Th1s happened when 1 was n1ne sweeps 0ld, 1n d0wnt0wn Altern1a. And 1t t00k place 1n a l1ttle place called the “Salt and Pepper D1ner”.

Wh1ch was a w0nderful fam1ly restaurant 1n the c1ty, wh1ch means 1t caters t0 ma1nly teenagers, and h0meless sch1z0phren1cs. N0w, 1 g0 1nt0 th1s place 0ne day, when 1'm n1ne, w1th my best fr1end Br1gan.

We walk 1nt0 the Salt and Pepper d1ner 0ne day, and they had a jukeb0x there, alr1ght? And the jukeb0x, was three plays f0r a caeger. S0, we put 1n seven caegers, and selected 21 plays 0f T0m J0nes' "What's new pussycat"!

-He laughs-

And then we 0rdered, and wa1ted.

Here's the th1ng, ab0ut when "What's New Pussycat" plays, 0ver and 0ver and 0ver aga1n: The sec0nd t1me 1t plays, y0u're 1mmed1ate th0ught 1s n0t, "Hey! S0me0nes play1ng ‘Whats's New Pussycat’ aga1n."

1t's, "Hey... What's New Pussycat 1s a l0t l0nger than 1 f1rst th0ught, and 1t has l1ke... a d1p, 1n the m1ddle."

Y0u kn0w h0w s0me s0ngs have a- a d1p, l1ke "Gun's and r0ses", "N0vember ra1n", and y0u’re l1ke, “Hey!! N0vember ra1n's 0ver!!"

-He snickered-

"N0 1t's n0t... There's m0re."

The th1rd t1me 1t plays, y0u’re th1nking, "Maybe s0me0ne's play1ng ‘What's New Pussycat’ aga1n."

The f0urth t1me 1t plays, y0u’re th1nk1ng... "W0AH!! S0me0ne just played ‘What's New Pussycat’ f0ur t1mes!” 0r at least, “S0me0ne played 1t tw1ce, but 1t’s really l0ng s0ng.”

The f1fth t1me 1s the k1cker.

N0w we're watch1ng the ent1re d1ner at th1s p01nt. M0st people have g0tten w1nd as t0 what's g01ng 0n, and we're star1ng at th1s 0ne guy.

He's s1tt1ng 1n h1s b00th, and h1s l1ke, hand 1s shak1ng, wh1le h1s stup1d wr1gglers jump ar0und.

And l1ke, he's been 0nt0 us s1nce the beg1nn1ng, and he's star1ng at h1s c0ffee cup l1ke th1s-

L1ke he just g0t h1s th1rty day ch1p fr0m anger management, y0u kn0w? And he's star1ng l1ke th1s, and the f0urth play fades 0ut...

1t's dead qu1et...

And then, 1 d0n’t kn0w 1f y0u kn0w th1s... But the s0ng beg1ns very suddenly...

“BWUAAH BWUA00H!! WHAT'S NEW PUSSYCAT?!"

And the guy g0es-

“G00000DDAMM1T!!!!”

And p0unds 0n the table, and s1lverwear fl1es everywhere-

And 1t was faaaantast1c!

But a w0rd ab0ut my fr1end Br1gan, and what a gen1us he was. Because, when we were f1rst up at the jukeb0x, and when we were punch1ng in the "What's New Pussycat’s”, 1 punched 1n ab0ut seven, and then Br1gan says t0 me, "Hey, hey, hey wa1t... Bef0re we dr0p 1n an0ther “What's New Pussycat”, let's put 1n 0ne "1t's n0t unusual".”

And that 1s when the aftern00n went fr0m G00D, t0 GREAT!!

After seven "What's New Pussycat"s 1n a r0w ...Suddenly:

"Dum ts nunum ts dum ts nunununununum! It's not unusual!!"

And the s1gh 0f rel1ef, that swept thr0ugh the d1ner!! Pe0ple were ECSTAT1C!!! 1t was l1ke the l1berat10n 0f East Altern1a!!

-He laughs again-

Y0u kn0w f0r years, sc1ent1sts have w0ndered, "Can y0u make gr0wn men and w0men weep tears 0f j0y, by play1ng T0m J0nes' “1t's N0t Unusual"?”

And the answer 1s “Yes!! Y0u can!!” As l0ng as 1t's pr0ceeded by seven “Whats New Pussycat"s!!

And 0n the 0ther hand-! When we went back... H0ly Sh1t!

"1t's n0t unusual" fades 0ut... 1t's dead qu1et...

"BWaAaAh Bw0a!!! WHAT'S NEW PUSSYCAT?!?"

Pe0ple went fuck1ng 1nsane! N0 0ne c0uld handle 1t! N0 0ne c0uld handle 1t!

And they were surr0unded by th1s l1ke, seem1ngly 1nd1fferent staff?! That was just l1ke, "Yep, same sh1t as always."

My 0NLY w1sh 1s that 0ne 0f the sch1z0phren1cs st00d up and have been l1ke, "N_w Y_U kn_w!! N_w Y_U kn_w, what it is lik- t_ liv- in my brain!"

-He cackles-

They unplugged the jukeb0x, after eleven plays.

And THAT was the best meal 1've ever had.

Wilburs necklace is one of Phil’s feathers (actually all feathers used in the dream catchers or any thing else are Phil’s feathers) but dyed.

Phil occasionally looses his feathers and sometimes hands them out to whomever wants them. Techno and Wilbur use them to add to their stuff!

Wilburs necklace is special to him

Can you please talk about the Dreamer AU? I have some fanart planned but i wanma know more about it becaus eits funky ekdbdkwkjs -kidcorygamer

Here’s a bunch of stuff about the au. Might make a master post sometime.

Basically, the three are mythical entities referenced in an old mythology but have existed as long as humankind was able to dream. No one religiously believes in the mythology nowadays but the three still exist and do what they were created to do.

They used to be seen as gods or deities but nowadays they are more seen like something like the tooth fairy or something.

Having a bad dream? The Dream Guardians will save you from the monsters within your nightmares. They are a story to tell people to help them feel safe at night.

But,,, those are just myths right? They don’t really exist, right??

However, of course, that’s a lie. They do exist and they are the guardians of dreams.

In nightmares, there are these shadow monsters (they sill need a name). These monsters can transform and change into anything to fit people’s nightmares. The guardians jobs are to find the monsters in people’s dreams and slay them.

- Techno’s dream catcher is in the form of a sword. The handle has the classic dream catcher design and a feather at the end. He uses his sword to slice through the dream monsters.

- Phil’s dream catcher is in the form of his hat. The dream catcher design is at the top. He puts his hat on top of monsters to defeat them.

- Wilbur’s dream catcher is probably my favorite. It’s in the form of a wand that turns into a guitar. He lures monsters to him by playing music then wacks them upside the head with the wand.

After they defeat the dream monsters they replace the nightmares with good dreams. Phil and techno focus on making cool, fun, and happy dreams. Wilbur goes feral and gives dreams that make ZERO sense whatsoever. When people wake up feeling “what the actual hell was that dream???” They were most likely visited by Wilbur.

Another thing is that they also enjoy creating dreams for fun. They don’t have to defeat a nightmare to create a dream. Sometimes they show up in people’s dreams just to vibe and maybe cause some kindhearted chaos.

Another thing is that in their mythology, Phil is depicted as bird (usually a dove but any bird) with large wings. Wilbur is depicted as some sort of sea creature (most commonly a Cod fish) and Techno is a wild boar.

Are other streamers/yters also able to be dreamcatcher gods/deities? Or is the Dream Team the only three gods left?

This au is about sleepyboisinc (cause sleepy bois be,,, dreamin).

However currently the two other people in this au are Tommy (Tommyinnit) and Kristin (misstrixtin). They are not dream guardians though. Just normal humans who dream.

Tommy and Kristin noticed that the guardians were a bit too ‘real’ in their dreams. They learned quickly that the myth of the dream guardians were actually real and that they save and create dreams.

Umm, may I ask a (rather silly) question? H-how did Wilbur get around when he was portrayed as an animal (yk—being a fish n all)? Did he happen t-to perhaps grow legs?

The guardians don’t have a physical form and are only seen in dreams and dreams (especially if Wilbur is invovled) will always be weird. He could be a fish floating in the air for all we know akshdkf

But in reality, Wilbur was mostly seen in water (if he was ever noticed at all).

Picture a setting: There’s a lake and at the edge of the lake there’s a boar and a bird. In the lake, there’s a fish! The nightmarish Skia monsters seem to dissolve into a shadow whenever they get close to the three animals. Those animals must be the dream guardians

Another thing is that no matter what the guardians are seen as, that isn’t how they actually are. They have no true form or purest version of them. And how they are seen are based off of people’s perceptions and ideas of how they look.

However,,, Wilbur fish with legs is cursed and I can totally see him causing dream chaos by running around as a fish in someone’s dream.

....Maybe that dream is the true nightmare..
