I love your writing when it comes to the arcana! We’ve seen the main 6 with a winged mc- but what about the courtiers? (Idk how specific we can get with the asks so you can ignore this next part) and if winged mc would occasionally make bird noises- like squawking or chirping depending.

Volta

Resident Sweetheart thinks your wings are absolutely gorgeous!

She'd love to look closer one of these days but hey-! Was that food she saw over there?

Volta admires from afar for the most part, if you can get her curiosity to get the better of her for a moment she'll willingly investigate with your permission!

She doesn't have the patience to run her hands through your feathers though, you might wanna find someone else for that job.

If you give her one of your feathers she's immediately tearing up, promising to keep it safe for you.

She probably ends up wearing it somewhere or hiding it in a spot she specifically picked out for it.

She doesn't mind if you chirp or squawk! She might think there's a lose bird and get excited at first but she gets used to it.

Valerius

Oh, is he enamored.

He LOVES your wings. He thinks that they're the epitome of beauty.

If you have feathers and allow him to run his fingers through them he'll be completely at peace. Can you blame him? Pretty and soft things are too good to pass up.

Gods forbid if you actually give him a feather to keep. He'll accessorize the hell out of that! Wearing it in his hair, a necklace, you name it.

If your wings are more leathery he still thinks they're beautiful! He'd still be content to brush his fingers on them every once in a while.

Purely my self indulgence coming through but I believe he'd love to help you care for your wings. He might be more into it than you.

Valerius has the best products, ushering you to the baths as soon as they arrive. In his mind, helping you with your wings in the baths is like helping someone wash their hair. Its intimate and peaceful. He might tear up the first time.

Valerius actually loves the occasional chirp, but do not squawk near him. He can try to be nice all he wants but that noise hurts his ears and is quite unpleasant to say the least.

Vlastomil

He thinks they're beautiful! Even though they represent almost the exact opposite of his gorgeous worms..

With Vlastomil he's much more content to admire with more distance than the others. Though if you insist he might think about a more close up investigation.

He'll help you with your wings if you ask him to, thought he's not as knowledgeable as Valerius so you might have to consult him beforehand.

Vulgora

They think it is absolutely BADASS!

Vulgora thinks leather wings are cooler, even if there isn't a huge difference in how they work. They'd still love them if you had feathered wings.

If you can actually fly with your wings they'll get even more excited. They'll suggest "dodging practice" and for your safety say no.

They'd be perplexed if you wanted them to brush through your feathers or just simply feel your wings. Gentle touch is absolutely foreign with Vulgora. They'll have to ease into it honestly.

Vlademar

They have questions, which is the only warning you'll get.

How do they bend? Are they identical to bird wings? Can you actually fly with them? How easily do they break?

At first you'll likely have to deal with them somewhat gently bending your wings, feeling around them, and if you have them, even occasionally leaving with some of your feathers.

When they do take some feathers they put them in a jar, yes, they have a jar. But hey! At least its your own jar?

Eventually they'll get bored of fully examining you...that is until you start chirping or squawking. That gets them interested all over again.

They aren't bothered, quite the opposite. They want to know if the noises are natural and if so, why? It'll be a long few nights for you I fear..

here’s what i have to say:

is valdemar good aroace representation in the first place?

i dont think so! their orientation was announced in a, correct me if im wrong, comment section of an instagram post, and no where else! the fact that they and vulgora, villains, are the only nonbinary characters that use they/them exclusively, and the fact that valdemar, again, a villain, is the only aroace character in the entire game, is simply overall bad representation! a villain being aroace isn’t inherently bad representation, but all other things considered in this specific situation, the creators seem to view aroace people as inhumane freaks! yikes!

is this an excuse to erase said gender and sexuality?

not really, no!

is the valdemar dorian route by ronelle otieno good aroace representation despite this?

i think so! it’s done very well in my opinion, being an integral part of their character, not explicitly stated but shown through their actions and storytelling, it honestly makes valdemar seem a little more human, the way that their orientation is shown. i think ronelle otieno took something that was a poorly done afterthought and made it into good representation

can aroace people partake in sex and romance?

yes! this is a pretty obvious fact that most people are aware of by now

since that’s the case, is the inclusion of sex and/or romance when engaging with an aroace character an erasure of their sexuality?

not inherently! again, aroace people Can partake in these things, despite what some people may think!

HOWEVER, is deviating from canon with an aroace character who has been explicitly stated to not have an interest in sex and romance an erasure of their sexuality?

honestly, this is where things get tricky, but i think i have a way of thinking about it:

do actions = attraction?

i dont think so! i think people can kiss whoever they want, have sex with whoever they want, give flowers to whoever they want, without it being a direct show of their orientation. therefore, while it may be deviating from canon, it isn’t an inherent erasure of the characters sexuality. an erasure of aroace sexuality would be having that character specifically show or state that they are romantically and/or sexually attracted to someone. that’s where we begin having issues! if you have a problem with deviating from canon, that’s an entirely different thing, and i suggest you never interact with fandoms ever! for your own sanity.

people swap the sexualities of characters all the time, why is it such an issue when people do it with aroace characters, or queer characters in general?

lack of representation! if all these different flavors of queer were normalized, as they should be, people wouldn’t have so much of an issue with playing around with characters sexualities, but because representation is spare, people cling onto these aspects of these characters for dear life, even if the representation isn’t good representation

so what should people be fighting for?

more representation! instead of hanging onto characters who’s orientation is already a badly done, arguably acephobic afterthought, maybe the best course of action is to make an effort to create more aro and/or ace representation in general!

at the end of the day, is this all that big of a deal?

not really! you are the the captain of your own ship. you can choose to interact with things, or dont! wasting energy arguing over something that wont change is not worth your precious time. using that energy to create and promote Good representation is probably a better use of ones energy.

i highly encourage aroace people, especially those who have read the dorian route, to share their opinions. i dont intend to speak For or Over aroace people, im just a stranger on the internet who has thought a lot about things that dont really matter a whole lot in the grand scheme of things

I’ve been WAITING FOR THIS!!

I think Doyle and vulgora are a lot less complicated than Lloyd and Valdemar.

I’ll start with Doyle first, he is. Like hundreds of years older than the entire main cast. Obviously he’s not older than the courtiers, they’re demons.

He comes from the scourgelands, his clan completely wiped out and he’s the only one standing. Unfortunately he is the reason why they’re wiped out too.

He didn’t massacre them, he led them into a battle that had ended in complete catastrophe. Oops ! And that’s here his curse began.

The markings on his face seen would be the curse. Or like. The words specifically. Placed on him by a witch, he was cursed to live forever. He can die, and he has died. Over and over, each death different and He revives about a couple hours later. He doesn’t forget the deaths either so it’s just mentally scarring.

NOW ONTO VULGORA AND HIM!

Vulgora met him in the scourgelands, right around the time the plague was about to end.

At first, vulgora had attempted to ambush Doyle but obviously with those large fucking ears of his, he heard him. Also walking in the snow is loud, So is vulgora.

When Doyle confronted them, the two ended up having a small brawl, ending with Doyle dying. Oops. Win for vulgora.

They literally. Just dragged him back to Vesuvia and he had woken up in vulgora’s estate. Obviously confused because he hasn’t left the scourgelands since the loss of his clan. .. so. Never basically.

The two spoke and vulgora was like. “Ok you fight good you should like fight in the coliseum.” And Doyle was like “ok sounds better than sulking.” And thus their friendship began. They are both friendly with each other. I mean, vulgora’s still vulgora, Doyle’s just matched their energy and had started to grow very fond of the red thing.

He is the new champion after Muriel’s disappearance, and he very much enjoys what he does. It’s made him feel alive again, and he most certainly missed that adrenaline rush.

Unlike Lloyd, Doyle sticks to just vulgora. He isn’t all too social when he’s behind closed doors and just likes vulgora’s presence. He doesn’t talk to the other courtiers much, aside from Valdemar a couple of times … scratches head. He thinks they’re scary.

Vulgora reminds Doyle of his ‘brother’ before he lost him. And he does not Intend on loosing another friend. So those two are stuck with each other

Valerius🍷: okay okay I think he would definitely want someone patient because he's kind of a snob bitch (affectionately).

I think his type personality wise would be, like, someone that's kind and caring, because those are things he values in a partner.

(despite him literally being, like, a demon thing)

I think he would kind of want someone who's enthusiastic about things so that he and then can experience things together.

Also he would definitely want someone who's not used to being spoiled so that he can spoil them.

I think that like someone who's patient but also sassy or like not afraid to talk some sense into him sometimes, cause, as I said before, he can be a snob little bitch (affectionately guys I love him).

Vlastomil🐛:

Omg his type is definitely a quiet person, or, like a bookworm.

He enjoys quiet things like tea and books and would prefer if his partner shared part of his interests or something similar.

But ofc ofc he's not a picky man so he's not going to run up his nose at anyone who's not his exact type because he's a gentleman, obviously.

Speaking of gentleman, he'd like someone romantic or kind of old fashioned maybe because that's also how he is.

I think someone who's on the more introverted side would be a better match for him, since he's a more extroverted person so it would kind of balance him and his partner out.

Oh and he'd also probably like a partner that's some form of passionate about something especially if it's something artistic because he loves passion.

Valdemar💉:

They'd like to have a kind and honest partner because those two things are very important to them, especially the honest bit.

They'd also want some loyal, because that's also a trait that matters to them.

They'd also prefer someone that either likes their morbid interests or at least tolerates them, but ideally someone who cares enough for them to listen to hours of their scientific theory rants.

They also have a thing for spoiling their partners they can't resist it so they'd definitely like a partner who they can spoil a lot.

I think their ideal significant other is definitely someone kind/honest which are some of the traits that they'd want their partner to have

Volta🍰:

Her type I think is someone that's artistic because she loves art and probably outgoing, too.

Her ideal partner is also probably a very extroverted person because she's like to take her partner out on lots of dates.

She's also the type of person to be more attracted to very giving/generous people, or just very kind people in general.

She LOVES talkative people because she'll either happily listen or talk and talk with them, which she likes to do as a bonding thing.

I think her ideal match would be a kind and caring person, as she is very caring and thoughtful herself.

Vulgora⚔️:

They would definitely LOVE a talkative partner.

They think it's so adorable when their partner goes on and on about something or just in general talks to them a lot.

And they would for sure like a partner that's very sweet and/or verbally affectionate towards them or just people in general because something about that makes them feel all fuzzy and nice.

I think that they would go best with a talkative partner like their type is and probably also someone that's some form of passionate because Vulgora thinks that passionate is one of the KEY things to a relationship.

I promise not all of these are gonna be Disney themed lol I'm just a Muriel simp (if you couldn't tell) and when I originally came up with the Disney princess idea Muriel as Hercules started rotting a hole through my brain so here we are! Also, we're gonna get some side character/familiar action here as well, yay!

From left to right (since none of the muses are named) Portia, Julian, Nadia, & the last two get subsumed into Asra

Oh god I can hear the Lucio simps screeching at me in the comments already

But consider: am I wrong tho

Let's face it bro is the villain in every route but his own and the cynical, "better than thou" personality that they both share just fits so well

Plus this version of Hades is a Satan analog who makes binding deals with others for his own benefit, and doesn't that sound like a certain devil we all know?

Not to mention both of them are trying to escape the realms they've been assigned & make themselves god king of everything

Morga - Phil

And now we get to the fun characters outside the M6

I will admit, Phil is a lot nicer than Morga, but jaded older mentor figure trying to make up for failed prodigies fits

Plus, Morga was Muriel's mentor in his route

I feel like both also fit into the role of proud parent figure by the end of their respective stories

And both are disapproving of their pupil's romances lol

Inanna - Pegasus

Admittedly Inanna is a bit more no-nonsense than Pegasus is, but she can still be goofy and fun when she wants to

Incredibly supportive of their human companions, important assets in battle, their appearance started the main character on a path for a better and more fulfilling life

Not much else to say here it just works

Vlastomil and Volta - Pain & Panic

Honestly idk if I can fit Vulgora and Valdemar into the Hercules narrative, but at least I could get these two in here

Vlastomil is Pain and Volta is Panic; I realize both could probably fit into Panic's role as they are the more timid and mild mannered courtiers, but I've chosen things this way because Volta is a little bit more flighty and afraid to commit crimes like Panic, where as Vlastomil is a bit more bold (when he's allowed to be) and better fits Pain

There's also the whole shape shifting deal they can all do

Khamgalai - Zeus

This one.....is a bit weird ngl, I'm still not quite sure about it

Honestly this is the ONLY time I will conflate someone so near & dear to my heart with Zeus

Mostly this all fits into the "detached/secret family member" archetype

And....I mean Zeus in this narrative at least is actually very kind & caring, as well as a proud dad which is similar enough to Khamgalai to work ok

Plus they both act as a guide for the main character when they're trying to find/drifting away from the plot a little bit

My MC is also a self insert, and for as long as I can remember I've always identified the most with Meg, more than any of the other Disney women

Anyone who has read my fic, seen the stuff I've posted about my character either on this blog or others, or even just talked to me on the arcana discord started by @iliveforyouilongforyouvesuvia can probably see that our personalities are very similar

Meg is very special to me as a character and I'm literally writing a post about mashing together my beloved and one of my favorite Disney movies, I'm not apologizing for conflating her with myself

If you’re arcana asks are open, then could you possibly do a HC with the courtiers. Sort of like with the lion MC one, but more specifically a MC with Na’vi features. Not Na’vi specifically. But the nose and eyes, the skin patterns, no eyebrows, ears, and tail.

maybe the MC even acts a bit like the Na’vi. Having a songcord (a cord used to document the life of each Na’vi, each bead having a specific meaning and therefore part of the song). A deep love for the planet and all living things, wearing colorful skin paint, and hissing when upset or angry.

STOP. Avatar is absolutely my favorite movie of all time, it has such a deep spot in my heart! I’ve also spent forever working on this in my drafts and need to release it before it gets stuck here haha….

MC has Na'vi like features

Volta

She finds you extremely beautiful, you can catch her attention for longer than anyone else can!

Volta loves your markings. She thinks they look like little stars and waves. Sometimes she’ll trace her fingers between them, like connect the dots.

She would be very interested in your songcord, thinking it's very pretty jewelry. She's pleasantly surprised when you tell her it creates your own story from the beads. She'd love to hear you sing it one day.

Let her help with putting colorful paint on! (maybe,, make sure its edible if we’re talking about pre-Nadia upright ending.) She really likes getting to be part of the process.

She’s fascinated by how expressive your ears and tail are! Upset? Tail is flicking every so often and your ears are slightly pulled back. Outraged? Tail is thrashing, ears fully pulled back and down. She also really likes how they perk up when you see something you want/peaks your interest. If they ever do it while you’re looking towards her, she immediately turns tomato red!

If she was ever around you when you hissed, she’d immediately get super tense. She’s not scared so to speak, but she registers you hissing as something threatening is nearby. This is definitely proven by the fact she lets out an extremely high pitched squeak and is shivering.

Vulgora

I won’t lie to you, at first they don’t give the slightest damn about any of this. To them you’re just another weirdo person that isn’t related to their interest in wars and fighting. That means they don’t pay you the slightest bit of attention, despite trying to get you to fight them every chance they get.

That’ll change the first time your ears slightly pull back and you let out a hiss, tail thrashing in response to whatever they’ve said or possibly done to offend you. They absolutely love how fierce that look is!!

Unfortunately, that means they're gonna get on your nerves just for the fun of it while trying to beat you up. You could be mid conversation and then suddenly a very passionate Vulgora is on your heels, yelling and making stabby motions with their hands.

Vulgora would love to spar with you just to see that look and determine just how strong you really are.

They would love to see you with the colorful war paint, especially if it’s for sparring or some sort of fight. They think it makes you look more intimidating (and really attractive but they're emotionally clogged so they wouldn't say that. ever.)

If you could mimic the war cry of the Na’vi, it would fill their dreadfully foul soul with so much excitement. Though, they might also try to make you do it every time they’re about to try and get into a fight, which would be annoying to the max. Your choice if the pros outweigh the cons here.

Vlastomil

He might offend you the first time you meet, comparing your skin markings to worms. Eventually you might realize that he means that as one of the highest compliments he could ever give.

When he finds out you have a deep love for the planet he's ecstatic! Does this mean you like worms? not necessarily, but he'll act like it does until told otherwise. If you do ever tell him you don’t necessarily adore worms, he will be sooo butt hurt. But as long as you don’t tell him you absolutely hate them or dislike them, he believes there is a chance for redemption in you.

Other than that, he does love to just, admire some scenery with you. He likes the way it takes his mind fully away from what he does the rest of the day. It’s mostly watching over his babies, and a little bit of trying to be a functioning member of society (though significantly less effort goes towards this one..) He still appreciates the unwinding nonetheless!

Vlastomil would love to help you with your body paint, though he takes it further by trying to help you make your own with mud and,,, yeah he goes a little overboard. He does think it looks very natural on you. If you’d offer to let him help you actually put it on? He really only makes subtle contributions. He doesn’t mind the mess either, so long as it’s kept to a minimum.

Vlastomil honestly doesn’t really care for anything else. He’s content with his worms and you.

Valerius

Valerius is completely enamored with you. You're so beautiful, in a way that no one else in the city is.

He’s definitely caught in the fact that you’re so in tune with nature. The way you live, the customs and traditions that you have are so historical to him. (Do you see where I’m going with this..and am I cooking?)

Your song cord with absolutely floor him. Each bead represents an important life event for you? Show him how you translate it to song, what each bead represents in your story. He loves the way you preserve your own history like that. Sometimes he wonders what his own would look like if he were in your place.

He wouldn’t want to physically help with the body paint, but he would offer suggestions if it wouldn’t be offensive to you. Little comments like, “maybe add this,” or offering his opinion on colors.

Like Volta, he loves your skin markings. He won’t outright play connect the dots with your smaller ones though. He does like to see if he can make his own little constellations in his head though.

If you come with him around the palace or participate in any meeting before he left the council, he often takes glances at your ears and tail to see how you feel about the topic at hand. If they start to show that you’re uncomfortable or frustrated with what’s going on, he’ll somehow argue for your side of things if you two are close at the time.

If you attended these things before the two of you were close, he’ll just,,look at you for a moment. He’ll eventually break it by asking you what’s got you in knots and letting you argue your own case.

Valerius doesn’t feel one way or another about your ears and tail. He thinks they’re kinda cute, and they help him understand your emotional cues, but otherwise he doesn’t really mind.

If you ever hissed at him, he’d be sooo offended. Pulls out all the dramatics he’s been waiting on. He doesn’t care if you hiss at anyone else and he might even encourage you to hiss at some of them. (NEVER Valdemar. You would give this man a heart attack.)

Valdemar

They are so interested in you. If you know Valdemar, you know this curiosity isn’t innocent. It’s always morbid, bloody thoughts about the science behind your existence. They often poke and prod at your skin markings, and if they glow in certain situations you’ll be in trouble. They’ll often put you into a variety of environments to see if it’ll happen.

They often push your buttons to see reactions, obviously toying with you. You’ll watch them do something that just pisses you off, then turn around to write something down after you fire something back. This is also why they love your ears/tail. You’ll even watch them lean one way or the other to get a better look at what your tail is doing!

If you ever hissed at them, they will have one of two reactions. Either they’re delighted, proceeding to ask even more questions and being a menace to your brain, or they get extremely quiet, probably cursing you for your lack of manners. (Hypocrite.) If you let them act on one of their more innocent questions they’ll forgive you!

The war/body paint isn’t the most interesting in their case. They do ask why you feel the need to wear these things on occasion, but often just ignore it.

Valdemar will constantly come up with (hopefully) hypothetical questions about your ears and tail. They aren’t polite about when they ask them either, just straight out asking whenever the question plagues their mind. It doesn’t really matter if you know the answer, they’re already coming up with reasons for whatever they’ve asked about in their head.

Vlastomil has a bathing suit and I gave Vulgora and Volta bathing suits also so I wanted to give Valdemar one. I think they would sit in the life guard chair and wait for someone to drown

Vesuvia weekly ; Watching the courtiers sleep!

Pairing : The courtiers x reader

Fandom : The Arcana visual novel

Warnings : none. Pure fluff.

You were simply walking down the corridors of the third floor of the palace, simply curious about what was there, since you had never visited before. However, you stumble upon their doors slightly ajar...

Valdemar :

You either see them lying on their back with their hands on their chest or on their side. The cover hides basically all of them except for their head. They lay down almost perfectly flat. They do not make a single noise ; if you didn't see their chest softly rising and falling you'd think they were dead.

They look shockingly peaceful and comfortable. You envy them.

They're actually a heavy sleeper (they have to sleep for three days like come on) but they would know if you were to even take a single step in their room and you'd die on spot.

But when they're awake they are like... Awake.

Vulgora :

You hear them before you even see them. They snore. Loudly.

S̷N̸O̴R̵E̶

They're sprawled out onto their bed like a star, either on their back or stomach. The covers are covering barely half of their body.

Ś̵̺Ň̶̲O̸͉͗Ṛ̶̛E̷̤̒

They're a heavy sleeper and move around a lot while asleep.

They wake up before the sun ; because the sun is lazy. They are better than the sun. They're faster, stronger, brighter, and they have more gas.

Volta :

She's all curled up into a ball under her covers, like a little bird in its nest. Her breath whistles slightly in the night and she covers her ears with her blanket.

The little pair of wings on her head flutter here and there, and she does move around a lot, but tries her best to hide her face and ears for some reason.

Very light sleeper ; the sound of your breathing could wake her up

Tries to keep herself as warm as she can.

Vlastomil :

He, unsurprisingly, is snuggled up in his covers like a burrito. Reject humanity, return to worm. He wiggles around in his sleep sometimes, in a circular pattern, clockwise.

And when he's completed the circle, he wakes up.

Pretty average sleeper, goes through the normal phases of sleep and actually has pretty restful nights... If you forget about the moisture.

He sweats a lot, despite loving to be wrapped in his blanket like that.

Valerius :

Probably the most normal of them all. You find him sleeping on his back, one arm behind his head and his other hand resting on his chest, the covers up to his torso.

He keeps his hair in a bun for the night

Does have trouble falling asleep sometimes

Bonus! - Cuddling with the courtiers!

Valdemar :

1. Big spoon (to your great surprise)

2. Onto you weighed blanket style

Shockingly gentle yet firm grip ; they love the warmth and softness of you but will never admit it.

Vulgora :

1. Crushes you. Prepare to try not to suffocate. Sprawled out onto you as if they were sleeping normally.

2. The same but while holding you.

Firm grip, but will loosen it when they hear you can barely breathe. Loves your scent.

Volta :

1. Hold her close to you, envelop her in your arms and keep her safe. Loves your warmth too, and insists you're entirely covered in the blanket as well.

2. Small spoon, and clings to your hands.

Doesn't hold on to you, prefers being held by you to feel safe.

Vlastomil :

1. Coils around you worm style.

2. But likes to be held too.

Will profusely apologize about sweating too much.

Downsides : he takes the covers all to himself.

Valerius :

1. Small spoon. I rest my case.

Will act as if he is simply ok with it and doesn't enjoy it as much as he does.

You better not talk about this to anyone, he'll... Do nothing, he loves you too much.

Sunday Morning News #1

Hello hello, current and future Oracle's Enclave members! I have decided to run this account like a newspaper with daily posts, most of which have themes! Sundays are news, so we'll be covering anything new within the server! There isn't a lot today, so don't get way too comfortable.

Current Events (literally)

Our current event is a masquerade murder mystery, OoooOoOoOo! Unfortunately, the event is coming to a close, our three teams named after courtiers Vlastomil, Vulgora, and Volta will receive their final clue to solve the mystery tonight at 4 PM CDT! The event is no longer open to new members, but more events are to come very soon! If you want to participate in the next one, comment or DM this account with your Discord username, where yours truly (AlpacaHat67) will send you a lovely friend request!!

Other Information

Um... well, I told you that we didn't have many shiny new things on the server! Although, we might if you join, hehe ;)! As per usual, all of our channels are as active as ever, both ooc and in-character channels! Julian has not been told that he is loved in his ask channel thus far, however. Sigh... they hate my character sooo much (it is actually quite the opposite)!

Closing remarks

Well, that's a wrap, folks! It's been, quite literally, an eventful week, considering our first server-wide roleplay event was held! Let's hope this one is just as fun! Although, we really need a break from all the puzzles. ...Especially poor team Vlastomil! (I can say that, I was put on that team!)

it's very rare, but sometimes i find code comments in the dialogue trees. they're more common in fictif, and generally only show up in the less popular stories.

but there's exactly two comments in the arcana. both of them are in nadia's route. the first one is in nadia book 6, chapter 3, within the "make a move" paid scene, near the end as nadia is walking the mc back to their room. the comment is written right before nadia and the MC come across mercedes and melchior blocking the path, immediately before the dogs' sprite is shown, and it says: "could also have them rummaging around in your room when you get there" evidently, an alternative way they considered writing that scene.

the second one is in nadia book 11, chapter 3, right before your decision to question either volta, vulgora, or valerius, and has two parts. the first part says "If you question Volta first, you will only be allowed to question Vulgora or Valerius once (and get less information" and the second part says "Vulgora 2 or Valerius 2 only. If you question Vulgora first, you can question Vulgora twice (Vulgora One block AND Vulgora Two block), Valerius once (Valerius 2), or Volta twice, and vice versa for Valerius questioning first. To reach the end of the loop, you must question Volta twice, but it doesn't have to be consecutively." Which seems to be just a leftover reminder the devs left for themselves on how to code the questioning process.
