"Oh..." The word is breathed out softly as he looks her over, sinking his teeth into his lower lip thoughtfully. He couldn't sense it, that there was some otherness to her. He just saw her. And when people were running around, possessed by demons making a mess of the town? He had seen it in them. Dark entities just beneath the surface with cruel, twisted smiles. At least, that was how he remembered it.
Would they see that in him? The thought sent a shiver down his spine. No, no. It was different. The same, but different.
"Um, that makes sense," he finally says after realizing he'd been standing there dumbly for a moment too long without saying anything. "I guess I don't really know what it feels like...but...do you feel differently? Than before? I mean...I guess you probably would either way..." His eyes flick over towards the books on the shelves she was looking over. "Maybe a witch could tell you? If we can't find anything in here, anyway."
A bunch of demons? Oh, God. Is that why she ended up here? In this little town she had never heard of? Was there still something in her that the demon had a hold on? Had it brought her here to try and...meet other demons? Even if this person thought they were all taken care of now... Could he know that? Could anyone? They told Robby hers was all taken care of, after all.
At least she can answer honestly, when he asks. He won't think she's crazy, if half the town had been possessed. "I was possessed. Before I came here. They exorcised it but...I just want to make sure it's really gone." She needs to be sure it's really gone.

Kinktober 2024: Free Space
Last Kinktober piece! We did it! 31 days of prompts! 31 days of porn with plot, though it wasn't supposed to be with plot. We broke 90k words written for the month! Whooo!!!
Ship: Veronique "V"/Jackie Welles Content Warning: cunnilingus, p in v, jessica rabbit costume, sass Length: 1.8k
Veronique had argued with Jackie about what to wear for the Halloween party that Lizzie’s bar was hosting. She had hoped to do matching costumes, but he let it slip he was taking his mom because she wanted to see Judy. Mama Welles had practically adopted Judy after they liberated Clouds. V agreed Jackie could match with his mom and she’d find something else to dress up as. That’s when she turned to Judy who had an idea for her.
“I haven’t watched this movie since I was a kid. You sure about this Judy?” Veronique asked as Judy helped zip her into the dress. Her hair was all wrong for the outfit so the wig fit snug against her head for it.
“Your proportions were meant for this V. Jackie is going to swallow his tongue when he sees you sauntering out. I let the moxx know to help keep an eye on anyone trying to come onto you,” Judy said as she studied the sequined dress.
“Why?” V asked with suspicion in her sky blue eyes. Judy grinned.
“Because I don’t need Jessica Rabbit throwing some dude through the wall because he tried to cop a feel.” Veronique laughed at the mental image that brought up. She agreed it wouldn’t be the best look either. “Not to mention if Jackie sees someone hit on you.” Judy nodded as she grinned. “Now to put my costume on.”
“Just a pair of bunny ears Judy?” V asked sarcastically.
“Hey, and a bowtie.” V arched an eyebrow but agreed Judy looked cute. “Now we match.”
“Hahaha, Jessica Rabbit and her darling wife Roberta Rabbit.” Judy flashed her a cheeky grin and they both headed up the stairs towards the lounge. The moxx let Judy through and nodded towards V.
“Lookin’ good there, V. Judy, nice choice in costumes.” Judy waved towards one of them and V grinned as they headed out into the main lounge room. V’s eyes scanned the room and immediately spotted Jackie standing in the corner with his mother.
“You see him yet?” Judy asked, handing over the cocktail she’d acquired to V. V nodded and pointed them out. “Good, let’s go.” Judy headed over first with V following slowly behind her.
“Judy, hello my dear girl. How are you?” Mama Welles asked warmly when Judy approached. She smiled at Mama Welles and returned the hug. “Are you a rabbit? What a cute costume,” she said and Judy grinned.
“I’m actually wearing a matching costume. V’s right behind me,” Judy said, jerking her thumb over her shoulder. Mama Welles looked over her shoulder and barely stopped the chuckle from escaping as she saw V’s costume. She cast a glance towards her son and knew the second he spotted his girlfriend.
“Will you show me to the bar? I’m awfully thirsty,” Mama Welles asked Judy. Judy saw how still Jackie went and grinned.
“Sure thing Mama Welles. I can see you’re not the only thirsty one here.” Judy held out her arm for Mama Welles and off they went to the bar. Veronique waved as they passed, grinning broadly at Mama Welles.
“You are evil to that poor boy V.” Veronique just laughed as Mama Welles patted her arm. “He needs you to keep him humble.” With that, V turned towards her boyfriend. She sauntered over to him, making sure the dress parted just right when she moved. Veronique paused when her heels bumped against his boots, letting her hands trail up his jacket tugging at his collar before falling away.
“Enjoying the party?” V asked amused as Jackie’s eyes dipped down. Judy had sprinkled a dash of body glitter to her cleavage to make her tits even more noticeable. She leaned in until they brushed the front of his favorite jacket.
“Dios, V what are you wearing?” Jackie whispered hoarsely. He was sure all the blood had left his brain and he was scrambling for words.
“Hmm? What am I wearing?” V turned in the dress and his mouth went dry at the way the red sequined fabric clung to her like a second skin. Her ass was loving hugged and her breasts… Jackie would die a happy man knowing he got to see her in this outfit. “I’m Jessica Rabbit.” His knuckles grazed the neckline of the dress, swallowing nervously when her nipples beaded.
“And I get to be Roger Rabbit?” Jackie asked, leaning in. To his surprise she took a step back with a cheeky grin.
“That position has already been taken tonight good sir.” She made sure to thicken up her twang, she knew how that drove him wild. “I’d best go find my wife for the evening.”
“Wait, V. You’re serious?” Jackie asked, clamoring to keep her by his side. V’s eyes twinkled with mischief. He knew he was cooked now.
“Well, I did ask you if you wanted to have a couple’s costume with me Jackie.” V grinned as he groaned and mumbled something in his native tongue. “Well, yes. You are a horse’s ass for not listening to me.” She kissed his cheek before melting into the crowd. V was proud of the bright red lipstick print on his cheek; she hoped he wouldn’t notice for a while.
For the rest of the night, V kept giving Jackie the slip when he’d get too close. Judy and Mama Welles were enjoying watching V lead him on a chase. “I’d almost feel sorry for my son, but I told him to go with V to this party. He insisted on taking his mama, and now he pays for it.”
“I know what you mean. When V told me her plan, I couldn’t help but want to be on board for it. I wish Jackie all the luck in the world.” Judy chuckled as V slipped past the moxx whispering something to them. “Looks like the game is ended. Come on Mama Welles, I’ll show you my set up downstairs.”
“That would be lovely Judy.”
Private Room
V grinned as she lounged on the soft cushioned couch that took up most of the room. Veronique took the wig off and sighed as her scalp tingled. Her hair fell to her shoulders, as blue as the sky above Night City at noon. She waited patiently and wasn’t disappointed when Jackie showed up a few moments later. “Hello Jackie.”
Jackie paused in the doorway to take in the image in front of him. V, lounging in that killer dress, legs crossed and exposed as the dress fell away from them, her hair falling down her shoulders. He swallowed as his dick twitched in his pants. He quickly shut the door behind him before anyone else could see her like this. He knelt in front of her, running his hands along her legs, groaning at how easily they parted for him. Only for him. He’d seen V clock one guy for trying to grab her ass. Only he was allowed this close, and it humbled him at times. To be the only one she trusted this much.
“I’m sorry, mi vida.” Jackie leaned forward to rest his chin against her breasts grinning unabashedly at her.
“Sure you are,” she retorted with the same mischief in her eyes. “Maybe you can show me just how sorry you are?” Jackie froze at her words, his fingers digging into her hips at the images that flashed through his mind.
“Yes ma’am,” he murmured leaning in. V’s head fell back against the couch cushion when his tongue flattened against her clit through the fabric. Her fingers tangled in his hair at the heat spiraling through her. Whimpers and soft moans spilled out of her with each slow stroke of his tongue against her. Her lips parted on his name slowly shifting into a rapid litany as her back bowed. The heat consumed her mind and she scrambled for that climax.
“Jackie.” She switched between English and creole as he drove her higher and higher. Her body coiled tight, ready to burst. His fingers pushed inside her body and curled just right. Veronique cried out his name as it snapped inside of her. He groaned against her clit as her body squeezed his fingers with each pulse of heat inside of her. Jackie eased back when her thighs went slack around his head and shoulders.
They both looked over his shoulder at the raucous laughter spilling in from the party. V wanted to flush in embarrassment, but all she could think of was getting Jackie’s cock inside of her. Jackie slowly stood and plopped down next to V, and she wasted no time. His hands grabbed her hips to stop her from grinding on him. “V. Don’t. I didn’t.”
Veronique grabbed up her small clutch and pulled out the foil square. “But I did.” He was stunned but V didn’t waste any time. Her fingers had his pants falling open and his cock in her hand. He didn’t know when she’d pulled off her gloves but he was thankful to feel her warmth against his. His head fell back with each slow stroke and squeeze. V knew exactly how to tease and torment him. V grinned and rolled the condom on easily and he gave her a look. “What? You can’t complain.” She pressed her lips to his before sinking slowly down onto his cock. She moaned at the stretch of him inside of her. She always felt so full when he fucked her. She also knew how much he hated it when she went slow, which was exactly what she did.
Jackie’s hands squeezed her hips urging her to go faster silently. V merely nibbled at his jaw, maintaining the gentle rocking of her hips against his. He clenched his jaw before flipping them. V gasped when her back hit the cushions.
“My turn chica.” V’s back bowed as he hit deep inside of her. His hips moved against hers in a brutal pace that had her toes curling in pleasure. He made sure to drag against her clit with each thrust, sending her closer and closer to another orgasm. Needy moans spilled from her lips with each thrust against her. Jackie captured her lips to taste them on her lips. His hips stuttered and V knew he was close.
“Please Jackie,” she whispered against his lips. His forehead dropped to her shoulder as he shuddered over her. Veronique squeezed his hips with her thighs as she felt his cock twitching inside. “Hmm.” Her lips brushed over his cheek.
“So, did I earn your forgiveness?” Jackie asked hoarsely. He didn’t want to pull away yet, he loved staying this close to her. He felt connected to her in so many ways, and he’d never want to give that up.
“I think you maybe did. You can spend the night at my place and we can talk more about forgiveness after.” V grinned as Jackie laughed against her shoulder.
“Alright chica. I think I’d like that.”

Fem! Robert E.O. Speedwagon x Fem Reader
With "I'm Not Trying to be Clingy, I Just can't stand to be away from you." And "I took your hoodie - it smells like you."
227. “I took your hoodie—it smells like you.”
239. “I’m not trying to be clingy, I just can’t stand to be away from you.” (Yandere! Fem! Robert E. O. Speedwagon x Fem! S/o)
It all started when (Y/n) bought that stupid painting from the thrift store. She’d gone into the shop looking for something to brighten up her new apartment. Along the numerous knickknacks already covered in dust, wedged in a corner where it was near impossible to see… she found that strange portrait.
The subject of this peculiar piece was a young woman with gorgeous blonde hair that framed her face and stretched down over her shoulders. One might have called her beautiful if not for the large scar stretched diagonally across one cheek. Intrigued by the image of the blonde woman (Y/n) asked the store owner who she was. Regrettably, the man had no idea, yet he was more than willing to sell the portrait to the young woman for dirt cheap.
Little did she know that the painting was cursed. The spirit of its subject, Miss Roberta E. O. Speedwagon, had died an unhappy spinster over a century ago. Instead of passing into the afterlife free of regrets, her soul had remained stubbornly fixed in the mortal realm and her painting. Various people had owned the portrait over the past hundred years and every one of them had died by Roberta’s hand.
Normally when her painting was put into its new home, it was only a matter of hours before Roberta would begin plotting to kill the person who’d dared to claim her portrait as their property. However this time… this time it was different. There was something about (Y/n) that made her ghostly heart race despite having not beat for over a century.
There was no doubt about it, she was in love. She longed to reveal herself to (Y/n), and live in domestic bliss. However, she understood that showing her ghostly form would surely cause her darling girl such an awful fright. For a time Roberta was able to content herself with merely watching her love going about her day-to-day life. When her desire for (Y/n) started to become unbearable she would steal various objects bearing her beloved maiden’s scent. Sadly such an arrangement could not go on forever. No matter how careful she was, Roberta was eventually caught by (Y/n).
“W-w-who are you?” (Y/n) said gawking at the semi-translucent figure standing guilty in her bedroom with one of her hoodies clutched to its chest.
“Don’t you recognize my face? You see it every day when you wake up” Roberta replied shyly gesturing to her painting hanging on the wall nearby. (Y/n)’s eyes slowly moved to the painting, then back to the ghostly figure, and then to the painting once more.
“How… why… why do you look like the lady from my painting!” (Y/n) said indignantly. Her mind was racing, trying to find a logical answer to this bizarre situation.
“How? Because I am your lady from the painting. After all, wouldn't it be strange if I didn't look like my portrait?” Roberta said with a small laugh.
“You can't be Roberta E. O. Speedwagon! She died over a hundred years ago!” (Y/n) replied with even more indignation. After hanging the painting in her home, she had delved into researching the bewitching blonde depicted on the canvas.
“Yes I did die, and I was so lonely… so lonely for so many many years” the ghostly maiden replied, her cheeks flushing with delight at the knowledge her beloved had taken the time to find out her name. “But now I have you, and I am no longer lonely! Well except when you have to go to work… that's why I took your hoodie—it smells like you and it helps me be patient” she added after a moment of quiet reverence. (Y/n) did not respond, instead starting to back away from the spirit and eying the door with the intent to run for it.
“Sorry was that too much? I’m not trying to be clingy, I just can’t stand to be away from you” Roberta said suddenly advancing on the young woman and taking her into her arms. “I know this is all a lot to take in but I only want the best for you. I love you so much… please believe me” she added imploringly and squeezing (Y/n) tightly. The joy she felt in this moment was so great that if she wasn't dead already, she might have just passed away from jubilation right then and there.
The maiden within her grasp began to shiver, both from fear and from the natural chill of being embraced by a ghost. (Y/n) could not even begin to articulate her despair or her disgust at what was unfolding at the moment. Yet she did not resist, for she knew through her research into Roberta that the people who owned her portrait had always died a gruesome death. She did not want to become the next casualty of the cursed painting and its undead occupant…

John Schlesinger umożliwia jej zdobycie wspomnianego bogactwa i sławy. Pozwala zakosztować jej świata luksusu i oślepia ją blaskiem fleszy. Wpuszcza ją na salony, a w finale pozostawia samą sobie. Nagą i bezbronną. Bez celu.

LUCY BUYS WESTINGHOUSE
Summer 1958
Cast
Lucille Ball (Herself) was born on August 6, 1911 in Jamestown, New York. She began her screen career in 1933 and was known in Hollywood as ‘Queen of the B’s’ due to her many appearances in ‘B’ movies. With Richard Denning, she starred in a radio program titled “My Favorite Husband” which eventually led to the creation of “I Love Lucy,” a television situation comedy in which she co-starred with her real-life husband, Latin bandleader Desi Arnaz. The program was phenomenally successful, allowing the couple to purchase what was once RKO Studios, re-naming it Desilu. When the show ended in 1960 (in an hour-long format known as “The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour”) so did Lucy and Desi’s marriage. In 1962, hoping to keep Desilu financially solvent, Lucy returned to the sitcom format with “The Lucy Show,” which lasted six seasons. She followed that with a similar sitcom “Here’s Lucy” co-starring with her real-life children, Lucie and Desi Jr., as well as Gale Gordon, who had joined the cast of “The Lucy Show” during season two. Before her death in 1989, Lucy made one more attempt at a sitcom with “Life With Lucy,” also with Gordon, which was not a success and was canceled after just 13 episodes.
Desi Arnaz (Himself) was born in Cuba in 1917 and immigrated to America as a youngster. He was a musician who married Lucille Ball in 1940 after meeting her on the set of 1939’s Too Many Girls, which he had done on stage in New York. In order to keep him ‘off the road’ Ball convinced producers to cast him as her husband in a new television project based on her radio show “My Favorite Husband.” The network was convinced. In 1951, Arnaz and Ball began playing Lucy and Ricky Ricardo, roles they would be identified with for the rest of their lives. The couple had two children together, Lucie and Desi Jr. In 1960, Ball and Arnaz divorced. Desi became a producer, responsible for such hits as “The Mothers-in-Law” (1967-69). He re-married in 1963. Desi Aranz died in 1986, just a few years before Ball.
William Frawley (Himself) was already a Hollywood veteran when he was hired by Desi Arnaz to play Fred Mertz on “I Love Lucy.” After the series concluded he joined the cast of “My Three Sons” playing Bub Casey. He did an episode of “The Lucy Show” in October 1965 which was his final TV appearance before his death in March 1966.
Vivian Vance (Herself) was born Vivian Roberta Jones in Cherryvale, Kansas in 1909, although her family quickly moved to Albuquerque, New Mexico where she was raised. She had extensive theatre experience, co-starring on Broadway with Ethel Merman in “Anything Goes.” She was acting in a play in Southern California when she was spotted by Desi Arnaz and hired to play Ethel Mertz, Lucy Ricardo’s neighbor and best friend. The pairing is credited with much of the success of “I Love Lucy.” Vance was convinced to join the cast of “The Lucy Show” in 1962, but stayed with the series only through season three, making occasional guest appearances afterwards. She made a total of six appearance on “Here’s Lucy.” She also joined Lucy for a TV special “Lucy Calls the President” in 1977. Vance died two years later.
Ross Elliott (Mr. Hayden, Westinghouse Executive) played the director of Lucy’s famous Vitameatavegamin commercial in 1952. He played Ross, Ricky’s publicity agent in three other episodes. From 1961 to 1964 he played another TV director on “The Jack Benny Program.” He played a film director in “Lucy and the Return of Iron Man” (TLS S4;E11) in 1965. His final appearance with Lucille Ball was “Lucy, The Sheriff” (HL S6;E18) in 1974.
Hazel Pierce (Extra on the Tijuana Street Set) was Lucille Ball’s camera and lighting stand-in throughout “I Love Lucy.” She also made frequent appearances on the show. She went on to make several on-camera appearances on “The Lucy Show.” Pierce was an uncredited extra in the film Forever Darling (1956).
Alan Roberts (Mexican Boy) was born Alan Costello. Also in 1958, he appeared on "Leave it to Beaver” as a Spanish boy who is befriends by the Beaver. His last screen credit was in 1965 and he died in 2008 at the age of 59.
Although only seen from the back here, Roberts has a supporting role in “Lucy Goes to Mexico.”
Bennett Green (Voice of the Director) was Desi Arnaz’s camera and lighting stand-in during “I Love Lucy.” He also made frequent appearances on the show as well as on “The Lucy Show.”
Roy Rowan (Announcer) was the announcer for all Lucille Ball's sitcoms and also made occasional on-camera appearances.
Extras from the Tijuana Street scene of “Lucy Goes To Mexico” (LDCH S2;E1).
"Lucy Buys Westinghouse" (working title) is a promotional film intended for network affiliates and the Westinghouse dealers when Desilu partnered with the company for the “Westinghouse Desilu Playhouse” series. This was an anthology series that presented a different story each week. “The Westinghouse Desilu Playhouse” ran from 1958 to 1960 and each episodes was introduced by Desi Arnaz, standing in front of a show curtain (a stipulation of Westinghouse’s sponsorship). Lucy and Desi also sometimes participated in the Westinghouse commercials, hosted by Betty Furness. This series notably gave birth to “The Untouchables,” which was later picked-up by Desilu for a full series, as well as “The Twilight Zone.” Like “I Love Lucy,” the series originally aired on Monday nights.
“Lucy Buys Westinghouse” is the film’s unofficial title for reference purposes. It should not imply that Lucy buys the Westinghouse Corporation, just Westinghouse products.
It would also present “The Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour” (originally titled “The Lucille Ball-Desi Arnaz Show”) which continued the escapades of the Ricardos and the Mertzes after the cancellation of “I Love Lucy” in 1957. The first five of the hour-long series' 13 episodes were run as specials, sponsored by Ford.
Westinghouse Electric Corporation was founded on January 8, 1886 by its founder George Westinghouse (1846–1914). The corporation purchased CBS in 1995.
There are no opening or closing credits, but it is likely that the film was directed by Jerry Thorpe and written by Bob Schiller and Bob Weiskopf, the team responsible for all the “Lucy-Desi Comedy Hours” during seasons 2 and 3. The “I Love Lucy” theme music is used.
Lucille Ball is referred to as Mrs. Arnaz, the only time she is ever called by her married name on film. Vivian Vance and William Frawley portray themselves, although like Lucy, their characters behave more like their fictional counterparts than the actors themselves. The half hour film includes footage of “Lucy Goes to Mexico” being filmed at Desilu Studios.
Desi Arnaz gives a representative of Westinghouse a tour of Desilu Studios (actually three studio properties) while Lucy tries to secretly place orders with him for Westinghouse products. The Gower Street studio was formerly owned by RKO and with the purchase came all the props and costumes, and stock film from its earlier productions.
The film was originally shot in black and white and included on a video titled “Lucy's Lost Episodes.” When the film was included on an “I Love Lucy” DVD as a bonus feature, it was colorized. It was never broadcast on television in its entirety and it is not known if it was ever used for the purpose it was intended. The film occasionally uses a laugh track.
At the start of the film, Lucy is sitting at Desi's desk, looking through the Westinghouse catalog.
Lucy: “I was just reading about the all-new mobile speed Westinghouse vacuum cleaner. It's a dilly!”
Desi's office is decorated with photographs of his children, Lucie and Desi Jr., as well as their Emmy Awards and other memorabilia. Lucy makes fun of the way Desi says 'Westinghouse' as 'Westin-Gouse'. He then calls their spokes people Betty Furness and John Cameron Swayze 'Betty Furnace' and 'John Cameron Sweezie'.
Desi mentions to Mr. Hayden the list of prestigious writers who want to join the Desilu team: Aaron Spelling, Rod Serling, Adrian Spies, and Garsin Kanin. Aaron Spelling directed “The Night the Phone Rang” which (coincidentally) starred Ross Elliott (Mr. Hayden). Aaron Spelling had appeared on “I Love Lucy” and in 1986 convinced Lucille Ball to return to television with her last series, “Life With Lucy.” Rod Serling directed “The Time Element” which eventually led to his series “The Twilight Zone.” New Jersey native Adrian Spies directed six installments, including “So Tender, So Profane” starring Desi Arnaz. There is no record of Garsin Kanin ever writing for the “Westinghouse Desilu Playhouse” series.
Desi says that the first show will be “Bernadette” (“Song of Bernadette”) adapted by Ludi Claire, who also adapted “The Bridge on San Luis Rey.” Desi is referring to the 1958 television adaptation of “San Luis Rey,” not the 1944 feature film.
When Bill Frawley and Vivian Vance drop by to invite the Arnaz's to lunch at the commissary, Desi offers to pay in order to get Lucy out of his hair during the tour.
Bill: “Oh, no you don't. This is my treat. Fred Mertz might be a tightwad, but not Bill Frawley.” Vivian: “Oh, well, in that case Bill, we'll go to Romanoffs.” Bill: “Romanoffs?” Vivian: “Okay, Fred Mertz, we'll go to the commissary.”
Romanoffs was a classy Hollywood restaurant that was mentioned several times on “I Love Lucy.” Not surprisingly, it was also a favorite dining spot of the Arnaz's. Romanoffs became known for their chocolate souffles and Noodles Romanoff. The landmark eatery closed for good on New Year’s Eve 1962, although the famous noodles can still be found in your frozen food case thanks to Stouffers.
Vivian: “Let's eat. I'm starved.” Bill: “Okay, Ethel.” Vivian: “The name is Vivian.” Bill: “The name may be Vivian, but the appetite is Ethel.”
Desi and Mr. Hayden depart for their studio tour and Lucy recruits Vivian and Bill to help her with her plans to get Westinghouse appliances for her dressing room.
Vivian: “Is this a plot to put something over on Desi?” Lucy: “Well...” Bill: “As Betty Furness would say, 'You can be sure, if it's Lucy.'”
Betty Furness (1916-94) was the product spokesperson for Westinghouse's television commercials. She would conclude with their slogan “You can be sure, if it's Westinghouse.”
Desi conducts the first part of the studio tour via helicopter. They first fly over Desilu Gower, so named because it was located on Gower Avenue. They then hover over Desilu Motion Picture Center, a flew blocks away. This was where “I Love Lucy” was filmed from 1953.
Then they fly to Desilu Culver, located in Culver City, also known as Forty Acres due to its size. This is where MGM made Gone with the Wind. They fly over a destroyed Tara, twenty years after the film was made.
Once they land, Vivian and Bill distract Desi while Lucy (disguised as a helicopter mechanic) approaches Mr. Hayden to order appliances. She doesn't get very far before Desi returns.
Desi shows Hayden some painters working on the cave set for their “Song of Bernadette” starring Pier Angeli. The same set was later re-purposed for an episode of “Star Trek.” Vivian asks to speak to Desi privately, while Bill directs Mr. Hayden to talk to the 'man' on the ladder. Lucy is disguised as one of the painters. Once again, Lucy is interrupted when Desi returns.
Desi: (to Vivian) “Are you crazy or somethin'?” Bill: “What's the matter?” Desi: “Vivian wants to play Bernadette.” Bill: “That would be a miracle.”
Next, they visit the Tijuana Street set that will be used for “Lucy Goes To Mexico.” A director's voice shouts for quiet on the set, and they get to watch a scene being shot. This scene (where a zebra cart stalls traffic in the street) is directly from the “Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour.” Because it briefly features Lucille Ball, Bill Frawley, and Vivian Vance (who are supposedly standing nearby watching the scene being shot with Desi), the scene must have been shot prior to the filming of “Lucy Buys Westinghouse” and inserted later. Even Lucy can’t be in two places at once!
Desi mentions that all the “Lucy-Desi Comedy Hour” Westinghouse commercials will be themed to tie into the show. For “Lucy Goes To Mexico” the theme is fiesta.
Westinghouse merchants will receive fiesta themed signage and other promotional materials.
Unbeknownst to them, Lucy is right behind them disguised as a window display mannequin in a sombrero and serape. Through the use of pantomime (Ball's favorite skill) she orders a 21” television from Mr. Hayden.
During a visit to the props department, William Frawley discovers a model he says is King Kong. In fact, it is actually from Mighty Joe Young (1949). Lucy is then discovered by Hayden hiding in a gorilla costume. Because Lucy's dialogue is crystal clear beneath the gorilla mask (and there is a slight delay in the gorilla's corresponding actions), it is likely that Ball was not actually inside the costume.
Back in Desi's office, he tells Hayden that actor George Murphy is vice president of public affairs for Desilu and will act as their Westinghouse good will ambassador. Murphy had done four films with Lucille Ball, including A Girl, A Guy, and a Gob (1941, above).
Desi discovers that Lucy's dressing room is crowded with new Westinghouse appliances including a pink roaster, a mint green blender, a 21” television set, and a powder blue electric dryer - with Lucy hiding inside it!
Desi: (to viewers) “Well, we'll see you in October, folks. If she's dry by then.”

Oh wow! This is the first time someone tag me into anything and I’m really excited!! Thanks @feysandrowlien21 for tagging me in it! Let’s go:
A // Age: I’m 24. Yep, an old lady with a soul of an even older lady.
B // Biggest Fear: Oh wow. Let me think. I’m scared to death of jellyfish. But I’m also really, really, really scared of guns. I hate even the toy ones.
C // Current Time: 2:35 am
D // Drink You had last: hmm… good question. I have the memory of a 100 years old lady.. I think it was water.
E // Every day starts with: I read a text for meditation when I wake up and then I’ll catch something to eat. Or maybe I’ll be woken up by my daughter (my crazy cat) yelling at me just because.
F// Favorite song: Currently I’m addicted to the new Ed Sheeran cd. It’s so amazing and it makes me feel things I haven’t felt in a while. It makes me feel like I’m in love! That is so weird!! Really good, everyone should listen to it.
G// Ghosts: Don’t believe in them. When someone dies, it’s gone. The body goes back to the dust and the spirit, the breath of life given by God returns to Him. No wondering souls stuck over here.
H// Hometown: I was born in Curitiba, which is the principal city of the state of Paraná – Brazil.
I// In Love With: Sarah J Maas’ books (seriously, how do those things come out from a single brain?! She is just brilliant) or any other books that can touch my soul (which nowadays is very hard since SJM raised the bar so high); my cats give me life, they are my babies and they teached me how to love in a way I never knew I was able to; my family is my whole world, I could never ask for a better family than I have; my mom is the light of my life, she is the strongest woman I know and I look up to her for everything; myself, ‘cause damn son, I love myself (most of the times) and I make myself happy as well (again, most of the time); of course music, it just moves me and I’m always listening to it or singing which I’m also in love with, I feel like it links my soul to the world in another level. Oh, and cooking! I loooooove cooking!
J// Jealous of: my friends, my family, my stuff (hate when ppl get my stuff or move it around, especially my books)
K// Killed Someone: Nope. And don’t intend to.
L// Last Time You Cried: Oh that’s easy: today in the morning. A baby from a friend of mine was being presented to God in my church today, and when the aunt of the baby started to sing a beautiful song about it, I cried. Yes, I’m a melted butter.
M// Middle Name: Roberta. Do I hate it? Yes. But what can I do? My dad chose that after his own name. Also hate that I don’t have my mother’s family name.
N// Number of Siblings: Zero. Single child. But I have cousins. And now I have a sister that isn’t related by blood, but I have her as my sister since her dad played a role of a dad to me as I grew up.
O// One Wish: Travel the world and have the money to buy all the books I want. Or have my mom with me forever.
P// Person You Last Texted: My best friend Dany. I was being a dick filled with jealousy because she made peace with another friend of hers and she wasn’t texting me as much as she did before. (If we’re talking about any sort of text, including online chatting, I’d have to say that was with my girls – which I already love talking to – on the group from ACOTAR: Morgan @feysandrowelin21 , Anne from @queenofthewesternwastes and also @bookswithcupcakes @faeyre-darling which I don’t know the name and @squaddreamcourt. Talking about anything from about our personal lives to the SJM series are amazing! I’m learning a lot and I’m loving it!)
Q// Questions You’re Always Asked: Oh boy, I have no idea. LOL. Let me think… “Why is your accent so funny?” or maybe the most annoying one: “Did you know that you look like Hanna Montana?” (when my hair wasn’t dyed)
R// Reasons to Smile: My baes from my books, the SJM Fandom (we’re all crazy), my insane family, my cats and myself, ‘cause I’m a freaking mess and I laugh at myself very often.
S// Song Last Sung: “Shape of You” by Ed Sheeran. I LOVE this song so much! It’s catchy!
T// Time You Woke Up: 8:12 am and I was already late.
U// Underwear Color: White with little blue anchors. Yes, I’m cute.
V// Vacation Destination: London. And if I’m lucky, I’ll get to go there next year. #fingerscrossed
W// Worst Habit: I bite my nails and they are always awful. Also, I usually look at someone and if I don’t like that person, I will ignore her or be mad at her for mainly nothing. I’m also very impatient.
X// X-rays You’ve Had: Hands, feet, lungs, spine and lower back.
Y// Your Favorite Food: I love food, and this is a hard one. I love pasta, pizza, burgers, fries, manioc, fruits in general, I LIKE FOOD. So I don’t really know. Sorry.
Z// Zodiac Sign: Sagittarius. I don’t buy the signs thing. I only know because I searched it long ago when ppl asked me about it.
So, now I’ll tag @faeyre-darling, @squaddreamcourt and @tinyamren. Have fun!

"...Oh," Gabriel clears his throat a bit awkwardly. Well, if she wasn't here for the festival, then why was she interested in demons? "I mean it was - there were a bunch of demons in town, possessing people. Causing some chaos. But it's all um - taken care of, now? Nothing to worry about..." He glances back at the books, chewing on his lower lip. "Well if you weren't here for all that, can I ask why you're researching exorcisms?" Did she know someone who was still possessed? Or was she just here trying to clean up the rest of those who still lingered?
"I'm Gabe," he introduced, clasping her hand as she offered it for a shake. "I still consider myself pretty new around here, too - but I guess it's been a few months now."
Robby's eyebrows bounced up, curious. "The festival? No, I'm kinda...brand new, to town." If there had been some kind of demonic event that occurred just before she came to Raven's Peak... Well, what could that mean? Could that be how she ended up in this town she had never heard of? And did that mean the demon was controlling her in some way she didn't know about? Subliminally affecting her decisions? The possibility of that made her blood run cold. "Did something happen?"
"I think most people are probably not trying to read about exorcisms." Robby manages to offer a smile back, still a little shaken at her own unanswered questions. "It's okay, you didn't interrupt. I appreciate the insight, either way." And because she's new, and doesn't know anyone or anything about the town, she holds out her hand. "I'm Robby, by the way."

"Interested in exorcisms?" Gabriel repeated a bit nervously, swallowing thickly. But that didn't have to have anything to do with him specifically, of course. Could he even be exorcised? And if he could, what would happen? He didn't really want to think about it. "Were you here for the uh. Festival? That was... a lot. It's probably smart...to know how to protect yourself."
"Me? Oh - no. I was just sort of ...browsing. I've been trying to get back into reading. Guess I'm not sure what it is I want to read, though?" He gives her a bit of a sheepish smile. "I guess probably not exorcisms. I was just kind of...wandering. I didn't mean to interrupt."
Robby took notice of the other shopper when he first turned down her aisle. He seemed to be doing his own browsing though, hand trailing along the books, so Robby didn't pay him any mind. Until he spoke up.
Offering him a weak smile, she shrugged. "You could say that, I guess." God, he probably thought she was some kind of...Satanic cultist or something. "I'm interested in exorcisms, really. The...history of them." Hopefully that sounded normal enough. Or at least not alarming.
Then again, he was in the same section as her. Unless he was just wandering aimlessly. "Are you? Doing research?"

There was a strange comfort Gabriel got from walking the many shelves of books, even when he wasn't that much of a reader. Even if he had no real plans of actually purchasing a book. Not unless one really spoke to him, and if that were to happen he had a feeling it would be something for Cricket or Juniper rather than himself.
His fingers traced idly over the book spines as he walked between the shelves, turning a corner and finding someone standing nearby staring at a number of options. He didn't mean to butt into her business, but he couldn't help but notice the titles she was staring at with a confused sort of expression on her face. Well, that was maybe one way to learn more about the town they both found themselves in.
"Sorry," he said, feeling like he was intruding on her space a little bit but also not sure that he could just turn around and walk away, either. "Um. Are you...researching...something?"
who: open [3/5] where: The Bookshelf
Normally, Robby's first stop for research would be the local library. Libraries were familiar: from her childhood, from her time in college and graduate school. But she still wasn't sure about her longterm plans, about staying here in Raven's Peak. Something about a library card felt like too much commitment.
But anyone can walk into a bookstore and purchase what they wanted, as long as they had the money. So Robby found herself in the Bookshelf, hoping there might be something useful. She steers clear of the religious section and heads toward the more occult subjects. Demonology, maybe? Malevolent spirits? How would she be able to tell fact from fiction, though? Maybe she should try the books on religion...
With a conflicted look on her face, Robby turned from the shelf of occult books and craned her neck around. Considering her options.
