the thing that bothers me about dragon riders is that the dragon absolutely does not have to let you climb on its back. your ability to 'ride' the dragon is entirely dependent on the dragon allowing you to do that. it could fly just fine without you sitting there. which means you are not a dragon rider, not really. that beast is not your pet. you're the dragon's pet. you're its trophy wife.

You know about the methods to check for bots? Well, how about the Cybertronians use something similar for humans encroaching their online spots?

Instead of a math question or a multiple choice thing about popular Golden Age celebrities, the 'bots take advantage of the humans' weirdness to go gaga over nonsentient things with a vague face.

The task is to click on the roomba and the screen is full of gadgets with glued on googly eyes. Then, the user needs to whittle it down to a regular roomba and a roomba with googly eyes.

(On a side note, there's been a rising trend of mecha stationed on Earth developing a similar view towards nonsentient items with faces.)

Do you have a favourite Huntress fight?🏹

honestly, it's so difficult to pick just a couple, because i love them all and i think she should get into fights more often, but!! off the top of my head!!!

lady shiva vs huntress in birds of prey vol 2 #6: this fight is perhaps the best one in history, i'm sorry but this fight lives in my head rent free. the way helena throws her blood in sandra's eyes and the way sandra gives her the iron owl title after the fight.

any time she's squaring up against batman, honestly, like YES GIRL PUNCH HIM AGAIN FOR ME 🥰 namely, i loved those moments of her beating him up in huntress: year one.

her fights in batman: hush, to be honest; when she soloed all of those thugs in the area to help out a very injured bruce, and later on, when huntress is fighting catwoman, but helena isn't in her right mind and she's actually just imagining selina to be herself. i don't see people talk about this fight a lot, but i genuinely think there are so many rich implications of helena, influenced by fear toxins, imagining selina as herself.

in huntress: year one, when she finally reclaims her cross and cuts off the bastard's tongue. yeah.

when she shot an explosive bolt at clayface's private area in birds of prey: progeny. also in the same collection: when she was say "how the only threat in here is the bad coffee" in the hospital to babs, some henchmen crash in through the window at that exact time, and SHE JUST THROWS THE COFFEE IN THEIR FACES.

when helena defeats archer braun, a dude who can predict his opponents' thoughts and matches, in birds of prey: manhunt by saying jabberwocky to take him by surprise. god, was that fight intense but did she do it.

when she fought a member of the new olympians in justice league unlimited #20, and she insulted that member's dogs 😭😭
