Agreed. "cleric spells" are those on the cleric spell list. Domain lists sometimes pull from other classes' spell lists. The language is dodgy partly because one could be a multi-classed cleric/other spellcaster, and then which spells are which get more complicated.

Spells that are still on the cleric spell list. Like, I'm in the trickery domain which means I can cast charm person once a day, without preparing it, but all my cleric spells like cure wounds have to be prepared.

okay cool. cool cool cool. as long as whatever source i’m pulling from lists them specifically (or primarily) as cleric spells, then they are spells i can use. i think my confusion stems from what clio mentioned: that sometimes spells overlap classes depending on the domain.  i was dumping spells in a panic bc i’d research them and they’d be listed as sorcerer spells, or wizard spells or what have you. and i couldn’t tell that they were ALSO cleric spells.
