+ he can hear gurgling noises reverberate around the room because Vox's tummy is so poor and sickly. Val is rushing to take him to the bathroom in case he vomits again; it seems like there's more to come, from the sound of it...

I sit in a quiet room and imagine vox, weak feverish and sickly, and val picking him up like a small dog. Especially if vox just spewed onto the floor moments before being picked up and all the while he's like 😵‍💫

Ah yes, an ideal scenario.

Do you have any headcanons for vox pre-canon? I personally like to entertain the idea of vox starting off as a down-on-his-luck sinner, who struggled just to get a decent meal a day, before alastor appeared in his life and turned his luck around. But what do you think?

Oh- Well I never really thought of tummy stuff for pre-canon but I suppose I could give it a shot…

I agree with the down on luck sinner! Perhaps the thing he heard most of the time was the constant growling of his stomach.

Maybe that’s why he’s so sensitive about it now? Bad memories?
