. "What do you need?"

With that, Yūtarō straightened himself as he bowed. "Excuse me for disturbing any of you," Yūtarō apologized as he stood back up and turned to look at Issei who rosed a brow at him. "But [Last name]-senpai is here and is asking for Matsukawa-senpai!"

"Ah, looks like your bae is here Mattsun!" Tōru had said as he was the first one to realized what their junior has said. The volleyball captain wasted no time to teased Issei who didn't even give a single glance at him as the black haired middle blocker nodded at Yūtarō.

"Thanks," Issei had said as the first year once again bowed and then went back outside the changing room and go who knows where.

"Mattsun is walking home with his boo," Takahiro had teased as he patted the black haired middle blocker's back. Giving Issei a smile when the male turned to roll his eyes at him. "Enjoy your time with your boo, dickhead."

"Your just sad because your single, bitch," Issei had said as he stuck his tongue out at Takahiro who snorted at his words.

"Fuck you, man."

"Nah, [Name]'s got that covered."

The two friend snickered at their words as both Tōru and Hajime looked at each other and then shrugged. They would've butted in but it seemed like the two fucklords were in their own world.

It took a minute or so, and then Issei was already finishing on changing to his uniform as he took his bag from the bench that was inside the changing room. The black haired male was already at the doorway fo the changing room when he stopped and and gave a mocking salut to the three third years.

"Later bitches," Issei had bid as Tōru whined on being insulted as Hajime sighed and slapped the back of the captain's head which earned more cries from the chocolate brown haired male while Takahiro rolled his eyes.

"Hope you got run over by a truck while Prez watches, you dick," Takahiro hollered as Issei turned to give his friend a middle finger while the said male stuck his tongue out and did the same aswell.

"Bitter bitch!"

"Dumb dick!"

"Can you two not be vulgar?!?"

"But Iwa-chan, you use those words too— AHH NOT THE FACE PLEASE!!!"

   "Did you wait long?" Issei had asked as he approached the [Hair color] haired male who shook his head. Issei smiled at that.

"Not really," [Name] had said as Issei had walked beside him. The black haired male then immediately grabbed his hand and [Name] didn't mind. He always liked when Issei's hand was intertwined with his. "Did you have fun with practice?" [Name] had to bit back a smile that was threatening to come its way to his lips as he heard Issei groan.

"It was tiring," Issei had said as he pouted. "Dumbkawa was also being annoying, like always," Issei added which made [Name] softly chuckle.

"Isn't he always?" The [Hair color] haired male had said as Issei let out a snort at his words. The black haired male gave [Name] a grin, eyes gleamed with joy.

"Yeah, your right about that."

With a hum, [Name] squeezed Issei's hand as he began to walk. "Come on, let's head back home already."

"Yeah, yeah, Prez."

"Please don't call me that."

Life As We Know It

Welkam to my second home, long time no log in, oh my dearest Tumblr account. Gue lama banget gak olahraga nulis, kangen juga. Kalau dibilang stuck gara-gara kekurangan bahan tulisan enggak juga sih ya, malah banyak banget yang pengen diceritain, tapi ya gitu, selalu kalah sama “ntar dulu” atau enggak ya apalagi kalau bukan kondisi payah banget dalam nge-manage waktu, ah klasik, Gin. Ok, without any further do, let’s get started aja. Jadi, beberapa waktu lalu, sekitar pertengahan Februari gitu ya tepatnya tanggal 16 gue berangkat ke Palembang dengan kesadaran diri penuh hasil keputusan yang gue ambil dengan bulat juga (plus setelah konsultasi dan minta restu ortu, obviously). Kenapa gue ambil tawaran ini, karena dasarnya gue selalu suka dengan hal-hal baru dan penuh challenge dalam hal apa pun itu, even di tengah-tengah ngejalaninnya ada banget rungsingnya, overwhelmed, dan antek-antek anxiety gang lainnya. Walhasil dari ya sesimpel, turns out things could be drastically different when it comes to reality and can be so far from what i do know in my head, obviously, tapi yang gue suka after feeling dan semua kerempongan itu adalah gue bisa banyaaaaaaaak dapet pelajaran a.k.a hikmah(?), yang kadang ya langsung sadar, dan gak jarang juga telat banget sadarnya.

Selama gue di Palembang, lebih tepatnya di Kabupaten OKU Timur kurang lebih yaaaah 2 bulanan lah ya, ternyata bener-bener kerasa banget nih tempaannya, gue jadi banyak banget relate ke berbagai hal dan banyak belajar soal macem-macem. Basic skill life a.k.a pekerjaan domestik, terus yang paling seru adalah gue baru bener-bener ketemu jenis manusia yang menurut gue “wow unik ya ni orang” unik dalam artian hmmmm kadang susah untuk gue jabarkan dengan kata-kata karena saking gue bingungnya untuk dealing sama orang modelan begitu sih, terus gue belajar soal dealing with endless people’s meeting, yaa secara bok, tinggal se basecamp yang isinya 10 orang, cowok cewek campur wkwkw, malah banyakan cowoknya, ceweknya cuman 3 orang doang. tapi yaa highly focus when it comes to work, no time for play, karena work loadnya gila bener, gak ada waktu buat becandaan haha hehe seru kayak gitu, even pas break juga mentok mainan sama kucing(?), plus gue rada kaget mengetahui no separate work-life nya tinggi banget, disitu gue bener-bener adaptasi banget, karena itu dunia yang super baru buat gue.

Hal yang paling bikin gue aware sedari awal adalah, ketika emang kerja modelan tim begitu rawan banget dramanya, apalagi tinggal serumah begitu, wah ya nambah-nambah sih. Gak perlu tinggal lama sih buat tau kepribadian seseorang, cukup lima hari aja even tiga hari pun udah cukup. Semakin sering gue bersinggungan sama beraneka macam orang, gue jadi kenal sama diri sendiri kalau ya ternyata gue gak punya cukup banyak energi untuk terus bisa dealing sama orang banyak yang jumlahnya lebih dari tiga, it’s drained my energy so much and feels like drowning dan ujung-ujungnya gue rungsing sendiri, as if Im asking for immediately space, kan gak lucu aja tetiba kumat terus gue kudu menyendiri gitu, meanwhile lagi padet-padetnya kerjaan, so self controldi sini main pake banget. Gue jadi tau kapan waktu-waku terbaik gue untuk komunikasi dan dealing sama orang lain di luar kerjaan. Di situ gue mikir banget jadinya, am I ready to even starting a whole new life with my any who partner life to be for whatever the circumentances might hard as hell, and have to manage and dealing with our endlessly ego and compromise each other (?) nah loh jadi lah bahas ke marriage life, sek deh itu bahas kapan-kapan, balik lagi ke bahasan yang tinggal serumah ya.

Paling bener memang jargon “if you wanna go fast, go alone, but if you wanna go far, go together”. Kalau mau cepet dan srat sret srat sret ya cus tinggal pergi dan manage semuanya sendiri, but in team work, gak bisa kayak gitu, selalu ada certain people yang hmmmm ada aja gitu kelakuannya, gak bisa diajak cepet, entah sistem dari atasnya atau bahkan kolega se tim sendiri, ada yang srat sret eh yang ono santai, even di awal udah jelas nih goal tim itu apa, but, you know, selalu gak bisa se stick itu sama visi misi di awal, ujung-ujungnya mah. After all, gue happy karena ketika gue mendapatkan banyak kerungsingan, kepuyengan dan endless ngedumel soal environmental work, work ethics, relation sama orang-orangnya and anything in between, setidaknya hidup gue jadi lebih berwarna dari yang biasanya, ada stressor baru yang memang sedari awal udah sangat gue acknowledge kurang lebih bakalan kayak gimana end upnya dan gue sangat happy ketika stressor itu justru ngasih gue perspektif yang beda, baru dan segar, yang belum tentu gue temuin ketika gue gak ambil tawaran itu. Gue seneng bisa berada di fase challenging dan gue bangga bisa overcome itu sedikit-sedikit bahkan gue banyak belajar.

Fase itu ngajarin gue banget kalau terkadang ketika dihadapkan sama pilihan atau tawaran, boleh banget mikir panjang, tapi bener-bener deh ikutin kata hati, dan ikutin apa yang bener kalian pengenin. Sempet ngerasa bersalah di awal karena gue mikirnya “asyik nih bisa jalan-jalan” eh gak taunya yaa, work is still work anyway, even it further away or close, lol. Point gue adalah kita beneran gak akan pernah tau sih pelajaran hidup apa yang bakal kita dapet kalau kita juga gak nyoba, gak go grab it dan gak take a step untuk keluar dari suatu zona yang kita kira kita bisa terus belajar di situ, in my honest opinion, a little bit unpredictable and uneasy circumentances is good for character development, as long as we’re fully aware dengan apa-apa yang akan terjadi, at least punya bayangan dulu deh apa yang mau dihadapin dan udah punya bekal sekiranya dealing and handling nya gimana, bayangan aja dulu, soalnya kadang pas di kenyataan suka beda jauh banget, tapi gak papa, biar gak shock banget gitu aja. Intinya jangan gampang settle, for any less. Itu salah satu mantra gue yang selalu gue resonate ke diri gue sendiri kalau gue mulai rada menye-menye or kebanyakan sambat, and it works so far. Yup, life as we know it babe.

well... i hit 300 followers. not sure if it’s a milestone worth mentioning (if you’re one who followed because of the musicals and hasn’t gotten a message, read what it says at the top of my stuff i have page) or not since i can honestly say that i only started this tumblr for myself and everything i translate was really only done for my own sake... and I really have no idea if that number is good or bad for the amount of time I’ve been posting lol.

Still, i’m going to use the fact that this happened as an excuse to post this since i couldn’t figure out where to stick it in my queue since i didn’t want to wait til september to post this lol.

Anyway, this damn track is 18 min long... and i’ll get to the video next month along with the Hijikata web drama (have to push that back cause i got a bit busy with some things). Please note that the text left in bold is when Amagiri’s conversation with Kazama gets overlapped by Shiranui speaking. 

As always, final edits will be done when I get to my subtitle video... need to double check that other video translation and the audio for a few things.

APA BENER ALKOHOL ITU ADDICTIVE DAN BIKIN ORANG NGERASA “BAIKAN”?

A mental wellness after drinking alcohol? Does that really exist?

Mari kita cari tau. Pacar sendiri udah lebih dulu tau. Ya karena lingkungan kerja dan kampus dia yang emang supportive banget soal itu. Walau dia lebih muda, bisa dibilang pengalaman dia lebih banyak. Termasuk soal alkohol. Mulai dari alkohol yang biasa sampe yang kenceng. Dari Ryu, pacarku yang lebih muda tapi lebih berpengalaman itulah aku ngebayangin rasa-rasa alkohol. Waaaaaaw baru ngebayanagin aja udah pengen. Kan lucu gitu mau minum yang haram tapi rasanya imut kaya kinder joy.

Alkohol pertama yang aku pengen adalah Baileys.

*jangan ditimpuk tapi aku beneran gatau kalo itu alkohol mahal*

Kenapa Baileys? Ryu menggambarkan Baileys itu enak diminum bareng es krim enak.

Ibarat anak kecil, diiming-imingin es krim aja udah seneng. Wah berarti smooth dong. Pasti ga bakal nyengir kaya di tipi-tipi. Eh masa sih? Apakah aku nanti akan bilang "ahhhrggh"  kaya drunken master yang mau mabok lalu bisa kung fu? Jawabannya ada di Baileys! Aku bilang ke kak mithya pengen Baileys.

Okesip. Deal.

Pertama-tama aku nego dulu, aku pengen Baileys rasa mangga. Sayangnya, ga ada. Katanya cuma ada dua original irish cream dan cofee liqeur. Aku pilih Irish cream karena

aku ga suka kopi. Dengan polosnya aku bilang ke dia

" digratisin sama kak mithya kan?"

*serius aku ga googling juga harganya*

"Iya I'll get a bottle :D" "yeay!" "So we need a place then, cant just go to a public place and drink" "Gaboleh ya" "Iya lah. Lebih masalah membawa minuman/makanan dari luar sih. Lagian kalau sampe drunk/tipsy, it's really not safe. Im gonna get worried about you having it for the first time" "di hotel akuuu aja"

Aku oke-oke aja di hotel dan toh jadinya rame-rame karena kita bertiga bakal nonton film sadis sambil minum. Yah untuk 3 manusia yang belum pernah ketemu dan duanya adalah dua temen yang udah lama banget ga ketemu, nonton film adalah hal yang paling make sense dan meminimalisir awkwardness.

Sebelum hari itu datang, udah di briefing ryu soal alkohol. Karena hari itu juga hari-hari terakhir di Jakarta, kita juga fokus sama pacaran yang berujung kecapean.

Iyalah cape, aku udah kaya commute bogor- depok-Jakarta ngurusin keluarga dan waktu piknik kita sedikit. Bahkan di hari itu juga, aku masih di bogor.

Padahal, udah pingin banget leyeh-leyeh aja sambil nunggu kak maul dan kak mithya. So, first note i took from that day "I was tired before drinking alcohol". Sebelum itu juga, udah banyakin makan karena udah diwanti-wanti jangan sampe laper atau perut kosong karena bikin cepet mabok.

Oke siap. Makan dari bogor yang banyak, sampe hotel mandi dan siap-siap mabok! I feel so badass saying "siap-siap mabok" LOL  

Sebelum ketemu kak maul dan kak mithya, aku baca mantra dulu

"Jangan mecahin sloki soalnya udah di-awas-aja-kalo-pecah-in sama yang punya, jangan nafsu, dinikmati karena baileys adalah alkohol mewah"

NORAK!!!!!! Ya norak ga norak. HAHAHA but seriously, it's hard to handle curiosity and you have no idea how to do it and it's good to have both kak mithya and kak maul

to do that big thing in my life.

Akhirnya mereka dateng juga ke hotel. Kita bingung nyari colokan usb buat HDD. Iya kan kita mau nonton film badass. The Descent lho! Kurang badass gimana Yuri nonton film horror. Luckily, Kaka maul juga ga demen nonton horror thriller. Jadi berasa punya temen. Dan bener sepanjang film diputer,  yang teriak blingsatan cuma kita berdua.

Walau udah teriak ga jelas, aku ga laper dong ya karena udah makan nasi dari bogor dan banyak. Kak maul dan kak mithya pesen mekdi dan aku cuma butuh air mineral karena masih kenyang Sebenarnya udah ditanyain berkali-kali

"yakin ga pesen?" "iya masih kenyang" sambil minum bir radler yang aku sama sekali ga suka sama rasanya.

Seriusan, ini kenapa kak mithya ngasih minum beginian. Berasa minum jamu difermentasi. Pahit, asem, bau. Argh! Gasuka sekali.

Minumannya aku agak lupa ada berapa, kayanya 3. Radler, Smirnoff dan Baileys yang botolnya separuh lebih kecil dari botol champagne yang biasa ada di podium F1 atau MOtoGP gitu. Sama kak mithya udah dijejerin, mungkin kaya diurutin gitu kali. Bailyes diminum terakhir. Dia bawa 3 sloki. Pokoknya aku dan kak maul udah kaya dua orang yang lagi main ke bar sambil nongkrong terus kak mithya bartendernya. Dia yang jelasin alkoholnya, dia yang nuang dengan penuh kebanggaan.

Alkohol pertama yang kita minum adalah Radler yang katanya sangat jamak ditemui alfamart dkk. Sleretnya kuning, mungkin rasa jeruk. Hmm. Enak kali. Minumnya pada langsung dari kaleng dan aku dari mug hotel. Aku senyum-senyum sendiri kaya abg ngebet gaul ketemu marlboro berasa cooooool dan badass banget. Tentu, aku ingat bahwa aku harus menikmati dan jangan nafsu.

Ingat, nikmatin aja Yur. Iyhaaa bhaiqueee.

Tapi aku masih menahan misuh-misuhku dan berakhir dengan

"kaaaak kok gaenak sih baunya gaenak" aku inget itu aku ngeluh sok imut sok tegar dengan semua rasa yang sangat menyiksa itu.

Nah, di sini karena aku yang paling kecil dan paling tidak berpengalaman dengan alkohol, aku yang paling keliatan kaya orang bego. Mereka berdua chill banget waktu minum radler yang baunya sumpah wallahi ga enak banget! Amit-amit jabang bayi, aku ga akan minum kaya gitu lagi!

Waktu minum Radler bingung juga sih. Ini seriusan ada manusia yang minum beginian? Gak ditutup hidungnya kalo minum? Aku mencoba menerima pelan-pelan.Oke, aku abisin.

Itu aku minum pake mug btw. Dikasih setengah mug dan kudu diabisn. Yaudah aku abisin.

dan kakak-kakak yang sangat berpengelaman itu ngingetin kalo masih level cupu karena persentasenya sangat rendah.

Kak maul kesenengan karena dia suka sama smirnoff merah. Katanya rasanya kaya fanta! Aku ikut seneng dong, akhirnya minum enak. Serius deh, minum radler setengah mug aja rasanya kaya bikin waktu berjalan sangat pelaaaaaaaaaaan sekali. It was a true torture for me! And i was so happy to finally have smirnoff.

Satu sloki buat aku, satu sloki buat kak maul. Aku lupa apakah kak mithya minum dari botolnya? Lupa dah.

Pokoknya kita satu sloki dulu.

EH ENAK DONG!WAH BENERAN KAYA FANTA, GUYS!!!!

Ini kaya dikasih obat batuk sama suster, diiming2i rasanya enak kok, rasa stroberi pasti dedek suka. Biasanya dedeknya pasang muka kaya ngelepeh-ngelepehin gitu kan.

Nah aku gitu juga.

Karena aku bukan dedek-dedek dan aku adalah perempuan yang beranjak menjadi wanita dewasa, aku kuat, ga aku lepehin, aku embrace rasa pait itu dan tentu aku ingat, aku harus menikmati pelan-pelan. Oke, bhaiqueeee. Aku nikmati.

Satu sloki, dua sloki, tiga sloki sampe kita bertiga ngabisin smirnoff.

Nah pas ngabisin itu aku udah agak bego. Srepet-srepet gitu tapi kak mithya dan kak maul masih seger guysssssssss. Ternyata bukan karena mereka udah pengalaman, tapi karena sambil makan mekdi. Aku nyesel ga order makanan soalnya kan aku ga pengen mabok duluan. Ya gimana yak, merasa masih kenyang dari bogor. Gatau kalo bakal bikin cepet mabok. Aku nyesel beneran.

Lalu sampailah pada sesi yang aku tunggu-tunggu.Baileys yang dari botolnya aja udah seksi banget. Waktu dituang, bau creamnya kecium banget. Gila enak banget! Mind blown. Otakku udah antisipasi sama paitnya alkohol. Gapapa lah. Beneran creamy banget rasanya, dan emang pait di tenggorokan tapi kaya kita tolerate gitu lhoh paitnya karena ketolong banget sama creamynya. Enak banget.

Pas udah agak mabok, aku masih bisa ngerasain enaknya minum Baileys. Dah pantes banget banyak yang suka.

Satu sloki, dua sloki, tiga sloki dan entah berapa slokiiii kita minum Baileys. Udah ketebak banget Yuri bakal jadi yang pertama yang paling bego. Okesipppp bener. Aku bego duluan. Udah susah banget mau ngomong apa. Rasanya aku mau bilang "kalian jangan pulang dulu dong, ngobrol yuk yang bener" tapi di setiap obrolan A-Z, aku jadi orang yang paling ga ngerti dan udah ga nyambung mau jawab apa. Rasanya tuh kaya kabel-kabel di kepala pada putus. Susah disambungin dan bikin sebel

Ya namanya juga mabok dih kok gatau.

Akhirnya kita sudahi permabokan malam itu. Dari abis ashar sampe malem, kita nonton film, ngobrol, mabok, harus disudahi karena aku udah teler duluan.

Walaupun susah ngomong tapi aku masih bisa ngetik. Aku agak panik karena pagi-pagi kudu ke bogor ambil oleh- oleh. Aku butuh bantuan dong. Masih chat sama kak mithya,

agak panik. Kenapa gini, kenapa gitu.

Pas dia ngomong gitu, aku yakin aku ga bakalan mati cuma karena mabok. Iya waktu itu aku takut mati OD alkohol. Lebay kan! Yaiya nakutin soalnya buat mengucap satu frasa aja susah apalagi kalimat. Kaya otakku gabisa kasih sinyal ke mulut tapi bisanya ke tangan. Semacam gagu sementara gitu lah. Bahkan, waktu mau ngobrol sama Ryuyang udah khawatir banget pacarnya mabok, juga susah. Aku mau ngomong sama dia "It's so good" aja gabisa. Soalnya laper dan mabok.

Akhirnya makan KFC. Lupa, udah gosok gigi dan cuci muka apa belom, aku keburu ambruk di kasur karena ngantuk banget.

Paginya, aku ngerasa lega bahkan sampai sekarang masih kerasa leganya. Kapan lagi? No, it's not lik something i have to be in rush to try this kind of thing. I take it as part of my journey. Dunia ini kompleks banget. Untuk mengerti bahwa alkohol ga semata-mata buat hura-hura aja ada prosesnya. Banyak hal yang belum aku tahu. Ada yang bisa aku tahu dan ada yangg enggak. Alkohol hanya salah satu.

Awalnya ngerasa so badass minum ini minum itu. Sebenernya bukan itu yang dicari. Ga ada rasa bangga sekecilpun dengan "udah pernah mabok" atau rasa sok keren minum baileys, minum smirnoff dll. Enggak. Aku ngerasa salah jika tetap berada di pemikiran yang seperti itu.

Part of journey so it's part of understanding. What's more important than understanding? Ive been surrounded by judgey and ignorant people. They're religious but having low tolerance to "sinner". Someone who'sdealing with alcohol must have reasons. I understand how it feels. I did "sins". I'd prolly be "murdered" by them if I got caught drinking and doing haram things.

We don't work alone. We work with people. People are not us. People are everyone with anything.

I'm sick of how my big families are so confident with how they deal with world without knowing exactly how universe works.

I don't think I know how it works, but I know what's good to deal with my own life. I need to understand. I need the details and that's why I try, A, B, C, D to Z. (I wish)

I feel im understanding how those drinks works. Sometimes, when you feel so dark and you need to be getting darker, alcohol will help. I just feel good. but I know it's not the only way to make me feel good when i am so down. Right? I'm glad to finally know how it tastes, how it feels, how it slowly changes my anxiety at that moment.

So, do I finally decide to choose alcohol to cope my mental health problems? Emmm, it's a humble no but it could be my recreational drink. LOL. I have my own theories and it might be "not practical" for some people, but I know how to do with my own theories for my own problem and it's not alcohol.

Red is honestly one of my favorites too. It was so easy to write (compared to apt) hahaha and although Sehun wasn’t a good character in it, I enjoyed the progression of how real the characters were? Like---this happens in real life and not all things end happily with rainbows and butterflies. It is a struggle to see a person go through something like this but it’s also a testament to their character and their willpower to walk away from it and say when they’ve had enough.
